Reviews
Hotel Lux Melide is praised for its modern, clean, and comfortable rooms, with a convenient location right on the Camino. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful.
- Convenient location right on the Camino
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Noise from other rooms and plumbing
- Inconsistent availability of hot water in showers

Wonderful stay. Close to everything! Definitely will be back!

The room

The room was disgusting, gum on the walls, floors dirty, empty food wrappers, and dirty bathroom.
- 5/5
Great Place by American standards
- 5/5
I just love it
- 5/5
Great hotel! 10/10
- 5/5
Help the cleaning staff a bit with supplies when refreshing rooms. Also, a few things did not work in the room but it is minor maintenance that is likely ongoing with wear and tear of traffic from guests! Really a special find for 4 of us who were there on business.
- 5/5
they should offer breakfast with stay
- 5/5
Great staff, very clean, loved the rooftop, room had a bit of a musty smell but a very clean room. Prime location! Would absolutely stay there again.
- 1/5
The toilet was backed up and the staff entered with a toilet plumber and left it for the guest to unplug the toilet . The room was not cleaned properly and had to go out and get supplies . Leave that night and was scheduled for 3 nights . Had to get clean operational room.

I took a trip to Orlando with my 11 year old daughter to visit the Universal parks. We had a blast but I wouldn’t choose this hotel with her again. It was geared towards adults with the setup with the rooftop pool/bar.
- 4/5
Great room, and excellent location
- 5/5
Great price and close to everything needed
- 5/5
1 mile outside Universal, free shuttle.
- 5/5
Everything was great! The only thing that I wished they had, would be having access to the HDMI port to the tv so that I could hook up my laptop to watch movies. And to have access to movie apps via the remote.

Small property overall but has everything you need and the rooms are still spacious and very comfortable
- 3/5
Room was clean. Front desk was pleasant. Roof top pool was a plus. Difficult finding parking onsite if you’re coming back late due to shared parking with rooftop restaurant that gets a lot of business. Convenient to universal & shopping which was the main plus
- 4/5
Great place for the right price
- 5/5
I loved the location of the hotel as well as the 2 restaurants and coffee shop inside. Pool hours
- 4/5
Everything was clean. When you need something you call them. And they come and to you right away. And very privately. Very nice people

That it wasn’t a great location. That in my three day stay they did not clean my room, the showerhead was broken, fell on my daughter‘s head and my head, their phone didn’t work when called to give us towels they couldn’t. It was such a horrible day.

Good value, great location
- 5/5
Everything very good very nice the hotel a good customer service with a good treatment, as for the cleanliness of those who should clean it every day oh if not at least pass and pick up the garbage and leave clean towels is my opinion but the some are very good with good space and the beds and pillows very good, I felt very safe in the hotel without any misses, as for the very good bar and good drinks the only bad thing is the pool that was very dirty for such a weekend so cozy and so good weather that I did to enjoy it that if they would have to give it good maintenance since their hotel is totally spectacular with the view they have and the hookah service and the show that they play live music more. Your drinks is what I think and very soon I will return again without a doubt and I hope I can enjoy the pool much better. Thank you for your attention..

Fines de semana entra gente porque hay restaurante abajo y rooftop arriba Definitivamente no es un hotel familiar ni que recomendaría
- 2/5
The hotel is in a great location to Universal. Quick Uber ride and you are right there. The hotel was decent. The room was good. Nothing fancy but definitely comfortable. The rooftop pool is small but would be a great spot to watch fireworks. The food at the pool bar was good. Two complaints. The hotel smells like curry. The restaurant in the lobby is Indian, the food looked amazing but the curry smell definitely carried through to the rest of the hotel. Also, in the middle of the night the fire alarm started going off. Every few minutes. No one knew what to do. Eventually people started going into the lobby. The fire department was there but there was no direction from hotel staff what to do. When the fire department left everyone just figured it was okay to go back to their rooms.
- 5/5
I like it everything
- 1/5
The room was not maintained properly and had broken fixtures. The bathroom was small and parking was horrible. We are never coming back
- 4/5
The hotel itself was great. Maria and Miguel at the front desk were very very helpful and so nice. Upon my departure my luggage broke and had to run and get a replacement. It was almost time for me to check out and I called the front desk (Maria) and she kindly allowed me to stay a little bit longer to transfer my items to my new bag. She was amazing. The rooftop bar was incredible , the atmosphere, food , drinks and hookah were great. The only down side I would say is parking on the weekend is crazy. Because they have two restaurants at the hotel, parking is limited. There’s at least 200 rooms and only 50 parking spaces. Other than that , everything was great. This will be my spot when I come to Orlando.
- 2/5
The photos are very well taken and this place has some updates but you can feel the different way you are treated here unfortunately. I wouldn't stay here again and I recommend you don't either. For the price you can find a much more suitable place to stay in Orlando.
- 3/5
Drinks were weak at the rooftop bar. Very overpriced
- 4/5
Loved the location, property and staff. The guest rooms are spacious but a Major annoyance..no furniture/ drawers and no luggage racks?? So imagine a family of four, 3 large bags, two back packs living out of a suitcase on the floor for six days. Inquired about another room type but they all are the same. Not happy. If the hotel is not going to have furniture there should be an option for luggage rack to keep the floor clear and free from getting dirty. Its a small investment that makes sense especially for families or traveling wirh seniors!
- 3/5
Room had a wet mildew smell. Shower head wouldn’t hang up on mount. Constant music from business next door. If you’re a light sleeper it might not be a good fit. Besides that everything was ok
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
This place was amazing although not very family friendly. the roof top bar and the restaurant downstairs is all open to the public so in the afternoon and night theres a lot of party night life traffic here and it makes it hard to find a parking spot or get to your room. Over all it was very nice and will staying here next time !
- 2/5
We had a serious issue with our room door and the staff never properly solved the situation or offered real help until several hours later. We were left for hours without access to our belongings, received multiple promises that were never fulfilled, and due to the hotel’s negligence we ended up missing our flight. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of empathy and professionalism from the staff.
- 3/5
The room it self was very clean the shower was a little small and the shower head is mounted to the ceiling which felt a little bit like I was drowning while showering and the glass door you have to be very careful as if you dont shut it and open it all the way it will swing closed and make a very loud noise where kind of makes you feel like your gonna break it so be mindful.
- 3/5
Rooms could’ve been cleaner but overall a decent stay.
- 4/5
Check in was quick, the staff were amazing and the room was exactly as pictures, plus very clean. The only downside was that they have a weird light fixture that uses your room key, and our bathroom light stopped working and would not turn back on

Overall the property was good but the shuttle from the hotel to Universal was sad. The bar in the pool area was a nuisance. Families and quiet couples are better off staying at the Universal properties like Surfside and Dockside.

Cons- parking was terrible. You had to fight to get parking after dark because of the roof top bar and restaurant in main lobby.
- 1/5
I made a mistake on the date of the reservation and when I went personally to try and fix it. Nobody wanted to help me.
- 3/5
Pool closes at 6 everyday and is in the middle of the rooftop restaurant. There’s also hookah available so wouldn’t recommend if you have children. Housekeeping was a little confusing on what days they were coming to clean, we had to request it even though at check in they gave me set dates the room would be clean. The whole living by smells like curry after 11am everyday. It wasn’t a terrible smell just didn’t have much warning prior. All in all I feel for the price of the hotel it was worth it in the long run.

The first room was amazing but the second one wasn’t as nice. Queen premium room is rather small and the bathroom is even smaller. Didn’t like that the pool was freezing cold. Also didn’t like that we couldn’t watch any movies. No streaming available on this tv. Didn’t like being woke up at 2am due to the guest next door having sex and banging on the wall.

Good costumr services, everything it’s been Kay

We didn’t book a room with breakfast but we ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant and it was delicious. The pool level /rooftop offers a wide view with the iconic landmarks of the city, a gentle breeze, good DJ, reasonable prices, authentic food, and amazingly friendly staff. The whole hotel gave us a welcoming vibe with its bright airy lobby, helpful staff, cleanliness and modern decor. The room was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped with a large TV and outlets to charge devices, lots of fresh towels, and a coffee station. No carpet flooring which made us more confident that it’s clean. The location is great, easy access to highways yet it is on a quaint little circle. We enjoyed our stay and would come back when we travel to Orlando again.
- 3/5
Me and my boyfriend definitely did enjoy our stay! The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was we had to wait like 5-10mins for hot water to come on & the Staff barely would show up for cleaning. I had to keep going downstairs for towels/rags Also, if you do stay on the higher levels you will hear the partying/loud music on the rooftop. but other than that the Hotel was clean & very friendly and helpful to most of our needs & helping us enjoy our trip.

Not impressed with this hotel. Check in states 4pm however when we arrived 20 mins early they told us room was not ready. 4pm still not ready until I asked for compensation for not being able to check in @4pm. Not enough parking for guest staying at hotel due to restaurant dinning and DJ at night at pool.
- 4/5
There was 2 roaches when we entered hotel room. One in the bathroom and one near the tv. But other than that no other complaints.
- 4/5
Parking was ok in the am , but limited at night. Valet available, but not required. The roof top bar/restaurant was very nice and the view is amazing. Limited seating and the pool was not open at night. We had no issues with parking. Super close to universal. Would love to have had complimentary coffee in the lobby. The only issue we had was there wasn’t a place in the shower to put personal items.

Great stay

Staff amazing. Was never offered new towels or room maintenance but besides that it was a great stay!
- 5/5
Really welcoming staff. Enjoyed the room (extremely comfortable bed!) and a few amenities. I was able to drop my bag off at the front desk and grab the shuttle to universal. They run it once in the morning and once in the evening back — so I took a short and cheap uber back when I was done at the park a bit early. I enjoyed the roof top pool (warm and clean) and had a quick and delicious dinner at the roof top restaurant (chicken wrap was so flavorful). Above and beyond expectations and highly recommend.

When I returned to my room in the evening, I noticed that the first-floor stairwell door had been propped open, which immediately raised safety concerns. Even more alarming, my room door was open even though I made absolutely sure it was closed and secure before leaving earlier that afternoon. Because I didn’t feel safe entering the room alone, we contacted the front desk. The staff member said he would check the security cameras, but did not allow us to view them or provide any transparency about what he saw. That lack of communication felt suspicious and unhelpful given the seriousness of the situation. He later mentioned that he would issue new keys, but never followed through or came to our room. No meaningful steps were taken to ensure our safety or give us peace of mind. As a result, I felt extremely uneasy the entire night and was unable to sleep. This situation could have been handled much better, and I’m disappointed that there was no real effort to resolve it or reassure guests. I would strongly urge the hotel to take security concerns more seriously and improve how situations like this are handled in the future.

The AI messaged me and asked if I needed anything. I told it that the shower wand holder was broken and we needed another floor mat in the bathroom because the water was getting between the shower glass. It ignored my request. The rooftop pool bar seemed to be pretty happening, but the developers/contractors failed to install the proper isolation measures to make sure that the vibrations from the music don't reverberate through the structure. Needless to say, Saturday night was a late one for us.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here multiple times. Clean rooms, convenient location and nice to have dining options within hotel.
- 5/5
This hotel was nice and clean and right down from universal studios. It does not have free bfast though and i think its because they have 2 restaurants in the hotel but they are not open for bfast so im not sure why they dont have bfast but thats the only thing i was disappointed but thats my fault for not looking better.

The overall stay at Cambria was a good experience. We were initially greeted by Maria who was welcoming and supportive of our check in. The lobby entrance/floor was clean, inviting, and modern. There is a faint lingering smell from the Indian restuarant, Tamara, in the hotel lobby but it wasn't an overwhelming scent. We also ordered from there one night and we enjoyed our food! The hotel room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed using the amenities including the free shuttle to Universal and the pool. The pool is not heated, fyi, so we mostly just lounged on the rooftop. The wait staff upstairs were helpful. The hotel can do with more regular tidying of the rooftop area though. It wasn't dirty but like cups lingering from previous guests or crumbs left on tables and chairs isn't nice. We also had no issues with parking even at night when many people came to the hotel to enjoy the rooftop lounge. Overall, it was a good stay and minor touch ups would make it perfect.
- 5/5
Great rooftop pool and bar
- 4/5
Nice place and nice people, but music in the rooftop bar was really loud, and don’t understand the hot water problem.
- 1/5
Staff were really helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t sleep at all because of huge AC sitting on the floor working SO loud. Air was so dry, we physically couldn’t breathe lying down. I wish we could turn it off without room going to 80F right away.
- 1/5
The staff was very rude I'll never ever stay there again but the restaurants are great
- 2/5
First, parking is extremely limited. The hotel shares parking with a restaurant, so spaces fill up quickly. Staff advised parking at a nearby business within walking distance, but you have to be back downstairs before 9 AM to move your car, which can be inconvenient. Second, if you’re looking forward to relaxing by the pool, this may not be the place. When we went on a Saturday morning, there was only one lounge chair available. The pool area on the 6th floor is mostly set up with restaurant-style seating and a bar, leaving very little space to actually lay out and enjoy the pool—especially surprising for a Florida location. Also, if you’re staying on the 5th floor, be prepared for noise. You can clearly hear music from the rooftop bar on the 6th floor, which went on until around 2 AM over the weekend. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. Overall, the space felt overcrowded and a bit overwhelming for the size of the property.
- 3/5
Rooms were clean as we're the rest of the common areas. Our room kept running out of hot water. I booked a balcony room and both the chairs were broken. I called ahead and they were not able to accommodate early check in which was annoying bc my flight was delayed but the other person arrived before me. They didn't even offer ro hold the bags or offer the amenities while he waited for the room so he ended up waiting for me to arrive. If you aren't a fan on Indian food maybe skip the location thr lobby restaurant is not enclosed and the smell wafts. For me not a problem but one should be aware. It was a decent stay overall but I wouldnt stay here again.
- 1/5
No parking loud music. Crowd inappropriate dressed. Never again parked car away I. A music store far away
- 1/5
One of my main concerns was the parking situation. There doesn’t seem to be enough parking available directly in front of the building, and unfortunately there’s no overnight valet option. When the lot fills up, guests are directed to park at a nearby abandoned music store, which felt a bit uncomfortable and not very secure. I did visit during spring break week, so I understand that may have contributed to the parking being full, but it’s still something to be aware of.
- 1/5
Staff was rude. Especially the manager. This property needs an overhaul.
- 2/5

- 2/5
clean room but not many channels on tv, took more than 6 hours to get new towels, parking wasnt adequate, and a few other issues regarding the breakfast or lack of for the price of the room. I will not be returning.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and the staff were all very kind.
- 3/5
Floors of the room were a little dirtier than expected. There was some hair in the entrance to our room. Never swung by to pull out the trash so our trash built up for our time of stay. Overall cleanliness 7/10 except for the lack of trash pull outs.
- 3/5
Staff was good, but between the poor parking/Racoon infestation outside the hotel, pool closing at 6pm, the constant smell in this hotel and the a/c fighting to work...we will not be visiting again.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. Will stay again
- 3/5
Room was clean, but unfortunately experienced issues with payment
- 5/5
What I did not like was having to find a space to park when I would return at night.
- 2/5
Pool access limited because of the restaurant which still needs work with menu items food is mid. Elevators slow and restaurant down stairs overwhelming smells from it. Some staff members not so friendly or mindful over minding things. Over all hotel could be more mindful of catering more so to guest. It's a tourist location ppl want to feel comfortable and welcomed in where there staying. Whole hotel needs a revamp just my opinion.
- 0.5/5
I was able to stay at this hotel, no ac in the room

Great property
- 5/5
The rooftop pool is a beautiful infinity, pool! It’s got a very nice bar next to it and downstairs is a wonderful Indian restaurant. They also have a coffee and baked goods stand downstairs when you first walk in and a pool table with a beautiful fireplace. The ambience is clean and nice.
- 2/5
The shower had mold, the air didn't work and the beds weren't comfortable.
- 2/5
This place has 250 rooms and only 10 parking spaces 😂😂😂 the parking is horrendous

Location to everything is great.
- 1.5/5
I appreciated how close it was to the parks, but the location felt somewhat tucked away, and the upstairs area became chaotic once night fell. The level of service here was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. When we first arrived, there was a man at the front desk who handled our check-in in a normal, professional manner. However, the experience quickly went downhill after that. The staff overall came across as unprofessional. One of the receptionists was on FaceTime while assisting us and repeatedly told the person on the call to “shut up” and “damn, give me a second,” which was inappropriate and uncomfortable to witness. When we requested extra towels because the one provided had hair on it, we were told over the phone, “you’re going to have to come down, we don’t have anyone here,” which felt dismissive and unhelpful. At first glance, the room appeared clean, but that quickly changed upon closer inspection. There were chips and popsicle sticks found under the mattress, it appeared that water had previously leaked from the ceiling, and there were visible stains on the sheets underneath. These conditions were unacceptable and not at all what we expected. We have stayed at Cambria properties many times before (this was our first visit to the Orlando location), and this experience was by far the most disappointing. Unfortunately, based on what we encountered, we will not be returning.

1. my food order from the roof top was missing spring rolls and when i went to get them from the rooftop bar the guy was eating them. He went to the back (had his coworker slide them through the window) and came out with them as if he went to prepare them. I didn’t realize what he did until i got to my room and the kitchen was closed. Highly disappointed in that. 2. The pool was extremely cold and there was no pool warmer to enjoy it. But everything else was actually great. I would love to book gain in the future. The young lady that checked me in was very nice and professional.

Worse thing was no safe in room which could have been a lot worse for me as went out all day when I came back the cleaner had left my door open luckily my room was at the end of corridor I could have lost my money ,iPad and worse of all my passport
- 5/5
The room was clean. Staff was friendly they were prompt when we needed something & most communication can been done VIA text which was a plus. The rooftop pool & bar was nice. The only downside is that it’s not associated with the hotel so you can’t just add things to your room account and at night a reservation is required. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we’d def book again.
- 4/5
The room was clean and i like the location of the area. Just didn't like the breakfast selection.
- 4/5
People were very helpful The smell of pot was ridiculous around 2 am 20260221 room 108 and the ac units are really loud

Room was spacious and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable i have ever slept on.

Enjoyed stay

One point of concern is that Expedia advertises this hotel as offering complimentary breakfast, which is inaccurate. While there are three on-site dining options available, none are included in the stay. Additionally, our experience at the upstairs bar and pool area was less positive. Some staff members were quite strict regarding pool hours and denied my son access during our final evening. Given that it was only 6:00 PM and my son has special needs, a small accommodation—such as allowing an additional 15 minutes—would have been greatly appreciated.
- 3/5
The front desk staff member was very nice. The smell throughout the hotel was a bit much for me, I saw they had a restaurant but I don't believe it was that. We also arrived early and expected to ride the shuttle to Universal and was disappointed to hear it only ran once at 8:45am & 6pm. I also was disappointed in their breakfast option. Overall I would not select this hotel again, as we didn't save money having to provide all the amenities ourselves.

Room was clean, check in was smooth. The best part of our stay there though was the Bartenders and waiters at the Rooftop Bar. They were so much fun!

The hotel restaurant was also disappointing. Even though I arrived before other guests, I was made to wait and our table was skipped over. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I will not be booking again.
- 3/5
location was nice, staff responsive the cleanliness wasn’t up to par, smelled of mildew in the hallway & room
- 3/5
The lobby smells like curry because of the restaurant. It’s overwhelming. The halls smells like air freshener as if they are trying to make sure the curry smell doesn’t carry. The pool is only open until 6pm which is craaaazy. I would not recommend this place for children because of the pool hours and the restaurant menu. The location is the biggest positive. However the shuttle only runs twice a day. Overall it was clean and close to universal so I can’t complain. Wish they would have advertised the pool hour and shuttle service schedule because I would not have picked it.

Best hotel that I’ve stayed in by far. Can’t wait until I bring my family to stay here this summer.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms. Helpful staff. Rooftop bar/restaurant was great. Good location. Will stay again.
- 1/5
Just another hotel
- 1/5
It was the worst hotel I’ve been to will not be going back and the pool let’s just say it’s just location cause no one absolutely no one wanted to go in that pool and no one did I’d see ppl walk in and walk right out once they’ve seen it
- 3/5
clean room, didn’t like that i had to request room cleaning, staff was friendly and helpful though
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
If you are sensitive to smells, you need to know that the restaurant is open to the lobby. I am sensitive to smells, but thankfully, curry doesn't bother me too much. The food looked delicious, but we were too full from park foods to try it. That being said, the hotel was beautiful and had a great vibe.We didn't get to visit the rooftop pool and bar, but it looked like a good time. Negatives would be the limited parking due to the restaurant and bar visitors. Parking is free though. Also, there is no dresser or drawers for clothing. There is a small closet, but we still had to live out of our suitcases on the floor.
- 5/5
Very everything was great.
- 4/5
It was cool. couple of mix ups nothing too crazy. Best feature is rooftop
- 5/5
I really didn't like the fact no room have a microwave but other than that great all around.
- 5/5
Ok stay
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Fantastic, clean and modern hotel with excellent staff. Don't skip a meal at the Indian restaurant. It is AMAZING.
- 5/5
Very accommodating. Great location for visiting Universal. Indian restaurant is delicious.
- 4/5
They didn’t have a microwave in the rooms and the beds were very hard
- 2.5/5
Location to Universal was great! We could walk but there was a free shuttle that had a morning pick up and one drop off in the evening. Close to restaurants. Free parking! Rooftop Pool and bar. Staff was friendly and always greeted us when we returned. We stayed on the 5th floor right below the bar so there was loud music until 2am most nights! Very hard to sleep! They clean rooms every 3rd night and didn’t clean or replenish our coffee so we had to go down to the lobby to get some. No towels at the pool so had to go down to the lobby to get some. Pool is on the roof but right in the middle of the restaurant/bar which was a little awkward. Late check out costs $$
- 0.5/5
The balcony view. The property is not a suitable hotel for guests who want to relax and enjoy the stay as they host of the hotel open their rooftop pool area for random guests to come in for a nightlife. They continue to play loud music through out the night until 2-3 am. The hotel service staff is very unpleasant and they do not accommodate to housekeeping requests.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 0.5/5
Everything. This location is a fraud.
- 4/5
Lobby and sheets had weird dusty smell, no YouTube on tv. Otherwise everything else was great and clean ☺️
- 5/5
Very clean and great staff!
- 5/5
Easy process , helpful staff. Made it all delightful. And super close to everything .
- 5/5
Nice room, and clean hotel
- 4/5
Room was beautiful and spotless. Rated 4 stars because the shower only had cold water, no hot water. Thankful for the woman at the front desk who made a great accommodation by letting us shower in an empty room. Other than the shower the stay was wonderful, even got to play pool in the lobby.
- 2/5
The staff was nice but that was the best part of the hotel. The whole hotel smell like n
- 3/5
The food in the Indian restaurant in the hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel could use some work. There is NO access to Netflix or streaming services on the TV. Its old school cable- it smelled stale like old smoke and the beds are comfortable though. Bathrooms are tiny and you have to keep the key card in a slot when using the electric or it shuts off. The pool looked but its small and in the middle of a bar/restaurant so not really kid friendly .
- 2/5
N/A Parking was horrible The smell of the floor, when you get off the elevator
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel! We came to celebrate a birthday and this hotel not only was super clean and met all of my needs but it also has KaLa a rooftop lounge. Definitely will come back again.
- 4/5
The indian restraunt downstairs smelled a little unpleasant but besides that was a really nice hotel
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. We were in and out pretty quick so we can't give a review on the restaurants, but the room was very clean and very big! Front desk staff was friendly and quick.
- 5/5
Room was extremely clean. Staff was very friendly. Check in was very easy and well run. Starbucks coffee stand in the lobby was very nice. Good location if visiting the UCF area.
- 2/5
Room has stuff on fl
- 5/5
very nice staff, very clean room,
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Loved most of the hotel apart from the rooftop pool was a little dirty around the edges and there was no breakfast on site. Just a coffee shop. But overall a very enjoyable stay
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Great amenities and restaurants. Very close to universal
- 4/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Favorite hotel to stay at best location hands down!
- 1/5
I’ve stayed at this property multiple times for work and have also booked rooms here for my employees when traveling to Orlando. After this experience and the lack of support, they will not be getting any more of my personal or company business.
- 3/5
The only thing stopping me from giving this a higher rating is the fact that they will only service your room after the 3rd day. Other than that it was a nice hotel
- 3/5
The room view was nice, the rooftop bar and pool was nice also, but that strong smell of food when you walk in the restaurant was horrible, need it to cover my nose every time I walked in, on top of that the hall way of the floor I stayed which was the 4th floor had a bad sewer smell.
- 5/5
Room was extremely clean and check in was easy
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Amazing staff and place is great
- 4/5
Had a great stay overall, I will say the card that controls the light was quite different… i didn’t really care for it to be honest just because the bathroom electric wouldn’t work without it. Other than that, great stay
- 5/5
Very nice room, great location, staff was very pleasant
- 3/5
Housekeepers were amazing. I would suggest adding a safe in the rooms for both domestic and international travelers for their personal items. The parking lot is not big enough to accommodate valet for surrounding restaurants. Hotel guest should get top priority. WiFi could have been stronger. Overall, a great location for a stay.
- 3/5
I didn't like the abandoned property next door.
- 4/5
It was a good stay!
- 2/5
It sucked
- 3/5
ROOM HAD TERRIBLE SMELL. Like diapers. KNOCKING SOUNDS FROM WALL NEAR A/C WOKE ME UP 3 TIMES AT NIGHT. Will not be back. Over-rated.
- 2/5
Had to change rooms because it was dirty, then the 2nd room was better but bathroom sink was still dirty.
- 4/5
Delivery to the Walgreens next to the hotel woke me up at 4:50 am. Strong smell of marijuana coming out from several rooms on our floor.
- 5/5
Clean modern room with polite and helpful staff in the lovely lobby, all for slightly more than two disappointments earlier in my trip.
- 5/5
Muy bueno

- 5/5
I still ready to get my refund back
- 3/5
Overall great location. The bed was wonderful. However, the floors were really dirty . I'm glad I had my cleaning supplies. This roof top was quite amd not many guest . The view was nice . I personally wouldn't stay at this location again .
- 5/5
Definitely gonna book here again when we are back in the area. Highly recommend
- 3/5
The room never stayed cool no matter what the settings on the unit were set at, The air conditioning and the lack of a shelf in the shower for any personal products, etc. were the only reasons the review wasn’t better.
- 4/5
The room was really nice and comfortable and clean. The only downside was the smell of Indian food throughout the hotel, luckily not in our room though.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room cleaning service is not provided until the fourth day of stay. And they didn’t change the dirty bed sheet during room cleaning.
- 4/5
Room wasn't cleaned to my expectations when i checked in.
- 5/5
Perfect!
- 5/5
La chambre était spacieuse, propre, la literie était excellente. Il manque un coffre fort dans la chambre et un micro-ondes à chaques étages serait l'idéal. Je recommande l'hôtel et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.
- 5/5
It was good. The bedding was comfortable, and the Indian restaurant was delicious, so it was convenient. It was so nice not to receive resort fees because there was no resort. It's the best price ever
- 5/5
Everything was great!! Clean rooms. Parking was not my favorite due to the rooftop hotel, we had to park across the street at night.
- 1/5
Reservation was cancelled the night before my check in, was not notified until arriving day of the check in. I selected the option to “pay at property at check in” yet they tried to charge the old card I had on file 1 day prior. I was NOT notified regarding anything as they stated Expedia should’ve reached out and then their hotel which no call no email from NEITHER. THEY tried to blame Expedia.. spoke to Expedia who confirmed my reservation was still active then switched saying they had no room available. I was told that the can not accommodate me and that they were then “sold out” of room.s. Thank god for Westgate resort or I would’ve been STRANDED.
- 5/5
I have to say that Cambria will definitely be my travel go to hotel if there is one available wherever I travel to it was very clean. I felt safe and it had the basic amenities if you are not looking for a themed resort and you want a place to go Lay your head down it and relax while you’re in town playing tourist or doing it up. This is definitely the place to go.
- 3/5
The room itself was large and clean. There was no housekeeping service until the 3rd day of our stay which was when we checked out. They do provide fresh towels if you request them. However, there were no places to put my clothes except the closet that had limited hangers. I had to use the 2nd bed to place my clothes and other items. I should have researched what the Art Deco room was going to be like.
- 2/5
My stay wasn’t bad but I was definitely a but deceived from the pictures. The rooms aren’t spacious at all. Also, you have to put your key card into a pocket in the wall in order to have lights in the bathrooms which I found very weird. The air temperature kept changing in the room and also the smell of food from the lobby roams around every floor. The smell is very strong. This is not a hotel to stay for multiple days with a family.
- 5/5
Nice hotel! Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed and nice bedding. Clean bathroom, you do have to request for an iron. Great location and amazing roof top. Two restaurants in the hotel, pool table, coffee bar is was great. I will definitely be back!
- 5/5
The hotel was extremely clean , so pretty inside and outside . And the nightshift front desk lady was so nice . I think her name is shea , so nice and welcoming .
- 5/5
Awesome Hotel. Will definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Great stay will be back
- 1/5
Terrible customer service
- 1/5
Room was disgustingly dirty and smelt like mold/mildew. Stains found on towels and sheets as well as the chair in the room. I wouldn’t book here. I checked in and checked out the same day.
- 5/5
The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and so nice to use. Parking is simple. The pool and the rooftop view is gorgeous. The absolute place to stay.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and helpful! And the room was so clean and so nice- very modern.
- 5/5
- 3/5
Looks better in pictures. A little dirty
- 2/5
Booked a king non-accessible and at check in was given 2 queen bee accessible room near roof top bar. Music was loud late into the early morning. The hotel smelled in general even up to the 6th floor due to Indian restaurant in the lobby. Poor ventilation. Very limited parking. Will not be booking here again.
- 1/5
First of all they did the old bait and switch. I booked a room that clearly stated balcony on the top floor for a king size room. When I arrived I got a king size room with no balcony. The entire hotel smells like curry heavily. Can’t escape the smell no matter where you are in the hotel. Staff is rude and unwilling to help with the room I actually booked. Wouldn’t Sta there again if you paid me. We ended up checking out early and going to Portofino Bay Resort. Didn’t even care about losing the money. Because of course once they checked me in they couldn’t cancel smh. Meanwhile I wasn’t told about the room not having a balcony. So again bait and switch, then it’s we can’t cancel because we already checked you in. Scumbags! Don’t trust these people. And if it wasn’t clear already, the hotel stinks everywhere you go. Had curry smell stuck in my nostrils for days. NEVER AGAIN.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was wonderful, lots of space and very clean!
- 4/5
Stores are located near hotel within walking distance. Great place there is a string scent of curry in the air due to the restaurant.. but I will be booking again.
- 4/5
Il n'y as pas de service petit déjeuné style oeuf bacon...a part un café et des croissant..
- 4/5
Good and friendly staff, expensive coffee and need to go near cashier to warm up food. No vegeterian no eggs food found in cafe . Would appreciate if there are microwave on each floor cmon Hotel just needs 7 of them to get 5 start review rest all is perfect
- 4/5
Everything was clean, the text messaging was great for any needs and very close to ammenities.
- 1/5
Night club in hotel. Lobby not family friendly at night. Indian food aroma through out hotel
- 4/5
Courteous staff. Clean room. Nice shower .
- 2/5
This hotel is not what it looks like on the website. The rooms are very small, the rooftop pool had trash floating in it. The hotel itself was not very clean nor were the elevators. In general a very disappointing experience and we would not go back.
- 4/5
Great stuff.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and kind
- 5/5
Beautiful room! I’ll be back soon.
- 2/5
Top floor very nice but the tiles all lift when you walk and railings were wobbly would never have a child up there
- 5/5
Spotless room , clean hotel good stafg easy parking
- 4/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 2/5
The cleaning service was EXTREMELY poor, they only cleaned our room 2 times, didn't take out the garbage, the shower was full of hairs when we arrived. Definitely will not return
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay
- 1/5
The hotel lobby smelled like food and was a horrible thing to walk into- the room was dirty - specially bathroom
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay!
- 3/5
The bad: There is a strong smell from the restaurant located in the lobby that affects the lobby and elevators They only service the room every 3 days The parking lot is too small for the size of the hotel, when full you have to park at a different parking lot close to tbe hotel (walking distance)
- 3/5
Nothing wrong but i will not come back! The smell, the vibe made me felt uncomfortable
- 5/5
Check-in was easy and room was very comfortable.
- 4/5
Curry smell the moment you step in the elevator
- 4/5
The hotel has a weird parking situation because they don’t have enough space so people would have to park at a shopping center. Other than that it was fine
- 2/5
~ No iron in the room ~ Only 1 elevator worked ~ No cream at the coffee stand ~ Power operated my the room key ~ Room was not cleaned once in our 3 night stay. Minor inconveniences would deter me from staying here again…
- 1/5
There were no parking spots and we had to park on the other side of the street every day because the of the parking being so small, and yesterday someone went to the rooms to clean them when we had the privacy sign in both doors and we found our things in different places from the ones we left them and there was a jewelry box closed and we found it open and without one of my rings that was there . Honestly the experience was not pleasant at all.
- 2/5
Our whole 4th floor smelled like sewer and into the room since day 1. I send FD a message and i got no response. They have a club on the 6th floor and the traffic at night w the Valet is crazy. Also, the whole first floor and lobby smell like curry due to the Indian restaurant in the hotel.
- 4/5
Upon arrival, the room had a slightly outdated scent compared to the photos online, but the balcony room itself was very clean. I would rate it about an 8 out of 10. The views were wonderful and truly added to the overall experience. Wiping down the counters and cabinets in the room would have made it feel extra clean and more refreshed. The staff was one of the best parts of the stay. Everyone was kind, courteous, very helpful, and always available. Housekeeping came whenever requested, which made the stay comfortable and stress free. Overall, it was a great vacation experience. The rooftop food and drinks were amazing. The bartender was beautiful, welcoming, and an excellent hostess who really elevated the rooftop atmosphere. The rooftop pool was very cold since it is not heated, but it was still beautiful and enjoyable. The location was excellent and close to everything. Parking was limited, so I had to drive around the lot several times before finding a spot, but it was manageable. The mini breakfast nook was not to my liking. The croissant and coffee did not meet my expectations, even after asking for their best iced coffee option. This was a small drawback compared to the rest of the stay. We ordered the lamb chops from the rooftop Kala restaurant twice, and they were absolutely great. There was some wear and tear in the hallways, including what appeared to be paint on the floors. were surprisingly quick, which was a nice touch. Overall, enjoyed ourselves!
- 2/5
Quilt has hole and toilet cover was to wiggly. Smell horrible.
- 2/5
We stayed there because of the shuttle service to universal and for the pool. The shuttle service only ran at 8:45am and 6:00pm which did not work for us so we had to get an uber anyways and the pool closed at 6:00pm so we did not go swimming.
- 3/5
Room was ok I was requesting a room with balcony I didn’t get also housekeeper need to be more welcoming
- 4/5
Property was really clean and close to the parks.
- 3/5
Room was spacious,
- 5/5
Son los mejores
- 2/5
Beware this property cares more about the restaurant then the look and cleanliness of the property. The property looks like they rried to half do renovations and decided to stop. The indian restaurant was good, but the restaurant seems to be the best thing about the hotel. You will have a hard time finding parking due to the amount of people waiting on the restaurant. There was no iron or ironing board. There was a previous guest hat and clothes left under the chair. It smelled like sewage on the 4th floor. There was only one elevator working. There was also a a whole ladder on the stairway laying on the steps. Overall if your looking for something cheap and half clean this should be your option.
- 1/5
i'm booked my hotel stay through a third-party. Got a call about 40 minutes before check-in saying that they were not going to be able to accommodate me. I am now still having issues to try to cancel through that third-party. I hope I'm not being charged from somewhere I was not able to stay supposedly they have no room rooms left.
- 4/5
Todo Bien exepto, que todavía no me an reembolsado los $100.00 de Fianza
- 2/5

- 5/5
All good
- 5/5

- 5/5
The room was beautiful. Everything so clean, the restaurant was great. The rooftop pool was breathtaking.
- 1/5
Room was nasty. Busted fouset
- 5/5
Super cool and very well executed
- 5/5
Room are clean ,lobby ,and building
- 3/5
No breakfast and the HVAC in the room was terrible and kept us awake most of the night
- 1/5
I asked by phone for a pair of glasses to room service, they told me that they do not have any glasses, that I need to go in person to ask for them to the near restaurant, I went to the rooftop restaurant to ask for glasses they denied to me because they told me that they are separate from hotel operations. Do not pay more for room at high floors, they are very similar to lower floors room. Rooms are clean and housekeeping is good but front desk personal is not friendly and ruined all the experience. I came to this hotel before and I returned because was very good, now you notice the difference. I will stop to recommend it. Location and installations are perfect, service and care for the guest are not.
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed my stay! The bed was super comfy and the view from the rooftop bar was amazing. The hotel is close to Universal and there are plenty of food options within walking distance. I would definitely come back!
- 2/5
The pictures do not match in person, the rooms are very outdated. Theres an old mildew smell and the room is constantly catching humidity even with the ac on. I was charged for the first night days before my arrival which was never disclosed to me. Should not be allowed you cannot take money out of peoples account if the booking was pay at stay . You dont know what people have going on with their money. Ridiculous! We were told stuttles would takes us to Universal Studios but there were none the hotel booked us a rde the dirver did not speak english and was not going to take us to the right place so he canceled and the hotel said they could not book us another one. So we had to pay to get to the parks oursleves when one of the reasons I stayd here was for the shuttles.
- 5/5
Nice room.
- 3/5
With that being said stay away from this property Tried charging me for earlier stays, even tried to charge for a second car. I will never get this hotel again even if its half price. Also pizza couldnt even get delivered in my room. Expedia needs to get this hotel out of their roster asap.
- 3/5
Noone came to clean the room, i texted the number requesting bath towels and nothing was ever brought up. The girls in the front were very sweet though
- 3/5
The bedding seemed clean from an eye view, the bathroom was terrible. Toilet and shower dirty.
- 5/5
Clean room, kind staff, beautiful amenities
- 5/5
The room was spotless, everything looks nice, love the bathroom.
- 5/5
Roof top was Excellent
- 2/5
I asked the room cleaning maids TWICE to clean the room on two different occasions that I met them on my floors hallway and explained to them the issue and still they didnt make up my room! The hotel in general is well kept but the staff services are HORRIBLE
- 2/5
The smell of food in the lobby is realy bad, the room servise before 3 night stay is not good.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms
- 2/5
No room service on a 4 day trip...There was literally poop left in the hallway (maybe animal) of the 2nd floor...Room had a sewage odor from the running water so when brushing teeth, taking shower, it reaks...and when I spoke with front desk and housekeeping, they said they would at least spray air freshener but that did not happen. Parking gets filled fast so you have to park down the street and depending on which lot, you have to move it by a certain time the next mooring. There is an Indian restaurant located in the lobby. It smells nice at night but first thing in the am there is a strong curry presence that is not that pleasant.
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean rooms, nice Mediterranean cuisine.
- 1/5
The smell from Indian restaurant all over and the rooms outdated. Also parking lot is a joke!
- 5/5
Excellent rooms, upgraded to balcony..!!
- 5/5
Clean rooms & housekeeping
- 4/5

- 5/5
Parking for hotel guests should be prioritized
- 1/5
Not good
- 5/5
Good service and amazing staff.
- 5/5
Love the staff will be back thank you for the great service thank you
- 3/5
Strong smell in the lobby daily coming from the restaurant, had my allergies overloaded. Hotel was okay, no comparison to the reviews that gave a 4 star rating, no what I expected, friendly staff be overall maybe a 2 star. Nothing like the pictures or reviews
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 5/5
Staff and room were very nice and accommodating!
- 5/5
I loved it
- 1/5
Hotel smelled really bad and roof top bar is open till 2 am so you hear the músic and noise on the roof till it closes.
- 1/5
I called to have my room changed and that toilet was not working. I wish to pursue a refund
- 2/5
Definitely not staying there ever again.
- 3/5
The stay at the Cambria was wonderful as far as staff communication & the cleanliness of the hotel & rooms. Everyone was extremely nice & helpful. The parking was a big issue. The lot is extremely small. They have a really nice rooftop restaurant & pool that’s open to the public. Saturday night we had to park all the way down the street farther way from the hotel. After walking in Epic Universal from 10am to 9pm it was brutal. Then the website says breakfast but really there’s no breakfast or room service of any kind. They have 2 restaurants on site. They have a coffee bar that does coffee & muffins but that’s it. We were expecting a real breakfast cafe inside. Then there was no microwave to warm up food. Thank Goodness for the iHop down the street within walking distance. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants as it is near the corner of Universal & International Drive. I was just really disappointed with no breakfast & the parking on a day I’m visiting a park. It was inconvenient. I gave it overall 3 staffs but it’s not a reflection on the staff, but they way the built a hotel with such a small parking lot & they got two restaurants but don’t offer continental breakfast for customers. If you a looking for a place that’s close to Universal Studios & Epic Universal & don’t mind these two issues the price is right on this place.
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-quality experience. I will definitely be returning!
- 4/5
The service was very good, people were very friendly. The parking was horrendous and just a mess. There were no available spots for guests because people were coming to the resturants. Also the air conditioner didn't seem to work very well and was very loud and kept turning on and off every few minutes which made it hard to sleep.
- 3/5
The room was really great the lobby was great but the hallway uffff there was a super strong odor of weed that my goodness gracious it was strong at checking and probably stronger at check out. Regardless i would stay again and recommend the hotel.
- 4/5
Excellent Indian restaurant. Close to everything.
- 5/5
Very amazing place, clean rooms, the vibes were amazing would book again
- 5/5
Very clean hotel, great staff and amenities, too!
- 4/5
Hotel was clean, rooftop pool with bar was a plus.
- 5/5
Convenient, free shuttle, clean. Friendly!
- 1/5
Bathroom was dirty and towels had stains on them when house keeping brung them to the room.
- 5/5
Great rooftop bar and restaurant
- 5/5
N
- 4/5
No room cleaing and no coffe or towels on day 2, some smell of Indian food in the lobby due to the restaurant. Exept from that a great hotel.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay very much. Very Quiet and clean non-carpeted room. Highly recommend
- 2/5
I did not like that you had to call to request everything. They did not clean our room once while we were there for our 3 night stay, we had to call for towels and they only brought us two towels, the coffee machine leaked water all over the place, the shower head was broken, the entire hotel had a strong curry smell, etc.
- 5/5
Everything is fine me. Only issue is that there's music thumping from the 6th floor and we had to get up at 4am for a flight.
- 4/5
Had a good experience staying at Cambria Hotel. Staff was accommodating. Lobby, room, and bathroom all looked nice. Was a good driving distance to universal parks. Housekeeping/room attendant service could’ve been a lot better. Overall, good hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Not sure about breakfast we didnt have it
- 3/5
I didn’t order breakfast — had no free breakfast, and the prices for paid items was astronomical.
- 1/5
Hotel extremamente fedorento, um restaurante no hall que deixa desde as 7h da manha fedendo curry, repolho. Inadmissíveis check in as 4pm e check out as 11am. Nao volto e nao recomrndo
- 3/5
But Parking is an inconvenience, and room walls are too thin and you can hear everything and everyone. The amenities, food, and entertainment this hotel offers were great! But for overall value, a family coming to the parks nearby, for big families this hotel is not for you. For groups over 4, other hotels would be more beneficial.
- 5/5
I will be staying again
- 5/5
Really nice and quiet.
- 4/5
Very nice and clean. Staff are very helpful.
- 5/5
I believe her name is Maria that checked us in and she was really courteous and smiling throughout the interaction..kudos to her!!! Room was nice and comfy. I loved how the bathroom has full sized bottle shampoo/conditioner/body wash available. Overall, hotel is super clean starting from the parking lot to the lobby to your room. I will be staying here again.
- 4/5
Rymligt rum. Bekväma sängar. Trevlig men högljudd takterrass.
- 3/5
Room was in good condition but I wasn't able to use the pool as it was being fixed on part of my time there also I was 20m min waiting on the clerk to tell me I didn't need to check out.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. The lobby area was very comfortable and a good place to hang out. Rooms were clean bathroom had a rainshower stall shower. Nice little clean gym. Id go back
- 3/5
I’ve stayed there prior and never had an issue, was disappointed. On check out day a maid knocked on the door at 10 AM, I yelled hello, and she immediately opened the door. She was on the phone so must have not heard me but checkout is 11 AM

Very good

The Whole Atmosphere of The Cambria Universal Blvd is very calming and welcoming.
- 3/5
The hotel is satisfactory; however, guest parking is limited, requiring alternative arrangements. I was also disappointed that room cleaning services were only provided on one of the four days of my stay.
- 4/5
Everything was fantastic but there were many hairs in the bed.
- 4/5
My only complaint is parking.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel :) comfy beds too!
- 5/5
The rooms were very tidy and clean. The staff were also very helpful and courteous.
- 1/5
Had to show confirmation even then got a lot of push back !! Took 30 minutes before we finally received keycard to the room. Complained about it being a Expedia reservation . Very unfriendly . Also made a comment why we were only staying there for one evening ?!! Will never stay there again !
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, easy to get to and centric.
- 5/5
Came for my girlfriend’s birthday. Had an excellent trip. Parking was okay but finding it early is a must; when we didn’t find options, we were given alternatives. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped make my girlfriend’s birthday special. The only negative was that we found a small roach in our room. Other than that, this hotel was a great stay and we look forward to returning
- 5/5
The hotel itself was beautiful but the smell had me sick to my stomach..I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t enjoy the pool because you have patrons sitting right at the poolside staring while they were eating.. there were no lounge chair and it was too crowded
- 3/5
We had to switch was because of the toilet and no hot water
- 5/5
Amina Ana maria were great at the desk. Very helpful and pleasant.
- 4/5
Very convenient to universal and pretty clean! Hotel was a little loud for us but overall would stay again. Staff was very nice
- 3/5
Pretty hotel and pool but some inconveniences such as needing your room key to use lights. The room also would feel kind of damp from the humidity even though air was on, not sure how to navigate that but I’m at another hotel around here now and don’t have that issue. Other than those 2 things, it was a nice place to stay with nice restaurants inside and inexpensive!
- 1/5
Limited parking so if coming in late get prepared to park outside hotel parking lot.
- 5/5
Great indian food in the restaurant

Staff was nice
- 3/5
The staff was friendly. However, I expected more for room that booked. I requested to change rooms due to the door having issues and the key sensor was broken. In the new room there were stains on the furniture, the shower did not have a place to put hygiene products, there were areas in the room that looked unfinished, the mini fridge did not work (food I had spoiled) and there was hair on bedding. I requested the bedding to be changed. Housekeeping changed the bedding. However the way it was done raised a level of concern. The bedding was placed on the furniture while changing. That I did not like. The roof top view was facing the highway, not much scenery. The lobby area was nice. The elevators were extremely slow as well. The hotel was in a convenient location for dining and shopping. Overall, I expected more of a luxury experience based on the pictures provided. I did not like that I not only had to pay for my stay in its entirety when I checked in as well as a deposit fee. Given the things that were wrong with my room, a courtesy discount was not offered. Not sure that I would patronize again.
- 2/5
Highly disappointed with my stay for several reasons. Starting with the fact there were several hairs in the shower prior to our usage which made me unsure if the bathroom had been thoroughly cleaned. Housekeeping never came to our rooms to at least make up the bed which forced us to consistently have to call down for new towels each day. Lastly, we were told we weren’t able to upgrade our room and our only option was to have a handicapped room due to us getting the room at a discounted rate even though neither one of us is handicapped. For this to be a stay for my birthday I expected better.
- 5/5
This place is absolutely great. Our first time here and we'll definitely be back. Excellent, friendly, wonderful staff. Beautiful hotel with a fantastic rooftop restaurant and an incredible view.
- 4/5
Super clean, everyone was nice, best place to stay for the price, 5 min drive to Universal Studio.

Not much nearby and it was an expensive hotel for how weird it smelled and our room wasn’t clean when we got there and the fridge was not working. They also didn’t provide room service so they say to message them for it and we came home to no towels after they said they’d bring some. Women who checked us in was rude and put our bags in the office and didn’t follow the procedure so the man couldn’t find out bags when we were going to our room. She didn’t give us a bag tag or put it in the secure holding room it was in an open office anyone could see.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing: Health & Safety: While waiting for our room, staff sprayed a strong insecticide directly next to us without warning. My family and I immediately started coughing—it was so bad we had to rush outside. Only afterward did someone say “sorry.” Unsafe and unprofessional. Customer Service: Many interactions felt dismissive, especially with the female manager. It even felt like we were being racially profiled given the cold responses to our questions. We also witnessed management speaking rudely to a young Black employee. Communication: We weren’t told about the shuttle until we saw signs the next day—after visiting the park. We also weren’t informed about an event blocking the entrance, making it uncomfortable to walk through. Room & Housekeeping: The room smelled like dirty mop water. The shower was poorly cleaned, towels took 3 hours and 2 calls, and one had holes. Amenities: An iron/board also took 3 hours and 2 follow-ups.

Great place to stay
- 5/5
Roof top is great.staff top notch.food excellent. I keep coming back.
- 5/5
Great as always, love this place!! Rooftop with great food, another great Indian restaurant on ground floor! Only thing I'll recommend you, if you going out or planning on getting there late, parking spot is a little complicated!! Choose walk or rideshare
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Property was nice. The food smell from the restaurant permeated the entire hotel.
- 2/5
Had we known the rooftop was a club, and not as advertised (Mediterranean Restaurant) we wouldn’t have booked. We splurged and got a balcony room with upgrades and had a sticky and slimy floor in our room, the bathroom sink was falling off the wall, the bathroom itself was dirty, we also had no hot water (cold showers only) I recommend if you do stay here you bring your own water otherwise you’d be forced to paying eight dollars for a bottle of water just to drink
- 4/5
Hotel lobby is beautiful, the room are OK, they have a humid smell in them, the bed were comfortable. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Rooftop pool love it
- 4/5
Nice hotel close to universal studio. Have many dining options within walking distance
- 3/5
That said, there are a few drawbacks. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, the gym is very small, and the pool area lacks chairs, which makes it less comfortable to use. In my room, the shower curtain was missing, though staff did come to install it after I asked. I was also placed in a handicap-accessible room where the bathroom light stayed on for ten minutes after leaving — not ideal, especially at night. Overall, the convenience of the location and the restaurant options are the highlights, but the amenities and room setup could be improved.
- 5/5
Adam was a real cool dude. The stay and everything was amazing. I’ll surely see you all again real soon!! Thank you!
- 2/5
The property was ok and staff was ok as well No rudeness in staff…. I was only there for 1 1/2 hours and had an emergency and had to leave and I asked for a refund and they stated no because of policy and procedures…. Hadn’t unpacked or touched anything in the room except the TV remote and they still stated we can’t even give partial refund…. No one expects emergencies at any given time but so happened I had one and they didn’t accommodate me so I will not be going back there again
- 5/5
It was fine.
- 3/5
It was nice, the room was really nice but the staff was rude and parking was limited
- 5/5
Great service
- 3/5
I didn’t like that the tv wasn’t up to date so no Netflix just cable an No ironing or microwave in the room as well as response through the text was late. I liked the bathroom had Bluetooth speakers built in

Its so clean, new, and modern.

Great location
- 5/5
Aside from someone walking in our room while we were sleeping an 12:00 am
- 5/5
Very clean inside, surrounding area isn’t the worst but close to Universal. Rooms were very clean and presentable, would stay again.
- 4/5
Fun vibe, beds are super comfy. Overall it was nice. The only issue or concern was the overflow parking and the road. Many ppl kept driving the wrong way. But not the hotels fault. The hotel service was great overall. 😊❤️
- 5/5
Amazing experience all around. Excellent location close to Universal Parks and outlets. The rooftop pool is a gem. We will def book again.
- 5/5
Everything was great to the room and the onsite restaurant. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The staff super kindness Easy to make check in and check out I really loved The pool on roof top very nice
- 3/5
The hotel is fine but not great. There was an issue at check in because the cc I booked with is virtual. I had to pay with a different card but the first night was already charged to the original card and the whole balance had to be charged together, plus a $100 security deposit. I asked to have the name changed on the second room we had booked, we asked for extra towels (2 bath towels in a room that sleeps 4) those things were never done. Housekeeping is every third day but coffee service has 2 cups and 2 coffee pods. The rooms were very humid, floors were always damp and towels didn’t dry.Parking at the hotel is sparse, but you can walk to Universal or it’s a short drive.
- 5/5
I would stay here again
- 3/5
Very nice hotel, smelled a little funky. Room was very nice and updated.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean and updated. The restaurant/bar staff were very attentive and pleasant
- 5/5
First time staying here and absolutely loved it. I was there for vacation and work, I will definitely be coming back soon.
- 5/5
Every thing was excellent
- 4/5
My stay was pleasant. There’s a weird smell when you get off the elevator on the fourth floor. Other than that, everything was good!
- 5/5
the parking was the only issue as it was small. luckily we were able to find parking but it was a close call to not knowing where to park after coming back after a long day.
- 5/5
Food was good along with services.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is ok, you can walk to some things, but there are way better options in orlando.
- 1/5
Check in took a long time. Didn’t have parking so we had to park far at a restaurant & had to walk alone at night (woman with 2 daughters. The room was much smaller than expected & didn’t feel clean. Bathroom had rust and grime in creases. We didn’t have enough towels even tho the reservation was for 4 guests. I called down to get some brought up and was told they were out of towels and could only give me pool towels but I would need to go down myself. They accommodate people not staying at hotel for the rooftop bar/pool. They had valet services and hotel guests do not. Would never stay here again.

Very nice and clean
- 5/5
It was good experience.
- 5/5
The pool offered breathtaking panoramic views of the city, creating the perfect backdrop for both daytime lounging and evening relaxation. It was well-maintained, with plenty of comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooftop bar and dining area were equally impressive. The ambiance was upscale yet relaxed, and the food and drinks exceeded expectations. Whether you’re enjoying a craft cocktail at sunset or starting your day with a rooftop breakfast, the setting truly enhances the experience. My room was clean, stylish, and quiet, with all the modern comforts I needed. Between the thoughtful service, incredible rooftop amenities, and overall attention to detail, this hotel easily became one of my favorites. Highly recommended — I will absolutely be returning!

I had to check out the hotel early to return to Dallas. I checked out at 2:30AM but was charged for additional days.
- 5/5
This hotel is great! Our room was very clean and the whole staff was friendly and professional!
- 4/5
I was disappointed to learn that the hotel could not accommodate a 12:00 PM checkout, especially given that my work hours are typically at night. That extra hour is often essential for me to rest and prepare before departure. While I understand that policies may vary, some flexibility would have been greatly appreciated in this situation.
- 4/5
We had only 1 issue/delay when checking in but it was not a big deal. The location is very convenient. There is some odor caused by the Indian restaurant in the main lobby but it was not a problem for us. Overall, a good stay for the price.
- 4/5
Best part was the rooftop pool and bar. 21 and up. Loved that.
- 3/5
I chose this hotel because it was newer. I guess new is not always better. First of all the parking lot is congested, and the overflow parking lot is not convenient to the hotel. Secondly, if you do not like the smell of international foods you should not choose this hotel. The smell is in the halls and entire common areas. When I visited the rooftop hookah was the "vibe" if you like that. The seating was limited and did not reflect a classy look as pictured in the link. Lastly, the air condition is a wall unit. The unit cuts off automatically through the night and re-starts with water sounds. The bathroom is small and the lighting is dark for a makeup routine. The plus side of the hotel is that it is oninternational drive if you plan to shop.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Bathroom was a little small for me but I could get done what needed to be done without issues. Loved the rooftop pool and nice gym to keep up with my need for working out.
- 3/5
Staff doesn't follow up with request. Stayed Sunday through Friday, room wasn't cleaned until Thursday. Was told when I arrived that room would be cleaned on third day, it wasn't. I requested towels and garbage pick up at around 9pm on Wednesday and it wasn't handled until Thursday at around noon. Other than that, everyone was nice. The food at the roof top bar was good. The pool water was very cold and the pool was clean. Stayed on the 6th floor so we didn't smell the food from downstairs, but you definitely smell it on the first two floors. The fitness center was nice with cardio machines and there were towels and cold water available. The location is a twenty minute walk to Universal or $6 Uber ride. There's a Walgreens and KFC within a two minute walk and a very nice Mexican restaurant across the street that's pretty tasty with good drinks. If the hotel can clean and refresh daily, I would stay again. There are a lot of pluses but not picking up garbage and refreshing daily is a major no for me
- 1/5
Worst hotel I’ve ever been too, shower was dirty, AC does not work properly, false advertisements on the room, air vents in the bathroom detached, lobby and rooftop only thing nice about the place, don’t go here seriously better off at a Hilton hotel even holiday inn at this point. Seriously don’t go. I’m so serious don’t.
- 5/5
Good

Pool closes at 6pm, rooftop area is not part of the hotel. You must make reservations to dine there. After 7pm to turn into the parking lot of hotel is a wait of approximately 15 mins due to valet getting cars n ppl waiting to get valet service for roof top lounge. I had a cistor was handicap and he could not park his car in handicap area and front desk would not give me a pass for him for a few hours. The room requires you stick your room key in wall so lights can turn on. Will never stay here again
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing .. two really good restaurants
- 4/5
The purpose of our stay was to be close to Universal Studios and it was about a 20 min walk which was great for us. Lots of restaurants around which was convenient as well. My kids weren't fond of the strong food smell upon entry but you are fine in your rooms. They didn't service our room upon 3 days which was hard for garbage and towels. They did bring us more when we called down. Inside was very clean. I liked the rooms didn't have carpet but tile. Overall good short term stay.
- 5/5
Clean and nice view
- 3/5
The hotel has a very strong smell that is just overwhelming once you enter the hotel. This is due to an Indian restaurant and unfortunately, the experience could had been much better. It was very clean but the smell is extremely unpleasant.

Very comfortable, will stay there again if I am heading back to Orlando

After having a really bad experience at the JW Marriott Grand Lakes in Orlando this was a breath of fresh air. Staff we polite, rooms were clean and the roof top restaurant and bar is stunning. Great place!

Was told on the website I would not be charged except in person and I wasn’t able to make it and canceled yet still have been charged .. would like my 132$ refunded pls since I never even showed up that’s why I elected the pay later option should have never gave my card info ….

Ready to book again!

Good location close to the universal water park we were going to, Volcano Bay. Comfortable stay.
- 5/5
Great place to visit
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at the Cambria Hotel while celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Adam was especially kind and sweet from the moment we checked in—truly a special person. The hotel’s location is incredible, with quick access to Universal and many other great places in the area.
- 5/5
Beds were extremely comfortable, A/C worked perfectly and the hotel has a text service where you can ask for anything you need by texting them. Gym also has everything you need for a great workout. I had to find a room in a pinch and this was one of the most affordable ones in the area. If you're headed to Disney or Universal, highly recommend this spot.

Great experience.

Great place to stay, will be coming back
- 4/5
Everything was okay, not too bad

The only thing I would suggest would be to make an actual bathroom sink that you could put your toiletries on.
- 5/5
Hotel had everything I needed. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again!
