    Was in a good location, the wall in the shower had a huge crack along it. Look like the screwed a soap dish to the wall and it cracked all the way across from there.

    Bed was comfortable and it was quiet There was a gap beside the sink area that had a used bottle and a rubber band left in the corner. Inside the bathroom door was dirty. The freezer was frosted up. The elevator could only be operated by staff and the desk person had to go do it every time up or down as we were on the third floor. They said it had been messed up for a year or so off and on. It was hard to get to off the interstate. There were 2 la quintas there right by each other. (Strange) the other one where the elevator did work was $35 more. No senior or any other discounts for either. I usually find these good to stay. Disappointed.

    I enjoyed my stay. The only issue was that the elevator didn't work. An employee would ride the elevator up with you if you needed to use it, but I had two teen boys and two small dogs. One of my dogs is not a fan of strangers, so we had to use the stairs.

    Breakfast was ok. Staff was helpful. Room was clean but rug felt sticky. Gym was nice but small. AC was ok but will never shut off like it never got to the desired temperature.

    Issues with elevator- only used in manuel mode… had to wait on staff to take you up and down… we were on the third floor and faster and easier to take stairs. Also would have like know about pet fee - website states $25 night but if more than one night it’s $75.

    Everything went well for the stay , one huge thing that I was very appreciative of was that I was running late for check out due to my job . So I called the hotel and told them that and with out any question the staff member told me that it was ok and it was no problem whatsoever. So for that I appreciated that very much

    There was a large (what looked like ketchup) stain on the wall, the sheets and towels were very dingy, there were stains and discoloration around the shower/tub, the elevator was out to service. I will not stay here again.

    Room and bathroom was dirty. Had to move into 3 different rooms due to cracks in the showers and water leaking into bedroom. Dirty walls and chairs.     While trying to check in there were customers waiting in line 5 deep at approximately 7:30 PM. After checking in I was informed the elevators didn’t work. I had a third floor room. The only person that appeared to be own staff was tied up, checking in other customers so getting up to the room in a timely manner was not possible. I had to take the stairs. The stairwell at the south east corner of the building is filthy. When going to breakfast the next morning I went to get orange juice and the button didn’t work. I tried the apple juice and the button didn’t work. The incident was reported to the individual apparently responsible for serving breakfast. The lady is very polite, but her English is so poor it’s pretty much impossible to communicate with her in English. I would think There could be somebody available that spoke the recognized language of the United States of America. The lady finally got to orange juice and apple juice containers replaced. Overall, this was a poor experience.

    There is a window that is broken and taped together you can see when you get there. The elevator is down and they said call the front desk when you’re ready for it and we’ll bring it to you.     I had previously booked a room, and called to request a top floor room away from the elevator. That accommodation was provided at check in. Upon entering the room, the toilet flusher was broken, and water kept running and running, had to call maintenance. Good thing I came prepared, to clean my own toilet and tub. The light bulb was out on one side of the bed lamp. The closet door stuck so bad, the veneer almost came off trying to open it.( it was like that already) Breakfast, was a major disappointment. 3 out of 6 days the coffee either ran out and I had to request it made, and I wound up going to McDonald’s the last 2 days for breakfast. There were flies in the bread/ bagel bin. The breakfast sausage looked undercooked and pale. Ultimately, I felt this was not how it should have been for people studying there a week. I’ve stayed at many La Quintas but I’m sad at what I paid for at this one. Also, I found out that there another new building a few hundred away, why couldn’t someone staying that long have stood in a newer building?!?! Also, the breakfast lady early in the week seemed like she didn’t want to be there, food on the counter, had to request coffee to be made?! Come on, smh

    They always take our towels and they never put us back and they never clean our room and they have a sign that said towels and bed will be done daily and when we call it was only every three days and they never take our trash and they do not have elevator so we were using the stairs. It was a horrible hotel service

    Had a great stay due to the great staff. Amanda G, and Josie were so friendly and helpful. Amanda in the evening was helpful as well. They are very patient and respectful. I was shocked to see kids using the lobby as a jungle gym, but the staff was super composed. Thank you to the ladies who made a delicious breakfast. My only suggestion would be to change the curtains in the room. They hang over the ac unit and there was no way to close the blackout curtains. I had to use binder clips due to just a thin see-through curtain up. I made it work for me, but talked to Amanda G. At the front desk and she said she would have maintenance look at it. Stellar service y'all!

    We checked into the hotel and were extremely disappointed with the condition of this establishment. It was older and needed some maintenance but overall what did it was the cleanliness of the room. Not one but 2 separate rooms. The sheets had stains which looked to be like blood as well as the mattress.

    Get rid of the air freshener, it’s toxic and unbearably disgusting. Had there been any other hotel options, I would have left and found something different and wasted the money I paid for this place. Not worth the money, stay at motel 6 and sleep better! Bathroom was gross, carpet was worse. The 400 lb person in the room above me didn’t make things any better. Everything, just gross and unpleasant

    We have stayed here several times and were satisfied with our stay. We will not be coming back again. First room they put us in was okay. However, the shower required you to climb into a bathtub and that is not safe for me. Also, the position of the closet was very awkward when you have your things on a rolling cart. (No room to manipulate clothing bags, etc.) They moved us to a room with a shower, but the room was smaller, and the closet was positioned the same as the first room, making it even more difficult to maneuver. The breakfast was poor. The whole place needs to be renovated. The stay was not comfortable, and we will not be back.

    Random guy banged on door pretending to be house keeping to complain about kids before we even got fully into room. After expressing concerns we were moved to a smaller room. When we asked for more blankets for the pull out couch the front desk never brought them up to us. Even after saying they would. If there is any other place even if a tad more expensive choose the other place. I will never stay at another la Quinta again.

    Barely slept in the very uncomfortable bed. Didn't know pillows were down, which I'm allergic to. Thankfully there was one very flat pillow that wasn't down feathers. But because of that tiny pillow my neck is still very painful. Hotel was way too cold so I was freezing any time I had to leave the room. Just not a pleasant experience unfortunately.

    Front desk service was outstanding!! Breakfast was a good selection. Room was very clean, only issue with understanding is that this is a pet friendly hotel and you could smell on the 1st floor hall by the end of the day, it had a pet smell kind of like wet dog, in the hall way, not in the room.

    Very clean property, inside and out. Rooms were very comfy, we didn’t want to get out of bed. Lovely restaurant El Sitio in same parking lot with full drinks and good food. Staff were pleasant and best of all this place is dog friendly!!!! If we are ever back in Odessa, we will stay here again!

    We arrived late evening from a long driving travel, no towels, had to ask for them and they were old and worn out. Nest morning we noticed my son’s pillow had a disgusting large brown stain on it. No blow dryer in room so went to ask for one. The attendant was rude, couldn’t provide one. When I asked for the Manager’s phone# he flung the paper at me. Did not apologize for the inconvenience or that I had to deal with long wet hair. Terrible experience.

    The entrance looks presentable, however the rooms run down. The cabinet door to mini fridge was messed up and was holding it closed with a piece of paper. The restroom in our room is in need of maintenance, sink was cracked. My wife and I were not impressed and won’t stay at this hotel again.

    Back entrance was supposed to be locked and require a card to open. It was unlocked the entire time I was there and could not even be closed all the way. Cold wind leaked through the heater/air conditioner when it wasn't running. Landscaping around the building was in terrible shape. Mattress was were so worn out that I rolled to the middle and sank down.

    This hotel feels very dated and it was not clean. Floors were dirty and hotel furnishings are visibly "well worn". No blankets on the beds or anywhere in the room, just a light coverlet that is more like a heavy sheet. The towels are small and thin. The staff seemed perfectly competent, when we could find them.

    Room entry lights didn't function. Bathroom floors were obviously not cleaned after the previous guest because there were brownish liquid stains on the floor (coffee, tea, blood?). There were no bath towels, just 2 sets of hand towels and wash cloths. Bath/shower faucet fixtures were partially detached, twisted, and parts were broken off. When I tried to turn the faucet on, no water came. I had to manipulate the faucet fixture to finally get some water to come, but there was no water pressure and the water wasn't hot. So, I had to take a luke warm shower under a dribbling shower head and then dry off with a tiny hand towel. General observation of hotel condition, lots of slap-dash repairs and maintenance work like painting the walls but being too lazy to tape off the signage and horrible caulking work. Definitely will not stay here again.
