No pool, no breakfast buffet (free or otherwise), cramped king rooms, noisy next to interstate, room in need of some maintenance…cabinet doors, bathroom floor tiles, curtains. Reserved King (Not-handicap accessible room) with full-size sink/countertop and a sofa. Not what we got, and said no others available even though I booked several days in advance.

Comfortable bed, which we could use once we moved a very heavy recliner shoved between the bed and wall! Really?? Having to move a heavy recliner so that we could actually sleep in the bed. Put it somewhere else, not blocking access to the bed!!

Parking secure, attention to cleanliness and great staff. Only one concern, I was not told about the pet fee of 75 dollars until I arrived. Since I was already there, I paid for this separately. This should be disclosed before booking.

Booking.com messed up on my previous booking/visit & at 1 am There were no other available hotels...I finally found 1 hrs away. When I told Candlewood even though it was Booking.com error not Candlewood error they upgraded me to a suite! Thank you Candlewood

The staff was nice There was multiple issues with this property. Mainly the beds are folded inward and the bath tubs make loud sounds when you get in them. The whole place is pretty dirty and it’s mainly meant for oilfield workers

Perfect place to stop from Dallas to El Paso trip. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. It was Christmas Eve so not a lot of places open, we ordered pizza and the location is so convenient, the order arrived early! Close to a QT store. My husband and I had our dog with us, they are pet friendly. My mom had her own room and said the bed was super comfy too. Highly recommend.

There were smelly dirty towels in the bathroom amd the bathroom smells horrible. Looks like someone started to clean the room and just quit. Everything is dingy. This was by far the worst room of my entire trip.

Do not stay , over charge for pets, holes in bathroom towel , ghetto falling apart , wouldn’t give a receipt, didn’t accept IHG number , uncomfortable beds , loud rooms .

I think a 75.00 pet fee is ridiculous and it was upsetting that when I booked I was not made aware of the fee. Had I asked or been informed we would not have booked this hotel. Also the property had no place to potty the dogs that wasn’t full of weeds.

I cannot say enough good about the staff here. The hotel itself was clean and in great shape. But the staff were amazing. I escaped here after being assaulted in my home. I arrived early morning before normal check-in/check-out hours. The overnight desk manager let me check in early and was so friendly and accommodating allowing me to have my name protected and not allow anyone to contact me without going through them first. They went above and beyond getting me anything I needed. Even when I needed a pick-me-up ice cream snack after spending hours in the emergency room. I felt so safe and protected there even before the police were guarding the property. My dad came without them knowing and they wouldn't let him past the desk or give my info out at all until they spoke to me even though he told them he was my dad. They called and checked on me throughout the day and asked if I needed anything to eat or anything at all. I honestly turned down the assault victim facility the OPD offered because I felt safer and more comfortable here. Needless to say, they all deserve praise and thanks for taking such great care of me. Not that I hope anyone else needs to escape as a victim, but they just treated me like family. I couldn't have asked for a better place. I wasn't sure what to expect as I was just trying to find a place that would allow my dog to be with me.

For a handicap room it was tight. The bed was about two feet from the wall on the left side...not enough for my husband's wheel chair. He has to sleep on the left side because he has only one good arm to reach for water, tissue, etc. It was problematic

Staff was excellent. Room was missing items from the kitchen that are normally there. I love to stay at Candlewoods for my extended stays, but this location needs to step up on maintenance issues. Simple fixes make a huge difference on the property.

Overall bad experience front desk was rude, and when I got to the room the restroom has red stains all around . Will never stay in this hotel again.

Went to Odessa for a family funeral. This hotel was comfortable and the staff was friendly. After an emotionally charged day it was nice to come back to a comfortable place to rest.

Aside from the front desk receptionist asking me what I needed through a wall separating her area from the front area and then only standing up only because I was checking in, it was great. I let it slide only because she was very pregnant. Lol

One of the Best stays I had in this Area. The hotel was by far the best I have stayed in. The staff was awesome. The bed and room was very comfortable. I have stayed at a few different hotels. This one takes the cake. My next stay will be here definitely!!!

When I asked the desk clerk where I would find the ice machine, he said "if you want ice you need to turn on the ice maker in your refrigerator. I did. It gave me 7 small pieces of ice. So I had to go find a convenience store to buy ice, and there is not one anywhere near. Heading back to my room I thought I would check out the breakfast area in anticipation of what I had to look forward to. NO BREAKFAST! Free coffee from an instant coffee machine, wow. And there are no restaurants nearby either. I spend 30 nights per year in this area, but won't be back here. Still suspect of the high ratings this place has received. They certainly didn't earn them.

The people at the hotel were wonderful especially Anastasia who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Unfortunately my A/C broke down after I had unpacked and was getting ready for bed so I had to be moved into another room which was very inconvenient. But the staff was great.

The room had a kitchen area that is convenient with a full-sized refrigerator. However, the built in ice maker in the freezer was not pleasing. The ice came out salty. Maybe needs a new filter. Wish there was some sort of continental breakfast. The girl checking in guests mentioned free fruit, hot cocoa and tea. They were “out” of all of those. You could buy some expensive cereal in the small grocery area they offer though. I passed on the pricey items and drank a crappy cup of coffee instead.

I was overly impressed with this hotel! A person could live in one of these suites! Not a small fridge, full size. Microwave was a large one. Staff went above and beyond to make my stay great. I will always stay here when in town

Very nice place. Didn't give us the usual "pet room" that other hotels give out. Room was clean for the most part. Good amount of outlets for charging and the wifi access was good. Service was good. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again.

Have stayed here several times in the past and always have had a good experience. The biggest factor in my satisfaction is the helpful and pleasant attitude of the employees.

Problem checking in via Hotels.com and had to secure stay with personal credit card. Room not very clean. Dust and crumbs on floor, desktop,and drawers had dirt in them. Fixtures in bathroom seemed to be loose. Pen cap on complimentary pen was chewed on by previous guest and had not been replaced.Yuck. Will not stay here again. Staybridge brand a far better option-still under construction across the parking lot.
