Location, Location, Location

Would stay here again. The only issue I ran into is that the refrigerator stopped working over night, after I bought food for the next day. I couldn't eat the food. I had maintenance go to fix the fridge but was not offered a discount or anything to compensate for the loss of the food. Eating on-site is a waste of time and money -- definitely go elsewhere to eat unless you're just grabbing pretzel bites for a snack.

Great location close to everything! Plenty of parking.

Easy beach access. Numerous shows and restaurants within walking distance. Located in North Myrtle making is much quieter than Mytrle. We will be back

Great place for the price - GREAT VALUE! we had the unfortunate event of having some shoes stolen from the pool area. Otherwise all around Pleasant experience. We plan on staying there again next year.

We checked in and went to the pool. Two hours later the guy at the front desk went into our room and looked through our things. He even called people on my husband’s phone! Then locked us out of the room and disabled our keys. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Just terrible!

I went bike week memorial day week end..bike week I have nothing negative to say room's was super clean..beds mattress and sheets extremely clean I was amazed..I will definitely stay again ..fresh clean smell when you walk lobby and rooms loved it

The vending machines were not working and the pool table was not working my floor of the room was dirty like they did not sweep or mop the floor. but other then that it was good would stay again. Loved the balcony view of the ocean. Would have been better if it did have some type of breakfast so we did not have to walk and get food

Kitchen area- microwave looked brand new and worked great, fridge was full size, in great shape and really clean.

This place was okay. Thought it would be nicer since it was a golf resort. The room we were in was average. Thought we paid for a full fridge and bigger bed and was put into something else. This condo didn’t have a full kitchen just a sink, mini fridge, and microwave. We did not care for the Murphy bed either. Would not stay here again.

We arrived and went right to the balcony and enjoyed the ocean and pool view, wonderful, woke up and the pool was draining and within a few hours they were jackhammering the pool inside. We were there for only one more night so I was unable to use the pool or the balcony due to the noise. It was a beautiful warm sunny day and no pool. Very disappointed. We went through Expedia so they could do nothing. I went through Expedia and get a small credit as compensation which I appreciated, drove to Myrtle Beach from Buffalo NY for a pool weekend and the beach view. Was not happy.

When we arrived to check in I was given my room. No one told me that my room had been downgraded until we went up to see it. When I called, they basically told me that since I booked with Expedia (3rd party) that I had to take what I could get.

I have been an annual guest for over ten years and have always enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The resort has great accommodations and amenities. Very spacious and clean. In walking distance to eateries, gift shops, and recreational facilities.

Staff was very short and not very welcoming at front desk. Maintenance was half ass from caulking and painting , it appeared a 5th grader did maintenance and the hot tub and pool were freezing with no towels

We booked the hotel due to it being oceanfront and having an indoor pool for our son. The first time we attempted to use the pool, it was locked. The front desk staff was kind enough to unlock it for us. However, the pool was missing about 1.5 feet of water and was ice cold/ it was unusable.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are showing a little age, but they were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It would be nice to have a Kerug instead of a 12-cup coffee pot. I was the only one drinking coffee and I felt like I wasted a lot of it. The towels were really small! It might be time to replace them with some regular-size bath towels. But, again, they were clean!

I have stayed here twice during shoulder season. It is so quiet and the facilities are clean. Staff is friendly and the view is stunning.

I fully recommend Hoskins up the street, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Don't let the line out the door bother you, it goes quick.

We have been staying there fir at least 9 years.We enjoy the convenience to shopping and the club. The staff is always super nice. Easy access to the beach with a restaurant rihht on sight.

I got to go see a friends room at a location just down the street and they paid several hundred less for a much nicer apartment type place with a beautiful bathroom, a full kitchen with stove, and a roomy living space that several people are comfortable sitting in. We plan to stay at the place next door or two buildings over next time so we will be more comfortable and can cook in instead of eat out. Overall OD Resort is a great location but a very poor value for the price you pay.

Will probably book directly in the future. We enjoyed the hotel arcade/game room but the air hockey and pool table are old, and took our money at one point. FYI, if you do not want a door to a connecting room in your room, you need to request that up front. The hotel is older but in great condition. It has 3 elevators and they are fast. (We were there in the off season.) We have stayed here many times over the years. The ocean front balcony and easy walk to quality restaurants keep us coming back.

We really liked the location very walkable to restaurants and bars. They need to take care of the outdoor pool and hot tub better. We were there for 5 days and they never once cleaned it.

I stayed here few times now once when it is almost new . I recommend a more powerful lazy river some weights and a bench what you have is very basic and towels in the pool area . I have traveled the world and never went somewhere where you didn’t have easy access to towels .at a pool .

The property is great and clean, the only part unavailable was the attached bar/club, it was closed. Would be nice to have had a place on site to listen to some music and have a drink. Attached restaurant was nice. There was a black biting fly problem one day. I asked the front desk if they could spray or something and they said they were sand fleas and they could not do anything. They were NOT sand fleas. Finally said they would tell maintenance in the morning. IDK if they did or not, nor did I see anyone spray but the flies were not a problem the next day. Had a great stay at this hotel. 7th floor oceanfront view. The lazy river was great for exercising in. We used the hot tub, it was great because it wasn’t extremely hot in it. The normal outside pool felt like it was heated a little also. The housekeepers were nice, we don’t get our room cleaned everyday, but when i asked specifically for towels and toilet paper they were accommodating. Three downfalls. My husband didn’t like the air conditioner in the closet..too loud, and our bed was a bit too hard. And people that were smoking on their balconies wafted up our way the whole stay, I didn’t like that. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Hotel was excellent. My only complaint was the hotel has a fragrance throughout the lobby and elevator. I have a sinus issue with fragrance and it flared up my sinus issue.

Staff was good hotel was good for a short weekend trip.as far as the game room and arcade area with 2 vending machines if I don't go down there before 11 then u have to use other vending machines that the card reader doesn't always work. If they could lock off the pool area then accessing the arcade and vending and laundry area shouldn't be an issue staff wasn't nice to let you go down when asked

A very good hotel, just a few things I missed, a pool towel, I took mine but wherever I go there is always one, my husband missed breakfast because we had to go out to have it and he likes to have it at the hotel.

We were very happy to find the clean and comfortable hotel with an ocean view in North Myrtle Beach! It was perfect for a long weekend. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the bed covers and wonderful pillows. I wish the pool had been a little cleaner but over all it was a great place to stay.

This was our third time staying at this property for the 4th of July, and despite it being the busiest time at the beach, the staff and service always manage to keep up and deliver excellent service. Since you can't choose your bed type through Expedia, make sure you call the hotel directly in advance to request if you need a King bed, and they'll take care of you. We had an issue where our shower dispenser knob broke off, we told the front desk on our way out, and they had already fixed it by the time we came back 2 hours later. The rooms are all oceanfront, ours with an ocean view and a nicely sized living room extending to the balcony. We like that the kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator and a full-size coffee maker. We always bring our own coffee and filters so that we can leisurely drink as much coffee as we want on the balcony each morning. The location is on a busy intersection, but everything is very convenient and walkable. The hotel is a bit outdated, but well-kept and comfortable. The only downside is that the pools and hot tubs are always too full for us to use. This is a family-friendly hotel, so there will be a lot of kids running around most of the time, but everyone is pretty polite and behaved, as in not many drunk and disorderlies at this location and it's always quiet by bedtime. We'll be back next year.

It was a great ocean front resort convenient to Main Street. Loved not having to lug a day’s worth of stuff to the beach - just came back to our ocean front room anytime we wanted to. Housekeeping brought clean, dry towels each day. Staff at front desk was super friendly and helpful.

The beds are too small for two people. They offer them for two, but they are too uncomfortable. The bathtub is next to the toilet. I think it is poorly designed.

I liked the room, it was very clean. I did not like - no continental breakfast or even lobby coffee. Rooms are expensive and they dont have any options for breakfast.

Balcony had a sea view, but only from the mezzanine level - between the first or ground floor and the floor above which was not open to the lobby. Adjoining room could have been a problem because connecting door was not soundproofed. Staff friendly. Note: residents have to wear a wristband throughout stay
