I didn’t expect the hotel room to have a great kitchenette!! Plus it was walking distance to the Performing Arts Complex 🎉

Had so many wonderful amenities! Bed was so comfy. Shower pressure superb. Large fridge and a dishwasher. Carpet was a little dingy.

The room was immaculate, but the staff stood out....they were/are spectacular!! It was walking distance to the convention center, complimentary breakfast and coffee, and very nice staff. It would be nice if they had a refillable water station, I didn’t see one anywhere.

There were leaks in both the sink and shower which was not fun and it ruined some things but other than that is was clean and the breakfast was very good...the staff were friendly but i must give special mention to the woman who checked us in as she was wonderful...helpful and friendly...

I liked the holiness, cleanliness, and the "none cookie cutter" interior design. I loved the amount of light available: Many lamps and good lighting in halls Could have used charging station Missing breakfast! but that was my fault. Tanya did provide a bagel for my hunger need. Coffee was great

No one willing to clean our room for three days not even to take out trash I request three times even then they left me trash bag in the room. I stayed four day with two kids and two adults you can imagine the amount of trash I stayed with! I stayed in this location two years ago and its was clean then I’m not sure if they where short of stuff but this time was no for me!

Size of the room was great for my needs and the close proximity to N. Charleston Coliseum The fact that the AC seem to stop working at some point before I checked out on Monday 7/14/25

Close to airport, there was food options available, drink in vending machine, shuttle service, staff was very friendly and accommodating and helpful with my luggage when having to go to airport at 4am. Loved the kitchen option and divider between couch and bed for privacy. Great option for family. I just found in my room there was a noise that I kept hearing in the middle of the night, rm 401. Not sure if it was a popping sound, or like a pipe or something being hit it was repetitive and just kept me up. Maybe it was heater.

Room - spacious, clean overall, and accommodating. The linen were pretty much clean except for the pullout bed's blanket. I had to switch out for a new one, which it was no problem. I would say I did not get much sleep due to the foot traffic due being on the 1st floor, across from the storage room, and having the bed behind the lobby bathrooms and dolly storage. There was the sound of constant water flowing through the wall into our room. We really enjoyed the staff. They were courteous and professional. The mattresses were comfortable as well.

Easy checking. Roberto was a prince and got us sorted with our airport shuttle. Room is perfect for the one night stay. Also would’ve good if you were visiting the inlawa for the week.

The hotel was close to where we were going. The rooms were big and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a variety of items to choose from. They stored our luggage and that was a great help as we were traveling later in the day so we were able to take a few hours to explore. I don’t have a lot of bad things to say. The outlet in our room for coffee wasn’t working but we just moved it to an alternative location. There are plenty of outlets and charging electronics was not an issue. They offer shuttle service and unfortunately when we got in the driver was ill and they had no replacement. I assume he was still ill when we were leaving but the staff went above board to get us someone to take us to the airport. Can’t say enough great things about the staff here they are very friendly and very accommodating to the guests.

I had the unfortunate experience to stay in a room that allowed dogs. They were poop stains on the carpet, and the room smelled horrible. Although the hotel is about 1/2 mile from a large outlet mall, walking to the mall is downright unsafe. There are no crosswalks, and you have to traverse several lanes of high-speed traffic. The staff was pleasant, and the shuttle service was great. I would not recommend due to the horrible room I was given.

The suite that I was given was very spacious with one large room, including a bathroom, living room with a large couch, a kitchen area, fully equipped, a very large bed. Came down for a concert that we were able to walk to, which was amazing! Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was very comfortable! Would absolutely stay here again or it friends and family!

The stay was great, the workers was awesome. Only thing is that the back door did not read the key card when I try to get back in every time I have to take my puppy out to the bathroom.

The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. We were on the ground floor. We could see the light from all cars coming into parking lot even with shades all the way down. Light comes in from the top. We could not sleep. Also the was a roach in the bathroom which was unexpected.

In addition, upon arrival there was trash left at the trash can near elevator on 4th floor. Informed Jimmy of trash situation and it was cleaned up. I would stay here again, the staff are good people.

Absolutely terrible! We didn’t even get to stay one night of the 5 we booked because the hotel was “sold out”. I made the reservation several months in advance only to arrive and be told we had to go to another property for 1 night. The next day we were told that neither hotel had rooms for us so I spent the first half of our first day of vacation on the phone trying to find another hotel. The staff at Home 2 Suites was so rude about everything and basically sent us away with no regard, as if they couldn’t be bothered.

Impossible to review as the hotel overbooked and, when we arrived at 0045 (AM), we had no room. However the reception desk agent was excellent and had already booked a room for us at a nearby hotel, paid our Uber from the airport as well as paid for the cab fare to the new hotel

I liked how close it is to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center venue for concerts, etc. The room lacked hair conditioner and lotion. It was also a bit noisy in that in the morning, I heard people walking from the floor above me.

Great one night stay-over while attending a concert across the road at the North Charleston Coliseum so it’s super convenient! Staff were consistently friendly, helpful and very went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was huge and immaculately clean with fast wifi and decent channel choices in the TV. The free breakfast was good with several hot/cold options and we liked the new draft beer service in the lobby. Definitely a great option for long or short term stays. Good job H2S.

It was right across the street from the venue we were going to but there was no cross walk or light so although getting there was 2 minutes it was a dangerous 2 minutes

2- the city was doing work on the water main, so we had no flushing toilet or water pressure. The next morning, the water was brown. It would have been great to be notified of this upon checking in, or even a note under the door informing g is to run the water for 2 minutes before consumption.

We weren't able to get into the room until after 3 but we were still able to get unpacked and ready for the meet and greet with Kansas and make it to the venue on time.

Booked this property for a three night stayat $548 and had a family emergency, advised the office. Made it to the property the very next morning willing to pay for the lost night and continue with the rest of our stay. I was charged $180 for the first night and the service desk canceled the last two nights. She advised that I could book a separate reservation and the total for two nights was $778. I checked online at the same time while in the office and the price was $550 for two nights therefore I told the receptionist I will just go ahead and book online so I am not spending $1000 for three nights; she then proceeded to tell me all rooms are booked. I had to find a hotel last minute in Charleston on a volleyball tournament weekend. Ridiculous. Lost money, and was completely inconvenienced. Will not book with Hilton in Charleston ever again. Rude and disrespectful.

Great staff both at check-in and check-out as well as housekeeping staff. Room was excellent and well equipped. We stayed 2 weeks. Located near shopping areas like Tanger Outlets. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place. You just don’t want your room by the hall exit door. That was a tough thing all night with people going in and out. Definitely woke us at times in the night. But a great staff and room is awesome. Just had to mark down the comfort because of disruptive sleep. I was told to put “not near exit or elevators” in my comments when booking.

The room we stayed in was very dirty in the bathroom. The tub had pubic hair and pink slimy things around it. The tissue holder had hair and heavy dust on it. It was very nasty.

Check in was great! I don’t remember her name but the lady who checked us in was extremely nice. She chatted with us about what we had planned and we told her we were there for a concert. She said she hoped we had a great time. The next morning she was cleaning tables in the lobby and asked about our concert and wished me a good day by name (and no she wasn’t the one checking us out). She cared enough to remember that’s amazing service.

I was called twice within 5mins for a noise complaint. Said that we were jumping. No one was jumping. I walked to the bathroom and back to the bed. This resulted in us checking out. I will not be harassed. I will be expecting a refund processed tomorrow.

In town for my daughter's graduation. Chose this hotel specifically as it is right across from the Coliseum! We were so pleased with our choice.

We had a great stay. You could work on timeliness of airport pick up but all in all it was a nice stay.

The place looked nice. There was a little smell likely due to the age of the space. The noise was ridiculous! The people above us were going bonkers all night. The hotel staff was nice but even housekeeping was crazy noisy as well. It was like the floor was paper thin. Comfy beds and good amenities the place was just so noisy.

Booked a 2 queen bed suite for my family of four, which included a five-year old. Received a king bed and a sofa. Still charged for a 2 queen bed suite. Checked out the next day because of worst night my family and I had ever had while on vacation. They still charged me for the remainder of the time booked although I was totally dissatisfied. I left anyway! Thats how bad the experience was. No one could care.I would not recommend this hotel chain to anyone. Don't waste your money.
