Front desk staff were awesome!! The room was well maintained and roomy. The pool was nice but did not have towels. The breakfast was good and staff were prompt when something needed to be filled. Great experience

The staff was outstanding. Jasmine(not sure if it's spelled differently) was so sweet & professional at check-in. They texted me once I checked in to confirm that everything was fine. I requested 2 extra pillows & the staff quickly brought them up to my room. THANKS FOR MAKING MY STAY GREAT!!!

Breakfast was good, the kids always love having those waffle makers. Our only disappointment was that we checked in at 7:00 p.m. and we're told that the outdoor pool closes "at dusk" We really wanted to relax and swim in the pool after our day of traveling. Thought that it was pretty standard for pools to stay open till at least 10:00 p.m.. other than that check in was quick and smooth and the beds were super comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again

The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I had a glitch with the bathroom sink the water stopped flowing, however once I mentioned it to the staff the maintenance man fixed it promptly. Breakfast was your average free breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, red potatoes, grits, cereals, breads, pastries, juice, coffee, milk. Waffles, fruit. The outdoor pool was refreshing. There are several restaurants around the area.

Overall was pleased. Very spacious room. Beds and pillows were good. I wish they offered the liquid body wash instead of just a little bar which was disappointing cause most hotels nowadays offer all in a big bottle in the shower but at least they had the shampoo/conditioner in the big bottles in the shower. Breakfast was decent. Staff could’ve been friendlier. Pool towels had a weird neon yellow stain on quite a few of them. Nice location.

I spent extra money on a medical accessibility room with an accessibility tub for my elderly mother who has mobility issues. The "mobility" tub was a regular bathtub with a damaged/crooked bench seat in the back. When we arrived at the hotel the front desk staff was rude and dismissive. The first set of door key cards did not work so we had to go back to the front desk to get another set of key cards. The room was not clean and had a musty moldy smell. There were stains on the bed.The complimentary shampoo and conditioner bottles were completely empty. The AC unit control panel was damaged and the outside of dialing the front desk the room phone did not work at all. After several failed attempts to dial out from the room phone my mother called the front desk and asked for assistance( she was alone in the room at the time and does not have a cell phone). The front desk person was very rude to my mother, told her the problem must be with the number that she was dialing and then hung up on her. After returning to the room and finding my mother distraught. I checked the phones and determined that the issue was with the landline in the room. This was later confirmed by members of the hotel staff. I made 3 requests to have the shampoo and conditioner bottles filled and to have additional pillows delivered to the room. After 5 hours of waiting on the pillows and shampoo/conditioner, I went to the front desk and inquired about the whereabouts of our requested items. I was told by the front desk staff that they just recently ran out of pillows and they also couldn't give me shampoo and conditioner because the house keeping staff had left for the evening. It literally took 2 days and 5 separate requests to receive two extra pillows and some shampoo and conditioner. This was a terrible experience and the way my elderly, disabled mother was treated by the staff at this hotel was unacceptable and infuriating.

We were so happy. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful!!

I never got to stay. Our train was late, my card was hacked, fraud turned it off. My friend tried to pay for my room. The woman at the desk refused to accept the payment. Ended up walking across the street to the Fairfield where they were very kind and took care of my daughter and I. It was 1 am, the woman behind the desk of this hotel was useless and offered no help what so ever. Would not recommend.

Hampton Inn is always a safe bet. Clean comfortable and reasonably priced.

My 3 star review is mainly based on the day desk clerk. Having two rooms for six days, and needing an extra hour on the last day check out for time to resolve an issue on our upcoming flight, I was given a stern reply of, best we can do is a 30 minute extra. I guess having spent around $1,900 for the stay doesn't count for much appreciation. The rooms were decent, fairly clean, but showing its age.

There was a mishap with our room being cleaned before we got here but the GM and sweet girl at the front desk got the room situated quickly and offered us free snacks for our wait after a long day of driving. It was all handled with kindness and professionalism that are just part of why we choose to stay at this Hampton Inn every time we come visit our kid in the Navy.

The front desk clerk Tierra was awesome! She was very helpful and polite.

Only complaint for our stay was the noisy room air conditioning unit. Very loud when the compressor kicked on. However, the room was kept comfortably cool. Front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

Not quite as modern as some other locations I've stayed but the room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast was just okay. The fruit juices tastes like water. Not our favorite.

The location is very convenient, with easy access to the highway and approximately 20 minutes from Charleston city center. The airport and other attractions are within a 30-minute to 1-hour drive. The property offers sufficient parking during our stay. Breakfast was provided as a buffet, and all items were well-stocked throughout our visit. The area is quiet with no noticeable road noise, decent neighborhood, did not notice unwanted/drugs peoples and there are numerous shops and amenities in the surrounding vicinity. Pool is till closed; Laundry some machine does not work.

I didnt even stay there but was charged for it. Went to hotels.com to try and cancel this but could not find anything to contact and or cancel this. I have put a told my bank about this.

I think the rooms could use remodeling. The hole in the sink was extremely dirty, the skirt for the mattress was stained, the lobby had a weird stench, my ac made an extremely loud whining noise to where as I had to knock it with my hand to quiet it down and the room didn't smell fresh upon entry. The curtain was also extremely old and long so if I closed the curtain for black out, it would block the ac unit. The ac unit was very rusted at the bottom and stains on the wall and ceiling. I was not pleased with my stay.

The elevators were messed up. Only some buttons worked on each floor. It was time consuming to get an elevator. The room smelled bad every time we entered in. The food was not great.

Breakfast was not large, but had all of the foods needed to have a heartly breakfast, ie; eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, toast, muffons, oatmeal, fruit, etc. A few more carts to load/unload baggage, people kept most of them in their rooms overnight so there was only one available (luckily) when I went downstairs at 5:00 AM to get one.

Our second stay at this location. The room was spacious but only a desk chair without a second chair suitable for watching TV. We were told this was a downsizing for this class of motel. Previous visit last fall included some nice cookies in lobby, now those are not available.

The room was very nice and comfortable. We were in North Charleston to bring my mother here for a surgery, so we asked for a late checkout because we did not know how long her procedure would take. The staff was very accommodating. Also, there was a really good barbeque restaurant within walking distance also, which was very helpful.

The staff were all so helpful and nice, but when we went into our room, there was a mildew smell and that was very unpleasant, and the beds were very uncomfortable. I hate to complain, but those are things that I think are very important when staying in a hotel. The location was great and was not far from anything.

They all were amazing!!!! First I had booked the wrong hotel and the nice young lady told me to call and cancel my reservation and she would waive the fee and I was able to book the correct hotel and that young lady was amazing as well.

Everyone was kind and gracious. The breakfast seemed like they were short on some items but still tasty. While the room was slightly worn, the mini fridge, tv, coffe maker, and charging ports were current and easily accessed. About a 20 minute drive into the historical area, it's a comfortable and affordable place.

We got there, quickly put our food for after concert in the fridge, and came back to spoiled food, fridge never got cold. Microwave out. Sheets didn't fit the bed and I hit my head in the bathroom on the low towel rack they had hanging behind the toilet. Saw stars. Front desk night man didn't like his job and was less than helpful. BOO!

Our room wasn’t ready in time due to being short staffed in housekeeping, but we were able to get into a different room. The TV didn’t work, but I was able to be my own personal IT helpdesk and get it up and running. Some of the others on our floor were loud in the evening (past 1030 on a Sunday night) and playing loud music. I know the hotel can’t control that, but I did call the front desk (although the phone in our room did not work so I had to call the main number and go through a bunch of prompts to get to the front desk) and they dealt with it quickly and the group was quieted down. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

I have stayed at this property many times but it seems the condition is going downhill a bit. Upon my arrival in the room the I found that someone had placed a plastic bag on the smoke detector (probably to smoke in the room). Also throughout my stay in room 513 the bathroom constantly smelled of sewer. I had to keep the bathroom door shut to keep the odor out of the rest of the room.

The area was ok but getting in and out of the traffic was hard

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, and assumed that the television stations would be good. We wanted to watch a basketball play off game. The programming at this hotel had very poor choices of programming for sports and other alternatives that we usually watch.

The bathroom in our room had some deterioration around the shower that needed attention, tile grout in the shower needed cleaning.

Ii was in room 151 and as the evening went the room was getting an exhaust fumes smell and it was strong.

The stay was pleasant. We loved the breakfast and the staff were so friendly. I’m from SC so having my husband experience SC hospitality was nice.

Room had no heat. Jad to change rpoms at 21:40. Came to town for special occasion. Heat was not fixed and had to leave celebration party for my granddaughter early to move from one room to another,

Unfortunately, The bed was uncomfortable, the fitted sheets were too short and kept coming off and the pillows were useless. One bulb in the bathroom was out. The mini-fridge made a double click noise loud enough to wake me up when I did manage to fall asleep. And the free breakfast left a lot to be desired unless you like powdered eggs and flavorless sausage. The grits were so watered down that they could not be eaten with a fork, a straw would have been a better choice. There were other healthier choices but I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy. The elevator call buttons, at least on the floors I used, either didn't light up or the lights were on when they shouldn't be. Overall, some corrections would need to be made for me to stay there again.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and beds were comfy. The pillows were flat and not comfortable however. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, my favorite was the make yourself waffles. I enjoyed this hotel very much.

Hotel room was nice and spacious. Location of the room was across from the elevator, but it was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and also filling. Parking was convenient.

My stay was okay. The mattress smelled of urine. The room was extremely hot even after turning the AC down to 65

Hotel was clean, spacious, comfortable and had a yummy breakfast, just what I’d expect from a Hampton Inn. I’ve stayed in several over the years and they’re always a safe bet. My only complaint was that the pool was freezing cold. Wish they’d heat it because that’s the thing kids like about hotel stays the most.

It’sa good hotel. The only problems that don’t HAVE to be problems is the bed I slept on seemed to be old. I felt like I was trying to sleep in a body imprint.i tossed and turned all night. My friend also had trouble sleeping in her bed. The breakfast wasn’t pleasing to the eye. We ate elsewhere. The coffee is really cheap. With creamer it’s almost like drinking milk.

Room was clean and organized. Breakfast wasn’t great but we appreciate that they had something to offer. Most hotels don’t offer breakfast anymore.

Got in earlier than expected and had time to relax a bit before a dinner engagement that I had to attend. Everything was great, thank you.

The water from the faucets had some particles in it.We couldn't use it for drinking or brushing our teeth.

I booked my room before I’ve seen that the weather dramatically changed and there was a tropical storm warning in the area (hurricane Helene). I needed to cancelled the hotel due to critical weather condition, however the property refused to issue a refund. I had to pay for a full stay even though I did not stay at the hotel. I’m very disappointed for a lack of flexibility since this is an unforeseen event. I will not book this hotel ever again.

Lovely customer service, clean rooms, great location right off the freeway. Air conditioning was perfect.
