Nothing Loud, disrespectful, nosey community. Open air drug deals. Coming outside for a cigarette upset the people selling drugs in the community. Loud dogs left unattended in hotel rooms

This place was so dirty you will move night stand trash dirt stuck on the floor like for days. Kitchen stove was filthy. Thebroom stink like weed. I requested another room they gave it but same issue. I canceled but was not refunded my unstay night.i was not there for not even 15 minutes 😡

Stayed here for one night after a concert and had the smoothest and simplest experience! Was just what we were looking for. Definitely would stay here again.

The place was nasty, broken floors and dirty floor trim, walls were so dirty and the box springs were disgusting. I checked out as soon as I saw how nasty the place was.

the floors have not seen a mop in some time...a few minutes of walking around barefoot and my feet were filthy... the sink tap need attention and the toilet would flush if you held the handle... towels were limited and toilet paper was not there on a positive note, the rooms were large and comfortable the place was pretty quiet the laundry room was useful the pool needs to be open at this time of year

Mold on the shower curtains, room key would NOT WORK 3 days straight, tried to accuse me of smoking & I only was there to sleep I work 10 hours then on top of that tried to charge me 250 & locked me out of my room! Even tried to keep all of my belongings in the room !

Did not feel safe, there was an issue of a used washcloth and soap opened in my room when I returned from being gone. I know I didn’t open it. Alarm went off at 2am outside for several minutes. I wouldn’t ever recommend anyone to stay here.

Paid upfront to book for week long vacation through Expedia. Arrived and was disturbed to find people living there, sketchy looking people hanging out in the parking lot. The place was filthy and run down. I can’t believe this place has not been condemned by the city. My Wife and I accepted a loss of 160+ dollars because of cancellation policy on Expedia to stay elsewhere.

It’s not a place I would travel with my family but if you need a room with a kitchen at an affordable rate it works. Bring dishes and soap.

Avoid this place. The room smelled and we found the cause was food in the disposal. Freezer had melted food residue on bottom. The tub had not been cleaned and had dirt and hair in it. Surfaces in the kitchen were not wiped and table covered greasy smears. People were sitting in their cars in the parking lot after 10pm. Not a safe feeling. Fire alarm went off at 4am and again at 5am. Don't know the cause, never saw fire fighters, maintenance or management and were never told about it. We had booked two nights but left after first one. Worst stay in a hotel ever.

The facility is in the middle of a very high crime area. I didn’t feel safe at all. The room was an upgrade because my original room had no A/C. The upgraded room reeked of smoke and marijuana. There was even reminence of some marijuana on the floor near the bathroom. The sheets were not clean so I slept on top of the bed with street clothes on. It was a very bad experience but I guess you get what you pay for. The price was reasonable a that’s why I had booked it. The room needs to be completely refreshed and deep cleaned.

No hot water. Tub won’t drain while wash. Sink doesn’t drain while brushing teeth. Also no comforters just a sheet on the bed.

The room was filthy and the ceiling was peeling off. Staff was unresponsive and unavailable. The office was locked in the morning. No one could get in. We left and lost our money for the remaining night. DO NOT suggest anyone stay there

Love the place just need some updates and cleaner rooms and linen. But no major problems we just cleaned got shower mats for the tubs and wiped down and moped. Staff is very friendly especially Jackie

I didn't like nothing about my stay Alot couldve been better like my room being cleaned before getting we had to sweep up the floor cause how dirty it been the ceiling peeling and falling on me while sleep the bed sets were dirty and haven't been cleaned I showed picture and still have pictures I asked front desk what can they do bout this and she lied and told me she'll send room service there to clean or give me a call and she'll move me I didn't get no call nor did a house keeper came to clean the room I need some of my money refunded back to me

The TV in the upstairs bedroom did not work properly. Maintenance came and tried to fix it. The heat did not work throughout the unit. The temperature was in the 40's, my children were cold. The king size bed downstairs had a huge body impression. This made sleeping very uncomfortable and caused intrusive thoughts.

The location was convenient. The entire place was disgusting. I took pictures as soon as I got in there. Absolutely disgusting. Moldly bathroom curtains and appliances. Moldy A/c units. Broken tables. Broken remotes. Dirty walls and floors (to the point we had to wear shoes to avoid our feet turning black) no pans or pots or anything of the sort. Toilet didn’t work on top floor. Coffee maker was disgusting, oven was disgusting. Poor breakfast. Dirty pool. Had people looking into my car and being suspicious. Looked nothing like what was on website. Absolutely disappointed. I had to deep clean just to convince myself to stay.

I didn't like anything. The first room we were given the plaster on the bathroom ceiling was falling down. We asked to be moved. We were then moved to another room and when we got there the door was open and the floor was wet. There was a small heater/blower on the table I'm assuming to absorb the water that seemed to be coming out of the air vent in the ceiling. There were double beds one had stained sheets and the other had someones hair all over the sheets. My husband and I bought sheets from Walmart and Lysol to be able to use the hair covered bed. The bathroom air vent above the toilet was missing and you could see into the ceiling. There were 2 TVs with no remotes. My husband had to go to the front desk to ask and he was really rude. He returned with the remotes to find neither worked for either TV. He returned to the front desk and asked for batteries and the front desk rep was again rude. We finally got the TV in the living room area working and had to move it to the bed area to watch in bed. The towels were gross and stained the refrigerator was dirty inside the bathtub was stained and disgusting. I did not shower in the room and I did not sit on the toilet seat.

The railing and stairs going up to room was falling apart opened the door and it was stinky the chairs at table was dirty the curtains were dirty I walked right back out went to manager and said I’m not staying here I want my money back and left didn’t get my money back either Everything

Absolutely nothing I was afraid I would be immediately sick with something. I felt like I was in a Crack house! No exaggeration!! Very disappointing!!!! There is nothing to like about this establishment! Run for your life!! Definitely will never recommend! A whole CATFISH!

Well, they did not have the room I reserved, then they attempted to place us in a room filled with smoke and had no ADA, which was necessary. On their third try, they gave us a room that was already occupied, so we ended up leaving and staying at another place. I would like a refund since we never did get to stay there.

The whole property is old and run down, so was the room. Had to wipe something off the floor, it was black! Shower and toilet were pink, fruit flies living in the sink, faucet dripping all night. Sheets were grey and had stains and holes. The breakfast was completely gone at 7.30am. Do not stay here!

They clearly have a roach infestation because there are plenty of baby roaches. Which is they have. A roach infestation I wouldn't be surprised if they also had bed bugs. We left within a half hour, the AC didn’t work, there were roaches, and the facility was filthy. They had a sign up stating that you had to pay a premium if you live nearby, indicating there is illegal activity like drug usage or prostitution happening on site.

I think the only thing I enjoyed about this place is that it was somewhere to sleep for the night. Other than that it was a terrible stay. I called the front desk to confirm that they don’t just give out random people our room numbers and he said no. But in fact 30 minutes later I was in danger because someone now knew where I was and it was very scary. I trusted that they wouldn’t give out that information and they failed me. Didn’t try to do anything about making it right or me to feel safe for the night he was very mean and made it seem like it was my fault. They came up and told me if this person comes again and causes a disturbance that they would have to vacate me for the night. When it wasn’t my fault from the beginning

We had to beg for basic necessities like towels and toilet paper. The TV did not work the whole stay, after several calls to desk, was told someone would come to check it out and never did. Definitely will never stay in anything Hawthorne or Wyndham again.

When I went to put one the the sheets from my bed on it, I noticed mouse poop on it. I called the main office and they moved us to the penthouse. The penthouse looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The next afternoon I tried taking a shower in the downstairs bathroom and there was no hot water. I called the main office and they said they would send someone up, they never did. And the cherry on top was that the pool was unusable. It was very very green, which when you have kids, its a big deal.

We were highly disappointed with our stay here. From the moment we stepped in the room, we were greeted with gnats and other bugs. Some of the walls and doorframes were cracked and all the cabinet and drawers were left open. The condition of the room left a lot to be desired especially when compared to the pictures on the website. We expected a lot more especially for the price.

Very clean and nice. Breakfast was ok waffles were good but the eggs were dry and the potatoes were raw. But my stay we were very pleàsed.

Everything they said they had as far as cooking utensils, rags, towels, nothing works blow dryer weren’t working as well it was just terrible!! I’ve stayed here a few years ago, and it amazed me how much it has went down hill! If you are taking your family to this location just be prepared to bring your own cleaning supplies dishes etc you would rather put up a tent in the backyard than stay here!!!

Expedia, you should take this property off your list, it's ruining your reputation. Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for posting the pictures on the website, it looks nothing like those pictures. It's a disgusting dump with bugs, dirty bedding, and falling apart facilities.

The pictures for this property are very deceiving. The hotel was not at all what I expected. Junk was in the way of the stairs. Room had no clean towels and smelled of marijuana. No ice bucket was available. We were given ice in a plastic bag. The towels that we were given were dingy and thin. The property was very low class and sketchy. I will NEVER stay here again!

-This property is located in a dark back alley area with broken down cars with flat tires along the main driveway. -There was wood rot and damage to the wood stairs, which felt very unsafe. -The guest room smelled musty and there were bugs in the bedroom area. Went back to the desk to cancel our stay and moved to another hotel 30 minutes away. While trying to get a refund from our Travelocity booked room the manager was rude and would not honor the request from Travelocity to refund the room rate. Travelocity was writing with us to offer a complete refund, only with the approval from the property. The manager was belittling the customer service agent on the phone and told her to do her job and not call back to her hotel.

They do not offer 1pm late check out options only the 12, there were holes in the sheets the floor was dirty there wasn’t even a trash can in the room. The tv didn’t work either, only stay here if you have low cleaning standards. Its definitely not worth the price.

WIFI needs upgrade to better bandwidth, and even the TV reception was bad, channels were limited and not anymore up to what the industry standard, as was the WIFI. Otherwise the suite was nice, good bed/mattress.

coffee pot did not work - told them twice room dirty, TV tables and kitchen sink need to be cleaned. went to store for Lysol wipes and spray could use a paint job 1 set of towels for 2 people! went for more and was told only one set per room and have to wait for housekeeping at 10am. they had none in the back. would not recommend and will not go back

Property was extremely old and undermaintained. The room had water stains in the ceiling and the “doors” for the closet area were hanging with no bottom latch so they swung freely. It smelled awful in the room. The staff was nice but the room was absolutely not somewhere I would want to stay.

They put us in a very dirty unit. Couch and floor were like they had never been cleaned. Pipe in bathroom was leaking water. And there were roaches coming out of kitchen and stove. We drove almost four hours to get there. So we managed to sleep for one night but decided to find another place. They said they couldn’t refund our money because we had booked with Expedia. They even had trash sitting in front of the unit when we got there. And they said they were on their way to get it after I said something. I lost three nights. So yes, they were terrible

The room was dirty when we arrived with old food on the floor and dry eggs on the wall. There was someone sitting outside on the steps eating seafood and throwing the remnants on the step. We had to carefully walk to avoid stepping in his food scraps. Room reasonably priced but we won’t be returning. Just not worth the trouble.

Please heed the reviews when considering this property. It's location is convenient for airport travelers but does not offer an airport shuttle. The pictures online are not an accurate representation of the current state of the property. Non-smoking room that smelled of smoke, many items in the room needed repair (ex: nail strips protruding through carpet on stairs, kitchen table broken and very unstable, plaster missing on ceiling), suite not clean (ex: floors dirty, carpet needed vacuuming, dirty washcloth still hanging in shower from previous guest, food residue on night stand, hair on door in bathroom and on room phone, stains on sheets and pillows). Looks like it was once a nice property that has fallen into disrepair.

A pun arriving I called the hotel to let them know that we were running behind because the interstate was jam-packed due to a car accident once we arrived and got checked in that took unnecessarily 45 minutes once we got to the room I realized this is not the room that I booked not to mention I'm not sure if anybody had stayed in that one room because when I tell you the thickness in the dust collected on the furniture the sheets were dirty so I had to sleep on towels the tub was black literally black I couldn't even take a bath my whole stay I called the front desk right after somebody literally use a key one of the little key cards and walk right into my room excuse me not right into my room they were able to open the door however that jam stop at the top that little silver thing that you close onto the door so it can catch the door that's the only way and the reason why the door didn't open all the way and we hear a man in a accent say oh I'm sorry I'm sorry and close the door I stood there in total shock I looked outside the people there's no people it's all pitch black let's get back to the state of the room so dirty the stove the refrigerator was so dirty no one ever walked in there and cleaned it and come to find out I don't even think this property has a dedicated housekeeping when I called after looking at this mess not to mention I didn't even get the room that I booked. Terrible, noisy, dirty, its listed as a hotel but it was definitely not a hotel. It was more like crappy stuido apartments with rotting walls and a roach problem. I had to ask for new bedding because the sheets were dirty (not just dingy from age as the front desk suggested but actual crumbs and dirt) and the blanket had hard white stains on it. Then i had to make my own bed with the linens i was given. Breakfast was terrible and they didn't even have salt and pepper for the terribly bland eggs.

The photos on the website must be photoshopped. The hotel is in a motel setting. The property has cars parked in the lot that do not have plates on them, that have flat tires, and some have car covers. This property looks like it is designed for department of social services placement for long term stay for people who don’t have a place to live. This looks more like a low income expressed stay motel rather than a hotel. People had BBQ grills outside of their units, people were walking around with laundry baskets. Upon entry to my room on the third floor the outside steps had chicken bones on them. The bathrooms toilets were not properly cleaned. The towels may have been clean but had many stains on them. The hotel offers free breakfast during your stay. In the check in area behind the desk next to the printer there was dirty dishes, plates, silverware, pots and pans that needed to be washed just sitting in the check in area next to the printer. I arrived there at 10pm if those dishes were from breakfast what were they doing sitting in the office? Very unsanitary. I traveled 13 hours by car to SC to arrive to a place like this. Long story short, my family and i did not even stay! We couldn’t! Best part of the hotel was the property manager Krystal. She is very professional, she was very accommodating, and super understanding of my feelings of the property and the room. She tried her best to accommodate us even let us see a different room! I rate the staff a 10! property, 0.

I was offered two rooms on the lower level because I kept reporting issues with the quality issues with furniture, lighting switches, and cleanliness. Then I was offered to stay in the Penn House and was mortified to see roaches and creepy crawly insects in my tub. There were stains in the living room furniture. Remote control for TV in the living room didn’t work. The bed upstairs in the loft was draped with torn blankets. All of this was disappointing because aesthetically it property units all have potential. I liked the fireplace and private porch feature. Management must enforce stricter cleanliness policy. If I hadn’t have cleaned my unit I could have had an allergic attach which would have put me in the hospital!

Didn't like being called" you people " Didn't like going under a nasty stairway, cats in the doorway and Mexicans hanging outside in front of the room and then I had to park away from the room because they had all the parking spots where I was put. I was charged $100.00 dollars for what they called deposit for any repairs or smoking in the room. I don't smoke and I wasn't there to party so I would appreciate my money back. That website is a sham and it need to look like what you are actually paying for and I will never ever use it again. You have a wonderful day.

The room was halfway decent, but the bathroom was frighteningly dirty and the fitted sheet on the bed had stains all over it. There were people right outside playing basketball at 11 PM and when I looked outside, I thought I saw a drug deal go down. I just packed up my stuff and left and drove three hours home in the middle of the night. That was preferable to staying on that property.

This property is not represented well online at all. The main entrance, front desk, condition of entry ways and the rooms are terrible. Smelled of smoke and marijuana, dirty breezeways and rooms. I did not stay and should not have even stepped past the front desk. I would never again entertain this brand of hotel based on this 30 minute experience.

The shower curtains were filthy along with paint stains on the window curtains. The glass coset door was falling off the hinges witch was a hazard to my small children. On top of that the property just felt unsafe. People just smoking with their doors open. I will never stay here again. It was more like apartments because most of the guests clearly lived there.

There were pets around the hotel. I notice dog excrements and yellow spots along the pavement. After I call and complained three times, The staff finally come. The staff offered to put us in another room but it was much smaller. The staff told me I can get a refund within 30 minutes of check in but we have to get it from Hotels.com. The virtues agent in Hotels.com was not responsive and it kept asking to search for the booking. I can’t go to another hotel without paying for a much higher price so I clean the room myself. Plus, it was way over 30 minutes when I waited for the staff to come. The next day, the hotel did replace the microwave oven and clean the room, but we only have two nights there.
