Staff and food were good. Bathrooms could be cleaner, mold in grout. No soap in dispenser, wish they would bring back bar soap. One towel per person with no bathmat.

The location is absolutely amazing.We have stayed before and this is why we choose Embassy Suites. Stand in line to check-in 45 minutes and then had to wait. Additional 30 minutes for the room and the room was not clean properly. Bathroom had hair in shower and it was not clean.

Fantastic location with ample parking, and the staff was very friendly! However, the hotel itself is definitely dated. You still get that great Embassy Suites room size, but the rest of the property feels like it's just settling for mediocrity instead of striving for greatness. The breakfast was just okay, and in my opinion, the property desperately needs a facelift to match the great location and spacious rooms.

We were in town for a graduation. The hotel was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly!

The manager Arrie made out stay wondaful. She was very accommodating. Her attitude was very positive. We were in town for a funeral. She was very sympathetic. We had five rooms between each of us and everyone felt that Arrie was a superstar. We will be back and will refer everyone to the hotel becasue of her.

The only thing we were not able to use the pool due to maintenance that was one of the main reason the indoor pool everything was great didn’t get to use the pool during our stay.

Only negative you have to pay for parking and that was not indicated on the post I saw. Other than that we really enjoyed the stay.

Everything was wonderful except the check-in process, Had pre-paid for a corner suite and employee was argumentative about the reservation for about ten minutes. When I showed her proof from the Expedia reservation, she finally acquiesced without so much as a “thank you” or “I’m sorry for the misunderstanding.” Breakfast was great. A male staff was more than helpful with assisting with the room temperature controls. The front staff check-in lady needs to be dismissed for her arrogant and dismissive attitude.

Reservation was canceled without my knowledge via email while on flight to Charleston. The front desk was totally indifferent when I asked the reason. They stated that I booked 3rd party (it was via Expedia -10 days prior) and they could not help me. The Embassy front desk told me a total of three times that "you booked 3rd party". They offered no further assistance. If the Embassy Suites doesn't honor the reservations made through Expedia then why have the business relationship to begin with. It was now 1130pm at night and I was left with finding another hotel. I attempted follow-up with the hotel and they never responded to my messages. I attempted follow-up with Expedia as to find out why it was canceled and couldn't get past the Artifical Intellegence (AI) responses. AI responded about refunding and such but it was canned responses that didn't apply to my situation. Looking back, I should have called Expedia at the time to see if they could resolve it but ended up at another hotel nearby at a higher cost. I have stayed at other Embassy Suites numerous times in the past with no issues. This experience gave me no incentive to use Expedia or Embassy Suites again.

The rooms were clean and the size very comfortable, especially for a multi-day stay. Housekeeping staff were wonderful if we needed anything, like extra towels, etc. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choices; would have preferred an earlier start time for breakfast on Saturday morning (started at 7:30 am). Happy Hour was well done and snacks provided. Our only complaint was that it took us 25 minutes to check in on a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 - there were approximately 10 people waiting to check in, etc. and ONE front desk person....not a good way to start the process.

This was an excellent stay! As a lifelong Southerner accustomed to Southern hospitality, I was still kinda surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Every person we interacted with was gracious and kind. The happy hour free drinks were great with lots of options, and breakfast was ample and fresh. The location couldn't be better for events at the Arena or Convention Center, which are directly across the street (with good pedestrian access). Our room and bathroom were super clean. We will definitely be back!

I stayed 3 nights but the second day our room was not cleaned or serviced. I found the room in that condition around 5:00 pm when I returned to my room. I talked to the representative at the front desk and she did arrange for the room to be cleaned and serviced. I am really disappointed that this type of poor service occurred. I have stayed at this Embassy suites multiple-days in the past.

The lobby/atrium is very nice, and in spite of how all of the rooms face in to the atrium, it was quiet.

Room is spacious and location is great for the airport. The breakfast was really good, too.

Every amenity you would need is right there on property if you don’t want to venture out. If you are seeing a concert or show at the convention center or performing arts center this is the place to stay. Just a short walk across the parking lot. The only thing I would recommend to Embassy Suites is that you really need more luggage carts. The 8 that are available at any given time is not enough for a large Hotel such as this. But otherwise Perfect!

The hotel was great - landed late and wanted to stay overnight before the 5-hr drive home. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is great as Embassy is famous for! Would stay again if flying in and out of Charleston.

Overall ok. The breakfast was not great. They offer room service but not really. Staff was not friendly at all, especially at check in desk. Happy hour drink were tasteless, not to complain because they are free, but it is what is supposedly included. Honestly one of the least favorites of the Embassy suites we’ve stayed in. Parking was a mess due to being so close to convention center. Just very disappointed in staff one of the worst.

This was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly the establishment was very clean. Shopping and Eateries within walking distance.

Front desk staff were very nice. No explanation or apology for the middle of the night fire emergency that required us to stand outside for an hour after midnight. Pull out couch was painfully uncomfortable and walls are intensely thin letting me hear every moment of every conversation of the neighbors. Pool was murky and there was something on the bottom that I kept being touched by but couldn’t see. Nice location, breakfast had adequate options if no seasoning. Overall not worth the price but a fine 2.5- 3 star experience.

Excellent accomodations. The crazy thing is the $10 a day parking with a $5 Service Fee. I guess being next to the convention is okay, but hotel guest with self park and even if you can find a parking space after 9:00 am. NO CHARGE or bury the parking in the hotel bill. I am tired of here a fee and there a fee. I can just stay home.

The shower water pressure was, well there not much pressure at all. I think i would have more water pressure standing in the rain. Did not like having to pay for parking just because it was connected to the convention center. Other than those small issues it was a great hotel.

They had a great indoor pool. The front desk staff made it very clear to not being room towels down. So we didn’t. Each day we went down there were not towels at the pool. None. I went to the front desk and they gave me 1 for 4 people and charged it to my room. This is not the proper way to handle it. The front desk staff saw many people standing in line and never bothered to look up from their computers and greet customers. They were short and rude and seem disinterested and unwelcoming. Breakfast buffet and omelet bar were OUTSTANDING. KUDOS TO THE ENTIRE KITCHEN STAFF! Very nice evening snack bar as well. Amenities were very good. Room was sub par and the front desk staff does not enjoy their job nor enjoy speaking to people. Overall a very nice venue but needs major staff and cleaning upgrades.

The breakfast and easy location to shopping The room was dirty. There were washcloths left in the bathroom from previous guest. There were no clean washcloths or hand towels either. There was a lack of urgency from the staff to get more up there. I went out for a few hours and came back to more bath towels and no washcloths or hand towels. When I went back down to the front desk, they finally gave me some.

I called for a early check in because it was pouring cats and dogs, was rudely told no. Upon finally able to check in there were no rags, 2 towels. Room was dirty, pull out bed had stuff all over it. The check-in process was horrendous. We tried 3 times. Finally, on the third attempt, we had to just wait in the egregiously long line. It took over an hour and a half. Unbelievable. We arrived at 515. We did not get into a room until 1030. To make matters worse, as we had been waiting in line for close to an hour, the staff then decided that a flight crew could skip the entire line. They were checked in (4 members) in 5 minutes. The excuse was that they flight crew comes every night. However, they went the wrong way to the elevator. Doubtful they are frequent patrons.

Several of my friends that did stay there had no hot water and the AC didnt work....they over booked and canceled my reservation by calling me while I was driving on my way to Charleston! Horrible!

There was no hot water in our room. We were staying overnight for a cheer competition next door. We called downstairs twice and no one made an effort to come up and look at it. Multiple other cheer families were in the same boat as us and when I contacted Expedia the hotel said they had no complaints of a hot water issue. Lies!! Would not stay here ever again!!!

The room was fine but it seems like it took me half of my night to enter my room because some kind of mixed up that the staff said it was the hotel fault. Didn't have any toilet tissue in my bathroom in room 721 and I had to go down stairs to use the lobby restroom. Almost had a serious accident by the time I got to the restroom waiting on the elevator to come. When I checked out, no one still didn't bring any toilet tissue. Seems like I waited all night before checking in my room cause no one didn't call me like they said to let me know when the room was ready. I always love staying at this hotel cause the staff are very friendly but this time was my worst experience and I am very disappointed this time.

Rooms very clean and staff very responsive.

Everything was great but be aware an airport shuttle is advertised and my flight landed at 10 pm and shuttle only goes 5:30 am - 10 pm. So had to get other transportation. The remodel is beautiful and breakfast is lovely.

NO kids above level 2 or 3 however, I’ll get back to that…… The room was clean and staff was nice. Breakfast was pretty good as well with fresh omelets made to order. The biggest problem with this hotel however is the fact that the lobby is a big open space acting as an auditorium for noise from the lobby. They also just allow kids to run around on all floors making my stay very restless to say the least. My suggestion is that the hotel only allow parties of five and up or parties that contains more than two kids on levels on levels 1 and 2.

Indoor pool closed with no prior notice. Hallways smell badly of cigarette smoke and weed. Check in and out have long lines and Customer service awful. Also outlets in bathroom don’t work at all.

I mistakenly selected the wrong date and when I received the email the same day within an hour of booking, I realized the date selection was wrong. I selected 11/28/2025 and it should have been the next day which is 11-29-2025. Embassy Suites nor Hotels.com were willing to accommodate my change of date. I didn’t want a refund, I only wanted to correct the date to the next day. I was traveling from out of town for a funeral and now I have no where to stay because my credit card was already $162 for a one night stay which was the day I booked it. I’m extremely disappointed and upset because it was an innocent error. Now I would like to either have a refund or a voucher for a night stay when I return to Charleston.

We enjoyed our stay. This is our second time booking this hotel. The 2 bedroom queen suite rooms have adequate space for a family of 5 or 6. We love the full buffet breakfast with an omelette station and an evening reception with 2 free drinks and snacks. Highly recommended. Will book again.

The customer service could be better.

Each time we ran into housekeeping they asked if we needed anything from towels to coffee. The breakfast crew of service workers were very nice, and the food was great. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The Bartender was great. The room wasn't cleaned and we ran out of towels and it took a long time to get them and we had to sit up Saturday night waiting so we can take shower and go to bed.

The room and breakfast were good. My only and BIGGEST issue is that my family went to the pool. Upon leaving we noticed there were no towels. Went to the front desk . They said " we will be right in with some" . 35 minutes of waiting later still no towels. We back to the desk. Long story short...We missed a non refundable prepaid $140 event due to NO TOWELS. We frequently stay at Embassy, but frankly i am pissed and disappointed and so were my kids. I guess we should have just left the pool soaking wet, slipped and fell. i guess they would have cared then

I get it we are early, no big deal. The lady at the desk assures me she has a room for me on the 7th floor after 4pm. Great. I tell her we will be returning late as the event ends after midnight- will someone still be at the desk- I am told yes mam no problem, i noted your late arrival. Arrive to the hotel.at 1am exhausted. Just want to check in and sleep. A new clerk at the desk asks what I need. I tell her to check in. Do I have a reservation? Yes- told her I had been there at 2pm. Zion had checked me in, put me on the 7th floor and noted my late arrival. She gives me a look, says the other clerk is new and they have no rooms avaliable. They are sold out. I ask how thats possible, and I am told again the other clerk is new. Mind you no.apology or anything. Tells me to contact Expedia for a refund and she won't fight it- like she is doing me a favor. Worst customer service ever at a hotel. Ended up driving 2.5 hours home at 2am exhausted.

Room was spacious, but the property is showing its age. We had a few maintenance issues that no one came tofix after we called. Staff seem stressed and understaffed. Breakfast was good with a wide verity of hot options.

The check in process was like being at at cheap run down hotel not a Hilton. To park the car in a regular lot required you to leave the check in area and scan in the phone a QR code and jump through those hoops to pay $ 10 a day to stay there. Not a parking garage just a big lot. Nice hotels include parking. If there is a charge it is just added to the bill. This QR code was stupid. After it was done I continued to receive texts that it needed to be done. Very frustrating and a sign of poor management

Housekeeping was terrible. In our 5 day stay we had to request housekeeping everyday. Dishes left on table,bed not made. Refrigerator had leftovers from previous guest. Shower gel empty. Phone had message beeping constantly. Two technicians couldn’t resolve the problem. Citations on parked car after registering it twice. Still trying to resolve bill.

Also to The front desk staff for being on top of the situation when we came back to Our room About 8 and found housekeeping inside cleaning out our refrigerator because they said they thought we checked out. Could have been an honest mistake but still creepy, front desk And management were very helpful and even gave us a 50 dollar drink and food voucher. Can not say enough good things about this hotel....

Check in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and spacious. Happy hour was different than what I expected from other embassy, the drinks was limited and snacks was chips, dipped and nuts. Breakfast was good as usual. I would stay again.

I truly enjoyed our stay. Anyone who’s stayed at Embassy Suites knows how fresh and delicious their made-to-order FREE breakfast is—and they didn’t let us down! Unfortunately, housekeeping was disappointing. Our room was only cleaned once during our three-night stay, and they didn’t remove the used towels left in the bathroom. It was also clear the sheets weren’t changed, as the bed was poorly made. Front desk was very friendly

Went out to the lobby area, no one moving. My wife called back to the reception; ad got a very confusing update.?? Obviously, we didn't sleep. Scary, horrible night. We were celebrating out anniversary. Next morning we talked to the manager. First I saw him, and later my wife talked to him. Never got a good reason or cause. They "Comped" our room, and said they would give us enough Hilton Honors points for a later stay. It was a horrible night. BTW: They gave us 50,000 points, but the rooms cost almost 70,000 points, so we got screwed again. I used to stay there years ago, on business, and it was always great. Again. Never got an answer that made sense. Maybe I should contact the fire Department. Im sure they had to report the incident from that night. If it was that bad, they should have evacuated the area. We were on the 9th floor, and my wife would definitely have problems using the stairs during a panic. The flashing red light on the phone kept flashing thru our check out in the morning.

Daily Happy Hour with complimentary drinks and light snacks

Just one issue. The two year old found a nail for furniture on the floor and put in her mouth. I was scared of this accident. We reported to front desk and she said she will follow up with manager. We are still waiting for their reply. Other than this, definitely will recommend this hotel to people who travel to this area.

The hotel was not as clean as it should have been. Two out of three elevators were broken. The in room coffee was terrible. Even the coffee downstairs was awful. They are charging for parking in their parking lot which is ridiculous. We will not be back.

We were in town for the 4th of July visiting family. The room was clean and nice. The staff were warm and friendly. The only issue we had was at checkout. There was only elevator working and we had to wait over 25 minutes just to catch an elevator to get downstairs.

NO HOT TUB

Check-in with Na-riya was very pleasant. The room however, there was hair in the tub and the paneling on the outside on the floor of the tub was comimg off and water running off the front edge during the shower.

Our room was great. Only thing that would have improved it was a walk in shower.

The breakfast was great, with the made to order omelets. Rooms were clean and updated. The pool was great for our kids. I just had to ask several times for someone to make up the sleeper sofa, and bring up the pack n play- but I feel like that’s pretty typical with hotels across the board.
