The room was adequate, nothing more. Neither the TV nor the fridge worked. If you're on a tight budget, I guess this place is good enough. But if you can spare a few dollars, go elsewhere!

There was no breakfast served at the property...only juice and coffee...UNACCEPTABLE The room was horrible...I picked a non smoking room before I arrived when I got to the property all those rooms we're sold out so I had to get a smoking room which I didnt want to but had to because I had my kids...there was no hot water at all had to go use another room for showers.

Military Circle Econo Lodge violated a number of norms, including a KIOSK with bot-like person on the other end of a ZOOM-like connection (as opposed to an actual person on site to check us in, and solve problems); no soap; faucet not attached to the sink; dirty sheets in our first room; BLOODY SHEETS in purported replacement room (we have photos to prove it); smoke oozing from the walls (in both rooms, which conspicuously contained ashtrays, despite a NO SMOKING booking); and NO HUMAN STAFF ON SITE, 24 HOURS, despite written pledge issued at checkin, as well as Expedia description: "Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival at the property" (a lie). No way would any sane person spend the night here. We packed up and escaped, sidestepping a scary marijuana-vaping homeless person who half-blocked the exit stairway. This motel is hideously unsanitary, not safe, and "run" (as in "run down") by lying ripoff artists. Send your worst enemies there.

Nothing! The place is so dirty, they didn’t change the beddings. Pillows have stains and hairs. The room is so stinky eventhough I booked for non-smoking. A lot. First of all, there are no employees in the front desk. You can only talk in the kiosk machine with a guy in the virtual screen. Second, there are homeless outside leaving their cart and food trash outside the doors of the room you’re checking in. Third, they don’t change the beddings with visible sweat or liquid stains and hairs in the pillows.

The place was not clean. The floor was dirty no one came to clean the room. The tub was dirty had hair in the tub open bar of soap. No lights in the bathroom. The sink was loose. The electric plug something was wrong with the electricity. The refrigerator was not clean the refrigerator was not cold. There was not enough towels and rags. There was no chair or desk. There was no staff to help. The place charged my card before I had gotten there. There were no breakfast. My grandchildren had dirty socks because of the dirty floor.

The water temperature and AC worked great! There were dead bugs and dirt all over the floor. I requested clean towels twice because there were none in the room and was told housekeeping would bring some but never did. The toilet seat shifted every time you sat down. The shower curtain was not water resistant leaving a puddle of water on the floor after your shower because again no clean towels were given. If you weren't careful it would be a slip and fall waiting to happen. No complimentary soaps were available or extra toilet paper. For the shower you had to stand directly under to showerhead to wash because there was no pressure. The back of the bathroom door had yellow streaks running down it like it has never been wiped down or cleaned. Also the freezer section on the fridge was frozen solid and the fridge was nasty. I had some expectations that this hotel would be worth the $100+ dollars I spent but it wasn't worth it honestly. Don't expect to speck to someone in person because there is no one but a kiosk.

Place is a wee bit older. Could use a better house keeping system. Shower had hair on walls.

This is an old property that certainly needs renovation. I could not even turn on the TV because the remote had only one battery. The only positive about this experience was that there was hot water to shower.

Room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the air quality was terrible. No coffee, no amenities. We even had some woman banging on our door at 4:15 in the morning looking for somebody. If you’re looking for a bare bones hotel without anything special, then maybe this place is for you.

The staff is always so pleasant, friendly, compassionate, and I can tell they value their guests. Housekeeping and maintenance are awesome. It's just a few of them and they work their butts off to keep the property and rooms in good condition. I have no complaints!!

The bathtub was dirty with in the tub. I had to clean it myself as you can see in the pictures how nasty the tub was and hair.

The sheets had not been changed but the bed was made up. Sheets were full of hair and sand. Horrible place. Never another Econo Lodge!

The tables and the floor was dirty. There were visible dirt on the floor and in the bathroom. Although there was not a noticeable odor, you can tell that staff had not cleaned the room in a while. Shower/tub had mold. I had to use cleaning wipes just to place anything into the table and end tables. I will not stay at this motel again

I was told I was on a "banned" list for the property when I tried to check in. Tried emailing customer service for Expedia to let them know I didn't need to be charged/pay for my booking, and my email was rejected. It was a disgusting place, and I wouldn't have stayed regardless. I'm out some $ now, bc they still billed me for the room I got banned from renting.

I was immediately told by the manager that they are not responsible for bugs on the property and was told “ welcome to Virginia” when she said there’s roaches because of the water. My shower curtain was so wrinkled it looked like dirty Crete paper. The floor was so dirty my feet were black within a few minutes of walking on it. If I didn’t have my young child with me I would’ve slept in my car over this unkempt property.

I reserved a room with a rub and walk-in shower, which i paid extra for. I got a dirty tub, and no walknin shower. When i inquired about getting rhe room i reserved, i was told they do not have a room that matched that description - despite me showing thwm the online oicture.

This was a last minute stay for an emergency situation and it was rough to say the least. When we first got there people were in the parking lot all sprawled out on the ground, I’m assuming they were high off of something. It was very noisy and all I heard were sirens or people all night. The room floors hadn’t been mopped and left my daughter’s socks black. The microwave smelled badly burnt. The tv in one room didn’t work. The floor was caved in our room near the window. The rooms weren’t cleaned or restocked during our entire stay. We had to go ask for everything and staff were very rude. I understand that they must get a lot of bad guests but change it. They ran out of towels which was crazy to me. Laundry facilities were out of order. No continental breakfast as posted on their site, only coffee and they never had it ready. The phone didn't work, certain outlets didn't work, dresser drawers were stuck open. One drawer had two pieces of duct tape to hold it shut. The good: fluffy pillows and comfy enough beds. The day time manager Elaine is an absolute gem. The front office has modern automated coffee/hot drink machine.

Each room they tried to place me in was dirty. It looked like the cleaning staff had only cleaned the toilet and placed new toietries in the room. The tub had hair in it, the floor was sticky and dirty, the dresser was sticky and dirty.

I felt uneasy driving in, and when I saw bugs in the AC unit, that was it. The bedding was questionable. I think I saw stains and it reeked of weed. Soon after arriving I dropped my key off and went to another place.

I was given a second floor room and had to lug my 50lb suitcase up a long flight of stairs. the rooms only electrical outlet was by the sink, so nowhere to plug in a laptop at the so called desk. no water pressure from the sink. The faux wood floors were filthy.

A roach was behind the refrigerator that doesn’t close all the way & DOES NOT KEEP COLD!! The bed had a massive indent on one side very uncomfortable!!!! Water doesn’t get hot or stay hot & shower pressure horrible sprinkles out. Lady at front desk is overly rude. Definitely not worth the price!! Wouldn’t recommend a dog to this place. No latch on door for extra security very unsafe. They have rules that absolutely no other place has!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend for extended stay after 30days they kick you out & you cant come back for 30days.

I will never stay at any Econo lodge again after this experience. Upon arrival check in was easy and quick- however our room was a smoking room (all that was available when we booked) therefore the smell was terrible as non smokers- there was a burn hole in our bedding, and the bedding is a basic blue fleece blanket a white sheet and a thin sheet like decorative blanket. The blow dryer wasn’t securely attached to the wall and would randomly fall off until I finally removed it. The tray for the ice bucket had multiple burn marks and melted plastic.. these were minor inconveniences compared to the water bugs and ants in the bathroom daily. I had gotten out of the shower and there was a water bug crawling on my foot up to my ankle. I have never experienced this in any hotel or motel stay. All of that is still a minor inconvenience compared to the housekeeper who began to knock on my door my second day there, asking to housekeep for me. I said no thank you she knocked again I said NO THANK YOU and one more time said no thank you and as I said no before I even got the thank you out, I heard a beep and a click and my door is wide open, there is a lady in pink sweatpants and a pink beanie standing there staring at me while I am naked. Unacceptable

Did not want to give us the room we booked because the lock was broken. After they attempted to pawn us onto 3 other rooms with smoking and smaller bed which we refused they gave us the original room in which we found roaches. We immediately checked out and called Expedia.

This hotel is in horrible condition. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. The ceiling sheetrock was peeling off in one spot. Our room key had to be reactivated every day.

Tried to order pizza deliver and found out they won't come to that Hotel at all. This was my first and Last stay at this Hotel.

No frills stay. One of the least expensive. Had tv,fridge,microwave. Bed was comfortable and overall as clean as could be. Got a smoking room somehow but smelled more like scented air so was manageable. Tricky to pull in depending on time of day and direction. No food without crossing busy street if walking but plenty by vehicle. At this price point I’ve learned there’s a mix of people so third night was loud. Location better for being doubled up with a friend etc at night. Ex military here so worked just fine for me .

Convenient, Decent, and No bed bugs. You get what you pay for. Would stay again to be closer to Janaf for a night or two.

No complaints at all. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean.

This is nothing like the pictures represent. The place is dirty and poorly kept. In an unsafe neighborhood. Found bugs in the bathroom and the faucet in bathtub almost fell off. Other people hair on floor still. Very disappointed. Beware of this place. Do not waste your money.

Everything was good until I had to take a shower! Do y'all wash the towels? Those towels were dirty and disgusting! Aside that the rest of my process was ok

Overall, the Econo Lodge is a decent budget-friendly option if you're looking for a no-frills place to stay. It offers the essentials, and the staff's hospitality helps make up for some of the minor shortcomings.

Needless to say, I cancelled the rest of my nights at this place. I can't imagine what it would be like on a weekend. The place is cheap, the room is functional and appears clean, but otherwise it ain't worth staying at. You will regret it, I assure you.

enjoyed the whole experience

Very sketchy area. Room had small thin towels one small bottle of shampoo and one soap poor paint job on inside of room noise levels were high could hear people above walking all night long and frequent door slams around with someone bumping into my door. More of a rent by the hour than a rent by night

we left after seeing the room. We felt it wasn't clean and overall did not feel safe.

The staff is very rude . The one black lady was amazing and very respectful and personable. I asked not to be disturbed everyday and housekeeper would still knock and be rude smh . Best thing about here is the price .

And the sad part my husband notified front desk of roaches and how the rooms was not cleaned for 2 days and all they said was sorry and they clean every other day .We had to ask several times for clean towels and would only get 1-2 sets when it was 3 of us in a room. Horrible !

I never actually checked in , it was a stay over and the cancel my reservation and said I had to leave but never gave me my money back

Not a place we would stay again. Staff don’t listen and we were over charge.
