Was ok room, but there’s were no breakfast and smell to strong of weed and cigarettes which is make me sick , wish they can maintain their atmosphere better.

Cleaness ok, didn't see any bugs. Front desk staff was friendly. water pressure and drainage were good. There was some noise from the fan and a bit of outside noise as well. If you're staying for just one night, it would be fine.

The room was satisfactory for where I was the neighborhood is kind of sketchy in that part of Newport News. The hotel was very good condition I've stayed there before. But my ratings are pretty much because of the location. Sometimes there's a little bit of suspect traffic in the parking lot like homeless people. But I've been satisfied with this hotel the two times I've stayed there. And considering again where it's located it could have been way worse so my expectations were exceeded clean and comfortable. The location you can't control the area. A lot of the hotels in this area don't have super high ratings because of some of the vagrancy that's nearby. But I felt completely safe while I was there but you can just tell it's not a top-notch area/neighborhood.

I appreciate the snack bags given to the guests. My rooms are normally pretty clean when I book here. This time it seemed like a rushed job. There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom and the tub could have been cleaner. The floor was very sticky as well.

The location was close to shopping places and the reason I came into town. Was able to get to family and make my way back with no problems. I was loving the convenience of it all. The breakfast was not breakfast. Coffee was good but there was no breakfast put out, one day was just bananas and the next was a honey bun. If you are providing breakfast for visitors it needs to be provided.

I liked how clean the property is Their check in times. Inside the facility, it says check in is at 2:00 but they never seem to have the room you paid for ready for you until almost 3:00. I feel like if I paid to able to stay somewhere I should have all the time I paid for.

The price, $65. The breakfast consisted of coffee and a Honey Bun, in the lobby. Entire hotel smelled like pot. Guests were very loud, with arguing. People hanging out in the parking lot.

Nothing Asked for king bed,but received a double bed. The shower handle fell off. The desk in the room was dirty, and one of cleaning lady was very rude when asked a question about clean towels. A lots of homeless people hanging around the parking lot.

I didn't like the breakfast there was nothing there and the neighborhood was for a homeless people always asking for money and everything else but far as inside and the hotel it was really nice Didn't really like the neighborhood to mean prostitutes in and outside of building

I really hate to give a bad review for any hotel I stay in, but if this rating could be in a negative number, I would've chosen that instead. This place was awful. First, the bathroom had a dirty, sticky black blob of something under the sink and when I accidently stepped on it it got stuck on my boot. I had to clean the goop of dirt on the floor along with the bottom of my boot to prevent it from smearing it all over the floor. Secondly, when we returned to the room the next day, the room was not cleaned at all nor were the towels were replaced. Their "complimentary breakfast" consisted of a stale cinnamon roll and coffee with powdered milk. We ended up going to the Walmart right next door to it and bought a few single serving bowls of cereal along with some milk for breakfast. The staff was rude and did not seem to care about my complaints. Apparently they must get so many of them they have become immuned to them.

It was a little dated but clean. I lived in the area when it was fairly new and it has really changed. There was no breakfast as stated online and the walls are super thin. The staff was nice and professional.

I brought a long, body pillow from home. Housekeeping took my pillow. I had to go to front desk to get it back, and then it was only the pillow, not the pillow case. I went back to front desk later and the lady who said she is in charge of all laundry claims there was no pillow and no pillow case is owed to me. Yes, it is just a pillow case. But the point is that housekeeping takes personal items from rooms.

I checked into the property and had to check out an hour later because the room was filthy. I couldn't even get a few hours of rest because the sheets were stained as if no one even attempted to clean and/or change the sheets.

I loved the fact that it was quoet and clean and i could smoke in my room. I did not like that the property does not have ironing birds or a closet and i couldnt the WIFI right. I didnt go tor luxury but convinience so i. 50/50 on this one.

The hotel was clean however the elevator has not been working for over a month. Non-smoking is on the 3rd floor and the room smelled so bad of smoke. Actually the whole hotel smelled of smoke. If your a smoker, then your probably ok with this problem.

Desk clerks were friendly and helpful. I requested a first floor room, smoke free but received a smoky one on the 3rd floor. The entrance is difficult for wheelchair access because it is installed backwards. So the entrance was a challenge.

This place is not good, the place was very dirty, the shower curtain looked like it was used outside. It was suppose to be a smoke free room but they put the smoke free rooms on the second floor sandwiched between 3 floors that smoked, and then there was still smoking on the second floor. It smelled so bad like butt hole the time I was there. Stay away.

Staff went above and beyond to help with extra needs for my business stay. Unfortunately, the refrigerator froze my food and I couldn't eat it for breakfast like I had planned.

Some of the lady’s at the front desk were very rude and not helpful. You can smell marijuana outside when you pull in the parking lot and you can smell it at the front desk all the time. Sometimes there isn’t anyone at the front desk to check in cause they are out front smoking pot. People that live there park in the handicap parking space and don’t even have handicap. It’s a okay hotel if you just staying in the area for a couple of days.

BEWARE bedbugs!!! We moved at 3 am to a different hotel because I got bit multiple times by bedbugs.

Was great, the rooms were neat and clean compared to all of the cheaper hotels I've been too. They really take care of the rooms, but that's said for only my room, I can't speak for the rest. Otherwise, amazing hotel for the price.

There were vagrants nearby (not on the hotel grounds) begging for money. On a positive note, there were no bugs and the housekeeping staff was pleasant.

so many issues with this location. First i get there & the room wasn't ready. The man at the front desk named josh was nice, however he charged me for the room and pet fee twice of 60.00. So he refunded me the whole amount & we had to wait till the money was refunded to process payment. We reserved a king size bed& he gave is a room with 2 beds. He said pets arnt allowed on the 2nd & 3rd floor. The pet was listed on our reservation. Also there was hairs in the bed. Then he called us 3 time more about the payment issue. We called the bank together & they said the money would be back in my account the next morning at 7am. He said to be in the lobby at 7am which i was. We spoke to Carolyn & she wanted to wait for Al the gm. After dropping the cat off we went back & took a nap. Then left again, Al then called me &wanted to know if i was coming back. I advised we were there till Saturday. We went picked the cat & went back to the hotel and wen to the front desk. The clerk had Al come down & spoke with me &my husband, & said the refund was processing and that wanted to wait till it went fully threw. I told him the money was in my account now he said he would contact us when he was ready to charge the card. AFTER we left today he charged my card for the wrong amount & with no discount as promised & the card was entered manually which means they wrote down my card.When i got home & told Anita what happed she hung up on me. I called my bank to cancel card.Terrible place and people.
