    I have stayed at this location several times. The location is convenient to the highway, is kept very clean and the staff is very pleasant. The beds are comfortable as well, and in the summer the AC keeps the room very cool. The motel does need a bit of an update, but the price is very affordable.

    I had reserved and paid for a non-smoking room with a queen bed (on hotels.com) before I arrived and then once I arrived I was told that they were sold out of non-smoking rooms with one bed ... but I could pay an upgrade fee of USD 6 per night to stay in a no-smoking room with a queen bed. So they charged me extra to stay in the room that I already reserved and paid for. I just tried to call to speak to manager but was told that I could call back in two days. Terrible customer service

    There was a hole in the wall. The microwave was just for display. The bathroom water was running 24/7. Sink tap was broken and when you open it it’s like a sprinkler system. The remote was dirty. Never ever saying in a motel again.

    The room was an incrdible mess. Microwave and Mini Fridge were filthy. The small dining table was off the stand. The door wouldn't lock and close too well. It looked as it had been mashed in at the top. Would stay away from this motel. The pictures on the website are very very inaccurate.

    The room had a broken toilet handled AC was holding up by wood. The customer service is bad the lady who run the places was so rude and nasty my money spend any where and nice clean rooms. I use to stay here when I was looking for a place to stay I didn't have kids then, but I will not be back here I will be sleep in my car with a husband, two kids, and my dog.

We had to push back on that silly logic and they caved and said nevermind. Also, the bathroom door was springloaded open and would not lstch shut and the shower wall had a hole in it. The microwave didnt work. Otherwise, it was about what we expected.

    It is a Motel 6 - but it is newly renovated with hardwood floors, the bathroom and bathtub looked brand new, very clean and quiet. All in all it is a good place for a nights stay if you are in the area - we used it as a home base for some concerts at the Hampton Coliseum. Worked out well.

    When I arrived I drove around the property but saw no indication of where the office was. I asked a cleaning person and he said "right here" and pointed to the room he had just came out of but it was a guest room. I called the place and the manager talked me around the turns to get me to the office. I got checked in and went to the room which was very well done, they seem to have started updating the property from the room interiors and left the exterior for a later time. The internet service was excellent, the TV was a dated item that needs Cox to get their service cleaned up to eliminate the constant interruptions. The driveway going in and out is littered with potholes that have had no attention in a very long time, my truck handled them okay but I wouldn't want to tackle them in a passenger car.

    I had booked a handicap room because I need a shower with rails or handles so that I don’t fall while getting in and out or in the process of showering. When I arrived at 2:30pm (1.5 hours after the check in time posted online and 30 minutes after the check in time posted at the motel) I was told that the room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm. I was then told that if I want a regular smoking room I could go ahead and check in. I explained that I did not want a smoking room and asked if there was a regular nonsmoking room I could get. I was told “no.” The guy working the desk started looking at his papers then said “I can give you room 309 (regular nonsmoking room) but I don’t know if it’s been cleaned yet and you may have to be there while it’s being cleaned.” I told him “okay, fine.” Thankfully when I got to the room it had already been cleaned. The condition of the room was not good, to say the least. Holes in the walls (even in the shower wall), built up dirt and grime by the light switches and the bathroom door, and refrigerator rusty and on its last leg.

    Unsafe! Worst hotel or motel I have stayed at in my life. The manager expected me to stay in a room with the latch to lock the door broken. I explained that the last time I stayed at a motel, someone tried to break into my room and that latch was the only thing that stopped them. He told me don't worry it's fine, no one will try to break in do not worry ma'am it's fine. As if he can guarantee that. He scolded me like a child and told me no switching next time. As if I would ever darken the doorway of this dump again. For him to be angry I wanted a door with functioning locks is ridiculous. Not to mention the inside is filthy and literally crumbling. I couldn't find a single area of that property I was comfortable walking my dog, trash was absolutely everywhere. Sleep in a 7-11 parking lot in your car over this place. You'll be safer and more comfortable. Motel 6 used to at least be clean and safe. Will be calling Motel 6 corporate and the BBB because this place shouldn't even be allowed to operating. Not with the condition of the building, and owners attitude.

The first woman put me in a room other than the one I had booked (unbeknownst to me, I dont work there) I really wasnt in the room until my shift ended before midnight. 630 am i go to renew. 2nd woman almost doesnt honor my 80 dollar booking stating she has none of the rooms i booked online. And that since its a different room i need to get ready to check out and come back at check in time. Over the course of at least an hour with side by side identical bookings and asking for a courtesy call (never came) she honored my stay with an additional early check in feed to remain in the same room which is apparently required every single stayovet.

    When we arrived the room was filthy and hair everywhere. We asked for a different room and was able to move. The toilet in the room didn’t flush. When we informed personnel we were given a plunger. Not very hospitable or kind. We won’t be back.

    Well let me say do not stay here so I called the night before I was going to stay at this hotel told them I had 1 service dog and 1 regular dog ask if there was any restrictions on dogs and the manager told me no you can have both of your dogs here at no cost so I get to the hotel then they proceed to tell me I can not have 2 dogs so after arguing with them about it they sit there and charge me $20. For my one pet but didn't put it as a pet fee they said I checked in early witch was a lie because I didn't get to the hotel until 9pm I came all the way from Florida the lady that checked me out in the morning said they should have never charged you for your 2nd dog because on hotels.com it states dogs not dog and that they told you it was ok for me to have 2 dogs and to top it all off the manager ask me to give them a good review I thought that was funny this place is runned down the beds are hard then I am on my room and I asked for a non smoking room and they gave me a smoking room and the shower pressure sucks hard to get your hair cleaned I would not waste your money and time don't stay here find a better hotel you will be very disappointed if you stay here

    A great change from my experiences with Motel 6 over 30 years ago. Spacious rooms, faux wood flooring instead of well-used carpets, clean, parking right in front of room.     A great change from my experiences with Motel 6 over 30 years ago. Spacious rooms, faux wood flooring instead of well-used carpets, clean, parking right in front of room. Not many amenities (shampoo and lotion etc.) but did have usb charging port by the bed on either side and a nice work area installed beneath the TV. I'll stay here again if in the Norfolk area.

    The bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress had rips and tears in it. The mattress was stained and did not seem clean. Also, the floor in the hotel room was very sticky. I checked out of the room a day early because I did not feel comfortable staying in such an unclean room.

    Upon arrival, check in was easy. Got to our room, microwave had been stolen and door previously kicked in and deadbolt would not latch. Went to front desk asked for another room. Had to wait first for maintenance to attempt to repair door. Could not be repaired, moved to another room. The new room was obviously a smoking room and I had paid for nonsmoking. It stunk. Went back to desk to ask for a room change because my children and I did not want to smell cigarette smoke and was told that it was not a smoking room but there was nothing they could do about people smoking in it previously and was given some febreeze spray. There is a difference between a room occasionally smoked in and one smoked in all the time. The spray did not help. Upon further examination of the room, turns out the mini fridge in this room did not work and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. At this point I gave up. We decided to spend as little time at our room as possible. But it doesn’t end there, on our final morning when we got up to leave, another guest of the motel (im assuming) decided to smash a beer bottle next to my car door which had to be removed from under my vehicle before I could leave. Worst motel experience ever!!!!!

    The staff tried to deny my son's military dependent ID saying that it was not a "real ID". That was the first of many issues we had with them some of the issues where; gum stuck to the night stand, dirty sheets, the door not shutting correct just to name a few. Don't waste your time staying here.

    This was horrible do not book! It does not look like the pictures. It had holes in the walls, cigarette smell, cigarette burns, broken toilet seat. It was so bad we went and bought out own blankets. It was a last minute trip for a funeral. We complained at the desk they just laughed.

    Hotel is in bad need of a remodel. Hotel room was so-so on the clean scale but it’s the most uncomfortable room I’ve ever stayed in. The mattress was way past its use by date so had springs pushing into me no matter how I slept. No shampoo or conditioner so had to forgo a shower. Chairs in room were wood, so also extremely uncomfortable. I’d give it a 1 star max rating, not a place I’d ever stay at again.

    Visiting family for the holidays. Booked a double queen room for 4 adults. We were only supplied with 2 towels and when asked the office for 2 more towels we were told no. The beds are like laying on cinder blocks.

    They have over 500 room and crowd everyone in one spot. Management charges miscellaneous charges so you end up paying 85 to 90 a night for one room. When even the sign on the building advertises that its 59.99 a night. Just very rude Management

    The front desk person" lydia" I think is her name is.i pay extra to get a 2nd key and left it at The front desk so when my gf got there she would have a key.well 45 mins later I get a call from my gf stating the front lady refuses to give her the key I just paid for.so I call up there an this woman is way outta control cussing at me and refused to let me talk then she hangs up on me.so I call the 1-800 number for customer support and explain what's going on.they tell me there going call the motel 6 and find out what is going on.so they say we will call u back in 5 mins.one min later they call me and say the front desk person yelled at them an also hung the phone up on her also.so they gave me another number to call an start a complaint against this motel 6 not only was I instructed to file but the ppl I first called said they were also filing a complaint against"Lydia". I've spent over$1900 at this hotel alone and for that front desk person to treat me and my gf that way is ridicules.ive had no problems with any other employees at this motel 6.all of them no me by my first name and no that I cause no problem with them or other guest.
