Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and well-located, with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. However, many guests have complained about small rooms, poor maintenance, and inadequate seating during breakfast. Some guests have also reported issues with parking, long wait times for customer service, and rude staff.

The double room was absolutely tiny. 2 adults and 2 suitcases was an extremely tight squeeze and was not a comfortable fit. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had everything we needed. Coffee machine in room didn’t work so no hot water for tea either. Breakfast really let the hotel down. Paper plates and plastic cutlery (even paper cups in the bedroom) made for a very cheap feel. Toast, bagels or waffles were fine, however the mystery eggs and meat were not great / often ran out. Staff lovely but quality of room and breakfast really let this hotel down.

The property is in a good location the lobby was nice there is no microwave in the room the mini fridge was on the floor , there was a cockroach on the night stand. There was only one mini bar of soap provided for three nights we call front desk and they provided more the breakfast was nice with eggs sausage and waffles and an assortment of juices

Hotel muito bom e os funcionários são ótimos,
- 5/5
Breakfast was a good selection. Hot eggs, breakfast meat, French toast sticks, waffle maker, bagels, cereal hot and cold, juices. Beds were comfortable. Room is tiny for 4 people as is the bathroom but for the city it is understandable. Staff were all super helpful.
- 4/5
Good location. Very very nice, helpful staff.
- 2/5
Rooms are tiny, but the state of repair is the real concern. Blinds don't go all the way down (and there is a building across the street that keeps their bright lights on all night), lights don't work in the rooms. The area is also very, very noisy.
- 3/5
Stay was adequate for over night one night stay only
- 3/5
The room was very small. Housekeeping only cleaned our room one day in 6 days. Breakfast was not great. But , beds were comfortable and location was good for our plans.
- 4/5
Air worked great. Clean room nice staff
- 5/5
I would suggest that the breakfast area be expanded or adjusted a bit, as it was very difficult for more than a couple of people to be in the area at the same time. Overall, great value and great hotel.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, free breakfast, and close proximity to the Manhattan cruise terminal. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
I wish I would have realized the room was so small. To open the door to the room you had to push it past the end of the bed. Very tight cramped area

- 5/5
This hotel, that was the best mishap ever. Thank you all for being such a gracious staff, so professional and so accommodating. Anytime I come to New York I am staying here and telling all friends and family.
- 5/5
The breakfast is basic and there is sometimes no seating space left in the dining area, but I preferred taking the breakfast back to my room. Having a fridge in the room was a massive help. The rooms are small, but very well equipped.
- 1/5
Bad toilet in the first room, i complained then they switched to other room. Couldn't sleep all through the night. Due to heat and dust gave me bad allergies
- 3.5/5
The rooms are too small. Towel refreshments were not done correctly per person.

Have to fight for food every morning at breakfast. Tiny space and tiny portions for 30+ people at most times. Rooms are cruise ship size. Very small. 80 rooms and staff share one small elevator. Frustrating. Hotel identifies with Times Square, but is 15 minute walk away. However, beds were comfortable and location was pretty good. Was an adequate stay at reasonable price.

nice staff, clean rooms, easily accessible location

Breakfast was also poorly managed, with insufficient seating and food not being replenished on time, leaving many guests waiting with nothing to eat. Hope the hotel will improve these issues for future guests.

The Wi-Fi is too slow to use. The breakfast area is very small with few chairs. The bathroom toilet is leaking water. The hotel location is good.
- 2/5
The shower could have been a little cleaner and saw what look like a water mark in wall by room door. Walls look like wall paper was on it the property could have been more updated as much as it cost per night. The staff was fine just room was very small and not spacious. Don’t think I would stay there again
- 4/5
There's clean and close to the main attraction from the hotel

I was definitely surprised by how clean and organized this hotel was . The staff was welcoming and helpful and easy check in and check out. The room was clean and very nice. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Reasonable rates!!
- 2/5
We booked 2 rooms for 2 separate nights in advance for three adults. The rooms were super tiny to a point where it was hard for us to fit our luggage. Smelled weird. At one of them AC didn’t work. Someone had to come fix it. Breakfast was VERY BAD. But my mane complain is how small the rooms were.
- 3.5/5
Good position. It’s a 10-15 minutes walk from Times Square. The staff was very cordial and responsive. The neighbourhood is nice and quite. It is also close to many good restaurants and bars. The room was too small for 2 people. We basically had no space for our luggages. Since we were there for a week it was quite challenging to manage the space. The breakfast was also very poor.

The location was fine. 15 minutes away from Times Square. This hotel was a major disappointment, especially for the price. The property is clearly old, and it shows everywhere: tiny rooms, cramped bathrooms, and stained carpets that made the space feel far from clean. The overall condition of the room gave the impression that upkeep simply isn’t a priority. The location is also problematic. Being right next to a garage means constant traffic, and taxis struggled to pull over, which made coming and going unnecessarily stressful. But the breakfast experience was the worst part. The room was overcrowded, the food selection was extremely limited, and items ran out so quickly that guests were left waiting for basic things to be replenished. There weren’t enough chairs, so people ended up sharing tables with strangers just to sit down. It felt chaotic and poorly managed. To make matters worse, the staff repeatedly knocked on our door before checkout time, pushing us to leave even though we were still within the allowed window. Being interrupted three times was intrusive and unprofessional. Overall, this stay felt like a series of avoidable frustrations. For a hotel that isn’t cheap, the experience fell far below expectations. I would not recommend it.
- 5/5
Clean room, good breakfast and comfortable
- 5/5
Standard american breakfast, so nothing special. The room was nice and clean. A bit small, but it's okay if you are planning to spend most of your time in NYC outside. AC was good and surprisingly quiet. Big TV screen with premium channels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Assisted me to navigate my route to the JFK. Walking distance to the Intrepid museum, subway,Times Square, restaurants, mini markets, Whole Foods, bars. Excellent value for the price. Will certainly stay there again.

Breakfast was good. Staff were professional and helpful. The cleanliness of the room could surely be improved, but the overall the hotel is good for the price point.
- 4/5
Breakfast was okay, but I loved the new waffle flavors. The air conditioner didn't really work well, and the room was kind of cramped, but overall, it was a good stay for the price!
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable. The rooms were way too small. The daily breakfast was a joke. One of the main reasons we booked at this hotel was for a free breakfast. It's not that we expected a huge amount of options, but at least keep what you do offer full with enough to serve everyone. Our first morning there, we got downstairs around 8:00 and all of the hot items were completely empty. And the coffee was just brown water. Seriously, all three roasts...light, medium and dark roasts were just brown water. We did not bother trying the other three mornings we were there. We found a lovely market down the road that we loved.

- 1/5
At check-in, the front desk person was rogue and rude. In my room on the towel I put on the floor in the bathroom a few hours later I noticed a mouse dropping on my towel on the floor. The coffee maker had bits of either coffee or loose tea bag bits in it because the water contain those dark bits in it. The toilet would not flush properly. I was offered another room the next day for a free state. That room was smaller than the original room I paid for. The bathroom was beat up and nasty looking like it needed a overhaul. Overall a very terrible stay and a waste of my money.
- 4/5
Though the rooms were very small, they were also very clean. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. This was a good place to rest after traveling around the city.
- 2/5
I stayed here for four nights. The hotel is clean and the location is excellent—very close to Times Square, which was convenient for my conference. However, the biggest issue—and the reason I would not return—is the internet. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, especially when you plan to work. Unfortunately, it did not work in the rooms at all. It only worked on the ground floor, forcing me to go downstairs very early in the morning or late at night just to get a connection. I was given a code, yet the networks didn’t even require a password, which raised security concerns. I reported the issue multiple times during my stay. Each time, I was told someone would look into it, but nothing was ever fixed. At one point, I was even told there was nothing they could do. I also gave them a fair opportunity to address this. There was a sign encouraging guests to leave Google reviews, so I asked the staff directly—more than once—if they believed they deserved a good rating given the situation. They acknowledged the issue and understood my frustration, but no action was taken. It felt like the problem was known and simply accepted. Breakfast was acceptable, but the hours (6:30–9:30 AM) are quite limited. Overall: clean and well-located, but the lack of working internet and unresolved issues made the stay frustrating. I would not return and cannot recommend it.

Great Location in Hells Kitchen, everywhere walkable
- 4/5
Our room was small, but clean, better than average for a typical NYC hotel. The biggest problem was that wifi did not work in our room. We had to use the very crowded breakfast area to do our online work; having to do this was quite unpleasant, especially since we stayed there 3 nights. The staff was excellent, but even with continuing promises that the wifi would be fixed in our room, it wasn't. The manager spoke with us on our last morning, apologizing for this, but if one wants or needs wifi in one's room, I would suggest staying at a different hotel.
- 4/5
Location to NYC attractions was good. The room was nice and surprisingly quiet! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast wasn't great. Very salty. The room was very small but expected that from a city hotel

The location is great, and the price is very reasonable for the area. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the front desk staff were very helpful during check-in. The only downside was a strong odor, likely from the cleaning products—it reminded me of carpet powder my grandmother used before vacuuming. I wish a more neutral-scented sanitizer had been used.
- 5/5
Very nice location
- 5/5
WiFi was weak which made it near impossible to work. Outside that this place is excellent value, clean, friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was fresh and they mixed it up. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

Breakfast was NOT good. The coffee tasted like mud. I actually Spit it out. The juice was watery. The sausage and eggs were ok. The butter was hard
- 4.5/5
You are actually very far from Times Square. Not convenient to transit.
- 3/5
If you just want a place to sleep at night after exploring the city, this would be the place. Extra small rooms, but clean and not too far from Time Square. The breakfast is what would be expected of a budget hotel, extremely simple, but can get you through the morning. The room is for 2 people max, 3 definitely will not fit.
- 5/5
Easy check in
- 5/5
- 1/5
Breakfast was terrible - overcooked and salty Rooms are terrible and I had to use a hotspot my entire stay
- 4/5
A/c in the rooms are quite dated and it was hard to get the temp in the room comfortable through the night and the ceiling light flashed on and off (security?) which sometimes waked me. Other than that the beds and bedding was comfortable and the bathroom okay. Given the room was quite small, they did a good job putting everything in reasonable location and giving priority to two comfy double sized beds. We originally booked this hotel as we thought we could walk to our cruise pier in Manhattan but after we booked they changed the pier to Brooklyn. Its a good location to Times Square and several good eateries are within 6 blocks walk, including a tasty bagel bakery/cafe shop. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Breakfast was cheap and processed. Just had a serving area in the lobby and half the time spent waiting for food because it was all empty

Half mile from Times Square They didn’t give wash clothes in the shower.
- 5/5
We only participated in the breakfast 1 time due to it being pretty rough. The waffles were dry and the sausage very plasticity. Not enough room to move around and be confortable.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The air conditioning/ heat was very hard to control . I was put in a room that was next to a room being repaired and it was very loud…
- 2.5/5
Nice staff and breakfast Rooms really small
- 1/5
It was dirty with pills and bloody wrapped up paper,. Maybe a pad. I didn’t open it. No soap in the bathroom and stains of blood by the window. Didn’t stay, and the front desk is fighting me for a refund. Immediately left and booked another room in a different hotel with my 3 kids
- 4/5
Breakfast was not refilled in a timely manner. On the second day of our trip they ran out of food items and didn't have any protein (bacon, sausage). This was at 8am, breakfast ran till 9:30 supposedly. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Overall a good value.

- 4/5
The room was cozy and clean.
- 2/5
Was really disappointed. Pictures were misleading. The included breakfast was ok in that I enjoyed talking with other guests, felt like a bed and breakfast. Other that… really tiny rooms and misleading pictures. Especially did not like how uncomfortable and uninviting the entrance is. No one helps with luggage and to take in or out of hotel is really cumbersome. What I least liked was how much I was charged for what little I received.
- 3.5/5
Very clean and modern. Breakfast was ?, staff were lovely and very professional. Bathroom needed some tlc, grip bar coming out of the wall.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent service. Everyone was very helpful and understanding. We had a great stay!
- 5/5
The Hotel hospitality was awesome. The staff was welcoming and willing to help with all need Need an microwave in the room
- 4/5
A little small but good
- 3/5
Breakfast was fine. A large student group ahead of us cleared out a lot of the stock so we didn't get much. The ac was fine but didn't regulate the tem really well. We had it set at 70 and heat/auto and it didn't go above 65 all night. The window in the room must have been made of extremey thin glass because from the fifth floor we could hear street-level conversations word for word - and they were not yelling. The tour guide yelling at his student group at 9:30 pm was incredibly annoying.
- 2/5
This hotel is listed as Times Square. It is actually located in Hell's Kitchen, closest to 11th Ave. There are no security features in this hotel besides a single desk worker. Room keys are not needed to enter the elevator. My room was in severe disrepair. AC unit was duct taped to the wall, and ser at 51 degrees by staff. It ran once overnight. The single lampshade was ripped in several places. All of the picture frames in my room and bathroom were broken. The shower had cracked, black grout. I was provided with 2 hand towels and a bathmat; not a single body towel or washcloth. Bottom line, I did not feel safe or clean in this space. I will not stay here again.
- 5/5
I work early starting a 5am and staff always helps me by getting my room taken care of early so when i return I have a fresh made up room
- 1/5
On the first night, we were given a room on the first floor, right next to the lobby and breakfast area. It was surprising that a room is located directly by the main entrance—we could hear everything, which made it very noisy and uncomfortable. For the second night, the staff kindly moved us to a different room, which significantly improved our experience. However, breakfast was another disappointment. On the first morning, we noticed that once the initial rush of guests had eaten, the food was not replenished properly. By around 9:00 a.m., there was very little left available, leaving us with almost nothing to eat. Overall, it was not a good experience. While the staff did their best, the property clearly needs more investment and better management. I would not choose to stay here again.
- 4/5
Very American breakfast and you get to make your own waffles
- 3.5/5
It was clean, good size room, proximity to subway. Good size beds Breakfast was minimal and from that too it kept running out of few items. Seating at breakfast was insufficient. So if you are expecting UK type lavish English Breakfast, it was no where even close. Issues with bookingdotcom- You get cheaper prices at a lot of other places. I am a regular at this site. even if they say this bit it does not give you any discounts etc for being a premium member.
- 4/5
Did not take breakfadt. Always booked this hotel because within walking distance of cruise terminals but also walking distance of main venues in Manhattan
- 4/5
Good breakfast. Helpful staff save one person. The safety bar in our shower was halfway off the shower wall. Seems like maintenance was behind but they were working on it.
- 4/5
Good location, Staff was welcoming, breakfast was limited but always provided.

- 4/5
Overall very pleasant stay. Nice hotel convenient location. Very good value. The room was small but it was good for what we needed. Would stay there again. Nothing negative to say really. The elevator gets busy during check-in/out time, but it wasn't anything major.
- 5/5
I stayed for three nights for work. It was great. Next to plenty of places to eat or buy snacks. It would be great for tourists who don't mind walking an extra couple of blocks to Times Square, etc. It's on a quiet street. Good, small room with the perfect amenities: coffee maker, microwave, fridge, iron, hair dryer, tv. What more could one want?
- 5/5
Yes, shops close. Internet slow.

Location was GREAT! Close to Time Square and all restaurants. Very convenient ? I don’t have any complaints. It served its purpose and I was able to find available rooms during the blizzard

The receptionist was super friendly, 100 points for her! Breakfast included Three cleaning staff members came to ask if we were leaving the room at 11. They don't have a log, so why bother them every 10 minutes? The first cleaning assistant was super rude; she opened the door without knocking. I was naked. She asked me something, and I told her why she opened the door, that she didn't have to do that, and she left me talking to myself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful stay — clean, comfortable, and incredibly accommodating I really enjoyed my stay at the Times Square Center Hotel. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the entire staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. Due to a canceled flight, I had to unexpectedly extend my stay, and the staff could not have been more accommodating or understanding during what could have been a stressful situation. That kindness truly made a difference. The continental breakfast was great, with a nice variety of options each morning. One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was the lobby and dining area — it felt spacious, relaxed, and never overly crowded. Compared to the neighboring Holiday Inn, it was noticeably calmer and more comfortable, which I really appreciated after long days in the city. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely stay here again on future trips to New York. Highly recommended.

We booked three rooms for our group for an overnight stay due to a fight cancellation. We were so impressed with the hotel location the facility considering the price is so affordable. The staff was really courageous, letting us store our luggage prior to checking in time and also help us with directions to the local area. We will definitely stay here again when we visit New York.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient from start to finish. The hotel’s location was quiet yet ideal for getting around, which made it easy to relax while still being close to everything I needed. Breakfast was good with a nice choice. The only downside was that the rooms were on the smaller side, but for a short stay it wasn’t a major issue.

Thank You so much for a great stay! I really enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was also so freindly and helpful. My flight was cancelled due to the snow storm and I was forced to extend my stay two nights but they were very helpful and accommodating. I also love their lobby and breakfast area as it wasn't super crowded. My room was very clean, warm and not noisy at all which was so nice. I'll be back soon! Thank You!

The staff was rude and complete disappointment in customer service. I don’t recommend this hotel for a budget motel. It’s a cheap imitation and that’s saying a lot. The staff needs to be trained. My customer service from the very beginning absolute abysmal.

Wonderful location and welcoming staff. Room was clean and had just what you needed for an overnight stay. The hotel held our bags after we checked out so we could go to a show. I would definitely stay again!

Room is very clean, carpet looks like it should be replaced. The toilet wouldn’t flush-I took the lid off and fixed it! And the sink drain is very slow. The front desk guy, Eric was very nice and directed us to a good pizza spot.

Very convenient location, was also affordable. Time square and most theater halls are within walking distance. The rooms are small but comfortable and suffice for sightseeing. We had an enjoyable stay here and would book here again if returning to NY.

When we arrive, we didn't get a happy greeting and then when we got to the room, we just knew that it was large enough to host some guess if they were to come over. It looks like we have to take it to the hallway that's how small the rooms were. We stayed at other Comfort Inns and they had room in there, but this was our first New Year's Eve close to Time Square, but we were in NEW YORK they do nothing small but now I see different. We will not be back to this hotel, but you wouldn't worry about me you have other that might have love it there but not ME. Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR

The rooms are extremely small and poorly maintained. The cleanliness was far below an acceptable standard, with dirt, hair, and food remnants left in the room upon arrival. This created an unpleasant first impression and made the stay uncomfortable. The internet connection was very limited and practically unusable. When we raised this issue at the reception, we were told that “this is just how it is,” with no attempt to resolve the problem or offer any form of compensation. The level of service was therefore disappointing and unprofessional. Overall, a very disappointing stay, and unfortunately not a hotel I can recommend.

Beds so close to door.... very small room. Also, elevator not working properly. Otherwise good, very nice shower and good location. Carpet on floors needs to be changed to wood also....carpet....YUKKY!!!
- 3/5
The room was very small and no way would have accommodated 4 adults. There are no drawers or proper wardrobe in the room and no safe. House keeping was poor had to ask twice at reception towel change. For what we paid it was ok
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 1/5
The internet connection was useless during the whole stay. Breakfast food was really low-quality and there was not enough seating for everyone.
- 3/5
TV did not work, said it was offline. I reported to front desk every day and they said they would send someone but never was fixed, at least not while we stayed.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Breakfast included was a big plus.
- 1/5
I never checked in!! The staff was rude and the property was not clean! I left and checked into another hotel. The way the front desk person spoke to me was absolutely horrible. I will never book with you again. I also will leave a review about the hotel. I lost $600 !!!!
- 1/5
the lobby was consistently loud until at least one in the morning we had to call and complain. I’m a light sleeper. I could hear the microwave going off at two in the morning….set up in the 6 hour needless to say, I hardly slept The line for breakfast was ridiculous so we just ended up leaving and going to the bakery around the corner because there was a tourist group from France which made things even more horrible at 7am we we’re planning on staying in our room till 10 in the morning but we left by 8:30 because the noise was ridiculous
- 4/5
The hotel was pretty clean, room was a tad small but we didn’t spend a ton of time there. Location felt safe
- 3/5
The heater stopped working at night and there was no solution but to wait until the next morning. At least they could have offered us a blanket or something. At the end it never worked. The staff is somehow friendly though.
- 1/5
Elevator broken and we were on the third floor and the lights in the room had no covers on them.

- 5/5

Very noisy , cold room . Breakfast was horrible.
- 5/5
Loved everything, but the internet could be a bit faster.
- 5/5
Excellent place for the price
- 1/5
When I arrive the staff was rude to me. I had to wait over an hour for my room to be ready. I was so tired from a trip. Then they put me towards the front of the hotel. Which by the way was terrible because all you hear is the cars and trucks all night long. Didn’t get absolutely no sleep. When I was leaving in the morning. They just came into the room without nocking and it was only 9 am. I was undress and raised my voice and let them know I was still in the room. For the price I paid to stay. Was not worth the headache. At All. Will never ever stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice rooms and terrific location. Staff was wonderful and very professional.
- 5/5
Exceeded our expectations.
- 5/5
Very good hotel, nobody ever bothered us room service was amazing and always checking up on us and asking if we needed anything. And the hotel was only 15min walking distance from time square.
- 3/5
Our stay was just ok. The location was the only good thing . Hotel was quiet which was very helpful coming back from being out in the city. Long wait times for breakfast , toaster didn’t work. Housekeeping also never came in to our room , we never got our towels changed and the trash taken out in the 3 days that we were there. I probably won’t be back again
- 5/5
They let us keep our luggage in the hotel lobby after checking out because we had a show at 2. Really friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Our family stayed here afrw days prior to our cruise.
- 1/5
Bowl has stain of poop and the key card doesn’t work
- 5/5
The room is clean. The staffs are very helpful.
- 4/5
Clean hotel/room near Times Square in a nice safe neighborhood. Very walkable to many attractions.
- 4/5
The hotel was just perfect in every other way. So comfy beds, room clean and breakfast included. 15 mins walk to Times Square and subway.
- 3/5
Our door did not match the door frame and we could easily open our room just by sliding a credit card into the door frame and our door would pop open We didn’t like that. Overall the room was a place to sleep and shower while visiting NYC.
- 5/5
We used this hotel because it was walking distance from the Cruise Port in Manhattan. It was also close to a bus line and subway. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and Time Square was just a 10 minute walk. We spent a couple of days here and will be using it for our future cruises.
- 5/5
Really , really friendly and helpful staff

Friendly staff, great location, great value.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good. Just lack of flavor. The staff was absolutely nice! The rooms were clean! The air conditioning was good. When I turn it to heating, it shuts off and never turns on again. Other than that, sweet hotel!
- 5/5
The room was spotless.
- 4/5
Clean
- 3/5
Room was always well kept and cleaned everyday. Best to get to breakfast early as there's limited seating in the lobby area.
- 5/5
Room was clean and it’s a quick walk to time square
- 5/5
Rooms are just what you need! Small but that’s expected in NYC. Free breakfast though the breakfast area can get crammed. Staff was very nice and courteous! Great area nearby by restaurants and shops. 18-22 minute walk to Time Square!
- 5/5
Room was smaller than expected
- 3/5
Room was clean and tidy
- 4/5
Room was very tight. Not enough seating in lobby. Breakfast was just okay.
- 3/5
Also, an additional deposit was charged prior to our arrival and uncredited as explained to me that after our check, they would release the funds 7 days later. Hotel room was clean to be fair.
- 2/5
When we checked in I felt like we were a bother. So much banging on doors. The noise was horrible. I hated it. The room was so cold and I couldn’t get it to warm up
- 5/5
There is a lot of work going on outside but it’s temporary. Good location, rooms super small, beds uncomfortable, but the night clerk that checked us in at midnight was very pleasant.
- 4/5
Good room with tea/coffee maker, fridge and daily supplies. Location a few blocks walk from Times Square. Although we had breakfast included, the breakfast area is small and gets quickly crowded, we abandoned breakfast most days of our stay as there was no seating available, this was disappointing as we chose this hotel specifically because it provided a simple breakfast selection.
- 5/5
Staff here very nice & accommodating. Room was clean. Heat & A/C worked well. Breakfast food was cold, although there was a variety. Seating limited. Iced lemon water available in lobby throughout day. I would stay here when I come to the City again. Thank you.
- 3/5

Breakfast was pretty good tbh... waffles, sausage, egg etc. Fruit juice and coffee was quite good also. Overall a good experience and i would book again.
- 5/5
Able to drop off luggage before checking in, very good breakfast, welcoming staff, and a very good location in Manhattan - this Comfort Inn had everything I wanted for a pleasant stay in New York
- 3/5

The staff was wonderful and the room was clean and everything worked!
- 4/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 3/5
Requested check in before 3 ( normal check in time) because we had an appt across town and need the change clothes for it. Although we were around since 930 am room became available 230… and luggage was STORED sitting around the lobby unsecured
- 5/5
Small but clean rooms.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5

- 5/5
Rooms were clean and the staff were great. Perfect location and the do luggage hold! I’d stay here again!
- 5/5
All of the above!
- 5/5
We had a change to a larger room cos our bath glass door was ajar and the hotel staff was on hand to facilitate the shift. Awesome.
- 5/5
Location ok
- 4/5
Room view was amazing. The room could use an update though. The wallpaper was 2 different types of beige and you could tell the bathroom was aged. We were able to store our luggage there since we arrived early, but wasn't able to do early check-in. Woke up super early so dont have anything to say about the breakfast. The AC worked great, we were also able to open the window slightly. Overall good for a 1 night stay. The hotel is pretty far from the subway station...about a 16min walk to the closest station.
- 3/5
Rooms are small, no storage space at all so be ready for that. Breakfast was very average but not awful.
- 3/5
The evening staff in particular were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was okay and was apportioned well especially for such a small space. The hot water in the shower was HOT (which I appreciated so much). Our bed was terrible. The mattress was beyond worn.
- 4/5
Breakfast wad ideal but just need a couple of more tables at pesk times. Of seats for those just waiting in reception snd not having breakfast.
- 4/5
The breakfast was ok. We were taking a cruise so it was very convenient.
- 4/5
We didn’t do breakfast had to leave way before.room was good but the pillows could stand to be better, the heater needs to be worked on sounds like a airplane taking off all night
- 4/5
Clean room, with coffee/tea making facilities. Comfortable beds, clean comfortable sheets, ensuite shower facilities, air con and window that opened.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Great experience! Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Pleasantly surprised. Room was not large - but not many in NYC are. Good shower and the bed was pretty comfortable. Loved the many bed pillows. Good location - two long blocks to 9th Avenue in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Great price point for New York City.
- 5/5
Regular breakfast
- 4/5
AC unit was loud.
- 5/5
Reception was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Our room - standard hotel room. Basic breakfast choices but tea & coffee available 24hr. Suitcase storage available. Convenient location, close to the cruise terminal and USS Intrepid and short walk to Broadway area. Lots of food options short walk to 8th or 9th street.
- 3/5
The breakfast was marginal at best.
- 1/5
I’ve never in my life heard of a hotel putting a hold for the full amount of the room on your account and then subsequently charging the full amount at check in. Here I am 24 hours later with double the cost of the room out of my account. When I addressed this with the front desk they said it would take 24 hours which has turned out not to be true.
- 4/5
Walls and windows made of paper very noisy.
- 1/5
The check in was terrible, you don't get 24 hours for your money, you travel a long exhausting way just for some unconcerned kid to make you sit for hours ,it's amazing all rooms become available at 3 that has lost you customers i'm a choice member
- 3/5
Stay was fine, the beds were so hard.
- 2/5
Our toilet would only flush once an hour due to low water flow. Our shower was a trickle because if you turned it on full volume it would scald you. This was the worst hotel we have ever experienced.
- 5/5
- 4/5
Very nice and quiet. Close to cruise port.
- 5/5
Great location. Hotel checked all amenities boxes, plus breakfast! Seven of us were gone all day walking the city, and we slept well each night and were ready for the next day’s adventures! Fatima at the front desk is the best!!
- 4/5
Everything was nice just smaller than I thought. Staff was very friendly and accommodating
- 5/5
Amazing view from our room, short walk to Carnival Cruise pier
- 5/5
Everything in walking distance. Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Had a great time this is a perfect little hotel outside of all the tourist areas
- 5/5
They booked our transfers to the airport same price as a cab and we got a private town car it was great. Breakfast was great-WiFi was good as well.
- 4/5
staff were very helpful and approachable, wi-fi was very good, a reasonable and enjoyable walking distance to shops and attractions, over all we had an excellent, memorable and awesome family holiday in NYC
- 5/5
Very very nice room
- 4/5
Good price for the location and breakfast. My only complaint is the curtain. You need a blackout curtain.
- 5/5
Also super close to the centre of NY, you can walk to Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center all in less than 15 minutes. A really good place to stay. Reasonable rates for such a good location, breakfast included. But make sure you get in early as there is a very well used Waffle machine, you. may have to wait a few minutes to use it! Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. You can leave your luggage if you want to go out after check in. There is no baggage room, but you leave it in the centre of the reception area - we were not overly keen on this but left it for a short time. Good room though a bit small, but for overnight stays, when you don't unpack you suitcase, it's ideal. We would recommend this as being a great location for the cruise terminal and for short stays to visit NY.
- 5/5
Nothing fancy but was walking distance to cruise Pier and Hells Kitchen area. Staff was nice and let us store our luggage until check in time. Will definite stay again in future.
- 5/5
Hotel room was clean, service was great as well as the location.
- 5/5
Clean room

- 4/5
The hotel is close to so many little shops, restaurants! and was a short walk to Times Square. Inside our room, it seemed pretty cramped and the bathroom had a strong odor but we made it work. Upon arrival, the staff were always friendly and welcoming. As a tip, the hotel doesn’t have parkings so we parked at ICON parking which was a three minute walk and we reserved parking for 2 days using the SpotHero App.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable, and affordable.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
4 block walk to The Daily Show and 2 blocks to the Landmark Tavern, both were excellent.
- 5/5
Good experience.
- 4/5
Room so small had to put suitcase on windowsill. But had everything coffee and bathroom Staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
The hotel was a quick and safe walk to Times Square. Rooms were small.
- 2/5
There was a very bright flood light on outside our window and the shades had 2 inch gaps on ether end so it was like daylight in our room all night, No clean towels day 2, sheets were very old and gross. our secure luggage storage was actually the breakfast area- not secure at all. The shower rod was installed wrong so water went everywhere. Glad we only stayed 2 nights!
- 2/5
We asked fr a cab and the desk clerk said she would order one for us. When we arrived to get the taxi she told us it was the 'white' one. I was confused as most taxi's in NYC are yellow. I asked where the meter was; no meter he said. So I asked the price for us to go 5 blocks to a restaurant to meet family. $40.00! An argument ensued. The desk clerk and the company obviously have this scam set up and she probably gets a cut from each taxi ride taken. Totally unscrupious! My partner spoke to the hotel manager when we returnedand she sais the hotel could not call any other taxi company. A rude awakening to NYC! This Hotel, Comfort Inn, should be censured.
- 4/5
Very expensive for the small room but that’s New York. The stay was fine but unremarkable
- 4/5
Not great
- 5/5
A estadia foi super tranquila, os atendentes se esforçaram para me entender e ajudar, com certeza voltaria.
- 5/5
There was no safe to store our valuables
- 3/5
Great location , clean , friendly , awesome free breakfast but rooms very small , internet was bad and very slow , no refri as advertised when I book the room 2 months before !
- 3/5
The location of the hotel was good and the staff were nice but the room size was very small for 3 people or two double beds. There was no place to move in the room. Also no place or table to keep the suitcases and also no proper place to hang clothes.
- 4/5
The Wi-Fi was very spotty. I had to constantly have my devices "forget" it and go through the process over, including watching a commercial for Jo-Ann's over and over again.
- 2/5
.
- 3/5
Neighborhood, and poor breakfast
- 4/5
Absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Our room was on the first floor next to the lobby and breakfast area. It was noisy in the middle of the night with guests coming and going, and the breakfast crowd came early! We heard the ding -ding bell of the waffle maker starting at dawn and barely slept all night. The room was expensive, loud, and tiny! Disappointed to say the least.
- 4/5
Great stay at Comfort Inn Manhattan! Perfect location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, easy check in!
- 1/5
Me cancelaron mi reservacion el mismo dia de mi llegada al hotel, avisandome ese mismo dia. Cuando llegue al hotel no me resolvieron nada y ya habian ocupado mi habitacion. Un pesimo servicio!
- 2/5
I like the in room fridge and microwave and the big bed. I hated the lack of internet service in my room. A huge dissappointment.
- 4/5
The young man at the front desk Fri 8-22-25 pm was so nice & helpful. We stayed in room 102. Clean & nice. No problems but it was off the lobby so that made it convenient but a little noisy. The room was comfortable but the water pressure was weak in the sink & shower. Otherwise, I like the location & accessiblity.
- 2/5
The stuff was not very welcoming, judgmental
- 3/5
Had a lot of problems with the WiFi not working. Ended up having to pay for data because it didn’t work.
- 3/5
The bed and space was small. AC didn’t work properly.
- 3/5
Stayed for 3 nights to take a class in the city. The room size was okay for a single queen, price felt a little high. There was a mini fridge in the corner of the room with a microwave on top, and ironing board and iron. A small desk. A big TV and the best part, the bed and pillows (5 stars for the pillows!) were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom shower could have been a bit cleaner, but I think it was just a bit old. All in all, presentation (microwave on top of minifridge on the floor) aside, it had everything I needed - a very very comfortable bed, with clean sheets and great pillows, enough space to relax after all day dance classes, a shower that worked, and a mini fridge to keep drinks cold during a bot summer stay. I could see how it might not be super quiet if you had noisy neighbors, but I was lucky that everyone around me was quiet. Lobby sells snacks and drinks - they might want to consider selling umbrellas. Anyway I'm glad I stayed here. It's a 10min walk from Times Sq. Shorter to the subway.
- 4/5
Wish it were a little closer to subways.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Great places and easy to go to Time square walking.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Excellent location if you are catching a cruise at Piers 88 and 90. Close to Times Square, theatres and restaurants. Intrepid museum less than 20 minutes walk away. Room was clean and comfortable but on the small side. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Convenient, close to other locations, small room and breakfast was good if you are there before they run out of items. Rooms are small and don’t have enough room for all luggage. Parking is nearby and a little pricey
- 3/5
The hotel room was dirty/gross. Stains on the walls and carpet. There was lack of deep cleaning and scrubbing. Light fixtures did not work. Old, sme
- 4/5
Price
- 4/5
The room was nice but extremely tiny. I was unfortunately placed on the first floor right next to the front desk and could hear absolutely everything going on in the lobby. Not the best for light sleepers as there were constantly people talking loudly at all hours especially late at night when people were going back to their rooms after a night out. All in all though I would stay here again as long as the room is not on the first floor:)
- 1/5
Dissappointed
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time! Most importantly, we felt safe. But every interaction we had with staff was cheerful, warm, and helpful. Only 2 problems: they ran out of hand soap and I got to bread
- 4/5
Booked a king bed and it was the shortest king bed I’ve ever seen. I’m 5’7 and with my head on the head board my feet hung over the end. Very uncomfortable. The breakfast was so unorganized and with how busy it was there was such limited amounts of food.
- 5/5
Conveniently located hotel in NYC near Times Square. Small room, as expected for NYC, but that was OK for just one night. High price due to summertime travel season.
- 3/5
A little disappointing, We have stay in many hotels. This is the first time that we had such a small room. No bureau to place clothes. No safe in the room. 6 hangers placed in a 5 inch deep cubby hole. Only 18 inches between the TV wall and bed. If the bathroom door would be 1/2 inch wider it would not bypass the toilette and lets not forget the luggage the room has absolutely no place to store it in the room. A room that has a queen size bed is expected to be able to cater to 2 adults, this is not the case.
- 5/5
Excelente hospedaje, buen trato al público. Los son impecables
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms very small- the door barely opened without hitting the bed. Breakfast was not keep stocked very well and not much seating.
- 5/5
Thanks New York
- 5/5
Very Good
- 4/5
Convenient to Times Square and right next to U.S.S. Intrepid museum. Nice walk through a Hell's Kitchen neighborhood on your way to Times Square. Not a ton of space in the room but the bed was fine and it did the job.
- 5/5
Great location! Very walkable. Friendly staff, breakfast staff struggled keeping up with the pace.

The property was ok. The only terrible thing that happened was that, the AC in our room was dripping water. My boyfriend put his pants on top of the chair near the AC overnight and when we woke up his pants were soaking wet. We called the front desk and asked if there was a way for us to dry his pants, but they said they did not have dryers in property, the hotel sends out their linen to be washed. They offered to place my bf’s pants in the backyard somewhere so that the sun can dry them. I declined and just used the iron in room for about 2 hrs. Very fun!

Rooms are super small, I have never stay in a hotel with such small rooms. It did not bother me because we weren’t in hotel the whole day just for sleeping so it was ok. Daily housekeeping was great. Easy check in and check out.

This was a great hotel! I got multiple emails from the manager welcoming us. The staff was sweet and accommodating with our last minute booking. The sheets were soft and the room was big!

Pricey but no choice because of the proximity of our tour bus pick-up at 6:30Am.

It was pretty good. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast. The refrigerated items were alway low and not restocked.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotwl. First of all the office staff was always nice and helpful. The room, albeit small, was clean, comfortable, and complete with all the things we needed. The breakfast was good, always stocked. I had no complaints at all about this place.

A unica coisa que precisa melhorar é a internet, ela não funciona de modo algum, ainda bem que estava com um pacote de dados bom no celular.

The breakfast is just ok. The assigned crew for breakfast don’t even check when the just food is low. You always have to tell them to refill them. The staff is just standing, and chatting with the front desk. Waffle with no syrup? They say delivery did not come, then buy something at the store!

A cama é muito ruim, mole, o quarto velho, o banheiro não muito confortável, o chuveiro sai pouca água, as toalhas são finas e com cheiro ruim.

Room was great, but our location was terrible. We could not sleep all night. The room was in the lobby 15 feet from the front desk. Noisy all night. We were exhausted in the morning. G

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing from start to finish. The first room we were assigned had sheets that carried a strong odor of body odor, suggesting they had not been properly laundered. After requesting a change, we were moved to a second room where the bathroom reeked of urine and appeared unclean. To make matters worse, the hotel staff were among the most discourteous we have encountered in our travels. We ultimately had to escalate our concerns to corporate in order to address the severity of our experience.

Bed was comfortable, room was very small. Lady at check in and check out was a bit rude but overall it was cheap and you get what you pay for

The staff was always really nice. My view was good, and it was relatively close to everywhere I needed to be.

Tremendous service at check in, and throughout our stay. All was great, AC unit could have been crisper as we both had a hard time cooling off. Otherwise, perfect stay at a perfect location for our needs. Thanks !!!

The front desk don’t know what they’re doing charge me twice made my bank account negative and since it’s pending I have to wait until one of the charges drop off before my money go back to the account and I’m about to hop on a cruise ship with zero money in my account

We checked in and within 5 minutes went to the front desk that the air conditioning did not work. Maintenance called and no one showed. We requested a different room .. and clerk Eric said no other rooms as he proceeded to check in other guests coming in .. He told us no other rooms available and offered a Fan .. We said no acceptable .. He eventually said he had a room in the cellar .. which was at the staff level and not what we paid for . A bad experience overall ...
