    Aside from the location, nothing at the hotel was worth the price. The rooms had a terrible smell and felt cramped and poorly designed.     We had a wonderful experience. Jenny at the front desk saved my birthday weekend by finding a room with a park view that I really wanted. It was heavenly to wake up and see the Park sunrise in the morning and the lights at night. The doormen were exceptionally friendly and always remembered me with greetings. The rooms was nicely decorated. We did not check out the spa.

    The rooms were very comfortable. Perhaps could do with tea or coffee making facilities which were sadly lacking. I asked for a rollaway bed for one of the rooms but it was not there when we arrived at midnight. All we wanted to do was go to bed but we were not able to. A fiasco ensued, we had to wait ages - not good, we were not at all happy.

    Upon arrival Jenny at the front desk created a phenomenal magical experience for my daughter and myself! We were catapulted into a wonderful holiday spirit! Also the concierge made a reservation for us prior to our Lion King show....the restaurant and staff amazing! Delicious! We were early and they did but rush us and Stefano gave me a pen for our traditional hang man games. The VIP experience watching thanksgiving parade was FABULOUS! Hot chocolate and marshmallows, security smiling and the front door man noticed it was too packed up front so he brought us to the side so my daughter had prime views of Bluey! Thank YOU this was much needed we needed our spirits lifted....see you soon

    Location. It was clean and well appointed. The staff was courteous and eager to please. I had requested a park view suite on a high floor, however, was given a suite on the 3rd floor where I could only see the tree tops and flagstaff in front of the hotel. I requested to move but was not accommodated. The room was small and needed a face-lift.

    Location The service and some of the staff were terrible. Bryan at the concierge was very rude and made us wait for 20 mins at the front desk and when we told him about the wait time he was rude and argued with us and said “I didn’t make you wait for 20 mins” This is not the service expected from Ritz Carlton. The Bellboys were extremely helpful but the higher management was very rude. We had to keep requesting for cleaning of the room. It was not done in one go. It was like staying at a 2 star hotel. Very very poor service!

    Great location. The manager Joel moulghon treat me so bad, he was rude to me. He even tried to humiliate me. He has no human relations!!!! Also my original room at the ritz had a lot of problems, the water was black and The curtains were broken!!!

    Growing up all you ever hear is comparison to the Ritz how it’s the best and the fanciest. The crem de la crem allegedly. The staff was amazing, Thomas the concierge was amazing helped up plan our day and treated us amazing. The room however was lackluster the view of Central Park was nice, however the mold in the shower team with poorly cleaned room with thick layers of dust on doors and phones etc teamed with a rock hard bed that was not comfortable my disappointed was immeasurable. This is supposed to be the absolute best and it was no where near Espically for the price would considered many others before going back.

    The staff are super nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, bed lovely and I loved having a tub. The room was very well equipped with wine and champagne glasses and a very well stocked fridge with drinks and snacks. The room had a steamer for your clothes too and bathrobes. The only thing missing is an ice machine on the floor, so you have to order ice and have it delivered. And a big bummer is no coffee machine in the room. Which is disappointing. But you can go down and get coffee in the lobby in the morning. Which is not great of course. Especially if you are working in the room most of the day. As my husband was. Otherwise a perfect stay.

The only thing missing is an ice machine on the floor, so you have to order ice and have it delivered. And a big bummer is no coffee machine in the room. Which is disappointing. But you can go down and get coffee in the lobby in the morning. Which is not great of course. Especially if you are working in the room most of the day. As my husband was. Otherwise a perfect stay.

    This Rits are my favorite hotels you can’t never go wrong . The hotel is impecable beautiful Christmas decorations and perfect location . The only thing I didn’t like and I really like to see it improved it’s the service at the restaurant/bar , they are understaffed and meals takes very long something at breakfast we have to wait over an hour to get your food and you have to be calling the staff for coffee , they are very friendly and try to make you feel welcome but they can’t run a complete restaurant full in capacity with 2 or 3 servers sometimes less , that will be my only dissatisfaction

    You ruined our plans, we had specifically made a reservation for a deluxe room with 2 double beds and the hotel did not honor our reservation, we asked them to change the room to what was agreed on the reservation and they said they can’t and offered we pay another $3000 to get a suit! the 4 of us ( 2 adults and 2 toddlers) ended up in a room with one bed. This is unacceptable. We (4) ended up on the same bed which is not really a big bed either. They gave us a baby crib instead which was too small for a toddler. Terrible experience, I will never use orbitz again to make a hotel booking.

    Hard to fault our stay here. Great location by Central Park and between 5th and 6th Avenue. The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. We got a room with park view which was spacious and had a large bathroom. The only criticism I would have is that the cocktails at the lounge are extremely pricey - $26 for a martini!

    This is not a typical Ritz Carlton stay. Staff is great , however we were not made aware of NO valet , no bars, no restaurants . While others hotels are back to normal the Ritz is blaming Covid restrictions.

    Hotel is nice enough, but some of the pieces in the room were a little off — bathroom light ended up going out, the holders for the blinds cords were coming out of the wall. The biggest issue I had was the smoke detector. For some reason, they placed the one in this room directly over where your heads sit in the bed. The green light casts a pretty bright light straight down (especially when all the lights are out and it was directly in my face and kept me up most of the first night I was there). I mentioned it to the front desk saying it was pretty annoying during the night and I know you can’t disconnect the smoke detector). The response was, no, there’s nothing they could do. This light isn’t a sensor or anything, it just shows the status — green if all ok. I have the same ones at home and they give off the same light — you can see the pattern on my floor at night, but it’s placed in a part of the room where the bed would never be placed. In a room that’s $1,000 a night, I’d expect a little more than ‘no, can’t do anything about it.’ Especially when I’ve said it kept me up most of the night — put a pillow over my head for some while trying to sleep. Second night we were there, I took a small piece of the label off a small bottle I had and stuck it over the light — problem solved — but still... pretty disappointing.

    I was never given a form to sign for $300 per day for the Club Lounge like your stupid manager said on the 27th of December upon receipt of my invoice. I have no record of any form that I would have signed giving you people permission to charge me $300 PER DAY for cheap champaygne and inadequate food for that type of price. I tried to tell your manager that I had not signed any form and she did not produce one for me. She merely stated that I signed a form of which I have no record of. I was told by your manager Kamal Elmaftahi that I would have access to the club for 2 people for $300 added to my room. There was no mention that this charge would be PER DAY. I want all but $300 removed from my invoice and I have every intention of placing a formal complaint to my credit card company. I have all the e-mails from your management team to verify that there was no mention of $300 per day being charged to my room during my week long stay. You need to learn to cater to a single traveler especially older women who will end up with more money than anyone else as we will live longer.     This is an amazing property with wonderful service from all touchpoints - the doormen, concierge, check in and room service. Rooms wonderful. Spotless and bright. Great smart tv with cable, etc. Will return time and time again. Only thing that I didn’t like was the price of the coffee in the restaurant. It’s by far THE most expensive I have had in any hotel anywhere . Seriously, we would have frequented the restaurant more if the pricing wasn’t so stratospheric. Don’t let that put you off the hotel though, it is great.

    We frequent at the ritz in Toronto so My girlfriends and I booked the ritz Central Park for a birthday girls weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff from check-in all the way to check-out was phenomenal. Cassidy set up a little birthday treat in our room for our friend and a picnic blanket for us to use for our Central Park picnic, she was so quick at replying and made our stay special. Keoni secured us a last minute reservation at Catch which truly made our trip! Sanjit checked us in at concierge and we immediately knew we were in good hands. We had such a blast and were taken care of well beyond our needs, no matter what time of day it was. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

    Wish I could give a good review of this place because the hotel it’s self was beautiful, but unfortunately my Louis Vuitton gift card was stolen from my wallet, which was left in my pocketbook in the room. I did not notice it was stolen until we were at the airport and I went to pay for some items at the gift shop and I noticed it was not in my wallet. My husband paid for most, if not all of the things we did during this trip so I was unaware this item was not in my wallet until then. I’m upset at myself for not using the room safe to lock up my wallet as I usually do when at a hotel. The one time I don’t my item comes up missing! This is so sad to know that you can spend over $500/ night to stay at an expensive, prestigious hotel and still be stolen from. I don’t understand how people can take from others!!! This is definitely a learning lesson for me, and to make matters worse all they did was conduct a “investigation “ and then Marriott claims called me telling me that “ it was my fault because I did not lock my items in the safe, and there is nothing they can do”. This was such a disappointing experience to know this type of thing can happen at a hotel like this. The managers at this hotel could care less about this issue, and acted like I was lying about this incident. As I was told that “ this type of thing does not usually happen here”. Well it does and it happened to me! I am contacting Louis Vuitton to see if they can cancel the gift card. Such a bummer to have such
