Great Mid Town location, our suite was opposite the Empire State Tower. Used the Club Access every day which was a HUGE bonus for our experience. The GYM was 10/10 modern and Cool. Had a dodgy Dinner one night with our sides being forgotten, but ate out or in the club at other times. Staff were great especially in the Club and the downstairs team. Would definitely visit again

Its Fifth Avenue setting, spacious upscale rooms, and reputation for refined service made it feel like a true Midtown sanctuary rather than just a hotel stay.

The refrigerator made loud noises all night keeping me and my wife up. We also experience noice from construction outside and other guest in the hall! We switched hotels from Andaz to come here thinking it was better based off the ratings and that was the worse decision made. When I told the front desk I was told they couldn’t do anything as far as a discount because we already paid through Expedia.

As usual our stay at Langham was excellent. Rooms ready when we arrived (early), service from everyone through the stay was personable, attentive and professional, and it provides a great balance for both business and pleasure in the City.

This hotel is ideally situated and the staff are exceptionally well trained. It was a gorgeous room with fantastic service in the Club Lounge and among every staff member I met. I would return in a second! The elevators were very slow- with sometimes crowds of residents waiting for one to arrive- I suspect one of the bank of elevators was out of order which is why I had every time to wait minutes for one to arrive.

Wonderful staff, good size room for New York, and I would stay here again. Great Executive Lounge, and love that Iwas offered the option to upgrade without asking. Wish the hotel had more to offer in it's facilities like a pool when it's warmer, was big enough to walk around the property, gift shop, but I know space is limited in New York. I would stay here again nonetheless. Gave 4 stars for location as I don't know NY enough to know if it was a great location.

Couldn’t say enough about the location and hotel it self….. A well run hotel…and I loved the hot coffee and apple cider provided in reception every afternoon! I stayed for six nights and i would have expected to have a level of recognition amongst staff but I didn’t get a sense that the staff were aware I was a guest!

Room was great as was the location. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed, however, this ridiculous trend toward “rain showers” is AWFUL! As a woman, I can’t grab a quick shower without getting totally drenched. There was a hand shower (of sorts) on the wall, but not a proper one, once turned on it would keep rotating towards the wall! Why can’t 5 star hotels put a proper wall mounted shower head? We are paying enough! The shower!

This is our second visit to the Langham New York. Our suite was beautiful and spacious. We love using the Club amenities for breakfast and a pre-dinner glass of wine. All of the staff make us feel special. We will continue to stay here when in New York.

Staff is fantastic, room was beautiful apart from comments below We were wonderfully upgraded to a beautiful room which unfortunately faces onto 5th Avenue. We heard every horn, siren, street argument, and yelling all night. Very hard to sleep as a result. Windows need to be changed to double paneled sounfproof ones.

Entire staff was kind and helpful. Our room/ bath was large and elegant. We also loved breakfast in lovely dining room. And of course the location is perfection - central to everything and yet not in hustle/bustle.

Our 2 year old son was having a melt down (he wasn't the happiest the last time that she had dropped our food off either) both times she tried to do something to help put him at ease, but the second time; set her apart from everyone else. She not only entered our room with a smile on her face (screaming toddler & 4 year old on the brink of a melt down due to his brother's) she started telling me about being a kindergarten teacher in in her country (Japan, I believe it was) and proceeded to start singing the ABC's in her language (absolutely beautiful!) both of my boys stopped everything, then right before they could start up again she then sang the ABC's in English. It was the most touching experience of my trip & am so thankful for her, just humbled. I hope she gets to see this review, she truly deserves to be recognized for her commitment to the clients of the hotel & to know how much she truly touches people! The impact she really makes.

This hotel is legitimate 5-star. I stay here when we I’m in NYC. Food is good, staff is mostly Korean and the efficient and friendly. The street is not what 5th Avenue used to be. Not their fault, but NYC has lost its way. Homeless problem 10 feet from the front door. Panhandlers and mentally ill people everywhere.

For a hotel at this level their Guest Services and Front Desk is abysmal. I confirmed 3 times on a kitchen order to be delivered to the suite. Reconfirmed when I checked in that it was noted in my account. Order did not come when scheduled. I called to inquire and was told "there's nothing in the system." When I told them I was on a timeline, they were condescending and gave me no ETA on when they would be able to rectify the situation. I was repeatedly told it "wasn't in the system." Which landed like it was all my problem. Incensed I called the front desk and was put on hold for the manager who apologized and even he was confused why I was told "it wasn't in the system," because it was - in the system. Eventually, the order came but unfortunately, was not able to fully enjoy it because of their communication or system issues. For hotels at this level, I expect and demand better. The Langham Fifth Avenue may be beautifully appointed and in a great location but their service level is not commensurate with a "luxury" hotel. If I wanted inconsistent, subpar, dismissive and condescending service I would stay at a Marriott.

We stayed in room #1104. It is large and inviting for NYC (or any city.)I hesitated to opt for the balcony in August, but it proved to be pleasant weather and was well worth the upgrade. I highly recommend this hotel. We will come again.

Perfect location. In the middle of everything. Upscale experience. Wonderful service. We got a free upgrade to a junior suite which was wonderful. Liked the fact that they handed out mineral water for free upon request. We felt very welcome. The elevators took time and there was no indication on what floor they were. The lower floors might have street noise.

The housekeeping staff was excellent. The room was immaculate when we returned from the Hamilton show. A pleasant surprise was the turn down service with slippers next to the bed and another set of the freshest towels. We would like acknowledge the bell person who treated us like family. He escorted us to the room. Gave us a tutorial on how everything worked in the room. He graciously asked if we would like to have we would our suits and dresses hung up from our garmet bag. He gave us bottles of water every time we returned to the hotel and walked through the lobby. He also arranged the complimentary car service for us to take to dinner. All of these attentions to details puts the Langham on the top of our list now. We highly recommend the Langham. Treating people like family goes a long way. It should be every establishments approach to keep loyal customers and the Langham is doing it extremely well. Maintain the high level of service. We will be back.

Fantastic service, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly which is a lovely trait from all Langham hotels. The only downside is that they eat very much at the hotel. It feels quite small, there is a fantastic gym but no pool and only one restaurant.

The Langham was very clean. I had an executive room and it was very spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable too. The staff are pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

My room itself was not bad; however a very impractical bathtub / shower. The door men (plural) stand amongst themselves & not help or greet you as they should especially going through a very hard revolving door!! The restaurant upstairs, iFiori, has an obnoxious staff that give silent disrespect. Overall not a very welcoming place as was my lovely experience in London. Unfortunately will not return.

Rooms were not small and one can actually walk around if the suitcase is left open. Sound proofing is great and bathrooms are big, showeres are awesome. Beds are comfortable.

This has been the best hotel experience. They clean your room daily and make sure you have accommodations. Every fees days they bring in a sweet treat that makes everything feel so much better. It was super quiet we were able to sleep very well. We had a great view too!

We loved our stay overall. Great location. Fantastic service. Comfortable beds. Rooms are well loved and could use some updates.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the Langham! The location was great, right on fifth avenue. The staff was attentive, helpful, friendly and overall made the experience so lovely. We celebrated a birthday while visiting and they sent a special surprise to help us celebrate! We would stay here again!

The Langham Hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. They comped us to an upgrade of a suite with access to the Lounge. It was outstanding!

Great location and nicely appointed room. Liked all the elevated touches like the Nespresso coffee machine and the Dry Bar hair dryer. Service was very good. The lighting in the room and bathroom were terrible. i literally had to hold up my top by the window to see if it was creased. Also, the bathroom didn't seem to be getting much heat as it was very cold. Finally, has anyone from Langham tried to actually get in and out of the tub/shower? Its quite dangerous since its so high and a huge slip and fall risk. And since there's isn't a separate shower there are no other options. Someone from your staff should seriously try it - especially getting out.

Looking at the reviews, I was excited by this hotel. For the life of me I can’t figure out why this has such high ratings. All the people that work at the Langham are great but the hotel falls way short of what you should be given at the price point. The hotel overall was very uninspiring in its design and amenities. Everything from the hallways to the bathrooms are very poorly lit for some reason. The hallways make you feel like you are trapped in an office building and the rooms, while clean, offered what appeared to be minimalist design from the 80s with cheap faux wood slapped across all the walls. The bathrooms were dull and all the appointments were very general. Everything down to the toilets. No staff member was present at our arrival so we were stuck unloading all of our belongings and had to fetch our own cart. Not a big deal but again, at this price point, you can’t have those mistakes. The hotel itself was very dead and not a lot going on. The upstairs bar and restaurant was dark and empty with outrageously priced drinks and I say that knowing exactly what should be expected of a 5 star manhattan hotel. In summary, the hotel is more what you would expect from a Grand Hyatt at an airport. All the utility and friendliness is present but if you are looking for a hotel experience, this is at the bottom of my list of places stay in Manhattan. If you are looking for a hotel with good location and clean rooms, you can find something better and far less expensive.

Excellent location in New York. Walkable to Times Square, the Theatre District, shopping and restaurants. The room was clean. The staff were professional, kind and accommodating; they provided early check-in which I greatly appreciated because my daughter was ill but I did not want to cancel our Christmas trip. I would stay again but book direct instead of with Expedia because no extras were provided and I wanted this to be a memorable experience for my teenagers. Also, we took advice from Google to dress down, nothing flashy and comfortable to walk and explore the city safely which may have we also made a difference with how we were received by the staff. The restaurant food was underwhelming and we ordered in with Uber Eats and Instacart when we were not out and about. Overall, the experience the stay was good, the room was clean, the staff were great and the location is excellent.

My stay at the Langham was enjoyable but not the special experience that I wanted my teenagers to have on their first trip to New York to experience a Broadway show. The front desk personnel were able to provide us with early check-in which I appreciate as my daughter was ill. The bellhops and concierge were attentive and kind. Our first experience with the hotel restaurant breakfast was underwhelming, however the service was excellent. As a result, I ordered food from Instacart and Uber Eats when we having meals at the hotel and not out in the city. I did not receive any extras such as cookies or the attentiveness that I would expect due to booking with Expedia for convenience as opposed to directly through the hotel website. However, I will stay again.

Gorgeous hotel, family room was generously sized and luxurious, great location and service. One of our best stays as a family.

We had a spectacular stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed our room. The bed was comfortable, and the choice of pillows was nice. Overall, we had a great time staying here.

The turndown service was a nice touch as were the bedside carafe water.

The service at The Langham NYC is top-notch!!! Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay. We've now been to Langhams in Chicago, Boston, and NYC. The only minor suggestion is to maybe renew the carpeting and furniture to update the hotel. Thank you for the treats to celebrate my milestone birthday. The location is the best in all of Manhattan. Maybe see you guys next year same time.

This hotel is Absolutely Stunning & li ed up to its name! The only things I felt could have been improved was the bed which was basically a mattress topper and uncomfortable. The restaurant was impeccable & food was 10 out of 10 but the service was a bit slow. Aside from that, the Langham definitely lives up to its 5 star name!

The Langham NY is located in the middle of 5th Ave close to everything in midtown. The room was very good and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Definitely staying again!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful weekend stay at the Langham. Spacious and tasteful, well-appointed family room with kitchen in NYC. Staff was extremely friendly.

The hotel is excellent ! We booked a junior suite that was comfortable. My only issue was the mattress, it was bad, and even though I rarely have a back pain, I waked next morning really compromised with an enormous back pain.

My new favorite. Staff shine brilliantly. Rooms are serene with wonderful details in decor and amenities.

This hotel was amazing! From the staff’s warm welcome, the hotel’s cleanliness to the beautiful bar on the second floor, this hotel did not miss a beat! The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows were perfect, and if we needed anything from the from desk, it was delivered to us in under ten minutes. We will def be returning!

I am a big fan of the Langham. I have stayed there many times and have always been satisfied with my room and the service provided. The staff is friendly and cooperative. The gym is great. The restaurant Al Fiori is a gem.

Amazing property, had an amazing stay

Great communication prior to visit, requested 1 hour early check in and was assured it wouldnt be a problem. Arrived at 5 minutes past regular check in time and was told suite wasnt ready🙄 Didnt put out do not disturb sign out which is my fault...but 3 different people disturbed us between 9am and 11am. Other than that very nice hotel and amazing view. Will stay again
