Guests generally appreciate the excellent staff, convenient location, and cleanliness of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is also a popular feature. However, many guests find the rooms to be small, and some have issues with noise and shower temperature.

Amazing hotel, the location is perfect for exploring New York, subway station is literally outside of the hotel, also great complimentary breakfast, staff was super nice & helpful, room service always provided and room cleaned daily. Huge plus - it was also quiet in the room which is huge in NYC. Overall outstanding stay! Only thing that we disliked was the room size its a bit on a smaller side, and also we were unlucky and got the room with no city view - so it was a always dark in our room.

Location is great and staff were very accommodating Rooms are very small with very little storage space. Not the right place to stay if the plan is to do shopping on New York !
- 4/5
Room was smaller than I expected. Other than that, it was a good nice, quiet space for a couple. I would return.
- 1/5
The bathroom was cleat although minuscule. The floor wasn’t any more than 4X4 and that included the toilet and sink! They switched the room. I requested a studio king and spent 800+ for the room. I received a room with a king bed that i could barely walk around. When i complained, the girl said “well there is a King bed”…. I stayed in the property a very long time ago and it was a dump. It has not changed. Paint and new carpet. LIPSTICK ON A PIG! We couldn’t stay for breakfast and received no compensation. They did offer a 10% discount since i was so displeased. Should have been 50%
- 5/5
Amazing, kind staff that went above and beyond to make our trip special. They even took my note about our celebration for my friend's pregnancy and put a little surprise in our room. The Junior suite had 2 actual queen sized beds (rare in NYC) and was spacious to fit 3. Great location, close to the 1-2-3 subway, and free breakfast at Serafina. Will 100% be back!

This property is great I have been to manhattan many times and this might be one of the nicer places I have stayed at which is crazy because some places were hundreds of dollars more a night. The room is tiny but that’s common for this area. But the beds and pillows were so comfortable and the cleaning was well done. The staff was very nice and they had a great bar inside the hotel called primos. The location is great the hotel is so sound proof and had black out shades. I would definitely recommend

Good location. The rooms were small, but this is pretty normal for NYC. There was building work being carried out during our stay. Breakfast was limited but coffee was good.
- 3.5/5
Perfect and comfortable location, near FiDi, Battery Park, Soho. Metro station is literally close to the hotel door. Reception and cleaning staff are very kind and helpful. Our room was located by street side, and even though we were on the sixth floor we heard all the noises from the outside. In addition, for some inexplicable reason twice during our stay the phone in the room rang at 4 am and one morning instead at the same time the clock radio rang. Breakfast experience could be improved: it starts at 7 am but at that time not all the products (i.e. hot water for tea, baked pastries) are ready and we had to wait for 20 minutes. In addition, the air conditioning in the breakfast area was crazy.

Fantastic location to visit all the main attractions in New York. Very clean & friendly. Breakfast was amazing too. Hard to find a negative as everything was excellent. The only problem we had was spending our first night in a Standard room - this was only a little larger than a UK single bed. Thankfully we were able to pay extra & upgrade to a much bigger room with 2 beds, but it would be helpful to travellers to have a clear description of bed size.
- 1/5
Not a great hotel - our room has ZERO natural light. Felt like we were sleeping in a basement. Absolutely horrible stay.
- 5/5
The breakfast was very good, we were expecting a croissant and a coffee, but got a lot more than that. Plenty of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, meat & cheese, cereal, and a changing selection of a few hot items each day. All the rooms are accessed via stairs or lift, both easy to get to (you just need your room card to swipe). The location is great for the subway, with the station right outside the hotel. Lots of things easy walking distance too. The hotel restaurant is also very nice for dinner with a good selection and a nice rooftop dining area on the 2nd floor. The only downside of the room was how dark it was. The view looks out onto a wall and you can't see much daylight because of this. This really didn't help with jetlag, but fairly common in a lot of NYC hotels.
- 4/5
The location was fabulous. The room was well appointed, and the bed comfy. The room was very small as was the bathroom. For two short people it was fine. We had others in our group that found them a little too tiny. Also liked the Serafina restaurant for our breakfasts and we had a great dinner there upon our late arrival. Size of the rooms and bathrooms.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is super friendly! It's in a great location and the rooms are extremely comfortable. While there are many, many things to like, my favorite part of the room is the bathroom. Such a luxurious space!

Frederick Hotel Tribeca Reviews - NY The card-based breakfast system is outdated. Ongoing renovations and repairs at the hotel; noise at all hours. The supposed "upgrade" to two separate beds was extremely expensive. Housekeeping consists solely of making the beds and replenishing towels; they don't actually clean anything else. The room was extremely small and had a window facing an air shaft. The breakfast is extremely basic, offering absolutely no variety. They do not offer espresso coffee options. They do not offer fresh-squeezed orange juice. The breakfast and front desk staff were quite distant—and, at times, rude. They don't even provide a complimentary bottle of water in the rooms. On the plus side: the nearby subway entrance. And the elevator—which is never occupied. Frederick Hotel Tribeca Reviews - NY The card-based breakfast system is outdated. Solid location. Better prices than comparable properties. Literally the smallest room possible. Full Bed. Couldn’t sit straight on the toilet without hitting the wall. The worst breakfast buffet imaginable, just processed industrial crap. Clearly they want to advertise “free breakfast” and then make sure nobody will eat it.

Great Stay with a Few Hiccups at The Frederick I recently stayed at The Frederick Hotel in Lower Manhattan, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience, though there were a few things future travelers should keep in mind. The Highlights • Prime Location: You honestly couldn't ask for a better spot. It is just a short walk from the One World Trade Center, which made sightseeing incredibly easy. • Unbeatable Transit: Having a Metro station right outside the door was a game-changer for exploring the rest of New York City. • Excellent Service: The staff were professional and clearly cared about our comfort. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did encounter an issue where our room was uncomfortably warm. However, the staff went above and beyond to fix it. They spent a significant amount of time trying to repair the built-in unit and, when it couldn't be fixed immediately, they brought in a portable air conditioning unit to ensure we stayed cool. I really appreciated their dedication to resolving the problem. The "Family Booking" Catch The biggest downside was the breakfast policy. We booked as a family, yet the hotel only included breakfast for two people. This felt quite odd for a family reservation. • To get breakfast for the rest of the family, we had to pay an additional $20 per person per day. • By the end of our trip, this added an unexpected $160 to our total bill. Final Verdict: Despite the heat issue and the breakfast surcharge, the location and the helpfulness of the staff make this a solid choice. I would stay here again, but I'd probably skip the hotel breakfast and head to one of the many local cafes nearby instead!

Great location, clean and nice decor. Small rooms, but expected in NY

The staff were all amazing. The manager could have helped a little more considering I am traveling with my 80 year old mother and her service dog. The first room I was in was horrible with a corner 4x4 window. then we changed to a better room but it had no fridge or at least a coffee maker! For a 4star hotel this should be considered a 2star hotel. The price you are paying for location and the amazing staff and not the hotel.

Very good location to explore Manhattan. Front desk staff very kind. Rooms are very small (our group had 3), even for Manhattan. Water pressure is extremely weak, and hot water random. Breakfast average.

We had a wonderful stay at the Frederick Hotel! The staff was so welcoming! Especially FuQuan! I was injured and he did an awesome job freezing and getting me my ice packs. He was very prompt with delivery. He also gave us recommendations for an amazing pizza place called Little Italy. Alo did a very good job too. He has a very friendly personality and provides excellent service! Thank you!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, staff were super friendly and helpful. Lovely cliental. Excellent location, really nice area. Subway just outside, making it so easy to get around. Restaurant in hotel was so good that we ate in it twice during our stay! Lovely bar in the hotel as well. Room was a little on the small side but that's a given for New York, just hadn't factored that in as over 20years since I was in New York.

Loved the location in Tribecca. Very close to subway. Lots of nice restaurants and bars close by. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It did become repetitive after 3rd morning. Same food served everyday for breakfast.
- 4/5
The location was excellent with the subway right outside the door, the breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The Italian restaurant was really good too. I've stayed in many hotels in New York and I understand that the rooms are small. However I've never stayed in a hotel room with absolutely no storage space..We had to keep all our cases and bags at the end of the bed and were unable to unpack our clothes which would have been fine for a one night stay but not for a four night stay. It made getting around an already tiny room very difficult and uncomfortable. A kettle would also have been a welcome addition to the room.
- 5/5
Hôtel bien localisé dans Tribeca, juste à côté d’un métro. Bons petits déjeuners. C’est la 3e fois qu’on y retourne.

So chic! We love the luxury feel, the friendly staff, the location, & how clean the entire place is. We've stayed so many times it's our NYC home away from home.

Room could have used a bit of sprucing up but bed was good

The team at the desk and the bellbots are very kind, and attentive, we just felt like home from the first minute. Dpecisl thanks to Tamar, who assisted us , and was so great to meet someone who also speaks our language ? Thank you for a lovely stay! We will definitely recommend the hotel to all our friends in Israel. The water stream in the shower is weak, and it is hard to switch from cold to hot water.

Rooms are very small but typical for nyc. Clean and well appointed. Friendly staff. Cute bar. Great area of town. As someone who lived in nyc for many years, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Excellent location, staff ready to assist when required, very good breakfast included, clean and quiet room. I'd recommend staying at the Frederick. room could be a little bit bigger, but nothing that spoil the experience.

Clean room, nice large bathroom. Good location, the 1 train is directly outside, and the ABC is not far, it made getting to JFK via subway very easy.
- 5/5
Frederick hotel really felt like a home in a foreign world, like a place to come to after day full of meetings, work and excitement. Location is great, all I needed reachable fast either walking or on subway just right in front of the hotel, staff very friendly and helpfull at all time, mostly Alo and Joanna during my stay. Prosecco at welcome or wine hours are a great additional sparkle to my stay. I was glat do choose Frederick, and I usually dont come back to places, but I would to this one. All was well, maybe a bit more variations for breakfast, and kettle in the room for making a tea would be fine, but that did not decrease the value of my stay.
- 5/5
Clean room, professional and friendly stuff, convenient location .
- 2/5
The place is in poor working order and the staff are extremely poorly trained. The first room the AC broke and there was nothing the staff could do to fix it. Our second room had a massive flood light set up on the wall outside our window lighting up our whole room at night and making it hard to sleep. First night, they don’t know how to turn it off. Second night, someone DOES know and we learn management put it there to illuminate their sign..? The AC was rattling loudly, the shower had two bottles of shampoo instead of any body wash, the lotion was empty, and the staff were generally pretty apathetic. We also noticed several other guests moving rooms, some as many as three times by their telling. Overall, pretty building in a state od relative disrepair run by a very unprofessional and unimpressive team. Do not recommend.

The room was small but very cozy, very well appointed; I especially loved the beautiful bathroom; location is excellent. These are factors outside of their control: 1. I was assigned a room with view towards an ugly inside courtyard, instead of street views; the first night there was a very bright light in said courtyard that filtered a lot into the room despite the curtains fully closed. 2. There was some remodeling going on, so I kept on running into workers in hallways & elevators, which led to an increased noise level But again, these are NOT deal breakers and not something that the hotel can be blamed for… maintenance needs to happen and not everyone will get street side views
- 4.5/5
The hotel's location is very good — at the heart of Tribeca, near the subway. Very convenient to get around Manhattan and elsewhere. We were very pleased to find that the hotel offers a proper breakfast with eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, etc, rather than just coffee and croissants. The room, amenities, bed, and the view — everything was great. We also liked the vibe — a vibrant bar, historic building, and luxury features the staff provided. The room is small — but that's NYC.
- 2/5
Full size bed default options, which is insane for a hotel and upgrading to a king at the price point they offer means there are 50+ better options nearby.
- 5/5
Excellent location for the subway access and close to 9/11 memorial. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was a plus.
- 5/5
Cozy and comfortable and clean, and great location. Nothing, liked everything.
- 3/5
While the hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast good, the constant construction noise almost unbearable. IF a hotel is under renovation with a constant disruption to guests, it would have been proper to disclose this to potential guests prior to booking, giving guests the opportunity to seek other accommodations. Shame on The Frederick for not professionally doing so.

The one thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that comes as part of the resort/facilities fee of our stay. It was prison food. Doughnuts were a week old and stale. Turkey breast cold cut with more fat in it than turkey meat. We ended up having breakfast for the first day only and went elsewhere for the other days. Such a shame the breakfast pulled down our experience at the hotel

We booked two rooms, and one of them was extremely small. My sister‑in‑law could barely move around the bed due to the lack of space, and the bathroom was also far too small to be considered adequate. This made the stay uncomfortable from the outset. I also raised the possibility of an upgrade, which is a benefit of my membership. However, I was repeatedly pushed back, and only three days later was I finally offered an upgrade—by which point it was no longer useful. This felt dismissive and inconsistent with the loyalty benefits I’m accustomed to. Additionally, when requesting a late checkout—another Platinum perk—I was only granted one extra hour. This created a very awkward and rushed departure, which again didn’t align with the service level expected for elite members. Finally, the breakfast service was disappointing. Several of the servers were noticeably rude, which added to the overall frustration during the stay. I value this brand and have always chosen it for reliability and service, which is why this experience was particularly disheartening. I would appreciate it if you could review these issues and let me know how they will be addressed to ensure future stays meet the expected standard.

Our room was spotless and intimate with a great view. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the location could not be better! Breakfast was included and gave us enough fuel for lots of walking and exploring. We will definitely use it on our next trip to NYC

I reserved a junior suite. The room looked just like the pictures on the website. Three large windows overlooking the park across the street. The only problem was that they failed to mention that there was construction going on and there was a scaffold on the building and noisy workers climbing all over the place right outside my window. I literally made eye contact with two of them while I was sitting on the sofa. I complained to the front desk and the only option they had was a dingy room overlooking an air shaft. I’m used to getting an upgrade or at the very least something comped in this type of situation. They could have done better.

Room spotless, night manager a little spicy when we complained about the AC having issues (would not turn on) in one room and the garbage/alley smell in the second room. Was moved the next day. With the one exception, staff is lovely and hotel is convenient to family.

The room was small (like most rooms in NYC) but very well appointed. High quality linens, towels and shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/body lotion. It also has a great location. The price was very reasonable for what was offered. I plan on staying there the next time we’re in NYC.

They must be short staffed in housekeeping. We were out of the room from 10-3 and no housekeeping for 2 days. Hotel was very quiet. Everything worked. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Bar very loud and noisy - not nice.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. I have stayed at several other hotels and this one stands out for its cleanliness, amenities, hospitality of the staff, location and overall high value for the price. I stayed with family and plan to stay here again next time I’m in the city.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I chose the smallest room, and it was cozy rather than cramped, well-appointed, and really comfortable. The subway station (1,2,and 3 lines) was right across the street. The complimentary breakfast was good, and there was a Starbucks next door (that opened at 5am). Had a great stay.

I had an excellent day at the Frederick. First of all, the hotel staff was very obliging and able to get me into my room two hours early, at 1 PM, when I arrive just after a long plane flight. Also, the hotel is very convenient and several great restaurants, stores, etc. are right around the corner in Tribeca. Including several delis, bagel, shops, and pizzerias. There is a Starbucks 10 yards from the main hotel door. Finally, the Hudson River is three blocks away and a great place to go jogging in the morning. Two thumbs up!

The front desk wasn’t exactly friendly but I’ll chalk it up to a busy weekend. I had a very small room that was very bare bones e.g. no mini bar. That’s all fine. I was at the end of a hallway where all the cleaning supplies were stored, which wasn’t exactly inviting. The housekeeping staff were the friendliest of anyone I encountered. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

The only thing is about the reservation check in, it was very a grey zone about our rooms and their availabilities. At first, they weren’t available due to a leaking problem, no other rooms were available except one suite that was offered to accommodate both couples which we declined, then suddenly, other rooms were made available after waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes. We even have started to look elsewhere to find rooms in another hotel. At the end, all 4 of us had the sense that the hotel was overbooked and we were offered to stay in one room instead. It got all sorted out at the end but we had to insist. When we travel for a whole day, 9 hours drive, being exhausted, the last thing we want is to have problems with our rooms that were finally available after multiple versions of the story..

This hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were all extremely helpful, even as I was exhausted and frazzled after my trip. I had everything I needed. Internet was fine, parking is a little ways off but OK. The only quibble I had is that I couldn't quite close my curtains, they could have used those stick things to help close them, I used my chair to close them enough for privacy. Definitely I would visit again despite this.

Lovely Welcome – We were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne, which was a nice touch! Clean & Comfortable Rooms – Though on the smaller side, the room was spotless and cozy for our one-night stay. Excellent Breakfast – Breakfast was included and served at the restaurant next door (through a hotel arrangement). The food was delicious with a good variety. Great Overall Experience – Despite the short stay, the hospitality and amenities made it a pleasant visit. Cons: Rooms Are Small – Not a dealbreaker for us, but those needing more space might find it tight for longer stays. Final Thoughts: A charming hotel with friendly service, clean rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. The welcome champagne was a lovely surprise! We’d definitely stay here again.

The room was TINY (the entire room consisted of a queen bed with an 18 inch perimeter), had a view of a brick wall, had no mini fridge, and the closet was 12 inches wide and was so short it would only hold shirts - no dresses. However, check in was a breeze, complementary water was appreciated, and the location can’t be beat. If you don’t mind a VERY small space, it’s a winner.

Our room category was interior only, which meant two beds in a tiny room, with a window that faces a brick wall. If you get two beds here, they all face the brick wall unless you upgrade to the suite for an extra $500. The one tiny window with no light was a real downer, and should be explained in the description upon booking. The main bar is only open tues- sat too. The lobby is clean and well appointed, the rooms, not so much. Decent location, free breakfast was convenient.

What was a little unsettling was the noise outside of our door from folx going in and out of their rooms. It's like the walls are sound proof but not the door. I'm not sure much can be done about that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect location, very friendly staff and a comfortable and clean room. I enjoyed it very much with my daughter. Two things they could improve: more variety at breakfast (because it's the same every day), and they retain $100 per night during your stay, which is returned a few days later.

I cannot say enough about this hotel, the staff and the location. It smells like heaven, front desk is always available to help with whatever you need
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful and I couldn't have asked for more. The room was clean and very comfortable and I will forever dream about how soft those pillows were! I'm not sure if I was just lucky or if the room did actually block out the majority of the noise of the city, but, I was thankful regardless. I would've liked to have a fan to drown out the remainder of the noise as well as kept me cooler but I was happy with what I had available. Usually, when you use hotel bath products you get the kind that dries out your hair and makes your skin itchy but not at this hotel, my hair was so soft it was if I was using my personal shower products! I absolutely loved snuggling up in the robe too, I'm a short little munchkin so it came down to my ankles. I couldn't have asked for more, I highly recommend this hotel and if I find myself in the city again, I will make sure to book here!
- 5/5
The hotel in a great location and staff were amazing. Can’t wait until my next trip.
- 5/5
Super cozy - and don't miss the free walking tour(s) - it was the highlight of our weekend.
- 4/5
Good location and Serafina is a great restaurant. Rooms small, so for couples with multiple suitcases it could be a challenge. Service not so great. No welcome when I arrived, just "credit card please." Check out was a disaster with just one person on the desk on a bank holiday with multiple people leaving and trying to check in.
- 5/5
Good location, friendly staff and nice rooms.
- 5/5
Appreciated the historic building that was decorated with a nod to its past. The bathroom was beautiful. The subway was super convenient, just steps from the front door. The location in TriBeCa offers the Hudson River Park, restaurants and shopping. The location makes the 9/11 memorial, Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho easily walkable. The staff was professional, accommodating and personable. The free bottle of wine, happy hour at the bar and breakfast were nice touches. The breakfast is fine (located at restaurant next door) but staff is not overly friendly. When it’s busy, expect limited food items and disposable serving ware.
- 4/5
Room very clean. No full length closet and A/C stopped working on my last night. Easy to get late checkout at 1 pm and subway was very very convenient
- 4/5
Breakfast OK nothing outstanding. Staff very helpful. Clean rooms. Loved the location.

Older hotel, small as most are. The problem we had was the lack of good ventilation and A/C. The room was hot and stuffy, and the A/C blew out hot air. We complained and asked for help as we weren’t able to sleep, it took 4 calls to the front desk and they assumed we didn’t set the settings correctly so they reset it and told us to wait 15 minutes, it continued to blow out hot air and after calling no one came back to fix it. Finally we asked them to come and open the small window which they did. All in all it was uncomfortable and sweaty hot. There was construction outside at 2am and you hear everything thru the thin walls/door.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and safe environment for a family stay in NYC! The rooms are on the tight side if you have a family of 4 in one room, but that was expected for the location and price
- 5/5
Great stay!!
- 5/5
Room was very clean. We loved the neat details and the location. The access to the 1/2/3 subway was super convenient. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be back!!
- 5/5
Room is a bit smaller than anticipated, but for a one night stay it’s great. Free continental breakfast included and restaurant right next to the hotel. Would come here again
- 5/5
the subway entrance is literally in front of the hotel. it was quiet and comfortable if a little small but not claustrophobic. would stay again
- 5/5
Small and personal feel about the hotel which was lovely
- 3/5
This was my third or fourth stay at the Frederick. You cannot beat the location. However, this time, the front desk staff was incredibly disappointing. The only staff member to seem to enjoy their job was the doorman, who went out of his way to say hello and ask if we needed directions. At multiple points in the stay, we stood at the front desk waiting for them to look up and acknowledge we were standing there. Found the reception desk to be unhelpful, unfriendly and just generally useless.

Miracle, front desk, was incredibly helpful and so nice! We brought my dad there for his 80th birthday and they didn’t hesitate to help make his room feel special w our requests and gave great advice for local spots. Was a wonderful stay, I’d recommend to anyone.
- 5/5
We had a lovely time at the Frederick! The staff was really nice and also had cute things in the lobby for Valentine's day (make a bouquet, polaroid photos with backdrop). The room is small, but comfortable enough for 2 people to get ready for exploring NYC! We didn't try the happy hour at the bar, but everytime I peeked in it was poppin! Super convenient to CVS, Duane Reade, diners, pizza, and the 1, 2, and 3 trains.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed at the Frederick 5-6 times over the years and it’s still my fave. Everyone on the team there is so chill and kind and the location is perfect. It’s usually pretty quiet but there is a bar downstairs and a great restaurant to the side of the lobby.
- 5/5
I loved it
- 5/5
Great Tribeca location. With breakfast.
- 5/5
Service over and above. Loads of amenities. We will stay there again!
- 5/5
Hotel is comfortable and clean. Easy walking distance to great restaurants.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, I enjoyed my stay there.
- 5/5
Only negative thing was the noise level. Too loud!! I didn't sleep well at all. UGH. Outside our window (with no view but another building) the entire night I could see bright lights from a club. The blackout curtains didn't do the trick. Way too loud for sleeping ... doors slamming & people being loud in the club and the hallway. This was late at night too. If we go again I will ask for a room in a different area of the hotel. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Thank you.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and location.
- 5/5
Alhamdulillah hotel is very good.
- 5/5
Bar was filled with fun people and breakfast was world class.
- 5/5
We like the hotel. The welcome you back by name. There was a welcome back note in the room. It's very comfortable. Rooms are small, but it's all we need. Convenient to our favorite restaurants. We always find free parking on the weekend.
- 5/5
Breakfast was not very good
- 5/5
It was a very nice hotel!
- 3/5
Room service never came to the room. I had to call and request everyday (5 night stay). The bed mattress was old, lumpy and uncomfortable. Same with the pillows. The worst part was the breakfast service at Serafina. Items were not fresh and the staff was beyond rude and disengaged.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, amazing vintage map of the area in the shower. Breakfast included in the stay.
- 5/5
Second time staying with them. We had a welcome back package in our room- along with a welcome Prosecco glass and water bottles. We love the location and their bar downstairs.
- 5/5

- 3/5
Asked for quiet room & room was on loud street
- 3/5
Disappointed- we were promised 2 double beds but got a double bed
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and spacious for a New York hotel.
- 4/5
Plus, there was nowhere in the room for us to stow clothing or suitcases. So everything just sat open in our floor, which I hate. Went to the bar one evening, and their food options are VERY limited as well. If you want only something small, options are watm nuts (which were seasoned well, but not warm), or warm olives (which I did not try). Ended up going with friends over to the Smyth the next tine.
- 4/5
Great location in Tribeca with fantastic access to the subway right outside the hotel. Very clean room and friendly staff. Only downside was the small size of the room and lack of natural light (we stayed on the 2nd floor).
- 5/5
We loved the character of the hotel and its proximity to the subway. The room was perfect size for a quick over night in the city.
- 5/5
Great included buffet breakfast
- 5/5
I originally booked this hotel for my solo trip to the West Village to see an Off-Broadway show. I chose The Frederick Hotel because of its highly convenient location near the subway. I also wanted a bathtub (which is available in some of the rooms). As Expedia misguided me, call the hotel to confirm if you want a bathtub. My sister decided to join me at the last minute; the hotel found us a smaller room with a delightful bathtub. Both rooms had a great view of One WTC. We both loved the hotel; the entire staff was terrific! We had a wonderfully filling breakfast every morning (compliments of the Frederick) at Serafina Italian Restaurant Tribeca.
- 4/5
I visit NY often, and the Frederick is a beautiful hotel in comparison to other options. It's walkable to a lot of options (restaurants/bars, shopping, sites, and subways/trains). It's very clean and even the small room is nice. The walls are ridiculously thin, though. You can hear every single thing that goes on in every room.

Staff was great but properly was tired and dark. Hallway on my floor (third) was dark, floors appeared dirty and overall unwelcoming. Carpet in room was stained.

Nothing unique very small room

Staff very courteous. Fruit and water at front desk was very welcoming. Plastic bottles are environmentally bad though.

Rooms tiny. Would never stay here again. Felt like I was in a dollhouse.
