Clean room, kind staff, good location if you're looking for something a bit quieter than Midtown Manhattan. Price was a bit high but that's Manhattan in general especially during the World Cup.

So friendly

We stay at the CloudOne at least 3 times per year and we love the hotel, the bar, the staff are professional, the rooms are clean and the area around the hotel is safe.

Clean simple room, the reception is nice and the cafe but don’t expect that style to carry through to the rooms. The rooms are quite run down and simple, and many of them are close to the elevators which make noise. I’d score the property higher if the prices were lower but I don’t find it much better than some of the cheaper hotels in FIDI so don’t be fooled by the nice pictures of the lobby.

It was close to transit and overall really quiet space. The bed was comfy I think the pictures advertising the room are a bit misleading. For the amount of money I spent on my stay, I was expecting a much nicer room with better views. Instead we were given a room that looked directly into someone’s apartment. I was also annoyed at the fact the elevators were insanely slow.

Location so close to WTC, 9/11 memorial, Trinity Church, Occulus. Always pleasant staff. Very fast elevators. Nice, but small, outdoor terrace on 6th floor. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Tightly spaced room. Food froze some in ‘cooler’ fridge. Difficult to control ac - often too cold despite setting higher temperatures. Poor lighting above coffee maker and full-length mirror.

Our A/C didn’t work at first and they sent someone up right away, fixed it, and said if it stopped working again they would move us to a new room. The staff was extremely helpful, especially the man checking bags after checkout. He was awesome. Would definitely stay again!

We have stayed in many a hotel in New York over the years but both said this is the best hotel experience we had ever had! Reception staff were really lovely to especially Ricky he was so helpful and friendly We will definitely be staying there here again .

The hotel is beautiful, the room bigger than I expected, the staff was really friendly and helpful at all times. I loved being able to leave my luggage before checking in and after checking out. The location is great, quiet area and right next to the subway. Everything was great tbh

We originally had an room with an adjoining door and it was super loud, so we had to move from 9th to 10th floor and it was much better. Restaurant was nice too!

The area is great for the finance bros, because the hotel is located close to Wall Street and the One Trade Centre, but it is also handy for the cool kids into Brooklyn stuff, as the hotel is close to the ferry that takes you in a couple of minutes to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. My room was great: spacious enough for all my luggage and for my daily yoga practice. The view was fantastic, especially during sunset and at night. My favourite part was the water pressure, which felt like a heavy waterfall. I felt brand new after every shower. My only remark is the frequency of bedsheet changes. Even though the room was cleaned every time I requested it, the bedsheets were not changed during a 7-night stay. That was a stretch.

The location is the best! Close to major sites as well as all trains/buses. Although many excellent restaurants nearby all over, there is no restaurant nor “real food” available at night. Would be great addition to their wonderful wine bar on 6th floor that has a roof top area!!

It was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was working properly but was a bit noisy so we had to switch it off during the night. The view towards WTC was amazing especially during the evening. The location is excellent very close to connection points ( subway, ferry, train station) and to other must-to-see places. The ventilation and air conditioner were a bit noisy. The shampoo and body gel in the bathroom was not of good quality. There were no pegs for clothes or shoe cabinet in the big corridor which was very strange. The wardrobe was at the end of the room next to the bathroom. We expected more spacious family room for 4 star hotel to be honest but overall the comfort and location won.

The room is quite nice and neat . Staffs are polite and friendly. They served customers well. But there is no kettle in the hotel’s room. That’s not good for a tea person.

I love this hotel. I stayed here last time I was in NYC and this recent time and both were great. The staff is friendly and professional, always available. They took care of me when I was sick the first time and were supportive this second time with providing guidance for laundry. The hotel is quiet and beautiful, adorable deli and rooftop terrace. I didn't check out the fitness center but I appreciate that they have one. The location is in FIDI, very close to transit options, LGA, Brooklyn. I think it's a great price for what you get - not particularly affordable, but not cheap by any means in service or quality.

Felt comfortable dealing with the front counter staff, very helpful and the 6th floor dining area was relaxing. Not sure why but my roon 407 did not have a working vent in the bathroom

I have stayed here the last three years as it is close to the start and end points of the annual 5 Boro Bike Ride. The 6th floor lounge bar offers a friendly service, a good selection of beverages and exceptional views of the Liberty tower and the Hudson River. Good garage parking is only 5 minutes away and good restaurants and pubs in the Wall St. area are only an easy 10 minute walk away. All good.

Hotel has a nice aesthetic. The location just wasn’t the best for us. Had to pay pretty pricey Ubers to get to areas with more retail and sightseeing options. There was no phone in the room so we couldn’t communicate with the front desk, the fridge had a slight odor, and the thermostat wasn’t working initially. Small things but they may be big for others

Have stayed here numerous times, I take red eye flights to the city and luckily my room has always been available to me. The elevators have some issues but otherwise I enjoy my stays there. See above comment

We could hear people from next door using their bathrooms and showers. The air conditioning was so loud.

The rooms are very simple-- not a ton of tech. Fine for some, maybe not for others.

The front desk was exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. They even made every attempt to accommodate an early check-in after a long red eye. When I walked in the front dorr, I felt like I had landed home. I can't recommend the hotel more. I will be returning.

The bar is a highlight—it features a patio with a great variety of drinks and cocktails, including some delicious signature options. The view from there is stunning, overlooking the World Trade Center and the Lower Manhattan skyline. The location is excellent—within walking distance of the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Museum, and Wall Street. It’s also conveniently close to subway lines, making it easy to get to Midtown and other parts of the city. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are very clean, comfortable, and offer a great view. Overall, a great choice for staying in Lower Manhattan

Fine and accommodating-perfect location for walking Wall Street: Whole Foods, NYSE, Cipriani, souvenir shopping, pizza and Fraunces' Tavern; parked in garage on Thames St( does not allow in-out for the "ticket price" but we could walk to all our destinations in this area. Took Lyft to upper East side and West.

Wonderful experience! We got to the city a bit early and had planned to check our luggage and explore a bit before our check in time at 3:00. We pulled into the very quiet alley at the entrance and I hopped out and was greeted by the nice man at the desk. I told him I was early and asked if we could check our luggage since the room wouldn't be ready. He gladly responded we could, and then checked to see if our room was ready and it was! We felt fine leaving our vehicle sit in the alley while we ran our stuff to our room and promptly returned to our vehicle. Totally my fault for not asking, but found out too late they had parking right there! And cheaper than I had pre-booked a few blocks away. So just an FYI if you book here (and you should if you're going to lower Manhattan) It is steps from the 9/11 Museum. It was very clean, decor was lovely, and entire staff was friendly. There was a lounge on 6th floor we wish we'd stopped into but will definitely do so next time. I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very comfortable and the view was incredible. Quiet area, staff was very nice. My only reason for rating this hotel 4 stars is the deli. The cafe/deli was not good. Everything took very long to come to the table, and the breakfast wasn’t good. The staff there were kind but the service was extremely slow. Next time I would take the walk to a local spot.

So close to the freedom Tower, the Oculus and Battery Park City. Clean room, easy friendly check-in. Parking is tough but they have an agreement with a garage for a discounted rate. Did not get the breakfast.

I booked a room with two queens but the beds were clearly full sized beds. When I inquired about this, the clerk insisted they were queen sized beds. I can assure you they were not. I ended up sleeping with my daughter instead of my husband after one night of almost falling off the bed all night. Their bookings are misleading.

Absolutely loved my stay. This was my first time staying in this area of the city and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean. Huge bathrooms with great lighting for getting ready. The bar/lounge was gorgeous with amazing views at night. I felt safe in the area even at 2 am coming back from the bar as a woman. Will definitely be coming back.

I have stayed at the hotel many times and also love it!! Elena, Jorge and the other staff are always incredible, kind and quick to attend to guests!! BUT we had reserved a room with 2 QUEEN beds and it was 2 DOUBLE BEDS, as three of us were traveling. It was explained to me that the hotel ONLY has double beds NOT QUEEN as it is listed. Which we need the space for my family. The description needs to be changed on the bed size to be clear.I was charged MORE for the double beds as they were advertised as Queens. Which was A MAJOR glitch in our trip to the city. Be prepared if you are expecting larger beds.. but other than that the hotel is wonderfully located, safe, clean…

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly, but during our stay the fire alarm malfunctioned at 6 am for 30 minutes, and again the next night at 1 am.

I continue to return to this property due to the great location, rooftop bar, and overall size and space of the rooms. All of this is hard to find in Manhattan!

The Cloud One Hotel is in a fantastic location – directly across from Ground Zero and just steps from major downtown landmarks and subway stations. It’s brand new, clean, and stylish, with a modern design that feels fresh and welcoming. The rooms are quite small, as is typical in NYC, but very well-designed and comfortable for short stays.

Had a great stay here. Got the 2 queen corner room with the river and memorial pool view and it was stunning. Front desk were very nice and helpful. Would 100% stay again!

The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is great if you’re looking to stay in the Financial District in Manhattan. The front desk staff was friendly and extremely helpful in getting us everything we needed. The room was just what we needed: clean, well kept, and updated/modern.

They made sure to provide us all details upfront for our stay and also for the discounted parking. Easy access to everything

We booked this hotel for two nights and on the first night the room assigned to us (1204) had “skid” marks on the toilet bowl and the sink was clogged building up water as you use the faucet that was also leaking. We got to the hotel late at night and we were exhausted to come downstairs and complain about it. We decided to go to sleep and deal with that first thing in the morning. Barely we could sleep because the air conditioner was so loud and making this “dripping” noise the whole night. Next day we spoke to one the receptionist and she assigned a second room to us (1207). As soon we opened the door we could smell this wet dog/mold smell. Because we had this just one more day in New York, on our way out we talked to same person about the smell and she mentioned that the room had that smell because it was closed (???). Thought hotels in downtown Manhattan had a high rotation of clients. When we came back to the hotel in the evening and we opened the door the smell was really bad. We decided to spray a spray a cologne until we figured it out what to do until I walked beside the bed on the right side and noticed that the whole carpet on that side was soaking wet. Now it made sense the “wet dog/mold smell”. We again complained about it and asked them to change our room again and their first response was to send a clear with two little cleaning cloths to “dry” the carpet. After a a third change that they decided to assign a 4th room (upgraded) which was decent to sleep in.

First time staying at The Cloud. World Trade Center literally one block from hotel. Hotel set in heart of financial district. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying at this property and we would choose it again! The only thing that bothers me a tiny bit is that the elevators are slow, but that doesn’t affect the stay at all.. I just have to work on my patience haha

I wish the foyer area would have been more clean, it very short but you could see all the hair that wasn't cleaned up. Everything else was spectacular! My view in room 1912 was top notch, I had a clear view of the WTC tower and 9/11 memorable, it was special to have that. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great view from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. However, no AC the hallway created a stuffy unpleasant wait for the elevator. No room service was disappointing. But the biggest issue was parking. The garage is a few blocks away making it a challenge.

Even though I lived in New York, my entire life I believe this is the first time I stayed in a hotel in Manhattan. It was a nice and modern hotel and I was very pleased.

First we arrived.. gave us room key went up in very slow elevators . Our room was dirty had to go back dwn get another room.. was small dead bugs on sheets.. kept to myself my daughter would have flipped.. front desk was friendly though

I loved the decor, beautifully done and loved the indoor greenery as well in the lobby and cafe.

Subtle hint of mold smell in the bathroom but everything was nice and clean and the AC worked really well. I love the public lounge and balcony on the 6th floor especially for remote digital nomad work.

I went downstairs and explained the AC was not working properly. They confirmed that the AC has a motion sensor on it and it only works when there is motion in the room. I was explaining to them that I was concerned about our sleep and that we would not be moving in the room to allow the AC to continue to work and they replied that it would not be a problem as this is they have “never had a complaint about their AC“. Unfortunately, the AC only works when there is several minutes of activity in the room as it has a motion sensor on it. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with the interior of the room at 82°. It is a terrible system that they choose to have trying to save a few pennies when we’re paying several hundred dollars a night. Clearly, they only care about their bottom line and not the quality of the stay.

I enjoyed the distance from the hustle and bustle of areas like Time Square, but with easy access to those areas if chosen. The staff were very professional and friendly, the facilities were great. I did feel the A/C system was a bit noisy.

Fabulous hotel located adjacent to the World Trade Centre. Spacious, clean and modern. Great cocktails and lovely outdoor bar but only open til 9pm. Easy reach of Fulton subway and loads of great restaurants, shops and sight seeing in the financial district and TriBeCa. O’Haras bar next door is def worth a visit.

The staff is always incredible! Helena, at the front desk continually provides exceptional customer care. They are all quick to respond to needs, make adjustments, as well as have us in a room early. Stayed overnight to go out for my husband’s birthday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It was accessible by many subways which was nice too even though we ended up taking cabs mostly. They also offer recommendations for things to do which helped.

Living here, the alarm will ring suddenly and it will be very loud and irritating. The attitude of the service staff and maintenance personnel is also very bad.

The first room had a fogged-up window due to broken seals, making the view barely visible. We were moved to a second room where the AC was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. To make things worse, housekeeping removed the comforter when changing the sheets and never replaced it—we had to sleep with just two thin sheets. When I raised these issues with the hotel manager and asked for some form of compensation, they completely dismissed it and showed no willingness to make things right. While the location and views are great, the service and management were far below acceptable standards. I expected much more, especially for a room labeled superior. I do not recommend this property, and I’m disappointed Expedia would list it without more accurate information.
