    Location. Wifi quality limited to above ground levels but not to basement level. Floors were dirty. Limited towels and washcloths. Could add continental breakfast. Need more than one pillow.

    • There wasn’t a remote in the room and took forever to receive one. •The room wasn’t the cleanest, plastic cups left behind, dusty tables, red stains on the wall, etc. •The toilet didn’t flush • The room door lock was broken and falling off the wall, as a solo traveler I didn’t feel safe.

    The worst experience ever! Dirty not kept to standard requirements, as a matter of fact while we were checking in there was a fire inspector there telling them they were not in code compliance. Our room had no towels and when I requested them we received old rags. The window in our room was broken, we were unable to close it completely shut, leaving about 8 inches open. This caused all the noise from the club across the street to be heard loud and clear into our room. Needless to say we got no sleep. We checked out a day early couldn't take it another day! The front desk was not cooperating at all! The kept saying I had to reach out to the vendor we booked with!

    If you need a place close to an event or family in Crown Heights, it’s convenient. However, booked an executive suite and the only difference to that and a smaller room was the size. Shower head worked but the wand did not. Had to ask for towels. Had to ask for pillows that didn’t smell, walls and lamps were in need of repair, and tv channels were limited- no local channels no ability to stream. Lobby was not inviting. Staff is not very helpful and rooms don’t get tidied or cleaned unless you specifically ask for it.

    Stay far away from this hotel! The staff aren’t helpful at all. During my stay I reserved 2 rooms for 4 nights and they were both disgusting. I went down to the front desk to notify them of my concerns with the rooms. The mattress were all stained with brown residue, they just simply put a flat sheet on the mattress to conceal it. The couches in both rooms look as if they found them in the dump and placed a dirty couch cover on it to hide the filth. The bathroom showers full of mold. The air vents full of dust and mold. The towels and rags all had yellow stains on them. The pillows smelled terrible. When I asked for a resolution the staff gave me the run around. There were also 4 other customers in the lobby complaining about their room being disgusting as well. Finally after nearly 3 hours of back and forth and me demanding to speak with a manager I was told management could only be reached via email and was given said email address. I emailed the property manager and have yet to receive a response. After night two I checked out and flew back home. Upon me returning back home I realized that the hotel never sent confirmation of me checking out. I called the hotel and asked if they can send me confirmation of me checking out and the guy on the phone said they do not provide that information. Overall my advice would be to find yourself somewhere else to stay.

    The experience was horrible , NO STAFF (2) housemaids , no clean towels! The bed was stained badly , pee stains maybe and dog hair , I called the receptionist to and told him of the issue he told me someone would come change the bedding , I demanded another room period! The 2nd room tv non functional, almost slipped & fell opening the shower door because it’s very loose. After staff had an attitude because of their mistakes. I’m sorry this hotel is horrible I’m from New Orleans.

    The worst part was the bathroom. The shower was dirty enough that the hotel provided shower shoes for guests to wear, which should have been a major warning sign. No guest should feel like they need protective footwear just to take a shower. Between the unexpected fees, lack of basic amenities, and cleanliness concerns, the hotel was not worth the price. I would not stay here again.

    Nothing. We had to abandon our stay. The room had been broken into before we even checked in. The deadbolt lock was broken off the door. We had to book at alternative hotel a few miles away for the same nights and BOOKING.COM will not refund our money. We had to abandon our booking because the property was completely unsafe. The door to our assigned room had been violently kicked or forced open, and the deadbolt was entirely broken off. Because the property’s physical security was compromised, we felt in imminent danger and could not stay. The hotel failed to provide a secure accommodation, breaching the basic terms of service. We had to immediately book a replacement hotel, the Comfort Inn in Park Slope Brooklyn, also through Booking.com to stay safe. Believe it or not Booking.com won't refund our money. How does that even make sense?

    Spacious room. The room was very dusty and the carpet had trash on it. When I requested a cleaning the employee mentioned they don't have a functional vacuum cleaner. The sheets and pillow cases looked dirty and unwashed. Linen was very bad quality.

    The room was large This was the worse experience I’ve had with a hotel in quite sometime…I have been here several times in the past few years and they have fallen off completely compared to my previous visits…I’m not sure if they’re under new manager or not, but the cleanliness and upkeep of housekeeping and their rooms are horrible… I had to switch rooms due to the filthiness of this room…The plumbing was an issue in the toilet as well as the shower and sink…All three were clogged…They had one hand towel that I had to use to shower and there was a large piece of braiding hair from a previous guest attached to it that I didn’t notice until I began showering…This braid touched my private area and completely traumatized me…. I was then moved to another room which was equally as filthy…My toddler discovered a used condom in the dresser drawer, yet another traumatizing incident…The mattresses in both rooms had disgusting, dried blood stains on them…Horrible Experience, I will never return again…

    Towels were not provided for in the room. Had to call front desk for them and when they came they turned out to be dirty. Also one of the sliding glass doors wasn't there for the bathroom area. The room also smelled weird.

    TVs didn’t work in the first room, got transferred to another and that one also didn’t work. Rooms were very dirty, needs to be vacuumed more and the showers were both gross. Sheets and everything were not really clean. Convenient for price if you’re out alone but not recommended for family or romantic. As an athlete that travels please don’t advertise that there’s a gym. This was one the worst ones I ever seen in my life . Shouldn’t be advertised with gym, missing weights that only went up to 40lbs. A literal office chair in there instead of a weight bench. Every single cardio machine was broken, the ground was so filthy you’d absolutely get staph or ring worm if you touched it. Extremely dissatisfied and would of absolutely went somewhere else if I had seen the actual pictures of the gym , not the false ones from the ad.

    **Accommodation NOT as advertised in their photos** We chose this accommodation based off the info and photos on the profile, when we arrived it was nothing like it was advertised. At all. The cleanliness of the whole building was abysmal (not the cleaning teams fault, there is only so much you can do with surface level products when the grime is ingrained and there are damages everywhere). We were over for a wedding and after taking a proper look at the room saw the filth and dirt everywhere. The towels were dirty, there were stains on the walls, unsettling stains on the outlets and damage to the curtains, lampshades and furniture. I have attached photos to this review. We spoke to reception first thing where the woman on the desk was entirely unhelpful. She said after I had shown the difference of photos advertised and photos of the state of our room that ‘it’s the same we just moved some furniture’. She then wouldn’t communicate what the refund policy was. We had contacted Booking the night before who said they had contacted the accommodation but hadn’t heard anything back. The accommodation were entirely unhelpful and pushing to keep us there and put the issue off rather than acknowledge any fault. In the end it was Booking that resolved the issue by giving us a full refund (minus booking deposit) where we were able to book other accommodation for our trip.

The room was not cleaned well.There was hair in the shower, dirt on the tables and a dead spider by the toilet and some additional details that I rather pass on sharing but trust me when I say you should not be staying here if you are looking for a clean hotel. We waited almost an hour after check in for our room to be ready only for it not to be clean. The beds come with two tiny squared pillows that feel like bricks. The lobby needs some help and lack of staff was very apparent.

    The sheets were stained and so dirty. The room was not vacuumed there was dirt and crumbs everywhere. My chin broke out from sleeping on dirty pillow cases (from the one pillow we had). The rooms are also falling apart and deteriorating. I wish I stayed somewhere else but didn't have time. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IT WAS WORST THAN A FEW MOTEL 6 STAYS I'VE HAD!

Area is safe and there’s lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Room came with NO TOWELS AT ALL and no sheets/pillows/blankets for the sofa bed. We had 5 people. Called and asked for towels, we were given 2 and told to go down to the laundry closet for more. Laundry closet didn’t exist. Front desk said only housekeeping can bring towels, okay. Following day we still have 2 towels for 5 people. Afternoon time. Still no towels. Called the front desk, they said there were “no towels ready” because they’re all “in the wash.” Mind you this hotel is currently EMPTY. They said they’d send towels later. Called an hour later…. still in the wash. Called an hour later… it’s now 8pm on the second night of our stay and no one in our room can shower!!! The desk finally told us the housekeeper had not come in yet and won’t until 9-10 AT NIGHT to finish the laundry and bring three more towels upstairs. The man at the desk ignored our calls after that and wouldn’t speak to my husband when he went down to the desk. He shooed him out and shut the door in his face. 10pm we FINALLY got 5 towels. I cannot BELIEVE the rudeness we experienced from all of the desk staff at this hotel. The room was not cleaned well, there was a used hairbrush under the sofa bed and lint and dirt in the shower. The removable shower head did not work, most lights in the room didn’t work or flickered, and most of the power plugs were loose. Breakfast was apparently supposed to be offered but there was nothing remotely close. My husband, before getting shut down by the desk man, watched another guest get double charged for $400 only for the front desk to laugh and shrug. In all my years of traveling I’ve never experienced a worse run hotel. Their reviews on Google and Yelp are AI bot reviews. Don’t fall for it.

    Nothing. This was not a 3 stars hotel. 1 star would describe it better. When we arrived we were asked to share our credit card PIN number as we could not type it through the security glass at reception. Obviously we didn’t. The pictures on booking.com are misleading: they seem to be showing a bar. There’s no bar in this place. The carpets are dirty and not hoovered. The room wasn’t properly clean. There were no towels provided and after asking multiple times some towels were provided but they were old and should have been replaced years ago. The bed was disgusting: no mattress protector and only a very thin and old sheet between your skin and an ancient mattress. The blind was broken and the curtains inexplicably did not reach to cover the full length of the window. We stayed 3 nights and the room was not cleaned once. The lift is creaky and old. I could go on and on. Trust me, do not stay there.

    Bring CASH for early check in, the room was ready but they charge $25 per hour to get in before 2pm. The room was even larger in person but a little run down. Had to change room because first one had a broken toilet seat. Nice large shower but only the main shower head was working.

    I honestly never come on here to complain, but this by far was one of the worst stays. As soon as we got there, they wanted to charge me early check-in, which I understand that some hotels require a fee however, she wanted it in cash, which was very suspicious to me. Also, the restroom lobby was down. We were not provided any towels the rooms were disgusting and the list goes on. If you’re reading this review, I would really take everyone’s review to consideration, which is something I regret.

    I have stayed here a few times but the last two times, the rooms were horrible. My most recent stay, I had to request a room switch because I was initially given a room with no windows. I also dropped my necklace behind the dresser. When I went to look for it, I saw that it was very dirty underneath the dresser. There were items left underneath by previous occupants. They need to do better.

    Somebody was listening to their tv at full volume all night the second night…nobody came to correct them. I also couldn’t figure out how to use the second shower head, it looked like it’s just for display. I also haven’t received my $100 deposit back.

    This place was terrible. Checked into a dirty room. Floors were dirt the bed was dirty with lint from the carpet. Had no towels in bathroom, no toiletries. Night stands were dusty. When we did got towels they smiled molded. The pillows on the bed and the sheets were yellow/brownish. Worse of all their was no street parking. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone.

    The room was really beautiful. It seemed like the upkeep in the hotel was lacking? Our bathroom door was off the hinges and leaning on the wall. We had no towels and all the cabinets were empty. The fireplace heater was nice and we liked the pretty shower and the spacious room, but it all seemed a bit neglected.

    Our suite needed renovation - after looking at another room in the hotel the sliding door to segregate the washing and toilet facilities and the food facilities was missing and the rnnners for this door was left on the floor and on the door were exposed. The hand shower did not work. The microwave was badly stained. The electrical access for wifi was poor. There were broken tiles in the toilet. Cleaning good have been better . Unfortunately our room was directly opposite a night club and sometimes the loud noises continued until the early hours in the morning. Were we given a particular low price because of booking through your company and given low maintained accommodation?

    The reality was unacceptable. The room was filthy. The sheets were visibly dirty, the couch was stained, torn, and looked like it had been pulled off a sidewalk, and the overall cleanliness of the room made it feel completely neglected. My 12 year old granddaughter refused to step into the shower, which says everything. There were little to no amenities, and the lobby felt disorganized and poorly maintained. It was clear that basic housekeeping standards are not being upheld. I paid $400 for this room and did not receive a clean or properly maintained space. The only positive was finding free street parking on a Saturday evening. That said, I would have gladly paid for an expensive garage if it meant staying somewhere clean.

    The couch in the front room was really dirty to the point where we didn't really want to sit on them for too long. There were remnants of party streamers that had been hung from the ceiling from a previous stay. Overall, they need to do a better job cleaning this place up and some of the furniture could be replaced.

    The towels were threadbare and smelled bad. Pillows on the bed were tiny and yellowed underneath the pillowcase. Piles of trash are Left out on the sidewalks on Saturdays. We were woken at three or 4 AM when someone was blasting music outside of our window for about half an hour

    This experience was awful. I checked in at midnight and was given a room that did not lock. The deadbolt was misaligned with the door frame. I asked for a different room, was told not a single room available. Staff called housekeeping to come check the lock and he arrived, took one look at the key card entry and walked away - leaving me standing around for 15 min until front desk staff found him outside smoking. He came back in only to tell me it was unfixable. At 12:30 am, staff told me there was someone checking out “now” and if I waited for a quick cleaning I could have that room. I was tired and honestly didn’t believe the story (after being told there was no other room available) and asked for my money back and that I wanted to leave. Once I left, I contacted Expedia to help me get my money back for two nights I didn’t end up staying there. Hotel refused my money back so I’m out the cost. This place was a terrible experience.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. We arrived to the front desk which has bullet proof glass. We got in the elevator and it started shaking and making noise with a sign saying "inspection failed" Our room had blood stained curtains, bodily fluid stains on both beds and sheets, mold in the shower, the couch had white stains everywhere. Our room phone did not work so I called via cell phone because we had NO toilet paper, and when he said he would bring it up he never asked our room number and told us we were the only guests that night. Our door also did not have a deadbolt or lock. We immediately went downstairs to complain where we were offered another room but declined due to safety issues. As 3 young females we were unsafe and unable to stay in hazardous conditions and had to book an entirely different hotel. I spent $400 and never got a refund even with pictures of proof. Horrible service, horrible rooms. DO NOT STAY HERE

    Walked in and was immediately told to wait as person at front desk used the restroom. When he returned he barely spoke to me and took another guest halfway through checking me in. Dropped my ID and struggled to find it under his desk. The room I received was steps from the lobby and on the ground floor. The one room next to me had someone blasting music and I could hear everything going on outside on Atlantic Ave. Room appeared normal at first glance but sheets were dirty, bathroom was dirty strands of hair and stains on everything— I left earlier than I originally intended because I did not want to sleep there another night.

    Nothing. The area outside was not safe, drug users and prostitutes coming and going. Trash everywhere. The carpets were filthy in the lobby. Bad area, bad vibes, dirty hotel. No breakfast. Not sure if it was offered but we would never have eaten here as it was filthy! The location. The room was not clean. The mattresses and sofa bed were filthy. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. The sheets when they came may have been washed but they were yellowed and stained. There was an old pair of socks in the sofa bed. The floor and light switches dirty and sticky. It was disgusting.

    The bathroom door was broken, the window in the bedroom was stuck where you could not close it to keep the cold air out. The television only had one remote to share for two television. The bathroom sink was leaking. The coffee maker was very old and did not work. The pull-out couch felt really uncomfortable it was sagging when you sit down on it, and dirty. The comforter on the beds were dirty with stains and the pillows were very old with stains on them. There were neighbors on our floor smoking Marijuana.

    It definitely does not look like the pictures. The staff was not friendly and the hotel looked like it had a bad repair man that didn't complete any projects. We were told to park in their "lot" which was a back alley where we were supposed to park on the sidewalks with a homeless encampment. I would not recommend.

    Was checked into ground floor room near entrance. Room smelled of marijuana. Tub had hairs in it. Door did not lock properly. There was a very loud group in the lobby lounge till 2am. Stayed here in 2023 and loved it. Has declined significantly since. The one staff member was not helpful or courteous.

    check-in is at 3 PM and I arrived at 5:30 PM. I called ahead and told them I would be late and they said it was fine. I arrived and was told my room was not ready because they were shortstaffed housekeeping wise. We had to wait almost an hour for the room to be ready.     Terrible room. The bathroom door was super hard to open. The shower door didn't close all the way. The hand held shower didn't work because the button was missing. There was no smoke alarm in the room which is very dangerous incase of an emergency. The fridge smelled terribly, couldn't keep anything inside. Mostly all of the outlets didn’t work. I called front desk multiple times to complain and no one answered. I couldn't change the room because nothing else was available and I booked this room for my boyfriends birthday and was highly disappointed. I’d like some type of refund because the stay wasnt pleasant and i will never book there again!!!

    Nothing I had a reservation to stay at this hotel, but I asked booking.com to cancel my reservation before I checked in. The staff was not helpful at all, I asked if I could have 2 beds instead of 1 bed and they said I needed to contact booking.com to make any changes. My room was not ready by the 3pm check-in time, even though we arrived 2 hours early and the front desk clerk knew we were waiting. Also, just before checking in, I heard a guest reporting to the front desk clerk that a valuable personal item of theirs was stolen from their room. The front desk clerk didn’t really do anything to resolve the issue, and honestly she didn’t even seem to care. All this led me to cancel my reservation and I am so glad I did!

There was also a shooting right outside the hotel in the middle of the night, directly in front of our window, so we didn’t get much sleep. Obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it is what it is for the area. Room 2: Smaller room. The bathroom door was water-damaged and jammed, and the wall of the water closet was open—doing a #2 with other people in the room was… not ideal. The worst part was that the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion clearly hadn’t been replaced from the previous guest. The lotion bottle was about a quarter empty and had what looked like sand in it, which honestly grossed me out. That said, for the price, it’s still not a bad hotel if you’re just looking for a decent place to crash.

    The hallways smell heavily of weed and cigarettes but the room was large, relatively clean and didn’t smell. Some of the fixtures were cracked or broken in the bathroom but the water was hot in the shower and it had good water pressure. The Nostrand subway stop is close by to get to Manhattan. Staff were friendly and nice. Over the hotel was fine. Just needs a refresh. Neigborhood is a little rough and dirty but safe.

    The photos are outdated. They made me do $50 cash to check in, which now they won’t provide a receipt for. My room was disgusting and someone next door tried to keep opening the connecting door. I was in my room for less than an hour and left because it was so disgusting, unsafe and the workers were sketchy. I am still battling to get a refund with this non responsive property for this disgusting and unsafe hotel that I DID NOT STAY THE NIGHT AT due to safety. As a solo traveler, this is not safe for anyone. There are no amenities, the bar looks like it has been closed for decades.

    I would NEVER stay here. They are corrupt and non-responsive, liars saying they will get back to you during the Government Shutdown, taking advantage! Criminally and borderline illegal during the crisis in not issuing a ~$600 refund, as I did not stay at the hotel only 1 night out of 5 after pre-paying!! The office stated they would return the call in an hour, but never did nor confirmed with Expedia to issue a refund. When and they avoid/ignore calls!

    Right of the jump the vibe was off the toon arrival we were asked to wait till the man at the desk finished lunch when he was ready further information was given that I would have to park my car ten blocks away in a random garage.. it got better has our room was just cleaned we had to leave the door open for hours to clear the smell of bleach but it was clean we also realized one of the bathroom doors were missing and the smokes alarms were missing as well I would have complained but any time I made my way down to the desk it was empty this is more of a motel for the boys going to a nets game not family place no kind of hotel amenities and the neighborhood was interesting lol

    The hotel is neither well maintained nor well cleaned. There were multiple broken and/or nonfunctioning amenities, from the vending machine in the lobby to the fitness center equipment to the unstaffed lobby bar. The owners/operators of this hotel are providing less than the bare minimum of hospitality and upkeep. I will never stay at this hotel again.

    the hotel lost its luxury part its definitely a boys go see the nets kind of place more like a motel surrounding area is dirty and after arrival i was told the parking was in a lot ten blocks away when i finally arrived back at the hotel the room was clean so clean we had to leave the door open for hours due to the smell of bleach as we settled in we realized the half the bathroom door was missing that was crazy and all the smoke heads were removed weird right .the elevator sounded like it was one shake away from dropping to the ground didn't see one worker the rest of the trip, the ubers were only ten minutes away from most activities which was a plus we stuck it out but i wouldn't recommend for a family

    The hotel is on a highly trafficked street close to an intersection with two gas stations. The hotel could be better with a little effort. The location is close to many good restaurants and bars. The A train is nearby. Great for JFK and getting into Manhattan. The 4 and the 5 not far away. The bath mat had stains that meant it should have been thrown out. Some lights didn’t work in the room. It’s not terrible, particularly for the price; however, it’s definitely’under-managed’.

    This hotel was redone at some point to make it modern and nice. Unfortunately the current owner has not maintained it and most of the fixtures are now broken. The window to the street was so filthy i could not see out of it. The sheets and towels were dingy. almost every fixture attached to the wall was damaged or pulled out. The location is OK but I did not feel good about my stay here.

    Dark, dingy, no staff onsite, an unmanned security desk next to doors which remain unlocked after midnight, paper-thin walls next to guests who were loud late into the night. The official website (brooklynhotel-nyc.com) purports to have a kitchen onsite run by two chefs with Michelin-star backgrounds, though it now appears to be permanently closed. The only vending machine is out of order. My room had stained towels and bedding, and the hose to the handheld shower head was rusted and broken open, spraying everywhere. But hey, for all its faults… is it at least convenient? Also no! ~6 minute walk to the A, but a 10 minute walk at least to hit the outskirts of the truly walkable parts of Brooklyn. The best I can say is that it had a bed. My travel plans changed such that I had to fly home a day early. I wasn't sad to leave.

    The hotel is OK but IN a run down area of Bed Stiy. Lots of little places to eat but only a few are appealing (like little coffee shop around corner called Furman’s, very nice). Subway access is close.Our hall way floor was sticky and the carpet in our room made the bottom of my feet dirty. The bed was clean and comfortable but the pillows had seen better days. The staff was quickly responsive when we asked for help with TV and for more bottled water. I did notice that the reception desk was surrounded by there thckk security plastic. I understood the reason for this when I saw an irate, yelling guest complaining about his room not being what he paid for as the bed was broken. I think we lucked out with our room.

    Though the room was tidy, there were some dust on top of the tea maker and other electronics. The refrigerator in the room was barely able to maintain a cold temperature, the ice cream we placed in the freezer portion got soft and was partially melted. The bathroom had a giant sliding door that looked nice but seemed like it needed some maintenance as it took a lot of effort to open and close. The rooms weren't properly sound insulated as you can hear conversations held by pedestrians outside window and you were able to hear activity in the hallways.

    Hand shower not working – I cut my finger trying to make it work. No extra blankets available in the room. The area was terrible – not the hotel admins' fault, though! Having to check in through a security glass (!) is quite telling about the neighborhood. The room was clean but I cannot say the same about the lobby area. Complementary bottled water would have been a nice touch. Overall, not a terrible experience, but at these rates I'd rather not return.

    The hotel was in a less than desireable area, but that was the least of my concerns after seeing the property. My tv didnt work (and I was never moved to another room after being told I would). When I picked up the phone to call downstaris I was left with a receiver and a hanging chord that didn't fit or match the actual phone. The elevator showed no state inspection and made so much noise and rumbling that I opted to walk the 4 flights my entire stay. The rooms had no windows, my neighbor complained of roaches and clogged drains and when I left my clothes had a distinct rancid odor. Needless to say I will not ever return.

    Planned to stay at this Hotel because of a family members graduation the following day. Arrived later in the evening due to work, and did not check in.     Property looked like it was in process of renovating. Clean updated rooms but lobby was not inviting. Rooms did not seem to have sound insulation. Could hear other guests and tvs like they were in the same room. Elevator was scary noisy.

    Poor and unmaintained hotel. All public areas were run down and out of service. The bar area had a water heater behind it and was disarray. Room itself was okay. Pillows on the bed looked more like accent pillows. Mattress had a massive brown stain. Would not recommend staying here.

    This is not a hotel that should be open to out of town guest. I seems as if there are local people living or staying there long term. This is definitely not a place to bring your family. And there is no parking. I got in late and had to park on a back street behind the hotel and walk.

    The lobby of the hotel was a huge eyesore. Maybe the plexiglass window at the front desk is a safety measure from would be criminals, but it is not an inviting look for guests checking in. The lobby furniture is old and worn and they appeared to have broken equipment sitting in the area that was probably a bar at one time. Though very efficient, the staff was not very friendly,

    I felt unsafe in this hotel. There was extremely loud partying and weed-smoking until the early morning. I could not sleep through the noise or smell. The staff was not helpful when called on the concerns. I would not recommend this stay

    This property isn't in it's prime. It's extremely outdated. The rooms are rented out for kids parties, there for lots of noise. Smoke alarms going off in the early morning (1am) because those kids were having to much fun. I wouldn't stay there again.

    The internet password would not work and the open wifi I didn't trust got warning messages from apnews ... Don't use are going to other than a public site. TV's did not work for 2 of 3 days... they didn't seem to care said it must be the wind...

    There is NO parking. The photos are not what the room accommodations look like. They do not provide any cleaning, bedding, towels at all for the three days I spent there. The WiFi is attached to the television and when it goes out you’re unable to watch nor do they attempt to acknowledge/advise with apologies. The area outside the hotel is not maintained at all trash all over the place.

    I’ve stayed at this property years ago and there’s a big downgrade from then to now. Initially walking into the hotel things look ok until u walk further inside. Their little bar area has chairs that look like they will fall apart if you sit on them and the benches look like they’ve had them for centuries with the peeling leather. On the 2nd floor there’s a dip in the hallway floor so be careful. Once in the room first thing you notice is the refrigerator is leaning out from under the counter. In the bathroom the mirror was broken and leaning off the wall and the faucet kept dripping hot water to the point they had someone come turn it off so didn’t have hot water the whole stay. The walls were chipped and paint peeling, tv in the living room area didn’t work, hand prints on the bathroom tiles and water leaking out of an opened pipe in the shower area. Last but not least the pillows on the bed were so small they look like accent pillows for a couch. Will not stay here again.

    When I visited this hotel several years back it wasn’t in the state it’s in now—just above a state of disrepair. The finishings were nice, featuring double shower heads and modern touches. Now those same finishings are falling apart. There was standing water in my shower with slow drainage which I mentioned to the front desk but they did nothing about. The bed was sunken in, in the middle. This was brought to the attention of the front desk but they didn’t offer to change my room or anything. The hotel reuses stained towels and bedding, giving an overall feel of uncleanliness. No one comes to clean your room unless requested. I was in town for a funeral of an immediate family member. I hardly had time to think about things like that. Housekeeping should be cleaning every two days (with or without a request). The staff can also take a crash course in hospitality. They don’t greet anyone and it’s apparent they don’t like their job. The first night of my four night stay, I noticed my pillows were dirty. I told the front desk and they sent someone up to give me pillowcases. I toughed it out because of convenience but my next visit to NY won’t be there.

    The elevators sound like it was going to break down. There is no restaurant, the maintenance in the rooms needs much better up keeping for the price they charge. You can feel the springs in the chairs. One thing I can say is that it is very spacious.

    The hotel is in slight disrepair. A lobby meant to have some type of bar or hot bar was abandoned. Though non smoking, there has clearly been smoking in our room before. The doors slam in the hallway and are VERY LOUD in the rooms.

    They did not know anything about rhe area and could not even give directions or advise on activities. The bathroom in the lobby is locked and yhe staff fuss to open it. There is no restaurant in the hotel. The wifi is poor The elevator makes a lot of noise like it is going to break
