Great location. Nice staff. Room was very comfortable and spacious by NYC standards. Breakfast was nothing special, however.

There was an awful smell in my room that smelled like the gases they administer during surgery.

The most significant issue was the climate control in one of our rooms. Upon arrival, the room was stiflingly warm. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk three separate times, the only solution provided was for maintenance to manually flip a switch on the AC unit. This temporary fix only lasted about 90 minutes before the room heated up again. Maintenance eventually identified that the compressor was faulty, yet no further action was taken to resolve the issue or offer us a room change. After three failed attempts to fix the problem, we stopped calling, as it was clear the staff was unwilling to provide a permanent solution. Regarding cleanliness, housekeeping only provided fresh towels and made the bed; they failed to properly clean the room, as we found paper scraps and a toenail clipping on the carpet. Furthermore, the hallway carpets leading to the elevators were visibly dirty. This level of service and maintenance is unacceptable for an executive-level suite. Key Issues Experienced: * Inadequate climate control in the executive suite. * Ineffective maintenance responses regarding a faulty AC compressor. * Limited housekeeping services that failed to meet basic hygiene standards. * Neglected cleanliness in both the guest room and common hallway areas. * Poor value for the high price point paid for the room category.

Great location, helpful staff. The breakfast was okay, not our southern usual but okay. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Quiet, comfy rooms and beds. The only odd thing was the glass doors on the bathroom door (in the middle of the room). It was obscured but still odd.

Friendly staff, easy check in/check out, 24/7 registration. There was quite dark in the room, not enough lighting, and the second day the lights were not working at all in the vestibule/upon entrance to the room. But after indicating the problem to the staff, it was corrected. Also, the air conditioner was not working, although there was equipment, but the remote controller was not working (probably without batteries).

I liked that it was walking distance to everything and had a breakfast. Would have been great to have a restaurant on-site.

Perfect location; very close to midtown attractions and mass transit, but far enough from the crowded, noisy areas like Times Square. Staff was helpful and effective I spent six days, the breakfast was the same, one thing alternating: meat ball or veggie patty. There was not a piece of fresh produce offered during my whole stay, I would have appreciated a slice of cucumber, pepper or tomato.

Excellent location, very kind staff, cleanliness, comfortable. The breakfast isn’t very varied—more of a basic option. If you’re not too picky, it’s perfectly fine to eat, and if it’s included in the price, it actually saves you the cost of breakfast, which, in New York, isn’t exactly cheap

Good sized rooms for NYC hotel, was very clean and well maintained. Location is perfect as it's a quick walk to Times Square and Broadway for shows but you're not staying in the noise and chaos of Times Square itself. The breakfast offering is a little limited but it gets the job done. Staff were friendly and helpful, shout out to Sonny at reception!

Free hot breakfast each morning was nice and free water bottle fill was a nice touch for all the walking you'll do . We would stay there again when we come back

It was acceptable if you just want a place to sleep. The images online are deceiving about the space in the room. Not much space to hang your clothes and not enough light. My room was very dark. Also not much in the way of bathroom counter space or bathroom privacy. More than 1 person in this room is too many unless you enjoy sharing all the moments!😬

The hotel rooms are always clean and comfortable. and the mattresses are firm/supportive and in good shape-- which is VERY important for comfort after an entire day of walking around NYC. Plenty of hot water for showers.Although the rooms are a bit small, that is par for Manhattan, and we're not there to spend hours in our hotel room. The hotel is clean, SAFE, QUIET, and the location is nearby to places we need (kosher restaurants, Whole Foods Market is not far away, and proximity to the subway is a huge plus). The clouded/obscure glass on the bathroom sliding door is a terrible idea. There's VERY LITTLE privacy. People can still see that there is a person sitting on the toilet or see you naked getting in and out of the shower. Whose idea was THAT??

The room was comfortable and everything went well during our stay. However, we had an issue on the first night. “Someone entered our room without our permission and left the door open, even though no one was supposed to enter the room while we were away.” This was quite concerning since we had valuable items in the room and it could have been risky. Fortunately, nothing was stolen and the rest of our stay went very well. Despite this incident, our overall experience was still positive.

This hotel is really at the center of Midtown. You have a lot to do within just a few blocks. Great restaurants and bars (Magic Hour, Refinery Rooftop, Calle Dao, Parker and Queen), to mention a few. The rooms are spacious (for NYC hotels). I had a single room, it has a king bed, a desk, and a sofa. The bathroom is superclean and has plenty of space. The free daily breakfast is a great benefit. Their staff is friendly and always willing to help. I've stayed at this location multiple times, and I highly recommend it for anyone coming to spend a few days in NYC.

The mini fridge and microwave in the room were convenient. The complimentary breakfast was a great feature and saved us a lot of money. The hotel was centrally located, easily walkable to places such as The Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Broadway. There were great restaurants nearby. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.

We did have to move rooms late one night when we arrived back to the hotel at 11:30pm with our kids and found out the room key didn't work. We weren't notified ahead of time or given different options. We arrived back at the hotel, had to pack up all our stuff and move to a different room. It was very inconvenient. We would appreciate some sort of credit or reimbursment for the disruption. I understand things happen, but finding out the way we did so late at night when we arrived back to the hotel and were ready to go to bed was really frustrating.

Location!! Walking distance to Times Square, Summit, Empire State Bldg, and more. We only used subway to get to Downtown and Central Park. The smell in our room. It was musty with an unspecified odor. I guess it’s expected in the older building.

I was charged for the room and never checked in. The woman at the desk told me my picture I'd was not the right one. So she said I wouldn't be charged for the night and I was still charged.i would like to be re-imbursed for the total amount. She also said I needed a 200 dollar deposit which I was never told about . So I am not happy at all. I was hoping it would be taking care of. And I would be. Reimbursed. So I don't have to call corporate and make a complaint. Thank you Robert Suzio and Angelina Glaser. The staff was of great help since day one. We had problem with the shower door, and it was fixed at the moment, we went to front desk. Breakfast was an extra. Close to many attractions and places to eat. Recommend this hotel and would book again.

The property was very nice except for a few little things about the rooms. My room smelled musty and the other room had issues with the air conditioning and shower that were fixed by maintenance. The carpets are stained and need replaced. The breakfast is very nice. Great location.

My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our stay at SpringhillSuites by Marriott. The room was spacious. The hotel was clean and the location was fantastic and very walkable to many attractions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to other guests.

Overall, everything was good. The walkable area around was good, and I was especially surprised by how fast the elevator was. However, there are a lot of cars in front of the hotel, so I don't recommend using Uber, and the lower floors are a little noisy. I'm very satisfied.

It gets super crowded around 8:30 and the worker was really mad that there was a long line at that time and made a snarky comment about people going down right before cleanup. She started cleaning it up well before 9:00 so there wasn’t much left out by the time we got through the line (still before 9:00)

Rooms are significantly smaller than any other hotel I’ve ever been in - including in NYC. The bathroom has virtually no privacy if you’re sharing a room. The property desperately needs updates to amenities.

They did provide a free breakfast that was good. However it was packed in teh dinning area and there was often no place to sit. Awesome location with close proximity to dining, subway and attractions. Staff was super accommodating and were able to check us in early and hold our luggage at no fee. The only negative is that their breakfast area is way too small and condensed. It was hard trying to get breakfast and walk through the crowd. Overall great stay!

Clean room, convenient breakfast, amazing location, and super friendly/helpful staff. This hotel was perfect for our stay. The room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast included was a nice perk, and the nightly rate was reasonable. They kindly held our luggage after checkout, since our flight was later that day. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel was good, great location for walking around the city. Room was clean, it had a comfy bed and a great shower. Breakfast was basic but all you need and they had gluten free bread available, which is great for coeliacs like me!

The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very tasty. The rooms were nice and well-maintained. I would stay here again, no problem. I would recommend it to a friend.

Solid hotel choice for a NYC trip. Rooms are small, breakfast is busy, but staff are welcoming and helpful. It wasn’t a posh stay by any means, but we weren’t in NYC for the hotel! Great location, near subway and Times Square.

Room was clean and housekeeping was great. Breakfast was pretty good, just small space for how many people are there. Location was convenient to most places. Rooms need updating. TV is old, Can't see out the dirty windows, mattresses are pretty bad and a mattress topper does not help. I know its NYC and rooms are small and expensive, but having an updated room would make the $500 a night much easier to swallow.

This was a very simple, clean, easy safe hotel. Nothing fancy or luxurious, no amenities, small rooms. But decent value.

We would have preferred more lighting options in the room, however, and the outside (front from the sidewalk) could be cleaner. Otherwise, we enjoyed the property.

I really really liked the staff and their breakfast as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. I will not have any problem going back there.

Room was clean and nicely furnished; staff was friendly and helpful, particularly Louis, the doorman/luggage storage guy. Did not like the frosted door to the bathroom. If one of us got up to go to the bathroom at night, the other person woke up from the bright light. Need to have a night light in the bathroom or a door that is opaque. I chose the hotel because of the breakfast, but didn't bother with the breakfast since it was so packed with people.

Everything was good, until the transportation arrange by the hotel that took us to the airport! The driver charge us for 95 dollars while we agreed for 75 dollars!

Clean.. easy access to everything . Small bathroom! Definitely will come back to stay while in New York.

Great place for a quick stay in Midtown. Short walk from the subway to get everywhere you need to go. All of the staff we interacted with were great. We had a great view of the Empire state building which was a huge plus.

Nice Staff. Decent room. small but worked fine. They fixed our A/C unit super fast after we called. Great Location. NIce view of the ESB.

Excellent place, clean, breakfast include which is very convenient. Very close to Penn Station and major attractions. Great for first timers.

The only thing I found disappointing was the fact that there is a laundry available, but the reception never has quarters to change, ending up in not being able to use this service

Our room had a great view of the Empire State Building. Two queen beds and small but all we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and appreciated. We’d book here again.

I recently stayed here for 5 nights on a girls from from Oregon to NYC. The property was in a great location, easy to get to any place you wanted in the city. The building was older and the lobby is small'ish but the hotel has everything you need. The breakfast included was nice and had good options so you could start your day with some food. The breakfast area does get very busy and is pretty cramped, but that's NYC for you. We loved our stay here and will return again on future trips.
