Reviews
The hotel's location is consistently praised across all reviews, with guests appreciating its proximity to various attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. However, the condition of the rooms is a common concern, with many guests noting that the rooms are outdated, worn, or not as clean as they would have liked. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, but there are some instances of poor customer service.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Outdated or worn rooms
- Inconsistent cleanliness

Super worn down, not as pictured. Room was really run down, carpet was oddly wet. Bathroom was covered in water and shower was moldy.
- 4/5
Place was a great location in SOHO but wish the AC was Colder and Cooled Faster. We turned the A/C on Full Blast Cold And It took around 5-6 hours for the room to get comfortable. Luckily we were sitting by the ac so that helped but was a bit surprised it took so long.

Do not stay here! Everything about how they market this hotel is a lie. Many of the pictures online are stock photos, and there is zero “elegance” about it. Quite the opposite! The interior is badly run down and surfaces are corroded. It markets a lounge that is nonexistent. My bathroom had severe mold in several places, holes in the walls and ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The water in the shower had a brown tint. It is also located on the street to the tunnel so it is loud at all hours and deadlock traffic in front of the hotel so you have to walk a few blocks for a cab.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. But, there was no ice bucket or refrigerator or cups. The air conditioner was very loud. The clothing storage area and the carpet showed signs of age. Unfortunately the bar was being used for storage and there was no area to purchase snacks. The lobby was very small. I did like that there was free water available. And the hotel was in walking distance of many places that I visited in SoHo. Also, the beds were very comfortable.

- 5/5
Nice and clean room in a good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and they give out unlimited free bottles of water to guests that was a nice little touch. There’s also a rooftop terrace that has a nice view that we very much enjoyed at night. The only slight negative was that there’s no refrigerator in the room, but that’s not a huge deal and everything else was great and would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Hotel location is convenient, very easy access to subway. The room is old and bathroom has molded on the wall. Outside is very noisy, the cars were honking nonstop loudly until midnight 2:00 AM! Can’t complain because it’s in city.
- 2/5
The picture on the website and Expedia make the property look much newer and nicer than it was in reality. Everything felt old and dirty. We had to change rooms because the first one obviously hadn’t been cleaned and there was a pubic hair on the toilet. The bathroom also had black mold galore. For the price point I felt ripped off.
- 1/5
Misleading pricing due to a mandatory “resort fee” that was only disclosed after booking, adding significant extra cost and making the stay far more expensive than expected. The hotel condition was also disappointing compared to photos, with dated rooms and unreliable Wi-Fi. Overall poor value for money and not recommended.

We recently stayed at SoHo 54 Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Sean at the front desk was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The entire staff was accommodating and attentive, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made our visit to New York City even more enjoyable. Thank you to Sean and the team for making us feel so welcome!
- 1/5
When they moved our rooms, they did upgrade which was appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was once again, harrowingly putrid. Grime in every corner and a bathroom so filthy and poorly maintained i can’t even describe. Couldn’t recommend this less. Our expectations were high as the price is reasonable but this was…. Something else.
- 4/5
The hotel was older than we expected, it was maintained well, but did have some bumps and bruises still noticeable. The shower design was a little poor with water splashing over a good portion of the bathroom floor, but at least not running out into the room. The air conditioning did struggle during the day, but did catch up at night. Definitely not reading the correct temperature because 66 was not cold and the fan was a little loud. Hey, exhausted by the end of the day of walking and site seeing, so very tired and still slept. View was not the best on the 9th floor, so get higher if you can. Walkable and relatively safe location, 9 to 12 minutes to the nearest subway stations. One bad thing, the entrance to the Holland tunnel is nearby and if it's backed up, there is a lot of honking cars nearby.
- 3/5
Checking in was ok but staff looked underwhelmed and did not speak very friendly. One thing we did appreciate was the free water bottles at the check in desk. Don't have high expectations.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and had a great location, and the staff was helpful and friendly. There were no significant issues at all. But the property was not well maintained. The room had peeling wallpaper and torn carpet and damaged furniture. And the shower made a very loud whistling noise when in use. But aside from those issues the room was very clean and there were no other problems. However I don't know if I would stay here again given the poorly maintained room.

I had a wonderful stay at Soho 54 and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York. The location is excellent, very clean, safe, and surrounded by great restaurants and breakfast spots. It’s also incredibly convenient, with the Canal Street subway station just a 3-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. My room was lovely, always spotless, and equipped with everything I needed. The hotel made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Overall, I loved everything about this hotel. If I return to New York in the future, I will definitely stay at Soho 54 again. Highly recommended!

Not a $400 a night hotel.
- 5/5
Our room was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great. The hotel is aging, so the wallpaper is not all intact, and the carpet could use a refresh, but what could feel dirty at other hotels still felt well cared for and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and we had maid service every day. We loved the free water at the front desk: I initially thought we wouldn’t use it, but it was a lifeline when arriving back to the hotel after a full day of exploring. The fitness room is bright and clean, the lounge area is absolutely charming; my daughter opted for hot chocolate at midnight and a staff member checked to make sure the water was hot enough (it was). I was also grateful for the solid bathroom walls—too many hotels have gone with the frosted glass partition styles recently. Coffee maker in the room, ice bucket with ice machine on the next floor, plenty of armoire/night table/desk space. The hotel is small enough that we never had to wait for an elevator or be in a crowded one. The rooftop lounge is a rare treat, too—it’s not a bar and it’s available to all guests, not just top-tier ones. We took a couple of meals up there and enjoyed the view. There’s a great little bodega with a grill on the corner with excellent and reasonably priced food; bagels in the morning at the cute park across the street, and a corned beef on rye on the hotel rooftop in the evening? Perfection.
- 1.5/5
The staff is responsive and understanding. Located at the entrance of the Holland tunnel. Roadworks create gridlock traffic from midnight on and it is immensely noisy. It is impossible to sleep when facing the street.

Excelente ubicación una línea de metro a cada lado del hotel , muchos restaurantes en los alrededores,
- 5/5
Situated in Soho near both villages, Chinatown, Little Italy, and Tribeca. This hotel provides excellent service while you explore the city. The terrace on the 19th floor has a view to go with your coffee. Many fine Restaurants are a stones throw away from the hotel. You are one block away from excitement in all directions or you can hide in the backstreets. Enjoyed my stay very much.
- 2/5
This place is coasting on its prime location. It's in serious need of a renovation. The rooms are small and outdated. The air conditioner is loud and ineffective. The curtains don't fully close. The TV didn't even get the major networks. The rooftop looks like it's been forgotten. Despite the great location, I would not stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at Soho 54. It was easily accessible by subway (and bus M20). The staff was friendly and helpful when I reported a broken lamp (it was immediately replaced). The room was clean, roomy (for a solo traveler), and comfortable (especially the bed). My room was on the 16th floor and was quiet. The AC worked properly with an easy-to-use thermostat. I would stay here again.

The staff were phenomenal. The room was small. The bathroom was small. The sink was very small-nowhere to set any personal items. The tub/shower area needs an update, but we were still able to take hot showers. There was a stain on a drape in our room. This was an older hotel and was a bit dated. It is walking distance to SoHo and Tribeca.

Stay somewhere else. The first room they put me in smelled like cigarette smoke. I asked to change, and they put me in another room two doors down that smelled like cigarette smoke. Guessing the floor used to be a smoking floor. The curtains were broken, the frame around the door was broken, the wallpaper in the room was peeling, and they have a lock on the thermostat. All in all, it's giving roadside motel vibes.

Felt like it was not clean. The room had damaged elements. It was an exceptionally small hotel room by US standards. The bar was not open. It was being used to store luggage. Curtains torn and tiles missing in the room. Most alarming: I returned and found my key card wasn’t working. I thought I heard noises in the room. I went back to the desk to get a new card. Returned to my room. It appeared some one had used the toilet and failed to flush and the shower door was open in a way I hadn’t left it. Can’t say for certain but I am concerned the room may have been second leased for some purpose and I’m troubled by that

The SOHO-54 was a perfect headquarters for our weeklong stay in NYC. The location in the heart of SOHO was magical. There where some complementary facilities that where really nice, like the all day coffee, tea and hot chocolate station. The hotel in general was old. There were some specific parts of the room that we found dirty, like the charging station and the remote control.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado la habitación limpia, el problema es q tienen muy poco personal y el q esta no ayuda en nada. Llegamos con 10 maletas por q estábamos de mudanza. No salio nadie ayudarnos a mi hija y a mi. Nos veían y no hacían nada. Pedí una habitación q decía vista soho pague por eso y la habitación estaba ventana con ventana a un edificio. Lo peor fue la asistencia del personal.
- 1/5
Not a great hotel. Many obvious things that should have been fixed. Like the bathroom sink that tilts down so that the soap won’t stay off the floor. Also smelly which was attributed to heavy cleaning products. Bring a scented candle.

Very well situated very close to public transport. A lovely district with loads of eateries close by. It’s a budget hotel but it’s clean and very well situated with places like the World Trade Centre and 9/11 memorial only a 20 min walk away

The location is amazing - so close to everything in Soho. The place is one step up from a dump. They should charge $99/a night. The facilities are gross and old and run down. The sheets smelled so bad I had to put a towel over my pillow to sleep. I also booked separately for 2 nights and they made me move rooms after my first night - even though I offered to "down grade" to a room on a lower floor. It was a big hassle. I am going back to NY at the end of the month and I was going to go back to this hotel but after my experience, I cancelled and booked somewhere else. Stay away!

Soho 54 is located on Watt Street, just before the entrance to the Holland Tunnel (to New Jersey). There is almost always 3-4 lanes of bumper to bumper traffic, with drivers honking their horns constantly. One night there was construction in the tunnel, which led to a backup and a crescendo of horn honking. The air conditioning is wonky, just seems to blow air constantly, and there is no refrigerator in the room. It was not a pleasant stay.

One thing I absolutely hate (and this is not unique to S54), you see the price including all taxes and assume that's it -- then on check in you get the 'resort fee' or 'amenity fee' or whatever they call it - an extra charge for the exercise room in the dungeon and the coffee machine in the room. Really? At $40/night, should have new coffee machines and exercise equipment every week! I hate sneaky fees, and 'amenity fees' are exactly that.
- 5/5
A perfect value hotel- clean, safe, and very comfortable.

Upon arriving we were a little hesitant, the outside leaves a lot to be desired. But this property did not disappoint. It was outdated and I did use Lysol wipes on surfaces in our room. But I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, elevators were fast. Excellent location to Canal St.subway. Fantastic and clean bodega 24/7 next door. Unlimited free bottles water at front desk and a rooftop terrace. Luggage storage in lobby. Had everything we needed. Great bargain! Stayed a Friday-Sunday in Spring for $580 total.

Clean, well-sized room, comfortable bed, great view. And the staff were courteous, pleasant, and accommodating. Great stay!
- 1/5
Location Room was incredibly dirty- mold in the bathroom, ceiling, windowsill and dust everywhere.
- 2.5/5
Amazing location! Honestly, felt super safe and was comfortable the whole time. The walls are thin but it’s also New York so it’s loud no matter what. The property is definitely in need of some love. A lot of parts of the room had bandaids where they could easily just do a full fix and be good for a while.
- 2/5
They make a small effort with free water and coffee. It’s a good value in the $150 range for Manhattan, if pricing is above that look elsewhere.
- 4/5
Pro: close to bars and clubs, you save money on uber
- 3.5/5
outside was not nice. the whole place was tiered.
- 2.5/5
The location was great. The king size bed was good. The staff were always nice. It is a very basic place. It was under construction, perhaps needed updating. No rooms with terraces were available. It just felt like a two star hotel, not three. No refrigerators in the room but you could request one When we eventually got it, it did not work well and there really wasn’t room for it in the room. The staff were always very nice and tried to be as accommodating as they could.
- 3/5
The room wasn’t too small. The room was a little beaten up. Lots of Scuffs scratches, dings and dents.
- 5/5
Great stay everything that I expected
- 5/5
Very conveniently located by the Holland tunnel. Used a parking lot right around the corner on Varrick. Easy walk to get to the subway. Staff was very nice and friendly.
- 4/5
Room size was quite generous for NYC. Soho location was great for accessing neighborhoods. Super convenient to C and E 8th Ave subway line (15 minutes to the Broadway theater district). Walk to the Public Theater in the East Village Aesthetically the front entrance was extremely run down. And the rooms showed signs of wear: very old carpet, buckling wall covering in the bath.
- 4/5
Hotel is not well maintained and looks old. However, location is amazing and the staff are really friendly. If you are looking for great location with reasonable price in NYC, this is the right place for you.
- 5/5
Can you ask for? Definitely a budget friendly option.
- 3/5
This hotel is under construction and isn’t as pictured. Pictures that have been posted are from 2008 (I google searched them) the staff at this location is wonderful but I definitely never would’ve booked if I’d known the state of the rooms and this hotel

Staff at desk was super nice, but the carpets throughout building are in poor shape, the window didn’t close securely all the way (you can see the snow leaking in), signs of water damage along tub and towel rack visibly falling off the wall in the bathroom.

Disheveled place. I know it’s almost 3 star, but I would not stay there again., only did it because everything was booked for that specific night. I would give the entire situation including the building, the space in front of the front door, the lobby, the courtesy of the staff, the room, the protocol how they run things inside, etc. etc. C+. -

Staff was fantastic, everyone was friendly and accommodating. Free bottled water in the lobby, also tea and coffee 24/7. Room is a bit dated, but they kept it clean and nothing was obviously just falling apart. Great experience and location, i loved my stay here.

Staff seemed nice but when I tried to check in early they were like "20-40mins" but I ended up waiting an hour and finally it was 3pm check in and the room was ready but no one let me know. Everything was dinged- walls, wood, wallpaper in bathroom stapled on bc it's rippling, carpet was all damaged and had runs in it. I'm usually not picky but this was bad! Room appeared clean though.

For what I paid I expected much better quality. Or maybe it's a New York thing. Draingage in the bathroom sink wasn't great. Asked for someone to take a look and was told nothing could be done.

Very kind and helpful staff. Hotel is a bit out dated but great stay overall.

Have always stayed in Midtown to be close to the shows but always found ourselves gravitating to SOHO to visit. 1st time staying in the neighborhood and loved the location; close to Spring and Prince St. and just a few minutes' walk to the subway. Team was super helpful and friendly. Felt it was well worth the price; definitely will be back.
- 5/5
Great price, really good people, clean room would have no other way
- 3/5
Very convenient location - close to Soho and Canal St
- 4/5
The room was clean and reasonably quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rate was solid and I appreciated having a way to store a week’s worth of clothes.
- 4/5
Staff were nice, free waters, room was clean and exactly what I expected. The offsite parking they refer is $75 a night not $65
- 2/5
The receptionist was friendly and nice. And upgraded me unexpectedly to a suite. But the upgraded room was not great. The phone was missing buttons, the wifi didn't work, there was water on the floor of the bathroom, mold in the shower, big scrapes in the wall, toothpaste splatter on the faucet, and no curtains to block the light from the open bathroom concept into the sleeping area. Unfortunately it was the only room in the hotel left so it wasn't possible to get the room I actually booked (or any other) instead. The bed was soft which was nice but there weren't any extra blankets - just the one thin one I had to fold over since I was alone and it's was a king size bed.
- 4/5
Location and easy access to many of the attractions. Staff very friendly. Very clean. Enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
The rooms and hallways were fine - clean but a bit dated. The location can't be beat though! The front desk staff was wonderful - thank you for everything!
- 3/5
Bathrooms a little rough Spacious enough room though and friendly staff
- 5/5
Perfect location!
- 5/5
Always a good stay. Appreciate the upgrade to the suite!
- 3/5
The staff were very nice and easygoing. The room was charming but very run down. The shade was broken and an attempt had been made to repair it with duck tape. It did not close. They offered to change our room but it was too much of a hassle for a two night stay. The WiFi was down so they didn’t charge us for this service. They did not discount for the broken shade. The sheets were some kind of poly blend so hot and not nice to sleep on. The air conditioner turns on and off all night so if this bothers you, it bothered me, you will not get a good night’s sleep!
- 5/5
The hotel is so nice and the people in the front desk is so friendly and help us a lot when we need checking easy check out easy too everybody very nice and very good for service. Thank you so much and we will be back when we come New York.
- 5/5
Furniture in room could be reduced some to create more space. AC was comfortable and easy to adjust. Overall we slept well and weren’t in the room much, so it met our needs. They didn’t have a mini fridge unless you request, luckily they did have this available for us. WiFi was good enough to do some work.
- 3/5
Windows open which is a major plus. Love the free water bottles!
- 5/5

The hotel is fine. Room was dated and towels were a little dingy. But for NYC prices, it's a good deal.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 3/5
The room was fine but very tight on space. Key card didn't work, entrance and facade were a little grim.
- 4/5

- 4/5
The lounge area should be rearranged. TV, coffee, etc not layed out very nice.
- 2/5

- 5/5
Everything was great. We had a room with a terrace which was unique for NYC. Easy access to Soho
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
Good clean property, centrally located, provides bottles of water for use. Had a wifi issue in the room with no connectivity during the stay of 3 days. Maybe something to do with those days or the room
- 2/5
Mothing worked. No wifi, door keys didnt work. Gym was a joke. Bad
- 3/5
I parked further down the street using Spothero. Hotel was perfectly located for our visit. Basic needs met. Nothing fancy, but safe.
- 3/5
The staff was super helpful but it’s an older building so the lock on my door was frustrating to unlock, it might’ve just been the room I had but it was a little sketch, the paint/wallpaper was peeling a bit too but aside from that the room and bathroom were clean which is most important to me and I felt safe so overall a 6.5-7/10 would be rating. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but also would explore other options, for the price (and comparing to other hotels in the area) I would say you pay for what you get, not the worst but not super nice either
- 5/5
Rough entry process due to location - Watts St is an entry road to Holland Tunnel. Took 1/2 hour to get my car to the front of hotel
- 5/5
It was a great stay, very close to stores and restaurants in area.
- 4/5
Very clean, convenient to area easy walk to transit and restaurants
- 4/5
However, the staff were excellent and dealt with this in a very professional manner; whilst the manager ensured that everything was fully resolved without fuss. This made all the difference to my stay and I would stay here again. PS The beds are super comfortable!
- 1/5
We requested a refund through Expedia upon arrival to switch rooms, but it was denied. Expedia stated that the hotel declined the request, though I can’t be certain. What was most disappointing was that the hotel never reached out after the refund request to offer a room change or any assistance to improve our stay. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, especially considering the rate of over $400 per night.
- 4/5
Very good. Staff was friendly and the rooms in pretty good shape for a NY stay. That said, it is right at the entrance to Holland tunnel so between 6-12pm, traffic is backed up and loud with constant honking and people playing loud music, audible even when all windows are closed.
- 2/5
My room smelled like urine, it was disgusting. The carpet felt wet and the bathroom had black mold. The WiFi doesn’t work at all. Couldn’t even get an email to load.
- 2/5
Overall a disappointing experience.
- 2/5
Location is great, however hotel room smelled very badly, AC is extremely loud, and only 1 elevator worked for the entire hotel.
- 4/5
Good location with friendly staff
- 5/5
Service was excellent and staff was helpful. One elevator was a slight inconvenience. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location and price
- 3/5
The rooms left a lot to be desired. Do not resemble the photos. Quite frankly it's a bait and switch situation. The rooms are old and dated. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom. We had to change rooms because the air conditioning in the first room rattled and shaked... The second room the air conditioning didn't turn off. It is however, convenient to the trains... About a 3 minute walk to the Jackie Robinson Museum and a 7 minute walk to Ghostbusters Headquarters. The staff was nice and they hold your bags if you decide to venture out during the day.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Poor repairs done, ie ... A square of wallpaper thumbtacked to the wall in the bathroom, friends had stapled wallpaper in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Nice room in a great location. Staff is very friendly. Short walks to entertainment (comedy cellar), food, shopping, and close subway stations make it super easy to get anywhere in Manhattan in 20 minutes or less. A little congested on Watts does cause a fair amount of traffic noise at night until about 11 pm.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and it was a great location! You get what you pay for! Our first room was damp and had a bad smell, but the staff quickly moved us. Our new room was totally fine. Very basic stay, but amazing location!
- 4/5
Staff was helpful & room was clean. But the entire week, the wifi didn't work in the room which doesn't help when you're there for work. Gym was missing weights not helping trying to exercise.
- 3/5
Adjacent room was loud, could hear way too much through connecting door.
- 4/5
Good services.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel based on its online reviews and proximity to an event I was attending. I stayed for 3 nights and paid over $2,000. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price or expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front entrance looked cheap and uninviting. The building itself is poorly maintained—filthy windows and a lack of clear signage made it feel more like a rundown apartment than a good hotel. The lobby, elevators, and hallways all had a dated, budget feel that was completely out of sync with the cost. The room was even worse. Everything felt old and neglected: the pillows were flat and worn, the furniture was scratched, the light shade were broken, and the carpet was dirty with visible rips. The bathroom had grime in the corners and felt unhygienic. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. For the price, you can absolutely find better, cleaner, and more professionally managed accommodations in the city. I would strongly advise fellow travelers to look elsewhere.

- 5/5

- 5/5
Great location and nice room! Friendly staff
- 3/5
We really had to wait a long time for the elevators and the noise from the street was very loud, we could not sleep.
- 5/5
Clean and simple. Good value.
- 3/5
Room smelled, carpet torn, only one working elevator
- 4/5
The staff was helpful; the housekeeper was very professional; the rooms were in need of new furnishings and a refrigerator. The bathrooms were nice.
- 3/5
The stay was fine and the price probably reflects the experience but the rooms were incredibly dated and parts, particularly in the bathroom were a little unclean. The front desk staff also weren’t the most welcoming.
- 5/5
great time at soho!
- 1/5
Everything about this place sucks - the pictures don't even vaguely resemble the images on expedia
- 4/5
Loved that it was easy to walk to many metro stations and the many dining choices around. Near Little Italy and China Town. They make bottled water easily available for free. Nice bath amenities. The downside was the internet was abysmal, likely because we were on the 3rd floor. It worked much better when we went to the roof. Bathroom sliding door was very heavy and hard to close. The bathroom is large but not much counter space to put your cosmetics on. But I definitively would stay here again but will ask for a higher floor.
- 2/5
Not sure what I spent the money on. Room was ripped apart, doors were all scratched, nothing to offer on this hotel. Good location but not worth $700. Never again
- 5/5
Older but great price, quiet, comfy bed
- 1/5
Photos of the room do not depict the actual room. Upon opening the door and entering the room, there is a strong odor of mildew, the carpeting is sticky and I chose not to walk barefoot in the room. The grout along the sink is rotting out, the towels are in dire need of replacement and were covered in stains. There were a pair of dirty panties someone who previously stayed in the room left behind that only further validated that the room had not been properly cleaned. Drunk people were yelling in the halls late night, I notified the front desk who stated they were already aware but the yelling continued. I would not recommend staying at this facility. In booking this hotel I thought I was getting a good value by paying a lower price than other options, however I wish I would have known the condition of the hotel prior to booking, I would have spent a little more for a much healthier experience.
- 5/5
Great apt
- 4/5
A fridge in the room would have been nice, and the bar downstairs not available was disappointing
- 5/5
Great location, clean hotel and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Quiet room with really comfortable king size bed, in close proximity to many bodegas and restaurants of all type. Conveniently located near 2 different subway lines and bus routes too. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
One working elevator for a property with this many rooms is not enough. We waited 33 minutes for an elevator on the forth floor with no air conditioning on the right halfway. Many people waited and were frustrated.
- 3/5
The location was great but there was some patches of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. Once informed the reception staff changed our room and no further problems.
- 5/5
Great stay! The hotel was clean, and housekeeping went above and beyond—adjusting their schedule for us, refreshing everything daily, and keeping the room spotless. The location is safe and very walkable to shops, restaurants, and the subway. Only minor downside was needing to go downstairs to warm food, but overall we really liked it and would stay again.
- 5/5
Pretty decent for what it is. Only complaint is the elevators are super slow! Rooms could use a bit more dehumidifier, but overall very clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Conveniently located in soho. Check in was a breeze and double room with tribeca view is totally worth it. Would stay here again my next time in the city
- 5/5
Free bottled water at the desk, refrigerator upon request
- 5/5
Great location for the things we wanted to do. Nice staff!
- 4/5
Great location to get around. Rooftop could be better furnished and cleaner. Great location
- 3/5
The room and in fact the building needs to be upgraded! Noisy neighbors and graying tub! The staff were friendly and professional! Surprised addition to my online payment; of $200,
- 2/5
Not worth
- 3/5
This is a reasonable hotel in SOHO area. The hotel web site or photos in Expedia look great but actually the room I used was old and shabby. If you are looking for a reasonable hotel in the area (all you need is a bed), I recommend this hotel. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, you should skip this hotel.
- 5/5
Front desk was awesome with an issue and it wasn’t even their fault . Thank you again
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again for my next business trip in NYC.
- 1/5
dirty smelly
- 4/5
Friendly helpful staff. Good location. Nice common area with tables and seating.
- 2/5
My room was super dirty looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever paint peelingoff the walls the pictures look absolutely nothing like the room at all it shows a lil living room area the room wasnt even close to big enough to even have that ... there was no mini fridge no microwave and the door disnt work half the time we had to get 4 different keys we eventually gave up and stopped asking because they kept blaming us for the problem but the door was messed up for the first time we went entered the room the air conditioner didnt work dont waste your money on this place stay somewhere else
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, and the 24-hour coffee and tea service was a very good bonus.
- 5/5
I continue to stay here on business because of convenience, price and good staff. Bathroom and bed always clean.
- 5/5
I highly recommend this hotel.
- 3/5
Average hotel in need of some renovation. Ok for 1-2 nights.
- 4/5
It was nice. Free water was a plus.
- 3/5
Good value and a few minutes walk to Greenwich Vllage, Poor wifi and run down look if you care about that!
- 3/5
It was a good stay but it would’ve been great if the AC unit worked properly. Not terrible but wouldn’t recommend.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
In NYC. It is conveniently located near the subway. Great restaurants and shopping that is walking distance. The staff is helpful. They stowed our bags for us while we went sightseeing. It was very hot during our stay in NY and the air conditioning in the lobby and our room was great. The furnishings and room are outdated but that didn’t bother me one bit.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service
- 4/5
Great area and close to everything you would need! Definitely some old furniture, curtains, carpet etc but bathroom felt super clean and bed was comfy. Staff was really nice and free water bottles! Definitely fine for a few nights on a work trip where I’m out for the day.

Great place to stay and always had hot coffee if you wanted a cup. They allowed me to have a late check out of 12 PM. They also held onto your bag so you can go and do some stuff for the day and come back and get your bags before heading out of the city. Worked out really good.

Great hotel, easy and convenient excellent customer service

My first room did not have a working dead bolt but I was able to get moved to a new room very easily. The staff at the front door were great. Both rooms I went to had a damp smell and the bathroom was not as clean as one would expect.

Hotel itself is doing quite well at looking good in the surroundings. Front of building needs work but this might increase the rate I am getting so....I understand. I do like this hotel. I am a regular, weekly business user.

Had a great time, great location too!

Excellent place for the price. Outside needs a “spruce up”. Great AC. Nice warm staff.

I didn't like the musty smell. Didn't like going to sleep wondering what I was breathing in.

The property was clean and well kept. The staff was amazing and very helpful. For NYC the parking garage was near by and decently priced. Many dining options near by. Quick walk to subway red line which made going uptown easy.

Good stay, location, etc. thanks

Too expensive for what they offered. No food available at the site.

It was a good stay. Perfect for a last minute stay.

The hotel was run down. Wallpaper coming off the walls, old carpeting, and slow drains made for a subpar stay.

The room was a bit dated only downside however it served a purpose. It’s great that you can get free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room on the reception floor thats a great perk however when I came to get a drink there was no hot water in the machine provided so don’t use this facility. Overall great place to put your head down in a great location.

Unfortunately, I forgot my Lysol wipes.

An older building, good location for lower manhattan sightseeing/shopping. Few amenities, nice staff. Relatively new, so there are some kinks they need to work on, and they are. Served our needs, for a good price. Wouldn't recommend for families at this point.

excellent service

Comfortable and perfect for the propose of only going there to sleep. Other than that sheets were dirty, it was clean. The front desk workers are saints that let me use their phone charger.

Room had water dripping from the ceiling all night. Floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Dirty room. They charge $40 for water and coffee and you have no choice in that fee when you arrive.

Very clean and professional

The ac worked but not well. We were there when it was 80 and it was hot and humid.

I know it’s NYC but rooms way over priced ….they could have at least provided some kind of muffins in their nice coffee room. Looked like a nice bar was used as luggage storage……open the bar!!!!
