    Phone in room didn’t work. Called front desk from my cell and waited in hold for 12 minutes. Asked for silverware for the room. Brought 2 forks and knives. Not even with a napkin. The guy just handed them to me. Ick.

    The property was clean and well maintained, and the staff was helpful and patient when answering questions. My only complaints were that the walls seemed thin, as I could hear conversations and doors opening and closing from neighboring rooms, and the refrigerator kept items cool rather than fully cold.

Tons of food options around and the area is safe. They also let you store your luggage after checking out if you need more time in the area. Google maps doesn't work well in the area. I had to wait 4extra hours to check in the manger wasn’t pleasant at all. The room was already paid my friend card didn’t hold the deposit. That wasn’t previously told! I tried using my card on my phone which in the wallet I refused. I travelled 4 hours on train to wait 4 more hours to check in! Never was told I can check my bag in so I can at lease site see while waiting! Very rude and when my friend got there another worker automatically asked for his card. With out knowing it was him which shows I was previously discussed with employees! Hated the outside was closed and gym guess wasn’t warned.

    I made my reservation for this one and not the Residence Inn I was supposed to. They were kind enough to let me out of my reservation here and go to the other one around corner. Granted, the one I stayed at was lovely enough, but I think this one was the better one. Great staff, and I really appreciate their kindness and willingness to help.

    Clean Unfriendly to the customers, not oriented to the customer issues. No coordination with booking.com concerning payment conditions. They do not care what payment condition Booking.come gives to the customer. If you are trying to explain to the front dest the issued during the checking in, they refuse even to read the conditions that booking.com confirmed. Marriott managers force you to accept what they want or send you to the street without any refund.

    I would have given this 5 stars if the bed was firmer and shower spray was stronger. The bed was bit too soft and the shower spray was a bit weak which did not provide much coverage. With that, I would still consider staying at this property again in the future. Maybe, the soft bed and weak shower head was a one off.

    We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. Everyone was polite and helpful. It's a great, comfortbsle location in FiDi. Close access to the subway and just a short ride to other areas. We visited Williamsburg, Midtown, Times Square, Broadway, Chinatown, Little Italy, all on one weekend with the subway. I'd definitely stay here again! 10/10 experience

(A kind woman in the basement lent me some of hers.) Several machines were out of order, including two that would eat coins without providing credit. We did manage to eventually wash our clothes, but it was not simple.

    All of the above, room smelled like someone had been smoking marijuana, the room had dust and debris like it hasn’t been vacuumed for a long time, hallways were also filled with debris, overall not Marriott standards. The front desk gentleman was also not welcoming or had any customer service training. Definitely a bad experience and I would not stay there again.

    Perfect room, comfy bed. I was bracing for a poor experience with the elevators after reading other reviews, but those comments are unfair. The elevators are fast but sometimes they will stop at lots of floors. A third one would help but it’s not that bad. The longest wait we had in over a week was under 10 min. The breakfast is fine. Not the highest quality, but perfectly adequate although the plastic cutlery and paper plates would be unusual anywhere in Europe. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

    Property was wonderful as I expected with all Marriotts that I stayed at. The quality is always top of the line. I had an issue with my air condition, wasn't cooling. I called 8 PM and maintenance came right away switched out that unit, replaced it with a new one in less than an hour. No inconvenience at all. I give them five star for being wonderful, always

    Hiram was in a great spot. Staff was super nice. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning in the rooms were subpar and was non existent in the hallways etc. very hot. the elevator was very slow.     Overall an ok stay. But paid extra for having a kitchen, but found not a single pot nor pan, no water cooker, no working coffee machine, no table to eat on. So a completely useless kitchen. Had a reservation for 4 but only got three sets of towels, three spoons, mugs, plates, etc. Did not get a fourth even after asking for it.

    I would definitely stay here again. Only this I thought was outrageous was the incidental fee of $250. The elevators were a little scary as well as one of them wasn't working properly.     The smell outside the hotel was horrible Internet slow , u have the choise to pay extra if you want faster internet. Elevator was horrible, it would take up to 30 min wait to get the elevator Breakfast with paper plates and plastic utensils not ideal, I got a room w kitchen but a fridge and 3 plates is not kitchen , i checked this bc the next time i wanted to visit to be able to cook something quick instead of eating outside all the time.     The Residence Inn is an older hotel but the staff are outstanding. All basic needs are provided. Continental breakfast is adequate at best. I was hoping for a good NY bagel, the bagels were fair.     Ideal location if you want to be directly in the centre of the Financial district. Fairly quiet area too. Helpful having a microwave and sink in the room.     Pros: room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety, showers were nice and warm, service came up right away with new sheets after our kids spilled water all over their bed. Cons: only had 3 towels/wash clothes in bathroom (family of 4), I did receive one bath towel with a good amount of foundation on it from previous person (I did not get an opportunity to say anything about it) as it was too late when I noticed it. I’m sure they would have apologized and provided a new one, our curtains/blinds did not work properly, they were more than willing to have their maintenance guy come up but we figured we’d be out and about most of the time anyhow and didn’t want to worry about it. The breakfast silverware is prepackaged and very flimsy, it made it difficult to cut the pancakes and waffles. Our family would definitely stay again. I feel like if you had any issues they would be more than happy to help or fix the situation.

    Second time staying at this hotel after a successful experience the first time. Had the same experience experience again. If anything needs fixed they’re very diligent about getting things fixed and tending to any needs of a guest

    We loved our stay here. We spend five nights on 37th floor with an amazing view of the pier and of the Brooklyn Bridge. Highly recommend staying here your next visit to New York.

    Recommended full service hotel that is centrally located and has good amenities. It is a high-rise building so the elevators do take a significant amount of time during peak periods.

    The noise from fridge in the room was a disaster and kept waking me up. They use the same elevator for the trash and house keeping and the elevator is always busy and takes forever to come up and down. Lastly theres a kitchen but no kettle , no toaster and no oven or stove top... So what is the point of the kitchen ???? Stay away !!!!

    I enjoyed staying in the FiDi area of NYC. Lots of construction in the area but close to many of the areas we wanted to explore. It’s quiet in the evenings which was good—and felt safe. I would stay in this area and the hotel again.

    Had a great experience staying here! Very clean and I felt safe. Breakfast was good too. The elevator situation is annoying but it wasn’t *that* bad. When it wasn’t peak times (mornings/breakfast) I never waited too long for one. Just plan ahead! Good value hotel
