I really missed not having a refrigerator in the unit but the hotel is conveniently located to so many restaurants. You get a discount at nearby restaurants as a guest of the hotel

Toilet in the shower was a different experience to say the least, but overall a great experience staying at the pod BK

Location is amazing, with great amenities around, really good transport links into Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn and so close to the ocean. The room was very small, which was fine and I expected. However, three things were worse than I expected. Firstly, the shower/toilet situation. The shower is basically above the toilet and when you shower it wets the whole room. The hot water is also not super reliable and takes a really long time to heat up. Secondly, the room was not clean properly. Lots of dust and dirt around the bed and corners. I put my bag on the floor briefly and when I picked it up it had so much old dust on it, it was really not great. Thirdly, there is no window so it feels stuffy/ you can't ventilate the room, which becomes claustrophobic.

Best location! Incredible staff. Amazing rooftop patio which I had all to myself most of the time. Steps from everything you want to do. Right near all the perfect train stops. The rooms are small but who cares, you aren’t in NY to sleep! 10/10

Good hotel, great staff, good vibe, and a good restaurant on-site. The only con was the VERY small rooms. But, no biggie - great for a one-night stay when traveling solo.

Quality of mattress, pillow and high thread count linen. The restaurant. I don’t like that they serve only kosher meat which I consider inhumane although I am a committed carnivore. This removes most of the menu for me. The few vegetarian dishes I tried were very poor and the available wines by the glass were few in number and not to my taste.

Amazing location in the middle of all the fun in Brooklyn. Right next to loads of great restaurants, bars and shops. We had a courtyard room so was very quiet. Cool, communal areas including roof terrace so plenty of space to chill out or meet friends. The rooms are compact and with some clever touches to maximise space. Just a bit more storage would have been useful. Pull out drawers under the beds or something?

It's a good compromise if you don't want to be ripped off in Brooklyn. You're getting a small room, but perfectly designed to serve you properly. Bedding is amazing. Position is 100% perfect in Williamsburg. Staff was great and the cafe in the ground floor is fantastic. Wifi was a bit shaky.

Everything is wet post shower and I ended using my towel to dry the toilet to use it and put a towel on the floor for my feet to not get wet again Overall ended up being quite expensive (I guess something was going on that weekend, availability was limited and prices were high for some of the nights

The POD was very clean and excellent customer service. POD was priced lower than the other hotels. Our first visit to Brooklyn and we would stay there next time.

It was spacious and very well located The water from shower was leaking to the main space and needed to wipe the toilet each time before using it if I had a shower before.

The staff is so lovely and helpful here and the space to work or relax outside of the room is really great.

I loved the location of this hotel, It was a few doors down from the grocery store, bars and restaurants. The staff was very nice and polite. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would do different is book a room that has the shower that is not in with the toliet.

The staff were warm and welcoming, very helpful. The location is good, very young, cool district. There is plenty to do in the area and Manhattan is very accessible. The hotel is a short walk from the L train station of Bedford Avenue. There is a lovely roof terrace and a cafe with table service on the ground floor. The room is fine for the cost. The room was smaller and less comfortable than other pod hotels I've stayed in. You're staying here just for the location. Everything else was great.

What did I like: almost everything. I'm a long time Marriott guy, so I looked at every detail: from location, parking, attached restaurant down to the shower controls, hairdryer, blackout shades, towel layout, etc. All were beyond my expectations, I'm now looking first at Pod when in NYC There was no grey makeup removal washcloth.

Overall, it was great for the location. The room is small so only recommend if you’re traveling solo. The toilet in the shower is pretty crazy so luckily I didn’t have to take one (but I guess I would have it work!).

Clean room great staff no issues. I don’t think there’s coffee anymore(?), but you are surrounded by excellent coffee right outside. Ideal location for trains and restaurants/shopping. We have had success finding street parking, even if we need to circle

Location is super good. There were an “ant” issue with the room we had, even though it is cleaned daily. They need to facilitate an inspect program. It was quite uncomfortable to face with ants everywhere in the room. We mentioned to the desk but, no solution found

Second stay at the POD, and like before, it was exceptionally clean and quiet, with a fantastic location. While the rooms are small, there are plenty of open spaces (especially outside) for lounging and relaxing. I wish the pillow were a bit softer (I usually sleep with a down pillow and this was a lumpier fabric one).

The room had a really weird, kind of toxic smell to it. I'm not sure if they just had an exterminator in, or if they regularly spray chemicals to disinfect the room or something, but I do not think it was healthy for me to be breathing in whatever was lingering in that room. It made me quite nauseous and made it difficult to be in the space. The window was also cut in two by a big slat of wall, so there was a weird barred window quality, with a sliver of window at the top and bottom, but most of the window replaced by wall. It is one of the cheapest accommodation options, but still quite expensive for what you get. If you can afford it, I'd pay a bit more for somewhere else.

Restrooms at the lobby is not clean, full of toilet paper on the floor. A box of kleenex would be nice for the bedroom.

I liked the convenience of eating places and grocery stores near my Pod hotel I wish they had a coffee maker and small microwave in the room.

The location was terrific, the staff member when we arrived was friendly and helpful and again the following morning. I would have loved to have known that there are pod plus / rooms with more space since I was traveling with my partner and the pod is too small for more than one person. Other than the warm and helpful gentlemen that was on duty when we arrived and again the following morning, staff were on the cool side. Making eye contact with guests or greeting them when they are approaching the desk, would add a nice touch. Overall, I really like the idea and execution of your efficient accommodations that make it affordable to stay in the wonderful location in Williamsburg.

Quiet room, nice design, thermostat control, windows that open, good mattress, versatile lifting & daylight. Interesting spots to hang out in around the hotel. We also appreciated the discounts at surrounding restaurants. The shower controls are complicated and while the instructions for use are very helpful, it is not clear how to turn the shower completely off. As a result we had a fair amount of dripping on the person using the loo!

My room was clean. The hotel has generally been quiet. I’ve stayed here many times. There used to be a door attendant during prior stays. I saw an attendant one of the four nights I stayed there this time.

Perfect for a quick trip for a concert. Since we only were expecting to stay a few nights and only had one bag it was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

The Pod was conveniently located, with The Landwher cafe on premise. It was very clean and the staff responded immediately when the toilet wouldn’t flush.The rooms are, well, PODS so small and functional. The landscaping on the roof and grounds is lovely!

My sheets were heavily stained and there was the same dark hair in the bed. The rooms were just extremely dirty, which is unacceptable and very unhealthy. Please do better.

Nice air control. Cool space.. you have to know that it is unique and small, but it is functional for two (especially a dad with his 6 year old). Amazing location, super close to everything WB and the L train.

The place was good overall.

So I ended up extending my day I could stay here closer two weeks and the staff here has is very attentive in as quick service and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. If you are noise sensitive as I am ask for inside garden facing away from streets. Also the blinds don’t give proper blackout and they ended up fixing that when I was there. Only minus is Wi-Fi unreliable and slow. Everything else was great.

This is a clean and efficient hotel for quick or long term stays. I only stayed quickly for a local event nearby so I didn't use any of the extra amenities.

The Pod Hotel in Brooklyn is so cute and cozy! The rooms are obviously small so don’t expect anything luxurious in terms of space. My partner and I got a queen pod and it was a little tight but overall very cozy. If you have a lot of luggage definitely consider other hotels. The AC worked well, the bathroom was great, the sink is a little small but that’s to be expected. The bathrooms have frosted glass so someone in the bed can see you while you’re on the toilet which isn’t great. The area nearby is amazing!! So many cute shops and amazing food nearby like Birria Landia! It’s close to the subway so you can easily travel to and from manhattan.

This property is exceptional for a number of reasons. It’s new, clean, expertly run, the location cannot be beat (Williamsburg is probably one of the hippest neighborhoods in New York) and the value is outstanding. The “pod” style rooms is exactly what works for New York since you don’t come to visit here to stay in your room. Plus the rooms are so efficiently designed you feel zen!

Its a great location between Driggs and Bedford. Plenty to do and lots of eateries near by. The restaurant at the abse of the hotel was partularly good for breakfasts.

The whole building and staff were very nice! I keep staying here because of the hospitality and the locality it has to offer out of the city. Didn’t have any problems with our pod we were given or anything with the amenities.

Stayed one night and the staff were amazing and friendly! They spontaneously offered to help arrange a ride to my next destination at check out. Amazing service, clean room perfect for my needs. Will stay again!! PS for anyone who needs a meal, Fish Cheeks, a contemporary Thai restaurant, is right across the street and took us as a walk in. The food was incredible!!

Well, for the location, this was a good property. I wish I knew more if there were amenities for guests, but I just felt like we didn't get all the information about our stay. If you're into toilets in the shower, then you'll be fine, maybe weirded out at first. Bed was comfortable and the room was perfect for what was needed.

The hotel is very cool and boasts great interior finishes and fittings. There are lots of very well maintained and kept shared spaces, break out rooms and rooftops in the hotel. Also its room sizes are based on shipping containers (but they are not!) and the pods were constructed off site, then shipped to Brooklyn.

The staff was amazing and I felt very safe. It's a small room but I knew that before arrival. My only issue is that it could have been cleaner. There was so much dust and hair on the tray in the shower. Also the frame part around the bed could use a good vacuum. I cleaned all of it myself and I shouldn't have had to! The location is perfect!!

There was a club two stories under us that shook the entire building until after 1:30 am. The staff were not able to make any accommodations for us.

Room was fairly clean. I think the way the room is designed it makes it hard for the housekeeping to reach the other side of the bed , but overall was a great stay

The heat in the room and common areas was excellent despite cold temps outside. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and has a calm vibe. Outside street noise is minimal except dumpster pickup in the early hours. I recommend requesting a room that doesn’t face the street.

The room was great. We loved our stay, only thing is that I was not able to pay the $ 91 deposit / insurance per PayPal, Apple Pay or cash. My debit card didn't work so I had to ask for a link that my friend could pay with her credit card. I just heard today that this amount was charged? Other than that great location to everywhere

The rooms are simple and quite small, but it was everything I needed for my 4 day stay. Would definitely book with them again.

Rooms are clean but small not more than any one or two people would need, very minimalist, staff was nice. Only minor complaint would be rooms got humid when showering because the vent didn’t seem to work well or at all. Quick fix was just opening a window or two while or after showering. Overall a great experience, would recommend!

Clean room. Amazing location within a 5 minute walk to the L train. Whole Foods 3 minutes away. The best pizza in NYC is 3/10 of a mile away (L’Industrie).

Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, & I loved it. What more do you need? The room lent itself to a very resourceful way to furnish a room ... clever, clean, bright, dark, & comfortable. The only amenity for food, snacks, & liquids was filtered water and morning coffee. However there was a convenience store next door. This was my second time staying at a POD in New York. I would definitely stay again. POD Brooklyn is in a nice neighborhood, 3 blocks to Subway, one block to drug store, 2 blocks to Whole Foods, & surrounded by very decent restaurants.

Great hotel in the heart of Williamsburg. Hotel is so super clean and a great lounge area for work. It’s near the L station that goes right into Manhattan. Tons of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel!

Yes, Pod Brooklyn room is okay and all necessary stuff and location is good. Coffer bar hours can extend a little longer.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny. The shower is above the toilet. I’m glad I didn’t have to shower. But overall it was affordable and the roof was cute although not open. Wouldn’t stay again if there was an equally affordable option

Small and cozy. The perfect stay for a solo trip. Everything in the 2 twin bunkbed rooms is perfectly placed. And the toilet is in the shower! I loved it.

I enjoyed my stay at the Pod Hotel Brooklyn. I was mostly out during the day and only came back to sleep, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure fantastic and the welcome very friendly. I liked the neighbourhood too.

Very little detail to cleaning. Dust throughout, shower/toilet room showed black dirt on the towel when it fell on the floor. Inside of shower door handle had remnants of grease and dirt buildup. Floors were not particularly clean in the whole room.

Room was clean. I was facing a courtyard which was quiet. A new restaurant was opening at the property and was not yet open during my stay. Free coffee in the lobby 7-11am (Keurig)

We really appreciated the staff’s response when we requested a new room due to street noise. They found us a room and even moved our belongings while we were out for the day.

It was cozy and comfy.. but a little bit of outside noise in the middle of the night..

I wasn’t expecting the shower to be in the same space as the toilet, which meant the toilet seat got wet after showering. The bathroom also lacked privacy, so if you’re traveling with someone else, keep that in mind. The overall design of the hotel and hallways was nice, but the room itself had an industrial look that felt more cheap than stylish. On the positive side, the bed was clean, but the TV only had one channel. Overall, I don’t think the stay was worth the money.

Room was not too small and was an accessible room. These deluxe rooms are bigger than the others and have roomy bathrooms. The rooftop deck is large and very pleasant for hanging out especially in the evening. I would have liked a mini fridge in the room.

The rooms are unusually small and compact but I had stayed here before so it was no surprise. Very low key, quiet and very clean. POD Brooklyn is in a super location.. easy to walk to many things.

I appreciated the air conditioning, channel options, clean room, and fast WiFi.

Nice clean room, very small but don't be afraid of the shower and toilet sharing the same space, you get use to it quickly. The area is highly gentrified and feels like early 2010's with tattoos, hipster, and cafe's as far as your eyes can see. The subway station is a 2-3 block/minute walk a way. We're a 50 year old couple and will stay there next time we are in Williamsburg.

First night, air conditioner made a loud noise that prevented me from sleeping. Called the front desk and they wanted to send a mechanic to my room at 1am, which was not suitable since i was on sleeping meds. They offered to mave me to another room aga

Clean and updated. That been said, pods are minimalistic to say the least. Price is disproportional to what is offered.

For where we needed to be in Brooklyn this was an excellent location - very walkable and with lots of shops and restaurants. The space/room is as billed - very condensed, think cruise ship. We have no problems whatsoever with small rooms, especially in city hotels. But we did feel a bit unprepared for the toilet that was a tiny nook and was actually the shower as well. Not so fun to step into a wet space in the middle of the night. However the real complaint was just the run down and not very clean details of the room and hallways.

The bed sheets had stains. On the picture I booked double beds and when I got there they told me only 1 Queen bed. I should’ve screenshot the picture I saw when I booked because it’s false advertisement.

The room was compact and yet very comfortable, best hotel mattress in a very long time! AC was great as there was a heat wave, shower had HOT water and great pressure.

The location is great. Service was incredible, all the staff was really kind. Just a minor point would be that the housekeeping service was not complete all times. One day they just made the bed. Besides that, great option just consider rooms are small but now a huge problem if you only want it to sleep. Highly recommended to make use of bikes provided by hotel

Beds were hard as a rock with no support! And oh the toilet is in the shower. Parking was awful, every time we wanted to leave the garage and come back we had to pay a fee and it ended up being $100 for two nights! The area around the hotel was nice, cute wine bars and such.

The toilet and shower are combined into one space. So, you must dry off the toilet after each shower. The floor also remained wet throughout the night which meant I had to hoist my pajama bottoms up so they didn’t get wet and dry my feet each time I used the bathroom throughout the night!! They should also provide some type of “drop down” shelves to place your suitcases on. The location is wonderful and we slept soundly! Plenty of common space for guests.

I've stayed here multiple times. It's a great hotel in a wonderful area. The rooms are clean and there's lot to see and do in the area as well as being very convenient in getting to Manhattan. Highly recommended.

A real gem for the price. The room was small and basic but we had everything we needed for our one-night stay. The way they introduced green space into the pod layout made the place seem more open than it is. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family in Brooklyn.

The best feature of this hotel is the location–prime Williamsburg near every hip shop and restaurant you can think of. The hotel is lacking, more hostel style with private rooms, probably for the younger set. While I knew the toilet was contained inside the shower area, I did not expect to be touching the toilet as I showered and attempted to clean myself. The towels and sheets are pretty shabby and I found hair that was not mine in multiple towels. Decent overall but I would not personally stay again.

Pleasantly surprised with my stay! Small room but it served its purpose. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I felt safe with the overnight security at the entrance as well. The only odd part that I didn’t really like was the toilet is in the shower but other than that the stay was great! Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again

It’s a pretty neat concept, I like the idea, but the room smelt like a hospital bathroom and the smell was over powering! It was really hard to deal with! Also the toilet is in the shower and if you use the shower it will continuously drip water on you while using the bathroom, good concept but overall kind of sucks depending on what you have going on

We really liked the neighborhood and the hotel itself. Very nice roof top, lots of great shops, restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket right next door. The rooms are small which is not surprising for a pod hotel, but very clean and quiet. The hotel itself is quite new which I liked as well.

All good until you get the room key- it’s so small 100 sqft. Toilet and shower on the same space 3x4 ft (Shoebox) no where to move. No where to seat. Tv you need to watch while laying in bed . Queen bed block the room. I made reservations for 3days moved out next morning to a different hotel. The price DO NOT JUSTIFY THHR ROOM.

Well-located, easy transit everywhere

A huge shoutout to Adrian at check-in, such a pleasure to interact with. I mentioned I was in town for training and needed a quiet place to study, and he went above and beyond to set me up somewhere peaceful. It paid off, I passed my training with flying colors! The hotel’s aesthetic is gorgeous: colorful, vibrant, and undeniably Brooklyn, complete with Biggie Smalls art. They even have a reusable umbrella station you can access with your keycard, which is such a thoughtful touch! My room was spotless. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom sparkled. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, extra toilet paper, and plenty of towels were all provided. I’ll definitely be coming back, next time I plan to really take advantage of their beautiful common areas and dive into everything the neighborhood has to offer. Highly recommend!

Parking around here was a little tricky, but do-able. Just pay attention to the signs. I only gave 4 stars on property because part or the roof top patio was roped off. Otherwise everything was top notch.

The price I was originally charged for the room was not honored and I was charged $150 more in checkout?!

Toilet is in the shower, surprised this is allowed. Called before arrival and asked receptionist if my partner could check in (booked for two people) and they refused since it was booked on hotels.com. Reception also didn’t mention about the rooftop or any amenities when I checked in - strange since it was quite nice although half was closed without any explanation. Stayed in many hostels nicer than this.

Look, it's small - it says it right in the name. Don't go in expecting a penthouse suite, and you're going to be fine. Walkable neighborhood, lots of food options nearby, close to the subway. My only real complaint is that you shower over your toilet, but as long as you're traveling solo (or with a very close companion who you don't mind sharing EVERYTHING with), this is a great option.

Everything was great except they had the rooftop spaces closed on perhaps the best weather weekend of the summer.

I've stayed there several times and no issues. Clean rooms just a tight room for the price other than that its all good. When I visit that's where I'll stay.

The property confirms validation of parking but had to pay parking fees of $28 for parking even though the parking ticket was validated. Not a fair disclosure.

Nothing was good. Roof top wasn't operating. No where to really sit. Room was soooo tiny they had to put toilet inside of alreasy tiny shower space. Who does that? Just disgusting.

I did not like the toilet in the shower concept. The staff were great-- especially Adrian *. Surroundings - clean and lively with the gardens, rooftop... many restaurants in the area and some give discount when you mention the hotel; we just forgot to tell them (so the affiliated restaurants should train wait staff to ask customers).

I love it here. The rooms have everything you need and are small but very cozy. Only thing that is hard to adjust to is the toilet inside the shower stall. After a shower, if you need to use the toilet- it is soaking wet and you need to wear shoes
