Staff here was top notch! I've never encountered a staff who universally came across as being so enthusiastic about providing quality service. Also appreciated the drink token we received upon arrival. Be advised there is no mini fridge in the room. There is also direct access to an ice machine but the staff immediately offered to bring a bucket of ice when we made the inquiry about a machine. We were staying there while the 2nd Knicks game was and could hear the bar that's on the first floor from our 6th floor room. It got quiet once the game ended so I can't say that you hear normal noise from the bar. Beds were comfy and shower/water pressure was good too.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, the lobby was nice and always had cold water available. Our room was super quiet and clean.

The hotel is old but I guess that's NYC. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It's in midtown so if you are looking to do things at NYU Langone, it's walking distance. If you're looking to do things in Manhattan, a bit too far. Again, staff are the best.

Location is great and staff are amazing always giving us bottles of water etc and there was a happy hour one day which was lovely as well as two free tokens for the bar Room was pretty small for a queen sized room And the gym was tiny! Looked so different to pictures which was a shame

NYC is expensive so 500 a night is the going rate for a decent hotel. We chose this place because its was close to our daughter’s apartment. Again not bad and 20 minutes walking distance to Penn station. Room is a bit small but well decorated and very clean.

Chuck front of house went above and beyond for me and my family. The room was very clean and to our surprise, we were immediately greeted with staff to help bring in our bags when we got off our Uber. The staff was so kind, provided us tokens for free drinks between 5:30-7pm, and gave us recommendations for food. Barbara was wonderful!!! We can’t wait to come back!

John, my barbados sister, and also my friend who lived in Staten Island, who was so happy when I got the chance to experience snow for the first time (ps can't remember their names) also had an issue with the heater in the room, called the front desk and within minutes they sent a portable one with a technician while they tried fixing the problem with the main heater in the room (wasn't getting enough hot air) It was so convenient to move around because the subway was literally 2 mins away..lots of fast food places nearby with great choices to choose from.. A reliable laundry place less than 5 mins away.. Definitely will be coming back!!!

Overall it was ok. But one of the staff members at the desk (curly female) was rude and sarcastic, the room was very small, and the view out the window was to an HVAC system and a wall. For the price, I’d have appreciated knowing about this in advance.

The beds were comfortable The air in the room was so dry and it was so hot it kept me up all night. It made my skin itch and my nose bleed. Also the pillows smelled like sweat. It was a very uncomfortable night and all I did was toss and turn. Also, the room was tiny. Not worth it for the price.

A lovely and quiet little hotel, with a great location right off Park Ave and steps from the subway. Enjoyed Park Ave (closed to cars Sat) and Madison Square Park nearby. Nice rooftop bar. Crisp, clean room that was surprisingly spacious for NYC. Cute sitting areas downstairs. Lots of nice extras like a complimentary wine at the rooftop and our room was ready early. Friendly staff. Incredible coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in area. Exceeded expectations! The bathroom is a little small, but fine for NYC standards IMO. A mini fridge would be nice, but we weren't there long enough to need it.

The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable! The staff is also very kind and helpful. Also the valet parking service rate is higher than what is listed on the website. It is 100 plus taxes and fees.

The hotel is next to the Flatiron District, with a subway station right on the corner (line 6). The staff is extremely friendly. To my surprise, since we arrived in Manhattan very early, they checked us into our room well in advance, allowing us to optimize our day's activities. It was small but spotless. At midnight, I noticed that the curtain on the only window didn't shut completely, and they fixed it right away. We were offered free bottles of water every day at the reception. The rooftop bar, advertised as open seasonally from April to October, wasn't available during our stay (May). I must point out the quality of the towels, which were very worn and used. I should also add that a somewhat confusing $30 daily destination fee must be paid at the end of your stay. Overall, I think this hotel is overpriced for what it is, but the stay was very pleasant.

This is our favorite hotel in NYC. We have stayed here three times. The locations is fabulous, within walking distance to the East Village as well as Mid-Town. The Lexington 6 subway line is only a block away. There are numerous Indian restaurants within a block or two. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

All was fine with the hotel as far as walk ability and proximity to a lot of areas in the city. Really not a lot of frills: lobby is low key, no restaurant on site, though they will have complimentary coffee in the morning & wine in the afternoon. My only real beef was I forgot my AirPods about 30 minutes after I checked out & I called the front desk & let them know bc I was pretty sure that no one was cleaning the room at that time & they not only didn’t go get them, but referred me to a website ILeftMyStuff.com to do a virtual lost & found. Kind of frustrating. But hotel was decent.

We always enjoy staying at this small, pleasant hotel. The facilities and rooms are good, but what really stands out is the very helpful and professional staff.

In nyc for a wedding with my wife. Wanted a clean and relatively new place for the weekend. This was small but very nice.

This is one of the largest rooms I’ve stayed in for a boutique hotel in Manhattan.

The AC is extremely noisy when it comes on in the auto mode. The bed was uncomfortable and the elevator was noisy.

The hotel is modern and neat. It is very safe, the staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. In my opinion the lobby is dark and not very attractive. But the rest of the hotel is comfortable.

Hotel service and comfort were both exceptional, however all restaurants within the property were closed for the duration of my stay, meaning breakfast wasn’t even served. The hotel should have disclosed this ahead of final booking confirmation. There were also cockroaches in my room, which I had to spend extra time dealing with.

Very Friendly Staff

Overall it was a good stay for an extended girls weekend trip to NYC. The front desk staff and doorman are very helpful and polite. When we saw our room, it was very clean and organized. The room service also did an exceptional job keeping our rooms tidy and giving us clean towels. The location was perfect since it was near subways and was within walking distance to many other places without being in very congested areas of NY. Would highly recommend

The staff at this hotel are the nicest, friendliest, happiest group of employees I’ve ever had the delight to interact with at a hotel in NYC. From the front desk staff to the bartenders and hosts in the restaurant to the two gentlemen who served his porters and doormen – each and every one of them was warm, enthusiastic, outgoing, and genuine. On top of the great location and the comfortable and clean environment, I will absolutely stay here again.

My overall stay at park south was okay. The staff was great and willing to help out wherever they could - offering dining suggestions and reasonable accommodations. Shout out Francesca, Yaya, Pedro & Justin. That said, the property/rooms and parking could have been better. Parking at this hotel does not include in-and-out privileges, meaning you pay the valet parking fee each time your car is parked. Parking is $67 for sedans, $77 for SUV’s - not cheap. There seemed to be a number of guests that had issues with the furnace units in the rooms, including one of the rooms in our reservation. They were not working and only blew out cold air. The temperature was in the teens & twenties during our stay, so not having heat wasn’t an option. Otherwise, everything was lodging as normal in a hotel in NYC.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk gave great advice on transportation and the door man arranged a private car service to the airport. Area was walkable with lots of dining option including an amazing Bagels and Schmear two doors door. Roof top bar (seasonal) was wonderful. Room was clean and spacious (for NYC). Subway for 4,5,6 train was 100 yards from front door. Would definitely stay here again

We arrived late in the evening. It was a strange check in as the person at the desk thought we were another guest and promised up an upgrade with a great room. Then learned who I was and seemed to have lots of standard rooms available. I’d try a different hotel nearby next time for the price of the room. It was very small.
