Very nice hotel but the staff were providing misleading information about the room. And were not very accommodating when it came to switching rooms. The room and the king bed feel a lot smaller than described. Not worth the $1000 /night price. Pool was fancy but water was very cold

I have stayed in over 25 different luxury hotels in Manhattan and this is by FAR the WORST value for money you will ever find. Try better M.O., 4 Seasons or Ritz Carlton. Trust me, I know them all and this was my first (and last) time at the Hyatt

It’s beautiful. That roof terrace doesn’t exist though. It’s just really expensive. I’ve been to many hotels of the same quality and they aren’t 1200 USD a night.

I always enjoy my stay at the park Hyatt the people that work there are so kind so accommodating there is valet parking which I love the guys out. Front are always so helpful and nice. It's walking distance from so many great restaurants and shopping. The indoor pool is so perfect for the winter months when your children wanna go for a swim, but it's too cold. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We will definitely be going back.

We came to NYC for 2 nights to go to a Yankees game. We arrived very late the first night and the staff was very kind and helpful getting us to our room quickly. The suite was beautiful and elegant amenities. My boys got a kick out of the Boudet as did I the warmer on the toilet seat;) Bed was very plush. I usually do not sleep well in hotels because of the pillows and mattress but slept soundly each night. My husband loved the large two headed shower. Breakfast was delightful in the restaurant. The location to central Park was convenient and when we returned from a tour we were greeted with waters at the door. The only negative was the cost of breakfast. We purchased 3 breakfast plates and beverages and the bill was $225. I expected a higher cost but not that high.

NOTE: though they list that the room sleeps 4 , it doesn’t without rollaways. But the rooms are so big that the rollaways fit no problem. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet-never heard neighbors above, below, or to the sides. Usual NYC noise on the street at all hours but not bad with a white noise machine. Ask for a higher floor if you want to be as quiet as possible. Nespresso machine in room was a nice way to start the day. Pool was a great kid perk. Hotel was convenient to subway and other walking destinations.

I rarely take the time to leave a review but for the Park Hyatt NYC, I will. In the span of almost 15-20 years visiting NYC, I have stayed in many luxury hotels and only thought I found great places. On a whim, I told my husband in February that I wanted to stay at the Park Hyatt because I had considered throwing an anniversary event at this property. Needless to say, we were blown away by this professional yet courteous establishment. They offer assistance with kindness without the pretentious air. Kudos to the property and the staff for achieving that. As Expedia Platinum members, we were upgraded both times to a beautiful room with gorgeous modern decor and city views. We just loved our stay! So when we came back for a work lecture I had this last month, I, of course, stayed at the Park Hyatt NYC again. We will likely always choose this hotel in moving forward. Great location and in walking distance of some of the best restaurants and Central Park. Very walkable to Broadway without all the noise of Times Square. Highly recommend! Thank you, Park Hyatt for giving us a whole new experience of NYC from a frequently visiting couple!

Park Hyatt NYC has quickly moved up as our favorite hotel near Central Park and we will definitely choose to stay here in the future! When we got to the hotel, we not only received an early check in but got the choice to upgrade for $50 a night to a much larger room with a great city view! Staff were kind, accommodating, and the rooms are beautifully appointed with a modern, chic feel. We were here to watch a comedy show at Radio City Music Hall and it was a quick 5-7 minute walk there. Thank you, Park Hyatt NYC, for a memorable short three day stay! We will be back to visit!

the hotel location is strategic This hotel and this facility are overrated. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly and professional and the organization was terrible. the room was standard, low quality, and with a courtyard view. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have had in a Park Hyatt hotel so far. For this price, you can choose better options in New York.

This was our first stay at the Hyatt. It was comfortable and well appointed. The neighborhood is excellent. Good value for the area. Will return

The pictures dont do the rooms justice, its gorgeous. It has a full refrigerator & 2 closets. The bathroom has heated floors & the curtains/sheers are electric, controlled by a light switch. I wasnt expecting it to as nice as it was. If youre sensitive to city sounds I would ask for a room away from the street b/c it can get loud.

Great location near Central Park and an easy walk to Times Square and other attractions as well. Rooms are very quiet both from other guests and the outside world. The hotel has an excellent, huge (60') pool with swimming lanes, a large, very well-equipped gym, and spa. Our room (a Studio Suite, King bed) was spotless with a great bathroom (heated floors in front of sink and in W/C). Everything was perfect for our 3 night stay - I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was pristine and very stylishly updated with marble and steel decorative accents. There was artwork from MOMA decorating the hallways. The staff was very well-trained and pleasant. A woman concierge got us a reservation at a nearby Italian restaurant the first night - lots of people waiting - we walked right in. The doorman, Jim, was a great help. We plan a repeat stay. Our room was very comfortable with automatic curtains and lighting and a well-stocked and beautiful piece of furniture minibar. The room service was also excellent and there were movies to be had on the TV.

Room wasn’t what was described or in the pictures - paid extra for view of the park but got back of buildings opposite side of the park. Walls were paper thin - could head the loud cleaning service slamming doors every morning. Definitely not worth the money I paid, good location and the hotel is clean and modern minus the room they put me in, but not my top choice. Money better spent at Ritz or Langham (where I have stayed).

Great location. Really nice rooms. We were disappointed that pool was closed the one week we were there - which wasn’t clear when we booked.

We are a family that values the level of hospitality we are met with and Park Hyatt NY exceeded our expectations. Our favourite part of this hotel experience was the service provided by each and every employee we met. A young, energetic team of people who clearly enjoy making their guests feel comfortable. Thank you Park Hyatt, for always attending to us with care and detail.

We were upgraded from junior suite to full suite. Beautiful room with all the comforts you can think of. Great service, delicious food in dining room, especially the green olives🙂. Didn't want to leave. Would definitely book this hotel again.

This hotel is sleek, modern, and luxurious. Our suite was very spacious. It is just off the subway station, and directly across from Carnegie Hall. The lap pool was warm and just the perfect length. My only suggestion would be a self serve coffee station in the lobby. The coffee was complimentary, but had to be presented to us on a silver tray by a waitress, which was very elegant. but took a few minutes.

Hotel was overbooked so I got an upgrade to a suite but it did not have separate beds as originally booked so comfort was compromised had to sleep on the couch which was not so comfortable.

Ive been to NYC plenty of times but have never stayed in the Midtown area due to thinking of all the congestion but this hotel was in the perfect location! It's 2 blocks from central park and then walking distance to most attractions. It is an Oasis after being out on the cold busy streets. I stayed in a Park Studio Double suite with 3 other adults, would have been 4 but due to weather the 4th didn't make it. The room was spacious enough in my opinion for 5-6 adults. It had a spectacular view of 57th street and of Carnegie Hall with its floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is huge and the toilet and shower areas are enclosed so that someone could be in the shower and another person using the sink and vanity while both enjoyed a measure of privacy. The 25th floor was a great getaway as well with the beautiful pool area, the gym with sweeping views of central park and 57th street, and the gym locker room which was clean, perfectly appointed, spacious, and well stocked with pretty much anything you may have forgotten to bring up from your room. I would suggest that you get the bed and breakfast option which includes breakfast for 2 adults. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the Living room where it is served is a great environment to get your day started and meet some of the other guest if you felt so inclined. From what I saw the Living Room area is off limits unless you are buying something. There is a separate smaller lobby area for seating as well.
