Reviews
The hotel is praised for its convenient location near many famous points and subway stations. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, although some reviews mention they were professional but not friendly. The rooms are described as clean, small, and comfortable. However, there are complaints about hidden daily resort fees, lack of a microwave or refrigerator, and small bathrooms.

Great location. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. NYC prices (but that's everywhere because it's Manhattan). Also, the food from the cafe wasn't that good. The restaurant food was good but the muffins, etc. had that "refrigerator taste."

Location is very convenient to Penn Station and a reasonable walk from the Broadway theater district. Breakfast was great and $15 credit was an incentive. Had great conversations with a couple of very friendly staff members while sitting in the lobby. No complaints.

The property was clean and very well kept. One complaint was the back elevators, only one was working. It would’ve been nice if both have been working so that the wait would not have been as long. We were on the 14th floor, so with only one of those elevators working, there was normally a longer wait. The room was very clean. The only complaint we had is that the tub floor was very slick. My suggestion to the motel would be to either put down some type of rubber mat or some type of aggregate to keep the floor of the tub from being so slick. Other than these two minor complaints our stay was very good. The staff was exceptionally nice and willing to help with any questions that we had.

We liked the shower. Liked that it had a magnifying mirror. The sheets and comforter kept us warm. We didn’t like that the hand towels were too short for longer haired females. The pillows were too soft and the bed was too hard .

We didn’t know what to expect but everything was excellent. Checkin was quick and friendly. Our room was bigger than expected (we expected NYC small) and looked like it was renovated in the recent past with decor that was sharp and smart. Bathroom was perfect. Everything was clean. Encountered housekeeping a couple of times and they were professional. Almost zero noise from outside as we were not located on the street side. Elevators were a little slower than the best ones. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious though a little bit pricey. Overall convenience is hard to beat with its central location and subway station right outside. Summing up, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

OK, first of all the staff was amazing from the Bellman all the way to housekeeping so I will not take that away from them. our bathroom smelled like literal urine, and we had to switch rooms after they tried cleaning it three times. Our reservation included breakfast which they told us we didn't have an after going back-and-forth. We decided to just let it go.. other than offer to wave a couple of nights of hotel fees for the inconvenience they really didn't do much. Also, the hotel isn't a very loud area of Manhattan and it's difficult to get sleep. Obviously it's in New York City and we can expect noise, but it was just a little too much because it's right in Harold Square.

Based on my stay I'd say it was more of a 3+ star rather than a 4 star hotel. I decided to stay here thinking the extra cost would be worth it but because I booked a standard room it was as basic small room. There was no refrigerator and they wanted to charge me to put one in the room. We had $15 a day to use at the coffee bar or restaurant below and if you don't use it by 11pm they won't allow you to use it. I arrived at 11:02 to use it and they wouldn't let me use it for a slice of cake. The staff was very nice and helpful overall but in those 2 situations they were not helpful. The location was incredibly convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Koreatown, making it easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, so we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean enough overall. The only small thing I would mention is that the towels seemed a bit old, so I hope the hotel can provide better-quality towels in the future.

I’ve been coming to nyc every month for 30 years. I stay at this hotel all the time and it is generally good. But this trip I had a room on the 7th floor on the exterior side of the building. They night time noise was incredible. Crashing of dumpsters being emptied EVERY night at 4 am. I know the hotel isn’t in control of the city. But buyer beware. Ask for the interior and a high floor

Really enjoyed our stay we came to NY for a wedding and the hotels location was great. The staff was great, everyone from bellboys to cleaning crew so helpful and attentive to any requests we had. We ate at the lobby restaurant many times and had drinks with friends at the bar. Beds are very comfortable.

Good location. Central to restaurants and NYC attractions. Very clean. The hotel seems to be under construction on the outside. Photos are a bit deceiving. Not fair to people who book this hotel.

Great place to stay. The only thing that I didn’t like was getting caught off guard about the 40 dollar nightly fee.
- 4/5
Rooms are large and clean. Cleaning staff do a great job. Front desk is efficient and friendly. However, the Carnegie Restaurant leaves much to be desired. Limited options and terrible wait times for service. I wanted oatmeal, which I used to be able to get at the Martinique, but was advised that was on a different menu not available to everyone else. In other words, they make it, they have it available, but they won't serve if to everyone. That is nonsense! Then, they delivered our coffee when we were just about done with our breakfast. I saw a couple of other tables nearby who also did not get their coffee timely and one table got coffee delivered AFTER they finished their breakfast. This eatery is the worst and that is a shame because the Martinique used to have a great cafe with good food options and an excellent staff. So, forget about onsite eating at the Martinique.

Great location, perfect for a family of four with two young children. The bellman and reception staff were lovely, and when we accidentally left a bag of belongings in the hotel room, they were very quickly able to provide us a cost for shipping it back to us. Nothing - couldn’t fault it!

Fine place to stay in midtown. Nothing crazy

They charge 40 bucks daily resort fee and part of the justification is ‘premium WiFi’. Unfortunately they configured their network to block content downloads on popular streaming services. Their firewall rules messed with YouTube as well. Worst hotel WiFi I’ve experienced since moving out of Eastern Europe. Apart from that, poor service at the espresso counter in the lobby. Otherwise an ok hotel.

The location was within a decent walking distance to Times Square and Bryant Park. It was quiet enough and didn't feel like a chaotic place despite all the crowds/traffic in NYC.

I was there with my children to see Harry Potter and The Cursed Child on Broadway. We had a great time. The hotel was wonderful. Comfortable beds, linen was super soft, perfectly clean, excellent daily service. Loved it.

location is good they gave us a our room at the back end with no views
- 4/5
We love the Martinique. Staff is super friendly the location is very convenient for Broadway shows main reason of our trip. They surprised my daughter with a sweet treat from the candy shop for her birthday which was very kind. My only complaint is that they don’t have wine glasses to provide for the room. Sadly only paper cups. Such a great hotel they could work on that.
- 5/5
The rooms were good, but the coffee was awful
- 3/5
Aggressive security staff, completely unacceptable way to treat a family with young children.
- 3/5
The biggest issue was the front desk service. We rented three rooms and specifically asked for them to be close together or at least on the same floor. We arrived at 3:00 pm because we had an event at 4:00 pm and requested early check-in for at least one room so we could leave our luggage. We were told the rooms were not ready, but that upgraded rooms were available for an additional charge. We agreed to upgrade one room and again asked if the other two rooms could be on the same floor. The staff said yes. However, when we came back later, the three rooms were on completely different floors. When we asked about it, they told us that was all they had and asked if we still wanted the rooms. The lack of assistance and communication from the front desk was very disappointing. We would not be coming back to the Martinique Hotel.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean room a little small but most hotel rooms are NYC.
- 4/5
Nice staff. Good value for the money.
- 5/5
That said, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the noise level was amazing likely because we had zero view, which actually made for a very quiet and peaceful stay. We slept great every night. Overall, everything was fine, but the price doesn’t quite match up with other hotels in the area that offer nicer views, more modern rooms, and amenities like an in-hotel bar. The staff were amazing!

Our room was spotless, clean, smelt nice, and had a really nice view in the junior king suite. Definitely booking again within this week!

This hotel is beautiful! Spotless and the best location (Koreatown/Broadway). I stayed here to go to Broadway and literally walked everywhere. Great coffee shop in the Lobby and Great Diner in the lobby as well. Shockingly quite at night. I am actually booking again for a trip in November. They also gave me food credits and no hidden fees!

I did upgrade my stay as when I arrived only a deluxe king was available. While the rooms are rather small, as are the bathrooms, the hotel is immaculate and comfortable with good linens and furnishings. The hotel is also gorgeous--old world style in the lobby and public areas and several options for food and drink. I found the staff to be really helpful and they even let me leave a night early due to a flight change for weather.

Location, free WiFi, easy access to subway, bellhops I would like to preface by saying I have never left a negative review in my entire life. First, when we initially checked in the room they gave us had other people already in it! Then the hotel restaurant refused me (but not others in the party) service because of my food allergy. Literally even took away my water cup that I had already started drinking. Really goes to show how poorly they clean the kitchen if I am allergic to one ingredient and they can’t even offer me fruit or a drink. Then the bathroom had drain flies. So gross. Will not be staying here again despite the prime location

I’m writing to share my disappointment with my recent stay. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful, several issues made our experience extremely frustrating. There was loud construction directly outside our window, which made it nearly impossible to sleep. After a long flight, we were exhausted and desperately needed rest. This level of noise was extremely disruptive and not something we were warned about in advance. When we contacted the front desk to request extra blankets, the receptionist was not helpful or kind and simply told us there were no blankets available, without offering any alternative or assistance. Additionally, the staff member helping with our luggage seemed visibly bothered when we asked questions about our bags, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We also tried calling the front desk multiple times with no answer. When someone finally did pick up, it sounded as though the phone was answered and immediately hung up, which was very upsetting. We were charged $255 at check-in and refunded only $138. Given the noise, lack of rest, and poor service we experienced, I do not feel this was fair for a stay we genuinely did not enjoy. Again, the property itself and the housekeeping ladies were excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope you will consider offering a complimentary future stay or appropriate compensation to make up for this experience. Thanks, Alicexandra

Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great—close to a lot of things and quiet (as far as street noise was concerned). The reason I can’t rate the hotel higher is because the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. If you’re into that, then this is the hotel for you. For us however, it felt like we were sleeping on a ping pong table and we woke up with a backache every morning. The last day of our stay, I actually considered trying to sleep in the office chair with a pillow since the beds were so bad. The other thing that made it difficult to sleep was the loud heater. Because of those two issues, I can’t rate it higher.

The hotel was under renovation and that was NOT disclosed during the booking. There should have been a discounted rate because there was absolutely no view from our 14th floor room. All the staff were friendly and professional, especially the doormen/bellmen. They were extremely friendly and honestly provided the best customer service. They greeted people as the entered and exited the building. We eat at the restaurant, which food was not prepared correctly, partial order were ice cold and eggs were totally over cooked. There was no discount provided ($15/night) and when I called to inquire about getting the credit placed back on my card, I was placed on long hold and then disconnected.

Junior king suite was great for the 4 of us and was much bigger than expected for a NYC hotel room. The staff were very kind and having breakfast and the daily credit were great perks!!! Location was fantastic. The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars was there was construction going on. Overall would stay here again! And highly recommended for families- the subway is right at the corner and it made getting home from Rockefeller center and Times Sq so much easier!

Loved this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great service, good restaurant for breakfast , lunch and dinner.
- 4/5
We stayed at The Martinique on a recent visit to NYC. The hotel and staff were both warm and inviting. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is that the walls between rooms allow too much noise transfer (could little hear neighbors conversations word for word) and the building was covered in scaffolding blocking any exterior views. Otherwise, our room was clean and spacious and the centralized location was ideal! The metro stop on the corner made getting out around town very convenient. I would definitely recommend to others looking for an affordable option in the city.
- 4/5
Room is clean but dated.

Very long waits for the elevator. Was charged an additional destination fee daily.

Very irritating they said my room was ready when I got there around 2 but told me I had to pay and extra 50$ to go in it before 4 kinda crappy money grab

Room was clean..staff very kind & helpful, but room too small to be called mobility accessible. If I had a wheelchair it would be extremely impossible to navigate. Sorry.

Yes, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly.

Location is in the heart of K-Town and is within a block of several Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurants. Staff at the hotel are excellent! Would definitely stay here again if the price fits the budget!

We did not have breakfast in the hotel. The room was cleaned to a very good standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful
- 2/5
My overall rating of the property itself is good however takea read of some of the bait switches they might present to you. Nowhere when booking with Expedia did they say that they would be putting a $350 hold on your room and then charge it through but eventually you’ll get your money back within three business days even though we checked out yesterday and thecharge came through on the day after. Part two they nickel and dime you for everything when they say they give you a $15 room credit be very careful you have no idea where the room credit is for you can use it towards your oh wait already paid for inclusive breakfast. Why because they do not specify that if you would like a hot breakfast which I miss conceived obviously my fault to assume when they say full breakfast they meant full breakfast no when you pay for the breakfast inclusive it means you get a bagel or a piece of toast with some grapes. Oh and coffee at least that gets you going. If you want the full breakfast you must pay an additional $13 which you can use your room but if there’s two of you in the room only one of you can actually eat a full hot breakfast. The rooms were clean the staff was friendly enough but be very aware at how much money you are dishing out because none of the monies was very much so explained unless you’re an accountant . Overall everything was very confusing from check in to check out as far as your cash flow. I get it New York is expensive but having some full disclosure on arrival

This hotel was amazing from the door men to the front desk staff! They were all so helpful during our 4 day stay. We felt safe. The lobby was always clean as well as our room. Our room was perfect. It was clean, large and comfortable. We asked for extra towels and blankets and got them within minutes of the request. We didn't use the breakfast option as there are several coffee shops around the area. The hotel was in perfect location for either the bus or the subway. I will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice big room, clean, good location. Friendly staff. A bit noisy. We were on the 14th floor and could hear an ice cream truck parked down the block clear as day. Resort fee a bit steep for what you get.

The staff is amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful especially Mario at the front door. We will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Clean, cool rooms. Great staff. Will rebook.
- 5/5
Hotel is really cute aesthetically. It was very convenient to everything. We were able to walk to Times Square, Empire State Building, Hudson Yards, etc. The beds were comfy, the shower was pleasant, we loved the cafe downstairs. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay for our girls trip.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
Clean room, professional and friendly staff, particularly at the front desk
- 5/5
Great place in a great location. Close to everything! Not a fan of their restaurant (not much of a menu and no tvs for sports with not the best service as if they don’t really want you there ) but the over all hotel is great and everyone else there is quite up to the Hilton brand you would hope to expect
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
We were blindsided when we got there by a $40 a night “destination charge”. Please put the full price in the room rate so we know what we are getting.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Lots to do within a block or 2, food, shopping and sightseeing.
- 5/5
The staff is amazing
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and overall super convenient location.

Hotel is very nice, though one of the three elevators was out of order. The reception desk staff was very prompt and pleasant. The concierge staff were extremely helpful with everything. Big props to Jose!

Can be a bit noisy due to traffic, and loud aircon, but don't let that stop you!
- 5/5
Clean and friendly hotel with historical heritage.
- 3/5
I had originally ordered a suite room, and was promised two rooms. However, when I arrived, it was only one room, rather than the divided two. Furthermore, there was construction going on near the entrance, and was inconvenient when entering and leaving the hotel.
- 3/5
receptionists are not professional enough (they have an attitude and don't know how to communicate well with customers).. The hotel was below my expectations..
- 3/5
We had a really bad experience as the area out side is looked like building construction sites, very dirty and noisy. Unsafe as lots drunk and druggy people were walking around .staff were not helpful as we have booked our stay with breakfast and they said booking planform always makes a mistake and the property doesn’t offer breakfast
- 4/5
Nice clean hotel with decent amenities, great location.
- 5/5
Location is awesome

My new favorite hotel in Manhattan
- 5/5
In the middle of the action. Great base for exploring the city.

Would I return? No, there are much better hotels in NYC. We arrived for 3 days at the start of a US road trip. The first disappointment was that when we opened the curtains in our room, all we had was scaffolding and plastic sheeting so for our 3 night stay, we had to keep the curtains closed. The room with 2 queen beds was clean but very compact. Breakfast on day 1 was dreadful. We ordered 4 breakfasts; the least complicated being eggs on toast with a side of bacon and salmon and cream cheese bagel. The bagel came with no cream cheese, the eggs came with no toast. We queried this and it was like we were asking for the earth. The server was awful, suggesting she just gets extra toast (by which time the eggs would be cold) eventually asked to speak to the manager who agreed we hadn't received our order. She was good enough to clear our bill and we left without having eaten and chose to go elsewhere for the other mornings. On our departure day, the lady at reception was very rude and we left with a really poor overall view of the hotel. Needless to say, when we returned to NYC for our flight home, we chose to stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, in a great location. Staff were all ext, extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Convenient location right next to subway line. Super friendly staff, big room compared to NY standards, great food nearby, well maintained. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Nice room. Comfortable beds. If you’re there and the cops decide to raid your room and you need to get rid of the evidence, flush it down the toilet. That sucker had some power.
- 5/5
Love the convenient location .
- 3/5
Internet is not included. Surprised when we got added 45 per night for internet newspaper and 15$ voucher. When I booked. It said no parking fee. Confirmed on arrival and then was charged at check out. They said show me an emai that indicates that. Well it was not displayed on the room charges or hotel fees when I booked with expedia. Bell boy was rude. Not happy.
- 4/5
Beautiful older hotel, spacious rooms and a stunning lobby. In-house restaurant and takeout kiosk allow travellers to get on with their day quickly.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable. Staff was welcoming and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
When we moved in there was some repair work going on with terrible noise - we laid early move in fee after transatlantic flight saying that we needed to sleep and then the drilling next to our room drove us crazy. The reception promised that it won’t happen again although it went on till 2pm and the next day the same noise! Moved to different room which was quiet this time but when moving forgot my pj ij the first room and never got it back despite multiple requests. Service can be sometimes slow - my key didn’t work and I had to go twice downstairs to ask someone let me into the room and I waited 40 minutes overall. Not sure if I choose to stay there again - location nice but what if the problems persist?
- 3/5
We loved the size of the room. We’re a family of 4 with two teenagers. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. They said they wouldn’t allow us to have a cot in the jr suite. I know there’s likely a reason for this but the front desk offered no explanation. My daughter wants a space to herself without her brother so she chose to sleep on the floor on top of the couch seats so she didn’t have to share the sofa bed. The hotel came up as a Times Square hotel but it’s really not. It was a hike to get to the theatre area. If I had wanted to be further away we would have stayed in Chelsea. The hotel lobby is nice and the building is historic but it has really small elevators so there was always a wait to get in one. Also, one of the elevators wasn’t working. The “view” in the Jr. Suite was of a very ugly courtyard. No reason to open the window blinds. It was depressing. So we likely wouldn’t stay here again but it was fine.
- 1/5
it is overrated hotel, very poor aircondations are very bad and rooms really very small i will never use it again and not recommended
- 4/5
bathtub is too slipery
- 5/5
Our stay was great. The room with two queens was a little larger than I expected based on previous NY hotel rooms. It was very comfortable although our view was of a brick wall. The staff was friendly, especially the folks at the Bronze Owl. The room was clean and well-appointed. My only complaints are that there is a daily resort charge that doesn't really come with any real benefit. I would have had the wifi as a Hilton honors member and the "concierge ticket" business is a third party service that actually couldn't get us any discounted tickets or fares at all. That and only one of the two elevators was working so we often just took the stairs rather than waiting. Still, the price overall was good and the location is excellent... just steps from a subway station, LOTS of good food nearby, easy access to many of the top tourist attractions in midtown.
- 5/5
I loved that it was close to everything.
- 5/5
Had a great stay here everyone was so nice and super helpful
- 3/5
Decent hotel considering it is located in the central of manhattans, New York. It some not look as exactly as shows online with an ongoing front entrance renovation. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. Thanks you.
- 3/5
Squeaky floor, Paid for a bigger room, gave me a smaller room because the hotel was full, the window view to the interior of a building.
- 5/5
Loved being at Greeley down Broadway near Macy's and plenty to see with ESB right there
- 5/5
Very Nice
- 5/5
I like this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful😊
- 5/5
Great stay! Very friendly staff, clean, spacious room, super quiet, subway on same block, and central to everything! Loved our stay❤️❤️❤️
- 5/5
Had a great time. Clean and well maintained
- 3/5
The things we enjoyed the most about this hotel, were the affordability and the great location. There were definitely some downsides, especially if we were going to spend more time at the hotel. The comforter on our bed was quite soiled and should have been changed out a long time ago. Also, the room seemed to be generally older and had needed repairs if you looked closely enough. Overall, it was not a luxury experience, but we would definitely go back for the great price and location.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean & ready for check in when we got there! The staff was nice and helpful. Loved how convenient it was. Parking was just hard to find and walls were super thin so you pretty much have to whisper
- 4/5
Greta location DO NOT BRING A CAR THEY DONT HAVE PARKING AND THE ONE THEY OFFER IS 75 a night and no in and out privileges
- 2/5
Not only thst but I was shocked to see the side and class of the hotel Room I was reserved by Expedia for a group of 3 member family, me and my 13 yr old twins; a small room with bathroom in an old school style stainy bathtub almost attached a toilet. Needless that the windows were not cleaned half a year... it was impossible to accept I had to pay an additional of $50 to move to a sensible larger room with a proper bathroom. I think hotel pictures on your website are rather misleading. It should indicate the present state of the establishment that -yes it is a classic old Building/ we like that feature, no issue with that, - it needs to be renovated - half of the hotel building is covered with shoring on the outside for some structural work but I did not see any work in progress, - having said this hotel bellboys do a good job witn smiles and friendliness
- 4/5
Our room was small but comfy, location was great, subway was just around the corner within steps from the front door, AC worked perfect, shower was great; and great shopping stores near by.

It was fine, good customer service! Enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
The location is excellent—central and convenient for getting around the city. The only hiccup was check-in, which took a little longer than expected. That said, the staff were polite and helpful once we were at the desk. All in all, a clean, comfortable stay in a charming historic hotel. Would definitely consider returning.
- 5/5
loved it would stay here again
- 3/5
I was a bit disappointed with the room for the money spent. I was able to hear passersby in the hallway from my room, the room did not have mugs, no way to refill my water bottle except to go to the gym, the room did not include even a pen and notepad paper, and persistent noise from the renovation. The facilities outside of what I mentioned were well maintained and the location is perfect for going all over the city. The Bronze Owl is nice and the daily credit is nice. I did enjoy the staff and security was always present.
- 5/5
Perfect room and service
- 3/5
The staff were very condescending. I arrived at 2, they said my room would not be ready until 4 but for $150 more they could put me in an upgraded room right away. I asked if instead they would text me when my room was ready and they refused. When I came back at 4 that staff person told me she was too busy to wait on me and I should go to another person.
- 5/5
Great hotel and an amazing location!! Subway entrance right outside the hotel and food options everywhere! Clean, great staff, and wonderful daily options with the stay like food credit, drink credit, and bicycle rental!! Well definitely go again!

Amazing place to stay. Great staff and very clean. We stayed here (again) just to enjoy and shop in New York City. This has been our go to place to stay.
- 5/5
The main restaurant was clised for breakfast. The brass owl menu did not reflect ths full rangs of options
- 4/5
Hotel met my expectation
- 5/5
Great location. Convenient to mid town major attractions and subways for others. Early evening could be laude for street noise.
- 5/5
The location was perfect—parking garage directly across the street, totally within walking distance of everything I wanted to see and do. The restaurant and café downstairs were absolutely amazing food so good added such a nice touch to the overall experience. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be returning on future visits!
- 4/5
The cleanliness was great and the room was in good condition. The additional charges per day seemed a bit too extensive like 40 dollars a day, for which 15 can be redeemed on food, 15 on city bikes etc. For people that might not use the services its a waste of money
- 3/5
Reserved 8 Junior King suites for a family gathering. All rooms had views to the inner court space (yard is too generous) which had scaffolding, even in the top floors. Because of this, all rooms were super dark and depressing. What was very bothersome was that after paying the rooms through Expedia, they charge a "resort fee" of $40 per room. They only allowed me to pay the fee for the rooms at check out time (not before even after trying on 3 occasions with different personnel). And when you pay the fee, they say you get a $15 credit per room, which HOWEVER, you CANNOT use if you check out, not even at the cafe. Such a waste of time, energies, and ridiculous twisted system to take money and pretend they are generous. Reception personnel was somewhat friendly, some with big attitudes and quite inefficient (lines to check in and check out were over 10 people long almost every time we went in or out). Bell attendants are the only ones that deserve a shout out, in my experience: helpful, friendly and efficient. To conclude, while Martinique appears like an OK deal in comparative terms to other hotels, the "resort fee", mediocre rooms and some haughty personnel guarantee I will not repeat or recommend this hotel. Truly disappointing experience!
- 1/5
It was good but it was so loud due to construction constant waking up or people at windows
- 4/5
Very stylish, room was small, but was only there for one night, so it served its purpose. About a 25 minute walk from Time Square.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was less than friendly, had a bit of an attitude. The other staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Will go again

This was the perfect hotel for our New York trip. The location is perfect with a lot to do around there. Also the train station is only steps away.

The hotel was fine for what I paid. The best qualities were the onsite restaurant and cocktail lounge. The walls are a bit thin so it can be noisy at night.
- 4/5
We’d planned to stay in a standard 2 queen room but there was really no room to unpack. It was worth it to upgrade to a deluxe double and have a little more space. The bathroom was teeny but not atypical for NYC. There’s a parking garage affiliated with the hotel but the one across the street was less expensive. Thumbs up overall!
- 5/5
Perfect location, lovely hotel. Will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Easy access to great places
- 5/5
Great location near Penn Station, Koreatown, subways and buses to get almost anywhere. Staff pleasant, everything worked, very clean, nice sized room and almost too-large bathroom. The one nitpick is the doors (including one between ours and the next room) let in a lot of sound, particularly voices, which could be an issue for anyone wanting to sleep late.
- 5/5
This is our third stay there and we were not disappointed. We will go back again. However the bed could use an update! Love the convenience to the Train a station!
