Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its central location, friendly and helpful staff, and stylish amenities such as a rooftop bar and coffee lounge. However, some guests found the rooms to be too small and lacking in storage space, and a few had issues with noise and lighting.

Overall a very nice stay. Beds were super comfortable. Room small but good for a short stay. Location is amazing. Hotel staff was friendly. Coffee place within the hotel lobby. Some coffee place staff was unfriendly and surprised that they actually had to do some work.

Clean, attractive and modern property. I prefer smaller properties such as Made Hotel. Nice cafe on the first floor. Central Manhattan location and good access to multiple subway lines. These were the things that were less than ideal: Small rooms and beds. Immediate neighborhood is so-so. Overall: I give it an okay rating especially for a short stay in Mid Town. We got a really good deal by pre-paying for our stay.

Great value.

Ideal location. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Modern decor. Free coffee and tea on the ground floor. Lovely free toiletries. Location can be a little loud with traffic but you’re in the city so expected.

The Made Hotel was exceptional in every way. I will try not to gush too much so it doesn’t sound real, but I can’t say anything negative about our experience. From check in to check out, the staff went above and beyond. I encourage others who are unfamiliar with NYC or the area to ask the staff. They know everything and made wonderful recommendations! The location is perfect for Broadway, The Empire State Building and many other activities and eateries. Our room was well stocked and clean upon our early arrival. The happy hour was fun. The coffee/drinks area was great for snacks and coffee/tea/water. I strongly recommend the Made Hotel and will stay again if my travels take me back to NYC.

Location, vibe, comfortable bed
- 2/5
I recently stayed at MADE and, while I could have requested a refund at several points, it eventually felt more exhausting than it was worth. I chose to stay because the staff was genuinely kind, accommodating, and professional throughout my visit. Their customer service is the main reason I gave the hotel another chance. Unfortunately, this will likely be my last stay, not because of the people, but because of the property’s maintenance and functionality. To be fair, the weather during my stay was unusually warm and humid for New York City, which is outside the staff’s control. However, the issue seemed to go beyond the weather. The AC system throughout the hotel felt ineffective, and even after being moved to another room, it remained warm and uncomfortable. I found myself sweating at night trying to sleep. There were definitely positives. The staff and customer service team were excellent and responsive. The coffee shop downstairs was great, the avocado toast was surprisingly good, and the location is central while still relatively quiet for Midtown. The hotel has a trendy boutique aesthetic, reliable WiFi, quality bath products, and a nice Bluetooth speaker in the room. Pricing also felt reasonable for Manhattan. That said, several issues made the stay less comfortable than expected. Rooms have limited storage, no real closets, and little counter space. The under-bed drawers felt inconvenient, and the beds sit very low to the ground, which may be difficult for some guest.
- 5/5
The warm ambiance from the lights and wood themes in the room made my stay more comfortable and provided me a relaxed retreat from the busy NYC.

- 4/5
Loved the location (close subway, restaurants, theaters etc) and the vibe. Room is spacious for NYC. Free coffee and tea downstairs is a great feature. Bathroom is great with the MALIN+GOETZ shampoos, showergel etc. The beds are a bit short. For me no problem. Others might find them too short.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with a really good atmosphere around the entrance lobby, coffee shop and bar. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Rooms were well appointed, comfy beds and great amenities. Perfect location for exploring local food & drinks and also for walking to lots of NY attractions. Subway links close by. Nothing no not like!

The amazing staff the food the rooms !! Everything is amazing!!
- 5/5
Nice clean room. No refrigerator, microwave, or closets - something to think about if you want these items. I did get an iron and ironing board upon request.
- 4.5/5
A very intimate and cosy hotel right in the heart of vibrant Manhattan. The rooms are on the smaller side, but still a decent size for Manhattan. The bed is incredibly comfortable There isn’t enough storage space for clothes, so the room can quickly feel a bit cluttered.

Wonderful location, staff and room. Also loved the lobby coffee shop and bar and rooftop.
- 5/5
This hotel is a little gem! The common spaces are beautiful - we enjoyed a drink at the bar, and breakfast there the next day. Tapas restaurant is cute, and coffee shop is also very nice. The staff is very responsive and even texted me right back after I responded to a text from the hotel! That never happens - rooms were very nice. Bathroom sink area a little cramped but other that everything was excellent as was price for NYC.
- 5/5
Simply put it’s just cool…staff is welcoming, comfy rooms, good food and easy access to great coffee/tea. It worked for me on every level.

Location good. Room was great. Staff was very helpful.

I appreciate the modern look of the place, it was hip for lack of a better word. It felt very dorm room like - the bathroom was not private enough, the room was no soundproof. I think it was just a missmatch between what my expectation was for the price of $500 and what it ended up being.

We loved the location and the general feel of the Made Hotel. Perfect for exploring NYC and in our favourite Nomad area - close to Madison Gardens/Flatiron. The staff were all great, particularly Lucas who went out of his way to accommodate a room swap. Loved the room toiletries which were regularly refreshed. Shower was fabulous. Room cleaning excellent. Breakfast was tasty with a great choice. We enjoyed the free coffee but never made it back in time for the complementary glass of wine offered between 5pm-6pm!! Be aware that the beds are on low platforms so people with mobility issues may struggle to get in/out of bed in some rooms. Once in bed the mattresses and bedding are great!! The lifts were dark and in one in particular it was a struggle to see the floor numbers!! A small point but didn’t like having plastic glasses in the rooftop bar.
- 3/5
Made studio/king is not a room for older guests. Platform bed design is uncomfortable and potentially hazardous. Expensive new electronic toothbrush was accidentally left behind. It was not turned in by cleaning staff despite very generous tip.

The property is central, stylish, very clean & the price is very solid. We also loved the adjacent Noho area. -

The coffee shop, pastries, location. Our room had an adjoining door which meant to sound travelled.
- 3.5/5
It’s a well run hotel. The staff are helpful and the bar and cafe are very good. The rooms are large (by NYC standards). Prices also reasonable (again for NYC). It feels like they could do more with the space. The room was not set up well. The bed against the wall is not convenient when there’s two people. The room was large enough for the bed to have been placed with space in either side. Similarly the room was large enough to accommodate more hanging space for clothes. They could also do so much more with the rooftop bar which during the day is closed. I also didn’t love the location. Whilst geographically convenient being in midtown the surrounding ding area is quite shabby.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Loved the coffee bar in the lobby and the roof top bar. Great location. My only complaint would be the lighting in the bathroom. The light is only on one side of the mirror so doing your make up or putting in contacts was almost impossible.
- 3.5/5
the location is wonderful, as well as the room - I shared a deluxe room with my daughter, and we had a wonderful time. The NOMAD area is great, right in ht middle between the MoMA on the one hand and the SoHo area on the other. Something about the front desk's attitude right from the beginning, when we arrived, till the last day, didn't feel right - it was like they're doing you a favor for providing any type of assistance, preferring the company and laughter with each other rather than serving their customers. Most of them are very young, and maybe don't understand the meaning of "hospitality." It might be enough for guests who live in the US and just want a few days in the big city, but for those of us who flew long hours and spent 7 days at the hotel, it's simply not enough...

Very chic hotel in a great location! It’s very centrally located to a lot of the main tourist attractions and it’s easy to hop on the subway. We also loved the coffee from the cafe in the lobby!

Nicely decorated rooms, great staff, perfect location. Nice tea/ coffee in the room. There are rooftop parties when we were there, which didn’t bother us, but sometimes the elevator got overcrowded. The lobby is a bit dark. No breakfast option, except for delivery.

Absolutely loved all the plants and how cozy it was. The staff were all so friendly, and we really loved the free coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate and evening happy hour! The location was perfect, it was quiet but still so near the action. Would definitely return!
- 5/5
The hotel is super well located and my room was very quiet. Room was well-designed and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. My only issue was there is no gym and the desk staff told me they don’t have a partnership with a nearby gym to do day passes. He didn't even have any recommendations for me. Overall though, I’d highly recommend this hotel!

Friendly staff, great location, and a comfortable yet stylish hotel.

Stayed here a few years ago and loved it, came back and it just doesn’t seem like the rooms are being maintained as good as they need.
- 5/5
The rooftop bar was great, be mindful it’s not open in the evenings. The check-in was smooth and efficient and everything was explained well. The hotel offers free coffee to guests but there is a coffee shop in the reception for pastries and speciality coffees.

Very cool property. Nice to be surrounded by plants and other natural materials in the middle of NYC. Not a lot of space for personal items in the rooms but that was the only downside. Otherwise, great location, wonderful staff.
- 4/5
The room was spotless, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. Adding more lighting in the foyer would make it easier when entering the room. Overall, it was a wonderful stay—great value for New York City and an excellent location.
- 5/5
Clean room and close to everything
- 5/5
Basement restaurant Delano was superb for our first night - really good food and vibes. Coffee available on tap in the morning from self service in the bar which was ok. Coffee shop always really busy so didn’t use. Only had wine included in the ‘resort charge’ once. Not worth bothering with.

So cute and perf location
- 5/5
I can't begin to explain how incredible our stay at this hotel was. The rooms are quite simple, but that's all you need when you are going to spend the majority of your time exploring nyc. Each day, our rooms were cleaned, and clean towels were provided. The ambiance was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond for us. I wish I had gotten their names to properly thank them. Perfect location in midtown, away from the noisy streets but close to everything! A helpful tip is to ask the front desk clerk if they can arrange a taxi to pick you up or take you to the airport, as it is way cheaper than getting an Uber. I sincerely cannot wait to come back and will most definitely stay at this hotel again! 10/10!!!

This hotel is a total gem. Great location. The staff were friendly and helpful and responsive. Loved the room design. It was also really nice to have a bar, coffee shop, and restaurant inside the hotel.
- 5/5
We loved the boho chic vibe. It was very clean, inviting, warm, and cozy. The early check-in option and free delicious coffee were huge perks. The room, view, bed, and bathroom all were very nice. Totally fine for a quick trip but still would have liked a convenient suitcase surface or stand. We had our things on the floor and one bench/chair. Obviously it’s a small room like all NYC hotels but maybe there’s a creative way to address this common complaint. I still liked this hotel enough to come back so it’s not a dealbreaker.
- 5/5
Super nice hotel, beautifully decorated, very friendly and helpful staff, great location with tons of bars/restaurants close by and subway station only a few blocks away, great coffee shop and bar area in the lobby. Only complaint is their wine selection. There is a wine hr which is great and we got a free bottle for VIP status, but the red was soooo bad.. like not drinkable! If anything they should start buying the $6 Costco bottles and re-label them!

The room was freezing and front desk made me go through a lot until they realized it was broken. Throughout night and early morning slamming doors from hallway were so loud…thin walls! Too dark, no where to put stuff and only one nightstand. Not as chic as photos…Close to a subway and free coffee were only positives take aways.

This is the kind of place where the style drove the design not comfort. The room has the bed shoved against the window, so you have to basically crawl over your partner if you’re on that side of the bed. And there are folding doors covering the TV so when you open those to watch the TV, it’s an obstruction that I smashed my elbow twice trying to get past. And the bed is on a platform so in the night once again if you get up to use the facilities, you’re in danger of tumbling off of that because the lighting is not in convenient places either.. it looks nice, but it was a very uncomfortable stay

I needed an early check in, and the staff were very accommodating. In addition, the amenities on the ground floor are really exciting and convenient - a wine bar, a coffee bar, and food? Close to the subway, and an easy train ride to downtown or Brooklyn. The room was clean and chic, and the bathroom was comfortable with amazing water pressure. I had a great time.

Minimal lighting in the rooms and elevater made it difficult to do one’s hair and makeup. And even find your floor number to push on the key pad. Also the mirror in the bathroom is minuscule and worthless for any practical use. That said, the staff are lovely and very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the coffee bar in the morning and wine from the hotel bar in the evening. Modest hotel but had a lovely stay.

Recently stayed at MADE on a girls getaway and we could not have been happier with our visit. Great location in that it was far enough away from the more touristy parts of town, but close and central to everything we wanted to explore. Lovely inclusions like coffee each morning and happy hour in the evening, the lobby bar was always great for a bite to eat or cheeky drink, and while we didn’t make it up to their rooftop bar (we visited in winter) we heard that was lovely too. Rooms were modern, clean, quiet, tidy and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay MADE – would not hesitate in staying with you again.

Room was nice and clean, staff were really helpful. Debajo was excellent - we had both breakfast and dinner. Only comment was the bathroom amenities. The body wash was in small tubes the size of travel toothpaste and we only got 1 body wash, 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner at check in for a room for 4. Housekeeping on the first day gave enough shampoo and conditioner refills to use for the stay but body wash of course was most used and we pretty much had to ask every day because they didn’t refill it after the first day. Housekeeping was quick to bring the body wash up every time we asked which was great.

The room is a typical NYC-sized hotel room, except the bathroom was a little bigger than others. Overall, the room is very comfortable, the bed and the space were cozy. I don't have any complaints.

We loved our stay! The staff was so helpful and nice. The beds we very comfortable and the room was so quiet at night. The vibe in the lobby was great! Free coffee was a nice perk. This was our first time staying in this area and we can't wait to come back.

The staff made us feel special and as returning guests we appreciated that. As always our stay was comfortable, the bed is great, and the room quiet. We recommend MADE Hotel to all our NY bound friends.

This hotel is such a gem. They allow dogs and my 74 lb Goldendoodle was right at home. It was super easy to take the stairwell from the 3rd floor and be right out on the street for dog walks. The hotel had such chic style and the room was so cozy and comfortable. Whoever designed this hotel really payed great attention to tiny details. Because I booked via Hotels.com I was gifted a bottle of red wine. The mini bar was perfect. The cafe on the first level was super cute (vanilla lattes were excellent). The bar in the back was super cute. The restaurant downstairs was very good. The outside patio was very lovely and chill. They even had a rooftop bar which I never made it up to. But literally if you want to be near the heart of everything, Made hotel is where you want to be. I walked to Central Park mostly every day with the dog and back. I’m super partial to NYC but I miss it already.

Room was great design, spacious and comfortable… cool bathrooms… Liked the lobby as well .. only hotel in Manhattan that has Tulum-inspired design feel with organic woods, dark leather and plants. There are lots of locals who use the lobby as their neighborhood coffee shop

location, was good. Room was small, I guess typical for NYC, nice to have coffee shop in lobby The lobby lounge was always overly full, I guess the coffee shop is public and POPULAR. Non hotel guests seem to take up all the seating in the coffee area and in the lounge
- 5/5
The room had a smart and aesthetically pleasing design. It made the most of a small space. The view looked out the back of the building and it really made our room feel extra special. The coffee shop in the lobby was lovely. Really nice to just bop downstairs in the morning for a latte. Location was great too.

Room was not large (two doubles in our room), but typical of a NYC hotel. Lightning could have been better, but that’s my only comment. I would stay here again. Location is wonderful.

It's very dark! Elevator especially.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely appointed although on the small side which we knew. The room was bright and had a big window with a good view. They also offered wine during happy hour and coffee all day. The property also had two cocktail bars, a restaurant and a coffee shop.
- 5/5
The bartenders were both so great and the barista's were too. The front desk personnel were professional, efficient and very nice. Housekeeping also did a great job! We loved the mood of Made Hotel, the art work and furnishings were so cool and comfortable! We also found the location convenient to visiting all parts of the City. Great job Made Hotel, we would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay the staff was exceptional

Really nice hotel
- 4/5
However, I felt the charge I received on my card after the stay of £30 per day for what was explained to me on arrival as ‘complimentary wine at happy hour and complimentary tea or coffee at any time’ was very cheeky. If I’d known I was going to be charged for these regardless of whether I took advantage of the service or not, I’d have made sure I actually had some wine! Added expense onto an already expensive trip to NY.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a good walkable location. The staff went above and beyond. Don’t miss the free tea, coffee and drinks at the cafe. Great to grab and go in the morning or as a mid afternoon refresh.
- 4/5
The second night was better for the bed: it was normal. But again, no chairs in the room. The dim lighting in the common areas was mostly okay, except in the elevator: ambiance or not, it would’ve been nice to see the elevator buttons without having to use the flashlight on our phones. The bathrooms were satisfactory. The rooms had a kind of steam-punk decor: lots of pipes with hangars: no closet.
- 3/5
Good location, we walked to Times Square. The second night I was with friends, in a room with normal beds. The restaurant for dinner was lovely.
- 5/5
Absolutely flawless stay, will be returning
- 5/5
We loved our stay here! Can’t wait until next year. Only complaint is even from the 10th floor it was noisy. We loved the design aesthetic!
- 5/5
Rooms were super clean and really nice, pretty spacious for NYC. Lobby is great. Front deck is friendly and helpful. Will go back
- 5/5
To know it is to love it. On an insanely busy week they still made me feel special and like i was home. Ama at the coffee bar always checked in to see how I was doing while remembering my drink and handing me my black coffee with a smile. The front desk associates both early shift and late shift are warm and welcoming. The room is clean and cozy. Everyone works together and magic happens. Always a safe place to have a work week!
- 3/5
Room was very clean and had daily cleaning services. Nice big comfy bed with quiet room. The bathroom lacked privacy due to the small windows in the wall between the bathroom and the room. I would have liked some more explanation of deposit policy as a large amount of money came out of bank account as a deposit without being told. Overall a nice private hotel in good area for exploring the city if you want to stay central.
- 5/5
This boutique hotel was perfect for our 2-night stay. Right in the heart of the city, it still felt quiet and safe. Nice amenities like roof top drinks and a coffee shop in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great location. Quirky room. Great rooftop bar but it shut at 11pm. Two lifts, only one working when we were there. Easy checkout. Staff attentive.
- 5/5
Went as a couple and also had family book a second room so we could show them NYC. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and informative, with the wine hour a really nice touch. The rooms are well decorated, the beds very comfortable, and for the part of Manhattan the rooms are fairly quiet at night. We loved it so much we’ve already booked to go back!
- 5/5
Room was perfect and clean. housekeeping kept the restroom stocked with towels and toilet paper. I was celebrating my birthday and they added some special touches to the room! It was a nice surprise the only thing I didn’t like was the lighting during the day was fine but at night the room got very dark other than that I loved it and would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
The property is great. The room is cute and comfortable. The staff is so nice. The free coffee/tea/ water is great and they have a wine happy hour. The downside was the lobby was filled with people so there was nowhere for us to sit inside. It seemed like a lot of college students using their laptops and not hotel guests. We sat at the lobby bar and no one came over to us. The second floor terrace was nice, we ended up getting food somewhere else and bringing it back. Our bathroom door was extremely difficult to slide closed, but otherwise we were very happy.
- 5/5
The staff treated us well and the room was very clean! Would stay here again for sure!
- 3/5
The hotel was nice but too many hidden charges that you don't know about until you check out. It made my 2 night stay so much more expensive than what I actually booked on Hotels.com. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The cafe and rooftop bar are a treat. The general vibe is very cool but casual. Bed was very comfortable. The team was amazing. Yankee was so kind! 10/10

👍
- 4/5
More of a Trendy coffee cafe for hybrid workers with an added hotel… it’s New York so rooms are always going to be small… staff were good…. Beds could be better for the standard of hotel…
- 5/5
We had a great time staying at the hotel.
- 5/5
The front staff was very nice and attentive to my needs. The location was excellent and is couple minutes walks to my destinations. The room was cool and quiet after a long hot day of walking. And the free bike rentals was an added bonus.
- 5/5
Such a great property - my new "go-to" hotel when visiting NYC. Location was perfect and convenient for exploring the city. The property was very well maintained and clean. I can't wait to come back!
- 5/5
Front desk staff were very friendly. Bar staff were great and even gave our big group a couple of bottles of wine during the happy hour. One couple in our group met the housekeeping manager who made sure they had his contact information in case they needed anything. The Made hotel is in a great location connecting lower Manhattan with Midtown and very close to a subway station.
- 5/5
MADE hotel is a very nice boutique hotel, that is in a great location where you can walk pretty much anywhere. The staff was amazing. The onsite restaurant was fantastic, as was the roof top bar. Rooms were beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, small but cute space. Also very quiet!
- 5/5
Comfortable room, pleasant staff, very good coffee free for guests. Centralized location with easy pickup for ride services.
- 2/5
Property was clean and nice location. Room was tiny. Smallest I’ve stayed in, in NY. What was truly disappointing were the staff. Customer service wasn’t there. Rude woman at the coffee shop. Asked if I could have an espresso and she replied with “no” and just stared at me. I replied with okay, she then stated we’re closed after another employee told me they close at 6pm, and someone would be right with me. Attempted to use the rooftop bar. Elevator wouldn’t allow access to its floor. Was told the bar tender hasn’t released access yet. Bas listed hours start at 5pm. Attempted again at 5:30pm and the elevator access was still not released. I feel like amenities listed and staff friendliness are basic expectations when staying at a hotel. This one missed the mark.
- 5/5
Very nice boutique hotel with a wonderful cafe in the lobby. I booked a Standard Studio with a king bed and city view - it was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. There isn’t a closet or a lot of space to unpack but it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The location is great and a quick walk from Penn Station, great shopping and dining options.
- 5/5
Great central location in Manhattan, close to Penn Station and subway stations. Lots of restaurants and gelato in the neighborhood and a trendy coffee shop on the first floor. Beautiful rooftop bar. Would stay again!
- 5/5
Loved everything about this little hotel!
- 4/5
This hotel was extremely convenient to MSG. The room was very clean, however didn't realize the beds are on a platform and very low to the ground. Having a bad back, it was not ideal.
- 5/5
Hotel was perfect for our family of 4 - mom + 3 teenagers. Boutique feel, outside patio, free hot chocolate/coffee. Room was small but well designed. Staff friendly and helpful. Walked from Penn station. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
I needed to ship some work-related items ahead of time, and not only did the team help me receive and process them, but they also assisted with unpacking—and even managed to get everything washed last-minute. I felt truly cared for and supported in a way that went far beyond typical hospitality. This team didn’t just meet expectations—they redefined them. I can’t thank them enough for their warmth, attentiveness, and incredible service.
- 5/5
We had a great time! I particularly liked the people at the hotel! Everyone was truly friendly, treating you with curiosity and respect. I particularly like Ama, working at the coffee shop in the lobby! What a sweet and enlightened human being! The room was clean and comfortable and the location safe and walkable!
- 3/5
Got bed bug bites. Hopefully I didn’t bring any home. I left a $5 bill everyday, but the cleaning person didn’t collect the used towels.
- 5/5
Love the free coffee, tea and hot chocolate and the free glass of wine at 5pm!

Excellent place to stay while visiting NYC. Clean, safe and excellent staff.

The bed was so comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, along with the walkable location. What more could you want in NYC.
- 4/5
I really liked this hotel. First, in a perfect mid-town location. Perfect. Next, the style was super cool. The room was small, but comfortable. I loved the bed. I would definitely stay here again if there weren’t thousands of other hotels to try. But, I would recommend it for you to try!

- 5/5
Excellent hotel, great staff in a great spot
- 5/5
Very comfortable finishings and a pleasant stay. No expense was spared in the remodel of the spaces.
- 5/5
Staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The hotel is a little hard to locate, not much signage to find it. The whole hotel including lobby, room and hallways are very dark. The room was clean and comfortable. View not very appealing. Beds and linens were good quality. Decent location as far as accessing places we were visiting. Had one unseemly encounter outside the hotel during the day. Modern appeal. Staff not very friendly.
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Excellent boutique hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay there. Will be back.
- 5/5
Could not fault the place, great location, near shops and eateries and public transport. The staff very helpful and nothing too much for them.
- 4/5
Gorgeous botique hotel, the parking is not on property, you need to call the hotel and let them know youre parking and they move your car that you park in front of the hotel...if theres room...also its a 30 minute wait to get your car when you leave...otherwise it was a nice stay
- 5/5
A great weekend getaway experience. Very close to Penn Station, which made transportation a snap.
- 5/5
It was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Fantastic family stay at the Made hotel. Super location makes it easy to walk anywhere. The free coffee and wine just took this hotel to the next level. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We loved our stay. We had some issues with our room and the staff was super kind and changed our room. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are great. Great location as well, I would recommend.
- 5/5
This hotel was incredible! Top to bottom. The lobby felt warm and inviting, while still being chic. It had a garden terrace right off of the lobby bar. There is a coffee shop attached to the lobby, and coffee (hot or iced), hot chocolate and tea are free for guests. The beds are INSANELY comfortable! The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The room was small, but so smartly laid out that we had more than enough room. But the very best part was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was so kind and friendly. At all hours of the day/night. To myself, my guests, and even my kids separately. I could go on and on. I was more sad to check out of the hotel than to leave the city.
- 5/5
Very chic, which is hard to find in NYC
- 5/5
You get free coffee in the morning, also a free glass of wine between 5&6 pm of your choice and the place itself was just amazing. Super clean hotel, really nice finishes on the hotel room and really comfy beds honestly. Great location too, you can really walk from anywhere because its so central. Id recommend this place to anyone headed to new york.
- 4/5
The property is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable! I just wish that the room had a little more light. It was pretty dark. But overall, it was a wonderful stay!
- 4/5
Ver dark ambience
- 5/5
This property was absolutely stunning. So well put together from the rooftop bar to the restaurant in the basement. Staff was super friendly and accommodating!
- 3/5
We were visiting NYC for a wedding and decided to stay a couple of days at the Made. The living space was quite small, with no closet, only three hangers and two hooks. The sink top in the bathroom was very small and could only accommodate one "TSA" cosmetic page. The slatted shelf under the sink did not lend itself to storing cosmetic bags. The sink was fine for washing hands but to wash one's face resulted in water on the floor. There were no hooks in the bathroom and the lighting was very poor. I had to do some work at a very small desk/table and the connection for the overhead light was very loose resulting in the light blinking or going off completely. In terms of common area, there appeared to be a large number of individuals (not guests) who were meeting to work together in the area adjacent to the front desk so my husband was unable to get a seat to have a coffee and scone which were purchased at the coffee shot in the hotel. He attempted to enjoy his food at the bar however was told that you could only sit at the bar if you were ordering food. There were only two people eating at the bar and at least a dozen empty bar stools. Note, we had paid for multiple drinks at that bar the night before. Drip coffee was free for guests however they did not carry drip decaf which is all I can drink so I had to pay for a decaf cappuccino. The rooftop is highly touted however both nights we were there it was booked for private parties until 9:30 p.m.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! Beautiful and friendly. Great location
- 4/5
Clean, modern hotel in mid-town. Really convenient with lots of transit lines nearby. Lobby was very cozy and the 2nd floor balcony was a nice extra! Wish there was a gym in the building, though!
- 5/5
My stay here is always like coming home. I sleep so well and feel so welcomed. Thank you again for the coffee team, and check-in team. I'm always ready to go after seeing you!
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Good location.

Great location. Kind and helpful staff. Clean. Great vibes
- 5/5
Nice hotel, loved the coffee shop in the lobby!
- 4/5
Great beds! Very comfy
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with clean and elegant rooms. Unfortunately the rooftop was closed the night I was there.
- 4/5
The staff were really nice and the room was clean. Bed was comfy. Could hear our neighbor’s TV and car noise outside but it wasn’t too bothersome.
- 5/5
Made hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We were in New York to get married and the whole staff and team couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating from start to finish. All the little touches, the service, the help and effort they all made to make this an unforgettable stay was so very appreciated. Not to mention the hotel is in a perfect location. Round the corner from a subway. A few minutes walk from empire state and Times Square. 15 mins walk from high line and so many more amazing places. It’s off the beaten track so feels perfect to enjoy everything New York has to offer, without feeling like you can’t move around properly. The hotel has an amazing coffee shop - hot chocolates and honey bear latte are highly recommended! The room was spotless and the bed incredibly comfortable. We could not recommend this hotel more for so many reasons and next time we are in New York we will be back. Huge thanks again to the team for making everything perfect for our visit.
- 5/5
Ideal location if you need to get to Penn station quickly and centrally located in Manhattan Rooms were clean, employees very helpful and attentive, plus the complimentary coffee bar access in the lobby was fantastic
- 4/5
- 5/5
Great location! The staff was lovely and we loved the happy hour options. Great start to our trip!
- 5/5
Overall, loved this hotel. Service is great and everything you need from coffee to food is in one spot. It's central to everything you need in the city, and the in-room snacks and amenities (Malin + Goetz is a fave of mine) are top-notch. I will be staying here again soon.
- 5/5
A brilliant hotel in a fab location! Easy walking distance to subway and attractions. The room was clean and comfortable and a great size. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Literally the only thing that might be a nice touch is having coffee making facility in the room and having a door on the shower as the screen isn’t big enough - we ended up with water on the bathroom floor every day whilst showering and ended up having to use a towel to mop it up! But a great hotel for a trip to the big apple.
- 2/5
Ac didn’t work . Not worth what We paid
- 2/5
This property has a single mattress on the floor. There is no chair, no table, no desk, no nightstand, no closet, no hangers, no iron or ironing board. I was in town on business and had to move to a hotel with basic amenities after one night of a 3 night stay. They still charged me for 3 nights. The staff was supposed to bring hangers to my room and supposed to bring coffee but neither showed up. The only bright spot was the water pressure.
- 5/5
Modern and warm property! Great vibe and crowd. Staff was extremely kind and helpful!
- 4/5
Unique property with a great location. Daytime staff was excellent, so helpful and friendly. Shaved a star because the Friday and Saturday pm desk clerk was less so.
- 3/5
The modern design in the bathroom was nice. Rooms small. I wasn’t impressed.
- 5/5
Room was wonderful and clean. Location was great! Valet Parking was super convenient. I cannot say enough nice things about the Staff. They were wonderful!! Would POSITIVELY be staying there again! : )
- 4/5
Nice small hotel. Rooms are clean, very comfortable bed/mattress/pillows. Street noise does not penetrate sealed windows. But breakfast areas is tiny, one have to go out for breakfast. Rooftop bar is tiny as well. This hotel is expensive but not for Manhattan. Most of the guests are young professionals as the hotel carters to them the most.
- 4/5
Good central location
- 3/5
The hotel was lovely and in a great location however, they charge a $30 ‘curation fee’ per night of your stay which is not mentioned anywhere before booking or even mentioned to you when you check in. This apparently covers the wine hour and coffees at the cafe in the hotel. However, this is presented to you as being free when you’re actually covering this via a fee that you’re only told about and charged for after you check out. Something to be aware of and actually make use of as you’re going to be paying for it regardless.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel! The location is great and the rooms themselves are so cute and clean. The entire vibe was great, will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for one night, and we will definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time. There are some great amenities here, including an on site coffee shop that is open to the public during the day, and which provides free coffee and tea for hotel guests. We appreciated the friendly service of the front desk and the bar, and we also enjoyed the food from the restaurant downstairs that was served at the bar. The room was cozy but comfortable for two people, everything was clean and we loved the decor. The hotel is also walking distance from Madison Square Garden and there are a bunch of cute restaurants and shopping nearby, and it’s very accessible to public transit.
- 4/5
Lovely stay, cool hotel. Lobby bar and coffee shop too crowded at times. Some staff exceptionally friendly
- 5/5
Great staff, super location and nice amenities. Bed was very comfortable and the shower hot, what more do you need for a short city break.
- 5/5
We stayed on the 6th floor and there was zero noise from the street, however the walls are super thin and can be problematic if you have noisy neighbours.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
- 5/5
Great location, good vibes in and around the hotel itself
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. From the moment i arrived until my departure the staff was great!
- 4/5
The staff were all amazing. The cafe and restaurant were such a nice option to have for when I didn’t feel like finding somewhere to eat. My only complaint is the sound bleeding in the rooms. I could hear when the room next to me was adjusting their blinds or moving around.
- 5/5
Felt like an home away from home. Wonderful, inviting and comfortable lobby and coffee area. The was friendly and pocahontas and any requests were immediately handled. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Couldn't have had a better experience in NYC - other than getting two rooms for a family of four. We just wanted to jam it in and see as much of the city as possible. The hardwood floors and bedding were amazing. I wasn't worried about it not being clean enough. We went right down every morning for coffee before we ventured into the city. Great area to do whatever you want - easy to walk, to subway, super convenient. Loved Made Hotel!
- 4/5
I enjoyed staying at Made Hotel as it’s in a great location - quiet at night and walkable. I wish the happy hour for guests was longer. The complementary coffee was great. I did have to call down to the front desk for a number of things as two people were staying in the room, and there was not enough pillows, no iron and no hairdryer. But once that was sorted, it was all good.
- 5/5
Let me just start off by saying that you should absolutely book here for any upcoming trip you have. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple days to celebrate my 26th birthday. The hotel staff were amazing and even sent up a complimentary champagne bottle for us to celebrate! This was our first time traveling to New York so we didn’t know what to expect in terms of location and how the hotel would be. The location is GREAT! An easy 5 minute walk to the subway. Central to almost everything. Not to mention our flight landed at 7am and the hotel was able to check us in early at 10am. The lobby vibes are so cute, and the rooftop bar and patio are also stunning. The rooms are small but that’s to be expected with NYC, can easily manage if you are traveling with two people. Rooms are clean and also very aesthetic. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker in the room if you forget to pack one like we did :) Overall great experience and we definitely will be coming back to stay in the future!
- 5/5
Great staff, location, and vibe. The coffee shop felt like a local shop rather than a generic hotel coffee shop. Keep in mind this is New York, rooms are small all over the city and this is no exception. We were a family of 4 and while it was tight, it was enough space for us. The bathroom was nice and excellent pressure in the shower. I would not think twice about staying here again.

Great location, friendly staff, room itself is nice. Will say walls are very thin, would be nice if the room was a bit more stocked - I.e maybe a mini fridge, kettle etc
