Worst experience I called the property multiple times to change my stay dates and also sent several emails, but I never received any response. The booking stated that changing the reservation dates was possible, but in reality it was impossible to do so through the Booking.com app, through Booking.com customer service, or directly with the property via email or phone. I was also charged taxes even though I never checked into the hotel. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. Worst experience ever!!!

The spacious room, the location is a huge plus The frequency of house keeping, the lighting and no water boiler, would be nice to have one

It was located near to where we needed to be. Having the option of leaving our bags there although it costs $5 per bag, helped us. The vending machine in the foyer was not working and there was no water in the room

Big and comfortable room, affordable with great location. Cleaned and towels changed every other day. Could not roll window blinds so room was always dark and could not open window to let fresh air in.
- 1.5/5
Location was fine. Room was dated but clean. There was no cable TV, nor ability to log in with internet to stream. I'm glad I remembered to bring a book. The air conditioner did not work. They had a portable unit in the room that worked, thankfully because it was humid, but it was not a good experience using it.

Huge room, decent size bathroom, air con working perfectly, free coffee downstairs and the location near-by Grand Central Terminal. Windows could be replaced but no drama.
- 3.5/5
The room was quite large for NY and the bed was very comfortable. It looks like it needs some work. Tape on the elevator buttons, the electronic lock on our door was broken so the reception had to unlock our door with a key but we didn’t get one. The A/C was loud.

Nothing I would say NEVER book this hotel, you pay 700$ and you can’t even leave your bags without paying after the checkout. There is no kettle, no coffee in the room. I didnt even have shampoo in the room and when I asked they brought it in a plastic coffee cup?!!! It was geniunely felt like a joke. They dont change the towels like they should normally everyday. I dont even understand how they have 4 stars, this wasnt even worth 2 star. Only one elavator works for 16 floors?? Just dont book it for real. If I can I would want a refund at this point cuz it was that bad. I dont think the place and the towels were clean enough as well

Comfy beds, good location It needs renovation, windows are not sound proof - noise at night kept waking us up, pillow blankets were shorter than the pillow itself so you basically touch the same bare pillow used by somebody else, no bath curtain.

king bed was great. the staff was helpful. the bathroom and shower were fabulous, modern and clean. the location was perfect. the fridge wasn't working, on the last day the elevator was on and off in reliability.

Location, Spacious room I want to start off by saying this was a planned five-day trip. After traveling over six hours to get to the hotel, I arrived about an hour and a half before check-in and was informed I had to wait until 3 p.m. I understand policies, but the front desk staff’s attitude made the experience immediately unpleasant — the customer service was terrible, and I was basically told to “just wait.” Once I did check in, I found that only one elevator was working for a building with about sixteen floors, which caused long waits every time I needed to go up or down. The room itself was spacious but far from perfect — dirty windows, cracked walls, and pillowcases that didn’t even fit the pillows. When I tried to turn on the TV, it didn’t work. I attempted to call the front desk, but the phone wasn’t working either. I had to go downstairs again, only to be told (very rudely) that none of the TVs in the hotel worked. This was never mentioned at booking or check-in. I wanted to check out right then, but having traveled so far, I was too exhausted to deal with the hassle. Upon check-out, customer service was just as bad. A different front desk staff member barely looked up, handed me a clipboard to write my room number, and told me to just “leave the key.” No acknowledgment, no courtesy. While the hotel is conveniently located for getting into the city, that’s the only positive thing I can say. Poor communication, unhelpful staff, a broken elevator, dirty bedding, and no working TVs made this a very disappointing experience.

location - walking distance to times square, and subway loud
- 2/5
It was close to our destination No tissue, no hair dryer, it was fair in cleaning, no tv that had a station, no fridge that worked, no lotion to use, unusual way of plugging in their lamps. Not a very put together hotel. Surprised me. The elevator felt like it was going to break. Only one elevator working, barely.
- 2.5/5
Not much The air conditioner wasn’t working had to open the windows and the pictures are very different
- 3/5
The location is perfect—you’re close to everything, including the subway station. The price is also great value for the stay. Even though it’s very central, it’s quiet at night, so you can sleep well without much noise. At the entrance, it looks quite run-down, almost as if something is missing, but the rooms are nice and comfortable.

It was the first time we stayed in that area and it was ok. More laid-back neighborhood than we were used to. You could somewhat tell it used to be a nice place. Now, there are TV’s in the rooms throughout the hotel that do not work, noWiFi. No washcloths throughout, no body-wash, barely shampoo. The table in the room was stained and had dusty chairs. Some shades did not open. All the way around, it was dumpy. Partly my fault as I didn’t read the amenities for the hotel, I just assumed those things would be available. The room was just plain unacceptable. The best thing was the male attendant at the front desk was very understanding and told us he always gets complaints about the hotel. He has talked to management with no results. He asked me to not use his name when I write the review for fear of his job.

I didn't get my money back yet from the signal payment

My TV did not work. The vending machine in the lobby did not work.
- 2/5
The AC didn't work, and the room was pretty warm, making it uncomfortable. The Internet didn't work correctly and kept working intermittently. A guy was shouting on the street just outside the hotel for several hours very late at night, and the staff didn't do anything to address it.

Spacious room and great location Check in process was slow and unprofessional
- 2/5
Location was good and size of rooms was good. Lacked cleanliness. The water in the bathtub was very dirty. The lobby was unkept and the elevators were dirty. It felt like some other type of business was going on.

Location and accommodation! Nothing!

We booked this hotel to be in close proximity to NYU’s outpatient surgery center. Our room’s curtains didn’t work and the bathroom wall leaked with water from the floor above. Additionally, we found a cockroach.

The room was not clean, it smelled damp, I had to open the window because I had trouble breathing.
- 1.5/5
The location is nice. The room was decently clean. The photos online were misleading and the building did not have a rooftop accessible!! The room was very hot and the thermostat did not work very well. The toilet made very loud noises after flushing. The hot water in the shower did not work half the time. windows were pretty dirty so the view of the city was subpar.
- 0.5/5
They staff was rude, they lied about charges. There is no staff from 5am to 8am everyday. The room was dirty with a dirty jack daniels whisky bottle. The TV did not work.

There was a bed. The bathroom water pressure was surprisingly good - the shower was high-pressure and relaxing. the large soaker tub was nice and filled quickly, however, the step to get in to the tub/shower is quite high and could be difficult for some. The room was extremely hot and the cooling system must have been shut off for the season. Fortunately, the windows did open enough to let in fresh air. The Wi-Fi didn't work which affected the TV as well. I notified the front desk but got no response. The towels in the bathroom were mismatched and there were no washcloths. The only way to get early check in before 3:00 p.m. is to pay $30 and if you arrive early and want the hotel to watch your bags its $5.00 per bag. The room was tidy and neat however, it didn't feel clean. There was no "documentation" in the room at all explaining things like Wi-Fi, food options, or the main power switch in the hallway. Lured in with discount room rates then bamboozled with taxes and service fees almost as much as the room rate. Total price including all fees is preferred.

The location on Lexington Av makes it close to the UN on one side and the Grand Central on the other. The room was pretty big by "NY standards" and the bed was very comfortable. The staff may need more training. There was a long queue at check-in and the reception staff did not seem to be expediting. There were only four people ahead of me and it took over 20 mins of wait for my turn. Charging for keeping bags (5$ per bag per day) could be avoided considering wide gap between check-in and check-out time (15:00 / 11:00). I found a used soap in the bathroom which did not speak well of the cleaning staff,

Location,, room size and front desk staff members were very accommodating I did not like that the cleaning service for my room was not done

Location. A/C wasn’t working.

Convenience to major attractions Check in needs a better system especially with knowing if a room is clean or not vs having to go all the way to the room and seeing it a mess. Have a system implemented via app so staff can validate which rooms have been cleaned or not so check-in can be quicker. Only 1 person working reception means slower process especially if they have to assist with luggage on another floor. Room is quite cold and stays at 66 degrees. They need to improve heating even with the provided heater it was still cold and the most annoying thing is the windows are not sound proof or properly insulated from noise pollution and every single noise from sirens, honking, reckless drivers in the streets can be heard which can be very annoying when trying to fall asleep. They need to insulate windows better!!

I like where the hotel is located. I really didn’t like how I asked for clean sheets multiple times since I got in the room and seen the stains on the sheets. The next morning i asked new staff they said they only change it every two days. That’s ridiculous since the sheets weren’t clean when we got there. Couch was also stained like they never washed the cushions ever.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The rooms were extremely old and looked nothing like the pictures advertised online. It felt completely misleading. We traveled with our entire family during winter, and unbelievably the rooms do not even have heaters, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The refrigerator in the room was not working, the sheets did not smell clean, and overall the room felt poorly maintained. For the price they charge, the condition of the rooms is unacceptable. The front desk staff was also very unpleasant and completely unhelpful. Instead of trying to solve problems or assist guests, they acted like they didn’t care at all. To make things even worse, when we checked out they charged us $5 per bag just to store our luggage in an empty storage room. Charging guests for something so basic after such a bad experience felt ridiculous. Overall, this place is very disappointing and does not live up to what they advertise. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
