You can tell the property is a little aged. All the faucet handle was about the fall off and shower curtain was barely hanging on. Bottom of the bathroom door have sign of water damage. We only stay here because it was close to a friend's house.

The location was great and near the subway. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and a good water pressure The staff. Particularly the woman who checked me in. When I 1st walked in with my suitcase she didn’t even greet me. She looked at me as if I was crazy. Then she finally said, “are you checking in?” That was before 3 and she told me I couldn’t check in unless I paid the fee, so I put my bag in the breakfast area and left. I came back around 2 something and sat in the lobby (waiting for 3). I listened and watched her greet every single person that came in (mainly with the opposite skin tone as me). At 2:58 i approached the desk. There was a man behind the desk taking calls alongside the woman from earlier. He asked was i waiting until 3 to check in an I explained to him that the woman said I was unable to. THAT was her only time greeting me (I’m assuming the man at the desk was the manager which is why she even did so) and it was done in a dry manner. And she said, “oh I forgot you were sitting there. I started check ins at 2:30”. I was honestly annoyed by that point because I was literally sleep in the lobby but I said all of that to say whoever spends their money there should be treated with respect and common courtesy. Part of her job is customer service. I would’ve canceled my booking had there not been a ‘no refund’ policy. The women doing sanitation around the hotel were lovely, friendly and polite. The men who were stationed at the desk after the woman left were polite and friendly as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We made some memories that we will cherish forever. After long days of walking through the city, we especially enjoyed unwinding with the la Quinta tv. All of our favourite shows where available to make us feel at home. Classics like chopped castaways, sex sent me to the er and dateline. I would especially recommend the episode where the husband murders his wife because he had an affair with a Lithuanian (very strange land). What was very striking to me, when the police entered the premises, there was a female down, obviously deceased. If you have any questions, reach out to Bo Ebenezer. The last thing is, we really loved the soothing sounds of the shower, almost like a waterfall reminding us of our roots. Kind regards. I will say, the la Quinta breakfast could have been better. Especially if you had a long night watching dateline, 6-9 is a bit rough ;).

Beware putting out your Do Not Disturb sign. We took ours off by 8:30 AM when we left our room. When we returned at 9:00 PM. Our room hadn’t been cleaned. When we questioned it at the desk, we were told that when the Do Not Disturb sign was out early in the morning, the staff interrupted that as do not clean. Staff were pleasant.

Room was below street level so headlights from cars were coming into the room all night. The beds were extremely short, not regular queen sized. The air conditioner was not functioning properly and extremely noisy when operating. Bathroom doors were peculiar and you had to reach around the door to turn on the light. Air quality was not good and bathroom had a musty smell with water damage visible on the back side of the bathroom door. Had to wait several minutes before someone came to the front desk to check in. Definitely never going there again

Location was a block & couple streets over from subway station. Room was clean & good quality towels. Easy to operate the heating/ cooling system. The toilet made a dripping sound so had to keep the bathroom doors closed. Walls could be better insulated as you could hear talking of people in next rooms . There were not sufficient & easily accessible electrical outlets.

Staff were friendly - we had a king room which was a good size and immaculate. The bed was comfortable. Large Tv, fridge coffee machine. It was ideally situated for what we wanted. Breakfast room is small, just 4 tables and a ledge across the back wall, definitely need more chairs. Breakfast was basic, toast, muffins, yoghurts, fruit a waffle machine, then sausage and flat rounds of scrambled egg. Hot and cold drinks. Not liking paper plates/bowls/cutlery though. We were on first floor by reception and breakfast it was very noisy.

• $45/nt parking • staff didn't know how to unscrew the remote to replace the battery and wouldn't accept any help or suggestions • shower didn't work. Got switched into another room and the TV and shower didn't work there either. • fire alarm went off, not their fault, but the continued chirping and green light in my room made it impossible to sleep.

I recently needed a place to stay while we were painting my daughter’s apartment, and I was fortunate to find this hotel nearby in Brooklyn. The location was very convenient, especially for the Park Slope area, and made everything easy for us. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something reasonably priced and close to the city while still being in a neighborhood setting. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the Park Slope, Brooklyn area. Not enough chairs in the breakfast room and needed some fresh fruit, bananas. More healthy options.

Breakfast was available but we did not take advantage. The room didn't inspire much confidence in the food. On first arriving in room 313 we couldn't even open our door all the way bc it collided with a closet/cabinet placed immediately behind it. The two beds were fine, no pillowcases. Outlets were very loose and several did not work to plug devices into. The toilet was cramped with little space to move and folding doors that didn't completely close. In order to get to the bathroom there was only about 6 inches of clearance from the side of one of the beds making it impossible to directly walk to the bathroom. You had to turn side ways to access it. The flushing mechanism was startlingly loud (and we could hear other people's from several rooms down throughout our stay.) There was a nightstand with phone and lamp between the beds that had no outlet anywhere behind it so the phone and lamp were useless decorations. When we left around 10am for the day we expected the cleaning to take place while we were out. Instead, we came back from our wandering at 6p, noticed no cleaning had taken place and expected that was just the case, but left for a concert and returned around midnight to find the cleaning had taken place some time after 7pm which we thought was just strange. Would pretty genuinely not recommend.

This place was awful. The lamp had this gross crud all over it and the sheets had hair in it. They changed it out but it took hours. Then the TV didn’t work. There was no water pressure and they put us in a room right next to housekeeping storage. They started making noise at 6:30am! Couldn’t even sleep in.

Good water pressure (but not a strong stream but pressure was good even when hot water was going low , didn’t jump around but doesn’t have setting for like neck massage or not enough power to do that, at least in my room. Towels more less good enough. Bed in my room must’ve been great bc I couldn’t wake up for my life and kept extending my stay. Staff is helpful and no strange random rules that make no sense. Didn’t try the breakfast.. bc again would wake up and pass out again in their bed lol

I arrived earlier than check and fine I paid $55 at 12:30 pm. Then to walk in the room none of the sockets worked, no remote control for the tv, no wash clothes in the bathroom or hand towels and, the shower was leaking out onto the towel paper. I complained they moved me to another room with a child sized tv and the shower did the same thing. In the morning we were woken up by the guest eating breakfast and talking loudly. I drove 13 hours and have to drive 13 hours back to be woken up both days ass early. I was not happy or satisfied by the size or the experience.

Also the deadbolt was broken. It was over all an ok stay.

AC wouldn’t stay on, maybe because room temp said 60 degrees no matter how hot or cold it was. Oddly it was freezing when we first arrived then later in the day and through the night it wasn’t functioning properly to allow for a cooled room. The shower curtain rod curves down making the shower curtain slide down to the middle, while showering. During breakfast we were constantly waiting for the staff to finish cooking their waffles or using the microwave. They only had 1 type of fruit (apple), breakfast meat (sausage) and 1 waffle maker. They have a small parking lot and still charge for parking and THEY will call the tow company if you don’t pay. I get it’s NY but having no parking because it is NY is more understandable than having a lot and charging for parking. Maybe I'm wrong about the parking but it’s just my opinion.

Hotel could certainly use a few upgrades but overall condition was good. Limited paid parking behind the building but that is typical for the area. Would stay here again.

It was good but old property.
- 4/5
Easy to get around, quiet and safe area.
- 3/5
The property was close by to the events we had planned in Brooklyn, so lyft and ubers were reasonable. The room wasnt terrible, we did notice that splinters were on the bathroom door. No shams on the beds so stains were visible on the box spring. Also there were not enough towels in our bathroom. Waited 45min for more to be brought up.
- 2/5
Upon check out, I was told I was unable to get a printable receipt.
- 5/5
Room was clean, hotel staff were great. About a block up and a couple blocks over from the subway. My 15 year old daughter and I walked all around and never felt unsafe. It was quiet outside.
- 1/5
Very small rooms and bathroom w/ limited space and “every room is designed the same.” I requested a handicapped accessible room and they placed me in a hot a** basement next to the laundry, kitchen etc. Looked more like a dungeon I asked to be moved and was told there were no more handicapped accessible..the only difference in the room is that there is a bar in the bathtub which online they advertise as a walk in shower. Will NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN!
- 3/5
The breakfast selections were very limited and unappetizing.
- 2/5
BTW, thank you Jasmin for your excellent service!
- 3/5
I like a bath, but the bath had no stopper and the drain could not be closed mechanically. The front desk man was neither helpful nor apologetic.
- 4/5
Good for sleep
- 4/5
La posizione è un po' distante dall' ingresso metro, volendo lasciare la macchina in hotel.
- 1/5
Upon my arrival and check in there were a swarm of gnats in the first room and when i requested to switch rooms the front desk agent had an attitude. Once they did switch my room, they switched me to a room that was not properly cleaned. The bed was infested with bed bugs. I have a witness to this experience. Everyone that knows me know that I’m one of the cleanest people they know and that i was completely healthy upon my arrival. I left the hotel with several bites on my head and left arm.

Area was easier to get around

Room appeared bigger online. Small room horrible customer service. No comp coffee or tea.....
- 3/5
Close to the places I was visiting, but to small
- 5/5
It was a shame that they charge for parking, but these are not a big deal
- 3/5
The breakfast was good and the lobby /hallways were clean. The front desk staff was mostly surly and had the be pried off their phones and games to snarl a brief answer. The breakfast attendant and the housekeepers we met all were pleasant and greeted us. Front desk staff should all be given a lesson in hospitality,

Exelent staf
- 4/5
would definitely recommend this place!! definitely enjoyed my stay and will be coming back.
- 4/5
All in all it’s a good place. The room lacked things like a telephone and something to write on. The breakfast area is small, foods ok and there are no stools for the eating counter. Other than that we enjoyed the small room that was quiet and cozy. Did not like being in a cellar room with a view of parked cars and people walking by the window but the curtains took care of that. Although I made a mistake and only had a stay for one night they allowed us to stay in the same room without interruption, when I added one more night.
- 5/5
Clean and very friendly staff
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms, safe, close to places I want to be, CitiBike right outside!
- 3/5
My request was for a handicap accessible room but the original room assigned had to be changed. It was in the basement, it was dark, and small. The next room was still small and required a maintenance person to change the showerhead to a hand held shower. The check- in agent was very helpful with making sure we were finally satisfied with the accomodations.
- 4/5
I liked the location and cleaniness. I liked I could have my baggage stored until check in. I didn't like that housekeeping doesn't come by the rooms daily. I asked for fresh towels and never received them

I stayed at this hotel for the BCB convention in Brooklyn, it seems accommodating based on the reviews. I paid $220.00 for a Tuesday to Wednesday stay. The room that was assigned to me, was on floor C, seems to me like the janitor's floor, it was on the lower level and the phone reception was terrible. The bathroom door look from the 80's, the traffic noise from the traffic made it hard for me to sleep until at least 8am, woke up, went to floor 2 for breakfast, what it look like a living room was a " breakfast room, no yogurt available, i only grabbed coffee and went back to my room to take a shower and be on time for the convention at 11am,attempted to blow dry my hair and the dryer smell like burnt. Called front desk, after 45 minutes someone show up stating he needed to change the whole unit, I requested a portable blow dryer and it took over 20 min for that. To be a Wyndham hotel, horrible! Don't waste your money here .

Great staff so friendly!
- 5/5
Quick get away, friendly people. Cool stay! Bed comfortable.
- 1/5
Honestly the issue we had with this booking was we paid for a room with two double beds and didn’t get that. We got a room with one bed which was extremely small. The front desk clerk did get us a rollaway bed but it was terrible. So again I expect to get what I pay for and I did not…
- 2/5
It seemed a little dirty. There was somebody’s shirt in my room from the last person. I suppose the bathroom was making a dripping noise all night and the vent is extremely loud in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Fantastic location!
- 4/5
Staff were wonderful answering our questions about the area.
- 3/5
Clean Room should have 2 chairs. Bed has a high mattress. It is difficult for people in 70’s with bad backs. Our room was not made up on June 1, Sunday, of our stay.
- 4/5
Good people and okay service. Had to move my room twice. Things could be better but overall good.
- 3/5
The stay was fine. There was zero water pressure in the shower and I had to ask for a do not disturb door tag and clearly annoyed the front desk by my ask.
- 2/5
Vent was dirty got sick. Think I got the worse room. Been there before and it was better
- 1/5
Its not comfortable and they charge for parking. And there is no parking on the street. Never ever seeing a hotel that charges extra for parking. Thats crazy
- 1/5
I didn’t even stay here and got charged on my credit card 184
- 2/5
I was given a room right next to check in desk on first floor. After 6 am it was just constant chatter of guests checking in and cleaning employees. There was also a constant dripping noise coming from the toilet drainage that kept me up all night. Clean with a little clean, the sheets had some sort of red splatters. The only good(ish) thing was the price as it’s one of the cheapest options in Brooklyn area if you’re booking on quick notice. But definitely think twice if it’s worth a lack of comfort and rest.
- 4/5
Other than that had a very enjoyable time, the location was great and the staff were very accommodating.
- 3/5
Decent accommodations if you’re staying for 1-2 nights. Room is on the small side, but adequate if you’re just using it to sleep. Bed was more comfortable than expected. Cold A/C. Our room was on the 1st floor (104). The staff responsible for setting up the continental breakfast (just down the hall) was incredibly careless and made a lot of noise at 5:30am, so unless you’re a heavy sleeper, ask for a room on one of the other floors.
- 2/5
Extremely basic, photos look better than it is and rooms are way too small if you have a baby with you like we did. Room faced the road where people loitered and smoked outside - we could smell the cigarette smoke from inside our room. Staff were polite and helpful. Location was good too.
- 4/5
This hotel was perfect for our one-night stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the room was on the smaller side but clean and worked well for the three of us! Our only struggle was that the bed was extremely creaky and loud, so anytime anyone rolled over in the night it was pretty obvious. Also, we were watching a movie on the tv and the signal suddenly went out and never came back. Which we did not alert the staff about but they probably would have come to try and fix it if we had alerted them! Overall a good place to stay for a short amount of time.
- 4/5
Hotel was in a good location. Walkable area.
- 5/5
My room wasn’t ready when I got to the hotel, but staff was very accommodating. I was allowed to relax in the lobby and they communicated to me The instance My room was available. My room was clean. The. Breakfast was delicious. And it’s in a Great location. I will definitely be staying here again.

I booked the hotel because we had a birthday celebration to attend for my sisters 40th birthday. The whole family was there, I booked this location also because it said downtown and I wan to be near the restaurants in downtown Brooklyn. This hotel was not close to downtown, and it was dirty! The breakfast area tables were peeling off, it looked like the entire area had been the same since the 60’s. The couch in the lobby area/front desk had blood stains all over the cushion seats! The hotel looked nothing like what was shown. There was a weird closet in the room, placed behind the door so you couldn’t fully open the door. There was no built in closet. There was barely space for my carry on bag.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. When we arrived expedia had changed room reservations from 1 room with 2 double beds and 1 room with a king to 2 rooms with king beds. This was not the hotels fault but it did create an issue as the room is very small and not able to accommodate a cot and maintain ability to open/close bathroom door. In our room there were areas of obvious material on wall that looked like dried syrup, bundle of hair on floor, corners of bathroom not clean. The tub had no drain cover and tub was very slow to drain making it not suitable for a bath due to back water so children had to shower. Breakfast was nice and clean, kept restocked as used. Overall okay stay but room needs a deep cleaning.
- 5/5
Quiet clean room staff was very friendly
- 4/5
It was fine. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. It's not in the greatest part of Park Slope, but not far from everything we wanted to see. The coffee was good.
- 5/5
Came to Brooklyn from Florida to attend a concert at The Barclays, the hotel was clean, staff was great and breakfast was actually very good. I was expecting breakfast to be a grab and go situation bt they had a variety of options, eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal etc. Parking was kinda pricey at $45 a night bt for me I paid it due to minimal parking on the street. There wasn’t NO hidden fees as in Incidental or Deposits which was great for me. There is a Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts within walk-in distance. I would stay here again if I ever travel to Brooklyn again.

The staff sucks don’t speak English the bathroom is as like shiting in a closet and the people staying there are so loud it was like staying overnight in a prison
- 3/5
The Hotel was old ,spent little to renewate ,the floor was stickey in the room ,
- 3/5
The housekeeping staff was terrible, I asked for clean towels three different times with no response. They also never cleaned the room on a two day stay. This area of Brooklyn was great and that was the best thing. Clean room.
- 3/5
Breakfast was awful. Comforters dirty
- 4/5
The property is in an excellent location. If you love to walk, you’re a block from Prospect Park and in between two streets that have restaurants, coffee shops, and the subway station is just a few blocks away as well. Nelson was very responsive and informative and I felt very safe throughout my stay as a solo female traveler. The only thing I would say is if you’re staying for an extended time like I did and traveled with a luggage and carryon, the stairs are very narrow and it’s a 2 floor walk up to get to the unit. You’ll also likely want to bring your own antimicrobial wipes and a dish washing sponge for cleaning. When I arrived there was a tea kettle left on the stove, but no tea bags, so I wasn’t sure if that was made as a welcome gift or left over from someone else’s stay. It’s a very family friendly neighborhood as well so I would think this apt would be perfect location for a small family. I had to work during my stay and the photos do not picture it but there is now a desk in the living room so I was very pleased to find that! Thank you Nelson, your apartment made me fall in love with the area!
- 4/5
Didn't like Cellar room right on the street.
- 5/5
It’s serviceable and welcoming!
- 1/5
We moved to the 1st floor DIRECTLY across from the employee bathroom and it reeked of urine. Coming and going throughout the day and we smelled it the entire stay. We heard doors slamming and talking the entire night as we were also right in front of the stair well. The sink in the second room drained very slow and there was food wrappers left from McDonald’s in that room as well and we never visited McDonald’s :(
- 4/5
Great service, nice amenities, and close to the subways The cons: when asking for maintenance they came 5 hours later to help with a problem, and the room key would not work randomly But I had a great experience!
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
We showed up to the hotel around 6pm on checkin day and our bathroom wasnt cleaned well. It still had previous dirty towels and the garbage bin was full with previous guests stuff.. we mentionned to the staff and they acted immediately. Super comfy beds but the bed sheets did not look like they were changed or clean. They looked washed our grey .. we tried not to focus on that and enjoyed our stay nontheless.
- 3/5
Hardly room to maneuver to go to the bathroom
- 1/5
We stood in lobby for 45 minutes until desk clerk came back from lunch, no sign or anything to let us know they were on lunch
- 4/5
Inexpensive hotel convenient to Park Slope area, 8 minute walk to subway. Easy to find on street shopping nearby. Good serve yourself free breakfast. Not a fancy place to stay but clean and very convenient. Room was ckeabed with fresh towels daily. Good value.
- 4/5
SECOND VISIT, LOVED IT
- 2/5
The only thing I could thank about the staff is a couple of times where my room key was not working, but it was able to fix it and give me new set of keys without charging me. But the room keys was an issue. The other issue is as I’m opening the door there’s a cabinet that’s literally blocking me from the door opening all the way open. And the sheets was stained.
