Reviews
The Kixby Hotel is generally well-liked for its central location, friendly staff, and clean rooms. However, some guests have complained about noise and small room sizes.

This hotel is in a great location and my room was very nice. I loved the free coffee and the water machine that offered multiple flavors and sparkling/non sparkling options. The staff was also very friendly. My only complaint is the view I had from my room. I understand there weren’t any great views from this hotel based on its location, but mine was really bad as it overlooked an interior courtyard that housed equipment. Also because it’s so close to other sides of the building, there was absolutely no natural light that came into my room which was a shame because it was sunny every day. I would stay at this hotel again if I was in a different room.
- 4/5
Also stayed here 2 years ago but the property looked tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff were excellent and very helpful and it's in an ideal location.
- 5/5
beautiful rooftop view of the empire state building. closer than you would think!
- 5/5
Great Location..!!! Friendly, Genuine,Helpful Staff..!!!
- 4/5
Nice large rooms, all was great except the shower drain was not cleared when we asked them to do so.
- 4.5/5
Clean-most important, staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Easy access to subway. We had outside wall room with a lot of street noise and rooftop bar noise. Elevators were sub par. Confusing on how to use. Especially the rooftop bar access. Wait too long for elevator.
- 5/5
Clean, beautiful room. Lovely staff.
- 4.5/5
Service from the moment we got there was excellent, the rooms were surprisingly larger than what you get these days for a boutique style hotel especially in NY, location was great. While the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was a little on the tight side.
- 1/5
No coffee twice at 7.30 ish at their drinks station Rooms are very small we had king lux and bed stuck out so we walked into the bed every day several times as it was tight for space The lifts never worked fully. Most of the time only 1 lift out of the two lifts were working and often they were being used by house keeping. Go to room at 4pm one day and housekeeping we’re in at that time so had to wait 20 plus mins to get in room n change when we had reservations that night Raised issues with reception a gentleman called Jay had an answer to everything but no apology just talked over you. Found him to be very rude and disrespectful Smoking is allowed straight outside the door so had to walk through smoke every time going in or out of the hotel Roof top bar was closed twice during stay for private events On the first night we arrival the music was on until 1am which you could hear banging in room 5 floors below I would 100% consider another hotel for the price we paid it was very disappointing
- 5/5
The train is 1/2 a block away and connects to so many parts of the city Rooms looks recently renovated, very clean and plush bedding, AC was very strong, rooftop is a must see and guests have access to it 24/7 Would stay here again in a Manhattan minute!!
- 4/5
Elevator didn't work. Otherwise great!
- 5/5
Great location for us. Enjoyed the rooftop bar view of Empire State. The room (queen/queen) was a good size and the bathroom was big with good water pressure in the shower. Liked that coffee/ice/water was readily available. The staff we spoke to were all very friendly. Only downside was one elevator was out of action for some of our visit
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time in New York and Kixby Hotel did not disappoint. It’s our 2nd visit and the staff are so helpful and obliging. The reception staff are the most friendly and professional and deserve a shout out!
- 5/5
Very helpful staff! Hotel was central to major sites and the subway. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The room was very nice! The staff was very friendly. WE appreciated the ammenities and the water bottles given upon arrival. We didn't participate in the breakfast. The location was very nice. It was possible to get to a substation quickly and closeby attractions.
- 4/5
Very clean, free coffee and water are provided and close to subway. Take ear plugs because it is very loud.
- 5/5
Great staff and location
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean and spacious (we had two queens). I appreciated being able to easy get drinks and coffee throughout the day. Staff were all very friendly and the location was nice and central. Would definitely stay here again!

Super clean super friendly good location
- 5/5
This was a great find in Midtown. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, the location was perfect - close to lots of things - and the room was very nice and quite large. The rooftop bar was a great plus as well and directly across the street was a very good Mediterranean restaurant.

The roof top patio bar & restaurant. Location. Breakfast ends too early (on a Saturday morning). I got there at 9:45am and they were already breaking down the Breakfast.

Great location, rooms a little small but well maintained. Great hotel and close to everything.

- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was so kind and courteous and helpful. Everyone there is very attentive and our stay was great. Zero complaints
- 5/5
Room was lovely, air con was really good as the temperature was 33 degrees, they give you a bottle so you fill up with water, staff were really helpful, will definitely go back.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and service! Highly recommended
- 5/5
Great hotel, the staff was wonderful and the amenities and location to all the sights were great. Will definitely be staying again.
- 4/5
The room very clean. The resort fee a bit high for the facilities and amnesties offered.
- 5/5
Great location to subway. Staff were very friendly. Room was spacious and clean
- 5/5
We had a very clean and quiet room - hard to get in NYC, the quiet that is. The staff were very helpful. Highly recommended
- 5/5
Excellent location, close to Penn Station, Macy's, major transportation. The usual New York street noise, otherwise quiet. Staff friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
This property was clean, quiet, well-maintained, and in a great location. The reusable water bottles and cold water were so nice to have while walking around the city. The umbrella in the room was especially helpful during our rainy stay.
- 4/5
Yes it was clean enough. But my knees were against the wall when using toilet. And I’m 5’1. Mattress not firm but pillows were comfy. Towels clean but getting worn out. Loved the aura of place and great location!
- 5/5
This was our second time staying at Kixby…that kinda says it all really! We absolutely love this hotel, great location, helpful and courteous staff, great ambience, good sized room, and that fabulous view of the Empire State Building from the rooftop bar!! When we return to NYC this will be where we be staying.
- 4/5
Great location, good amenities, reasonable rooms, nice staff - a very decent choice.
- 5/5
Clean cozy room, friendly staff, no issues.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. In short, everything just worked. It was easy. Location is amazing, subway right outside the front door. And the price was...well...incredible for NY...in a good way! If you want a fantastic boutique hotel, look no further than the Kixby!
- 5/5
I loved everything about the Kixby. My quiet room on second floor was exactly what I wanted. Slept late one morning and housekeeping kindly came back in the afternoon. I will definitely be back.

- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience at the Kixby! We came to New York as a celebration of our engagement, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. Great location and the kindest staff. We will definitely be back in the future!
- 5/5
Great place. amazing location..
- 5/5
I just love this place! The staff is fantastic, the rooms are clean and larger than most NYC hotel rooms. Everything is just great!
- 5/5
And I've stayed at the Waldorf, Hyatt, Marriott and other smaller hotels. The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was fresh, coffee was great. location perfect, staff extra helpful roof top bar and seating area is stunning. And the price is very competitive and reasonable. I will definitely come back
- 5/5
I stayed at Kixby Hotel because of its convenient location & walking distance to office. It's close to subway stations, many shops & restaurants.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved the restaurant/bar on the rooftop. Had great views, food, and service. Would definitely prefer a bigger bathroom though.
- 3/5
It was fine. Elevators a little annoying as I was in the PH 2 and had trouble getting there several times. My thermostat was also out of battery the first night and I was unable to adjust the temp and was a little uncomfortable, but it was tended to immediately the following morning.
- 5/5
A perfect hotel for our stay - would definitely recommend and would stay again. Great location, comfy rooms and big bed! Rooftop bar was fabulous - small and bougie - and such a fantastic base for 5 days of NYC fun :-)
- 4/5
Wonderful location and great staff and amenities. We stayed 2 nights at the penthouse floor and despite the height, it was quite noisy and difficult to sleep. Sound isolation can be improved. All the rest was better than expected 👍😊
- 5/5
The sparkling water. The quiet. Easy walk to my destination in time square. Downstairs staff was very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at the Kixby! The lobby is warm, clean, and smells amazing upon arrival. Check-in was fast and simple and the amenities like the water bottle, fountain, and dry-cleaning services were very convenient. With a subway station and several close by restaurants, we’d stay here again without hesitation!
- 4/5
Good stay great location
- 5/5

- 5/5
Wonderful stay!! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Always an elevator when we needed one. It’s also a great location in NYC.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent, staff super friendly and helpful. Location great for all local attractions. Room great size and amenities included, bed was so comfortable. Overall perfect hotel for our stay.
- 5/5
I stay for extended periods (10-14 days) and it’s always a pleasure ;)
- 5/5

- 5/5
We love this hotel.
- 3/5
Like all hotels these days, they added an extra fee……claiming it was for snacks served in the afternoon, while most guests are away and for a “complimentary” water bottle made of clear glass with an enormous WOODEN top. What?
- 4/5
Great location in terms of subway and landmarks like Empire State Building and Rockefeller. Staff were friendly and helpful. Compared to the other hotels I stayed at this room is very small, and at the same price point means questionable value for money. The shower wasn't great either.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy check in and check out. Great location. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
A great place to stay. Terrific helpful staff. Great room, great location.
- 5/5
Comfortable room and convenient to everything we had going on
- 5/5
Restaurant adjacent to hotel has a full bar. Burgers and sandwiches were really good. Location is excellent, really close to Empire State Building and Macy's store. Also, it is close to the subway station.

Had a great experience. Property was super clean. Location is amazing! Beds are comfy. It is a clean, nice hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay there again. The fitness facility was a little small - but when in NYC you can just run or walk! They do have some free weights which is great

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and great location!
- 5/5
Great location! Staff friendly and service is excellent. We received Kixby water bottles at check in to use in their convenience room where you have access to water dispensers and coffee 24/7. Would definitely stay again.

- 5/5
This is a really great hotel centrally located in Midtown. Room was clean and the bathrooms are really nice. Management and staff are in frequent contact. I’ll definitely be back.
- 5/5
Bar offered a good selection only issue was sometimes unable to get a table for houseguests
- 5/5
The location is perfect to most of places you want to visit in NYC. The room is also clean, they also provide you with a water bottle on your stay, it really help us save on our water budget.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing. The water machine was top class. Every staff member was incredible. Very centrally located with the subway being very close a walking was comfortable in every direction. Perfect stay for us and we will be back.
- 4/5
This is a reasonably priced hotel in extremely well located hotel near buses and subway. Rooms are small. Except for a few chairs in the lobby there is no place to gather with friends. The staff were outstanding. When I needed help with a minor concern, they immediately sent a staff person to my room.
- 5/5
Tolle Lage, super nettes Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!
- 5/5
Great location. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were professional and gracious. Guest lounge was an unexpected plus!
- 5/5
Clean room, great location but very noisy, don’t think the windows were sound proof/resistant. Lots of construction in the area so I might have just caught it at a bad time. Wouldn’t deter me from staying again.
- 5/5
Queen room was beautiful but small (though I was traveling with a friend who had a larger Queen room). Lovely staff, lobby, and rooftop.
- 4/5
Good hotel, in a great Manhattan location. The standard room was on the small side, but then again that’s typical for a NYC midtown hotel. Overall we had a great stay.
- 4/5
The food from the adjacent Black Tap was fantastic! A highlight! The low lights were ice machine only on the second floor and the huge bug in my shower. (It was just once and they took care of it!)
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly helpful and kind! Shoutout to Jay for going above and beyond. Location is excellent.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I got there a few hours before my check in time to drop my bags. They let me check in early and upgraded my room. The room was so awesome and clean! The location was perfect and right by the subway. I would definitely stay here again - I was sad to leave! The staff was incredible and kind and went above and beyond for a seamless guest experience.

- 5/5
Excellent hotel, clean, friendly staff
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and quiet and location was perfect (near multiple subway lines, walking from Penn Station in case you take the train in from Newark Airport). I was really happy with this selection.

better than I expected, nice staff, room is nice, good amenities, would definitely come back, my favorite hotel in NY so far
- 5/5
Loved staying there!

- 5/5
Great location so you can just walk from Penn Station and the subway is right there too.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was great the WiFi was excellent and very clean.
- 5/5
What a cute hotel! Great location near midtown. The hotel is decorated is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Such a nice touch that they give you reusable water bottles for your stay and that there’s a convenience room 24/7 with water, coffee and tea. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I would very go stay here again but would ask for a room not on the street side as the sanitation collection overnight was very loud. That’s obviously not the hotel’s fault, but upon booking I would ask. There’s also a rooftop terrace with a bar during the season.
- 5/5
I never leave reviews but the Kixby was so great, I wanted to write in. The staff went above and beyond, and texted me to make sure things were good each day! The rooms were perfect with awesome showers and lots of plugs for electronics etc. I had two separate employees come up on their own to help and suggest restaurants and transportation. Very clean and quiet too, which is sometimes hard to come by in the city. Fantastic hotel!
- 5/5
Convenient location to restaurants and train station.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with a good shower. The WiFi is a bit spotty. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good location.
- 5/5
Highly recommend the Kixby!

Very nice staff and the room was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Didn’t need/use parking, WiFi was good, room clean and warm.
- 5/5
Great location. Great staff.
- 5/5
This was a lovely hotel walking distance from Penn Station. There are restaurants nearby and fun shopping. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We would be happy to stay here again.
- 5/5
One thing that really stood out to me was how clean everything was, especially the room. It wasn’t just surface-level tidy—it felt fresh, well cared for, and thoughtfully maintained. The linens were crisp, the bathroom spotless, and even the small details, like the floors and surfaces, were immaculate. That level of cleanliness made it easy to fully relax and enjoy the stay. The location is another huge plus. I didn’t have to catch any transportation to enjoy Manhattan! The subway is also steps away whenever I wanted to explore even more of NY. And I can’t forget the water station—I loved being able to grab cold, fruit-infused water whenever I wanted. It was such a small touch, but it made a big difference. At this point, the Kixby has become my go-to whenever I’m in New York City!
- 5/5
It was fine
- 5/5
This hotel was in a great location, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was super cute and had everything we needed! I would stay here again!
- 5/5
Such a beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Will be back.
- 3/5
Clean room but bed is extremely soft and uncomfortable. Quieter on higher levels but very limited amenities - no slippers or body lotion. Conveniently located in Midtown, steps away from public transport. Resort fee is for access to water station and a peloton bike lol - wouldn’t stay again.
- 5/5
The staff were delightful; I got a free upgrade to a family suite. I'm not a city person but this hotel made me want to come back to NYC!
- 5/5
Very nice mid town location with access to lots of great sites and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and the room was great.
- 5/5
Great staff and very walkable location
- 2/5
Would love to get a refund! And will not stay at this property in the future.
- 5/5
I truly can’t tell you how good this place is….because I want it to stay a hidden gem. But then again I want them to be successful so go… but tell them I sent you. :)

This hotel is conveniently located in midtown and accessible to the other Burroughs! The staff is friendly and courteous, especially Saul who went out of his way to accommodate a special need!
- 4/5
Location for shopping. Coffee room. Good showers. Price is high. For the same price you would have an amazing 5* in London. Previous guest set an alarm for 6am and staff didn't reset it. It woke me up on my day off. Room is rather small. Bar was closed. Noisy air con in the room. I had to switch it off completely for the night as it was unbearable.
- 5/5
Great location, v close to maceys, 10 min walk to times square. 3 mins to subway system. Fabulous staff, clean hotel with all you need for a NYC stay. Perfect.

This was our third stay at the Kixby. It is an absolutely lovely small hotel with great rooms, staff and amenities. The location is terrific and accessible to the whole city.
- 5/5
Room was perfectly clean, staff very friendly and helpful, as soon as we arrived the lady on the desk offered advice, maps, recommendations and provided lots of info which was very helpful.

This room was cancelled one mi th prior and they never complied and now barging me even though I cancelled. Got a huge run around. Nobody taking responsibility. Never should you book this hotel as they do not comply with basic cancellation.

- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel for anyone going to NYC for a trip.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Room was clean comfortable and a good size for city centre. Little luxuries included (robes, toiletries, umbrella, hair dryer, unlimited hot drinks). Brilliant location for sight seeing and easy for subway access. Black tap bar & restaurant was reasonably priced and good quality. Would definitely return. Excellent value for money!
- 5/5
I wound up ding taken to the hospital. Jose carefully collected my belongings and stored them for me. When it was possible to transfer the belongings to the hospital, Jose had a company with a fantastic price for the job. Can’t thank them enough for the extra effort.
- 5/5
Service, cleanliness, clever mixture of turn of the century and machine age decor. The nicest staff, accommodating.
- 5/5
Favorite stay in NYC! Staff is kind and accommodating. Perfect location and surprisingly quiet! Beds are so comfortable too.

Great staff - polite and friendly. Great location for exploring NYc & clean rooms!! Great amenities as well

Their resort fees, aka junk fees should be illegal. Legislation is forthcoming to do that. They add $30& for each nite for ordinary services such as WiFi, water & coffee. To prevent guests being blindsided by these surprise fees, they should be transparent in the marketing before reservation is purchased.
- 5/5
Very comfortable room, pleasant staff. Convenient location
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, clean, great service and room was really nice. Jay at front desk was so accommodating to make sure our stay was amazing.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Perfectly located. Very clean and friendly staff!! Would definitely recommend!!
- 5/5
Possibly the best value for a basic, clean, modern hotel room I've found in midtown. The room is the usual NY small affair but the bathroom is quite nice. The main attraction is the outstanding midtown location, ez walk to everything one comes there for
- 5/5
The keurig machine in the room was the icing on the cake!!!
- 5/5
Large, spacious room, very clean, staff especially Jose and Grace were friendly and particularly helpful. Housekeeping put clean sheets on the bed daily!!. Great place to stay at a reasonable price

Yes they do an amazing job
- 5/5
Lots of nice amenities like an umbrella in the closet, lots of plugs, a fridge. At $22.50, breakfast was outrageously expensive. Cheap bagels, sugary muffins, and outlets in the breakfast room that didn’t work. I’d take some of the tables and chairs away and put a few comfy sofas.
- 4/5
The room was spacious & well equipped. Bed & bedding very comfortable. Clean & tidy.
- 4/5
Friendly helpful staff

Refreshed hotel in koreatown

The bed was terrible.
- 5/5
From front desk to restaurant to cleaning staff...courteous, helpful, efficient. A pleasure to stay again.
- 5/5
The room is wonderful! The staff was awesome especially considering they were working on Christmas! The room had nice amenities such as a robe, the shampoo was really nice and upscale, loved the water bottle and free flavored water in the lounge. There is also a restaurant attached that you can order from and pick up food if you’re super tired from a day of walking! And it’s nicely located within walking distance to so many things and within steps of the subway. Loved it!!
- 5/5
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.

A lot of noise my time in early morning from construction and other noises from outside traffic, good that stuff provided earplugs on request.

Clean room, great location. Nice touch with the 24 hour coffee bar. 4 stars because the bed could be a little more comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again as it checked all our needs for one night in NYC.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and cleaned every day
- 3/5
Rooms were very clean and updated however, the refrigerator did not work and had to be repaired. A few things that would be beneficial to guests: water and ice on each floor, coffee on each floor, a mirror in the room other than the bathroom, and a microwave. The hotel offers coffee and water on the 2nd floor only, which isn’t convenient if you aren’t staying on that floor. When getting ready for the day, two people had to share one mirror in the bathroom while there could have been a mirror placed in the room as well. The hotel bar was ok but nothing fancy and they didn’t have many options when it came to liquors or beers. The bartender would have to run back and forth between the hotel bar and restaurant attached to the hotel in order to get drinks or food. The staff were very friendly.

It was a beautiful hotel...
- 5/5
It was a beautiful hotel and very comfortable.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed it and would absolutely stay there again.
- 5/5
A clean warm room well equipped with all amenities. Helpful staff that could not do enough for us, Jose went out of his way to ensure our stay was first class! We will be returning and staying in Kixby
- 1/5
In the morning they offered us new rooms. They were available the previous evening but in the morning, they said they would be better. We complain to management and they basically said too bad for the money you’re spending in New York City. There are literally hundreds of better options.
- 5/5
The room was easily the best I’ve stayed at in NYC if you’re not able to spend a small fortune to do so. Based on the room and amenities, I’d call this a relative bargain.
- 5/5
Room and service was better and the location is awesome.
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Excellent location. Large, quiet, clean rooms. Water refilling stations and coffee available. Wonderful staff.
- 4/5
Front desk staff were very congenial and helpful. The room was lovely: they adopted a good design that makes rooms feel kind of homey, more like residences than corporate properties. They're small but not cramped, and they're efficient without being austere. Beware, though: The cocktail bar off the lobby is a crashing disappointment. I had one of the worst drinks I've had in my adult life. Unforgivably bad, and not cheap. Worse than an airport cocktail, like cough syrup. Avoid! Otherwise, this hotel was a lovely haven. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Wonderfully well located.
- 3/5
Room was small for the price. Lobby was cozy. Walking distance to Macy’s. Found street parking on a Saturday night, Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Great place. Close to everything! Clean. Nice staff. Great extras
- 5/5
Great hotel. Loved the espresso machine! Walkable to everything!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great staff, extremely easy access to the subway and walking distance to most highlights. We had an awesome stay!
- 5/5
Our experience at the Kirby was absolutely first class...the staff is professional, friendly, and attentive, the property is well maintained and updated, and our room exceeded expectations - immaculate condition, larger than most in NYC, with a great bathroom and shower (outstanding water pressure) and a perfectly working heating/cooling system. The location is great - short walk to subway station, Bryant Park, Hudson Yard, and great restaurants. I am not a fan of NYC hotels due to tiny rooms and typically poor bathrooms. The Kirby is my new 'go to'. Mine was a 5-star experience!
- 4.5/5
Great location, friendly staff and spacious room!
- 5/5
I did not have breakfast but enjoyed the 2nd floor services, coffee, water and the water bottles!
- 5/5
Continental breakfast only but lots of food choices close y
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Great location.
- 3/5
In addition, the bar area was closed and you are not allowed to have food or drink in the lobby so the only place you could have coffee or a drink was in your room, which is pretty sparsely furnished. There is a “convenience room” with free coffee and water. That is probably the only thing making this a 3 and not a 2. Probably would not recommend and probably would not stay there again if the roof bar and lobby area are closed.

- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel in the best location. Room was beautiful and spacious and the staff was lovely and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Weekend trip with my daughter for her birthday. Hotel was clean, well taken care of, and convenient for shopping and all that NYC has for Christmas viewing. More than that the staff was exceptional. Upon hearing it was her birthday a box of chocolates and handwritten note were delivered to our room. The unexpected surprise really made her day.
- 4/5
Staff was very attentive. Room very clean. Loved the 2nd floor room with beverages. Overall a great experience.
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast
- 5/5
Well located boutique hotel with a very professional staff. My room was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay at the Kixby.
- 5/5
Wondering staff and prime location.
- 5/5
The staff were lovely, room excellent, and amenities great. I look forward to returning in the warm weather when the roof bar is open.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the noise. I had a room facing 35th street and between the garbage being picked up at 1:00 a.m along the street and cars honking all night among other noises it was not a pleasant sleep.
- 4/5
Room was spotless. Staff was very courteous
- 5/5
Excellent property. Great location. And helpful, friendly staff
- 3/5
The room was quite small and very noisy at night, which affected my sleep. I was also unexpectedly woken up by an alarm that had been set by the previous guest. Overall, the price was high compared to the limited services provided.
- 5/5
Excellent value. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Room facing internal courtyard was very quiet
- 5/5
The location was amazing - a block away from Macy's on 34th street! The staff was absolutely wonderful, always greeting us, offering to take our photos when we were snapping selfies in front of the Christmas decor in the lobby, or heating up food for us when our pizza we got next door was cold. They were so kind, warm and friendly. The room was very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Check-in was very welcoming, easy and lived the added gift of a water bottle that can be refilled anytime in the amenities room. Our rooms were spotless, and well stocked. I would love more room for unpacking or storing suitcases. Staff were very friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.
- 5/5
Staff were very nice, location was great!! Love the water bottles with the water refilling station...I will stay again
- 5/5
Great location, lovely facility and great service. 2nd staying here.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great location for visiting sites in midtown.
- 5/5
Great location- nice rooms, friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was clean, easy check-in and check-out, nice bathroom. Nothing over the top, but a comfortable room in a good location in Herald Square.
- 5/5
Didn’t do breakfast at the hotel but was very convenient to everything very clean and staff was very nice and pleasant even provided snacks would visit again
- 5/5
Clean room, the staff surprised me about my request. Very happy with the overall experience. The location of the hotel is outstanding. Nothing to complain.
- 5/5
Got upgraded (free) to penthouse and enjoyed rooftop access to skyline and quiet room! Shower was a little tricky but honestly this was fantastic Stowed my suitcase to shop etc my checkout day and quick, clear directions to penn station and airport
- 5/5
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, cool decor, fun bar, and great location!
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Staff offers luggage storage. Room and bathrooms are spacious. They also offer a water bottle with free refills of filtered water or sparkling water in various flavors. It was a really nice gesture.
- 4/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful, we will definitely be back
- 5/5
Great room
- 5/5
The staff were very nice and welcoming! They gave us recommendations since we did travel during early November! The room was clean and they were very attentive when it came to housekeeping! It was in a great location walking distance from just about everything and very easy to get to the stations! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
- 5/5
Room was a great size for New York! Very pleased. Beds super comfortable. Just a really cute hotel, great location. Zero complaints, would definitely stay here in a heartbeat.
- 4/5
Overall a good experience. The hotel location is ideal for walking around the city; it was easy and convenient. There is a subway station on the corner by the hotel. I called to request early check in and was told no problem. When I arrived to the hotel at 1:30pm I learned that check in before 4pm is a $50 fee, so I opted to leave my luggage there and check in later. They did let us check in at 3pm for no charge which was nice. The beds are very firm and not the most comfortable mattress. There are no blackout shades which made sleep difficult if you prefer a dark environment. I wore ear plugs to drown out the noise from the city. The room was not exceptionally loud but you will definitely hear honking, sirens and construction late into the night. They give you complimentary water bottles at checkout and have a water filling and coffee station on the 2nd floor which is nice. However, the coffee machine was broken one day which was annoying. Staff were all very nice but when I requested extra pillows to my room I got questioned by a manager who (I think) suspected I was trying to sneak extra people into my room. I just sleep with extra pillows which I don’t think is too big of a request. Overall, would I stay at this hotel again: yes. Was it my favorite hotel stay: no. They could make some improvements.
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and polite. Room was clean as well as the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
All staff we met was excellent from front desk staff to maintenance staff, very attentive, kind, and helpful. Room was clean and nice feel to it. Their convenience room has a nice espresso and water dispensing machines for all water/coffee tastes out there, which was extra. Their roof top has a great night scene and you can see the empire state building very close.
- 5/5
Helpful staff, nice room. Really liked the coffee/water/ice room.
- 5/5
Staff were very attentive. Rooms were clean, towels were fluffy and absorbent. Great location- walkable to Grand Central, Subway at the end of the block.
- 5/5
Clean room; good location
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in excellent location! Room was clean and beds comfortable. We hope to come back in warmer weather when rooftop bar is open - the views are awesome!
- 5/5
Loved our stay location was excellent.
- 5/5
Amazing Staff! The property is cute and clean!
- 5/5
Je recommande
- 3/5
The rooms are small. The furnace was extremely noisy keeping us up. Our windows looked out on to a roof top. The location was excellent and cost was a fair price for room.
- 5/5
Excellent service and amenities
- 4/5
Friendly and accommodating staff
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Brilliant hotel. Location etc
- 5/5
Very clean and cozy hotel. Nice staff. Excellent location in the heart of Manhattan.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel
- 5/5
Large bathroom for NYC. CLEAN. Roof is charming with great view just to sit and sip coffee. No service during this time of year. Mid Nov. Plenty of nearby spots
- 4/5
Amazing location, clean and quiet. Friendly and courteous staff.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at The Kixby Hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and we were upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise. Early check-in is available for a fee, which made our arrival smooth and convenient. The amenities were excellent, and the rooftop lounge offered stunning views of the city. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit!
- 5/5
Hotel is an Easy Walk to Midtown & Upper Downtown Manhattan. Rooms were Comfortable and not too small. There's a Roof Bar called Look Up with a Great View of the Empire State Building. I live 1 Hour away in Connecticut, and I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Spacious clean room, good shower, comfortable chairs, phone charge points, tea and coffee. Very central location - near penn station and subway stations at herald sq. Secure storage for bags if early. Very helpful. Lift to all floors. Printer for airline checkin. Perfect.
- 5/5
The room was fabulous, spacious and very clean. Location was awesome - right across from Macy’s. Stayed here to attend a concert at MSG and it worked out perfectly for us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate re-booking.
- 5/5
Stay HERE!! Excellent everything!
- 5/5
The Kixby is perfect if you’re planning to do a lot of touristy things in NYC - it’s close the Time Square, Penn Station, 5th Avenue and within steps from the train. I would stay here again
- 4/5
Very convenient and clean hotel right in the heart of Koreatown.
- 5/5
Yes great
- 5/5
We arrived early and happily paid $75 for early check in because we did not want to wait until 4pm for check in. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily which is nice because I feel like most hotel these days don't do it everyday. I do wish the rooftop bar was open during the stay. The rooftop has a nice view of the empire state building. It might be open only during the summer, but I am not sure. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I had a fantastic stay at Kixby Hotel. I was upgraded to a king room and it was a very nice size. The bed was comfortable and shower was a great size with 3 options in the shower. Great water pressure and temp. The front desk at check and check out were excellent. The service I received in the bar was as phenomenal as well. The bartender was super friendly! Would recommend and will stay again. I would suggest asking for an interior room away from the street. And one improvement would be to add black out curtains.

Great hotel, staff, room!
- 5/5
Top notch boutique hotel that smelled amazing. Lovely room and amenities. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Lots of New York charm. Space was cozy, clean and well cared for. In a city of millions, we were treated as special individuals.

- 5/5
The staff is great, the hotel is very nice. The rooms are very comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent location, beautiful appointments, exceptional service. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. Several nice touches- a refillable water bottle and a convenience room with several water options to refill. Very nicely appointed and clean. An enthusiastic 10 out of 10!
- 5/5
Very large rooms for NYC standards
- 3/5
Wifi signal strength was poor throughout the duration of my stay
- 3/5
My room was located between the maids closet and faced 35th street. While the room was very clean, it was small, the shower especially tight, and the noise was not ideal for getting a full night’s rest. Kixby should leave earplugs in the rooms! I liked the free reusable water bottle and 2nd floor water, ice, and coffee station. Proximity to subway and getting around was fabulous. Also wish the rooftop had been opened since the weather was perfect but alas already closed for the season.
- 5/5
The location was very central and surrounded by great restaurants. The service was excellent. I had a small issue that my room was not as pictured (lacked the promised sitting area) and the hotel was fully booked but the front desk staff did attempt to resolve the issue.
- 5/5
Nice location and super staff. Loved it
- 5/5
I often stay here when in midtown. Great location and service.
- 1/5
I couldn't travel to NYC, so when I did get a notice the night before I was to check in, I tried to cancel the reservation and Expedia said I needed to contact the hotel directly. I understand that I was supposed to cancel by the 22nd, but I also NEVER received another confirmation or reminder beside the original reservation.

Great hotel and great staff. Very clean. Beds were ok… could use a refresh.
- 5/5
Nice, clean, nice staff, great location.

- 5/5
Great location, excellent staff, modern and clean room. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Very quiet and our handicap room was just what we needed.
- 4/5
A Hair dryer, umbrella, dressing gown and Iron were placed in walk-in wardrobe for our use and a safe for valuables. Check-in was comprehensive and we were given a free water bottle each that we could use and take away. On the second floor at the top of the stairs there are water coolers and coffee in addition to what's in the room. We were also given vouchers to a glass of Prosecco each in the lobby bar brtween 5-7pm. The best thing we liked was its in a central location. There are a few bars ans restaurants and fast food places with 5 mins walk away. Its a block (5mins) walk from The Empire state building and 3 mins from Macy's and a subway within a few mins. Broadway and Times Sq are about 15mins walk. You can have a great view of the Empire State building from the roof terrace at night. All in all the hotel was in a really good location, and my only downside was its noisy as the trash trucks are around at 1-1.30am and again about 4am plus any emergency vehicles that seems very regular and the room windows blinds onto 35th st let in alot of light. All in all a really good choice for mid-town Mahattan.
- 5/5
Our overnight stay in Manhattan was great but what made it even better was our stay at the Kixby Hotel! Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I loved the multiple shower heads and the water was nice and hot. The staff/service was excellent. I will recommend the Kixby to my family and friends. The next time we are in Manhattan the Kixby is my top choice!
- 5/5
Perfect location for exploring the city. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Great experience from check in with Grace and Jay. They were amazing. Grace gave us all the information for a wonderful stay. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. We highly recommend.
- 5/5
Recently refurbished and clean as a whistle, plus large rooms for NYC, comfortable beds, and a fabulous shower. We were pleasantly surprised by the Kixby and would stay there again. Can’t beat the proximity to Penn Station, Bryant Park, and the theater district.
- 5/5
Wet friendly staff who check-in with you during your stay to ensure your comfort; clean rooms, nice dining options!
- 5/5
First time at a small boutique hotel and was very impressed. Short walk to Macy’s and a great restaurant Gaia across the street.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful, location of the hotel was great. Very central to most things in NYC, and just steps from the subway. Bar was nice, too. The room was small, but still comfortable. We went on an particularly expensive weekend (sept 19-22)
- 3/5
Everything about the hotel is first class but I could only give three stars due to the ridiculous service fee. At $32 dollars a night. I stayed there with family in three rooms for five nights and therefore was charged $450 for what was essentially four plastic water bottles. Whilst the hotel says it's also for tea, coffee, water, gym etc. I consider these to be standard hotel facilities and no reason to incur a further charge.
- 5/5
It was a great stay, super clean, and everyone was as super nice and helpful! I recommend !
- 5/5
Such a fun and comfortable hotel. But room service needs to be added and the elevators fixed.
- 5/5
The hotel is charming and beautiful! The staff were attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Good stay
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, rooms were large and stylish and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the water/coffee room was a nice touch. Great location for 5th Av, Broadway etc Unfortunately we suffered with noise from the street, the windows are not well insulated and traffic/building work was noticeable from 5am every morning so ear plugs were a must. The AC was powerful but also v noisy
- 5/5
The room was large and clean. Staff was polite and attentive. Prosecco at check in was a lovely touch.
- 5/5
Quick check-in, with a complimentary glass of prosecco in the bar! The room was a nice size, spotless, and maintained daily with fresh towels, etc. While Midtown is not my favorite area stay, I would definitely recommend this option!
- 5/5
The hotel was an ideal base for a holiday in New York. Great location, good transport links and staff were pleasant and professional. The convenience room, providing fresh cold drinking water and coffee was a great addition.
- 4.5/5
I've stayed at the Kixby before, and one of the reasons is its location -- an easy walk to Amtrak and subway lines. Perfect for midtown business or touring. The rooms are spacious by NYC norms, and very classy decor, including enough lighting for working at desk. The rooftop bar (when open in summer) is stunning. The amenities of free espresso and water drinks in the pantry is an added bonus. Located in the heart of K-town. The bathroom shower was excellent with its rain shower fixture. Very nice added touch. I'm a fitness person, and like to work out when traveling, the fitness room is small, and OK, but lacks some basic weight lifting machines that could make it more useful. There are only 5-50 lbs barbells and one bench to use, with three bikes/ treadmill. Luckily I was the only person in the room at the time of my workout. It could use some multiple functional weight machines for chest, shoulders and arms. The other suggestion is maybe a small mini refrigerator in the room for storing some drinks and snacks (and left over dinners). There was plenty of room in the clothing closet to hide it there.
- 3/5
El hotel estaba muy limpio y todo pero no me gustó que no pudimos descansar las puertas suenan demasiado y se siente como si estuvieran tocandolas y habriendola.
- 4/5
Beautiful modern rooms with with nice furnature, bedding, towels and soaps. On site restaurant and a cozy bar. Food of all types within walking distance. The subway was just down the block making it really convenient to use. The only thing I would suggest to the hotel is to add window curtains to block out the light from the hotel sign and to help drown out the busy streets at night. The blinds are nice but didn't do enough with the lighted sign outside. I would happily recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and modern. However, the owners might want to upgrade the levalor blinds to higher-quality ones, preferably with blackout options like those found in most hotels. Additionally, you are not insulated from the crashing noises of other guests and service staff crashing around outside your room. The elevators felt a bit slow, and we weren't particularly impressed with the hotel food. Luckily, there are many tasty options nearby.
- 5/5
Room was impeccably clean, staff top notch, and the amenities top shelf. We loved the 3 headed shower which was awesome after a day of exploring the city. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Easy to access theater district and everywhere I needed to be on this trip!
- 4/5
Location is central, staff is friendly, and the hotel is modern and clean. The beds were too soft and kept sinking. The room had no blackout curtains, could hear the street noise all night long. They charge a resort fee offering snacks/coffee, but during limited hours only.
- 5/5
clean room, great staff
- 5/5
Well located, close to all the amenities.
- 5/5
Spent two nights at this Koreatown location, convenient to MSG, Moynihan station, Bryant Park & Times Square. Surprised by the little comforts-pantry with afternoon specialty coffees, flavored water, & morning brew. Lux king offered everything we needed, plus courtesy umbrella & robes. Room was quiet, in room fridge & safe appreciated. Do walk around the corner to Pio Bagels!
- 5/5
The incredibly welcoming and professional staff made our stay a pleasure.
- 5/5
The room clean, modern, and surprisingly roomier than advertised. We loved the shower heads.
- 4/5
The staff were lovely and friendly. The location was perfect, very walkable area of the city. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. I liked the bathroom and shower, including an available robe.
- 5/5
Love this area.
- 5/5
Rooftop wonderful but bar closed for season :( Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
Hotel was located near all the highlights we wanted to see in NYC. Very clean and comfortable, with a great restaurant on site. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Will stay again when I go back to NYC.

- 5/5
Comfortable bed, pillows. Great location. Nice roof top
- 4/5
Good location, nice rooftop, spacious room and nice convinence room with water, coffee and so on.

and drive home, vacation cancelled. Kixby was kind enough to refund us. For that I rate them excellent. Will never forget their compassion at this sad time, and hope to stay with them at another time!
- 5/5
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Facilities were excellent and everything was well looked after. Honestly, can’t fault the place – would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New York.
- 5/5
Great location and great staff. Jose was especially kind and helpful with checking my bags. Room was small but quiet and spotless. Very nicely decorated. I slept like a baby.
- 5/5
The hotel is well located, and the room was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. All the staff were friendly, even offering local tips and subway directions. We were on our honeymoon, and the hotel welcomed us with sparkling wine and chocolates. I highly recommend it.
- 4/5
Location great if you want to be in that part of town.
- 4/5
Property is nicely rennovated. Street nois is a bit much. Nice complimentary reusable and refillable water bottles at the hotel. Water refill stations on the 2nd floor. Staff were responsive to our needs.
- 3/5
Clean room; comfortable bed with Frette linens. Some challenges- tiny bathroom (great shower however); AC blowing right over bed; street noise even on 12th floor.
- 5/5
Great hotel in the middle of NYC!

Would recommend

Had a great stay here, the hotel was close to MSG for a concert we were attending and walking distance to multiple dining locations as well as coffee shops.
- 5/5
Great location, quick checkin /out. Second stay here and gets better,
- 5/5
The property is gorgeous and clean inside. Staff was super friendly, rooms were huge for NYC, and so many amenities. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
I like everything about this hotel. Location, rooms, staff. Wish they had a continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Normally a great stay, maintenance issues and front desk clerk not knowing the difference between a king and queen bed, over shadowed this stay.
- 5/5
The service was excellent, the location was so convenient, and the atmosphere was quiet and elegant. Definitely recommend!
- 5/5
The Kixby is an excellent choice for a vist to New York. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated with a modern, well equiped bathroom. Location is perfect, close to Empire State, Bryant Park and Times Square. Subway entrances are numerous, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Very spacious room in the heart of Manhattan! Staff were professional and friendly.
- 5/5
Easy location if going to msg and one of the nicer nore affordable hotels in the area
- 5/5
This was quite a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and there is a wonderful rooftop bar. I would stay here again as the location is quite convenient
- 5/5
Loved the water bottles

This property was in a perfect location. The staff was more than helpful. They were friendly and always greeting you as you entered or were leaving. If we go back this is out place to stay

This was a GREAT location, the hotel was clean and elegant... the staff were friendly and helpful: and the rooftop bar was fun and had snacks. Great view of the Empire State building! The restaurant downstairs had the BEST burgers and great service. We will stay here again, for sure
- 5/5
Great location, staff was very friendly and professional
- 5/5
The only thing that did not satisfy was the loud AC unit.
- 5/5
Perfect location, great staff, awesome amenities!

Good
- 5/5
This hotel was great in so many ways. It’s by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at during my many visits in New York. I liked how close it was to the subway, food and shopping. But overall, the hotel itself is very nice. It is well-maintained, the staff is super nice and the views from the rooftop bar are amazing! I wouldn’t mind making this the one place I stay at every time I come to New York.
- 5/5
Awesome all around! Comfy, premium room. Solid gym. Great bar and food options. Excellent service. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel with outstanding service. Clean, comfortable and the staff were very attentive to our requests. We enjoyed the complimentary snack room with flavored sparkling water available all day, as well as the complimentary drink tickets for the rooftop bar. Highly recommend!
- 3/5
it was just okay. the elevators were crazy if you wanted to go to the roof. very loud street music
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Very clean and new
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again…
- 5/5
Great property. The elevators are slow. No other complaints. Clean and very friendly staff.
- 4/5
Great hotel, lovely staff, and the location is ideal. Unfortunately the aircon was super loud as was the street noise at night so ear plugs are a must. I would still recommend!

Wonderful updated hotel a block from the Empire State Building. Very clean with pleasant and polite staff. All for a reasonable price given its location and accessibility to all things NYC! Will absolutely stay here again my next visit to the city.

Great little boutique style hotel in great location. The $35 per day amenity fee is high as the workout room is small (but has Peloton bikes) and the coffee/tea is standard and self service. The root top deck is not associated with the hotel so you have to buy drinks to be up there. We were on the 4th floor on the street side and it very was noisy all day and night. Trash pick up at 3:30am and construction on the street. The hotel isn’t in control of this but just know if you get a street side room it may be difficult to sleep. Cute hotel, great service when checking in and out. Central location to everything. For the price we would recommend.

Propert was very nice and the staff very pleasant

From the hospitality to the quality of the room to the basic amenities, this is a fabulous hotel. Any staff we interacted with were warm and friendly, great food was available on premises, and a lovely view of the Empire State Building. The neighborhood was also a great location! I would highly recommend, and I will be staying here for all future NY trips!

Excellent hotel in a good location . Rooms were modern, great shower and comfy beds. Only critique is the elevators were slow.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing! Biggest room I’ve ever had in NYC. Bed very comfortable. Room was quiet. An excellent experience.

Bc the bar at Kixby seemed disorganized and the bartenders didn’t know how to make a sidecar. It was hard to get service and it didn’t seem terribly busy. Monarch had fantastic drinks, great bar staff and the atmosphere Eid super trendy and has an anthropology vibe to it. Kixby was great! Would definitely stay again.

I come to New York maybe two or three times a year and usually stay at different hotels. This was my first time at Kixby. I loved how close it was two different subway stations making it easy to go around the city. The room was great, the perfect size for a single traveler like myself and I also enjoyed eating the the black top for dinner. Great burgers. I’m coming back to the city in October and will definitely look at booking here again.

Everything was perfect except for Parking is very expensive and not convenient as being paid separately to garage.
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel provided us with excellent service and for everything they did for us, they did it with a smile on their faces. This was the perfect spot for us. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the attractions we were interested in seeing.

My boyfriend & I stayed here during our weekend getaway. It was such a great experience and will definitely be a return guest.
- 5/5
Kixby was a great bang for the buck. It was centrally located and had a gym that was always accessible. The rooftop bar had some great apps also!
- 5/5
The hotel is so conveniently located. I could easily get to the subway, and there were plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was great. I would stay here again.

An excellent stay all around. Showed up early so they happily stored my luggage for the day until check in. The room was much larger than I anticipated. Fantastic bathroom. Huge closet. My only complaint is that the tv in the room wasn’t a smart tv for me to use my own streaming accounts. But it didn’t really matter for me as I was too busy out and about.

Rooms are good size Staf is great

Really good space for the price in the heart of NYC. I love the convenient water station room (with flavor and sparkling option), specialty coffee machine, and 24hr coffee/tea. Literally steps from the busiest parts of Midtown, so there's options for food and entertainment at any moment and near every mode of public transportation.

The property was great! They were very sweet and changed our room to make our anniversary weekend special. The room was fantastic, clean and decorated well. The bed was so comfortable, especially after walking 30,000+ steps. The location is unbeatable for walk ability or subway access. So easy to get to anywhere in town.

First time at the Kixby but not the last. Lovely room, very clean and with a wonderful bathroom and very comfortable bed and pillows. Especially liked the additional little touches of an umbrella in the room to use during the stay if needed, nice robes and a cute reusable water bottle given for free to fill up at the hotel's water stations, to cut down on use of plastic especially by tourists in the city. Location is great, with both 6th and 5th flanking the hotel on either side with tons of eating options for any meal, not to mention the attached Black on Tap restaurant and the rooftop bar. I've stayed at a lot of different hotels in NYC-I like trying out different places to compare and the Kixby just moved to the top of my list of places I would absolutely book again.

Solo traveled, felt very safe. Staff was super friendly.

Comfortable bed

The room was larger then most place I've stayed in NY and everything was new and clean.

I just didnt need to have my towels changed everyday for a 3 night stay.

Well decorated.

I liked the welcome, the lobby and complimentary offerings. Also liked that the room had no wall to wall carpeting, it had small bedside area rugs. This contributes to the cleanliness, dust free feeling and cuts down on possible allergen levels.

The location of this hotel in mid-town is excellent. It attracts and caters more to European customers as its not part of the common American chains such as the Hilton Garden Inn, or the Hampton Inn next door. The service was great, the beds were comfortable. They have a selection of flavored water and a refillable water bottle they give you at check in. However, since I prepaid for the hotel it was not clear that this "free water bottle" was included in what they charge as a $40 per day facility fee. Although fees are not uncommon when you are staying at a resort, the additional amenities of a a water dispenser were far from a value of $40 per day.

Altogether fantastic.

Nice touches

BEWARE! You book through Expedia at a fixed price, and then they charge you a $32 facilities fee upon check in. Deceptive practices. Stay elsewhere!
- 5/5
Excellent hospitality and nice perks. Clean room. Great choice for being in the center of everything.
- 5/5
A great place to stay. Room was large for NYC, we had two queens on 12th floor. Staff was great, room was clean and bathroom was terrific. Location provides easy access to the subway and is close to a lot of places of interest. Would stay here again.

However for room 204, i couldn’t sleep properly because of the uncomfortable bed (back hurts from that) and the noice coming from the lobby and from the street. We could hear every single car passing.

Good stay..

The room was nice and clean. Great AC as it stayed very cold in our room which we loved. Easy access to several great restaurants and locations in the area. Quick access to the subway just down the street.

Awesome place. I found thing wrong with the property. The rooftop was incredible and the added bar at the top made it top tier. Def would recommend and book with the property again.
- 5/5
Great from the moment we walked in until we left. They gave me a very quiet and spacious room.
- 5/5
This property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff service is impeccable. It is near excellent restaurants, and conveniently located to Herald Square, and Bryant Park and many subway lines.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooftop bar was delightful.

From check in to check out…..faultless…..super friendly, helpful, polite staff. Location absolutely perfect. The adjoining Black Tap was excellent…..good menu & drinks just next door…..after a long day exploring it was perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 10/10

Very spacious and comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. The Black Tap craft beer & burger restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. Roof top terrace gives spectacular views of the Empire State Building. Great location. The staff were excellent. Professional, friendly and very helpful. My room was on 3rd floor overlooking 35th Street therefore noise was an issue (but this is NYC!)as windows were not sound proof. Could also have done with better blinds. Too much light from buildings opposite.
