Reviews
The hotel is in a great location, close to many attractions and with plenty of things to do in a walkable distance. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. However, the rooms are small, and there are issues with the air conditioning in some rooms. Some guests have had negative experiences with the front desk, and the breakfast area can be crowded and noisy.

Overall the breakfast was very good. The hotel had a really good system set up to help with the [people] traffic flow. The location of the hotel was great for us because we didn’t want to be right in Times Square, but it was still central enough that we could walk to Times Square in a few minutes. This hotel is the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in since Covid. It was spotless and housekeeping came in every day and gave us new towels and made up the beds. Our thermostat wouldn’t let us turn the air conditioning down below 68°. Also, there were three of us in the room and there was hardly room to walk around the pull out bed and for our three carry-on sized suitcases. So room sizes are very small and not great if you have more than three people in your family.

We had a very good experience at Hyatt Place New York City. The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of many iconic places, which made it very convenient for us to explore the city as a couple. The room and common areas were very clean, and the breakfast was complete, varied, and served buffet style. The staff was also very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The only areas we would suggest improving are the elevators, which could be more efficient, and adding drawers in the room to make it easier to organize clothing during the stay. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Place Times Square. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. I enjoyed the staff, the speediness of service, and the flexibility of being able to check in a bit earlier. The elevators were quite inconsistent and for the breakfast area a variety of breakfast meats daily would be a great addition. There were many days only one type of breakfast meat was available.

Clean, efficient, excellent breakfast and customer service.
- 3/5
The hotel is in a great location, close to Times Square and many major attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel is a convenient base for exploring New York. I was disappointed by several aspects considering the hotel's brand and price. Charging $6 for a small bottle of water left in the room felt excessive. At that price, I would rather not have it in the room at all. For a Hyatt property, this felt unnecessarily cheap and out of touch with guest expectations. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very weak, and the fixed shower head was not particularly practical. Breakfast was extremely crowded, the elevator queues were often long, and the food selection did not appeal to me. Most options were very sweet, with no fresh or savory choices, they hate vegetables. I was also surprised that breakfast was served almost entirely with disposable plates, cups, and cutlery. In 2026, this felt wasteful and inconsistent with the sustainability efforts many hotels promote. Overall, the breakfast experience fell well below my expectations.

Excellent location. The hotel is within walking distance of Times Square and about a 10-minute walk from Penn Station/Amtrak, making it very convenient for sightseeing and transportation. There are also many restaurants and food options nearby. The room was quite small, and the soundproofing was poor. Despite the high room rate, bottled water was charged at $6 per bottle, which felt excessive. What disappointed me most was the staff attitude. On the morning of June 2, I had a 9:00 AM flight and needed to leave for the airport around 6:30 AM. At approximately 6:25 AM, I went to the breakfast area and politely asked if I could take a few slices of bread for my young child. The breakfast had already been fully set up, but the staff member refused and told me, “We open in five minutes. If you need bread, you can buy some over there.” While I understand that breakfast service had not officially started, I found the response lacking in flexibility and customer care, especially given that it was a simple request for a small child and service was about to begin. Overall, the location is the hotel’s strongest point. However, the room quality, service, and staff attitude did not meet my expectations for the price paid. I would consider other options on my next visit.

The location was very nice and a well maintained property (inside). The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms are smaller than other Hyatt Place's I've stayed, but we were in NY and only for 2 nights! Also, the breakfast was great as usual. We were maybe 2-3 blocks from Time Square (about an 8-10 min walk depending on you). Central park was about a 25 min or less walk, again depending on you.

1. Location is great for Times Square and relatively close to subway stations 2. Breakfast was very good, except for the slight congestion and crowding 3. Staff were courteous and helpful 1. The elevators are a nightmare!! It took 15 to 20 minutes waiting to get down every day! In this day and age, they need a better elevator or a new algorithm to manage the elevator logic better. Not acceptable at all. Imagine dreading going back to the room because you cannot get down again for another 20 mins. 2. Room size and corridor size was small, but maybe that is the norm in NYC 3. Shower better than a Hyatt experience in DC, but even then can be gentler instead of a single harsh speed of the jet
- 3.5/5
"Some" of the stuff were rude and the smell of the sofa was very strong ( as work around we covered it with bed sheet to reduce the sofa fabric smell) The room was a bit dusty
- 4.5/5
Everything! We had 2 rooms and asked to have them close together and away from street noise. It worked out great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Of course they were on the snake side, but typical for NYC. The location was perfect for lots of time spent in Times Square and taking the subway. It was about a 10 minute walk to Port Authority for subway/ bus and 10-15 minute walk to all the Broadway shows we saw. Plus there was a great pizza place just a few steps away and a 7 eleven at the corner where we made MANY stops on the way back for drinks and snacks. The breakfast was great! We enjoyed eating in the cute little terrace area. The staff was super nice. They stored our stuff before check in and after check out so we could make the most of our time and go right out to explore. They even have a ride service (with additional charge) to the airport and had our bags all packed for us in the car by our arranged time! Wonderful place. We would definitely stay there again! The only reason for the 9/10 rating was how crowded the lobby and elevators were, but that's not really the hotel's fault this close to Times Square and over a holiday weekend.
- 3.5/5
All was good but the rooms are little noisy. Anyone passing from the corridor or even the neighbors door opening sound will disturb you. this is renowned hotel and still water bottles are paid and very costly 6 USD for one small bottle
- 5/5
Beautiful place to be in.
- 4/5
Congested but what new york hotel isnt. Staff was really helpful and super friendly
- 3/5
The bathroom is tiny and the shower slippery. There is a smart closet but no drawers for anything else and no room for the luggage. The elevators are not coordinated and it takes ages to find an available one going down in the lower floors. Good location.
- 3/5
Easy 2 - 3 minute walk to Port Authority Station. Neighboring properties place garbage fairly close to entrance so there was a bit of a smell entering/existing hotel. The rooms and corridors are a bit tight but manageable. All staff members we interacted with were quite helpful / accommodating. Complementary breakfast menu is good (Full American Menu options).

Very central location and great breakfast. We had 2 double beds; other than beds there wasn’t much space in the room. We loved the location as walking distance to Time Square, lots of restaurants etc. we booked tickets to see a show via the hotel. Breakfast was good but the area is too small for the amount of people in the hotel Breakfast could have longer, lobby to small
- 3/5
The check in was easy; the breakfast was plentiful; the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel held our bags while we went exploring because we got there before check-in. We had two rooms. One was great--no problems. The 2nd one had a king bed and a pull out, which did not work for the 4 people using it--2 adults and 2 children 6 & 10 years old. The hotel accommodated a move to a different floor to give them 2 double beds. However, the water in the shower was scalding and maintenance had to come to the room to repair that. Then the smoke alarm emitted a high pitch sound and needed to be fixed as well. The maintenance person suggested moving to a third room, but the hotel did not have any more double rooms available (likely because a couple of floors were shut down for renovations.) The hotel did give us 50% off the 2nd room, which was appreciated. Another side note, when we got to the hotel, early, we needed to use the bathroom. One bathroom on the lobby floor was closed off, and the other bathroom was occupied and there was a long line to use it. After about 20 minutes of waiting, we were given a key to go to level C to use those bathrooms. The men's room was fine. The women's room was dirty and had no toilet paper.

The hotel is perfect positioned in Manhattan. The room is not big, but had everything that we need. Our room was on the 25th floor and the view was amazing. The breakfast was good too. We have stayed for 5 nights.
- 1/5
While booking the site showed beautiful city view rooms with extra price which I booked. Extremely disappointed when we checked. None of the hotel rooms have city view. Our room faced a wall and extremely small rooms and bathrooms. Will never visit again .
- 3/5
The staff was great and exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was able to keep my bags there before and after check out. Everyone was happy and attentive. I will say, do not pay extra for the 'city view' that isn't a thing. I went back and inquired and was told I would get a refund on the price difference. I haven't seen it yet, but I do hope I get it because we were literally looking into another persons hotel room.
- 5/5
Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was professional, courteous, and very efficient throughout our stay, which made a great first impression. The room was clean and comfortable, although on the smaller side, but that is pretty much expected for New York City hotels. Breakfast was somewhat basic, with a simple selection of breads, hot items, and fruit options, but it worked perfectly fine for our stay and was convenient to have included. Overall, this hotel offers a great combination of location, efficiency, and value for anyone looking to explore Manhattan and nearby attractions.

The bar had a nice selection of food. We had a quick bite there on the night we arrived. It took a very long time to get our food, but it was good once it arrived. The room was super clean. My only issue with the room was that it was very warm. The A/C went down to 68; however it did not feel like it

Breakfast was easy and good. My family had no issues with services. employees were friendly, room was quiet. The windows opened a litttle for some fresh air. The elevators though there were many, you still had to wait for an elevator often. The hallways are narrow.
- 3.5/5
The 2 double beds room had comfortable beds and washroom was cleaned and staff was nice. Bedroom for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) was small. Breakfast was okay, but for the price you pay the hotel can offer some Nutella for kids, like in small container same as the one they use for butter, so limited breakfast for my kids. The elevators were not working and people were waiting long lines to go to the room and used the stairs to get down. That is unacceptable. That made our experience in this hotel not quite pleasant, so I would choose another hotel when I go back to New York.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place in New York! The hotel overall is a great place to stay. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast—it was amazing and offered so many different varieties every day. The customer service was also excellent. The staff members were incredibly helpful throughout our visit. A special shout-out to Nikita from the luggage team, who was absolutely amazing, as well as another fantastic gentleman on the team who was also so helpful. The only minor downside was that the cleanliness of the entrance lobby floor could have been a bit better, as it didn't look its best during our stay. However, everything else was perfect. We had a great experience overall and highly recommend this hotel!

Location is perfect, close to Time Square and subway. Easy to get everywhere you need. Staff were always friendly and nice. The washroom has an awful door, it’s not possible to close the door fully. No privacy at all. If someone is using it , the rest can hear everything and see through the gap between doors. Especially during the night, if you use washroom, the light is too bright and it’s not possible to get in without turning the light. You pay ~300 for 1 night and they still going to charge you $6 for the simplest small bottle of water.

My stay at this hotel on Friday, May 8th was extremely disappointing from the moment I checked in. The room I received was not the room my friend originally booked for us and it was very small. I politely asked if we could pay for an upgrade and was told there were no larger rooms available. I then asked if I could book an additional room and again was told the hotel was completely sold out. Since it was my daughter’s birthday weekend and her cousins were staying at this hotel, I didn’t want to separate them. I went across the street to another hotel and was advised by a staff member there to check Booking.com. To my surprise, I found multiple rooms available at the same hotel I had just been told was fully booked. I booked another room immediately and returned to the front desk with my reservation number. The same clerk who told me there were no rooms available suddenly had to process the reservation. I remained calm and respectful the entire time and never confronted her about the misinformation. I simply asked if there was a room available on the 10th floor near my family and was immediately told no. The moment I mentioned leaving a review about my experience, I was suddenly told a room on the 10th floor was available. The dishonesty and unwillingness to assist made the entire experience uncomfortable and upsetting. I was never rude or disrespectful, yet I felt dismissed and unwelcome throughout my stay. What was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my daughter ended with me counting down the hours until checkout. Customer service should never make guests feel this uneasy or unwanted

I liked the breakfast and the bedroom was comfortable. Seeing the condition of the lobby furniture and the couch stains have me the fear of wondering what else was this dirty in the facility. The elevator was not efficient. You should split up the elevator floors. The morning time were ridiculously long. Some floors were under the construction that’s why there was so much dust in the air.
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff helpful. Rather than customers having to go to reception and ask for basic toiletries like shower cap, the house keeping staff can be guided to place them in the rooms. The breakfast spread can be improved bh adding bakery items like croissants, small pastries etc for kids.
- 5/5
Overall stay was awesome!! Everything is great, the room is clean, friendly staff and the breakfast is good!!
- 4/5
This room was small the restroom was tiny. Make sure you agree to small spaces 1 king and small pullout sofa.
- 5/5
Quiet stay. My room was very clean and tidy. I rested well without the usual hallway chatter from other hotels. Breakfast was tight.
- 1/5
The hotel is close to everything but the from end staff especially Jami was very rude and disrespectful. The kids loved the breakfast and had a good time tho.
- 4.5/5
Surprisingly high quality breakfast and quiet, comfortable rooms given that it was one of the less expensive options in the area. Very convenient location near the port authority bus terminal. Breakfast area gets very crowded at peak times and it can be tricky to find a seat.
- 4/5
Nice location. Good breakfast options. But very tiny rooms with small bathrooms.
- 1/5
They stole our money and refused to refund
- 5/5
Loved the location. The room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was so nice! Sometimes it took a long time to get an elevator.
- 2/5
Location and breakfast was good The awful smell coming from new wallpaper being done. Headache the entire time and couldn’t sleep from it, plus the noise of the work. The noise I can deal with an appreciate them taking the time for upgrading the hotel but it was still rough. Check in was also a pain
- 0.5/5
I was never returned from money.
- 4/5
Great staff super good breakfast for american hotel and for free!!! Only thing was shower temp only came in freezing for burning
- 4.5/5
The property was very well cleaned and has a big spacious area. Several dining areas and sitting. There were also bathrooms available on the first floor outside rooms near the breakfast area. I did not like they do not have parking discounts or anything although there was no parking available for the hotel itself. I understand its the city and others need their business and all but a 5%-10% would have been nice.
- 4/5
Good stay
- 4/5
Convenient downtown hotel want to great places to eat. More of a European small room experience. Great showers, comfortable bed, and great pillows.
- 5/5
This was a great hotel for a stay with my two kids for a long weekend stay near Broadway theaters for shows. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good but it was crowded so I advise getting there on the early end. The location is convenient but a bit further West that some other hotels in the area. Maybe the cost savings came from that. It is also near Port Authority which made the people outside a little more colorful that closer to Times Square. Overall though, the hotel was a clean and staff was very helpful and friendly and a good price for the location.
- 5/5
Rooms were small but the breakfast was good
- 4/5
Hotel in great location. close to metro. For an American hotel breakfast , quality and choices were 7/10 for being an included in the price breakfast 10/10! Staff was friendly everything was clean. only issue was the shower water. Only choices were scalding hot or freezing. We learned to work around it.
- 4/5
Decent size rooms, cramped reception area. Carpets in lifts could do with upgrading. Great location for midtown attractions
- 2/5
I never leave bad reviews, but I'm pretty sure I was bitten by bed bugs the night I stayed here last week. The room seemed spotless, the linens fresh, but it did smell musty. I chalked it up to old carpet at the time. I woke up a few days later at home with bed bug bites on my neck, which I could not understand because we checked, and we do not have any bed bugs, until the doctor told me the welts often show up 3-4 days after the bite, especially if you've never been bitten before. I developed an allergic reaction and the bites caused a case of lymphangitis--an infection of my lymph nodes--that's been very scary and I'm still under treatment for. I've tried to find a direct email for the hotel to let them know and see what they'll do, but of course all I can find is a 1 800 number for Hyatt of North America. Room 523--avoid. If this hadn't happened, I would have left a good review. The location is great, it's nice to have free breakfast even though it was absolutely mobbed, and the room and bed itself were comfortable. Meanwhile, I'm on several antibiotics, ill, and being monitored for sepsis due to the bites and resulting infection.

Very loud partying, doors slamming, girls laughing and yelling in the hallway until 3:00am. Severly disrupted sleep.
- 5/5
Staff was attentive and professional. Bed comfortable. Room small but storage is good
- 5/5
Staff was great about replacing towels and blankets- super friendly as well.

it would be nice to have some
- 5/5
The only problem was our water did go out in one of our first room but the did give us a new room and gave us one night free
- 2/5
Location was great. But honestly I would not stay here again. I booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed had a paper thin mattress. Super uncomfortable. I ended up putting the mattress on the floor in order to get some sleep. Our room was next to the stairs, too much noise. We got a connecting room and the people next to us made so much noise. The bedroom was extremely small, barely any room to walk and the bathroom same thing. Not happy at all. Not recommended
- 5/5
Room was clean, although the bathroom sink was cracked. Service was excellent. The breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast. Location was cental to our walking needs.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place New York. My daughter was in search for her wedding ceremony and reception gown and we had a day and a half to meet with designers and fly home. Hyatt Place was very accommodating with our luggage while we traveled to bridal shops and even made sure I was able to get a cup of hot water and tea after their kitchen closed for breakfast. Italo was very helpful in assisting with our luggage and transportation to the airport while also offering helpful suggestions.. Everyone went over and beyond their duty to make sure the hotel was clean and tidy throughout the day and to ensure we were taken care of. We felt very special. Thank you again Hyatt Place for such a welcoming stay. Your staff was awesome!
- 4/5
Convenient location, clean rooms: water pressure in sink was weak, shower was perfect. Difficult to find balance warm water: either scalding of cold. Breakfast was good
- 3/5
I appreciated that breakfast was included but that was probably about it. The bed was uncomfortable. The pull-out couch was uncomfortable. The pillows sucked. The room was SO tiny and we had three people staying in the room. We each had at least two suitcases and a carry-on, so there was absolutely no room to stand anywhere. Also, my friend walked downstairs to request more toilet paper and was told that someone would bring it up to our room in 20 minutes. It never came. The next day, she asked again and someone from the front desk gave it to her immediately. On my next trip to New York, I don't plan on staying here.
- 5/5
Our room was on the smaller side, but it’s NYC you aren’t in your room much during the day! It was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and very friendly. The location of this hotel was great for what we were there for. We felt safe at all times. Lots to do in Hell’s Kitchen!
- 4/5
The rooms are clean, but very small. Even for two people, it was cramped with suitcases. Breakfast was wonderful and the hotel is in a good location. Staff is very nice.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean, as was our room. My husband appreciated how helpful the staff was. The location was convenient, and it was pretty quiet. Cons for me: I understand it's NYC, but it cost $8 for a bottle of apple juice, and $6 for a bottle of water from the little grab and go area. The bathroom is small and tight. The door got stuck several times. 2 of my kids couldn't get out and then I couldn't get out. If someone is claustrophobic, that's going to cause a problem. Breakfast time is crazy. It was around 7:30/7:45 when we went, and we couldn't find a place to sit. Selection was ok. I wish ther was another meat option for those who don't like turkey bacon.
- 1/5
We didn’t have air conditioning for the entire two days of our stay. But the hotel did offer us 25% off and 50 % off the second day, which was nice.
- 3/5
We barely had any space to walk. The room for 3 guest was just too small. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in a lot of NY hotels but this has been the smallest room I ever stayed.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were so helpful and kind. My room was small but clean. The location was walkable to Times Square. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Aceptable
- 5/5
Excellent location with coffee shops and convenience stores near by. Walkable everybwhere
- 5/5
- 4/5
Very small elevators, bathrooms are tiny to take a shower, super busy breakfast area. The only good is the location which is near the time square. Will i stay there again? NO!
- 5/5
The entire hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had breakfast boxes available on our last day because we left before breakfast was open. The location was convenient we would stay here again
- 4/5
Breakfast was great & room was clean. Bed a bit uncomfortable but nothing extremely bad
- 5/5
Yes, they had a very good breakfast menu, a little bit of everything, a lot of varieties of drinks too. It was excellent
- 4/5
No complaints
- 4/5
While the rooms are extremely small, the staff is very helpful, and the breakfast substantial and a great asset. I have not received a receipt for the payments made or for the $100.00 contingencies added to my charge, which was supposed to be refundable on checkout. Also, on one of the days of our stay, we were without any water, and the hotel had assured us that we would get a discount for each of our three rooms. How do I get that?
- 4/5
air conditioning in the room was obnoxiously LOUD ! just terrible!
- 5/5
There is always a large breakfast with several options. I typically have fresh fruit and yogurt which is always fresh.
- 5/5
Everything was enjoyable
- 5/5
Breakfast included, housekeeping was on top of it, walking distance to time square, very safe, stayed there with my 11 year old twins.
- 5/5
If for no other reason, book this for the amazing breakfast! Truly everything you could want- eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, cereal, oatmeal etc! It’s walking distance to Times Square, it takes about 15 minutes to get to central Times Square. The bed and pillows were comfy, we were on the 16th floor and our room was so quiet. Ample elevators, 4 and they move fast. We especially liked the location for walking back from Broadway shows at night. I’m a female traveling with my 2 kids and I felt safe.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice complimentary breakfast was a big plus.
- 5/5
First time I enjoyed myself
- 3/5
Breakfast food options were good, quality also good,
- 3/5
Our room didn’t have much walking space and the beds are pretty much wall to wall so if you are a family of 4 it might feel really tight. The doors are extremely loud when opening/closing and the walls are very thin so pack earplugs. The room was cleaned everyday and the food was decent but the fruit was frozen, the boiled eggs are also frozen and very little staff to clean the tables.
- 4/5
Everthing was great! The only thing is breakfast gets very crowded.
- 4/5
Rooms were small. No way to unpack suitcase no dressers. Breakfast so crowded it took forever to find a seat
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 3/5
Excellent location—Times Square is just a block down. Breakfast was okay but it was so crowded that they ran out of seating. The porters were great. Our shower head was leaky and sprayed water onto the ceiling. The smallest room I’ve experienced in the States.
- 5/5
Staff were nice and it’s clean
- 3/5
No umbrellas to borrow (for purchase only) for a rainy day, so be prepared. One late night there was no cold water, 11:30pm to 12:30am, then for a few hours there was no water at all, couldn’t flush the toilet. Called front desk multiple times, no pick up. If maintenance, there should be a warning letter for guests or warnings posted in elevators. Things do happen but quite inconvenient and poor service that nobody answered the Front Desk phone when I called a few times that night.
- 3/5
It met our needs. Very small room and check in took hours after the 3:00 check in time but it was nice we could drop our luggage there in the morning. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast in the morning. Hard to find a working ice and water machine anywhere and $6.99 for a cheapy bottle of water to buy. Location was good and walkable to most NYC things. Basic, sufficient.
- 4/5
They have a partner parking that says $60 per day but when we parked, the owner said he just increased to $75 per day. Also, their hot and cold shower is very hard to control and is very unstable.
- 5/5
- 1/5
Up all night due to rattling in the walls. Terrible- couldn't sleep.
- 4/5
Great stay! The staff were helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout our visit. The location is perfect, blocks away from Times Square and Broadway shows, which made getting around easy. Breakfast was also a plus, with plenty of options to choose from. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5

The room was clean and towels were replaced daily. Front desk and lobby staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had an amazing selection, but was very busy. Would definitely stay here again!

- 4/5
Meals were okay
- 5/5
Amazing !! Loved our stay here . Great location walking distance from everything. Close to multiple train station and bus terminal . Breakfast was great different options every day. Staff was amazing and attentive. Definitely recommend 10/10 .
- 4/5
Shower water was very difficult to function, either way to hot or too cold.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great! Room was small but clean and well maintained and modern. Great security and service. Walking distance of lots of good stuff, subway stations just a minute or two away as well. Got a deal on the room and didn’t regret staying there once. Recommend.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet room. Convenient location. Staff was great. Hot breakfast buffet was good, a real value for the city. Only wish we had more control over heating/cooling, room stayed too warm overnight.
- 1/5
no microwave in room no parking onsite
- 5/5
Breakfast was ok and filled the tummy. The elevators were not a problem as raised in other reviews. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was lovely. We would come back but book through the hotel to guarantee the room request.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Business-Friendly, staff was nice.
- 5/5
Excellent place. Walking distance from metro, buses and touristic attractions. Breakfast was buffet and it was excellent, good variety.
- 2/5
There are only 2 elevators for the hotel and waiting in line could be tedious.
- 1/5
dirty, water wasn’t working
- 1/5
front desk director was amazing and exceptional customer service. Good location, closed to time square and major attractions
- 2/5
It looks like a nice hotel but unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We opened the sofa bed, it smell like fish. The sheets were not changed on it when I went to the front desk they said they will bring me another mattress in 10 minutes. I waited 45 and when I went down again they said they forgot because they were changing shifts at 11. After that, I received the mattress, the guy that brought it in had an attitude told me to put the mattress on top of the other mattress and I told him to please take the other mattress because he smell like fish the mattress he gave me was only phone. He was not even wrapped and it looked like it was 25 years old. I will never stay there again. I didn’t even want to complain to the front desk because I wasn’t sure how they were going to react. He makes me wonder if my sheets were even changed or how they cleaned the place.

Absolutely great staff with pleasant attitude n goes above and beyond, to satisfaction. It was such a phenomenal experience staying at this hotel.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff! Good atmosphere in the lobby. Rooms very clean! Comfortable bed. We stayed at 17th floor and it was really quiet!! Very good location!
- 3/5
Brighter bathroom lights , more than one towel when booking for a stay of 3. Had to ask but could be better to have to ask at all. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Downside - bit noisy, but earplugs drowned it out
- 5/5
Room was clean and breakfast was superb!
- 2/5
To begin with, we were offered a check-in time of 3:00 PM; however, our room was not ready until after 5:00 PM. After this inconvenience, we were only offered a 20–25% discount for the night, which did not feel proportionate to the delay experienced. Additionally, weeks in advance of our trip on January 30, I had requested that our room be decorated in celebration of my daughter’s birthday so that her stay could feel special upon arrival. Regrettably, this request was not fulfilled. Instead, we were provided with a small piece of chocolate cake and a black-and-white birthday letter from the hotel, without even a spoon included. When we contacted the help desk to request a spoon, it took at least 30 minutes for it to be delivered to our room. Furthermore, when I attempted to take a shower, the water initially appeared brown, which was both concerning and unacceptable. Overall, what was meant to be a memorable and special stay for my daughter was not accomplished, and our experience fell far short of what we expected from Hyatt. I was then offered a 50% discount on my stay at my checkout on 02/20 but yet has not posted to my account.
- 5/5
My stay was great.
- 5/5
Volvería a este hotel. El desayuno muy bueno, había variedad, hay personal que habla español y con las maletas muy responsables, permiten guardarlas antes de hacer el check in y luego también. La habitación excelente,

Sofa bed was damaged and the mattress was old, so had rough sleep on first night, got sorted when I reported but still wasn’t the best sleep. Room was quite small for 5 people. Not much space to walk around and the wardrobe was very small too. Had to ask bath towels too as was provided three only. Food was ok and staff did their best too. Overall it was average.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!! Blizzard of 2026 hit and the staff kicked butt at helping us book our stay longer due to flight cancellations. They kept the breakfast just as yummy and our rooms stayed well kept. When we come back and visit we will definitely be staying here. It's so close to everything and quite even in Ti.es Square.
- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
Excellent staff, great service in all areas (dinning, front desk and room service). Location was great just a few blocks away from tourist attractions and anything you want or need (pharmacy, church etc). Breakfast was also very good. Definitely will recommend!
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location, room spotless, staff friendly, included breakfast was outstanding. For a hotel we chose based on reasonable price this went way beyond expectations. Thank you for a great base during our lovely holiday!
- 5/5
Continental breakfast, and lovely staff stood out!
- 5/5
This was our 3rd time staying here, great as always!
- 4/5
Really enjoyed my stay here, it was clean and breakfast was great! My only issue was the lack of storage. There was no drawers and basically a wardrobe for one person. We were in a family room with 5 of us so it wasnt ideal as we had to keep everything in out cases. Aside from this i would stay again
- 5/5
Great service but the room kinda small
- 3/5
The room sheets one of them had a really bad blood stain on it witch looked like it was resent and the sheets weren’t changed so the was kind of a bad feeling towards laying down on a bed was with the feel of the sheets weren’t never changed
- 5/5
Room was clean shower was clean staff were attentive
- 5/5
Good value,clean, nice breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean. Great location. Small but I guess normal for NYC. Currently making renovations on higher floors. Don’t plan on sleeping in. The electric tools and hammering won’t let you.
- 3/5
The breakfast service staff was lacking interest in helping guest. The cleaning staff was nice but the daily room upkeep was poor, forgetting to empty trash cans, add room coffee, take old coffee mugs, etc.
- 5/5
From the first day we arrived to check out all the staff were very helpful and kind. The room was cleaned everyday.
- 3/5
The room was very small for 3 people. Ok, for a single but not a family of 3 with checked luggage. Everything else was fine.
- 2/5
The room was dirty, the fire alarm got activated in the middle of the night and sounded by sound me hour. The hotel only explained that was a false alarm and when going downstairs to check they were rude and no information given.

- 5/5
Housekeeping cleaned room daily. Breakfast was great, not your average lobby breakfast. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean, efficient, and helpful service.
- 3/5
Heat didn’t work had to switch rooms. New room heat barely worked and was very loud. My room door was directly in front of the elevators. So all night long all you heard was people right outside my door.
- 1/5
Stayed here during the extreme cold in New York and it was a terrible experience. The room heater was not working at all. I went to reception multiple times, but the manager said she couldn’t do anything and showed no interest in helping. She told me someone would come fix it, but no one showed up for three days. Completely unacceptable, especially in this weather.
- 5/5
Large infinity pool, great hum, wonderful breakfast…
- 4/5
The room was clean. Everything was OK just a little noisy next-door and on my floor, but I only stayed for one night.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great (crowded, go early), gym was nice and not crowded. Room was clean and cleaning staff worked hard. Camden the manager was super helpful and friendly. Really close to subway. Would stay again!

Hotel is conveniently located. Walking distance to theaters, Times Square, and other attractions. Room was clean, beds very comfortable and bathroom very clean. Staff was amazing from Front Desk to the Housekeeping ladies. Breakfast was great! Absolutely no complaints.

During my stay with the hotel we asked u a. Room with double bed and a sofa bed because we were my children, my husband and I 5 adults and when we arrived on January 29, 2025 they came out that there were no rooms and that they only had one double bed and it was horrible and uncomfortable to sleep 5 people in such a small place and they told me that they were going to refund me the money for that night and it was not like that yet the day we checked out they told me and I have been sending messages to the hotel and shipping and nothing
- 4/5
Yes. But a sign needs to be placed to say that the waters are on sale in the room. I thought it was complementary.
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
It was a great stay clean convenient great breakfast can't wait to come back
- 5/5
The room was spotless. We were allowed to check in early at no extra cost. The breakfast was delicious
- 2/5
We asked 4 times for an extra pillow for my husband to sleep on the pullout couch. Never received one. The pull out couch was also very uncomfortable- you could feel the springs through the thin memory foam. The room was so small that we had to turn sideways to keep from knocking the tv off the wall when walking in between the bed and the wall to the bathroom. The room was VERY small. The heating unit was so loud and made a high pitch ringing sound anytime it was turned on-and it had to be on- because the window did not close all the way so there was a draft at all times. The housekeeping and front desk staff were fantastic and the location to time square was convenient. That’s the only thing good about our stay.
- 5/5
The room was newly appointed, clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 1/5
Rating: 1/5 Stars I stayed here as a frequent NYC visitor and Hyatt loyalist, but this was a disaster. Housekeeping repeatedly barged into my room without knocking—even while I was undressed and resting due to a chest infection. Despite the Assistant Front Office Manager promising an 'alert' was on my file to prevent this, it happened again immediately after. Management attempted to 'buy off' the poor experience with points, but points don't fix a total lack of guest privacy or safety. To make matters worse, I was promised a refund for the constant interruptions, yet upon checkout, I was told I had to chase Expedia for it myself with no proof of the refund amount from the hotel. If you value your privacy and an stress-free stay, avoid this location. The staff are unfortunately rude and there is a horrible vibe. No communication whatsoever. Excuses for bad service. They ate dealing with refund now as matter been escalated.

Lorena is an awesome employee and person. She made our stay very comfortable. She made sure we added our points, had water and wine.

Room is a little small but we didn’t spend much inside so it worked out.
- 2/5
Rooms were nice but after returning from being out all day Saturday, our room smelled like marijuana and it saturated our clothes. We ended up being charged $13 for 2 water bottles that were left in our room but there was absolutely nothing stating they were not free. We assumed they were free due to the tap water from the sink being grey and cloudy. The front desk is impossible to get ahold of to have any issues resolved. At one point I waited on hold for over 15 minutes and had to go down to the front desk anyway to actually talk to someone.
- 5/5
Super friendly and helpful staff!
- 5/5
Great location and attentive staff!

They charged $6 for a bottle of water for a Hyatt member without letting me know. I drank one but charged two so total was $13.06.
- 4/5
Overall, good hotel.
- 1/5
It wasn’t a 4 star hotel! People were coming and going with no security. The elevator didn’t need a key or card. Anyone could get up to the rooms. The breakfast was awful. It was like cattle in line. People off the street were eating. I would never go back!

Tenho fotos do colchão.

Great front desk people. Got us into our room 3 hours early.
- 3/5
The room was large but the bathroom extremely small, even by NYC standards. I'm 5'4" and a size medium and I don't think the shower stall would be comfortable for anyone larger. Also had to call the front desk to get a hair dryer, which added an unnecessary delay to my morning. Staff was responsive and polite throughout stay.

clean room and breakfast was delicious!
- 5/5
Good hotel with nice location. Typical continental breakfast with extensive choices. Very busy and always a wait for the elevator, but it was expected because of the long weekend. Small rooms, but spacious enough for short stays.
- 2/5
Air conditioner was very noisy not worth staying couldn’t sleep the whole night
- 4/5
Room is clean , but service people did not come to make bed and clean rest room yet when I was back at 4 pm .

- 4/5
The staff was professional at check in. The breakfast staff was patience and courteous to all, despite some rude people.
- 5/5
Location was great, staff was helpful, room was clean. Breakfast was really busy the later it got.
- 5/5
Location is great! Room is clean. The heater made noise and made it difficult to sleep but that could be a problem only in room 722. Breakfast was very good! Highly suggest to stay in this hotel
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location. Breakfast bar was great. Loved the New Year's Eve party held in hotel bar area. DJ was great.
- 5/5
Clean room , amazing staff, perfect location!
- 5/5
The only problem we had was the elevators were slow and had to wait a lot to get to your room or come down to the lobby. They had 4 elevators but only 2 were working properly which is very frustrating.i am not sure why they would leave you 2 bottle of water saying enjoy until you read the fine print that paper was attached where they charge you $6 each. That was really TACKY FOR HYATT HOTEL!
- 3/5
The breakfast was the same every 3 days, but is good.

Great breakfast. Room very neat and clean. Close to Times Square, but not in the middle of all the noise. Bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Also we were told they would be adjacent and they weren’t.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
Habitación limpia, el staff muy amable el desayuno muy rico, lo recomiendo al 100 %
- 4/5
Its accessible, good staff
- 5/5
Easy check-in, the room was small but worked for our family of 5. Being able to leave our bags at the hotel after check-out was very helpful so we could spend more time in the city.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
The room was clean and breakfast was great. But the elevators and lobby size cannot handle the volume of guests. We were constantly waiting for packed elevators and the breakfast crowd was a mess. A secondary breakfast area was added at the end of a long room, but that was a bad setup. A better secondary location might be the bar. Also, consider extending breakfast to 10 am to help spread out the crowds.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Breakfast was good but very very crowded with limited seating, and it took a long time to get a elevator.
- 3/5
Variety of breakfast options

Better quality
- 5/5
My son and I recently stayed at this location. It was during the holiday season so it was very busy but the staff was very attentive. I would like to recognize a staff member named Kevin. He gifted us one evening and it was nothing big but to me it was. He didn’t know that I was stressed a bit during this trip so his gift meant the world to me. I walked away with tears in my eyes. So thank you Kevin ❤️
- 3/5
Clean
- 5/5
The location was great!
- 3/5
Tiny room, father than expected from Times Square with kids in tow. Thin blankets for sleeping.
- 5/5
All good!!
- 3/5
Rooms are small and have no storage space.
- 3/5
Breakfast was ok, gave more on the cheaper side quality of the food wise. Extremely crowded, not enough spots for everyone to sit. The hotel itself was nice, kinda loud in my room. I could hear people all the way down the hall, and I could hear slamming of other people’s doors. The elevator was a bit tiny. The staff was extremely nice. Would rate 7.0 out of 10
- 5/5
Great service 👏 over all
- 3/5
Rooms were tiny for two people. If I knew they were micro I would’ve booked two queens instead of one king. The staff upon arrival was kind. During the following days they seemed overwhelmed. My room wasn’t cleaned the first day even though they said it would be cleaned everyday. And the lobby smelled like maple syrup.
- 4/5
The hotel location great, room size mid.
- 5/5
Front desk staff were phenomenal and always kind. We always had a clean room. There were a few things that we needed, and the front desk took care of that very quickly. Every staff member we encountered were phenomenal.

- 5/5
It was clean, but small room. Very quiet hotel. The breakfast was just ok. Staff were alway helpful and nice!
- 4/5
Conveniently located.
- 3/5
Very centrally located which was a big plus. Breakfast wasnt so appetising. Eggs were raw and cold. Rooms were very small. Shouldn't be advertised as able to sleep 3. No cupboard space at all!
- 5/5
Clean room. Berry nice reception staff
- 5/5
Very helpful
- 5/5
Friendly and fast! Nice and clean!
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
The morning breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have had at a hotel before. Would stay again as long as it’s a short trip
- 2/5
We arrived at the hotel and there was lots of people in the lobby just waiting around, not much room to move around and was very hard to hear. Once we got checked and and waited 20 minutes for the elevator we finally got into the hotel room to find stained carpets in several areas of the room as well as dirty sheets, and a smelly foul odor in the room. We called the front office and asked for new sheets and extra pillows for our child, and they said they would send someone up to change the sheets, and bring pillows up within 10 minutes. We waited for an hour for someone from maintenance to come up hand us our paper thin sheets and 1 pillow. For the amount we paid for the room we expected it to be cleaned properly and accommodate our stay.
- 1/5
The room was a closet. The lobby had no nice amenities. It was really a dump.
- 3/5
I must say every single staff member we came in contact with was extremely nice and accommodating. The cons, tight room. We had the king bed with sofa couch. The sofa bed had a very thin old mattress. The room did not have a blanket for that bed. We couldn’t call the front desk because the phone in the room didn’t work. We went down to front desk to ask for a blanket. They were very nice and said they would send one up. It never arrived. My daughter ended up in bed with us in the middle of the night because the sheet wasn’t warm enough. The next day when house keeping came to clean all they did was make the bed and replace towels. We had food trays with old food left in the room. They did throw it away. We came back to the room and it was still there and disgusting. I’ve stayed at many hotels in NYC and will not stay at this one again.
- 4/5
Decent place to stay and don’t mind that the room is small
- 4/5
Clean room and staff very pleasant
- 4/5
Excellent staff and stay. Room was a little small but otherwise very clean and modern. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Front desk staff communication needs improvement. Although we tried to be understanding, and sought to have the issue resolved, female front desk staff were honestly quite condescending, dismissive and abrupt. It felt as though we were creating the problem and were advised that to move rooms, we would have to be without a room for four hours until another one became avaliable. Had it not been for the busy Christmas season, we would have opted to seek out another hotel. We will not stay here again.
- 4/5
Great location for us. Close to the train and Times Square. Room was small but modern, spotless and laid out well. Breakfast had enough to please everyone. It was crowded but there were 2 buffet areas and plenty of seating.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sleeper sofa needs a new mattress very badly.
- 4/5
Room was small but clean. Elevators very busy in the mornings. Shower was not hot. Breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Great staff. Loved breakfast. Ease of checking in. Utilized the luggage storage
- 2/5
Rooms were dirty. Handicapped room was damaged and not accessible.
- 5/5
Very grateful to get rooms here at the last minute. I found out my reservation for me and my family at Yotel got cancelled as I boarded my plane to NYC, all due to fraud protection on my credit card! The rooms here were a little small but it’s Manhattan. Everything was very clean, beds very comfortable. The free breakfast was good and the staff were outstanding. Thanks 😊
- 5/5
Staff and room was great.
- 3/5
Staff was great
- 3/5
I will say the staff was very courteous the room was clean but the room was extremely extremely noisy during the night I don't know if it was the heat coming on or something in the hallway but I paid $685 for one night and it was not worth it at all I will be calling you when I get back
- 4/5
Very nice
- 1/5
The Room and bathroom IMPOSSIBLY SMALL. A Winter coat took up all tiny closet. No luggage rack as no room for it. Adjoining room noise as if people were in my room. The FAN so loud it hurt. Never had a working phone for calling desk or housekeeping. Bathroom too small for anything on the sink. Nothing! Staff was actually great. Housekeeping good. But ROOM HORRIBLE. 1520 should not be a separate room.
- 3/5
Sign in room near water said complimentary. So we drank the water. Noticed later in small print that the water was free for members. Otherwise, $6 a bottle. During checkout the lady said don’t worry about it, you won’t be charged. Received our credit card bill and we were indeed charged.
- 1/5
Could not even make the trip due to my wife getting diagnosed with Covid the night before check-in. Attempted to cancel the morning of check-in and neither Expedia nor the Hotel were of any relevant help. Expedia claims the hotel wouldn’t waive their cancellation policy even thou there were two nights left after checkin date. Should have at least refunded the last two nights. Garbage policy and customer service.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Room was freezing and thermostat didn’t work. Also room was between the ice machine and the elevator so very noisy. Not what I expected for $500/night.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
It’s was just OK. Nothing to brag about. The room was so small for 3 people. The bathroom was very tiny. It definitely wasn’t worth the price. I’ll take The Muse anyday!
- 5/5
Not great location compared to actual time square.
- 5/5
The entire staff was 5 star. Would most certainly stay here again!!
- 3/5
Room too small and cold
- 4/5
Clean room, excellent staff. Endless hot water, poor water pressure. Room 813 was next to the elevator which comes with its own expected noise, but the real annoying bit was the sound of extremely loud (water pipes?) that happened about 50 times over 48 hours. We did not complain to the staff as we knew the hotel was booked and they upgraded us to the last room with a sofa bed during a 98% capacity. A noise machine and ear plugs at night did the job, as we were out and about during the day. We let them know at check out and they said they would get maintenance on it right away. Dewon was so accommodating and extremely compassionate upon check in, he upgraded us to a sofa bed as it was pictured in the booking, but was not what we booked, for free. Every single front desk person was kind and patient, and I had several interactions asking random questions. Breakfast was amazing for being free and staff did a great job stocking it. Perfect location to catch Broadway shows and ride the subway anywhere else. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend 10/10. I was a mom with my 2 teenagers and felt very safe!

Friendly staff and clean rooms
- 4/5
Clean room and wonderful bed. Breakfast was vert good with lots of variety in food choices.
- 5/5
Thank you for holding my luggage while I waited for my train.
- 4/5
Great spot.
- 3/5
Room itself was great. But lots of noise from the elevators dinging and room doors opening/closing throughout the night.
- 2/5
The room was very small. The elevators due to traffic were very slow. Despite calling ahead, the instructions they say they added didn’t occur. I had to request things multiple times and the front desk folks responded with let’s just look forward. The entry area was always full of people just sitting around. Not a comfortable feeling hotel. Clean but not recommended.
- 5/5
Room very clean, friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent amenities, friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and kind the room was great and the location perfect for sightseeing
- 4/5
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great. The elevators are too slow, particularly in the morning. Please use AI to make it better. Overall we had good experience.
- 4/5
Very nice 😊
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Rooms but very small
- 5/5
Good overall
- 4/5
Typically tiny, but clean room at a good price. Wifi was out for a few hours one day but otherwise worked well. We signed up for a "city view" but all we could see was the wall of the hotel across the alley. We didn't have time for the free breakfast but it looked good. I would recommend the hotel add some coat hooks to the rooms, very small closet.
- 5/5
From arrival to departure, all staff were helpful, kind, patient and smiling. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered something for all tastes. The hotel was well placed location wise (a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station) and without too much 'outside' noise. Thank you all again for contributing to making our first NYC trip an enjoyable and memorable.
- 5/5
Muy buena ubicación! Muy limpio, staff muy atento!
- 5/5
The front desk staff is amazing and super helpful.

Nice hotel with great people, convenient location
- 5/5
Love it. Excellent service
- 4/5
Good hotel. Elevators take a long time and the staff kept all of their cleaning equipment in our hallway but hotel room was overall good, excellent location.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Room was small but clean. Heat stopped working in the room and we were immediately moved to another room. Location was good.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was amazing
- 5/5
We loved to spend time together at this hotel! Fancy and friendly with the guests
- 4/5
Location is amazing and the breakfast pretty decent (loved the french toast). It is crowed all the time in the lobby and to take the elevator
- 3/5
Room was in good condition but limited views.
- 5/5
It was a little further away than we wanted to radio city but close to time square. still walkable for people who can walk. I had a 12 and 14 year old so we were fine. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I loved that they held our bags for us before and after check out. It got busy but it was great for the one night we stayed. The rooms were small but I think that’s normal for New York City. Great stay. Thank you
- 4/5
Comfy beds, small room though. Kind of expected though in NY
- 4/5
Clean rooms although very small, but that seems to be the norm in NYC. It was full so breakfasts were chaotic and perhaps people helping organizing would make the experience better.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
All disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast.
- 5/5
What I didn’t like was that I was promised a Garage spot and when we got there, it was all booked up and we had to scramble to find another Garage spot which fortunately was literally two doors down with the same company, however, we had to suck up the difference, which I didn’t like however, looking at the convenience that it was literally two doors down. I made it work. Have to say they were gonna give us the difference between the two garages but was $15 and honestly it ended up being better and for the convenience was worth it. I would definitely stay there and recommend it.
