Staff were personable. The room was nice and clean. I used to stay here before frequently and it hasn’t changed. A nice, clean, comfortable accommodation. The only weird thing was an unauthorized amount was charged to my card. Hopefully it gets squared away. Will definitely stay again

We stayed at the Hyatt hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby dining and attraction options. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend the Hyatt to anyone visiting the area.

Nice hotel in a great location in Midtown

Property was in a great location in midtown, room was a good size and very comfortable. Great to have safe and fridge in the room. Shower and bathroom facilities were excellent. It was my husbands birthday and the staff did put balloons in the room which was a nice touch. We had requested a City view room, and although we had somewhat of a view of the Empire State Building it was impeded by what looked like 3-4 water tanks. That was disappointing. There were bottles of water left in room but these would have been charged at $5 if taken. Would have been a nice touch if these were complimentary.

We appreciated the friendliness of reception and other staff. There was no exception. Many thanks to all Hotel is small and ee think there is a limit. But the staff is more of an asset in a hotel like this. Rooftop bar is also good incl staff there

Perfect location for visiting iconic places in NYC. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wish the hotel is a little bit more generous with the coffees and milk provided in the room especially as there were three of us in the room.

We booked a room with a city view and got the total opposite…. My husband just let it fly by but me I wanted to say something but my peaceful husband let it go. The rooms are so small but they are clean and nice we just will not book again because of the wrong room situation

Location is great, close to Times Square, 5th Avenue, and lots of restaurants. I like that the room isn't carpeted (it feels cleaner), and I'd say the room is bigger than at other hotels in NY. The rooftop is also a plus. The shower water pressure wasn't working well when we turned on the hot water. I called the front desk twice to have it fixed, but it wasn't fixed during our stay.

I liked that the property wasn’t too far from most attractions. It was kinda in Midtown Manhattan, so it’s super close to everything. The two things I didn’t like about the hotel was that in the bathroom there was a weird creaky noise coming from the ceiling. Now it could’ve just been the people above me, but it was a little weird. Additionally, on my day I was leaving. it’s like all the elevators broke at the same time except for one. It made getting down stairs with lounge a little difficult, but I made it through.

We had four people in the room, and every day they took all our towels and only gave us 2 or 3, so each night I had to request extra towels. The room was quiet, which was great. Although long waits for the elevators at times.

Nice size room, separate toilet generous siz shower plenty of outlets. Clean facility. Nice restaurant and a roof bar run by another company. We were also very happy with the friendly and helpful staff. Wish there had been an armoire but maybe because we had two Queen beds there was no room.

A very nice location, close to all the popular sites, with not heavy foot traffic like the time square.

Excellent Midtown location, only a short walk to many major attractions. Hotel has a very good breakfast and helpful staff. Hallway noise at night can be a bit intrusive, I was woken twice by people coming out of lifts and talking in the corridor.

I have to say Ronny is the best, very welcoming and attentive. Rachel was also amazing to interact with. The Asst. GM was also outstanding. I never got the name of the lady at front desk, but she was not as helpful as the others. It was still wonderful and majority of the staff is remarkable.

The AC didn't work. There was no sugar with the coffee maker. There was limited cream as well. The bathroom lighting was dim. The lobby was terrible. Fabric was torn on sofa, carpet was dirty. I paid a premium and was incredibly disappointed.

Inner rooms very quiet. The only issue here is disrespectful loud people in adjacent rooms especially with kids. We travelled with kids and they didn’t bang on the walls or scream in the corridors early morning 4am every day we were there despite knocking on the doors to ask them to be quiet. Stay away from the family double rooms. You have been warned.

This hotel Was in a great location for walking to many things. Only problem was The sliding door to the toilet was a struggle but the door to the entire bathroom did not slide at all! Also very poor lighting.

I stayed there for 2 nights, the receptions are really customer friendly and very helpful which was the best part of the stay. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is I was given a different room then what I booked, the manager later changed me to my room but the heat wasn’t working. I was changed to another room the following day. Overall good hotel and will go back

There was a light in the room that spazzed out for five minutes before turning on. We could not access our room at 5 pm while trying to get ready for dinner because house keeping was inside and the room was turned upside down. Staff was nice.

Overall everything was great. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a Hyatt which was nice. Staff were so nice and helpful. Had an issue with the heat but they took care of it quickly. Room was new and super clean. Would definitely stay here again.

My colleagues and I stayed here for a work trip. The entire stay was on my Credit Card. When I checked out I reviewed my bill to see I was charged for the water in my room. I asked and was told it has a sign that says only for specific type of members, well I did not ready beyond for complimentary for members…. which is I guess my fault, but in 2024, should we have this type of “bait & switch” culture and if I am charged for water, should it really be $3, per bottle for Poland Spring each day? When your cost $6 max per case? I don’t leave reviews but when things are just so unacceptable, it is more of a public service. Be aware.

The hotel made us wait over an hour while they inspected the room. When we finally got in, the air conditioning wasn’t working. The engineer worked on the air conditioning but couldn’t fix it. The room was over 80 degrees. It took several calls to reception to get them to refund our money and by that time the only other room in the city was double the rate.

Great room for a longer visit to NYC, Would recommend. Staff a little moody and don't like to make eye contact and ignore you a lot!

The roof top bar was a huge disappointment. Because the staff at bar were rude & overpriced. The photos from roof top bar were deceptive.

we liked the room a lot, it was really dark so we had a good sleep, right room size, clean and well distributed bathroom, its a very convenient hotel, close to 5th ave and subway stations. I'd stay at this property again if possible.

we had a family room (2 double beds) - not huge but manageable. nice bathroom with a lovely big shower. Coffee machine and fridge which was nice. Staff were excellent - very friendly and efficient. didn't eat in the restaurant but did have drinks on the roof terrace which was lovely. my only criticism is around the cleaning of the rooms. the cleaning staff don't start until the afternoon and were coming to clean our room at 5pm which was when we had just come in or were getting ready for dinner. this therefore meant that our room wasn't cleaned and we didn't get fresh towels, bins emptied etc. Its not a first world problem and we managed but it wasn't ideal. we did however speak to the Duty Manager who kindly arranged on one day for them to come in the morning whilst we were out. Just bear this in mind if you book as for some, a 5pm room make up doesn't work.

I arrived super early, so my room was understandably not read. Shanelle at the front desk was so kind, informative and professional. I received a text when my room was ready, which was very helpful since I was out & about. I typically stay at Hyatts when I go away and have never had a bad experience. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I’ll be back soon!

Rooms are a bit small, but that is to be expected in Midtown. Road noise was a bit of an issue, if that is important ask for a higher floor. However we found we got used to the noise pretty quickly. Would certainly stay here again.

Took a $800 deposit off us for 2 prepaid rooms at the start of our trip and have been home a month and still haven’t got a refund (we had no room charges!). Shower gel etc was never replaced during our 4 night stay even after contacting reception twice to request it.

Perfect for a weekend getaway to NYC. The only downfall about this hotel is that it has terrible lighting throughout the room. It was so dark.

The room was very dark and not well lit. I couldn't get any cell reception.

Excellent stay. Our first night we had to move rooms because our AC was not working but Shanelle and Gregory helped us out and reimbursed us for the night. Great rooms, great showers, great beds. We will definitely be back.

Unbelievably inexpensive for the quality of the stay. Great beds. Amazing shower. We were able to walk to the Empire State Building, the Highline, Times Square and so many more places. The breakfast at the hotel is also fantastic!
