No fridge No extra toilet paper in bathroom Bathroom waa disgusting Not even a couch to sit on 40 dollars a night for parking ? Atlantic city hotels don't even charge that!! Elevator shook not a little bit but a lot like a earthquake. Staff was nice that's about the only nice thing I have to say. Also only had one key for the room.

Really bad experience and would recommend folks stay away - dirty rooms with tape still on floors from construction, phones and tv didn’t work and plastic was still on the mattress.

The only plus to my stay was that I was able to find somewhere better close by. This shouldn't have advertised as a hotel. NONE of the amenities existed and I waited for over an hour to check in having gotten there at 10pm. No response from the bell and the phone didn't ring when I called. I was about to leave when someone showed up. They refused to provide a refund for the nights I wasn't there and was unresponsive when Expedia reached out.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. Key cards were not working when I arrived. They had to pry open my door for me to get in every time. Smoke alarm battery was low so there was a constant beep through the night.

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. First there was no one to check you in, there was a lobby of people waiting. The phone number to the hotel was “Down”and they had a paper with a phone number on it to call and no one answered. When someone finally got there to assist they couldn’t get any of the keys to work. They asked us to keep the doors open or that we can ask for them to open it for us when we needed. They used a screwdriver to pop them open. I went to look at the room and the shower was full of mold. The hotel hallways smelled like weed and was dingy and dirty. Everything was dingy and dirty. I ran as fast as I could from there. I would not recommend.

The neighborhood was fine but they only have ONE computer to check people in. The front desk was often abandoned. Keys weren’t working. The condition of the rooms is not good.

I would be more understanding if this were some random situation that happened on a busy weekend — but no. This had been going on for WEEKS! There are no latches on the inside of the room doors, so someone accidentally let themselves into our room. Fortunately they immediately realized the mistake and left. We slept with furniture blocking our door.

The hotel remains under renovation, and there were some technical difficulties that caused someone to cancel their reservation altogether. The keys did not work but staff said it should be fine now. However, I do not blame the staff, since they just work there and we’re all human. The room was mostly clean, my bed was comfortable and my stay was fine otherwise. I look forward to coming back when the hotel is fully renovated.

It did the job. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was excellent! There were many things that need to be repaired or replaced in the room but they didn’t negatively impact my one-night stay.

Young girl was there trying to find him. She stated that he goes in peoples rooms often and she can’t find him. Once we finally got to our room it was filthy and smelled of urine. On line it looks like a perfect place to stay. But when I got in the room. It was not clean. I had requested a king side bed ended up with a 3 fullside. And under the blanket there was a blont raped up. 😐

The hotel is a fraud the rooms don’t look as nice they walls were beat up & there wasn’t the stuff they guaranteed to have there .. no toothpaste cheap wash rags I Hadto walk to a store to get lotion and other toiletries that they said they would have in the rooms . I would NOT guarantee staying here ..

The moment we got there we waited for 30min for the front desk attendant to get back to his job. He was being contacted via Walkie Talkie by the “security lady” who told us he was at the store. He walked in smelling like marijuana. We then check into the deluxe King room and are greeted with a Room set to 80 degrees and a smell of something electrical that had been burnt. The room was dirty, everywhere. Random baby pacifier in the drawer. Dirt all over the floor. The bathroom glass door had be spray painted terribly so you couldn’t see in. The toiletries like the shampoo and body wash they supplied are bottles that are refillable l (which hadn’t been at our arrival) which is a huge sanitary issue. The staff were expressionless and what I would seem quite useless had there been an actual serious problem. Also I’m almost sure people live there too given setup and vibe we got. This place is not clean nor does the hotel ownership seem to have any pride or value towards this hotel.

Thelady in front desk,I ask about the parking lot because it was empty the lady reply it was $25, when I return there was a gentleman, I ask him he also told me 25 not until I comment they didn't accommodated handycap. He told me to park lot was empty.

A lamp wasn’t working. The ice machine was out of commission. There was a spring sticking out of the side of the bed. The covers on the toilet paper sliced my friend’s leg open. It was cute at first but got worse and worse as the night went on

Easy access located just few blocks from subway entrance. Security was always present on the street at entry point and in the lobby. Elevator needed repair one day/night, but stairway worked just fine. Bed was extremely comfortable. We considered this to be a very affordable option for our 7-night trip.

We booked this hotel with the intention to stay for 4 nights. After the first one we left and we would have left before if we didn’t do a late check in. Once arrived we were given a room that was very dirty: floor and washroom were not clean at all. They changed us a the room and the second was still dirty: the sheets were dirty! And we slept dressed. The room was not fully isolated from the outside and we were clearly hearing the cars and traffic outside. At 1:30 the people in the other rooms started a kind of party, extremely loud. They were smoking in the room! And the smell could be clearly felt in our room! The party continued till 3am.... the day after the left and the staff didn’t say anything. Absolutely horrible place, not sure how they can charge this amount of money.

The hotel rooms are definitely NOT as nice or clean as the pictures show. It was a very disappointing visit. The floors are dirty, there were hairs stuck in my bed sheets and shower towels, and there was a consistent smell of weed throughout my stay. I was not satisfied with the condition of the hotel room at all.

The bath tub was not clean and rusty. floors and toilets were dirty. The bed and pillows were not washed and had stains and hair inside. Not very clean at all, I did not sleep all night. I should of paid half what I paid for this hotel stay. Avoid if possible.

We arrived early and if early check in is available you have to pay a fee. The most of the guest of the hotel seem as though they live in the hotel. Overall, if you are being budget friendly and don't mind a very urban setting you may be okay with staying here.

This hotel was disgusting and we refused to stay there. There was hair from the previous persons stay and stains on the sheets, they did not want to approve our refund even though we never stayed in the hotel. Absolutely disgusting. I would have rather slept in my car.

There was not anything I disliked, its just nature of NYC hotels. Most of them are not in the best shape. You do not go there to really luxuriate. Its a place to sleep.

The staff all dress in casual attire with no representation of uniform, making it impossible to know who works there, and it seemed more like a ghetto hangout than even the worst roach motels I have stayed across the country. This is the most comical and worst hotel experience I have ever had. If a number could be provided for me to speak with at least a manager in charge to go over the failure of communication with me and Expedia's plethora of attempts that would be phenomenal!

The hotel told me they would be holding $100 on my card for a room deposit. They held 194 odd instead! When I asked them to correct this, right after I checked in, the front desk attendant told me the manager would fix it in the morning. This was not the case, I was denied, and they held onto this incorrect amount for several days. Thank goodness it was released. Also-no body wash in the shower, phone did not work in room, cabinets were in disrepair. Found a “roach motel” in the back of a shelf in the room. Cops were also on premises in the morning. Shocking and shady!

I called six times before my reservation and asked Orbitz to call as well. No one ever answered the phone. I didn't take the reservation because I couldn't get anyone on the phone and Im expected to pay???? This is nuts.

I stayed there for 5 nights and they only cleaned it until the 4th night. I asked them every day after the 2nd day and they didn't do it. When we arrived the first night I noticed there were a couple of bananas in the fridge, from the previous customer. Definitely a very poorly managed hotel. I would never stay there again.

In the bathroom, the toilet seat was loose only had 2 full size towels, the body soap dispenser was loose and didn’t pump out out liquid. I attempted to use the phone in the room to contact the front desk to request extra towels, inform them of the loose toilet seat and request an iron but the phone in the room didn’t even work. I then tried to call the front desk on my cell phone and it wouldn’t go through. As I was leaving out for the evening I stopped by the front desk to inform them and they said the lines are down and were not showing any attempt to assist. I will never stay at this hotel ever again nor will I ever recommend this hotel, in fact, I will go the extra mile to let everyone I know to stay away from this hotel. This place was dirty, but everything in the hotel seems newer, just not taken care of well. I’ve been To way worse hotels. You’re getting what you pay for here. Assuming you’re in New York to go out and explore other areas, this place is perfect for a place to sleep. If you’re looking for a hotel for business meetings or parties, find another one.

I arrived and the couple that greeted me were very sweet and welcoming. I got to my room and that's when I notice things weren't as clean as they should be. The laminate floor needed a good sweep/vacuum. The phone was unplugged and stuffed in a drawer. The bed linens were soiled/stained around the hem (I gather from the floor). The body wash was missing a pump and couldn't be removed from its' holder, so couldn't be used. Walls were scuffed and dirty. Art on the wall was broken/damaged. No instruction for using the t.v., so when I reached in to find the binder with information, my thumb touched a big greasy stain. No clue what THAT was. Overall, the room could use a good clean, dusting and a fresh coat of paint. That would help a lot. The people were very friendly and polite. No complaints there. I went to ask for a cup and was given a Domino's cup that was grimy on the outside. I guess you get what you pay for.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in my over 20 years of personal and professional travels. Not only did the room not meet any sort of basic expectations of cleanliness or functionality, but the staff remained completely unresponsive to my various complaints over the four nights that I unfortunately staid on site. This included complaints about damage that existed to numerous items in the room, hair found in towels (to which no new towels were provided either immediately or later on during the trip), and our room did not receive fresh turndown service at all over the course of our stay - even when explicitly requested. Our stay was not so good the place needs keeping up with cleanliness and also needs to be updated furniture is outdated. It would’ve been good if they took care of these things.

Called 3 times day of reservation and no one picked up. Our room was in the basement, next to the open staff break room, with eye-level views of a dumpster. After paying, staff told me the room would be half the price the next day (I'd been ripped off).

The Hotel has a “Music” theme, which being a part of the Music Industry intrigued me. Unfortunately, it doesn’t tie into anything. No music was actually playing at the Hotel to make the connection. Some décor depicts music themes, but nothing else sadly. Elevator is really slow and there's only one in the Hotel. The Room was clean, but small and not what’s exactly shown in the pictures (Camera tricks?). The Bathroom was fine for what it was, The Towels that we had (not many) were mid-size and not the typical large ones. There was also no hook to place them on after use. The Refrigerator had a puddle of water in it. No temperature control and no Freezer. There’s no Ice Machine made available to Customers, only upon request by the Manager. Very odd. The Phone didn't work, so we had to take the Elevator back down for the request. We had an issue with the Toilet. Front Desk Employee (night shift) had an attitude when we requested for a Plunger and more Towels. I paid $200 just for the night, which I find too expensive for the experience we’ve had. Price is normally $100/night from what I researched. Stay here if it’s a last resort option, but I'm sure there are better options.

It was okay. Very outdated and towels are HORRIBLE. HOWEVER, Nice bed nice little view and quiet. Definitely wouldn’t pay more than $150 a night for it. Kind of easy to find free parking around Brooklyn.

The room had no curtain. The room phone wasnt working or plugged in. No ice bucket Available (a small thin plastic bag was given for me to put the ice into. Eventually it melted and flooded the area). The fire detector was falling off the ceiling.

This property has amazing potential to be a welcome space for artists. The rooms have wonderful design and overall appeal. I would highly recommend a younger staff at the front desk. Frauds!!!! This “hotel” is in FACT a shelter. You have displaced families living in this establishment (which the government is paying for) and the owners are in fact disguising this establishment as a hotel when in fact it’s a shelter. The room was a small a a closet, did not look like anything on the picture. Sheets were dirty; sink stopped up; workers sitting on the beds upon our arrival, watching T.V.; amongst a bunch of other unethical things, such as our comforter having dried blood stains on them. Sink stopped up in the bathroom; water wasn’t hot!!! The my charges both myself and my friend a $100 holding fee and we were staying in the same room. Just FRAUDS!!!we slept in all our clothes including shoes! Disgusting.

It was a decent location. unfortunately my room look like it had a crime committed in it there was scuff marks everywhere a bloody fingerprint some of the cabinets didn't close, pretty much everything in the room was unplugged when I got there. The staff was nice for the most part. Reviews I saw prior to booking said that it was almost a 4.2 star hotel but definitely was not even close to that. It was okay for one night probably won't stay again.

The outside of the hotel looks modern, and the indoor lobby is the same. However, upon walking in, we were very aware of a pot smell that we never get used to with how many times we entered and exited the building. We don't care that people use it, but the smell isn't the most welcoming. Because we arrived earlier than the 3PM check-in time, the front desk agent allowed us to keep our bags up front with baggage labels they provided to ensure our luggage stayed together until we returned. We came back around 8 that night, and someone else was at the desk. He was not as friendly and wasn't very helpful when we asked for additional pillows and blankets or when we asked why the room phone wasn't working. I also called them several times prior to our visit and was never able to get anyone on the phone. When we did get to our room, we immediately noticed that there were scrapes on the walls and furniture and that some of the furniture hadn't been maintained. The bed sheets were fine, but the bed was just OK. We both LOVED the shower because it had a rainfall head as well as a handheld head, and it was incredibly spacious. The toilet was a dual flush toilet, and the mirror had lights. The TV had Netflix and Amazon access for those with accounts. This hotel is located only 3 small blocks away from the 36th Street and 4th Avenue subway station which allowed for a lot of easy travel.

The area is nice. The hotel, on the outside looked nice too. The room was a little rough around the edges it could use some touch ups and I could also smell the remenants od smoke on the floor I was staying on and in my room which sucked but it wasn’t entirely off putting. Room was clean but not as clean as I’d like it to be there were random stray hairs and dust on the floor in parts of the room. Would I stay there again? Yes for the price and the staff at check-in and check out were really nice and helpful but that’s about it.

The front desk person was very friendly; however, I was placed in a basement room, which had similar decor to other rooms, but was filthy and I felt was somewhat unsafe because the few rooms on this lower level are easily accessible via the front door of the hotel. By the way, I wasn't informed that the only rooms left were in the basement until I went to check in. Also, the furniture in this room was in poor condition and the floors were very dirty. I ended up placing tissues across the floor so that I didn't get my feet dirty. Wouldn't stay here again.

It was horrible. First I was lied to by the hotel staff abt my room. Then when I get to my room. The it was not clean the furniture was either old or broken. I left after 2 hrs. This was honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and being lied to by the staff abt my room was the worst part

He dresser the a.c barely blew any air the sink water pressure was low and the tub had hair in it like they didn't even clean the room the bed sheet were dingy and before I lay in the bed I always check the mattress and the sheets it had stains In them and lil blood stains like someone had a small cut and it ended up on the bed for the amount of money for that room ur was not worth the stay this dont deserve no stars until they renovate all the rooms because it's a shame how they have ppl sleeping never again will.i waste money on this place

The surrounding area is fine. Coney island and Atlantic mall is easily accessible. Management may need either new housekeeping staff or better cleaning supplies because fully clean sheets was hard to come by. there is also visible wear in the furniture in the rooms which is a bit off setting. Desk staff fairly nice.

I walked in and sat down next to this man who was on the phone in the waiting area. He was older and of Indian decent. No one was at the front desk so I was waiting for about 10 minutes. Then the man turns to me and says, "Ma'am do you need something?" I said, "Do you work here?" He said, "Yes" I said, "Oh, you're sitting down on this couch I didn't know you work here." And then he had the nerve to say, "Am I not allowed to sit down?" I'm not even gonna finish this conversation.. The place is filthy. It's an old building but rooms have new appliances and whatnot. It's unfortunate bc there's so much potential, but the housekeeping is trash. The hallways small like cigarettes and carpet is filthy. The rooms are filthy. My floor was sticky so I laid bath towels to walk. My shower door wouldn't close all the way. Comforters weren't clean. Duvet had no cover. The only thing on the bed that looked clean were the pillow cases. So I pulled one off a pillow and slept on top of that on top of the comforter. Used bedsheet as my blanket. Found ants. Killed them. Lamp was gross and ripped and crooked and just a no. Walls were filthy. Headboard was dirty. There was writing on the wall. Mirror by night stand was broken. Now I always expect pictures online to look better than what it looks like in real life, but this is just unacceptable. They didn't even give me a receipt after check-out. She said I booked through Expedia so Expedia will send me a receipt, which is inaccurate.

The front desk receptionist clearly uses the hotel as her hangout with her friends- the small lobby was packed. Our room smelled of smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. Our window was open and someone’s flip flops were next to the bed. We confirmed that we were in the correct room, but it appeared that it had been used prior to our arrival. We won’t book with this hotel again.

We were there 3 years ago and it was a nice experience, had a cool breakfast room downstairs which doesn’t exist anymore. We returned because it was good value for the money and the location was great. This time our expetience was terrible. Old dirty white comforter with no cover, dusty room floors, lousy service... The clerk wasn’t even on premise for our checkout at 10 o’clock ! Our room didn’t get cleaned during the day, we asked for a new comforter and it was never delivered to our room, had to ask again.... The furniture is not aging well, overall the hotel condition is run down. The good points are location and comfortable mattress.

When I checked in, they charged my card for the total amount of my stay, and didn't believe I'd booked through a third party. I kept being told I'd have to talk to the manager or call my third party. I even sent them a copy of my receipt and confirmation from Hotels.com. I had to argue with them three different times before they believed I'd already paid. I felt compelled to call my bank and note that I'd NOT signed or agreed to pay the amount they put on my card. After I left, the charge was eventually lifted, but I was very unhappy with how they treated me about it. The hotel was also very unclean. There was a rubber glove in the hallway on the floor, and they never cleaned under the beds. Other than this, it was fine- the pillows were comfortable and the rooms had a nice modern look. The area does NOT feel safe for one who's unfamiliar with NY or that area of Brooklyn, and even with Industry City a block away, there is not much to do. I was there on business and took the train or Lyft to other parts of the city for better food and entertainment.

It looks like this hotel is going broke. They do not re-supply soap in rooms, no lotion, the towels are thin and small. The hotel eliminated breakfast in the morning.
