Overall the hotel is clean, staffs, specialty housekeepers are nice. It’s convenient location for other things. However, I couldn’t sleep well every single night because the air conditioning is too loud.
- 4/5
The hotel should use a different air refresher. It stinks in the lobby with cheap perfume. W couldn’t wait to get out of the lobby. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping does a great job with cleaning the rooms.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing!!
- 2/5
The location. There was building work going on which was not mentioned on the website. Drilling next to our room! Check-in took ages as rooms weren’t ready and we were consequently put in a smaller room. The receptionist took phone calls whilst she was serving us.
- 2.5/5
Location is great. Subway is 2 min away. Paying $2xx-3xx/night for a small room. And the hotel was under renovation with so much noise during daytime but was not warned when booking
- 5/5
Very good zone
- 5/5
Andre was helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable and the margaritas were reasonable and good in the Cantina.
- 3/5
Housekeeping was available daily, although there were no water bottles, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided in the room, which we had already expected. The hotel lobby felt old and somewhat untidy. Additionally, the water dispenser in the lobby was broken for 3 out of the 6 days of our stay. The aircon was too old and too noisy. We also requested to store our luggage at the hotel for one night while we traveled to another town, but this was declined due to space constraints.
- 3.5/5
Great location for visiting NYC. The actual facilities could use a refresh. Our room was tiny. Too small for a rollaway bed to fit. The bathroom fixtures needed repair. The bed frame stuck out at the foot of the bed by a foot creating a tripping or injury hazard. The hot water dispenser in the common area didn’t work.
- 2.5/5
The pictures were deceptive. It portrayed a luxurious hotel experience when its more like a local motel. Small elevators, small rooms and corridor. Very tight. They converted a corner apartment building into a hotel. Locals hanging out near the entrance. I won't stay here again.

The convenience of the location. Somewhat affordable. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Lobby wasn’t too inviting. There were drinks in a fridge but water cost $4.00.
- 4/5
It was conveniently located to what we needed.
- 4/5
Room was clean and housekeeping was daily. Cantina restaurant downstairs was a bit of a mismatch-Mexican restaurant/nightclub which was very loud.
- 3.5/5
Quiet so I can sleep peacefully.

I will stay here again when I come back to New York. Excellent place to stay , close to everything around New York.

The staff was very helpful and friendly! One of us uses a wheelchair (ambulatory wheelchair user), and the elevator and room was accessible for us. It might not be accessible for someone who is not ambulatory, depending on the width of the wheelchair, because it is kind of a tight space (but we knew that's how it is in NYC!). The location was good, because it was easy to get into and out of taxis on Suffolk Street. There is a nice playground just a few blocks away that my son liked. Check-in was quick and easy. I thought the rate was decent for being in the city, especially when I compared it to other hotels nearby. There are several places to eat very close to the hotel, and you can also order from the hotel restaurant. One of us used the subway, and there is a station that is very close and convenient, just up Delancy street a little over a block away. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again! The front desk staff was super nice!

The rooms were not as clean as it looks in pictures. Some hallways smell like homeless ppl. Staff were ok. There wasn’t even water bottles in our room and when we asked for water bottles, they charged us $3 a bottle. The gym is a joke. And overall review is I wouldn’t stay here again even though the location was great.
- 4/5
average hotel room, thought it would be bigger and they told me I had a balcony which I did not.
- 4/5
The staff was exceptional! There were a few noisy hotel residents, they were quickly removed or asked to be quieter.
- 5/5
Clean and eat stay! The front desk staff were personable and helpful.
- 4/5
This was a solid place. Decently clean, good location, free coffee. Would consider staying here again.
- 5/5
Clean, the workers was nice, I love the placement, they honored the booking and location and the gym I tried to say my flight got delayed and asked if I can have an extension and they tried telling me to extend it to 12pm or 1pm was gonna be $150 but when I spoke to a female she didn’t charge me… which implies they just charge you on the fly

Friendly staff. Let me leave the suitcase before and after my stay. Clean room. All good. Great value for money as other hotels in the same area were much more expansive. Libby looks cheap and sofas are very dirty. I wish they had put water in the rooms.

Convenient location. Clean but quite dat d. Getting facelift right while we stayed there
- 4/5
The air conditioning was excellent — the room cooled down instantly, and when it got too cold, warm air came out straight away as well. We didn’t try the breakfast, but there was a water filter, vending machine, and coffee machine available near reception for guests to use. Overall, a comfortable stay with very helpful service.
- 4.5/5
It’s clean and great location. Definitely will come back. The window is thin, I could heard the traffic from outside

Didn’t like the neighborhood staff was super friendly the lobby was very outdated room was clean but super small
- 4/5
Room was mostly clean, minor staining on carpet and bedsheets but nothing concerning or dirty. Reception staff was nice the first day of our stay but were a bit more reserved. AC definitely works!
- 3/5
We didn’t like the construction on a scaffolding right outside of our window. Or the noisy air conditioning in our room that blew hot air and made a terrible racket so we couldn’t sleep.
- 5/5
The lobby staff and security were terrific! Our room on the 4th floor had been recently renovated and was very clean. Kudos to Andre who helped us get a microwave because it hadn’t been replaced after the room was renovated. They will keep luggage in the lobby before check in or after check out but not overnight.

The room was small but clean and quiet. Not enough towels but they brought more immediately which we appreciated. But that wasn’t the only issue. The bed kept sliding sideways off the base and we could not get it to stay centered and then the AC didn’t adjust to on for us and the room got stuffy.
- 4/5
Great people staffing this hotel. Front desk, servicing the room, maintenance guy! Easy access to subway. Reasonable price in NYC terms.

My first time in NYC and it was awesome to have stayed at a place which gave me the flexibility to move around. Staff was extreme nice and professional. I had forgotten my phone charger and manager on duty gave me her personal charger for the duration of the stay which was very appreciated. My room was cleaned promptly each day. Overall, great place to stay.

- 4.5/5
The place was clean and quiet. In addition, you can easily walk to the Chinatown Big Bus pick-up and drop-off station for your tour. The place was generally pleasant; however, I believe plug adapters for international tourists should be available in the rooms. I had to purchase one from the reception. In addition, the room access card repeatedly stopped working, and I had to return to the reception more than three times to have it reactivated. It would be helpful to have a phone in the corridor to contact reception in such situations. Unfortunately, despite the repeated issue, the staff member at reception did not seem particularly concerned. It was quite frustrating, especially considering that for elderly guests, having to use the elevator multiple times for the same issue can be very tiring. Because of this experience, I would rate the service 2 stars. I stayed in room 206 under the name Veron Veko Yala.

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. I liked they had restaurant with DJ. DJ was really good on Friday and Saturday night we went. I chose this hotel as it was close to our event and was 5 minutes walking. No bottled water offered but to buy, it was there. Other than that, no complaints.

My thermostat was broken the first night but they fixed it right away but man that first night was soo cold. Great great staff.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was rude to guy dropping off laundry. She was less than pleasant to me. We checked in, and immediately upon entering the room, got a whiff of urine. AC was broken; literally would come on at all and thermostat had similar issue. Phone didn’t work, but even if it had, the buttons were missing. We returned to lobby and checked out. Awaiting refund status from Expedia.

Super comfy bed, despite the neighborhood (close to all the action in the lower east side), super quiet/easy night sleep. Highly recommend!

The floors did not feel clean. It felt like there was dirt or debris on the floor. It wasn’t until my daughter started her shower that she noticed there was no shower curtain. I had to go down to front desk and ask for one. They got one right away but how could that have been forgotten. The staff was nice, though, and happily stored our luggage while we were out.
- 3.5/5

Showers were so nice and the pressure and heat was perfect! The key cards need an upgrade. Ours would constantly not work and we had to get them recharged because they were affected by wallets, pockets, phones and anything magnetic. The area outside is a bit average - the scaffolding is a bit of an eyesore and there were decorations on it which signifies that they’ve been up for months.
- 0.5/5

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was very nice and cool. Staff were courteous, keurig was in the room which was pretty neat. Walls were a little thin so you could hear people. However when the air conditioning was on it drowned out the noise. But again maybe I didn't program it correctly but it would turn off after a few hours which would wake me up.

It was very difficult to control the hot/cold.I also had to go 4 times to get new keys. But the room was comfortable, the staff very nice, housekeeping very good. I would stay there again
- 3/5
Very low budget , don’t expect much or anything at all
- 4/5
Location was great for our trip. Front Desk staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The air conditioning unit in our room did not work well at all. The room temp was 74 degrees or warmer for the entirety of our stay. It was very stuffy and impacted the ability to sleep comfortably. On two of the three days of our stay, staff came at our request and lowered the thermostat, first to 69 degrees, and secondly to 64 degrees. Yet the room temperature did not cool below 74 degrees. But for that, our stay would have been near perfect.
- 5/5
Staff was great. It would have been helpful to know that the place was under construction before our stay
- 5/5
This is my third stay there, to us it’s perfect
- 5/5

The hotel is easy to reach by transit. They granted our requests: We could check-in early and the hotel provided us with a two-bed room. (There were two of us.) NA

Great staff, nice lobby.
- 2/5
While i understand the hotel was under construction, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, water went everywhere during showering and it took 2 days for the staff to install a shower curtain. Seems a ridiculous issue to have for that long a time.
- 1/5
It’s under construction, so it’s very noisy, and the soundproofing is poor. The room is also small.
- 5/5
In the heart of the Lower East Side, great location
- 2/5
There were construction workers on lifts right at our window, drilling into our wall, as soon as we checked in and it repeatedly happened during the week days. This made us feel like we didn’t have privacy. Additionally, the walls are very thin, and there was a blood stain on our bedding when we arrived.
- 2/5
Breakfast no included nothing
- 3.5/5
I liked the location of the hotel. I liked that we were able to keep our bags there before or after check in. The front desk workers were very kind. The space in between the king bed and the desk in the room did not have a lot of room to move around with. You could not use the chair to the desk and walk to the other side of the room. Possibly needs a smaller desk. I did not love that the bags that were left at the hotel before or after check-in were just left out in the open. I feel as if they should be kept in a more secure place. When I walked in to pick up my bags the front desk worker was speaking to another coworker in their office. It could have been just a second but that’s all it takes for some one to take something that isn’t theirs.
- 4/5
The 1st time I stayed everything was great 5 stars! 2nd time I had almost none of the usual amenities. No microwave, no ironing board, no iron, no remote control, no blow dryer, barely had any TP lol. They were able to give me a few things after a couple of asks, but still frustrating when you are trying to get settled. I can understand that they may have been low on rooms so I will probably give it another try for a future trip. Perfect location, good priced breakfasts for NYC, clean comfortable rooms overall. Thank you
- 5/5
Good deal!
- 5/5
Excellent staff! It woukd be nice to have cereal in their little market. The hot water for tea and the coffee in the lobby was appreciated!
- 3.5/5
Clean and modern room, great value, everything you need for a base to explore NYC! Housekeeping was inconsistent, one day we weren't left any towels, another day we weren't given any cups/coffee, and another a bag of rubbish was left in the middle of the room like they'd forgotten to take it out. Nothing that caused any big issues but was a bit annoying at times.
- 4.5/5
The staff was awesome and accommodating. At check-in we were informed that our request for two beds wasn´t able to be honored, but by our second day, we were moved to a two bed room with a better view of the city! Everyone was a total rockstar! also, the location is great and the Subway was just around the corner. Everything was awesome!

This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The only positive thing about it is its location, as it is close to the metro. Other than that, it has absolutely no good qualities. My biggest expectation from a hotel is that they respect their guests and help ensure a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, this hotel fails completely in that regard. First of all, the staff were extremely rude and uninterested. In my room, there was no TV remote and no hairdryer. I called the front desk and they said they would send them, but no one came for an hour. When I called again, I was practically scolded and told to be patient. When I called once more half an hour later, the staff member on shift had changed and had no idea about my request. I asked again, and this time they told me they didn’t even have a hairdryer available. If your hotel does not have basic amenities like a hairdryer, then do not advertise things on your website that you do not actually provide. On top of all this, what kind of hotel wakes its guests up at 8 AM with construction noise? I woke up in complete shock because of renovation work happening directly behind the wall next to my room. The noise was unbelievable. I honestly thought the wall was going to collapse on me, the whole room was shaking. If you think I am exaggerating, later that same day I met someone in the elevator who warned me not to stay on the lower floors because of the terrible construction. They said they had to change their room. If you are going to carry out renovations, you should not be placing guests on those floors at all. The curtains in the room were purely decorative. They were fixed to the sides and could not be closed. This means construction workers outside can see you while you are sleeping. I had to tie the curtains together with a clip just to get some privacy. The coffee machine in the room was cheap and did not even work. The air conditioning system was outdated, extremely noisy, and clearly very old. Although the location is somewhat decent, I am sure you can find a much more professional and better run hotel for the same price.

No problem! Minor issues: tv remote didn’t work first night. Informed front desk, didnt get a replacement until morning. No ice bucket. Thought the bed was accurate my wife (not a heavy person) sitting/getting on/off the mattress would slide off the bed.
- 3/5
There were pros and cons of this hotel. If your number one priority is cheap cheap cheap then this is a great hotel as it was very affordable especially booking through Expedia. The room was spacious for nyc!! They had really nice staff. If you are younger and interested in trying local bars then that’s a great perk being close to that as well. The cleanliness was okay and they do have a water refill station which was nice and they will keep your bags before and after check out BUT do consider the bags are left out in the open and are assigned numbers. When we received our bags they did not check to verify it was ours and that didn’t make me feel great. The lower east side is hit or miss. It’s really not the best street although nothing dangerous happened to my group. The hotel is close to the subway station and it was nice. Overall you get what you pay for and it was a great hotel for the price!
- 5/5
The room was a little dated but honestly, very well kept, the best price point possible for this level as well. Overall, I was very happy here.

I expected a comfortable and professional stay, but instead I felt frustrated and ignored. A hotel should make guests feel welcome and cared for, and unfortunately this place did the opposite. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made in cleanliness and customer service

The access to MTA was really convient. The Cantina restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly. The size was small and there was construction going outside my window that disturbed my sleep.

Overall good stay. Hotel is very close (3 min walk) to the Delancey/Essex subway station that will take you pretty much on any subway line. I paid more for the “city view/high floor” but probably wouldn’t if I came again, was just an average view. There’s a parking garage two blocks over on Essex (5 min walk) for $50/night so the no parking worked out. Front desk was always nice. Would definitely stay here again if/when I come back to New York!

Overall good stay. Hotel is very close (3 min walk) to the Delancey/Essex subway station that will take you pretty much on any subway line. There was a lot of noise from the staff banging to get things out of the cleaning room. When they were going to clean rooms the doors were slamming and the vacuum was hitting the walls and doors very hard. I couldn't sleep in the afternoon with all the unnecessary noise.

Was a bit chaotic. Lots of people waiting in the main area. The staff felt a bit flustered but were extremely nice. Took a little extra time to get properly checked in. Was probably just a hectic day more than it being a problem overall.

I love this location. Front desk was very nice! It’s so close to many locations on lower manhattan. The room was great and well kept. Besides we only went to the room to sleepy, we were out enjoying New York City most of the day.

neighborhood slightly sketchy especially at night
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean, quiet and warm
- 5/5
Everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. the rooms were updated and in excellent shape. The hotel was quiet from interior and external noise. Breakfast and staff was amazing… wish we didn’t receive the free breakfast vouchers 2 days late.

One thing that would further elevate the experience is if the Hotel Concierge would be trained to add more finesse in their service and communication though they are nice and decent and they would help you, adding that finesse and professionalism and also anticipating the needs of customers and being proactive with helping us would take it the extra mile like for example as I brought down the trolley to load baggages inside our uber after check out, a little help would be nice. But so far overall very happy with our stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful...room was clean and cute like a bigger dorm room it was perfect
- 5/5
Staff was great. Easy access to the subway.

Clean room . Excellence room service.
- 4/5
All NYC hotels tend to have small rooms and are expensive for what you get - it is what it is. This one is close to attractions of Lower East Side like Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Tenement Museum. Or head over the bridge to Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Our two double bed room was very clean. The beds were comfy. A Burger King is across the street. A McDonald's is one block away. Staff was courteous. And the subway is one block away.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was nice, just wished the heat stayed on for a longer duration during it’s scheduled time to power on.

Nice hotel staff, clean hotel. Food wasn’t very good & is overpriced. Decent amenities
- 5/5
Hotel was very convenient to subway stop (Delancy/Essex St). Stayed for 4 nights. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
- 3/5
Basic hotel, under renovation, staff courteous, room met our needs - hotel informed us breakfast not included
- 5/5
Clean and quiet room. Front desk staff were pleasant. Management was caring enough to send us correspondence to make sure all was good and to thank us. Good place.

Nice staff. Good location but the noise level from the traffic outside kept me awake even with ear plugs. I love that it was clesn but the cleaning smell in the lobby gives you headaches its so strong.
- 5/5
Staff were very welcoming. Great room for the price too.
- 5/5
Clean room. Convenient location. Wonderful staff. Comfy beds.
- 5/5
Staff (Diamond) was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Room is good size for NYC. It's right next to subway so it's convenient. Neighborhood is little bit rough but overall it was nice stay.

- 5/5
Room was spotless, staff was courteous and friendly. Hotel lobby was welcome and inviting. I loved everything about my stay except the hotel’s location, but it was close to the event I was in town for, so it worked out. Thank you!
- 5/5
Clean, convenient.
- 3/5
Hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, and offers value rooms in lower east side of Manhatten. The hotel feels a bit dated, but the room and bed was comfortable, and staff polite, friendly and helpful. The restaurant had bizarre decoration and the food was poor standard - save your money and eat at one of the many great restaurants in NYC.
- 5/5
Great hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming - went out of their way to be helpful. The room was very clean as was the lobby. The decor was updated in both the room and lobby. Safe neighborhood and easy walking distance to subway and bus. Free coffee and tea available which was convenient. Room was standard size fior NYC, a bit small but had everything you need. Wish price was a bit lower, but was competitive for the area. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Great and easy access to good food
- 4/5
Room was clean and everything worked. The staff was the best part of this property. They were very helpful & kind.
- 4/5
The rooms were a decent size and were clean. The main issue was with the check in process. My original booking was cancelled without notice because of a card processing issue (even though I selected pay at hotel and it was well before check in time). I rebooked, and added another person to the reservation over the phone because my flight was cancelled, and when she got there her name wasn't added. So, some problem solving an dcommunication issues, but the area is decent. Easy subway access, food and entertainment options in the area.
- 3/5
Staff were awesome! Very friendly, welcoming, and personable. I forget the gals name at the front desk, but she was wonderful especially! Room was way smarter than expected. Water pressure was absolutely garbage. That needs to be fixed asap. Definitely will not be stay here again bc of that reason. Did not have the breakfast. Air conditioning was good but the thermostat was glitchy. The room looked nice when we walked in the but door was so stuck together than I had to kick the door to get it open. The shower floor needs to be scrubbed better. It looked and felt dirty. More towels should be provided.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was fine - but the area itself feels unsafe and unclean. I will not stay in this area again.
- 3/5
Lots of construction noise on the property and street noise from the room
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff.
- 4/5
Clean room and helpful staff.
- 4/5
Very nice staff, who were super helpful & funny. Everything was clean and orderly. Good value.
- 2/5
For the price I paid (around $500 per night), I expected a standard hotel environment with proper guest security and restricted access to guest floors. Instead, anyone from the lower residential floors could freely access the hotel floors, which made us feel uneasy throughout our stay. Had I known this in advance, I never would have booked this property. This kind of information should absolutely be disclosed on the hotel’s listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking.
- 3/5
WiFi did not work with my Chromebook because of your Spectrum captive portal. Took an hour with the front desk to get it fixed with Spectrum Support.
- 5/5
Good help at desk Easy to regulate heater
- 5/5
The room was tio small
- 5/5
Ugly blue film on the windows, stinky air freshener in the lobby and constant smell of pot in the hallways. The staff were all very kind and welcoming and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the clean rooms every day.
- 4/5
Great location - excellent staff!
- 1/5
There were tarps and something metal outside on the walls smacking against the building right outside our window. Completely unable to sleep due to the noise being so loud and they stated they were full and could not change rooms. Show handle just kept spinning in a circle and the water would not turn on
- 5/5
- 5/5
This location is great and pricing was better than we found at other places. Room is bigger than when we stayed at the W.
- 5/5
So grateful that all our needs could be met with this stay. Friendly staff, able to hold our luggage right before arriving and after leaving, easy to use and clean facilities, an easily accessible location for dashing about the city. For a former NYC resident, I had a great time living in the LES for a week close to unique coffee shops and stores: an area of NYC that felt like a combination of no frills meets hip and exciting. Cities are constantly changing of course so I always keep this in mind and read reviews when planning.
- 5/5
Cassandra at check in is very welcoming.
- 5/5
The staff was especially helpful
- 5/5
This property is a consistently good deal. Walkable, close to lots of restaurants and clubs, very artsy area.

- 5/5
Location is close to so many restaurants and shopping. Excellent hotel staff! Rooms and entire hotel areas very clean and comfortable!
- 2/5
The location is good for the lower east side area. However, it seems as though this house houses homeless people. Which I am all about, however when paying a not cheap nightly rate, I would prefer to not have that. First night we stayed, there were people sleeping on the couches in the lobby. Which then also meant that the complimentary water/coffee/ tea was then never put back out.
- 5/5
Very pleased with our stay there. Would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
The team and facility are great. The location is close to Brooklyn and easy to navigate to lots of places in Manhattan. There are food, fitness, shopping and entertainment options all nearby.
- 4/5
Next room was good. Staff not very outgoing. Fine though.
- 3/5
However, the first few floors of the hotel have been turned into some kind of accommodation for homeless. The lift sometimes had a smell of cannabis, there were some dodgy characters outside the hotel and in the stairwell. My friend had an altercation with one such person. Another of our party saw someone lying on the lobby floor when the lift doors opened on one of the lower floors. As a result we did not feel safe. We spoke with the reception staff who were lovely & apologetic, but it not their problem to fix or apologise for… I am not in the way of leaving negative reviews, however if I had been aware of the situation in the hotel I would not have booked this hotel in the first place. We felt uncomfortable & unsafe at times
- 2/5
Staff was fantastic however the hotel itself needs some maintenance.
- 5/5
Nice hotel in the LES at a nice price. Recommend.
- 5/5
Hotel was beautiful and great, just to be careful in nearby streets in evening.
- 5/5
We stayed one night prior to cruise and found it to be comfortable and in an area where we could get to a store or restaurant very easily. The front desk personnel was very friendly at every encounter. They even held our luggage when we wanted to grab breakfast prior to departing for the port. It was a good experience.
- 5/5
great spot close to the subway and fairly safe area as well. Would recommend
- 5/5
The staff was excellent! Great customer service. The room was comfortable and clean. The outside of the hotel was under construction and a bit of a mess. Scaffolding and workers at the entrance.
- 5/5
Very clean. Excellent customer service
- 5/5
Good location, clean rooms
- 5/5
The best part of it was that u guys are helping homeless people too.

- 5/5
Very friendly and clean
- 5/5
Clean, staff friendly, convenient to take subway, easy to find food. Reasonable price in downtown manhattan. Recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The location is shady
- 5/5
Another big plus was the price. For the quality of service and comfort provided, I found it to be a great value. I chose this hotel specifically for my trip to New York , and I’m glad I did. It made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! And the staff at the front desk wonderful , Andres , Maria and other 2 ladies.
- 5/5
The front desk was super helpful and nice
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our biggest issue was there were no curtains that completely closed. Need those in the rooms.
- 5/5
This hotel was very nice for the price you pay! Everything was clean and in good working order. It is close to a major subway station so access to just about anywhere in NYC is just a short walk and a subway ride.
- 5/5
Second time at this hotel and loved it! Clean, friendly staff and so close to the subway!
- 4/5
The room was just we needed. Centrally located and easy to access subways, convenient, clean. We were on the go so didn’t need anything super fancy, just a clean place to get some sleep. The price was fine for what we needed. Staff were nice!
- 5/5
Staff and accommodations are great, but after multiple visits I've noticed one of the two elevators are constantly out of service. Elevators are slow too-- management might consider closing for a period in quieter months just to fix or replace both elevators at some point.
- 1/5
Department of Health for some reason is here hosting immigrants and I had an issue with somebody and was not able to get any type of refund or any type of compensation whatsoever.
- 4/5
This was a known issue but was allowed to stay in operation.

Good location, the room is clean and staff is friendly, we will def stay next time visiting here!

The place was good. It was convenient. Bathroom and beds were clean. The price was also very affordable. Free coffee and other refreshments in the lounge was great! Especially at this time of the year that we visited NYC. Overall, it was pleasant and great.

- 5/5
My son lives in the East Village and I visit him several times a year. After trying spots all over the city, I found the HI and now it's my spot. Nothing bad to say. Easy access to wherever you want to go and a Target just a 5 minute walk away. No brainer for me!
- 5/5
Property was close to where we needed to be. Area was a little sketchy, but not bad staff especially at the front desk could not have been nicer. They were great best part of the stay.
- 5/5
Can’t say enough about how friendly the front desk staff was our entire trip. Great people.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Room was clean but really small, lobby is nice they provide cold fruit infused water up front. The breakfast that was included was ok seems to come from the restaurant attached to it. It was delivered through room service which was nice but I wouldn't pay for it again. Check in was easy but front desk staff is not the nicest. Be sure to double check the security deposit that's held from your account, I was charged 2 different amounts for a two night stay and they told me "the system does that sometimes". Unacceptable. I was charged almost 3 times the amount i signed for. Location is convenient about a block or two from a train station, lots of food options around. Hard to find with all the construction outside and the address listed seems to be wrong. Probably won't stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything was great, excellent location
- 1/5
They cancelled our booking when we were travelling to the hotel leaving us with sleeping children and no room after 10 hours travelling. We had to find another hotel on a Saturday night, 6 of us. Absolutely disgusting
- 5/5
Good area near subway. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay here again
- 5/5
Loved my stay here
- 3/5
We requested handicap room and my daughter’s wheelchair didn’t fit in the room the change is to another rooms and still barely made it. They don’t have but maybe one handicap room and they should have said that before!

Good experience
- 4/5
This property is close a lot of walkable food and shopping. Great location and the staff was very welcoming.
- 4/5
Andres and the manager on duty were incredible. Half my group was their first time in NYC and they gave us great recommendations. Great location accessible to subway, chinatown, brooklyn is not far.
- 4/5
DRAWBACKS: The area is a little sketchy however always had police presence which made it a tad more comfortable to walk around. Be very careful with street parking becasue they will ticket or even tow you.
- 5/5
Great location - easy access to the subway. Clean and safe.
- 5/5
Room small, but we'll appointed. Staff friendly and professional. Air conditioning either very cold or too hot.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Very quiet even though on a busy. Was able to walk everywhere I needed to.
- 4/5
Hotel staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Beds were a little small. Excellent Mexican Restaurant located in front of the hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly, the food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Especially after a long day of touring the city.
- 5/5
It had a mini fridge which I required
- 5/5

- 2/5
Staff was not that cooperative
- 5/5
Our stay was absolutely wonderful, great bed, AC, Service.
- 5/5
Excellent service! All employees are VERY attentive and friendly.
- 4/5
The location of the property was good for us, near our daughter's apartment, but the overall location in the city is not the best. The hotel was nice and aside from a dislike for feather pillows, a broken safe and slow draining shower, was more than adequate for our short stay.
- 5/5
Very nice and helpful staff
- 5/5
Great experience for someone outside of NY
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
Convenient location, but it’s a two star property.
- 4/5
Good stay for short duration.
- 4/5
There was scaffolding to the front of the property whilst we were there and this seemed to attract quite a few homeless people from the shelter on the other side of Delancey Street. It felt a little intimidating when entering and leaving the building. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay with good facilities and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
It was very clean, reasonably priced and convenient.
- 1/5
Oof, what a mess. I guess the hotel is under construction? It was loud at odd hours, and there's still construction protection on the windows, giving the room a green hue. Front desk clerk (the woman) was rude at check-in. Finally, they charged me a cleaning fee, citing urine on the mattress (!) - a completely spurious accusation.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, well equipped and in a great location. But most importantly it was QUIET! I never heard a peep from outside or my neighbors, which is a rarity in the city! Staff was helpful and kind!
- 1/5
The hotel has a homeless/transitional floor- 2nd floor which was never disclosed either on their website or on the premise. There was no security or protective access and 2nd floor occupants had access to other floors. We have never seen such a blatant disregard for the safety of hotel guests.
- 2/5
This property change a lot in the pass 2 years
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Nice hotel, good public transport options nearby
- 5/5
Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops
- 2/5
Noisy, the neighborhood still has bad areas. 2 Star Hotel
- 5/5
Cold and inhospitable, this place struck the perfect balance for me. All the staff were great actually, but Cassandra was always present, professional, perfect.
- 5/5
A great hotel experience
- 5/5
Great value for location. Clean and safe room.
- 4/5
There was no shower cubicle available in the bathroom. Find bathtub a bit slippery. Also no bathroom mats available.
- 5/5
Good for NYC
- 4/5
Me and my partner had a great stay in Holiday Inn Hotel. The room with the king bed had a decent size, it was clean and super quiet. The only complain is that the air in the room has a kind of musky scent ( there is a lot of moisture in the room) so the AC has to be on 24/7. The area is super convenient, close to train, restaurants and bars. Also in the evening there is a lot of homeless people around the area so always try to have someone next to you. Overall highly recommended!
- 5/5
Bed & pillows & sheets were ultra comfortable- walk in shower great. Would have liked darker curtains to block out window.
- 5/5
Love the location. It’s easy, cute, and the room had two queens and space. Perfect NY hotel.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
- 4/5
Hotel rooms are comfortable and nice, but when you step out of the room, it feels congested with narrow hallways. Lobby is small and no complimentary water bottles in the room.
- 5/5
We were always greeted when entering or leaving. Staff was attentive and professional.
- 5/5
The staff here was super personable and friendly. The room was clean and services were responsive.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean and
- 1/5
The hotel is half hotel half shelter… you can see drugged people around the hallways…
