    Close to 2 subway stations (bus stop right outside). Breakfast was very good and covered everyone’s preferences. There is 24 hour deli a few steps away from the entrance which made this place worthwhile for us. Rooms were a tad bit smaller than usual but we didn’t mind that much as we spent most of the time sightseeing

    Breakfast is good. Room had multiple issues: missing lamps, missing mattress & clogged shower drain. And these issues were taken lightly & not addressed on time or not at all. Our room was dark & dimly lit due to missing lamps. Rceptionist couldn't offer a different room as they claimed to be fully booked. But as soon as we reported a missing mattress, we were offered a new room, which had a clogged shower drain. When we reported issues, the receptionist kept passing the buck to the manager (who wasn't available then) instead of addressing the issue. The clogged drain was left unattended until we called multiple time over 2 days to get it fixed. We were told the receptionist had not put the issue in the reports so the crew was uninformed of the issue until our multiple calls came in. Overall, very poor service but properly trained staff could make a difference.

    The hotel was perfect for our occasion. We stayed for the Five Boro Bike tour. They let us check in early, park bukes in the room, provide a breakfast. And it was convenient to the locations we needed in lower Manhattan.

Lack of customer service, noisy and heavy traffic disturbance, amenities full nonfunctional (elevator took ages to transport customers), quality of breakfast below mediocrity, overall value for money below zero. Very disappointing, I neither recommend nor book again.

    Good: - clean, comfortable bed (I checked around and under the mattress for bed bugs and saw no sign of them) - hot breakfast with scrambled eggs one morning and mini-omelettes another - nice staff - let me leave my luggage there before check-in and after check-out, and had a good system for keeping track of it - quite reasonable price Could be improved: - The first room I was assigned had a faulty bathroom sink that only provided hot water (not warm, not cold), but when I went down to the front desk and told them, they assigned me to another room, which was fine. However, I had the impression that it was the last one available and I would not have been happy if I hadn't been able to move into it. - The toilet did not have a powerful flush and clogged up, though fortunately at the end of my stay. - During peak breakfast hour, there weren't enough tables available. I took my food upstairs and ate in my room, which was fine, but that was my own idea. (I made sure to keep any trash in a plastic bag so as not to attract bugs.) They did have a sign identifying peak hour and suggesting that people eat at other times if they could. - The bathroom door didn't close because the threshold (maybe added later) was too high. Not a problem for a solo traveler but it could have been annoying for someone else. - Not much room between the door, sink, and toilet.

Help us with every thing and every type of question . I’am not sure about her job description was.     Next day- I get A knock at the door from a man w a clip board. He says: I wanted To see if someone was in this room. Weird.. I say ‘ yep someone is in here’. Then the desk calls and says - VERY RUDELY- ‘you need to come down stairs a verify your ID to be in that room’ I asked ‘Why’ and she said ‘that room has no assigned to a guest’ I went Down with my key holder and showed them my reservation email and assigned from the desk key card paper. I was Dismissed with a “thank you” Then the winter storm hit NYC. I left A day early to miss the snow, when I went Down at 330 am to check out early- the desk clerk was so sound asleep I could Not wake her- I left A note saying I am Checking out early for the storm. They are not replying to my requests to be credited for the day. Also- the elevators are not room key activated and I did See, at my 3am departure, some questionable guys getting into the evevator as I got Off. The desk clerk was OUT COLD- so she didn’t see them! The room was fine, clean, quiet.. breakfast was fair enough.

    Our first night was good. The front desk staff at check-in was polite and helpful, and the breakfast the following morning was good and well organized. However, during the night, at approximately 2:00 a.m., while we were asleep, an unknown person opened our hotel room door. This was extremely frightening and represents a serious security failure. When we contacted the front desk, we were told it was another guest who “got confused,” which does not explain how someone else was able to access our room. Due to this incident, we no longer felt safe and made the decision to check out immediately, forfeiting our second night. While some aspects of the stay were positive, guest safety is fundamental, and this incident overshadowed everything else. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

However, during the night, at approximately 2:00 a.m., while we were asleep, an unknown person opened our hotel room door. This was extremely frightening and represents a serious security failure. When we contacted the front desk, we were told it was another guest who “got confused,” which does not explain how someone else was able to access our room. Due to this incident, we no longer felt safe and made the decision to check out immediately, forfeiting our second night. While some aspects of the stay were positive, guest safety is fundamental, and this incident overshadowed everything else. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

    I checked in at 9 pm and was told room is not ready and will be ready in 15 minutes. It sounds great till now.     Overall an okay-stay. There was still hair in the shower from the previous guest but that didn't really bother me. And the "fitness center" is just a room in the basement of the building that used to be a closet with 1 tread mill, 1 eliptical machine, and 2 pairs of dumbbells so it was kinda unusable to be honest. It's kinda what I expected from an express location like this. But the staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for directions/recommendations.

    Instead of king bed I got 2 kid mattresses pushed together. My feet were hanging off the bed while my head was touching the headboard. Shower had no tub, just tile flooring and a curtain. I appreciated a lot that they sent a text message letting know that one of the elevators was out of service. They keep you updated. My room was clean and spacious. The only thing I suggest is to update the furniture. Other than that, I will stay again in this hotel.

    The staff was super accomodating and friendly, the room waa cozy and bed was comfy even though there was construction outside at least on weekends was quite so we had no issues sleeping, tv is not a smart tv so dont expect to watch shows but NYC is not meant for staying in your rooms so was cool for us. Coffee and water provided in the lobby area overall our stay was pleasant

    I had a high floor room, but the elevators were not too slow. The room was very small and dimly lit, could really have used a desk lamp. The bed felt very small but a king would not have fit in the size of the room. Overall, the location is great and service was very good, quality is not terrible and a relatively good value for lower Manhattan.

    The room was smaller compared to other Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at, but for three people, it was sufficient. After all, it’s Manhattan! The complimentary breakfast was decent, though the dining area was a bit cramped. However, it wasn’t a major issue. One pleasant surprise was that our room had a microwave and a small fridge, even though I was told over the phone that they wouldn’t be available. A minor downside was the extremely narrow hallways. If you have multiple pieces of luggage, maneuvering the luggage cart in and out of the elevator requires some careful angling and spatial awareness. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay—much more than I expected based on some of the reviews.

    Pros: I liked how it was minutes away from a subway station & from the financial district. The front desk worker was super kind and helpful! I think Destiny was her name. She was really sweet. The breakfast was great. Lots of tasty options. Cons: the room was small, it was super noisy at night (I recommend getting a room at a higher floor if possible) The elevators were small and dimly lit, at first I thought the lights were off! The cleanliness was average: I found a hair in the hair dryer, but they took care of my stuff while we were away. My toiletries were neatly aligned in the bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed that. The carpet was old…and gross. I suggest replacing it. There was a woman at the breakfast station that I overheard was a little rude to one of the other guests. When he asked where the milk was, she was clearly annoyed. It was an honest question. Maybe get 2 milk cartons in stock next time.

    Excellent location. Clean and safe. The staff is very helpful and kind, especially the front desk girl with the beautiful red hair (don’t know her name, sorry). She deserves a raise. She does everything to make guests feel at home. 😊
