    The location of the hotel was near the main tourist attractions. The room was very small as compared to a normal hotel room. There was no dedicated space to keep our luggage. The cupboard space was also occupied by the iron stand. The coffee maker was not cleaned, dust had settled on the inner portion of the machine.

    Room size was really good- great for NY! Everything was good- somewhere I might stay again. Location was good but beware of random people but that's common for a hotel in Times Square. Cleanliness of the bathroom could also be improved but overall pretty good!

    Staff were friendly, I was able to check in a couple hours early. In short walking distance to Penn Station/Madison Square Garden. About a 10 minute walk to Times Square if you want to be in a less hectic area. Room was kind of tiny but suitable for 2 people for a queen size bed.

    We got there early around noon. Plan was to leave our luggage until we could check in at 3pm but the hotel allowed us to check in right away which was so awesome because we were all exhausted and dying to take a shower before we started walking everywhere. It was seriously so nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Too expensive for it to not offer breakfast or even the 2 bottles of water in the room were charged for not being "rewards members" or something of those sorts

    All was fine. I am used to higher end hotels butt did not need one as we were only over night and not in the room but just to shower and slept. It was good for how we needed it. Also in general I do not like Time square area but Hyrox was close and that is why we were there!

    The hotel was okay. The rooms are small and look out on to a garment factory next door where you can see into the windows. Not a big deal and the location is great. However, what annoyed me is that one morning around 8am the fire alarm goes off for several minutes and then the staff said it had been set off by someone making toast? They could also be hard to get a hold of via phone.

    They charge for the water that put in the rooms. The receptionist was very rude over asking simple question. An alarm not the clock went off at 6:45am which woke me up. It wasn’t the fire alarm either. Makes me think it was an alarm to get the guest woken up so that they can check out sooner. The view was literally the wall of the neighboring building. I handed my keys at check out and no response of any kind. They need to better train their staff to be cordial. Price was decent for Times Square but getting woken up early after sleeping late was not worth it at all. I would never stay here again.

    Nice place to stay and very close to Times Square and Madison square gardens and Penn station. A little on the small side if you are planning on staying in your hotel for a while. We were a family of 4 but we were mostly out and about so the smallness of the room didn’t bother us. They kept it very clean for us. Would stay again.

    This is a very nice hotel in the Garment district of New York City and close to many Broadway theaters north of the hotel (about 8-10 blocks for most of them: NYC north-south blocks are not a long walk). We found two nice deli's and two really nice bars/restaurants on 9th Ave one block away. It gives the impression of being quite new and it shows in how new the interior infrastructure looks. The room had enough space, about average for a national chain hotel. We didn't feel cramped despite the fact that we had two beds. The beds were comfortable and spacious though not as luxurious as other hotels I have stayed at (they were still comfortable). The bathroom had a very large, walk-in shower and all bathroom fixtures were in great shape. The room has a Keurig coffee maker rather than a drip-coffee maker that takes time to set up. The TV was a large, flat screen and the remote was not hard to figure out. There are some issues with the amenities. There are few. There is no breakfast room, though they do have free coffee. There is a snack display to purchase a good variety of snacks. There is a small restaurant with a bar. Every time we went in (we only went in twice) there didn't seem to be any staff working. We waited a very long time once before giving up and leaving. But, the STAR of the show was Rosanna at the front desk. She did a tremendous job helping us to get our boarding passes printed when we checked out. She is due some really extra Kudos for that

    The room was really clean and comfy - I slept really well and the room was a good size for three of us, with two double beds and three big suitcases.     Location Was forced by staff on arrival to pay the full price of the stay even though I had paid in full at the time of reservation. They would not allow me to take 2 minutes to find the email confirming I had already paid. I went to the room, found the record of the transaction and came back to the front desk and after 20-30 minutes was refunded for the error. On checking out I realized they charged my card AGAIN for the full stay so now I have been double charged a second time. On checking in, a staff member entered the hotel room as I was changing without knocking. I told him to leave. Construction on the floor above which was incredibly loud. Rooms have serious bed bug problems which staff didn't seem to care about when told

    The location of the hotel was great. The room we had on the 19th floor was very quiet, but a little smaller than your average room. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows.     I enjoyed my stay very much. I try to book this hotel because I like it so much. My only comment/complaint is that the pillows are way too soft and the shade doesn’t block out the light the way a curtain does. It was a bit difficult to sleep. But if my only takeaway was bad sleep, I’ll take it. My overall experience here was great.

    Check in and out was quick. Staff extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Room key was down but was escorted to my room and my keycard was ready 30 minutes later so no big deal. Room very clean and a ton of lighting. Bathroom updated with exceptional lighting. Only negative was the AC would run 5 minutes and then cut off. Had to turn it to 65 to cool the room down to an acceptable level to sleep. High temps outside were mid 60’s so should not have needed to run the AC that much. Overall, this hotel met my standards (which most say are high) and I would stay there again.

    The hotel was pretty good in general. Here's the good. Our room on the 18th floor was clean and quiet. We didn't here any other guests, although I can't say for sure if there were guests in any adjacent rooms. We had minimal interaction with the staff but what staff we did interact with were helpful and polite. We did not get breakfast so we can offer no feedback on the food. Now the not so good. The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable. I like a softer bed so this is usually the case for me but my wife likes a harder bed and she complained about the beds being too hard. Also, there was basically no room for items in the bathroom. There were 4 people in our room but no place for 4 people to leave their basic toiletries and no suitable place neither in the bathroom nor the room to hang 4 towels. There was some kind of rack inside the shower but I'm not sure if who ever thought it was a good idea to put it there is aware of how showers work. There was plenty of open wall space in the bathroom for towel hooks but only a single hook on the backside of the bathroom door that already had the hair dryer hanging on it. There was no shelf space to put the hair dryer on so it had to keep taking up some space on the only available hook. When there are only 2 people in the room this issue is not such a big deal but with 4 it is a real hassle.

    The close walk to Madison square garden The parking area we were told to park in had very sketchy men working there. There was a customer screaming that the staff would not give her her car back even though she had keys and was setting her car alarm off. We were told we would get a discounted rate for parking there…there was no discount at all and the rude man didn’t say a word to me when he was bringing my car back.

    Was overall a wonderful hotel to stay at! The front desk lady could have been a little more friendly. Saying hello and welcoming instead of “do you have luggage hear. And the cleaning crew could have picked a different time to vacuum the lobby for it was hard to hear while checking in as a result of the loud vacuum. And it was hard to hear everything appon checking in. And the toilet paper holder was broken. But the room was spaciest. The property was in a great location.

    Booked this hotel for a trip had planned on Broadway. Perfect spot. There is a gatage a few doors up your going to go to first. Its valet parking. Room had 2 queen beds. Clean, organized. Bathroom good size, great water pressure. The hotel is in a perfect walking distance to everything around times Square. Only this is no free brkfst but has a great restaurant inside hotel. Enjoy your stay. We will book again.

    Came for a concert nearby and this was a great affordable stay. It was fairly close to the venue and I felt comfortable enough to walk back and forth, considering I was traveling alone. The hotel staff was helpful and the room was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend!

    First, the good things: the staff was very helpful. The room was clean, but the upholstered chair looked worn, and I wasn’t sure it was clean. The lighting in the room was poor. There is a microwave in a low dark cabinet. I had to use my phone flashlight in order to read the dials. I will not come back here.

    The hotel was in a fantastic location. Unfortunately no breakfast, only a coffee bar. Our room was quite small but adequate. A power outlet in the bathroom was coming off so I had to use my hairdryer plugged in out in the room but no biggie. The staff were SO friendly. Location alone was worth the stay but not sure I would pay the price again with no breakfast included.

    Every time my son and I left and returned, we were greeted..and it seemed genuine. It was so NICE!I asked a favor and Leann was so kind and made it happen. I also asked (when I booked) if they could do a simple birthday decor for a teen. I think the message wasn't clear because there were rose petals and butterly towels on both beds (I was with my teenage son) It was HYSTERICAL. Im sharing this story NOT to cause problems but it was a HIGHLIGHT of our stay because it was so funny. Ive shared with so many friends and it will be a story forever...We've stayed at a lot of hotels..abd NYC hotels are hit or miss. This was the best hospitality we've ever experienced..also, it was so clean..and the fridge/microwave was a HUGE plus.. Thank you for a wonderful stay..we will be back!

    The staff was friendly and very accommodating throughout my visit. They were welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions. The hotel also has a gym with a couple of machines and free weights, which was perfect for a quick workout. There’s also an onsite laundry facility, which is a huge plus for longer stays. The location is excellent — very close to Times Square and multiple subway stations, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay in NYC. I would definitely stay here again!

    Clean room, every staff member we even so much as passed by genuinely greeted us, and it was quiet throughout the hotel. What set this hotel apart from any other stay, in any city was the care they put into our stay. When I made the reservation I had put a note that my husband and I were celebrating our 12th year anniversary, not thinking it would matter to anyone, but we walked into our room to find towels perfectly placed in the shape of a heart, rose petals across the bed, chocolates and a card with a hand written sentimental note from a few of the staff members. It made me tear up. It was a wonderful way to start our anniversary trip. We really appreciated everything they did for us.

    The only uncomfortable moment was seeing his manager speak to him a bit rudely while guests were sitting at the bar. It didn’t take away from our stay, but it was noticeable. As for improvements, I would suggest better lighting in the rooms. There were many lamps, but the lighting overall felt very minimal and dim. Also, I didn’t feel comfortable opening the curtains because workers on an upper floor could see directly into the room. It felt like an “all or nothing” situation between privacy and natural light. Overall, I would rate my stay a 9/10 and would definitely recommend this hotel!

    Room air condition sounded like a tractor but it did work. Room was nice otherwise and clean. The placating was because I asked the staff for spa recommendations in the area and the lady said I don’t know. And I asked her if she could ask someone who may be familiar she said she didn’t know anyone. Very young women, very disinterested in being helpful. However the male bartender was amazing at recommending local food, attractions and spa considering it was -11 degrees.

    While the location was ideal for our trip, this was our last time at a Hilton property. The hotel shows signs of wear and tear. The whole “every other day” housekeeping thing is ridiculous ( because we stayed 2 nights we never had housekeeping). The bathtub safety rail was falling apart, the water was punishingly hot, the shower curtain was stained, the mattress was very firm, the heat and bathroom fan (on all the time) was very loud. They charge 3 dollars for a bottle of water in the room (seriously??), the staff was nice enough although we couldn’t find the name of our housekeeper (who never really came into the room) when we wanted to do the contactless tipping thing via QR code. Add the role of Hilton properties in the current events across the country, and who they let stay in their rooms, and I am more than happy to avoid Hilton for the rest of my life (if this reservation wasn’t booked/paid/non refundable months ago, I wouldn’t stay there in the first place).

    The heat did not work on a day where the temperature was 10° outside. They couldn’t switch my room and gave me a space heater that did nothing. Additionally, the guest staying next to me had a massive dog in their room which they said was for service, but the dog would not stop barking for three hours while I was trying to sleep.

    I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room was a very small in comparison to what you have shown on your website. For two adult adults with two big pieces of luggage. It is a very tight room. The shower had very literal water pressure. I reached out to the front desk several times about it and they never sent anybody to fix the issue. The heater was a constant problem through my entire trip. I continually smelled marijuana coming up through the heater from other rooms and I brought that to the front desk‘s attention and that was never taken care of either. Very disappointed in the hotel and the service.e

    Front desk was amazing, but I didn’t even get free water for my Hilton Honors. I’m not sure exactly what I’m supposed to get for that but I would think at least free bottled water. Also the car park next-door was full so I had to park on 34th St. and the charge is almost $200 bucks for two nights just be prepared. I would stay here again. It is centrally located and like I said, the staff was very good.

    During checking we had an issue and the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of trying to help find a solution which was clearly a miscommunication with 3rd party booking they flat out refused to help. When I asked for a manager they said one was not available. When asked for her name she wouldn’t give it to me, just her first name.

    My first impression was the location of the hotel. It’s very close to Time Square, bus & train station, wax museum, Rockefeller with all brand name retailers. Second, the room was very clean with almost everything you needed.Third, you must the room digital key in order to use the elevator. It’s worth to mention there was a restaurant on the floor if you didn’t want to find a place to eat or drink coffee. Don’t forget the staff was very nice the parking right in front & next to the hotel for $50 (24 hrs). I highly recommended this hotel to everyone.

    Overall it was fine for what it was. But the heating system in the room was incredibly loud. When I finally said something, a nice staff member brought up a space heater and showed me how to turn off the system. So they know there is a problem! Since I had asked for a quiet room because I am very noise sensitive, it would have been very helpful if they had solved the problem from the start or at least indicated that it was fixable.

    The heat was on 82 we had to turn it off to get cool, then back on to get warm. So we did not sleep well. It was that way when we arrived to no avail. The GM did not seem to care and did not even offer us coffee or breakfast.

    Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. Location was about a 12 minute walk to Time Square. Great restaurants, shopping and entertainment close by. The hotel also offers black car service which is cheaper than an Uber or Taxi. You can request the service to bring you from the airport to the hotel by calling and scheduling. We made the mistake of getting a ride from the airport with a company that claimed to be an Uber service. It cost $133.00 for a 6 mile drive/50 minute ride. Unfortunately, we didn’t find out about the service the hotel offered until after we arrived. We will know next time! We 100% recommend Hilton Garden Inn for your stay in NYC.

    This was the perfect little hotel for our stay. Clean. Convenient and staff were friendly. The only downside is the little restaurant is right next to the entrance and it is winter so it was very cold since they kept the restaurant doors open. Not sure why they don’t just close them but the food was very good.

    Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn South felt like discovering a hidden gem in the middle of New York. The room had that classic NYC style... small but smartly designed, spotless, and perfectly run. Everything was clean, organized, and exactly where it needed to be. But the real stars were the staff.     Everyone I interacted with at the hotel was cordial and professional too! Room was clean and nice. The only bad things were totally out of the hotel’s control, such as hearing a lot of noise when I was trying to go to bed (I’m in Manhattan so, that’s a super tough ask anyway) and that the individual running the valet parking operation wasn’t clear about how he did things or had the best communication skills as I showed up there after checking out this morning to pick up my car to find no one to help me without any reasoning, during hours when they’re open to find nobody there and the place locked. I called, texted the phone number provided and even yelled “hello” a few times there, just in case if the individual running the valet parking organization was on the second floor or something like that but I didn’t see him until 15 minutes later as it appeared that he walked back from going to the store. I would’ve appreciated on your website and information available to me that the parking place for your hotel was valet parking instead of self parking.

    Hotel was great. Very clean. Looks updated and in good condition. Room is small like every other NYC hotel we’ve been to. Check in and check out was a breeze. Elevators working with no issues and no lines (common complaint among hotels in the area). Mid town is not a nice place but it’s close to everything and right between herald square/MSG and time square. Would definitely return.

    This property met our needs perfectly. It was in a convenient, walkable location to Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Room service was daily, which is unusual now. Hotel was key card entry only after 5pm. Finally, on check out day, they could hold our bags until 10pm without an additional fee so we could continue to explore the city. We would definitely stay again.
