Location was great! Walking distance to Timesquare and Empire State Bldg. It was clean and service was excellent. Only issue was their air conditioning would turn off at least once a day which makes it a bit uncomfortable since it’s been hot and humid. Staff responded quickly to fix the issue.

Issue I had was the loud noise throughout the night due to room air conditioner off/on noisy process, fire truck siren, police siren, garbage truck and other street traffic noise making it uncomfortable to sleep. I'm aware some of the items describe are out of your control but just wanted to make awareness.

Located in a very central area of NY, walking distance from metro stations, restaurants, shops and attractions in midtown. A few blocks away from Flatiron, which is a very nice part of midtown. Room size is very decent for NY standards at this price range and they are really as advertised. Lots of trash on the sidewalk where the hotel is located, and the works taking place on nearby avenues. Couple of days, the cleaning was not well carried out, needed to call twice for towels replenishment.

Was convenient to Empire State Building and our conference in NYC. Rooms were small but adequate, but unfortunately our room was not fully cleaned as we found food trash in the drawers upon checking in.

There was a party at the Ainsworth restaurant/ lounge where the music was blaring until 2:30 am which allowed for me get 0 sleep until around 3:30 am this was nothing less than a horrible experience.

The breakfast spread was minimal and hence could be better. The staff were accommodating and helpful to your request. A big shout out to Tenzin at the reception who handled the baggages. Was always cheerful and ready to help with anything. He made our stay at the hotel more pleasant and meaningful.

However, the overall condition of the facilities should be better maintained. The restroom in the lobby was in quite poor condition, which was surprising for a hotel carrying the Hilton name. I stayed on the top floor, and the ice machine had an “out of order” sign that appeared to have been there for quite some time. It made me wonder whether there is any plan to repair it.

The room was very small.

Staff was courteous but not very friendly. They dropped the ball on coordinating connecting rooms for us despite me calling multiple times ahead of the reservation to request and remind. This was an inconvenience for me, my wife, and our three kids... despite the hotel's ability to put us on the same floor in close proximity. Had someone at the hotel been paying closer attention to our request in the days leading up to our reservation, this need for a connecting room could have been met. Separately, the bar adjacent to the hotel had a rooftop patio that was quite loud all night on Saturday.

You are misleading people with false advertisement. The room you sold me does not exist at this location. I've explained this 5 times and all I get is you cant come to an agreement with the facility. It has nothing to do with the facility. This is 100% Booking.com's negligence, not the Hilton. I paid for a double room, it states that on the reservation. I got a single room. How complicated can it be. Booking.com is using FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and I expect more than a $78 credit. Wake up, read the damn email and do something about it or I will post terrible reviews on your website. Customer service has been difficult to contact and your responses have been worthless

The check-in process with a digital key was very easy. The room was fine and comfortable, if a bit small (typical for NYC). We appreciated being able to control the heat. We were in town for a short overnight stay so did use additional facilities and skipped the breakfast. Gregory's coffee across the street makes a great latte and there were good restaurants nearby, such as Villa Berulia and the brand new Aromati -- a Georgian wine bar and cafe. This was our first time using the digital key, so it took a minute to figure out that we needed to request it each time we needed it a few moments in advance.

It was ok, check in was quick, staff was fine, the lobby was clean, I don't expect much from a room when visiting the city but my only issue was the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly, there was another persons hair all on the shower wall and then also on the large bath towels on the rack in the shower which was really gross. I would stay again if the price point matched but would probably bring my own towel

The only issue we ran into was the cleaning staff knocked on our door and tried to enter at 8:30am. We told them we were still sleeping and they insisted check out time was 830 am. We tried to tell them no, it’s at noon but they still tried to get us out. It was really strange.

We were in room 306 and heard loud music and bass all night. It was the worst nights sleep. We had another room as well (303) and they heard slamming doors and the elevator all night. - I called ahead and requested a room on a higher floor and when we went to check in, there was no note in my reservation. The front desk was not helpful and said we could wait an extra 4 or 5 hours to get a room two floors higher. The view wouldn’t have been any better so we decided to stick with the 3rd floor. -Housekeeping is extremely slow. We requested extra blankets and it took over an hour and a second phone call before we received them. -The view was absolutely terrible. It was my daughter’s first time in the city and we were very disappointed with our view. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again. It is definitely not a good place to rest and relax after a long day exploring the city

Bedding could have been a bit nicer - they used this overly scratchy duvet cover that was not comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from my room window was horrible. It was a veiw of a run down old moldy building. It kind of looked like it was connceted to the hotel but in a square area apartment looking style with windows and people living with no curtains looking at me while, I glanced out the window. Kind of scary!

It was fine, extremely expensive at over $600 a night but I needed to be near that Midtown area. Next time I would definitely to find something around $400.

The hotel was conveniently located in midtown, which is easily walkable to many popular NYC landmarks. It's also close to several subway stops. The breakfast that was included in the price of my stay was fabulous! Not just yogurt and muffins, but also an omelet station, bacon, sausage, French toast, and many other great options! I would definitely recommend Hilton Garden Inn Midtown to my friends

The staff are amazing! No matter what we needed, they were so accommodating and with a genuine desire to help! I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff were during the entire stay. 33rd street has so many dining options, from sushi, Korean, Chinese, pub grub, pizza, etc. You wouldn't need to go far if you didn't want to. Room was clean! Only thing I would like changed is the fan in the bathroom didn't work and it made the bathroom and the room overall steamy/humid and took about 20 minutes to dissipate after each shower.

This is an older hotel but many rooms have been updated. The staff are very accommodating and personable. This hotel gets booked up fast. It is a block from the Empire State Building and within walking distance to the subway, bus, and train station.

Hotel was nice. We lost AC a couple of times. Once it was a filter, second time was because we had the AC on high. Be nice if they let us know that it should be set to low to best effort. Restaurant attached to hotel looked nice but was too loud for us to want to go to. More of a club. Front of hotel was nice and kept clean. Would recommend if price was comparable to others in the area.

Lady at counter during check in wasnt very friendly or helpful. No bar soap in bathroom and was told they discontinued bar soap in favor of body gel. Not buying it. Room service came in while we were sleeping without knocking.

Nice room, very cool on a 100 degree day! New York is a city that never sleeps. The noise levels were ok. Excellent service always accommodated. Our room was clean every single time we went out! The only negative I have is there was not enough outlets for charging stuff and my husbands cap. We brought an extension cord.

Terrific front desk staff

The Hilton Garden Inn Midtown/Park Ave is a great small hotel. The location was excellent for my meetings at NYU Langone and the location is very walkable from places like Grand Central, Times Square, and Penn Station/MSG. Fitness center was good and business center was good for printing up some last minute documents. The staff are awesome. Great value all around.

Again, the staff made all the difference!

Great location to the subway and shopping.

Had everything we needed, more ammenities than most, right next to the 6 train, brought us everywhere we wanted to go. Had a nice coffee shop across street, Walgreens open til midnight 2 min walk. Comfortable beds. Hot water. View of Empire State Building. Friendly staff. Would stay again 10/10

I would stay here again for its cleanliness and responsiveness of the staff. Everyone I spoke to was willing and able to help. The beds were comfy and the AC worked perfectly.

The staff was very helpful with our meeting supplies that got delivered. They also helped us move to a higher room that was quieter for our early night.

Great location, good breakfast. Rooms are on the smaller side, but I guess that is because of New York.

It was comfy but I feel like the beds for two people in one bed are to small . Also for the price you pay for one day breakfast should be included.

There is no proper lighting in the rooms.

Warm welcome with friendly staff. Room clean and spacious. The mattress was comfortable but the wooden bed base sticks out from the mattress and we kept knocking into it which was quite painful. Great location and would definitely recommend though.

Basic with good location

It was a quiet area and it had several stores and restaurants nearby. Subway station was across the street. The only down side was the mattress was not comfortable. Overall it was a nice convenient stay.

Love it, great location and great attention to detail. The staff was amazing and they are attentive to all your needs. I then had to transfer to another Hilton Hotel, one of the more expensive ones and the quality and service was not there. Even though it was more expensive.
