The check-in was nice and smooth thanks to Oumou at the reception. Unfortunately we found tat the room was okay but the bed was terrible . you lay on it and both sides sunk in. The TV had no apps connection although they told us we were supposed to get them. After the first night we both woke up with back pain. In the morning we reported to Oumou the problem. Immediately she started helping us. She figured out if there was an available room. None were available at that time but she worked in reserving one for us that would be available in the afternoon. We made our luggage and left tem in the Lobby while we went out exploring. When we came back she had our luggage already in the new room, where the bed was nice, the TV worked. She was extra nice and saved our 4 days stay in New York City. Oumou was really extra nice, friendly, showed us that she care and helped. Thank you

This no frills hotel is a great place to stay in Manhattan with an excellent cost-benefit ratio. While the hotel could be a little better maintained, the location, breakfast and staff made up for it. I will go back.

Central location. Modern and very clean. Breakfast included was great. Also hotel offers free coffee and mini bottle water, even very nice cookies one afternoon. Nothing.

Very good location, with Penn station only 10-15mins away on foot. The room was on the smaller side, but that is a given for Manhattan. Bathroom was a good size. The room was nice and clean, however it took us some time to realise that the AC unit was still running even when turned off from the thermostat. The first night we spent there we were too tired to realise it and woke up in the middle of the night because the room had gotten cold (we were sleeping with earplugs so couldn't hear the unit running). The 2nd night we tried to cover it with towels until we finally raised it with Reception who were able to turn it off from their system. The room had breakfast included, which was continental style. Decent selection, but nothing spectacular. Overall the stay was reasonable value for money, considering it was in Manhattan. I think it would be helpful to give guests the heads up upon checking in that they have the option to request the AC to be turned off completely. The feature might be useful in the summer, but during our visit the weather was unseasonably cold. The street the hotel is on has a lot of flower shops which display their goods on the pavement, making it incredibly difficult to navigate (especially for us, with a manual wheelchair). Not much that the hotel can do about it, but it was quite inconvenient.

There was fresh coffee 24/7, cold water infused with fruit every day. The free breakfast was great and really saved time and money. The staff was outstanding, always nice and helpful. The location was really good, close to Subway stops and in one of the flower districts, beautiful flowers, and smells each day as you walk through the area. Great transportation from Newark airport to the hotel, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Plenty of shops nearby. Did not like faucet placement on the bathroom sink it made everything harder to do as well as noisy when turned on. Smoke detector is too close to bathroom door so if it gets too steamy it sets it off. Room is extremely small for two beds.

That it was close to my destination It wasn’t clean. There was hair in the shower and in floor in bathroom and a hard crusty substance in the chair. The bathroom was not clean.

The position Falsely claiming that our beds were standard size double beds! They were 120cm wide!!!!!! Just look at the image to understand the size of the bed! Considering that we are both fairly thin!!!

I didn’t get to have breakfast as my only option was waffles which was fresh. But the eggs didn’t look appealing and the rest was pork product which I don’t eat.

The staff was very helpful always. You get free water any time you want which is great, my only recommendation would be to have a water dispenser instead of giving away bottles of plastic which is not very enviormental friendly. Breakfast was ok.

We loved the central location with all landmarks within walking distance. The breakfast was great! The double beds are very tight. We guess it was 1,2 m wide.

Great location. Cool area- edgy. 15 min walk from Broadway plays. 6 min walk to Penn station. 40 min walk to soho. I would stay there again. Comfy bed. Great value for what you get. Nice staff, felt safe as female solo traveller. The fruit juice dispenser in breakfast room was out of service For the 3 days I stayed. They did offer plenty of bottles of water at reception though. And one morning when they ran out of coffee and I asked it was filled within 5 minutes.

The snacks and the infused water set up in the front were very tasty. Really appreciated it thank you! Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was no juice station available, the eggs were very liquidy, and there were no sausage patties or bacon provided. Offering a few more options would make the breakfast experience much better.

Overall, not a bad place, it was budget friendly and very close to a subway station with the 1 train, very easy access to uptown and downtown with all local stops.

Breakfast the usual, let's be honest, motel type breakfast. roof terrace clean, comfortable furniture, nice setting but two large pieces of equipment are very noisy, too bad. But a good spot to be near transportation. Room size small but workable. All around I would definitely stay again.

Free breakfast was a huge plus. The location couldn’t have been better. They stored luggage for the day which was a lifesaver.

Building was under construction of door etc, patio closed up for winter but still had access. Overall great find for the price

Excellent location. Room was ok no complaints, breakfast great. Loved it & I will book again soon. I did not like I had to make a $250 deposit, I did not see anything related to it in expedia, you should inform that.

It’s close to a subway, really clean, solid breakfast, the bed and pillows were exceptional, room is great, and staff was incredibly friendly, great service for the price. Everything was solid.

The only pending matter is that we are still waiting for a response regarding the refund of one night, as due to severe weather conditions and a storm, we had to move our flight forward and cancel that night. We are confident the hotel will get back to us soon regarding this matter. Aside from this, our experience was very positive, and we would gladly recommend the hotel for its quality of service and attention to guests.

Unfortunately I didn’t get much sleep, the noise from the heater was so loud I had to switch it off. But then there was a loud flooding sound every now and then that seemed to come from the bathroom.i think I managed to get three hours sleep.

The bathroom sink was clogged up a bit.

Nothing really. Everything!!! Honestly double charged and another hold of $1440. Trying to get reimbursed has been nothing short of a nightmare. I’m not one to ever give a bad review but this place is AWFUL. Stay clear unless you want to be ripped off. It’s days later and was fully charged on one card and the hold is still pending on another. I’ve now been given 5 different stories but the hold on the other traveler with us is off already and they charged my card for her room and my room. This was so stressful!!! Rooms are extremely small and no one has a clue what they are doing!!!!

Perfect location, comfortable, Darren from the front desk is super friendly, you can walk to several iconic sites in NY, the room is a bit small but it is comfortable and we had daily housekeeping.

No the AC didnt work the heater was in and we could not change the temp and we called the front desk 5 times to.ask them to do.something about it. We were woken up early in the morning after a late night by someone from your staff changing lightbulbs outside our room. They needed to remove part of the ceiling to do this. It was really loud.

Fantastic opportunity of 24 hr rooftop seating area to visit to take our own food and drinks. Stayed in a double room - accommodated our family of 4 well, was worried how sleeping would pull be before we got there as we are all tall but beds were so comfortable and we had a great nights sleep every night. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was great every day! The flower shops right next to the Hotel made my walks so pleasant. Super easy to get to the train station and bus stops. Staff was awesome! They kept my luggage in the Hotel while I waited for the time to go back to the airport, which gave me the possibility to walk around downtown one last time before going back home. Definitely will stay here again. 100% recommend.

The property is located right in the middle of the floral district so each day when walking to and from subway, we were surrounded by flowers, herbs, fresh live plants-it was stunning! The front desk staff have the true customer-centric culture, each one of them over our 5 nite stay were friendly, helpful, and efficient. An area manager who happened to be onsite personally helped clear up a final nite reservation I made thru Expedia that I messed up. This area manager could have said “too bad” but she fixed it without making me feel bad abt my mess up. While the free breakfast was as expected, the presentation was pleasant and everything was fresh. I would recommend cranking up the AC during service though, it gets awfully hot in dining area when full of people. Housekeeping was good. Rooms were fresh and updated. One of our best hotel stays in many years. And price was very reasonable for NYC. A+ for perfect location in floral district and front desk customer-centric culture.

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in quite a while. The entire Front Desk team super friendly and visiting area manager personal helped us with an Expedia reservation problem of our own making. She was extremely customer-centric and didn’t have to be. Rooms clean and updated and Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The location was perfect for us and this property is right in the middle of floral district so every day we got to enjoy all of the flowers, herbs, plants the first thing and last thing of the day. The fruit-infused waters at front desk were a pleasant experience since it was so hot during our 5 day visit. While the free breakfast was predictable, it was well done and dining area was kept clean. The only suggestion is to crank up the AC during service times as it can get pretty warm in there when it’s full. This is a top notch, well run property with excellent customer service culture. We have stayed at other more expensive properties when we have visited NYC (Kimpton, Indigo, etc) but none of them matches the culture and experience we had at this property.

Fire alarm went off 1:40am our first night. Awoke to ear piercing alarm in our room with strobing lights. Walked down 6 flights of stairs only to get to lobby and hear staff say false alarm. Walked back up but A/C kept going off and had to get up several more times to turn it back on (staff didn’t realize system had to be reset until 5am). I reserved room in advance but they only had handicap room when we checked in 5pm (no bathroom counter). Something mounted on wall facing bed had strobing light all night. Comfortable bed but lights interfered with sleep. Good variety at breakfast and convenient location to family.

The hotel is right in the middle of the flower district…and it’s magical every morning when you walk out into a literal field of flowers and herbs! Incredible!

Friendly staff

rooms are pretty small but that's to be expected in new york, staff is amazing and so accommodating!!

The rooftop top should be more inviting and maintained, we shouldn't have to put cushions on the seats ourselves, picture is deceiving. There should also be time limit added to breakfast seating area because of lack of seating.

Great stay, definitely best bang for buck for the location. Small hotel, but they make the most of every part of the room. Breakfast gets crowded but it was delicious, so it's worth fueling up before heading out for activities. Absolute best part was the rooftop deck, accessible at any time. It was a great place to hang when we didn't wanna sit in our room. This will be our go-to hotel for future NYC visits. And the staff was so friendly, 10/10 experience.

There were flowers outside every where that were pretty. Everything was with in walking distance. Lots of great dinning options. Staff were great and accommodating, got me a fridge for my insulin. Would definitely stay again.

It was a good home base while I was in the city visiting friends. The location was convenient to catch the subway or get a ride service. I wanted a place that included breakfast so I could have an easier start to each day and while it was not very fancy it was certainly adequate — think eggs, bacon, muffins, yogurt, fruit and of course, juice and coffee. I was pleased with the cleanliness of my room and for being in midtown it was on the quiet side. If you have a moment, try going up to the rooftop area for some air and a bit of a view.

I loved the location. When we showed up they only had a handicap room left. The staff was kind but The room was nothing like described. There were drain gnats in the showrr, there was no water pressure, there was a leak in the ceiling, and the floor has gaps in the planking. I love staying with Marriott hotels and the reason we bookedis we thought it would match those standards. It did not. I do a lot of consulting and have worked in hospitality and honestly this is one of tge most disappointing experiences I have ever had. The staff made up for it but if I had bokked directly through Marriott I would be requesting a refund.

The hotel's prime location, with its convenient access to major landmarks and several subway lines, is a clear advantage. Unfortunately, this benefit is overshadowed by the cramped and expensive rooms. A particularly frustrating aspect was the limited breakfast, which offered no vegetarian selections.

Great service, all front desk staff were professional and really friendly and helpful. Darrin or Derrick (can’t remember his name) at the front desk was extremely helpful with luggage upon arrival and departure and very friendly! The morning breakfast is good, clean comfy room.

10/10 recommend! Super friendly staff and responded quickly to any questions or needs I had. Always felt safe and it’s a great spot and a great price.

Overall good experience- nice location, bed was comfortable, very clean. Could definitely hear people in the halls but it wasn’t that bad. Our room was labeled accessible, which we didn’t need, but ended up with. Other than the accessible bathroom, I’m not sure how someone in a wheelchair could have gotten around the tiny room.

I needed a room for a couple nights to sleep and shower in. This was the perfect hotel to crash at. GREAT location in Chelsea between the FIT area, Penn Station area, and Little Korea. Hotel room had a king bed and not much room for much more other than a little desk and a cramped hanging closet. But that's all I really needed. PLUS, my room had THE BEST showerhead ever!!!! Was the perfect short stint I've ever had in NYC. Highly recommend.

Awesome location

Rooms are a little outdated, but they are clean. Staff is professional and friendly. A big plus is the complimentary breakfast, great options and very tasty. Property is 5 min walk to Madison Square Garden and 15min to Times Square.

Great hotel, especially for the price. Stayed at numerous hotels in the city throughout the years - most more expensive than this one - and this one is just as good or better. The breakfast was better than I expected. Lots of good options. Free tea and coffee available for most of the day, free water in the lobby. The location was conveniently located next to two subway stops and was on a safe street. The only downside was that the rooms that faced the street could be a little loud at night due to traffic noises.

Excellent option to stay in NY. Walking distance from Time Square. Subway accesible from both corners different routes. Super confy beds and great breakfast.

Beds were very uncomfortable

I stayed here with my daughter. It’s a great mid town option to up or down manhattan. Subway stations are a block away. Staff was so kind and having breakfast in the morning is the biggest plus.

The location is central to most everything, and multiple subway stations are close. Overall... a nice 3rd visit to NYC in '24. The elderly man pushing the mop bucket needs to learn how to speak to a 58yo patron. Otherwise... a good stay.

Staff very attentive

Fantastic location in Chelsea and very friendly front desk staff. The cleaning staff are absolutely horrible.... woke us up early completely disregarding that people could be sleeping. The room doors are also very poorly designed and slam very loudly so difficult to get any sleep as you hear everyone on your floor.
