    The room was perfect.I just seen one character in my bathroom.It was just the roach, but the whole experience was very great.The food was very nice as well.Definitely recommended.Just need to be a little bit more clean.In the restrooms

    My fiance and I were in town just for the night for a concert down at Pier 17 and from the moment we arrived the gentleman at the front desk made us feel very welcomed. We were running late because of a train delay and despite the time crunch we were under we were able to get checked in quickly without issue and it gave us a sense of calm! We loved the breakfast in the morning they had a great selection, and we took our cups of coffee with us down for a nice walk around the seaport before our generous check out time at noon. There was a different gentleman at the front desk in the morning who was just as kind and welcoming and they graciously held our bags for us for the day even after checkout while we explored the area. We had a lovely stay and would be back anytime!

    Such a comfortable stay, the breakfast provided was so generous and there were so many options! Room was clean, well kept, had everything we needed. Location is also amazing, lots to do around and super close to the ferry and the bridge. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in New York!

    The hotel’s best features are: 1. Location — if you want to a few minutes’ walk from the South Street Seaport, Wall Street, Trinity, and a host of other charming spots in this part of NYC it is a great choice! 2.     Breakfast was included. I was there to rest and I only had breakfast 1 day. It was good, 7/10. I slept late EVERY. SINGLE. DAY after that. Again, bed was comfortable, room was clean, and cozy. I did wipe both rooms with clorox wipes and I was pleased that the wipes didn't looked too bad. That made me more comfortable. Location is THE BEST! I walked everywhere lol, but the subway is the way to go. So, MY overall experience was great. 8/10 :) I didn't drive, cause I knew parking would've been rough and more expensive than uber. Get a cab or take the subway.

    El personal muy amable! Nos ayudaron con lo que necesitábamos en todo momento. El desayuno estuvo bien equipado y siempre había personal haciendo refill, la ubicación del hotel es buena y céntrica, en pleno centro financiero de Manhattan, cerca a atracciones y a 10 minutos de una estación de subway con líneas que te conectan a los principales destinos. Lo único que hubiera podido hacer mejor la estadía es que el aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruido, el ventilador era realmente ruidoso y por las noches tuvimos que apagarlo porque no dejaba descansar, pero a parte de eso todo estuvo muy bien!

    The hotel is exceptionally well located. Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park and the area around 9/11. The rooms are small, but very adequate, clean and comfortable. The use of disposable crockery and cutlery at breakfast. Although this appears normal in the US it is seems excessive in a hotel.

    I like the location, it is perfect! My stuff was taken from my room by house cleaning without my consent. Apart from shopping bags and receipts, I lost minor items I bought. I reported it a number of times to front desk staff and the manager and was ignored, by some politely, by some with a dose of indifference. The manager answered my complaint by informing that house cleaning denied taking anything. Not a heartfelt hospitality I have a vision of.

    We did not stay at the property. When we arrived, we were told that they had to cancel rooms because of some problems. This was strange because, we received a confirmation and a reminder of our upcoming stay on the day of arrival. But let's assume that there was a problem - we got no call, no notification, no warning. Just standing in the lobby with no reservation. I want to add that the room was already paid for. I pointed out that this was a sloppy way of doing business, got a nonchalant "oh sorry". We really did not want to waste time just running around trying to find an accommodation, but what options did we have? They claimed that we were already booked at their sister hotel, and they were waiting for us. Well, when we arrived at the second hotel - SURPRISE - no reservation. Did we book under another name. Here we go again. So while the front desk at the 2nd property was working to accommodate us, there was an exchange of emails and phone calls between them and the first location . I overhead my name and the employee at the second location saying she would replace that reservation with my name, and give us the room. Thankfully we had a room, but what a way to treat guests. Our initial reservation included breakfast, the new one did not, so basically we paid for something that we did not receive. Just lies, and a weak apology. Will never book at this place again.

    I liked the breakfast and the breakfast staff was very nice. I liked being able to log into streaming services on the TV in the bedroom. I liked how hot the water was in the shower. There was also a creepy bug in my room. I did not like that the only room available was on the 2nd floor and was extremely noisy. I did not like how outdated the furniture and appliances were. I did not like that there was no convenience store in the hotel.

    We were in NYC for a few days and were thrilled to stay at the Fairfield Inn New York Manhattan/Financial District. Our stay could not have been any better. It is not a large property but what it lacks in size it makes up for in service, functionality, and cleanliness. We were greeted upon check-in with a smile, provided a wonderful room, and enjoyed a decent breakfast. The staff and hotel were great! It was also close to the Seaport area which made for a wonderful walk to restaurants, a view of the Brooklyn Bridge, and a nice sitting area close to the water. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

    This place was the perfect budget hotel in a great location. The free breakfast was very good, the bed was comfy, the front desk staff were nice, the elevators worked, etc. The room was tiny, it wasn't the most renovated space, or cutest vibe, but for less than $200 a night, it was an excellent place to stay. If you get a good deal, this was the perfect hotel for my week-long vacation. I saved so much money from the free breakfast and coffee every day.

BUT - the reception staff was the kindest and most service-oriented staff I've ever come across in all my world traveling. They should all get a raise!     Nice location, solid breakfast if you come on time when there are not too many people. I got a room which had doors to the room next to it. Nothing strange, except you can hear whatever they are talking about very clearly. On the day of check out, I planned to shower at 11am, but there was no hot water. I called reception, they said there is a problem with the boiler and it would be fixed around 3-4 pm. Well, my checkout is noon, so can I get late checkout until 6pm for compensation. NO, ONLY UNTIL 1PM. Later he said the latest it can be 3pm. I had plans to visit some other places before I left the city so that didn't fit me. At the end they told me to wait a bit as an engineer just arrived, maybe he will fix it sooner. I shower in cold water and left disappointed around 1PM. If you read other people complains on Google you'll see that many people complain about water problem.

    My husband & i stayed here for 4 nights for our NYC trip. Good location & good stay. They cleaned & gave us clean towels every day. Breakfast was good-hot! near by 24hr foods. 15 min walk to the brooklyn bridge. 20min walk to the memorial & point view of the statue of liberty No complaints

No luggage racks in room, none available per the staff. This is a hotel, a Marriott!! Decor was dark, drab, brown. Such a tight room. Reception area small, water spigots for guests were broken and leaking each day. Cleanliness was only fair. Reception staff were the best part of my experience but I won't return.

    Positives - beds were comfortable, blackout curtains were good; location was fabulous, was quiet, near to subway and River, lots of bars and food outlets - highly recommend this area if you want to escape the madness! Staff were really welcoming and friendly, the breakfast staff were lovely and worked really hard. Although breakfast was really busy and we sometimes had to wait for a table, food was plentiful and perfect for setting us up for the day.

    We needed a last minute hotel and Fairfield had availability for us at a reasonable price. Service was fantastic, we arrived early and they provided us with a room before check in time. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and bed was fantastic- comfy and big! Room was a little small as there wasn’t a lot of space to store our cases anywhere and there wasn’t a lot of space in the bathroom to store toiletries. Bathroom itself was a nice size and shower was good! Room was quiet from outside noise and neighbours. We never took full advantage of the free breakfast, however there was a good selection of breakfast foods and beverages. Location was amazing, in a nice area near the pier for a good walk and very close to the sights in FiDi. Nearest subway station less than a 10 minute walk away and is a great hub for tourists as you can come and rest during the busy days. Would highly recommend this hotel!

    My only negatives were the hotel doors slam. My neighbors came in (each night of my stay) around 3:00 in the moriing and let their doors slam shut. It woke me up multiple times each night and that was rather annoying.

    I had a wonderful stay in July in celebration of my birthday. The dining area was under construction due to renovations, but breakfast was still provided every morning. Refreshing iced lemon water was provided all day in front of the main floor elevator. I was grateful to fill up my water bottle daily and have it as I explored the city in the summer heat. My room was pristine and cozy. My visit was a solo trip so the room was the perfect size for me. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well every night. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious with a large standalone shower. The hotel is on the East River close to Pier 11, Piers 15-17 and a short walk from the Brooklyn Bridge. The Clipper ship was visible every day when leaving or returning from the hotel. I loved my stay and when I visit New York in the future, I’d love to stay here again.

    The behavior was shocking — disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. After a long argument, we finally got the right keys, but still no assistance. This kind of treatment is a disgrace to any hotel that claims to care about its guests. We are extremely annoyed, upset, and deeply disappointed by this experience. The lack of professionalism and outright rudeness at the front desk reflects very poorly on this hotel. If you value honesty, respect, or even basic hospitality, avoid this hotel at all costs.

    Right away the details were wrongly advertised, the hotel is boxed in all sides with no views. Before checking in I specifically requested for a room with a view and the customer support agent confirmed that, but upon reaching the hotel, I was told that there were no rooms with a view. I was then offered a room for disabled guests which had a street view. The room itself has no luggage stand(this is a disabled room btw), No locker, No microwave, very very shabby bathroom, the rooms had no sound proofing and heard loud noised like gushing water, slamming doors all throughout my stay. The worst experience was that a Marriott hotel didn't have water bottles for over 3 days. They said their supplies hadn't come. A hotel that has no drinking water. Will never stay here again.

    Fantastic location on a quiet street but very walkable to lots of sites, especially good for the seaport area. The front desk staff was terrific: smiley, friendly, chatty, helpful. The need to up most of the room, but that’s NYC real estate right? Still, a very comfy room and bed. Housekeeping took care of us very well. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the breakfast area got very crowded, but there are plenty of other breakfast dining options nearby.

    Overall, my stay here at the Fairfield Inn was good. Gio, the overnight front desk attendant made my stay go from just "okay" to "good!" He was very accommodating and made arrangements to make my first time in NYC a better experience and I thank him for that. The construction work was a little annoying, it made the dining room area/lobby very crowded at times. However, i'd stay here again.

    The hotel is not old, but also not new. Unfortunately, during my 2 weeks stay, they were renovating the lobby, which presented severe limitations in that area, which is rather small for a 31 floors hotel, and where the breakfast buffet is served. But I gather, that the area was being optimised and when finished, it'll be a nice place to spend time and have breakfast. Unfortunately, I did not have luck on those days f my stay, as the works wee carried out throughout the entire time I was there. The breakfast is OK and makes the hotel really worth it regarding the overall price (hopefully they will not put it up after the lobby renovations!). The room was not big, but confortable, clean and with a nice and ample bathroom, AC working well. The staff at the front was great, they were always very friendly and helpful, a real plus of this hotel. The location is also great, 100m from the east river and pier 15. There are nice restaurants in the area and also good access with Fulton Station close to it. And the lifts (2x) are incredibly fast!. I suggest though, that if you decide to have breakfast there, that you go early, as, in spite of the renovations, the space is too small for the size of the building, and it gets crowded towards the end (9:30 AM). Overall, this was a very pleasant experience, in spite of the lobby renovations. I would gladly spend time there again.

    The dining area is very small and very crowded. Even though it was notified beforehand but due to construction in lobby it was very loud (could have easily taken a break during breakfast hours!). I had two rooms, very similar but one of them had half white half warm lights and other all warm lights.     I have stayed at this hotel before and like it very much. It is so convenient and has a wonderful breakfast. The only thing I was disappointed in this time is that they were repainting some areas of the hotel, such as the reception and the breakfast area, but I was glad to see that they are keeping the place kept up.     This property does not look anything like the pictures listed on the website. The view in your room is completely blocked by another high rise building.
