Excellent hotel rooms are incredible. The gym is shared with non hotel guests though which maybe I didn’t read far enough to know that. It is a members gym so it’s packed and not exclusive to hotel guests. Photo shows a sauna outside however it seems like maybe it’s “seasonal” sometimes. Also bar closes super early around 10-10:15 so if you’re looking for a late night drink there’s no options here. Staff was excellent across the board

Beautiful hotel. Great location! Right by train station. Amenities were fantastic. Loved the decor. Rooms and ambiance felt sexy.

For the price we paid it is not worth it at all. It’s a very average hotel and the amenities are not what they advertise them to be. Staff and service are not at the five star level you would expect.

We are especially thankful for the girl’s help at the reception, who very carefully took all our wishes into account, and was incredibly professional. The breakfasts were delicious, the location was great.

The décor had a very masculine style, with dark tones and heavy furnishings. While this may appeal to some guests, I personally found it not very inviting or warm. A lighter color palette or brighter lighting could really improve the overall atmosphere and make the room feel more welcoming.

No detail is left aside. It’s beautiful. Service is good. Food is good. It’s a detail but they make you pay a delivery fee of 10$ for the room service, which is a bit exaggerated. They should improve door insulation, you can easily be waked up at night due to noises in the corridor or adjacent room doors opening/closing.

There are proper ways to ask for verification at a high end hotel and she didn’t utilize any of them, instead loudly saying in front of everyone, “I don’t know -who- you are!” and rejecting my explanation that I’d left my purse at the lounge downstairs. I made a polite complaint to a staff member later, who said I might receive a call from the manager but no call or text came. The room, amenities, views, and other staff were great though.

The size of the rooms were so spacious lux and well appointed. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool doesnt allow children at all. Most hotels will set aside a few hours a day for children to enjoy the amenity.

Food was excellent. Corner room, 37th floor was modern and spacious. Lots of healthy mini-bar supplements and options and a very interesting drawer of for sale adult items! Elevators were tricky. Outdoor pool wasn’t working and heated to 87F as advertised. Gym wasn’t nearly as big with much equipment as other gyms. Was expecting an impressive gym - it’s not that. Go to a LifeTime in NYC instead or hit Peloton for a group spin class. Food at Electric Lemon was all very delicious… octopus, shrimp that tasted like lobster, steak, Canadian oysters. Pricey but healthy & delicious. Room service also excellent. Turkey sandwich on splet, healthy coffee options. Again, pricey but healthy & delicious.

The room was well designed, very clean and comfortable. The view of the river from the 34th floor is quite spectacular, especially in the evening light. It is convenient for the subway.

However, after staying at the Equinox, my whole view changed. I had such a better trip overall. The hotel is located in a quiet, clean, new part of town and the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Rooms are tastefully designed, the bar had amazing drinks, and the experience was top notch. I cannot stress how much accomodations play a role in your overall experience when traveling. I DEFINITELY recommend spending the extra money (this hotel is not cheap!) coming here if you're in NY.

If I could give 5-star plus I would. I joined my daughter here for a 5 night stay-cation. We took advantage of all the hotel had to offer. Honestly, we would have been quite overjoyed without leaving the property, but had to travel to Times Square for the play. (Which, by-the-way, was arranged seamlessly by our concierge) The health facility was immaculate and we were able experience many of classes. Of course, the spa is not to be missed, Our daily conflict consisted of juggling spa appointments with the workout schedule. We dined at Electric Lemon and was not disappointed with the exception the the beet yogurt is only available during breakfast hours. The rooms was silent, beds were comfortable. The staff all around were gracious. ( and quick to help with elevator navigation) I did use hotel transportation to & from JFK and so glad I did.

The Equinox Hotel is a modern and convenient hotel by the river in the Upper Manhattan area. It offers great views and excellent amenities in the rooms and throughout the property. The spa service is innovative, and various sports supplements are included in the room's minibar. The interior design is chic. The gym and two pools in the hotel are amazing stops to make while you stay.

Breakfast was quality and the staff who delivered to our room were phenomenal! Room had a great view, and the layout is efficient. the black out shade was the best we ever experienced, and the robe/dental kits were such nice add ons! Front desk had a slight air of arrogance, especially the person on evening shift. Room didn’t have a tub, and the gym was closed after 9!

Really nice hotel but I expected more for the price. Like the key card machine didn’t work so I had to be led to my room each time. Then woken up at 9:30pm for housekeeping. Then disturbed at noon while showering even though I had a 1pm check out. But room was comfortable and well appointed. Polite staff.

The best thing about the hotel was Tirone the concierge! He should be elected the best concierge of NYC! He gave us an amazing service and the difference was significant on his day off. We would also like to shout out to the housekeeping department who did an excellent job. The gym was great and the SpA, albeit it ludcirously overpriced, was seriously good. Both my husband and I had great massages and the SpA reception team was very efficient. You all contributed to raising the rating on my review. I would highly recommend both Gym and Spa I give my rating based on price paid and stars of the hotel. This was definitely not worth the 5th star and would have been a good 4 star hotel at half the price we paid. The staff at reception was not responsive and did not solve any of the issues we raised or requested. They were not particularly friendly either. The breakfast was a sorry affair, we ended up having to cross the road and have breakfast at Cafés at the Hudson mall as the options at the Electric Lemon were so bad. Generally the food offered was below par with extremely limited options, and the service was excrutiangly slow. This was the only option for food/breakfast in tlhe hotel. At 1400 USD a night (without breakfast!) I definitely would have expected at least a category standard. The room was small with the tiniest bathroom and though I cannot say it was a bad room, it felt squalid. I would have rated it a good 4**** but definitely missing the umph of the 5*****.

Very disappointing stay. First, I only booked this hotel to have access to an indoor pool during the winter and it was closed. No one bothered to let me know when I booked the reservation nor before I checked in that the indoor pool was closed. Second, two staff members proceeded to argue in front of customers in the lobby — very unprofessional. Third, when I ordered room service, it arrived late, cold, and missing items. And last, the cleaning staff tried to enter my room without knocking. I paid for a “5 star” hotel without 5 star treatment. Take your business elsewhere.

The Equinox hotel was truly extraordinary experience, blending luxury and wellness. The rooms were sleek, very spacious, and modern theme. We loved it! They have a rooftop bar called the electric lemon which has great drinks. The rooftop area is closed in November. However, the manager is so kind to guest staying and will let you see it and take pictures. The staff is so sweet and left a cake and note for my fiancés birthday in the room. Please take advantage of the room service, they has amazing health immune system drinks that helped as I was sick during my stay. They also brought me lots of tea. I highly recommend this hotel!

Gorgeous hotel. Too bad for the emergency construction on Monday - it was terribly loud. Staff were awesome. Gym is great. Spa is pretty good but facial was just okay and not worth the investment and only received one of the complimentary services. But I loved the location and my room was beautiful.

The location was perfect. Everything was close by. The cleanliness of the room was superb. Jason at check in and Triston at check out were exceptional. I enjoyed the AM and PM rituals. They were very relaxing. having a river view was perfect to not only get a good view of the sunset but as a relaxation tool. I would definitely return. Your concerns were addressed expeditiously.

The staff was amazing. The pool area was a lot of fun and the rooms were very nice. Also a great neighbourhood with a lot of nice restaurants and areas for morning walks.

Nice spacious rooms, very clean, the only downside are the elevators!

The room was beautiful. Really nice design and layout. I booked a Premier Skyline View room and views were excellent. Clear view of One World Trade. I was not expecting to be able to see the Hudson River, but had a great view of that. I also did not expect a view of The Vessel, but had a good view of that as well, just from a higher vantage point. Staff is also very professional. Really enjoyed my stay.
