The hotel is generally well-liked for its convenient location near popular attractions, with friendly and helpful staff. However, there are frequent complaints about the small room size, long wait times for elevators, and a crowded breakfast area with limited seating.

Great free breakfast in the morning and cocktail hour with appetizers. The rooms are small but that's New York City, especially in the midtown area. Within walking distance from Times Square, Empire State building and Broadway theaters. We did have a view of the Empire State Building, but I wouldn't recommend paying extra for that as you have to stand right in front of the window and look to the left to see it. Also the elevator takes a little bit of time, so I would request lower rooms next time and avoid the elevator wait by taking the stairs.

I found the staff very helpful and quick to respond. Property is well located for theater and shopping. Excellent breakfast selection and the 2 free drinks and snacks at 5pm were very welcome. Room was clean. Basic amenities included, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in large pump bottles. Nothing else. I had to request hair dryer but it was delivered within minutes. Overall excellent stay and would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast was amazing! The only thing I did not like about this property is there was really no parking! The staff for the most part was very friendly and accommodating!

By far the best hotel accommodations we have stayed at in the Manhattan area. The room and public areas were spotless. Quiet room air conditioning were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel for NYC visits

Great location. Slow elevators.

I loved the breakfasts. Lots of good food. The room was very clean-maybe small for some.

Breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent. It was very difficult to leave bags at the hotel after we checked out, even for a few hours. Would have much preferred a room with two beds, but that was not available.

- 4/5
The convenience of the location. Staff was friendly and were able to help accommodate. Offered new items when we called and good hotel to airport services. The $30 credit everyday was not necessary for us so we felt it was pointless. They wouldn’t clean the trash properly at one time.
- 4.5/5
Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff were always so nice. The room was much smaller than a normal Embassy Suites but that was expected in NYC. The breakfast was great as always but even better than other Embassy locations bc they delivered your eggs to you instead of waiting. The afternoon snacks weren’t as interesting as other Embassy’s but were fine. Other reviews talk about the elevator wait times and that was a small issue but only during peak ride times (breakfast/happy hour, etc) and even then nothing too long. Still a great hotel to always stay at. Nothing.

This was the first time I paid such a high price and received such poor service. The overall experience was very disappointing. The staff showed little interest in helping guests, and the service quality was far below what I expected from a hotel in this price range. Even basic amenities were missing — there were no slippers provided in the room. The hotel did not meet the standards it advertised. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend it to others looking for good value and professional service.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the daily happy hour that the site provided to guests.

If you are immune compromised and have to mask in crowded places, be prepared to be harassed by staff and guests staying there. Kitchen manager didn't deliver my breakfast omelet because I wouldn't eat in the crowded restaurant dinning. Be prepared for a $30 nightly fee to require you to spend money on hotel food. The front desk also only holds luggage until 1pm. After that, you are on your own. I was happy to leave this place.

The main positive is the location, which is very good and makes it easy to get around New York. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to outweigh the number of issues we experienced during our five-night stay. One of the hotel's three lifts was out of service for around half our five day stay, which resulted in long waits and congestion, particularly at busy times. The phone in our room didn't work, and the shower curtain had been poorly fitted, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used. We were also provided with incorrect bedding for the sofa bed on arrival, which required additional follow-up to resolve. The check-in process was particularly frustrating. The hotel has a 4pm check-in policy, which seems unusually late. We arrived at around midday and were repeatedly told that a room would likely be available shortly and that we would receive an SMS notification. No message ever arrived, and despite checking several times throughout the afternoon, we were unable to access our room until 4pm. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On one day our room was not serviced at all. When I queried this at reception, I was told that some guests do not want daily housekeeping and that I needed to request it if I wanted it. This policy was not explained during check-in and was not mentioned anywhere in the room information. The fact our room wasn't serviced was clearly just an oversight, and rather simply admit this and apologise, I was provided with a nonsense excuse. The staff were generally polite and professional, but they did not come across as particularly friendly or proactive. They weren't unhelpful, but interactions felt more functional than welcoming. The hotel is advertised as newly renovated. Our room was definitely not newly renovated. There is insufficient wardrobe space and storage space.

The rooms were clean. The proximity to everything was perfect. The only issue I had was the elevators. There are 3 elevators and they all didn’t seem to be working at the same time. We waited some times 15 -20 for the elevators to arrive.

The best part - there was a car waiting outside that we could use to get to the airport for our flight back. It made that so much easier! Free breakfast is always a good thing. Packed with people but still free! Comfy beds. Good location, friendly staff! I found at least 3 stray hairs in the bathroom when we first arrived. Not really clear on that $30 charge but then a $30 credit. I used it the first day and ended up spending way more to add steak ($18!) to my salad which was already $17. The add on was ridiculously expensive. Then we weren't around to cash in the next day's credit so we basically paid that for I don't even know what.

What I did not like was a elevator three of them was right next to my room and I heard every time the elevator went up and down, and the curtains in the room did not darken the room. My , widow was over outdoor theater, so the lights from the theater was coming into the room. i’m not quite sure but I think they turn the lights off about one to 2 o’clock in the morning and still didn’t make it dark enough. The buffet was the best part of my staying at that hotel.
- 3/5
The location was great The photos of the room is not accurate at all, which is very unfortunate as this is why this location was chosen for our stay. The junior king suite is displayed as if it has a bit of privacy between the main bed and sofa bed as well as 2 TV’s but this was not true at all. No privacy between the two and only 1 TV.

We were here for a few days as a family tagging along with my hubby on his work trip. Location is excellent. The rooms are small but we made it work since it was just to sleep/shower and we were out and about most of the day. Bathrooms are TOO tiny and need more hooks to hang clothes on. The hotel is nice/clean overall. But there was just too many people for the amount of elevators they have (you literally will wait 5 min to get on one) and the breakfast dining area is chaos also, as it is way too small to accommodate the ~34 floors of guests. Hard to find a spot to sit. Breakfast was a great selection for everyone though.
- 4/5
Staff is very welcoming and attentive, always happy to help, always pleasant. I really appreciate the breakfast with omelets cooked to order, hot oatmeal, and fresh fruit.

Location, Great Staff, Comfort and cleanliness of the room and Food. The internet was not working very well.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good with fresh eggs, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, and omelet bar. Cocktail happy hour was a lil short, could be longer. There is scaffolding out front just like 80% of downtown has and there is work being done but it did not become obtrusive in any way. Rooms are very small compared to other Embassy Suites but it NY city. Staff at the check-in counter could use some additional customer service training. Avg to below avg customer service. Antonio from the Engineering Dept was a star for us by getting our door locked fixed so quickly.

This was a very nice hotel and very professional staff along with the manager. I would recommend the embassy to all my friends and family.

The photos on Expedia absolutely DO NOT REFLECT the room itself. I specifically booked because of the partial "wall" in the Expedia photos only to show up and be told the wall is not longer there. One of the managers even told me they get daily complaints about this for 6 MONTHS and Hilton/Expedia have yet to update. I ended up having to get a second room because a member in our party snores. I will take it up with Expedia for a refund for that room due to misrepresentation of the property.

What was especially frustrating was the mandatory $30 per day food-and-beverage credit system tied to their small lobby café/bar, Heist. The credit can only be used there, does not include tax or gratuity, and menu prices are inflated to the point that the “credit” feels more like a tactic to force additional spending. Most menu items were in the $25–30 range, beer was around $35, and even a glass of wine was about $25. Seating was also limited and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, after checking out and requesting a final printed bill, we later discovered an additional $28.82 charge posted afterward that had not been disclosed at checkout. We are now forced to dispute the charge with our credit card company. Overall, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. This property does not deliver the Embassy Suites experience many travelers expect, and the hidden-feeling charges left a very negative impression.

Free breakfast was great, but extremely small and crowded space with long waits for the food. Food tasted good. Room smelled like marijiuana periodically through the BR vents, must have been guest next door?
- 2/5
The person at the lobby looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and couldn’t give me clear information about the laundry service.
- 5/5
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the staff is exceptional, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the location is great and multiple spaces to lounge. My only dissatisfaction was with the breakfast menu. The quality of the food was mediocre-often not hot enough, flavour could be improved. That's an easy fix. Highly recommended. Will return.

One night we decided to use $30 credit in a bar. We ordered two glasses of apperol. We were served by nice lady but the size of the glass was like one third of the size of the glass which is used in US as well as in Europe for apperol and no alcohol flavor at all. But the price of that aperol like drink appeared to be $22. Which is ridiculous as per size and per content!!!

I liked the location of the hotel, it's slap bang in the middle of mid-town - close to restaurants and the empire state building. Within walking distance of K town so its very convenient dependent on where you want to go/visit. The value of the hotel compared to what you get is not great. Firstly the lobby area is quite small and the lobby bar is always filled with suitcases so it's not pleasant to sit down in, even though they give you $30 USD per day to spend there (I did not end up spending a single voucher on any given day). The lifts are quite slow and kept stopping at floor 15 for some reason, even though there was no one there (faulty). The rooms were smaller than I expected for the price, a robe and slippers were not provided and bottled water only on the first day. I don't understand why New York hotels charge a resort fee, when it quite clearly is not a resort and taxes on top but you get zero extras. You get the least bang for your buck in New York, quite diabolical.

Location The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The shower constantly flooded because the drain did not work properly. Broken bathroom door. The breakfast area is too small for the amount of guests, food was often not refilled, and room cleaning was terrible. But the worst part happened after check-out. Because we rushed to finish packing and make the most of our last day in the city, we forgot many belongings inside a drawer. We had hired the hotel’s airport transfer, so the staff knew we were still waiting in the lobby for the minivan and had not left the property yet. Housekeeping entered the room and instead of returning our belongings, nobody said a word. They had every opportunity to give our things back, but they chose not to. Very dishonest people. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Omelet. We had a group of 5 couples traveling and we got the ugliest view room of them all. Even though I bought a room with sofa and they didn’t. The view out out the window was just 3 brick walls very close to us, felt like we’re in some closet. But everything else is great, recommend the place but would ask for better view room.

Excellent location, good breakfast. Concierge personnel Adam is extremely helpful in holding my luggage and arranging transport to the airport for me and the two bartenders are excellent in their service. There is a destination charge of $30 per day, although $30 of credit per day is given, it will be useful if we can combine the $30 per day into a total amount to use it.

The front desk refused to store our bags beyond 2 hours. We had an evening flight and we had to lug our bags for a mile and pay $80 to put our bags in storage. When ai inquired why that was not disclosed during booking, the front desk just stated that their policy had changed recently.

Good location, comfy bed, nice view on the Empire State Building. Nice towels. Possibility to store luggage. The room was quite big for NYC. They take money as guarantee but give it only back in credit. This appeared useless. Could only spend it in the hotel. We were one day in NY so out of the hotel the whole time. TV stopt working, could not connect to the network. Shower curtain which is .... broken tile on the floor. Breakfast was unusable, room way too small for the number of people. After I checked out and paid they again took money from my card as a precaution (Why, I already left and paid) I have a feeling I will not see this amount back. Upon retrieving our luggage the pressure became absurd to use one of their cars to the airport. He was holding the door closed and kept pressuring my wife. I had to raise my voice to make him move. Very disappointing experience in an establishment connected to Hilton. I will not be back!

Property is in a great location, but getting to the parking facility was an absolute nightmare . The staff was very helpful and supportive. Most of the staff I spoke with did not comprehend and relayed my request correctly , hence , my reservations were cancelled twice, 95% of this mishap was from the third party booking site. But I was happy to know that the staff was able to rebook on the spot and got us settled . The shower was clogged with hair so the water was not going down , I had to do a clean before using the bathroom facilities. Apart from these issues, the visit was bearable.

Hotel had scaffolding so not very welcoming entrance. Was allocated a very tired room with noisy aircon units outside the window on arrival, and after a 30 mn wait was “upgraded” to a room with a view of the Empire State Building, which was in fact smaller without a sofa bed, but was quiet and newly renovated. The resort fee is mandatory and difficult to use without incurring further costs as the drinks are so ridiculously expensive. The hotel and rooms have no charm but beds are very comfortable and rooms are larger than most of New York. Great location for Broadway shows.

- Location was very convenient - breakfast was very good. Manager (?) Jenny worked very hard. Cook for made to order eggs did a good job. Food variety was good. - the free happy hour was welcoming. Drinks were good, food minimal - property/rooms seemed clean and new - doorman staff very courteous (most friendly and helpful of all staff) - Major issue was room configuration. We reserved what we thought was a suite, with two separate sleeping and living areas (per the photo on website) there was a high partial divider to split up the room. In reality it was just one open room. Not what I consider a “suite”. When I booked it embassy suite did not update their website to reflect simple one room configuration - Staff was mixed- some very friendly and efficient, others not so much. A few times had to wait for staff to finish their personal conversations with each other before they notice there is a line of people waiting to be helped - requested a “crib” for one of the suites, emailed and talked to hotel before check in. Had to call the front desk to have one delivered after we checked in. Just does not seem to be totally together - Food was mixed. The slider was good, the pizza is like cardboard, the wings like frozen tv dinner wings

Yes.

Clean nice room everything is good and perfect location to get around.
- 5/5
Great location and great staff
- 4/5
The location was pretty good, though a little far from the theater where we were seeing a show (20-minute walk). The breakfast options were really good, and having open times for cocktail hour and later drinks was nice, too. Room was clean and modern. Close to Paris Baguette, which was a great place for coffee/sandwiches/salads. Sofa bed had a VERY thin mattress, wasn't terribly comfortable. No chair in the room for the desk. Not exactly a suite - sofa bed was RIGHT next to the bed, so when it was unfolded there was barely room to walk through. Constant smell of pot smoke wafting in from the street in the lobby.
- 3/5
The food at the hotel was pretty good, and the view from my room was great. The staff who checked me in were excellent, and both bellhop/concierge staff members I interacted with were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The floor in my room was dirty, and I ended up cleaning it myself. While the check‑in staff and bellhop/concierge team were fantastic, most of the other front desk staff seemed to have an attitude problem. The lines just to take the elevator to your room were also ridiculous. The onsite facilities team should really audit elevator usage to see if the flow can be improved, because the line often felt like waiting for a ride at a theme park.
- 3/5
Breakfast is too crowded, you won’t find a seat. The Happy Hour was great, but it does get a bit packed. We would go to the Happy Hour about thirty minutes before is closed, and we’d have the space basically to ourselves. The rooms are great, we had the Empire State Building view and we loved it. Our mini fridge did not work and all of our food went to waste, we told the front desk and they said they’d send someone over to our room, they didn’t. We called again but at night, and we finally had a good one.

Great property
- 1/5
The hotel could not cope with the number of guests. The first morning we gave up waiting for an elevator after 5 mins and instead walked down the fire escape stairs to breakfast (the stairs would have been dangerous in a real fire, as lots of random items had been left on them). At breakfast, there was not enough room for everyone (and no queuing system) so some people ended up eating standing up, which unsurprisingly led to someone dropping their plate and it smashing. We had two adults and a child in a room with a sofa bed, but once the sofa bed was open then there was barely any space. The shower door did not close properly and so the bathroom floor was wet after showers.
- 3/5
Great location. But extra night fee disappointing. Breakfast was ok and even g free drinks were nice. WiFi is poor. Bed very comfortable
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was small for 3 adults. We checked the other rooms, and they looked the same. Glad to be in NYC and spending most of the time outside the hotel.
- 5/5
Yes and yes
- 4/5
Breakfast is good and fresh . Gluten free bread us available on request.
- 1/5
But we were told by the manager that if there is a curtain applied to a shower, the room is sellable!! LOL. We had to stay in the same room until next day. Plus, the room had a horrible view of wall of adjacent building. Although a room with city view was not requested, that doesn't mean a customer would like to see a depressing wall from the window. The Breakfast area had sitting arrangement highly inconvenient to eat, walk and reach to the food. Overall, not worth for the amount of money spent. Broke expectations from a brand like Hilton.
- 5/5
One of the best accomodations in the city. Loved my stay
- 3/5
They need new pillows. No ventilation in bathroom. Toliet tank made a loud noise when flushed. Small rooms. Breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired and not enough seating.
- 5/5
Mole room
- 4/5
Full sit down breakfast menu was great. Nice shower. Overall it was comfortable for a one night stay.
- 4/5
Close to the tourist attractions Parking didn’t open earlier than 6am.

We didn’t go to breakfast and didn’t need the air conditioner
- 4/5
Staff very helpful and friendly. Clean room.
- 2/5
The room was well presented,
- 4/5
Staff was very polite and accommodating - elevator is an issue
- 3/5
The first night our room wasn’t ready and we had to stay in another room. We had booked a junior suite with empire sky view. The next day when we got our room it was underwhelming. The view wasn’t great, you could barely see it. The room was tiny and barely functional. The breakfast was underwhelming, we usually stay at the homewood suites and their breakfast options are much better. The seating was terrible and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for an elevator to and from breakfast. The other food options weren’t great either. They force you to pay $30 a night to receive a $30 credit each day, but you have to come down to the lobby to the tiny bar (4 tables and 6 seats) to order. Then you have to go to the 4th floor to pickup your order if not eating at the bar. They got our order wrong and it wasn’t good (bland burger and fries). We didn’t bother using the credit any other days. They had no non alcoholic drink options (except ginger ale, no other sodas). We did an evening reception one night. It was chips and dip and cheese, really boring. They had a soda fountain, but all the sodas were flat and there was no ice. I wouldn’t stay here again, but the staff were nice and the location was excellent. I expected more for the steep room rate.
- 4/5
Entrance was under construction
- 3.5/5
The price is reasonable, with breakfast included The elevator is so slow, receptionist is not so nice
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. had a variety. the wait for the elevators but understand that it was gonna happen
- 1/5
Lobby area smellled of weed. Entrance blocked by construction - quite claustrophobic
- 3/5
Too crowded and a bad configuration of set up
- 4/5
We had a great overall stay at this hotel. The only issues I had were that the bed was very uncomfortable. The hard bed made my hips and back ache the whole trip. And the other thing was we had a balcony room and the cushions that were actually on the chairs (some were missing) had burn holes in them from smokers I’m assuming. The breakfast was good, the staff were amazing, the service was good, and they even sent us up a cheese and fruit platter with some sparkling water for our anniversary!! Overall a good place to stay. Some improvements could be made but it’s a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again and again! Great staff, great breakfast, clean rooms and beautiful views! Perfect location.
- 4/5
Recommend this propertyto anybody passing through.

Excellent breakfast and very comfortable bed and 5 starr staff.

Everything was amazing!

Great service
- 1/5
There was someone doing work above my room, like scrapping paint sound until 10pm then started again at 7am. Terrible nights sleep and when I communicated this to reception there was no response! Just oh - not good enough when there is so much choice in NYC...
- 1/5
Arrived at 9:00 a.m. asked if early check-in was possible they stated no so I left bags with doorman and I was told check in is until 4:00 p.m. which I understand because it's in the agreement so we were waiting in the lobby from 1:00 p.m. until 3:50 p.m. and then front desk let us know that our room is ready so went up to room and room was still I'm done with the sofa bed open and bed all undone I told housekeeping the issue she called manager (JOT) and they came to the room to complete it and I was told because of the inconvenience the first night URBAN FEE OF $30 would be credited to my account which I was grateful for. Following day I asked staff about the credit and they stated that it was in my account and I would get an itemized statement at checkout. So I check out and the credit isn't there it's 4:00 in the morning no manager available so was given managers business card and told to call later that day and that final statement would not be charged until credit was issued pending manager approval. Call that day and manager would not approve credit until she spoke with other manager which was fair. But two weeks have passed by multiple calls and email and still no credit has been issued. As for the facility, it is ok. The front doesn't look like the images on Google or on Orbitz. There is scaffolding throughout the whole front and construction inside the hotel restaurant area. Shoutouts to the bartenders and the doorman.

Clean room, excellent breakfast and snacks, good gym area.
- 4/5

- 3/5
Rooms were clean, staff wasn't very friendly.
- 4/5
It was good
- 3/5
Nice location. Room was nice, but a bit small for more than one or two people (booked for three). Cramped public spaces (even by NYC standards). Severely undersized dining area for included breakfast and evening reception; seating often unavailable.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast. I wasn’t aware the property was under construction. I loved the location and its proximity to major attractions. When visiting New York again, I will definitely chose Embassy Suites.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, nice room with a view of the iconic Empire State Building. We enjoyed the central location in the city.
- 3/5
Bathroom floor wasn’t swept I could feel dirt/particles; shower gel was completely empty, bartender was rude or not friendly at all, there were a couple brooms all around the hall
- 5/5
It was a good stay. The breakfast and s excellent and their afternoon perks is really good. I will stay again at this hotel. Staffs are good too.
- 5/5
A spacious room and bathroom in Manhattan?? You had me there, but clean facility, friendly staff, voucher for the restaurant/bar, and free breakfast were deserving of a 5/5 rating. I've bookmarked this Embassy Suites for future trips.
- 5/5
Great value when they have sales.
- 3/5
Rooms are super small. Staff very nice. Excellent location
- 4/5
Our only issue was a banging sound that came from the heating system all night long.
- 3/5
Renovations were happening during our visit, hence on arrival we had construction noise and our elevator for our floor was closed for a period of time, walked down 5 flights of stairs. Thankfully it was a temporarily closure. The room overall was good, with the exception of the bathroom shower. The shower door were unbalanced and would not stay closed during shower, hence water seeping out onto floor. Also during shower, the wall mounted shampoo bottle fell off the wall and landed on foot. Check-in wait took longer than would have liked. Would have preferred a better explanation of the Urban Destination fee and it's usage. Bellhop (Adam) was very quick and cordial.
- 5/5
Everything about the experience was awesome.
- 4/5
The room was clean. Staff was very nice, but the only downside is breakfast. The selections are very slim and could be better.
- 4/5
Small rooms. Not enough space to store our luggage
- 3/5
We had a problem Friday and Saturday night with noisy neighbors. The hotel staff did address this to our satisfaction. Our room key kept demagnetizing. That was frustrating. The daily breakfast was nice and had good selection but the omelette bar was not good.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Le staff fait un excellent travail !
- 4/5
But overall its nice place
- 4/5
Great Location !
- 4/5
Friendly, helpful staff; hotel is undergoing renovation, so some scaffolding and a temporary entrance; room was clean and comfortable; walls are thin, especially as we had a connecting room, so could hear our neighbor’s phone conversation, shower and shaving the first night.
- 3/5
Rooms were small and had lots of damage — there was mold under our desk wall and broken door in our bathroom. The front desk was kind though. Weird $30 resort fee for them to credit and have you use towards any food and snack. Our room was right next to the elevator which was very loud
- 5/5
Perfect hôtel for Family !
- 5/5
Staff are very accommodating. Walked in to leave my bags for the day since our flight landed early but was surprised by an early check in. I loved the breakfast and the evening complimentary drinks. I would stay here again if I come back to NYC!
- 4/5
Good Breakfast. Property in the middle of everything.

Very good choice.
- 3/5
No coat hangers in the room
- 5/5
We showed up with our room have not been cleaned well, but once informed, they sent someone right up to our room to finish.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
I had reserved a city view with a king bed since I was sharing the room with my daughter. Instead, I was “upgraded” to a balcony view with a queen bed. While the view of the Empire State Building was beautiful, the room downgrade in bed size was inconvenient and not what I paid for. The most concerning issue was the bench at the end of the bed that converts into a sleeper couch. It honestly looked like it had been picked up off the roadside — it had visible, disgusting stains all over it. It did not appear clean or properly maintained, which is completely unacceptable. Yes, the skyline view was nice — but let’s be honest, it’s winter in New York. No one is standing out on a balcony in freezing temperatures to make up for a smaller bed and stained furniture. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and far below what I expect from a Hilton property. How do you comp for this inconvenience when the price is so high for something I didn’t get?
- 1/5
Room not cleaned on a daily basis. Had to request fresh towels each day. The room was dated the only closet for clothes was in the bathroom and the safe was also in the bathroom
- 3/5
Good location made it easy to get to all the laceThe hotel is under renovations which was fine but the service wasn’t great.
- 4/5
It was clean
- 5/5
Clean room and wonderful staff.
- 3/5
I really hesitated, giving this hotel three stars, but I did only because of the location and complementary breakfast. Some of the staff were amazing others not so much. We had three people in the room, but housekeeping only gave us two towels. Luckily the linen cart was in the hallway everyday except one. I went to the front desk around 8pm and requested another towel, and she said, someone will bring it to you. 20 mins later I called housekeeping. She told me they didn’t have any clean ones, but when they did they would bring them to me. Never got one that night. Luckily the next morning the linen cart was in the hallway. They were aware of the elevator issues they were having, but did not bother to tell me about it at check-in. Being on the 12th floor with elevator issues is not fun! I normally rebook my hotels, but this one I won’t!
- 5/5
Everything was great as always
- 4/5
Great breakfast, convenient location room clean
- 5/5
Overall, I think it was an outstanding trace and location for us. We don’t mind walking and it really did the job of having space, amazing food, a little bit of extra maintenance needs around the brand new and or updated shower areas. Several of our rooms had leaks, but they were right on it but as soon as we checked out.
- 1/5
I travel for a living and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I booked an Empire State Building view room for 3 adults with a king bed and a pull out sofa. We got put in a room with a double bed and had to wait, exhausted from traveling, to get put in the right room. They finally downgraded us and refunded me $200. Some of the staff was rude but I would imagine it’s because the entire place is run poorly and they are tired. The construction caused major issues with the elevator. Our toilet was broken. And I paid $600 a night after the discount. I will never return to this hotel.
- 3/5
However the reason of the 3 stars is the nightmare of the elevators, you need to wait for ever going down or up, with even worse delays at peek times. (Check in, out, breakfast and happy hour). Breakfast eventhough is very good, the amount of people make it complicated
- 4/5
The front desk staff, the restaurant staff, and the breakfast staff were all impeccable and well trained. The lobby, hallwaysand the entire environment is beautiful. We would definitely recommend recommended for future stays, especially if you’re OK with a short walk to Times Square or Broadway..
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfy, with an excellent view of the city.
- 2/5
Same breakfast every day bed not comptable
- 4/5
The included breakfast was a great bonus. Room was clean
- 4/5
The rooms were very clean, staff was nice, the breakfast and the complementary happy hour was excellent!
- 3/5
Negative: Room needs to be updated, you could see by the furniture that the hotel has a lot of traffic. Elevators take a lot of time to arrive especially during peak hours.
- 5/5
Great customer service. From the front desk to the housekeeping.
- 5/5
Very nice room. Elevator issues. Great breakfast.
- 5/5
Great room and location
- 4/5
Staff was great. The free reception was also and the breakfast options. One elevator was out so this was not good
- 1/5
Terrible facility. Stained bed linens, broken curtains, only 1 of 3 elevators working to service entire hotel & employees & MANAGEMENT don’t care about service.
- 4/5
Staff was very kind and attentive! The room was lovely and super clean, and the complimentary breakfast is always a plus.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Location great, room great. Breakfast was good. Elevators are terrible. Took 45 minutes to get myself mother inlaw in a wheelchair and my wife down to check out. I had to walk down and ask staff to come and try with mantinance elevator. Still took 20 minutes
- 4/5
Very nice staff and helpful all around. Hotel was under EXTREME renovation top to bottom, inside and out. 39 floors and 1 functioning elevator. You WILL wait 20 minutes for an elevator or take the stairs. Limited drink options, so bring your own. We would love to return after the renovations are complete as it is an excellent location near everything you would need to get to to make your trip as excellent as it could be!
- 3/5
There was an elevator out of service so it took upwards of 10 minutes to go up or down.
- 5/5
Excellent 👌
- 3/5
Hotel needs a little renovation but is good. perfect location. but i had one problem, i had a bag in my room and the housekeeper thought it was garbage and they threw it away, i had things in that bag. so yeah, that was a problem.
- 5/5
No. Missing the ironing board, floor wasn't vacuumed, bathroom pocket door on bathroom side was dirty and door key didnt work. The front desk did go above and beyond to get the key operable after 3 up-n-down-n-up's on the elevator. Kudos to her.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly & helpful
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. They all took care of me especially Jamela.
- 3/5
Better safe than sorry. The bathroom door which slides was raggedy and hard to slide due to the door being old and wood rotten. Toilet ran all day and night. Tv lost signal for an hour. I was the first person to report it and that when the maintenance crew found out all the tvs were down in the whole hotel. The day before checking out one of the elevators broke so it was a long wait and lines to to get my room. The day I checked out I waited for the elevator for 10mins. Happy was cool but on day 2 of my stay they ran out of tequila. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after waiting for about 15minutes the bartender name Nika was nice enough to just give me and my friend top shelf tequila for no charge. Running out of house tequila is odd. Overall the hotel was cool. They were renovating in the lobby so I couldn’t take the shortcut to the parking garage for my rental. Speaking of parking, the parking garage that the hotel uses was terrible. The staff was rude and slow with getting your vehicle and they asked that you call before you come to get your car but they don’t answer the phones so what’s the point. Hotel is in a great location I must say.
- 5/5
Everything was good

Very well

Every day I woke up and I enjoyed my day.
- 5/5
Everything was great we got room service Food was good. Next time I’m asking for a room higher up. I thought I would get a discount on parking but I didn’t. Otherwise it was good.

$50 NYC fee that wasn’t listed in the booking??!!! You should be listing ALL fees for the property prior to booking!!

Excelente servicio! Inigualable servicio al cliente, desde que llegas te hacen sentir como en casa. Excelente ubicación con fácil acceso a los lugares famosos de la zona.
- 2/5
Costumer service at front desk is not good, but the good service good is from Ashly , Dinu and Adan they are very good and very nice service
- 5/5
We stayed on the 34th floor absolutely beautiful!!
- 4/5
The room were clean, the stuff was helpful and friendly, only at the elevators was a line of waiting, but its understandable they're remodeling the building...so overall I liked it!
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly and helping as well as accommodating room was clean room service came by whenever asked for. The room I got had a great view the 33rd floor. I will definitely be visiting again.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Our bartender Nika was so nice and welcoming, we’re planning another trip and will definitely book with embassy!
- 5/5
Excellent service, clean room and great location to visit NYC
- 3/5
Hidden city tax $30 a day
- 5/5
Location, great staff, excellent breakfast
- 3/5
The room was ok. The sink had a huge crack in it. The hotel was undergoing construction. The access from the parking garage was closed and we had to walk about 5mins to the hotel..we walked from 36th st over to 37th st.in the snow with all of over suitcases and bags. Very unacceptable.
- 3/5
The front desk was nice, the female bartender is overstimulating, the housekeeping staff was horrible
- 5/5
Nice and convenient hotel to stay at while visiting the city!
- 5/5
Skip
- 2/5
Our room was located directly next to the elevator, and the constant noise from guests waiting for and exiting the elevator made it very difficult to sleep. The room had a strong dust odor. The bathroom showed signs of mold, and the door was damaged at the bottom. The bed was sunken and uncomfortable, and the pillows did not provide proper support. The elevators are small and very slow.
- 5/5
Very good hotel to stay at since it is walking distance to many attractions! Also, it took a bit to get my second room but I understand it was many travelers! So this is a amazing hotel!
- 5/5
Hotel provided happy hour, drink special and breakfast on site. Competitive pricing during Christmas time. Looking forward to return in the future
- 4/5
Comfortable stay , excellent location
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
Clean Room, Good staff, Nice little restaurant/ bar
- 5/5
Very Nice! Close to everything
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, every person I spoke with went above and beyond for us, the bar staff downstairs was phenomenal. The room was very spacious with decent storage for your clothes. Large shower with good pressure and very hot water, good smelling soaps on the wall. Each unit has individual HVAC units so you can set the heat or air to whatever you want which was very nice. Location was perfect, you’re a short walk from anything you may want for food or drinks and just a short subway ride to anywhere in the city you want to go. Will definitely be staying here again my next trip to the city.
- 3/5
Housekeeping was awesome and sweet although the common areas, hallways leading to my roo. Was filthy daily. One reason I booked here was the rooftop restaurant with the beautiful view, well there is constant drilling and hammering as there is construction going on all over the hotel. The rooftop restaurant is closed. There was fire alarms going off, they did get on the speaker and say its a false alarm and then it went off several times. Poor communication on a situation that could have been serious. The 38.00 a day I was charged as some kind of travel tax, When my week stay ended I owed another 2280.00 which did not amuze me. Very Holiday Inn type breakfast and room, absolutely nothing outstanding or above average. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. drilling 8
- 2/5
Overall, I would definitely not stay here again.
- 4/5
Convinent location, clean and great breakfast menu to start your day.
- 5/5
The room was kept very clean.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. Everything was nice besides.city view was beautiful. The only thing was drinks downstairs that was $25 for one drink. But I guess that’s what you get for a hotel. But everything else is was nice, I would definitely go back.
- 3/5
Management & staff needs to understand the meaning of hospitality.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Perfect location. Great food and very nice staff.
- 2/5
Room smelled old, stale and like cigarettes. One elevator worked. How to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get on an elevator. Great location, but I would never stay there again.
- 5/5
staff was amazing
- 1/5
Parking is handled through a partner garage, and the attendant was extremely difficult to work with. There appeared to be a significant language barrier, and because he was constantly moving cars in and out, he seemed unable or unwilling to spend time helping guests. This made an already inconvenient process even more frustrating. The hotel lobby is small, crowded, and clearly showing wear and tear. Given how busy the lobby area is, the space simply isn’t comfortable to linger in. This issue is made worse by the elevators, which are both small and slow. We frequently had to line up in the lobby just to wait for an elevator, adding to the congestion. While the rooms include free breakfast, the breakfast area is far too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel. Most mornings it was nearly impossible to find a table, and we ended up skipping the complimentary breakfast for much of our stay. The room itself was generally clean, which we appreciated. However, there were signs of poor maintenance, including broken or unstable furniture like a table that wobbled noticeably. Overall, while the location is convenient, the condition of the property, the overcrowding, and the operational issues made this stay fall short of expectations.
- 5/5
It was a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites
- 5/5
The overall cleanliness was excellent. The particular housekeeper for our room left a bit to be desired…annoying but not enough to give a bad rating overall.
- 4/5
The room supposed to have Empire State Building view, but view was blocked by another building backside. This was the only disappointing concern. Plus some employees were talking to me but looking some where else and it was weird.
- 4/5
Always a good stay here. Central location to where we wanted to be
- 5/5
good customer service, good breakfast, very clean
- 5/5
On Fridat night, I ordered doordash, however I never received the order. The front desk gentleman on the night shift took it upon himself to make sure I reported it as a scam because the doordasher took a picture of the CVS bag and marked it as delivered however I never received it. Both night shift workers we also amazing. I can't wait to stay there and see them again soon.
- 4/5
The room was clean and as advertised. Breakfast was crowded. Hard to move through the line and find a place to sit.
- 3/5
Very small breakfast area and poor layout. Small lobby , not enough seating area
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
Elevators were terrible
- 2/5
The breakfast area is on its own floor, but the crowds were insane. We were there during Christmas, so I get it, there was no place to sit, long lines, crowded elevator area. It was complete chaos. Eggs were soupy, potatoes were decent. Our rooms got switched at check in (I had asked for rooms close to each other or adjoining rooms prior to our check in, which went unanswered) so instead of my kids having 2 queen beds and a pullout, they had a king bed and a pullout, but at least we were next door to each other. Also, my room, there was blood in the crease of the sheets and mold in the shower. When I got home, I was also charged 2 separate charges on my credit card with no explanation. We didn't use the restaurant, and we didn't break anything. I called the accounting department and emailed the hotel through hotels.com and still have yet to get a response from 12/28. The location is great, but for everything else, I would steer clear of this place.
- 5/5
Walkable
- 3/5
Breakfast space was too small and long waits for elevators. Room nice but a bit tired and very small. Excellent location.
- 1/5
it’s not worth at all to waste your money in this hotel , it’s like 1 star motel not 600$ per night hotel , they let us wait 4 hours to have our room ready ,
- 5/5
The room was perfectly spacious. The staff was professional and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is SPECTACULAR‼️ I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Breakfast wasnt that good and despite it having different things on a menu board it didnt change breakfast much
- 3/5
Service could be better they take too long we feel like we have to call a couple of times to remind instead of listening to customers The bed is not as comfortable as it looks.
- 4/5
Hotels are expensive in my but embassy suites offer more for your money. Very nice and helpful staff everywhere. The place has Lots to offer.
- 5/5
Nice stay, would stay again
- 4/5
Clean room, attentive staff. Great location.
- 5/5
great breakfast, excellent location. room was small but everything worked
- 1/5
La atencion esmerada . Super recomendado El chef Jairo y Lina supervisora excelentes
- 4/5
the room was good. the only complaint was that there was a constant drip in the shower. it wouldn’t completely turn off and could be heard throughout the night
- 3/5
The rooms are small and not true suites like most Embassy hotels. The reception room/breakfast area is too small for so many people trying to eat and such. The elevators are slow so we took the stairs more often than not.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and a great location

Place is good. But parking is tricky. The hotel says they have parking but it is very limited. And it is two places one next door to another with the same name, and one doesn’t tell you that they are not the hotel’s, even when asked. When I complained to the hotel, they said “oh well”. I ended up paying almost double.

Good
- 4/5
My room was clean, and the breakfast was ok, the space is very limited so it’s extremely difficult to get a seat
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and nice.
- 3/5
Great stay, close to main attractions in the city.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and professional. Need to go boxes in the breakfast area. Long wait times for the elevators. Close proximity to tourist locations.
- 3/5
Room was tiny. And not very clean. The bed linens were stained. There was not enough room to sit for breakfast. Also, be prepapred ro wait for ever for an elevator. Location is great.

Nice hotel
- 4/5
As a Hilton member and stayed at Embassy before I was disappointed. Daily manager snack was not good. Random items, nothing went together. Popcorn, with chips/salsa, and yogurt. Breakfast was good especially with the omelette made to order. When checking in they hold a security deposit, that I was told I would get back on check out. Typical of hotels. That was not the fact, it’s a downtown fee that hotel stayers have to pay.
- 4/5
The staff are very nice and cheerful even when swamped with people, especially at breakfast. The only reason i did not give top score is because elevators can be very slow in mornings when people are all checking out or going to breakfast. Also the heat in our room sometimes was too hot or not hot enough. It was hard to find the right temperature sometimes. But yes, for sure would stay again and recommend. Location also good!
- 1/5
The reception lady make me felt unwelcome!

- 4/5
Good other than lifts taking as long as five minutes of waiting
- 3/5
Great location. Hotel itself not impressive. Mediocre service Poor breakfast choices and breakfast area so small couldn't find any tables to eat after second day stay we gave up and starting to buy begles and coffee from near by begal shop. the elevators are another issue ,we were literally waiting more then 10 minutes every time .Overall an ok stay but will definitely choose another hotel for probably better price .
- 4/5
Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Amazing property, clean great staff amazing views very close to everything. Lots of food options.
- 5/5
Love the location, central for dining, shopping and public transportation. Staff were all helpful, friendly, and welcoming, with polite, professional and courteous service. Our room was comfortable and clean, with nice amenities including toiletries, linens, lighting, plugs, and a refrigerator. Felt safe in this hotel, including the street and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great location for shopping. Staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of options including custom made omelets.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, rooms were clean and the views of the Empire State Building were breathtaking!! Such a great place, close to so many things to do and quiet when you need to relax from the hustle.
- 5/5
Room was very nice! Loved the view of the Empire State Building!
- 4/5
The staff went above and beyond
- 1/5
- they did not have our reservation in place when we arrived so we had to wait 40 minutes while they found a room. - our remote control did not work in the room. The engineer dropped off another remote in our room when we were out and it did not work. We call again and they came, had adjust some programming and gave us a new one. - 12:30 AM, (in the morning) a staff member banged on our door multiple times and tried entering the room. He could not because of the bolt and continued to bang until we woke up. It scared my wife to death. I answered the door and he told us that some one else had paid for our room and we had to go down to address this right away. This was resolved but not before he tried to enter the room banging ang banging in the middle of the night.

Everything was great.
- 5/5
The rooms were small and the elevator slow

Our choice to stay at the Embassy Suites on 37th Street was a good one. The staff was welcoming and helpful - something so rare these days. Our room was cleaned daily, the bed made and clean towels provided. This is also rare these days. The breakfast was a big reason we stayed here. The food was hot and always available. The made-to-order eggs were timely delivered to our table. Our room was nowhere near what appeared in the pictures - it was small, but it worked for us. The shower was looking a little tired and the shade on one of the bed lamps was missing. We were on the 37th floor right next to the elevator, which was convenient, but there was a knocking noise which I believe came from the elevator. Once we were asleep, we didn't notice it. I would stay at this hotel again for the welcoming staff, the daily room service and the breakfast.
- 4/5
The staff were wonderful, helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location.
- 4/5
Location was good, and hotel has great extra surprises as an afternoon snacks and credit for the bar at night. Both rooms had minor issues, mine has ta clogged toilet as soon we enter the room and my mother in law room, has issues with the shower glass, which was loose.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and great service
- 1/5
They were late with our check in. The last night our window broke and they didn’t come and fix it. We had to sleep in freezing weather.
- 5/5
So, this was probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Not only was location fabulous, but honestly, the staff was amazing. We were there on our honeymoon over Thanksgiving weekend and our stay unfortunately started with them accidentally giving us a room that hadn't been finished cleaning. To apologize for that, they not only upgraded our room to a room with an empire state view, but they also gave us goodies and prosecco for our honeymoon. The staff remembered us and were very polite and interested in how they can make our stay better. They recommended places too! Special shout out to Keanna for everything she did, anything they lacked or couldn't do, she more than made sure was made up for. I can't believe that I almost booked somewhere else and at the last second found a room here and decided to book here instead. I seriously couldn't be happier. Breakfast was pretty good considering hotel breakfast. You can get made to order omelet/eggs. Every day there was either blueberry/chocolate chip pancakes/french toast sticks. Nothing to write home about, but if you are at the hotel, it is a nice gesture for your guests. PLEASE BE AWARE: every hotel in a cosmopolitan city/vacation spot is going to charge you a resort fee. I have travelled all over the world and this is just how it is (check your detail receipt). At least this hotel lets you use that fee daily towards their restaurant or drinks. I really loved it here. 10/10 would come again.
- 4/5
Our stay was great. The staff was accommodating and let us know as soon as a room was available to check in since we got into the city early. They held our bags for us before and after we checked out. Very clean and great location and within walking distance of Times Square.
- 5/5
Great people. Busy breakfast
- 2/5
I had to call twice to have my room cleaned. There are no curtains and the shade is ragged. I am disappointed that this hotel has not lived up to the Hilton brand. The eating rooms were drab and dreary too.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
We were here for 4 nights, maid set was a hit or miss. Great location!
- 4/5
The check-in was easy. Teh hotel kept our luggage while we went out. The breakfast was really good!! The wait staff at the restaurant was very rude. Every time we went down. At times there was a long wait till she acknowledged us. The room was for three people and we only had two towels and rags. Two beds and only bedding for one. The room was clean and we had a great view of the Empire State Building.
- 3/5
Room was clean, but extremely small for an Embassy. There is inadequate space for the evening reception and breakfast. A hotel with nearly 40 floors of rooms for rent needs much more space, especially for breakfast. Guests shouldn’t have to check for empty tables on three separate floors before finally going back to their room to eat. The bar is lacking. A $30 resort fee to use at a bar that charges almost the much for a single drink and they don’t even have basic liquors to make common drinks.
- 5/5
Everything was great..will definitely come back here
- 5/5
Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping were great!
- 5/5
Vann was great great customer service. Great location. We’ll book again.
- 5/5
Very nice woiod recommended this hotel to my family
- 5/5
The room
- 4/5
Good location.
- 5/5
This hotel's location was perfect for a holiday visit. A very easy walk to Macy's to see their displays, and a comfortable walk to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, shopping, theater and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very kind. The bellman was amazing taking care of all the luggage to be held for early check-ins and late check-outs. We will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The stay was good catered to everything we needed. The only down side was the room sizing the rooms are quite small and I don’t think this is made clear enough for guest. While the sizing is displayed explain or just some simple text to let guest know this would be great to avoid any surprises.
- 5/5
Affordable hotel in a great location in Manhattan. Quiet and clean. Breakfast is not great

You need to get more help in the lobby bar/dine area. The staff working there was alone and the place was packed. She remained pleasant and friendly… but needed at least neither persons help

It was great I’d stay again!

Keehana (front desk, not sure if her name is spelled correctly) she was amazing! She helped me with my car issue and answered every question I had. She was friendly, energetic, and made me and my daughters feel like we were her main concern every time she saw us. The rest of staff were very friendly and helpful as well, but she stood out above the rest when it came to making us feel like top priority! (The I-Park guy was not very friendly....) Narda, helped us get our luggage to the parking garage as she walked by and saw us struggle, that was not her job, but she took the time to help, very grateful for her as well! Thank you for a great experience!
- 5/5
Check in was a breeze and we were able to get an earlier check in 😊
- 3/5
Rooms need a deep clean.
- 5/5
Location
- 3/5
The front desk person did not help or care to correct the issue.
- 4/5
We've stayed at this hotel twice and appreciate the location more than anything else, but also the rare, these days, real cleaning of the rooms daily without special requests or the attitude that other hotels have about actually doing the cleaning we are paying for. The staff is super efficient with the morning breakfast that is so chaotic. In the 2 full weeks we've stayed, not once has the breakfast been stocked with some pf the expected basics like bananas and apples. The other options are still good for what it is. Also, the evening manager's reception is pretty terrible with very poor selections and junk food, rather than more real wholesome food options like every other Embassy Suites we've stayed in around the country.
- 4/5
The location was between Penn Station and Times Square. The staff were friendly. The room was cozy, and fairly clean. The breakfast area doesn't offer a lot of seating, and we ended up taking the food to our room.
- 5/5
Overall great hotel. Centrally located which made it very convenient to get to all the major sights in midtown. Perfect if you’re staying in NYC for a few days visiting.
- 4/5
Rooms clean, though at times noisy relative to other guests, and Times Square sounds. Downside was the elevator wait time! Ugh! We enjoyed our stay! ( Relatives loved the $30 room credit, and happy hour drinks and snacks)
- 5/5
A bit crowded hotel but all good 👍
- 5/5
The staff is polite and very helpful. The rooms were recently renovated. Clean and convenient with easy access to Penn Station and Grand Central.
- 5/5
Great room with view of Empire State Building, fantastic location and amazing Breakfast and Evening reception
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and Heist Restaurant food was great. Excellent location,
- 5/5
The staff was lovely, kind and personable. Especially front desk and concierge. We loved all the special amenities. Personally, i liked the boutique feel of the hotel - no long and bleak hallways. Thanks Hilton!
- 3/5
Maid service is marginal, our room was only clean once on my 4 days stay.
- 5/5
Very nice spot near times square and bryant park
- 5/5
Courtesy staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and super accesible to subway station
- 5/5
The hotel was in walking distance to Times Square but far enough from the madness. Convenient places to eat nearby. The free breakfast omelettes were good. Also, they have free happy hour from 5 to 6:30 PM daily. I definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Excellent experience - great staff, nice amenities and a solid midtown location!
- 4/5
Very nice view from room, elevator is a bit slow, quiet, clean, good location for first timers
- 5/5
All very good
- 5/5
The breakfast buffet and made to order omelets was very good. The location was perfect for all our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great Location
- 4/5
Cleanliness and pleasant staff
- 4/5
Internet service was good. The breakfast was nice I did like the option of customizing the eggs. But some items could use improving especially with the pancakes and the potatoes. A waffle maker would be a nice addition and smaller cuts of potatoes.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but it was disappointing there was not a place to put our clothes except for our hanging things so we lived out of our suitcase. There was definitely space to put a small cabinet with drawers.I would’ve appreciate it some heavier bed linens as it was cold. The breakfast was definitely nice.
- 5/5
Location and staff
- 2/5
The bed was very uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a board! The pull out bed was also very uncomfortable where the coils in the so-called mattress dug into
- 5/5
Very clean , employees very courteous, amazing breakfast
- 5/5
If you're driving, there’s a parking garage directly behind the hotel that connects to the property, which is super convenient. My only complaint is that I wish the website had explained the parking situation more clearly—it would have saved me a $115 ticket. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience, and we’ll absolutely stay here again on our next trip to NYC. Thank you for helping make our visit special!
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was nice
- 5/5
For a big place lile that the eating are is way too small, my wife and I always have to wait for a table, no matter the time.
- 5/5
Clean room, good area close to tourist destinations
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The staff is great. It’s a great location just a couple of blocks to subway.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly. I wished breakfast had more variation and better quality.
- 5/5
Clean room, great location.

Friendly staff
- 4/5
yes
- 5/5
Awesome stay!
- 5/5
The staff is excellent. The breakfast is good. My only gripe is with the coffee. They need a better brew. It was not the best coffee.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. We would surely come back. Thank you.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, made to order eggs with a hot breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and pancakes. Cut fruit, oatmeal, and pastries also available. The hotel is busy so getting a table for breakfast can be challenging during weekends and peak hours. They also have an evening reception with light snacks and each adults gets 2 drink ticket for beer or wine or a premade cocktail. Premium beverages nor available but it was good enough. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would likely stay there again based on the convenient locations
- 5/5
Great location! Friendly staff and nice accommodations!
- 1/5
Bad service, dirty room and it looked smaller and …
- 3/5
Old and dirty. Staff are reasonably polite. Free breakfast is all right. Definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. For what I paid, not worth it. Would stay elsewhere next time.

Lights weren’t working in our room when we arrived (we arrived very late and just wanted to get to bed). An engineer was sent up within about 15 minutes and he did get them on for us (a fuse had tripped) but this continued to be a problem throughout the stay. There was A LOT of dark hair left on the back of our bathroom door - I requested this be cleaned every day we were there and it never happened. I was sleeping on the sofa bed in our room - it wasn’t made up when we arrived and the only bedding provided was one tiny blanket which smelt unwashed. I requested bedding and I received a sheet, which was taken away the next day and I had to request for it again. I finally had full bedding on the last night of our stay. Couldn’t ever work the phone in our room - no instructions were left how to use it. I was either using it incorrectly or nobody was answering it. Very frustrating when trying to rectify the constant problems. Breakfast was poor quality, allergens weren’t correctly listed, choice was limited. The breakfast room was also tiny so getting a table was difficult most mornings. Staff seemed to want to help when you spoke to them but nothing was followed up. We were told we’d receive a part refund for our troubles but no note was left on the system so this was denied at checkout. They knew this trip was for a big birthday for my mum who had never been to New York before, no effort was made to make it special. Only positive is the location is excellent.
- 5/5
Great breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
yes
- 3/5
Not so clean. Bathroom wasn’t really wiped clean. Coffee maker was sitting in a pool of coffee in the tray. That kind of stuff.
- 5/5
Ideally located, comfortable, friendly hotel very convenient to the Penn Station area. Would recommend for both business and leisure travelers. The breakfast options are great, and there is also a complimentary evening happy hour. The staff members are all excellent, as well-- especially the breakfast team and housekeeping team. I will stay here again. Thank you for an excellent visit!
- 5/5
clean room and great service
- 5/5
We stayed for 4 nights, the staff was friendly, the room was clean everyday and they let us check out late. Will definitely come back here next time we’re in the city.
- 3/5
I was charged an extra fee which they said could be used for food or drink at bar. 1 beer was 17.50 so if bought two use the $30 credit and still have to pay extra $5 and tip. I stayed in 42ns street last week and no fee. beware and look at hotels on 42nd versus midtown and 30's
- 4/5
The staff members were excellent. The rooms were clean and nice.
- 4/5
The staff was great! The only drawback was the needed refinishing of the lobby and food service areas. It’s getting dingy.
- 4/5
Thanks!
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff very polite. They were able to hold our luggage until rooms were ready. Breakfast was fair-food wasn’t very hot and the coffee was awful. Staff working were courteous asking if you needed anything.
- 4/5
Staff and service
- 4/5
If the breakfast had more variety, I would give it 5 stars
- 1/5
Skirt not worth it. Staff was inattentive and unorganized. The room was nice but not very clean. The breakfast is crazy and way too small for how many people come to eat. The elevators will have you late to everything, expect to wait up to 20 min during the morning hours and 10 during regular
- 5/5
Loved our stay!
- 3/5
kindy Staff
- 5/5
Great location, clean and nice friendly staff.
- 3/5
Rooms are ok but not great. Property description states bathrobes but they don’ have any. Furniture in common areas needs to be renovated.
- 5/5
Staff was great - rooms were nice. Need more elevators, but enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Our stay was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our weekend in Manhattan.
- 4/5
La chica de recepción muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar; la habitación aceptable
- 4/5
The staff of the hotel are very nice and they really go out of their way to help hotel guests most especially Ms Ola.
- 3/5
The outlets were broken and unusable, shower door fell off when opened. Elevator buttons missing, toilet seat broken. Cleaning staff was so friendly along with two other staff members.
- 4/5
Overall a decent location and nice if a bit outdated decor. My one small issue was the water did not get as hot as I prefer in the shower. Surprisingly good breakfast - many options!
- 4/5
Decent hotel
- 2/5
I picked this hotel for the included breakfast. In retrospect, I wish I would have looked around more. This was our 1st time coming to NYC. As a family of 5, it is an expensive vacation. Maybe every other hotel in NYC does the same thing but I was surprised as other Embassy Suites we have stayed at didn't have this fee. Embassy Suites is usually great for our family but this location has soured me on the chain.
- 5/5
Clean towels everyday. Breakfast buffet was very good. Reception evening was great and the drinks were made excellent! Loved Nika the most :))
- 5/5
Incredible experience! Excellent customer service!
- 3/5
Each morning when the room was cleaned a new bar of soap was provided which seems a bit wasteful. Provide liquid soap to save replacing bars of soap each morning. The outlets on both side of the bed were so loose that even lightly moving the wire caused the charging block to fall out. I’d recommend getting those fixed. Each morning the room was cleaned excellently and staff were quick to fix the cold shower water and flipped breaker that shut off electricity to the room that occurred on the first day.
- 5/5
Staff friendly and courteous. Excellent breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast was bland but can’t complain for free breakfast. The fruits seemed old
- 5/5
Good Breakfast options, Excellent Service
- 5/5
Great hotel, very nice, clean, and comfortable bedroom. Central location, very convenient. They offer complementary drink in the afternoon and the resolrt fee uncludes up to $30 to use with its restaurant (i did not expect this, thank you)
- 4/5
It was just ok not bad but ok
- 2/5
Never could find a table open to eat, they had the same food daily. It was so crowded you could barely move around.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with many options. It was a little crowded at times and you couldn’t get a place to sit to eat your breakfast but the staff was very friendly and helpful to get you seated as soon as possible.
- 3/5
It is nice to have the breakfast and evening snack however it is the same thing everyday. Its not hard to switch it up. They do not spend alot on the food bc its all bagged breads and plain yogurts. Ive had alot better at other hilton properties.
- 5/5
Parking was adjacent with a discount from hotel. Staff was professional with smiles and a willingness to help. We noticed that it ran smoothly.
- 5/5
Room was clean and flexible. Shower was hot. The outdoor sitting area on floor 3 was a fun bonus after a long day of walking the city. I appreciated the well lit gym area and the equipment in the gym.
- 3/5
Room was too small to fit 4 as advertised
- 2/5
I request a ADA wheelchair room and was given a hearing impaired room that my wheelchair could hardly enter base on the width of the doorway. The manager at the froth desk “Lied “ too my telling me the hotel was fully booked. However the housekeeping manager said that it wasn’t completely booked. Great Location but poor service
- 3/5
Breakfast too chaotic poorly serviced for seating
- 3/5
Room was very small. Lobby bar was small. Food was mediocre. Location was great withveasy cab access
- 4/5
Convenient location. Professional friendly staff.
- 4/5
This hotel is in a good location near Bryant Park. Our room was ready when we checked in and when we entered the room it was clean and had a great layout. We we traveling with my son and having the room with the sofa sleeper was perfect! The way they have it set up it's played out almost like there is a separate bedroom. Each areas had TVs.
- 4/5
It took too long for elevator. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Lovely
- 5/5
Nice and friendly staff
- 5/5
Hace falta más atención en español
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and definitely in a great location! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very small but we didn’t spend much time in them so it was doable. Main downfall was the size of the dining area. Way too many people trying to cram into a spot for breakfast (which was good also!). This led to the elevators being way over packed and way over used. Had to wait for a long time to get one!
- 5/5
Great balcony view of the Empire State Building. Staff was very courteous. Clean room and fast room service.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 4/5
No recommendations
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but very crowded. Managers reception was a nice bonus. Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
The room was a decent size for 3 of us. My daughter slept on the pullout couch, which turns into a twin size bed. She had her own TV, so that was nice. We didn’t get a view, since we chose the 3rd floor so we could check in early. The breakfast/cocktail hour space was small and crowded. Breakfast was ok. We are supposed to get the city charge of $30
- 5/5
The staff are friendly, the rooms are well-soundproofed, and complimentary water is provided in the lobby.
- 4/5
It was a very good stay the room was very big it was very clean and I loved the breakfast there it was amazing.but the view from the window wasn’t good and there was no seats in the breakfast room.
- 2/5
Staff was not friendly at all. Elevator was very slow.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly, plenty of amenities. Room smaller than expected and bed not comfortable. Bathroom very small and no space to put luggage
- 5/5
Good location to many walkable areas. Staff was courteous , rooms always clean .
- 5/5
It was in contruction.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the climate control was loud enough to interfere with my sleep. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
- 3/5
noisy no space fpr breakfast, No view stinks
- 4/5
Convenient area Food only adequate and eating area jammed Asked to have room cleaned but wasn’t upon return
- 3/5
Very small room for two people … no early coffee in the lobby for early birds
- 4/5
Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful. Not one complaint about my entire stay. Definitely will be staying here again!
- 3/5
Did not clean our room the next day.
- 3/5
Location was okay, couple blocks off Time Sq, but not much around it, far from fifth ave. The elevators were slow, took a long time if you are on higher floors. Breakfast area didn’t have enough seating. No, not all rooms are Suites. This is not the typical Embassy, but subpar. I would not stay again! The staff esp at restaurant/bar doesn’t go out of way. The pizza here was the worst I ever had.
- 5/5
Great location. Friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast, nice room. Internet was not the best. Highly recommend
