Good size room for NYC! Immaculately clean. Front desk very helpful.

The mattress was smelly so it was a bit disgusting to sleep on it. It says the rooms are 31m2 but if it is true, it certainly doesn't feel so. It's very tight. The floor was dirty when we arrived and there were some food debris behind the bed. Breakfast was bad.

I would t recommend staying here. The rooms are incredibly small, there’s little counter space in the bathroom.

This hotel was clean and near where I needed to be in Brooklyn. Very easy to get on the train to Manhattan and on to LGA as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only drawback at all would be the breakfast- the coffee was not really hot but they did offer several different milk/cream options. I was going out for breakfast anyway so lack of options was not an issue for me but it might be for others. I'll be back!

There was a strange noise that you could hear all day long. It was a weird buzzing sound coming from the wall. This was my second time staying there and the first time the experience was so much better.

It was clean and the beds very comfortable, but the only problem was the parking. They accommodated me and my daughter.

The only issue we had was not having many options for breakfast left after 9.30am as once the food finished they wouldn't top it up. Also no toilet brush in the bathroom was an issue for my partner 😅

They misled me, and charged for parking my car - which was supposed to be free.

I stayed with my two friends at this hotel and we were very pleased with our stay. We stayed for 4 nights, 5 days in a two-bedroom for a very reasonable price, including a good breakfast for a 3-star hotel (they served fruit, toast, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage and had a waffle machine). It was very clean. If ever the parking lot is full, which is probably often the case, don’t worry, we parked our car under the bridge close to the hotel for free and had no issue (no theft, vandalism or fine). It was very easy to head to downtown NYC (an average of 30 minutes that felt like 20 minutes). Overall would highly recommend.

The hotel was convenient and clean for my weekend trip. My only complaint was the parking is limited and first come, first serve.

This is a basic hotel in a terrific location. Rooms are tiny; ours with a king bed had barely enough room to walk around the bed. Room amenities are fine - K-cup type coffeemaker, mini refrigerator, ice bucket. Extremely clean. Housekeeping service every day without asking or paying extra. Staff were friendly and professional. Nice little breakfast with an egg dish, sausage/bacon, and make-your-own waffles every day. We have stayed here twice and will certainly stay here again when we return to the Park Slope neighborhood. Luxury it is not but a great bargain by Brooklyn standards. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for the price, very clean and comfortable, helpful and friendly staff, good location near some eateries and not far from the Subway. The breakfast isn't great - but just as you'd expect at the budget end - but there's a superb deli and bagel place just slightly down the hill. Would recommend, very handy for the cruise terminal.

I especially want to recognize Marilú at the front desk. She was extremely friendly, accommodating, and very helpful throughout my stay. Excellent customer service like hers really makes a difference. The only thing I would suggest for future guests would be a simple TV channel guide card next to the television. Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely stay there again!

One of our reading lights was broken but I forgot to ask staff about that. The rooms were advertised as quiet from outside traffic and I agree with that despite the proximity to the highway. Blackout curtains were good. I’d suggest staying on higher floors which have a nice view of Manhattan. I also note the stairways readily accessible and very bright and clean. Parking out back is limited but super helpful if space is available. Also some parking on street. I did not eat breakfast there but the reports were that it was not great- fruit was limited, typical hotel breakfast - but so many places to eat around the corner on 4th or 5th Ave that didn’t matter to us. I’d stay again for a weekend. Shoutout to Bijorn and Eddy at front desk helping us out.

I recently stayed at this hotel. The location is great but we had a small hiccup the first night. There was an odd/bad smell in the room. We asked to change rooms and couldn’t do it until the following day. I got clean sheets to try to help the situation. The woman at the desk at night was very helpful and understanding. I had asked the following day AND at check out if I can be compensated anything for the first night since it was not up to par and I was told yes. It was my fault for not following through but I was then charged the entire amount for the room and I don’t believe I should have been.

I was there for 4 nights and the room was made only 1 time. I had to requests towels and coffee. I was also charged $20 per night extra so I could get a 3rd floor room. The room was small with 2 beds. I will not be staying there again.

This property was an excellent choice. It was clean from top to bottom. The breakfast area was easy to navigate. The room was excellent. Everything worked. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It was very clean, so clean we could smell it when we walked in our room. The staff was corteous and polite. The hotel breakfast was the best we've ever seen- lots of hot options like eggs, crispy potatoes, and bacon, which far exceeded the typical "continental breakfast" offerings. The only thing I noticed that needed attention was that our room telephone didn't work. Other than that, this is a nice hotel for business travelers or tourists, and I would happily stay here again.

Breakfast selection was superb, every day was a little different to make each day feel special. The GM made smoothies for everyone one morning too. Staff were all so kind and helpful, I needed scissors to fix something on a shirt one morning and they had some I could borrow. The staff who manage the breakfast area was on top of keeping everything stocked and cleaning the area multiple times throughout breakfast as well. Location is great, about a 7 minute walk from a subway station and a 3 minute walk from a bus station. Lots of local eateries within 15 minute walk to check out.

We had a very good experience staying here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they had good breakfast options including grab and go cold items like yogurt, bagels, and cereal as well as hot items like eggs, sausage, and waffles. The room was clean and a comfortable temperature. They were also very accommodating. After our last night, we were switching hotels and they stored our luggage for us until we could check in to our new hotel. The only drawback was the room was quite small. I thought we reserved two queens but the beds were definitely fulls and the room barely fit them. But we made it work and enjoyed our stay!

Need to improve breakfast quality

Parking was easy but for $312 I expect a working refrigerator and a working ironing board. The temperature knob in the refrigerator was broken, and the ironing board was in pieces literally. The staff was nice and tried to sort things out. I put the blame on greedy management. They want the money with 3rd world offerings.

I was on the 6th floor i think, and i am guessing the builders forgot to add any sound proofing or sound mitigation to that floor. All night a baby Stonehenge on that floor cried every hour (not the baby's fault, but it sounded like it was in my room, crying in my ear -- not in a different room separated by what i assumed were fully functional walls), and when the baby stopped around 530am the elevator started as people began to leave. And the elevator also sounded like it was in my room!! I'm not that picky with noise and bustle, but this was the worst I've ever had- all the sounds came through those walls, and they were all just a tad loose than they needed to be. So basically i slept a total of about 5 hours, but in sad little 45 minute increments.

The staff was great and very friendly and accommodating. The location is good too. You have easy access to major streets and highways. The rooms are small but we made it work. They charge $38 for parking and only have 13 spaces in the back which is very TIGHT and maybe 4 spaces in front for a hotel that size. Make it make sense. On our first day, . I had already paid for parking and left out for the evening and when I came back all the spaces in the back were filled so I ended parking up front on the sidewalk. There is very limited street parking so I'm curious as to where the other guests parked.

We were given the first room without hot water. After twenty minutes, the room changed. Recepciyonist was extremely rude to me when he was polite to everyone, he gave me the card to try this room, he almost threw the card away. The face of the receptionist who saw my Turkish passport while registering fell. I think he changed his expression towards me after my passport and he was racist. When we went to the second room, the room was cold, we called, the mechanic came, the mechanic came, this room will not heat up until the morning tonight. He said change the room, it was 12 o'clock at night, but the receptionist said you will wait, I opened it from here, it will warm up. The room never warmed up. I wrote to Expedia. The receptionist called at 2-3 at night and said you wanted a room change. I didn't change rooms at 3 a.m. because of fatigue and slept in a cold room. He didn't even apologize. He treated me especially badly, he was consciously adjusting the room temperature from below. He put me to sleep in the cold room on purpose. The receptionist changed in the morning, the room warmed up. The new receptionist apologized. I couldn't sleep all night, I'm cold and I'm going to be sick because of the cold. I could sleep in another hotel for $120 in a warm room. Never come.

My boyfriend and I visited New York for his cousin's party, during which we stayed at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, and I appreciated the view of the city; however, the rooms are notably small. The location of this hotel is very convenient for exploring Park Slope, Greenwood, and Sunset Park area. The hotel is pretty new, with everything in good condition. No frills, but we found it to be comfortable and a great value overall.

For some reason my room in the basement had a weird noise from the bathroom ceiling, it sound like a pressure from the pipe when someone flushed the toilet, it's quite loud and woke me up few times every night, i mean it's kind of annoying if you just want to be quietly take a rest. Also i think the janitor room and the kitchen is also in the basement so you can hear staff rolling the cart around and it pretty loud, like someone slamming the door etc, I think it wouldn't had this problem if you're on 2nd floor or above. In my opinion, basement shouldn't had any room, not a very good experience for me, i only stay there for 2 night so didn't bother to complain but if I am stay longer i definitely will say something. Probably will not come back again.

Let me start out with the positive. The front desk attendant, Bijorin was amazing. Very kind, patient and helpful. Although it took 45 minutes for me to be checked in, he never gave up and kept reassuring me that I would get the room that I booked. The problem was that Expedia/Hotels.com did not submit my reservation correctly and the hotels front desk attendant could not find my reservation in their system. Finally after contacting Hotels.com and staying on the phone for 30 minutes the problem was finally resolved.

Somewhere between Expedia and Comfort Inn my reservation was lost. I was denied a room that had been prepaid thru Expedia. 4 days later I’m still begging to be refunded. I had to find another room an Uber ride away in the dark rain.

We had an excellent five night stay in a 2 bed one bedroom w a fridge. Our check in was at 3pm, but they let us store our luggage and even check in early if the room was ready (we arrived at 12pm). The subway station was only a 6 min walk away, it was quiet, and we always came back to a clean room at the end of the day when room service dropped by while we were sightseeing. The reviews are right about breakfast! I planned my stay here heavily based on the free breakfast quality, and I am grateful for all the good food and variety of options offered everyday (cereal, eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausages, waffles, different assortment of bagels/bread, fruit, condiments, milk, coffee, refreshments, etc). The general manager even made a surprise appearance during breakfast hours and was the omelette chef for anyone who wanted. Breakfast options alternate! There's also a common area toaster and microwave/water in the lobby. Also, some good NYC pizza called Brother's Pizza is nearby if you ever super hungry and need to eat fast.

I was very impressed with the housekeeping staff, we had our room cleaned, new sheets and towels every day, I haven't seen that type of service since 1985! Haha! Truly impressive. The breakfast offered many options and the food looked appetizing and the staff took care to make sure there was always enough of everything! I enjoyed my stay!

The room is clean, staff are helpful , breakfast is good but the breakfast place is small and cramped. We were booked Jan.2-4 but our flight was delayed so we couldn’t check in on Jan. 2 ( the staff is aware since I called them) instead we came in the morning of January 3rd around 9:45am and to our surprise the room is not ready for us! While it should have been ready the day before?? Was the room given to somebody else because we couldn’t make it on Jan. 2nd?

Hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable! The manager made a point to greet us which made us feel welcomed. Comfort Inn is located in a quiet area, which was a 5 min walk to the train station, so very convenient for getting to and from different areas. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone visiting New York!

The room was small but clean . I found if you have a coffee maker in the room you should at least provide 2 bottles complimentary water . The breakfast was good but the setting could’ve been more modern as well as fruits can be added to the menu. Staff was polite area was safe but the site should specify that the free parking is on the streets and the property parking is free.

The room is advertised for 4 people… I don’t think so. We were 3 adults and not ideal… 2 adults and 2 kids would still be tight… the actual space for moving around in the room is very tight, but that’s a design flaw not the staff issue. I don’t think these quarters should be advertised as can accommodate 4 people. Honestly 2 Otherwise it was a short stay and the facilities was very clean

Everything was great

The place is nice and employees are nice specially the person who is taking care of the breakfast is very nice and accommodating. She just look at you and she ask right away if you need anything. When you ask her something she refill it right away. Same as the person at night that when i needed a hot water the front desk call someone and did it for me. The only thing i didnt like is i have to pay for the parking per night which is expensive. It will be 5/5 if the parking is also be free.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for every need we had. The breakfast was always great with many options for everyone. The Hotel was in a great location with a short 5 minute walk to subway right into NYC. The rooms are small but super clean. Will definitely be staying here again.

The property was in a great location! Safe, convenient, everything was close and parking was great! Limited, but if you get a hold of a spot, it’s awesome. We didn’t try the breakfast. Only downside was the room was pretty cold. We tried to raise the temperature but it either wasn’t working or we didn’t know how to use it. Yes, we were cold, but just being a little bundled up and using the blankets was fun for us. If it was truly a problem, we would’ve voiced it to the staff.

It was not a good stay. The room was clean but it was so small you had to almost walk sideways to move around in the room. One towel per person in the bathroom. Ridiculous. The breakfast was horrible. They had like 10 construction workers taking up all the space in their small and tight dining area. The options were slim. So I wouldn’t count on their breakfast. Those construction workers weren’t even staying there. They just showed up for the food at 7:00 AM sharp and made hotel guests had to wait for them to get out the way. Breakfast starts at 7:00. They didn’t even have plates!! Had to wait. Plates super flimsy. It was a mess. I’d find somewhere to stay in Brooklyn!

The young lady at the front desk was wonderful! Kind, helpful and delightful! Unfortunately our tv never worked and the room was freezing despite our efforts to warm it up!

The evening front desk person was very nice and checked us in quickly, the room was on the small side but clean and comfortable. Just like the hotel , safe reliable, clean and comfortable.

The location for an overnight stay before a cruise out of Brooklyn cruise terminal was the focal point of our reservation. We understood that parking was first come first serve, that was expected on our arrival. Only reason for our “okay” booking were the pillows and mattresses being very uncomfortable and continental was okay didn’t have a lot of options. Staff was very pleasant and helpful

Breakfast was nothing special , same things everyday, no varieties. I wouldn’t consider to stay there again , and look for other options.

We arrived early and got to check in early which was really nice. The breakfast was 10/10 my only issue is it can get a little cramped with other people running around to get their meal as well but the food was amazing good options. The room was very clean on the smaller side but it was okay for the two of us. We went with a double just because it was one of the cheaper options. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Bonus was the parking in the back even though it was an additional cost. We will more than likely book here again in the future.

It was great!

My room had hair all over the floor and on the towel. I switched to a cleaner room but it was also unpleasant- it smelled very strongly of fragranced cleaners, the overhead light was a blueish white light, and a buzzing sound was coming from the bathroom light even when I switched it off-all of which gave me a headache and made it very uncomfortable. There is also a lot of highway traffic noise.

The stay was generally okay but I'd be a little hesitant coming again. Though parking is said to be available, it is not guaranteed. For the first night I had to find parking on the street; and that area is not easy to find. The room is SMALL and generally clean, but we noticed a smudge on the wall- nothing concerning though.The tv remote wasnt working and a suitable replacement was never given. Breakfast was ok. Staff was courteous and professional.

Bedroom floor wasn’t vacuumed and bedding wasn’t replaced even after requesting. The duvet is sandwiched between 2 loose sheets, which is strange. The area also feels dodgy after sunset. However, there’s good train links, the staff is very helpful and they keep your packages and luggage safely.

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Brooklyn and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the room was clean and cozy. The whole staff at the Comfort Inn were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the “ Receptionist”. For those who love New York style pizza, Luigi's near is to comfort inn it’s a great spot to check out, wishing you a wonderful time

One of my complaints is that TV has no smart features, meaning you can't cast from your phone to watch your own streaming service as the TV we have in our room was very basic. Another off putting thing is that they use paper plates for their breakfast buffet service. I just hope that this wouldn't make the rest of the hotel guests (none of them native English speakers) would think that all hotels in the US would have their guests use paper plates. But I would still say this the place was very clean and very quiet and the service was excellent.

Everything as we expected

The room was a little too warm for me but I guess thats better than being too cold. I would have liked some type of soap dish for the bar soap on the sink. The room is small but for me & spouse it was okay, can't image more than 2 adults in a room. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. It was a great location for us because it was close to our daughters house so we could walk it to her apt. I would stay there again.

Check-in was awful. I was put in a basement room, it was dark and on the same floor as the cafeteria with minimal WiFi, and that was with the hotel provided WiFi. The room I got was nothing like the picture of what I paid for. I called the front desk to discuss it, and was told it was an Expedia problem. I got what I paid for. I could not move to another floor because they were all booked. It was the worst stay. Loud from the second we got there until we left. We were near the elevator, cafeteria, and cleaning staff. So disappointed.

The hotel was very good. I just didn't get parking when I arrived. When we went out and came back. There wasn't no parking and I'm handicap and can't walk far. They suggested to park the car under the bridge, but it didn't look safe for me or my car.

I've never been to New York, so maybe this is normal, but I made the reservations several months ago, and was stuck in the lowest level, a CR (cellar) with no windows, at the end of a hallway next to the staff's kitchen area. I won't be back at this location again - and the coffee pot in the room wouldn't work - I tried to tell the lade at the front desk, but she didn't speak English.

Stay was good. Area is safe and very convenient to the subway station. Wish there were choices for food in area especially if returning back to hotel late night. Also hotel needs to consider keeping towels and stuff based on the people staying in the room. If room is booked for 4 guest and keeping 2 towels doesn't make sense. Breakfast was really really good and staff was amazing.

All in all our stay was good. Just a little thing that could have been better. 13 tight parking spots are available at this hotel. Anything larger than an small SUV is going to not fit. The TV remote didn't work properly. Our two queen beds room was very tight for four adults with luggage. Our experience with the cleaners was outstanding!! Very friendly and willing to get us what we needed for our stay.

My family of 4, including 2 young adults, stayed here and it truly was a great experience. We had the tough task of finding a place to stay that also had parking because we were on a roadtrip. The Comfort Inn had parking we needed. There aren't a lot, but we did get a space and that really saved us. (We arrived right before 5:00 on a Friday.)The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We loved that it was such a convenient location for getting around. Thank you.

I appreciate the private parking, the quietness of the hotel, and the safety of the area.

Property advertises that there is parking however, they fail to mention that the parking is limited. Everyday that we were there they said the hotel parking is full, when we checked they probably had no more 10 parking spots. They told us to park under a bridge which looked very unsafe - homeless people slept there & birds pooped all over the cars. The rooms are very small & had very little space to move around, same goes for the breakfast area. The price we paid was not worth it.

This place offered everything I needed. The rooms are small with a large comfortable king size bed with lots of pillows. Tv with a wide variety of channels, mini fridge, coffee maker. Maid service every day offering fresh towels and cleaning service daily. Next to subway and near a lot of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Stayed 10 nights visiting family. 3-blocks from subway, restaurants nearby within a few blocks walking distance. Parking very limited, costs $38/ni if available. Rooms very small for a 10-day stay, no laundry onsite but laundromat a few blocks away, room supplied with fridge, shared microwave in lobby. Very clean, housekeeping provided. Thin walls-can hear neighbors speaking, doors slamming and footsteps in stairwell. Free breakfast until 10a daily. Staff very friendly and available when needed. Very pricey but would stay again because close to family, clean, and well kept property.

Overall had a great stay here! The rooms are very small but we didn't spend much time in there so it was okay. Everything in our room was clean, my only complaint is that some of the towels were super thin and probably needed to be replaced (but thats just me nit picking lol). The hotel is conveniently located near the Prospect Ave subway station, and it doesn't take too long (~30-45 mins) to get into Manhattan to see the popular tourist attractions. It felt like a safe neighbourhood to walk around in even at night. All of the staff were very kind and accommodating to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to NYC.
