Charming hotel. The lounge area - Rick’s Cafe - was a wonderful spot to relax. Room was quite small, but manageable.

The only place we stay in NYC. Central location and walking distance to all the theaters. Staff is AMAZING and property has a “Living Room” where coffee, water and snacks are available 24/7 as well as a place to just chill out and relax so you don’t have to sit in your room if you want to have some rest time. Love this hotel.

This is now my favorite hotel in New York City, particularly if I am going to see a show. The staff were courteous and friendly. The continental breakfast was just right. I love the attention to detail in the room in the bathroom. I’ve been to Morocco and this really feel like I was there experiencing the beautiful Moroccan hospitality, a major plus is that the hotel gives you a sticker that gets you a discount on parking which is literally steps from the front door. Another major plus was water and coffee available all day so when our feet got tired about midday from shopping, we went back to the hotel for water and a coffee, and we felt like we were sitting in our own living room. I will absolutely come back.

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Casablanca over Easter this year. The location is extremely central and easy to access the subway and other transport, and very close to many theatres. We had a minisuite which suited our family of four (including two teenagers) very well - it had a bedroom with two doubles, and a foldout sofa bed in the lounge, great to have the extra space for our five-day stay. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and it was no problem to request a mini-fridge for the room. We really appreciated the breakfast and the snacks/drinks available in the lounge - really nice to come back in the evening after a busy day and have a cup of tea and a snack before bed. Nothing!

Room was clean, staff was welcoming and informative when we ask questions about the city. If we ever come back to New York, we would stay there again.

The hotel is extremely nice. The room was large and the bathroom was huge. The hotel was very pretty and very clean. All of the hotel staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed Rick's Cafe on the second floor. It was perfect for breakfast and we enjoyed that feature of the hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location and close to theaters and nice restaurants. Our room was also very quiet and the bed very comfortable, so this insured a good night's sleep which you need to be ready for a couple of days in NYC! Nothing....can't improve on perfection. We love boutique hotels!!

S really comftable, friendly hotel with great sized rooms. The staff are extremely friendly and will offer up help with anything. The cafe on the second floor is open 24 hours so you can pop down for a mug of tea or coffee whenever (proper sized mugs too). Great continental breakfast to start you off and complimentary water. Well, Times Square is horrible. Dirty, smelly and to be avoided at all costs. However, just a block or two over and you can get decent food on 9th Ave or a pint without having to fight through a sea of drunk idiots. Luckily, once you are in Casablanca you can barely hear the city or see the bright lights.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our flight was cancelled so we ended up missing the first night of our stay and they offered a refund for that night without us asking. The staff working in the breakfast area were also very accommodating and they remembered the things we liked after coming for a couple days. Only complaint is that the continental breakfast was lighter than expected. Would’ve been great to have a few more protein options.

Right next to Times Square. Staff very polite. Very clean. Old and dark plus breakfast pretty poor (no hot food or much selection). Windows in room were glazed and couldn’t open so you couldn’t see out, due to view being a courtyard of bins and smelly air con units.

Only complaint is that the continental breakfast was lighter than expected. Would’ve been great to have a few more protein options.

Great location for Times Square/Broadway shows. Nice continental breakfast options. 24 hour water and light snacks available. Others have mentioned a complimentary happy hour/wine gathering, but I don’t think that is available any longer. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We have just spent a 3 day stay in this charming hotel. It’s intimate and very cosy. The staff is absolutely lovely. Very smiling, very helpful. The blonde hair lady at breakfast is so kind. The room was confortable and very clean. It was overlooking the backyard, so it was a little bit dark. But when you are in New York, you spend your days outsider anyway. Drinks and snacks available all day long are really appreciated. Thank you ! If we have a chance to come back, we will choose a larger room (petite queen style was a little bit tiny for us).

This was my second visit to the Casablanca and it was another excellent trip. The room was immaculate and quiet. The staff were welcoming, helpful and checked in with me regularly (which was great as a solo female traveller). It's the perfect location for being in the thick of NYC but also within easy reach of key subway lines. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great location, very convenient for getting around the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, everything was smooth and easy. Some noise could be heard from outside or neighboring rooms.

The staff was exceptional - holding all doors open for you, hailing a taxi, greeting you with a smile, and by name, keeping the rooms very clean as well as the breakfast and 24/7 snack area. This snack area was especially nice as you were able to get bottled water and sparkling water in cans, along with fruit, pastries, healthy chips all day and night as well as a very nice breakfast in the morning. Another unique aspect of this boutique hotel is the ambiance, right in the middle of bustling Times Square. The hotel is only 6 floors and has a beautiful Casablanca decor. We have stayed in the Times Square area many times over the past 40 years and have just now found our "Go To" hotel in NYC.

High professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They provided help in resolving all minor issues that arose while planning leisure activities in the city. the room exceeded all expectations in terms of comfort and compared to other similar hotels in the city where we had previously stayed, was outstanding. They also kindly agreed to store our luggage free of charge 10 days before check-in - something i have never encountered before.

Everything was perfect. The front of house staff were knowledgeable and polite. The cleaning and waiting staff were also extremely friendly and made sure everything was perfect for us. The breakfast is excellent- porridge, bagels, cereals, toast etc. And the hot chocolates are amazing!! Not only does the breakfast room open in the morning, but the room is also open all day, so you can help yourself at any time to snacks and drinks! Perfect after a long day walking exploring the city. The front of house staff even upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival! The hotel location is fantastic - it literally takes seconds to walk to Times Square, and about 2 minutes to the nearest subway which has direct trains downtown. Perfect venue - book it!

Staff were very helpful and were always positive. The location can't be beat if you're there to see Broadway - exit the door and go 10 steps down the road and you're standing in Times Square. Downside was the hotel could use an update. It was a pricey booking and I was expecting better considering there are other options in the area where we've stayed in the past.

I come to NYC often, but when I bring my daughter, this is the hotel I like to stay at most. The staff by far are the best part about this hotel. I feel safe here with my daughter, it’s almost like an at home type of feel, like at grandmas house or something. I’m not sure how to explain it. The location is perfect, right close to Times Square but still sort of tucked away so not smack dab in the middle of everything. It’s an older hotel, yet still very nice. The bed is comfortable and I like that water, coffee, tea, fruit, and pastries are offered for free around the clock.

At first glance, this boutique hotel doesnt give a wow factor, but when you step inside it was such a realization that this was a perfect choice for your stay in NYC. It is located in such a great spot near everything. The amenities include all day water, coffee and tea. There are snacks. Just such an added bonus when you go to an expensive city like NY. Our room bathroom was updated and decorated nicely, with added slippers for comfort. Again, more bottled waters in room. The room itself could get an upgrade, but honestly how much time are you really in a room when in NYC! I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. Staff was so friendly and cheery.

This was an excellent hotel to stay in for a visit to New York. Located less than a minute’s walk from Times Square and close to subway stations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was clean and homely. I would highly recommend this hotel if coming to see The Big Apple!

Though located next to one of the busiest intersections in Times Square, with some road work and jackhammers operating as I entered the lobby, my room was cozy and completely quiet. I would really like to know how they managed that feat! I slept undisturbed all evening and well into the morning after a long day's journey. It's conveniently located to subway lines, theaters, shops and many excellent restaurants. It is not a modern place, but it is snug, clean and friendly.

The staff are top notch and so welcoming. And the room was very comfortable with a large, full size bathroom with soaking tub. A wonderful surprise after experiencing tiny hotel bathrooms at other NYC hotels. The included continental breakfast had fresh toasted bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and fruit with outstanding coffee. There is a good diner and Italian restaurant right outside the hotel door and of course you’re literally steps away to everything in Times Square. And though you are right in the heart of it all, it is SO quiet inside the rooms. We slept great and didn’t hear any noise. Our favorite thing besides the awesome location, amazing staff and spacious room/bathroom was the second floor lounge with fireplace and snacks/drinks available 24 hours a day. We are sad to leave our new “home” in NYC, but can’t wait to come back! You will love this hotel.

Ever wanted to go back in time and feel like you were a star in a movie during ⭐ ✨ Hollywood's Heyday? Well, if so, Casablanca is the place where class and culture collide in the most amazing way. My wife planned the whole trip and could not have picked a better location-steps away from Times Square. 🏙️ he staff, especially Joe was there every step of the way. Continental breakfast at Rick's Cafe, or stepping through a door into the adjoining restaurant Tony's. We are still talking about the family sizes. The strawberry Shortcake fed us and the table next to us with leftovers. Don't miss the famous Brooklyn Dinner. It was the gi-normous potpie and the mac N cheese for us. We checked out other Times Square hotels and this is our new NYC home away from home. One note: It's old school, so boiler heat and in-room air conditioner, so ask for a heater if you are cold nature or bring a heated throw. We wish we had gotten a suite as the queen rooms are a bit cramped. This was the best trip. We are already planning our next trip back. Here's looking at you kid! 🫂 💕

Our stay was amazing. The room was clean and the amenities they had for us was exceptional. The staff did an amazing job from holding the door for us as we left or came back down to making sure the room was tidied up everyday. The breakfast was nice and had a good selection of drinks and food. The staff for breakfast were also extrenely nice and helpful. Seeing as the hotel is directly next to times square there is an abundance of shops. I would definitely and plan to book this hotel for all my future stays.

A quiet, comfortable oasis less than a block from Times Square! Hardly any street noise. Tastefully decorated room with an enormous bathroom (a surprise upgrade when we checked in!). We appreciated the beautiful lounge "Rick's Cafe" with a fireplace and comfortable seating where we enjoyed complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks 24-hours/day and a generous continental breakfast with attentive servers each morning. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. They even phoned us shortly after checking in to make sure the room met our expectations! Wow!

The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was within walking distance. Also, it was nice to have access to light refreshments throughout the day without an extra charge.

Excellent! Staff went above and beyond! I wish I could recall the name of the staff member at the front desk that provided me with a small fan to sleep with. I ask every hotel I visit for one and Casablanca has been the only one to provide it! I really think he went out and purchased it just for me! Very pleasant and friendly staff! Highly recommmend

Excellent! Staff went above and beyond! I wish I could recall the name of the staff member at the front desk that provided me with a small fan to sleep with. I ask every hotel I visit for one and Casablanca has been the only one to provide it! I really think he went out and purchased it just for me! Very pleasant and friendly staff! Highly recommmend

The staff were amazing and polite and respectful. The lounge on the 2nd floor with the fireplace and free coffee was about the best thing during my NYC trip. After a day of sight seeing and walking around the city, a cup of coffee by the fire was exactly what I needed.

Great staff! Rick's cafe was very convenient for those after bar munchies! You can walk right into Tony's bar area from the lobby. Literally right around the corner from the ball drop! Quaint charm and character.

The staff is outstanding. My wife left her ring on the bedside table. We called on the way home. They immediately sent someone to the room to retrieve the ring. We sent them a self addressed envelope and a few days later the ring arrived back at our home. A lot of hotels would not have done this.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, room was big, and the 24 hour lounge was a great added bonus. The staff were so friendly and nice. The room temperature was a little hot for our liking, but other than that it was perfect.

Great hotel! The staff were friendly everytime we entered or exit the hotel. We had a couple issues and they were great as resolving by the time we came back everything by was sorted. Breakfast was great just before heading out all day and the free water bottles were great. Would definitely recommend this hotel, slap bang in Times Square but couldn’t hear any noise

Everything overall was fantastic!! The service, staff, and hotel were completely amazing. The only thing that I would like to add was the air conditioners were a little too tricky for me, but other than that, I have absolutely NO complaints!!

The only suggestion that I have is to have a larger variety of real juices. The Tropicana Orange Blend drink was less than desirable. Otherwise, great place, excellent staff and a secluded quiet place less than a football length from Times Square.

This was our second stay at the Casablanca Hotel and we just love it. The hotel is quaint and beautiful. The staff are wonderful. The location is fantastic. We walked all over for wonderful shopping, the theatre, dining and Central Park. The second floor continental breakfast is lovely with drinks and snacks all day. A serene gathering place. Everyone was lovely and genuinely kind. It’s like a little oasis in Time Square. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. The hotel is spotless and shockingly quiet! If you can, slip a few bucks to the breakfast staff, they don’t have a tip jar but they greatly appreciated the gesture.

Very neatly decorated small hotel with lots of charm. Rick’s was a great touch. Friendly staff. Great stay, would recommend! Beware of the parking garage next door I did park there and use the discounted hotel parking and I was 15 min late picking up the car and they charged me for a whole extra day. Other than that it was a great stay.

Staff is EXCELLENT and all so sincere. The room was very dated and didn't feel particularly clean. Location was great though.

Perfect for a Broadway trip. Very close proximity to all theaters and Times Square! Hotel was phenomenal. Staff was all very kind. Complimentary breakfast and snacks/coffee/drinks ALL DAY was the icing on the cake. Will 100% stay here again if coming back!

As wonderful and quaint as this boutique style hotel is, it was the staff that made the experience. Every staff member that we encountered was helpful, pleasant and engaging. This will be hotel of choice anytime I travel to NYC.

It is not as big as the photos would suggest and is quite old but it is very clean. The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely stay there again next time we visit New York.

Located right by Times Square and all the theatres we were attending. Food in the area is a bit expensive but hotel provided both breakfast and snacks 24/7 in case you didn’t want to eat as many restaurant meals. We walked to Central Park and took the subway to World TradeCemter.

Great hotel in the heart of manhattan. Our room was very quiet considering Times Square was on our door step. Rick’s cafe a great addition. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

For the price you pay, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bath towels were extremely rough, breakfast options were limited. I expected this to be a home run and it was a single maybe double at best. Also, the parking was supposed to be 30$ a night and they up-charged for SUV. I’m not sure if that was in hotels fine print but I was surprised. I would try somewhere else next time.

Casablanca is a great property, super convenient location with very affordable parking garage located right next door! It's a gem!! Staff are all so welcoming, helpful, the property is clean, and the 2nd floor has a great cafe was free pastries and drinks available all day! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

As first time travelers to New York, my family and I were pretty nervous and unsure about where to stay. This was the best decision ever and Casablanca was one of the best parts of our trip! The staff was amazing, the room was so comfy, everything was just perfect! Thank you!

Hotel is older however it is SUPER clean. The LOCATION is PERFECTION!!! It literally took me 75 strides to be where the New Years Eve ball drops. Casablanca is directly next door to Tony Di Napoli's and right across the street from the broadway show "& Juliet". It is 2 short blocks from the subway station. Very walkable to Central Park. Will definitely stay again

This is my third stay and it was wonderful as usual. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel room was nice and it was quiet. I felt safe and the free breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to plays, movies, restaurants, etc. I will return in the future.

The BEST place to stay in the theater district! A small hotel with wonderful amenities -- particularly the second floor lounge where a continental breakfast is provided by a very friendly staff and snacks and coffee/water are available 24/7 in a cozy living room setting. Everything you want from a Manhattan Times Square property. Room was quaint. Every staff member attentive and friendly. Twenty steps from Broadway. Rick's breakfast lounge fantastic. Excellent adult property. Great bar and restaurant on either side of hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights, loved it! The location is perfect, right by the heart of Time Square and the Broadway, but the rooms are tugged in, surprisingly quiet. The impeccably dressed staff are courteous and friendly. The room is not big, but ample space for the two of us. The entire hotel is quaint, comfortable, and all the old New York quality and charm is well preserved and carefully maintained.

I will preface this by saying that as a former New Yorker, I *hate* staying around Times Square - usually. The Casablanca was a respite! Don't be fooled by the first-glace shabbiness of the lobby. The hotel is squeaky-clean, the service is what you'd expect from a hotel 5x the price, the breakfast is lovely - I was genuinely impressed. As you'd expect, the rooms are small, but no more than other NY hotels. Truly an excellent stay.

I was recommended this hotel by a friend who had stayed there. Rooms are not large or luxurious but they are comfortable and clean. The staff was so accommodating and I really liked they had a nice continental breakfast each morning where you could get to know fellow travelers. Another plus was Tony’s Italian restaurant right next-door – a great place to end the day at the bar with friendly bartenders.

The Casablanca hotel is a gem in New York. It’s a small boutique style with a welcoming personal and friendly service. The rooms are quiet and fairly spacious. Location is excellent, close to the subway and various eateries. Continental breakfast was a welcome addition with the options for porridge, boiled eggs, bagels, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. Bottled water and hot drinks are also 24/7. It was our third time to stay here and is our go to hotel in NYC.

The location of this beautiful gem is perfect. Close to all the highlights of NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got great recommendations on dining in the area. The room as good sized for New York. The continental breakfast was tasty. The companion restaurant, Tony’s, which was next door was a highlight of many great experiences. We have found our NYC home.

We loved Rick's Cafe, and spent time there while our room was being cleaned or to warm up in front of the fire. The pastries were excellent. The front desk staff was very friendly any time we passed by, and very helpful with directions and suggestions.

We went here for a family weekend trip and had an excellent stay. The staff were all extremely friendly in a genuine way-from front desk to the dining room staff and maintenance staff. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed and plenty of space. We would return for a future trip.

This hotel is certainly a jewel located in Times Square and the Theater District. The staff does everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Their morning continental breakfast was very well done served in the most enjoyable room. All in all a great find that we will visit again.

We have stayed in the Casablanca three years in a row and have never been disappointed. The second floor lounge is a wonderful place to gather before heading out to theatres and Times Square. Its location could not be any more ideal as our home base for our annual NYC vacation. We’re looking forward to returning next year.

A very small boutique hotel that you could easily not notice. Their lounge is great for a quiet snack or for reading or playing a game. Staff are beyond helpful. Across from Sondheim theatre and surrounded by 4 great restaurants. A 1/2 block from Times Square.

I have never met a more friendly staff than here. If I ever visit again this is where I’ll stay. The beds were super comfy.

The Casablanca is very convenient to Times Square and midtown Manhattan. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly and our room was a decent size for a boutique hotel in NYC. It was also surprisingly quiet, although we were not on the street side of the hotel. The rooms are a little dated and our floor creaked a bit, but my wife and I would certainly stay here again. Gregory was a particularly pleasant person to interact with.
