    The bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient to many major attractions. The room was clean and the climate control in the room was good. The Japanese toilet was nice. The room service was good, even though the food was expensive. The staff was stingy with drinking water. The room was smaller than expected and had no view. I was overcharged for breakfast once and they did not correct it (chose to ignore it). Overall, the room/stay was not a value for money.

    However, the hotel needs to address a few things. We Booked into the Grand Classic Room (King), however, the room needs serious attention. The rooms need a serious deep cleaning. The carpets in the room were filthy. my slippers were black at the end of my stay. The shower had what looked like black mildew and looked a little worse for wear. The bedding was poor quality and not what you would expect for a 5 star hotel. The phone in my room never worked throughout my stay even after calling down to fix it. My curtains also kept falling throughout my stay Moreover, the hotel is extremely expensive for what you get. I would not expect this level of cleanliness and condition of facility for what you're paying for.

    Walking distance to Rockefeller plaza and many shops/restaurants. Very nice spacious rooms and friendly staff. Very romantic and boutique feeling. Showers were amazing. Would stay again.

    The staff dropped my birthday cake and I’m still upset about this like I still can’t even believed it not only that I got stuck in the elevators with the doors half closed I had to record it because my experience was just bad .

    Far and above, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed. The attention to detail and the quality of materials used from linen to amenities made the difference. It’s definitely an expensive hotel but you get what you for! Will definitely revisit on our next trip to NYC.

    I personally like Baccarat for a variety of reasons which is why this was the second time we’ve stayed there. The location is perfect, walkability, luxe, and food is great. The doorman and bellman are honestly a joy to encounter. The rest of the staff could take some pointers from them in terms of friendliness. There were some hiccups in service from the staff that seemed a bit off but in totality, I was happy with our stay.

    Our stay at Hotel Baccarat was such a treat! It has beautiful rooms, a fabulous restaurant, and friendly and helpful doormen and staff. Everything the hotel offers is chic and refined, with exquisite attention to detail. My daughters and I loved our stay.

    I absolutely adore this hotel, I stay here every time in NYC. They got a 3 star instead of 5 star because the lady checking me out was incredibly rude and barely spoke two words to me. If she cared to ask me how my stay was, I would have shared that two amenities I enjoy when staying here before were missing this time. The house car that drops you off within a few miles of the hotel, and the free mini bar snacks/chips/cookies were both present a few years ago but not now Sept 2021. When I asked about the house car, they said "unfortunately due to COVID we don't offer this". If I can take a taxi in covid, or an Uber XL in COVID, why can't you offer a house car service with a masked guest of the hotel? Other than the rude service on checkout - pros are incredibly location, stunning room, stunning property, comfy bed, noise proof (so quiet at night), beautiful toiletries and spa. Food (in room dining) was exceptional.

    Room was not beautiful as in the pictures.It was small.Beds are very small,even with a kid you can not sleep comfortable.Wi-fi was very bad.Breakfast is served in the room and it was very expensive.Location is perfect.Walking distance to everywhere.
