I really like the location. It feels very safe. And transportation is very accessible, as are restaurants and shops....all within a few blocks. The staff was tremendously friendly and very eager to assist. Additionally, the food and drinks were great!

Location Free Breakfast was a Joke. Had to ask for a refrigerator and they admitted the ones in the room didn’t work. Over priced for what we got. The marble flooring in the bathroom is a major hazard. No grab bars in the shower, very dangerous.

Every things were good expect we had very bad experience with A/C because of A/C was making very loud noise and we had to pack and changed the room. This new room A/C was not working and since we were very tired, we decided not to change room and because of hot weather we could not sleep good at all. Since compressor gone they put fan and that night was little bit cooler and we slept better than first night. Since this problem they reimburse us. We were out of room whole day and use the room just for sleep in the night.

I travelled alone with my 10yr old boy to ride the subways. His dream. The staff at 33 were amazing. We were looked after so well. Great location. Great trip. We will be back.

During my stay, active construction was taking place at the property, which created ongoing disruption and negatively impacted the overall experience. Due to the construction views, noise, and cleanliness concerns, I was required to move rooms three separate times in an attempt to obtain acceptable accommodations. In addition, the property advertised what appeared to be a rooftop bar/lounge area in its promotional photos. However, upon arrival, I discovered this was not an actual rooftop bar open to hotel guests, but instead a private balcony attached to a room and inaccessible to the public. This amenity presentation was misleading and materially influenced my booking decision. The condition of the property, repeated room changes, cleanliness issues, ongoing construction, and misleading representation of amenities resulted in accommodations that did not reasonably match what was advertised and purchased. I have attached photographs documenting the condition of the hotel, construction activity, and discrepancies between the listing images and the actual property. I am requesting reimbursement/refund consideration under the accommodation misrepresentation and trip inconvenience

Contrary to several previous experiences at very expensive NYC hotels that are disappointing in many ways, 33 Hotel was an absolute - and surprising - delight. Check-in was swift, the staff go out of their way to help with everything from luggage and loads of bags to helpful guidance about the best of the local restaurants. The room was unbelievably quiet and decently sized, the beds were perfectly comfortable, and the two-sinked well appointed bathroom was a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and are glad we did!

Location was fantastic and the staff were great Breakfast is a huge let down and a reason not to stay. The advertised continental breakfast is actually Overnight Oats fruit and 3 small muffins. If you want to change the croissants, or anything else you have to pay full price of the menu with no flexibility. I couldn't even have juice instead of a coffee, so that would cost 7 dollars, avoid This is not 5* quality

A main reason I selected this hotel was based on the listing cover photo showing the rooftop deck. When we checked in we were told that was only accessible to the guests who were staying in a special suite. Felt this was misleading advertising. That aside, the hotel was clean, room was large and staff were attentive.

Would definitely recommend to a couple/single person as the room isn’t the largest.

Location and a few handful staff members only. Some staff are rude and unprofessional - the lady with curly hair at the reception - who is paid not to be on her phone all day; the guy with long hair at breakfast who needs to understand and the communicate clearly how breakfast works. Bed and pillows are absolutely uncomfortable. For the price- I expect new and firm ones. For weeks they continued to claim the 150usd was on hold despite showing otherwise. They tooky money and never return them. I had to involve Booking.com to get my money back. Go elsewhere - it's not worth it

*Location is good if you don't mind a few blocks walk to a subway station. But South Street Seaport is quaint. *We had a spacious room with a soaking tub (but paid a lot extra for it and could not enjoy it during daytime hours). *Friendly staff members who felt bad for us *Construction noise all day everyday. Major chiseling of brick work directly on room walls. Inescapable! *Priced too high. This is not a high-end hotel, but the owners seem to think it is. *A/C and Heat worked well but was so loud we could not stand it. Will not stay here again for that reason alone. *Closet door was broken and made it unusable. *No dressers to unpack into. A couple drawers in closet that didn't open. *No seal on shower door so bathroom flooded every time we used it. *Sink was clogged *Bed not that comfortable (too stiff) *Continental breakfast was supposed to include coffee, 2 muffins, 2 overnight oats and fruit. Each day they were out of either decaf coffee or muffins. *Service at breakfast was friendly but very slow. *Window curtains were off their hooks. Shows poor Quality Control at hotel. *Was told by one staff member that they charge exorbitant rates for balcony rooms on 4th of July even though they don't face the fireworks. BEWARE!

The outstanding features of the hotel are the staff and location. The hotel itself was good plus. There are minor things, such as the lounge furniture suffering from white glove neglect and the window seals (at least in our room) allowing cold air in and resulting in an annoying draft.
- 5/5
Super clean hotel, spacious comfortable room and beautiful marble bathroom. (The hot water in the shower ran out a bit too quickly for 2 people to use it.) Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little pricey. Overall I recommend staying here when in the Seaport neighborhood.
- 3.5/5
The hot water situation! It takes so long for the shower to get hot. For some of the sink taps on some days the water would never get warm. The hotel blamed the works and old building but, especially when you've paid a lot for your stay, this was incredibly disappointing.
- 2/5
Construction is too loud and I cant sleep . I will check out now around 12 noon. after I pack. We were expecting a 5 star hotel for our special trip. Perhaps, we can get a hotel credit for all the inconveniences? Dirty towel, dirty robes and noise. Staff was compassionate
- 2/5
Great Location, cleaning service each day was wonderfully- thank you! No lobby just a tiny hallway with the check in desk, poor service at their restaurant. No lounge area. Rooms are poorly equipped. View of Brooklyn Bridge was completely covered by scaffolding on our room window. 9 am lots of drilling outside. It would be nice if they could have tell us before. Carpet had unpleasant smell (very tried carpet).

Good sized clean rooms. Small property. Nice location. Quiet.

The only plus side are the staff. They’re friendly and attentive. Front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping were awesome. Again, their staff is wonderful but unless you are sure, be careful with booking as there is a NO REFUND policy.

This hotel is in a nice location if you are looking for a quieter part of New York. It was very clean and in a good condition. I was disappointed, however, that the hotel made no reference to my husband’s birthday even though I added that detail as a special request on my booking. We were also annoyed that the hotel did not message us beforehand to say that there were renovations going on. The workmen were working right outside our bedroom window so we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time. We didn’t bother saying anything to Reception as we were out most of the day but if we had to stay in our room, this would have been extremely annoying and they should have sent us an email beforehand to warn us. I would have expected this from a 5* hotel. Apart from that, the beds were very comfy and the doormen and some of the receptionists were nice and welcoming.

Everything was really nice. Only minus is the walk from the subway at night didn't feel safe. Not the hotel's fault but a consideration for solo travellers.

Modern building with nice bathrooms but very small Facilities, Area of south street Seaport is empty and deserted I had never seen so many empty stores and buildings unused, there is mass exodus of businesses, hardly any place to eat and everything was closing or not serving past 10 pm on Friday night, unseen for last 30 years.

Very quiet pocket in NYC. Amazing view of Brooklyn bridge just across the street to your left. Feels very neighborhood without the crowds. Nice room. Great staff. Mellow, vs hectic Times Square or hip Williamsburg. Grown up. Will return.

We stayed in the financial district for one evening and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Brooklyn Bridge and walking distance to things in the area. This was a great hotel! Very quiet and the staff were extremely accommodating. We were there on March 17 and the staff that was there were extremely helpful. We had a very nice room and a nice view of the bridge!I would highly recommend this hotel if you were in the area.

Home away from home! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I look forward to coming back. The location is amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful and very clean. I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant. I did hear mixed reviews about the food that I’m not trying for myself. It’s a centrally located area and very easy to get to the subway station and or get an Uber or Lyft.

I stay here once a year and I love it every time. Clean, great service, and great location :-)

Overall, the hotel was very comfortable. The room was very clean, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, which I truly appreciated. That said, I do feel the hotel could improve the aesthetic of the guest rooms and hallways. A bit of updating or refinement would elevate the overall feel of the property. Breakfast was included in my stay, but unlike many hotels that offer a broad menu selection, here the options were limited to just three items. Because of that, I chose not to have breakfast at the hotel during my stay. I asked for a late checkout and was given one additional hour, which I appreciated. Overall, a very good and comfortable stay — especially for its excellent Financial District location.

Location was good The ceiling in the room had significant water damage in multiple areas that appeared to be molding. The plaster had started to crumble and flake off in some spots and fall onto the floor and into the bed. One sink was clogged and unusable. The coffee maker leaked out of the bottom of the machine instead of putting liquid through the pod and into the cup.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I’d ask about construction before booking. My first bed had a large dip in the mattress so I had to change. The rates due at the hotel are confusing, charges are not consistent per each day. Don’t stay in a room close to the elevator, you can hear everything happening in the hallway.

My experience with the 33 Hotel was phenomenal! From the moment I stepped into the lobby my traveling companion and i were treated like royalty! My front desk agent J.R was so polite, handsome, helpful, professional, and generous! We had a slight hiccup with our credit card and he was so helpful and understanding. He allowed us to go to the private lounge area until we got our funds sorted out. Such a sweet gesture that really made our night after 7 hours of travel. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was very luxurious! Overall the room was kind of underwhelming for the amount of money we paid but the fact that it was very clean made up for it. If you stay at this hotel make sure you ask for J.R he is amazing, helpful, and very knowledgeable! He will make sure you receive royal treatment for the duration of your stay!

The room was clean and beautifully designed. There was only one thing that stops it from being an excellent. The resort stay included 40 some dollars toward dinner or breakfast, but when I went to the hotel restaurant at 7 PM to have dinner, the chef was on a break for 20 minutes. That’s kind of weird and I’ve never seen that in a New York hotel.

The bellman (I think named Chris) was amazing and so nice/helpful. That being said, the room was definitely not what I’d except for how expensive this was. The bed was one of the worst and most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I have a video of a bug in the sheets as well but I was so exhausted I didn’t feel like switching rooms and it flew away. The first morning all the lights came on by themselves at 7am and again at 10:15am so I was woken up. I did tell the front desk that. It was also so noisy. Not only with delivery trucks and outside noises but housekeeping every single morning was banging into walls and super loud too. They also show an outdoor space on their website and fail to mention the picture is a suite’s personal outdoor space. It’s completely false advertising. Overall it was over a thousand dollars for a place I wouldn’t stay at again.

I requested an upgrade or at least some form of compensation, but was told there was nothing available. When I mentioned to the front desk manager that the rooms didn’t match the online photos, I was met with a dismissive attitude and told, “Well, this is what you signed up for.” The new room we received had a gloomy, basement-like feeling the only small window was positioned so high up that all we could see were air conditioning units. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere, and even after reporting it, no one came to fix it. It also took 10–15 minutes to get any hot water. The overall condition of the room was very poor: the walls were dirty and scratched, the furniture was worn, and we even found long black hairs on the bedsheets. The fridge wasn’t turned on, and when we asked about it, we were told it was “only for storage.” Another misleading detail — there is no public rooftop terrace as shown in the photos. It is only accessible to guests staying in suites. To make matters worse, we were given breakfast vouchers that the restaurant staff refused to accept. Even after confirming with the front desk, we st

Having said that, this hotel offered the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Incredible staff. And the dining was exceptional. Lovely wine hour. It would be my first choice if I ever need to return to NYC.

Our room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and look forward to our next stay. Parking is a short block away and the hotel validates. Nice breakfast menu, avocado toast was delicious and the breakfast sandwich is also a good choice. The balcony view of the Brooklyn Bridge is special. Thank you to the staff that provided us with excellent service.

Not a 5 star property! I have stayed in nicer motels. Windows filthy. Questionable cleanliness and overall very disappointing. Would NEVER recommend this place.

Filthy, filthy room. Not at all as represented. Chipped, crumbling dresser, filthy dresser handles, ripped and stained shower curtain, dirty night stands, ill-fitting door knobs, paint drippings. Staff and manager were nice and helpful. Had to check out early due to condition of room. Hotel manager made aware of problems and worked with us on a resolution and promised improvement.

our check-in was early due to the flight, but the hotel held our luggage until the room was ready. by 2:30 pm we got the text that it was and we headed back to get the key cards to room 605. the staff were excellent and very welcoming, including the bar staff while we had a great breakfast. the room was very comfortable with a furnished terrace looking at the brooklyn bridge and east river, bathroom was very clean with white marble and polished wood and a well appointed room with a desk and coffee maker.

We had a great time and service was great. They claim 5 stars status but I think that's a stretch. 4-4.5 yes, but not 5. No pool and gym is microscopic. Cannot fit more than 1-2 people. But the location is incredible and the restaurant is quite good. Service was awesome. They went above and beyond for my wife's birthday trip. Overall, this place is a gem. Would, and likely will, stay here again.

The helicopter noise over the top of the hotel was very noticeable! At one point in the late night we actually thought a helicopter was going to land in our room. Although it was a good location to grab the Wall Street ferry.

The free breakfast offering was disappointing. Only one drink of coffee or tea included. Not what we would expect of a high end hotel. In summary, don’t go to this hotel if you want a view of Brooklyn Bridge.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the location is perfect! I was surprised at check in that our room was ready but there’s a $75 fee to get into your room early (even if it’s already ready). Not sure if that’s standard in NYC.

The staff and the quality customer care were exceptional.. We had a small issue upon arriving and they fixed it immediately. A friend came to visit and they even opened up some parking for them. Thank you again guys you are the best we can't wait to come back to NYC and see you again soon. 😊

Fantastic location, beautiful property with great customer service. All staff were engaging, friendly and attentive. Given so much around I did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant but it smelled amazing each time I passed by. Would absolutely repeat.

- 5/5
It’s close to seaport transit the ferry’s close to pier 17
- 5/5
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is located near Pier 17 which is convenient and it is situated in an area that is relatively safe. There are so many restaurants and places to explore. It is also only about a 15 minute drive from Grand Central with plenty of ubers or taxis around to go from the hotel to another destination. Highly recommend!

Everything but the restaurant

Nice stay with some loud construction maintenance next to my room. super strong air conditioning. Early checkin request denied. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff
- 4/5
Really enjoyed the location of the hotel and how easy it was to access the concert venue we went for. The staff was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed at times an forgot about our requests for water on more than one occasion.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved our stay here. The Hotel is charming and in a great location to the things we wanted to do. The service was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and modern. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The people who worked there over 4th of July weekend were outstanding. It was a little overpriced for the room, but I’m sure that is because it was 4th of July.
- 5/5
josh at the bar was excellent and very friendly and personable...an asset to the hotel. and chris went above and beyond to make sure our luggage was safe in our room food was very salty with some items (to me), but great breakfasts

Staff was SUPER NICE. Beautiful rooms Classy hotel. Great food
- 5/5
This hotel is such a beautiful hidden gem. We’ve stayed here twice and are obsessed with it each time. The property, rooms, drinks, area and overall vibes are great. Definitely one of our favorite hotels in the city and will continue to book here in the future!

You gave the honeymoon couple a wonderful stay. They loved the kindness and helpfulness of the staff
- 5/5
Walkable distance to the Brooklyn Bridge, statue of liberty, and lots of restaurants
- 5/5
Lovely staff and sweet upgrade
- 5/5
Had a wonderful time! Would stay again!
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel is new but in an older looking building convenient to the Seaport, the Financial District, and Lower Manhattan. Brooklyn is just a walk over the bridge. I only tried the restaurant for breakfast, which was good. My only complaint is that the complimentary breakfast was just pastries, coffee, and OJ. No fruit. If you want that or anything else, you'll have to order separately.
- 4/5
Service was great. Room was great. Event was great and so was the food at the event, however, the food at the hotels restaurant was disappointing and not good at all.
- 5/5
From location to , service as well as the hotel and room design a must see
- 5/5
The staff are incredibly warm and hospitable. I loved them! Would definitely come back here.
- 4/5
Hotel was great. All employees were terrific. The “courtyard” view was of a ventilation system right in front of my window. Otherwise, I loved the hotel. Didn’t open my curtains at all and it was fine. Room 212 shower does not drain and it was super slippery. Not safe for an older person. Restaurant very convenient and food was good. The location is wonderful with lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

Location was great.

Isaiah is my dude! Maynard is a stud. Primary bellhop is one of the most personable guys ever. Staff makes this property shine. Location, obviously, cannot be beat.

Stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and found this hotel to be a wonderful option in a city full of hotels which disappoint. We were greeted by Chris (give him a raise!!) on the sidewalk as we pulled up & he was a wealth of knowledge about the area, parking, & restaurants. He was there to help at every turn! The room (606) was very clean, comfortable, spacious & well appointed. The bed was very comfortable & the requested extra pillows were in place upon arrival vs having to call housekeeping in most hotels. The wraparound patio gave us great views of the Seaport & Brooklyn Bridge. The area was quiet, safe & while street parking was limited, we were able to save a few bucks by waiting for a spot instead of using the iPark garage just a block away. The Urban Cove Society restaurant was cozy, the waiters were friendly & accommodating, the food (burger & korean hot chicken) were very tasty & the drinks fantastic. Overall a short but excellent stay. Two recommendations - hold bars in the elevator & addition of a single step to better access the patio. Thanks!!

Nice enough hotel but a bit expensive for what it offers. Nice staff though

We enjoyed our stay at 33. Thank you to JR, Isaiah, and especially Chris. He was absolutely the most friendly and helpful doorman- concierge. The location of the hotel far surpassed what we expected and as everyone else has noted, it is quiet for Manhattan. There is however, one negative that I must point out and that being in the breakfast room and vouchers that we were given on any given day, there would be no service cold coffee, no coffee, no orange juice and overly microwaved little pieces of pastry. However, we will stay again and head out for breakfast. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in walkable area. Rooms are small and the elevator is slow but staff are friendly. The bar area was closed for an event during our stay so we didn't use our beverage coupon.

Didn’t clean my room. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff.
- 2/5
Refrigerator did not work. Light in closet did. Ot work and team had to bring in a heater as the room was 62 degrees.
- 5/5
We liked the boutique feel, the hotel was kept clean and the staff was helpful. Seems like the carpets need to be replaced as they were getting a bit worn but other than that, we’d stay again!
- 4/5
I usually stay with Marriott or Hilton, but this time I tried something different. I definitely miss the early check-in and late checkout that chain hotels offer. The gentleman at the door was very helpful.
- 5/5
It was a great place.
- 4/5
Not so good: not entirely sure we got the room we booked. Booked deluxe King Peck Slip, our room overlooked Front St. Windows were very very dirty, windowsills needing a wee sand and paint etc None of this stopped us enjoying our stay however
- 4/5
lots to do in the area , however , a lot of construction going on
- 3/5
This is not a 5 star hotel
- 5/5
All great
- 5/5
Absolutely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. First time in NY, and 33 Hotel is in the perfect location for balancing time between Brooklyn & Manhattan.
- 5/5
We had the most wonderful time and the view from our room was amazing!!

Property is nice. The 2nd floor we stayed in near the street was super noisy outside all night for every night we stayed. We could not change rooms as hotel did not have availability.
- 5/5
Very convenient location at seaport. Will come back with family.

The rooms were AMAZING! The customer service was top tier. We had brunch at Urban cove on Sunday & the food was delicious. We will definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks for everything!

- 5/5
Great location and JR went above and beyond to make our stay very special.
- 5/5
It was a great hotel very clean and the staff are very friendly. The best part about the hotel was the location in seaport next to the water. Oh and their resturant in hotel was so good the chef really did their thing I was very happy.
- 5/5
Lovely spot! Will go here again next time!
- 4/5
The upgrade was nice but, you can tell the grounds are old by the windows. The windows in my suite did not fully close, so there was always a giraffe that came in. In addition, the gym facility was also outdated and a bit old as far as the infrastructure of the space. All in all, I had a great stat. The staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. I would just say for this to be a boutique hotel at the price that they charge there are some updates that need to be made to the building.
