Our stay was cool. The room was clean, not quite OCD clean but it didn't feel gross. The room was a great temperature and we enjoyed our stay. For the price point we'd stay there again.

So far the best place to stay considering its location and safety. Room is clean and neat.

Also, the website clearly says “light breakfast.” That means cereal, milk, muffins, maybe cookies or small snacks. It never claimed to have waffles, pancakes, eggs, or bacon. People are comparing a budget hotel to a 4 or 5 star resort, and that’s just unrealistic. If you want luxury amenities, then pay luxury prices. For families traveling on a budget, this place did exactly what it advertised. Me and my kids felt safe the entire stay. I didn’t see sketchy people hanging around outside or inside the building, and everyone we interacted with was friendly. We had a really good experience overall, and I would definitely stay here again.

I was having problem with my boy friend at the time and I wanted some peace and quiet. I was upset and checked in at 11 pm or after. I ask for the staff for privacy if some one call for me don't tell. They said no problem we keep you 100%confidenal. I finally got some good rest thank so so much. And then the microwave in our room, you had to unplug it to open up the door, then re-plug it back in And the bed was very uncomfortable super hard But other than the room being clean, it was really clean. I think you could add something against that bear wall in the king room that we stayed in but other than that, I would say that if I came back to that area, I would stay there again just some recommendations on the little breakfast thing. The coffee was good and maybe get some sweet creamers.

Room even didn’t had complimentary water, nor coffee maker or water boiler, no drinking water in the hotel and nearby 7/11 was closed by the time of my arrival. Saw insect running in the breakfast area, got a photo of that. A place just to pass your night not described as in reviews provided in websites.

They charged an extra $100 to the room fee. I would understand a smaller charge because it was last minute that two people were included. There was only a desk chair in the room. The room door was hard to open once the key worked. There were three desk personnel I encountered - two male and one female. The staff was nice & tried No blow dryers in the room but staff did bring one to use. Coffee maker had no tray to put the coffee in so couldn’t get a decent cup of coffee. The free breakfast area was not functional…don’t know if they are remodeling or shutting it down. Never addressed at check in but free breakfast was advertised. Check in was done at a window outside of the hotel. Kinda scary to pay through a window. Not in a good neighborhood either

Not the best location. Spiders and air conditioner made it hard to sleep. Items not working. Bathroom appeared to not be cleaned thoroughly so we did not shower.

The piping of shower was something wrong with it, every time someone used the toilet or shower it sounded as though water is coming down the shower. It made loud noises. I was there only 6 hours to sleep so not time to complain to reception. I could not sleep properly the few hours I had. Not only that the handle on the toilet was not working properly. Not being able to get restful sleep for few hours is not acceptable

Room service walked in the room without giving the okay for entry. 1st time was when i was SHOWER WHICH IS RUDE AND INVASION OF PRIVACY and 2nd time was towards the end of the stay. Room door lock latch was broken as well. Overall, i didnt fully enjoy my stay. I felt my privacy was invaded.

Okay for the price. Al though, if there’s going to be an extra charge for extra guest.. (even though there’s room for 4) you should let the guest know up front. Not just charge them afterwards.

Additionally, it gets pretty noisy at random times as you'll have dogs barking as people pass by on the street, and people revving their engines up as the speed by. I found that cutting the A/C up at helps drown out some of the noise, but it was still annoying, to say the least. My room was in great condition! I was honestly surprised that it was so spacious. Although, I do have another major negative about my stay here; the towels, pillows and bed sheets had a few small stains on them.

Language barrier. Tried to charge for room because they didn't understand when we told them we already paid. Blood stains on sheets and pillows. No one on site to change them, so we had to change them ourselves.

Outdated. Rude customer service. Charged me extra for unnecessary fees. No iron. Towels old and small.

It is safe. Hungry - 7/11 next door - move North on Sweetwater for better choices. Well managed but a bit on the fort knox side.

Price for this property is to high due the property choose this one due no other available around there area but charge almost the same amount to better hotels need some up dates stuff is ok they do they can

The place is clean however it’s smell like disinfectant through out. After a while it’s irritating smell. I tried to call the front desk to order iron however the hotel phone doesn’t work.

This place is well kept and affordable. I had a peaceful night as the property was quiet and well secured.

The breakfast was a joke..a granola bar.

Smell ugly, homeless people in parking lot, no coffee in the morning just a few snacks bars

Dirty pillow cover. When we asked for it to be changed, the ONLY 1 staff by the lobby or entire hotel said he can't find one so we just asked for towels to cover the pillows. Towels look old for it's not color white anymore. Blanket with hairs on it. No hot water for coffee by the lobby at 7am, no staff to be asked. Hotel coffee & granola bars in the morning between 6am-9am.

The room is clean and well organize. Need better bed sheets. Thank you

The place was not well kept. There were paint stains on the bed, boogers on the wall, and missing appliances. They did clean because there wasn’t any trash, beds were made, and the bathroom was clean. It was good enough to stay the night, but if I had the chance for $30 bucks more, I wished I would’ve stayed at a better hotel. It had a weird smell that sort of went away with the AC. The bed was too firm. And the breakfast “item” is a granola bar from Costco. Had it been $60 for the night, it would’ve been understandable, but for double that, it was not worth it.

For that price, not worth it. Room, sheet, towel were dirty and over use...This is not a place to rest...we really regret booked at this location.

Worse experience ever i book room for my wife she is pregnant she have to leave for the bad smells of the room and all dirty nasty bed with yellow stains at the covers ,,blood stains at blankets

My stay overall was pretty good. My only complaint is I tried calling the front desk several times late that night and NOBODY answered the phone. I called because I was having a difficult time getting online because the handwriting was difficult to read.

Room was clean had sll the amenities we needed.

It is not a new hotel, but it was very clean which makes you overlook the imperfections. But the housekeeping was very annoying, the check out is supposed to be at 11:00 AM, by 10:39 they were knocking, I told them not yet, by 10:49 they were knocking and knocking, they practically thrown me out of the room before 11:00 AM.

Lock on our door is broken and phone in our room wasnt working either.. breakfast was just granola bars and coffee when the guy at the front desk said it was continental breakfast 😩😩

Bed sheets and pillowcases were stained. Overall cleanliness was not the best but was manageable.

The sheet’s mattress and blankets need to be replaced. Slept with our clothes on. Sheets were washed but stained. Blood stains and dingy. Made it uncomfortable to relax

I stay here a couple of times a month only because is close to where i have my meetings on Monday morning, but overall not what I need. The place is ran down sheets are old place looks old and they say that they offer breakfast is a lie!!! Supposedly for over a months they have a visit from corporate so they don't bring things out only coffee. Like y say i i ly stay here because is close to where i need to be. Bad place to bring family

This Super 8 is my go to in Chula Vista! Its location right off the highway is ideal. It is quite secure and clean… I did have one problem with the door handle as it did not open the normal way otherwise, a great economical hotel.

TV remote was not working he came up 2x yelled at me stating," You guys must have damaged it ". I stated it was not working from the beginning went to pick up my husband at airport he provided a new remote which eventually worked . As a female I have trauma with people yelling I suffer from Mental Health issues it put me in a hostile feeling . It's important people working in customer service know how to deal with consumers weather you know or not what past or element they deal with they still need not yell or be confrontational with customers or blaming just assist and make consumers experience pleasant we I drove from Oakland Ca . I would not stay at that paticular place .

Large, nice room. No problems.

My only complaINT IS THAT THERE WERE NO WASH CLOTHS (TOWELS) TO BATHE WITH. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

Place was dirty, sheets had stain and lotion on them, walls had food on them and the bathroom had urine in the wall. It’s been two weeks and haven’t received my deductible yet. Call and no one answers. Pretty bad overall for the price
