Absolutely do not accept a room on the first floor on the side of the freeway you will not get any sleep they assign these rooms to seniors !

This is an upgraded Motel 6 and I had an excellent, relaxing stay. The front desk and housekeeping were outstanding and very accommodating to my request to have a ground floor room near disabled parking which was conveniently located.The front desk people were always extremely polite, kind and courteous. There is a bit of freeway noise but the heavy drapes, double-paned windows with the AC running drowned it out for a great nights sleep even though my ground floor room was nearest the street. Bed was comfortable and getting towels replaced and bed sheets changed on my last night was quickly accommodated by housekeeping after a front desk request. Again, staff at this location was wonderful! Only con is that the in room coffee is pretty bad so I would recommend bringing your own instant coffee. Other than that, I highly recommend!

Close to motorway and getting around. Bed and pillows were hard. Lights outside on all night are too bright. Being woken by the guy next door having a hooker over at 3.30am and having to listen to that. Couldn't get the TV to work. No guide to help.

For a motel is clean / secure. One way in & out. But….. cops on one side of the building. Ho*kers on the other… lol surprise how secure & serious they take there property. I would recommend if just adults.

We stayed a whopping 18 days and had such a good experience, the team here are friendly and are diligent in making you feel welcomed. Our room was spacious and exactly what we needed, there are a lot of restaurants near by. Growing up in National City I know that there is a lot of stigma staying in this area but if you keep to yourself you'll be fine.

The place is not really on a naval base.The naval bases somewhere else, which I didn't see but the front tested.Tell me that their prostitutes down the street and they don't come anywhere near the hotel.I had to leave

The property was nice, the room was clean, but my only complaint is that my room was way too close to the freeway, and because I am a light sleeper, I was up all night. I probably could’ve asked them to accommodate me, but I just let it go so it’s not really their problem but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back.

The property area was not very good and there seemed to be quite a bit scabby people around it. Quite a bit homeless people. The property itself was ok but for the money we paid I don’t think it was up to snuff

Can’t say enough how great an extended stay Studio 6 is. It is kept clean, staff is very friendly, room service is super thorough and the owners and management think of the needs of their patrons and respond quickly. Forget what you remember about the old Motel 6s in the past, Studio 6 has made a full transformation of their brand and business model especially at this location.

The price was good and the location is somehow centric Since is pretty close to the freeway and room windows are very thin is you can hear the noise of the cars, so you will need earplugs

Everything. I like the location and the wellness approach to delivering quality service. I am disabled and was able to rest and relax here which is what I needed. There are fresh towels and amenities. The staff is friendly and professional. N/A

Everything went well. We checked in early for an additional $25 which was nice since we had been driving and were tired. We saw 2 "working" ladies, so not ideal to stay here if you have children. A lot of the people renting rooms are residents which is expected in extended stays. The freeway and side street noise is annoying and woke us up during the night several times. The beds are rock hard. Overall if your not staying and just passing through without children its all good and safe. But for anything longer than 2 days. Spend the money and get a more relaxing spot.

Hotel was great except for the billing. I came in late at night so was charged extra. Also extended at the same time and was charged the much higher rate vice the Experia rate.

They spy on the rooms. They come into your room through access panels in the bathroom. I stayed in room 111. Housekeeping went through our belongings possibly stealing some jewelry not exactly sure until we get back to see what she's missing.

This is spooky! However was there and kept feeling like someone staring at you panels sticking out in the bathroom where it looks like they can be opened housekeeping came in we could see our bags have been gone through they mopped after they mopped we left for a while came back and it was boot prints coming from a access panel

But, if I would have known about the dozen or so sex workers in and around the parking lot and lot next door, I might have picked another spot to stay with my kids. No bad interactions, just more flesh than I wanted to explain to them. It was cheap and close to the event we were attending- I would stay again for the price, just wouldn't recommend for folks with kids.

Front desk staff were amazing and pleasant to deal with My main door didn’t close fully even with the locks applied. The bed was too solid. The bathroom tub had bugs in it and the plug for the bath came off when I pushed down on it. There was no shampoo only soap. There was a rusted bobby pin on the top of the wall by the shower head.the location received a bad rating due to the *pro* walking around the area.

I asked for a tub stopper so I could take a bath and the desk clerk never got back with me one way or the other. The room was clean though with no bed bugs, which I've experienced at other Motel 6 locations.

Terrible experience. My room was not cleaned for two days. On August 31st the front desk lied, saying no staff was available, while other rooms were being cleaned. I had to pay a cleaner directly to get my room done. I want to make it clear that the cleaning lady was not at fault — she actually helped me when reception failed. The real problem was the woman at the front desk: she lied, was unprofessional, and when I told her I would leave a 1-star review, she didn’t care at all. Completely unacceptable. 1 star.

Very tiny bathroom and no closet for clothes. There were 2 hooks and 4 hangers to hang the clothes. My suggestion won't be to put a rod by the area where the ironing board and give more hangers to hang the clothes.

Luckily, I wake up early in the morning because my room was right beside the housekeepers room, so there was a lot of commotion in carts being wheeled around. Other than that, the place is clean, I had a kitchenette with a full fridge.and the water was hot.

Had a great stay at this motel 6. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, but the icing on the cake was the room. The room had everything. Freezer fridge, microwave, toaster, coffe maker, coffe table. Things you may not need but definitely appreciate when you do.

The issue was never resolved, and the water created a constant hazard in the room—my daughter almost slipped and got injured because of it. When I requested a complimentary visit to make up for the inconvenience, the request was denied. I also asked multiple times to speak with the property manager to file a complaint directly, but was never connected or given the opportunity to do so. This level of service is unacceptable. Place was ok just for sleeping. The area is sketchy but for the price I think it’s ok. Mini fridge didn’t work as well. Didn’t keep our food frozen and the bathroom was not as clean but this isn’t a hotel It’s a motel. We brought our own bed sheets and comforter which made it a bit more comfortable to sleep on the end.

If you’re by yourself go for it. If looking for a cheap stay for family this is not it. Ladies working the corner. Dirty neighborhood. Hotel is on one of those back streets right off the freeway. Inside the room I could spot the dirty walls and stained bed sheets. Not where I would want to put my family.

What I liked is that the rooms had tile flooring. Also I didn’t like that the tile flooring was dirty like it wasn’t swept or mopped but otherwise the flooring was nice. The beds were nice and firm. I liked the fridge and microwave. Although they had a kitchen sink, there was no dishwashing liquid or dishes or tissues.

Was a nice stay and close to San Diego and border crossing. Easy check in and out, although we were gone each day, did the trick for some rest.

Spacious and cozy, great for a brief vacation stay. It's just unfortunate that the freeway is right across the street.

The bed was very nice the room overall was dirty the shower head was rusted and very dirty and the room looked like it was built by children.

I understand that the cleaning service is upon request so I only need like three days after staying there for seven days and went to the office three times and still no service other then that every thing was great thank you for the opportunity to stay at a very nice hotel.

The room was surprisingly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff member in the morning was very helpful; the evening staff member was not as friendly, but still ok.

They have a policy card at desk which they don't follow. It says they accept cash, they don't. They don't accept Chime credit cards or debit cards (even though they have the Visa logo). They don't accept CashApp. The clerk trots out a piece of paper that is not visible at the desk with forms of payment they don't accept. These restrictions are also not on the website. Therefore I could not check in; had to find a new hotel. In addition, I had a company carrying my things and I had to pay over $300 more because of the delay.

The service from the workers was great; I wish we knew about the $12 parking fee, though. The room smelt clean with dust around the room, but the bathroom had stains with what looked like mold near the door.

The hotel felt unnecessarily cheap. The bathrooms didn't even have a hook to hang towels or clothes on. Room service didn't service my room for 3 days in a row which they should state clearly in their description. Barely gave two small soaps. Like the title says feels unnecessarily cheap. On top of that charges $12/night for parking. Go figure

Tentative and friendly staff

This property was exactly what we needed for our trip to Comic Con! It is much farther away than we anticipated but the train station wasn't a horrible walk. The only issue we had was a group of homeless on the street near the hotel which made us uncomfortable, but otherwise it was a really great spot for us.

It was very clean, and close to the base. The room was very comfortable and was easy to access shoping, food.

Very good hotel in a quiet area

It was very affordable and the room was pretty good! Parking was a few but we parked right outside our bedroom and things were clean and tidy.

Friendly and courteous

We stayed for a weekend trip and they charged my card 100$ each room for them to hold and I haven't seen it it been well over 24hrs since we have stayed and I don't understand why. The room was some what clean but definitely had to disinfect the the bed, pillows , and sheets.

Our room was not ready when we checked in at 3:05 pm. Housekeeper was working on it and asked us to give her a few minutes, we left and came back at 3:45 pm and still not ready. I went to the front desk and there was 4 people checking in ahead of me and it was gonna take a long time. I finally had to gently push her out the door. Also, the walls and floors are paper thin. Good luck sleeping in someone is staying in the room above yours.

Overall clean and friendly staff, I had a homeless guy knock on my door requesting to use the shower and there’s open prostitution in the area.

Good price and a large room with a table, chairs, regular fridge, microwave, coffee pot and a toaster.

Great location for the price. Room felt clean if a little lived in; dent in the fridge and wear on the restroom fixtures. Toilet flush was a little stiff but manageable. Staff was friendly and checking in and out was simple.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the convention center and reasonable weekend price. It has basic amenities: TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and tiny soap bars. The freeway is close by, but the A/C covers the noise. The shower felt great after a long day. The beds are comfortable. The parking lot is brightly lit. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

Very convenient and cheap if going to visit your sailor!

Front desk kept asking if I was smoking in my room, which I wasn’t, but everyone around that place was either smoking drinking or doing drugs. Not to mention the abundance of prostitutes hanging around that place.

Well my son & I were in town for a 3 day wrestling tournament. I picked this by the naval base because I am a usmc veteran. 1st we get there, talking with clerk, no wonder why its so cheap! for 2 night's instant charged immediately to my card. So now ridiculous amount for a unsatisfactory environment that was extremely unsafe, had to pay a additional more money a day for parking inside lot or park my vehicle on street; that is walked with prostitutes & police patrolling. Wow! Unsafe, not well lite. Then we come back our room was never serviced , with maid service. I walked over to talk with office, the clerk said that we should've told him for maid service. Wait, a customer is staying 2 nights..thats his job to advise us of their policies & procedures. They can have signs for everything else that they want to up sell.Dirty stained sheets, pubic hair in sheets, black moldy shower. Unacceptable, not safe, stay away DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & $$. I will be contacting hotels.com. Oh he also said that Hotels & Expedia.com, they weren't affiliated with them and just email them directly..come on man!

I had no issues.

As truckers we stayed here a lot. It’s been several years though. The only problem I have this time was we pick option to pay when check in. I called early morning, on day of check-in to inform them that we would be checking in late, 8:30pm and would be using a different card to check in. Said no problem and they would note the account. Then around 5 PM they tried to charge the card for 1night. Called and he explained that they needed to charge for the one night, which I’ve never had to do before. But we did it. Once we got there to pay what we thought the remainder balance, cause that’s what he said on the phone, it was not the case. They explained that the $119 for the first night would be refunded to us in 2 to 3 business days, Which would be after our trip was over. I just feel like he was more worried about someone skipping out on the room than to properly explained and looking out for the guest.

Got good rest. Close to freeway. Close to a really good breakfast restaurant! It was relaxing for my family. Would stay again!

Everything is exactly as expected for a Motel 6. We usually stay in Hotels, but with the current economy we had to opt for something more inexpensive. We stayed Fri-Sun, when we pulled in my daughter did say “This is where we’re staying?” with a confused face lol they are used to lavish resorts and hotels. But once inside the room she said “this is actually nice and clean” The pool could have been cleaner but overall everything was great for our 3days. We booked 2 rooms, both rooms had the perfect size refrigerator to accommodate plenty of drinks and snacks for my wrestlers stay. The street it’s on is a little questionable but several police sit on the street daily/nightly so that helped ease the worry of what may go on outside the property. But if you are looking for affordable and cleanliness this Motel 6 has got it! We had a blast for our first D - Day on Broadway Wrestling Tournament!

Good customer service, clean rooms

I had a late flight (1230am arrival) and the Property contacted me to check in and make sure I was still coming and they would be ready for my arrival. The room was clean, looked newly renovated. Kitchen and microwave, and fridge all included. Bed was extra firm which is better than super broke in. Everything was clean. No hassle. Surrounding area was ok, everything within a short drive. Overall I would consider it again. Only annoying thing was a $12 a day parking fee. So yes, parking is available, but it does cost. Should not be a charge for guests.

The matress was extremely uncomfortable and the door didn't seal all the way so the AC didn't work all that well. I was also unaware of the parking fee.

Wanted a hair dryer but not included

Whilst Studio 6 is very basic as a hotel and geared to cheaper stays with no frills. This one was comfortable and clean-ish (superficially clean but needed a deep clean). The staff were friendly, the location ok although there were a lot of "street walkers" walking up and down the street. It was 5 minutes walk from the blue line trolley and had some excellent restaurants nearby.
