Bathrooms were a little dirty but overall I would give it a B+.

Everything was good. It's located perfectly to the beach, amusement park and local stores and restaurants! I love the fact they provide towels and chairs for the beach if you should forget yours. The staff was great and the map of the property they provided was very helpful to navigate the hotel.

The beach is a mess right now. Closed the whole area 1 night. Was told nothing about what the resort covered. I specifically ask what do the fees cover? Was told you get no amenities. Checking out we ask and found that we could have had beach chairs and bikes. Very disappointed that we weren’t made aware of any of this.

For my first time at this property, I cant complain. My 6 year old picked this one. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel had construction going on right outside on the beach (with construction working until 3am) and I was awoken two nights in a row by people (and kids) having conversations in the hallway outside my door at 12:30am and again at 2:00am (two nights in a row). When I notified the front desk about it they did nothing. The room was nice but I would advise travelers against staying in the hotel.

The facility was very nice and our room was fabulous with a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was just what we were hoping for!! The only bad part was there was no on-site restaurant to eat at other than a bar and grill. The the lazy river was a joke!!

My family and I visit this resort every year and they never disappoint. Very clean and accommodating to our needs. I recommend this location to anyone!

There was beach restoration outside the resort while we were staying. Knowing this in advance, we would have not picked this hotel. Your pictures on expedia are not correct for our room we booked. Allie at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Resort very clean.

Reserved a ocean front view room, but they signed us on a second floor with view of little bit of ocean but full view of kiddie pool and partial view of their outdoor bar. While we were checking in, a security guard came to us to move the car from the front entrance. The walls are very thin and we could hear the conversation. They were family with toddler and he kept crying.

The rooms were small but adequate. They had everything that you needed to enjoy your stay. You could cook are there were several places within walking distance that you could go to enjoy a meal, even on the property. The best of all was the view of the ocean. I could open my balcony doors and hear the waves crashing each morning and night. The one thing I could complain about was the air conditioning in the room, it was very loud and didn't get very cold but that was very minor and did not affect our trip at all. Would stay again.

We did get roped into a tour of the time share portion of the hotel and one of the staff members made a comment about my wedding ring, stating we should be able to afford a time share, which was not my favorite thing that happened. Would recommend the staff don’t make comments about guests finances, as they truly don’t know backstories….

This is my third time at this hotel. The upgrades that were made to the grounds (parking garage, gated dog area) were well needed. The staff is friendly and helpful and everything is clean and well maintained. The cost is moderately priced but worth it if you value comfort for your family and yourself.

I really loved how secure the property is. The pools were amazing all heated besides the kiddy pool!!

Nice, clean, helpful welcoming staff, they do not have full breakfast for a fee as advertised. They allow animals on any floor so a dog kept barking even at 6/7/8 AM. Other than that I would stay again and just make sure to request not to be booked by anyone with dogs.

Pros was the location of the hotel. Its right on the beach and easy for accessbility. - Terrible service. - Was traveling with pregnant wife and hotel was not that helpful at all. - We waited for almost 20 mins to get the key issue resolved. Once it was resovled we were told to move to another room because it wasnt working. - Shower stopped working 2 days in and they didnt help us at all. We had to use watercups. -Room cleaning was additinal $40 per day. Made no sense after paying almost $980 for 3 nights. -Hotel is not good at controling smoking on premises. You can smell smoke of all kind of things.

The staff was great! Nice beach! Beautiful view from the balcony. Could have used a chair to sit in in the room. There were some minor amenities missing. I don't recall what they were anymore. I recommend this place to someone who wants to stay on the ocean with a great view at a reasonable cost.

We liked the pools and the game room. When we had a problem the front desk didn’t help at all. Also, there was a lot of noise outside and inside too; the neighbors made too much noise in the middle of the night. Another thing is that the property is a non-smoking property, and yet, there was a strong marijuana smell in the elevators and the hallways.

Did not stay at this property. Checked in and checked out immediately. Room had a musty, cigarette, unclean smell. Patio did not provide any privacy. Did not unpack or even open suitcases. Went back to front desk. Was never offered another room. Resort fee refunded right away. Front desk staff said they understood. Called Expedia for a refund. was on hold on the phone for about an hour. When someone answered, they said we would have to call Westgate n Florida, the main office. It is now Saturday and we were told to call on Monday. We left Westgate and went to an area that we were famliar with. I would not return to this establishment again. It was Bikers week and that put us in a very uncomfortable position. Front desk staff were very pleasant.

I only wish that the breakfast was included, apparently it's only available for people taking a tour and we weren't doing that and we had to buy some snacks from the bistro. But minor problem for us since we also brought food. There is a fridge in the room. Had a great time just bumming it on the beach. That's all we wanted to do and we had a great time

The Jacuzzi. It’s a very friendly child resort. Has a nice pool good access to the beach. Tiki bar was good. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Not enough parking. They put us in the old part of the resort and I paid good money for this room. Restaurants are from hunger. Not enough good restaurants.

The beach is just behind the resort and they allow pets which is a plus. Our pets got a complementary GIFT! Which I enjoyed that a lot because it made my pets feel like they’re on vacation too. Roaches outside

There are a few pool amenities. A pool, lazy river with tubes, and playground in water are options for your family. There are chairs, loungers and a bar. The beach towels are short and thin. Overall, it was a nice stay. I would recommend it for the price, location near the airport and access to the beach.

Great location and staff. I think stating there are restaurants on property is a stretch. The “cafe” is a Starbucks with no table service or freshly prepared breakfast. The Drafts Sports Bar has bar food and not very high quality. Amenities, pool, lazy river, outdoor seating was very nice. Game area was a plus.

The other was that the hallway on the 4th floor didnt smell too great. It truly smelled like carpet just needed cleaning.

$150.00 is not what I consider as pet friendly. This charge was not made available at time of booking and I was told that I couldn’t cancel my reservation. Not very professional.

My partner and I had a great time! The location was beautiful and the amenities were great. We played ping pong and skeeball in the activity center, ate at the restaurant, drank at the poolside bar and swam, walked right out back to the beach, and most of all, enjoyed our ocean front view. The bathroom needed a good scrub before we used it, but beyond that we definitely enjoyed our stay! We would book again.

We had a bad experience with frat boys and the hotel didn’t really do any repercussions. We smelt weed all through the halls and was awakened by fireworks shooting form the hotel at 3 am but the place was super nice and great location. I just wish security was a little bette

Location is great with proximity to the beach. The bathrooms are small with low shower pressure. The barrier on the balcony makes it impossible to look out over the ocean easily and the pot smell throughout the holes from the college kids was overwhelming.

I can't think of anything wrong with my stay. Checking was easy, room was clean and the view amazing. Easy access to the beach.The staff was great, front desk,housekeeping, and every person I encountered working for the hotel. It is dog friendly place, received my dog with a gift bag! No noise and I felt safe all the time. Would recommend and definitely we want to come back.

The bar had cold beer, which was very good. The bar staff was very attentive. We felt the concierge lost interest in us when he could not sell us on a tour of ownership. The location of the resort was great, close to many restaurants. The beach view was fantastic. The room was ok, could use an upgrade. The checkout is early, 10am but the front desk did extend it to 11am when we called at 7:30am.

They don't take cash for anything. You can't buy a beer at the pool or a cheeseburger at the Sports Bar with cash. It ruined my day. UnAmerican and assinine. I hate paying that additional fee for using a charge card. Also no exhaust vent in the bathroom, bring your Glade spray with you.

The staff was very warm and welcoming, and answering any questions throughout my day. The room was clean and organized. The view from my room was oceanfront and beautiful.

Upon first glance online, it appeared to be a nice property, but there were multiple problems with our stay. I brought my 2 children to stay here. My brothers family also stayed here. We checked in around 9pm and there was not a single cart to be given to us to bring our bags up to our room. They did little to rectify this. They attempted to look for carts but never found any and did not help us bring anything to our rooms. It was really sad. The hotel had a terrible smell of weed throughout the property. I dealt with that, but could not deal with the bathroom situation. Our room had a malfunctioning toilet. I called a total of 11 times for repairs during our 8-day stay. It was truly something no traveller should have to deal with on their vacation. The maintenance staff would attempt to repair the toilet, and it would break again within an hour. They refused to move me to a different room. I requested a call back 3 times from the manager to discuss our distress with this room. I never received a call back!! I would expect so much more from a Westgate property. This was unacceptable. They simply do not care. The pool was small and overcrowded. The drinks were nearly $20 at the pool bar and took FOREVER for the bartenders to make. Terrible service - and there were only about 4-5 people around the bar so it wasn’t even busy. The walls are very thin with adjoining rooms, so my children were kept up at night by kids partying till all hours. We will never stay here again.

Beachfront hotel, comfortable room, nice balcony with two chairs and cafe table, in-room fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Multiple pools, friendly staff, very clean area. Gym, ping-pong table. Daily housekeeping needs to be requested. Hotel charges a resort fee. Caulk in tub needs to be re-done. Tub spigot was loose.

The room was clean. The view of the Amusement Park was not desirable. There was a lot of noise coming from there and the road. When I asked for an ocean view I was told they had none. The little market wasn't open after 12 noon during the week which wasn't convenient. Otherwise if you can get an ocean view I think you would be happy. I think the other rooms have timeshares there. It was nice to have the beach right there. We didn't use the pool due to the number of kids in the pool. Most likely we would book again.

Enjoyed staying at Westgate Resorts! Friendly staff, room was very very clean. They even accommodating our late check out! Great views of the ocean. We stayed in 1000 tower, room Deluxe Villa one bedroom with full kitchen. 100000% would stay there again.

I was checked-in by the most nicest and polite women ive ever met in customer service. She has an inviting smile that made me feel right at home. I wish i knew her name. I believe it began with an L.

Just wasn’t clean- mainly poorly maintained, I wouldn’t necessarily blame the cleaning people. It smells musty, the whole night we were stuffy and congested, amenities were decent. Really small rooms, don’t expect to be moving around much. All in all, I would stay somewhere else.

This property had free parking, clean heated pools, view and access to the beach, with beach chairs available for use. Someone was always cleaning and the hotel was kept clean. All staff were very helpful and easy to approach. Everyone was very nice from the moment we walked in. I would definitely stay again.

The room had a leak, we had to leave our room at 11:30pm and wake up our 3 young children. No manager has been available to discuss reimbursement with. Very disappointed in the guest services and lack of response.

Misrepresentation in advertising. Most of the listed amenities (pool bar, on site restaurant, etc.) were open. Are boarded shut. Room was listed "with views" which would lead anyone to believe they were views of the ocean or pool area; not the parking lot and dumpsters. The hotel allowed animals, which is fine; however, a dog on the 6th floor literally barked all day and well into the late evening which resulted in other patrons yelling at the empty hotel room for the dog to "shut the h*** up" throughout the evening. The check in person spoke so low she was barely audible and rolled her eyes when I sought clarity. The whole visit was a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

The room was really run down. The sliding door was almost impossible to open. The glass was cloudy making the view outside unpleasant. The coffee maker was broken and the cord not long enough. We had to sit on the floor. Also there was no way to stir it

The staff have been great and very friendly, the overall expectations are great with the cleanliness and prompt response of the maintenance fixing something that was no fault of their own - our sinks had some sludge in them when we first got in (this is normal being close to the beach and looked like something came up, but went back down) so I notified them in case it was a serious issue and they promptly sent someone up to check. Jessie was great and informative of the issue - people unfortunately rinse off their sand in the kitchen sinks that eventually backs up their pipes - which is really not their fault, he happily cleaned the sink and sanitized it too..then reassured if it happens again, he will fix it. On another note, Dani is great at the restaurant/bar with her smiles and quick service - go for the tiramisu martini if you are feeling froggy!

This hotel needs to update their pictures because my family and I felt very mislead and it’s also around a rough area. I guess that’s what we get for the price we paid. The night staff is rude. The walls are paper thin and everything feels dirty. I guess I should have read google reviews before I booked this hotel.

Room wasn’t cleaned. Receptionist acted as if they had an attitude! Late check out was a hassle to request. The parking is ridiculous!

The pet fee was more than the cost of the entire room.

The positives: the staff were nice, and check-in was easy. We loved the balcony facing the beach and water. Things to improve: They charge a $150 pet cleaning fee, but do not provide any dog waste stations. They also do not mention that you can use the grass picnic area across from the parking lot for dog relief. That was a little strange. If you are going to charge such a high amount for pets, then have some space/directions for them. Otherwise, people will just let their pet poop in the sand on the beach and leave it. Also room had some dust and baby roaches.

The room was clean and well representedl by the property photos. There were restaurant options on site and a convenient Friendly's restaurant across the street. A general store is only a block away for anything you may have forgotten to pack. It has mulitple pool options as well. It less right in the ocean so I was easily able to catch a sunrise on the beach.

Everyone was nice and professional but the hotel was dirty and we had to change rooms because we had a problem with bugs. Then had to sleep with the lights on. All in all a poor experience.

Everything was excellent! Only complaint is the shower water pressure in the room and not so heated outdoor pools. View was great, area was great and we were there during off season so was very peaceful and quiet.

Clean room, easy access to the beach

I was on the second floor across from the ice machine and the housekeeping staff office/breakroom. It was so noisy and disruptive.

The room has the perfect view of the ocean and beach. Staff was very attentive to our needs and concerns. Room was very clean and well maintained as well as the resort.

Everything was was absolutely awesome! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!!

The hotel accommodations were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located near the airport and most tourist attractions.

Nice beach view. The hotel staff was friendly with the exception of the morning clerk at our checkout. We felt like we were bothering here. She never spoke except to ask us if we needed a receipt.

Room had an ocean view with balcony resort was very clean overall. Restaurant food and drinks were good. It was a bit far from the main pier/boardwalk but still a walkable distance and nice area. There was a restaurant and amusement park with some shops right across the street.

You should not charge for resort fees when they are drilling on the back by the pool and saw dust was in the pool and not relaxing our last day at all.. the guy at the desk took the wrong number was suppose to call when the room was ready and his actions delayed our first day

My mother and I just stayed at the Westgate for our mother/daughter trip and we had a great time. The staff was friendly, it was very clean, the beach was gorgeous and Corey at the pool bar was absolutely incredible to us. Super sweet, very kind, and he kept those delicious drinks flowing. Definitely would recommend.

The room had a rust light , dirty frig top, wall in tub was peeling paint and to top it of when I pulled back the bedding there where dead bugs everywhere!😤I call the front desk who moved us to the 2 nd floor from the 6 and the room was clean but the veiw was not as nice and the staff did not even seem to care or be affected by the fact that the room had bugs all over the bed. I had to reach out to the front desk in the am and let them know how it was and she too did not seem to care . I was like we were so taken we had a hard time staying let alone sleeping there. She just looked at me an was like well can I upgrade your room. I was like we are not moving rooms again! She then gave us the first night free. I feel like they did not handle things well . I should not have had to come to them and this should not have even been a thing. I even shared photos with the front desk and she looked an me like so ..very disappointed in that part of our stay.

Room was okay. Pictures on Expedia and Westgate's site did not really match our room. Bathroom door was broken, sliding door to patio was really hard to open and shut. It felt like there were not a lot of plugs in the room. Only one nightstand for a king bed. Staff was nice. We called about the broken door and were able to get it fixed same day. Also asked for more pillows and they came and brought those in a reasonable period. For the price we paid, we were a little underwhelmed, but overall it was a good stay.

Beautiful and fun resort in Myrtle Beach. The lazy river and pools were lots of fun, but the beach access takes the cake! Beach chairs for checkout was a cherry on top! There are a few dining options on the property, with TONS of restaurants and shops close by. The staff was extremely friendly, and being able to text with them for questions or requests was very convenient. The hotel itself, and the surrounding area are very safe.

The staff needs better training and needs to be able to share same information across the board. The property is old, hallways are smelly, room was old , bathroom door at the bottom had water damage it was warped, rusted hardware, dirty bed covers, and shames, tub rusted. If you are not stating there to take advantage of timeshare presentation or have a timeshare you can forget a nice room stay.

The only thing wrong with this hotel, they did not offer breakfast. There was a pizza place that is advertised all over the facility but we never found it.

it was awful and horrible. The sheets was dirty.It had a lot of mold and mildew. The doors fell off the tub was super dirty. My sink and the tub will stopped up. I was supposed to be celebrating a birthday party for my sister. We were not pleased at all. I feel I spent too much money on this trip to not enjoy. Horrible

Every thing was nice

The drafts restaurant was midlevel at best. The pizza was great. The hotel is very noisy; I lost a lot of sleep (in the middle of the night) due to inconsiderate guests and staff.

Huge sand fiddler bit child in pool, got stuck in her hair. She is now traumatized and does not want to go in pool at all!! At least 3 inches long. Sheets in the pull-out bed were dirty. TVs could not get channels unless you had an app, and the guest services were closed until 08:00 am so no one to help. Paid almost 500.00 for one night of hell!!!!!

Didn't like that we are now having to challenge being falsely charged for some mystery rental $67.77, don't rent anything.

Ocean front rooms especially people like me rent, so that we can sit in the balcony and enjoy the view and hear the shores, but your room AC outlet is right there, so instead of breeze we get the heat from the AC machine and instead of shores soothing sound we hear the mechanical sound from the AC machine. Quite disappointed. Tried to order from the elevator door advertisement, that was another disaster. I couldn’t reach them at all. Pool is great, Beach access and Ammusement park access is good, excellent staff. In short. Great staff, great location, but very low grade amenities.

for $370 per night, this was an ok deal. given we were going high season, assuming it will be cheaper in the autumn. staff were smiling, hard working and very responsive. bathroom fittings and water pressure were the only poor things.

This property had great service and super clean rooms. Very loud at night due to thin walls throughout the resort.

As a hotel this was fine; clean room, beach access, and excellent staff. I wouldn't call it a resort, however. Coffee maker in the room but no water. A water carafe was down in the lobby one out of the 3 days we were there, no shuttle service to or from the airport, and I didn't see any resort type activities being offered or presented to us while we were there. Again, as a beach front hotel it's perfectly fine but it doesn't offer a resort experience. The front desk staff was really great! Couldn't ask for nicer people.

was not told the property was a time share. Our room was old and had mold on the ceilings. Especially the bathroom. Security was afraid to enforce the rules. Kids diving, tire tubes from lazy river in pool and footballs hitting people and no parental supervision, without security it was very uncomfortable. But hey let's not serve the 67 Yō white guy beer because he left his wallet in NY. security not afraid of him........
