Room was a bit dated but water pressure in shower was excellent and room was clean during stay. Room was more of a typical motel room but served the purpose

This was one of the most pleasant stays I've had recently. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. But the view was the winner.

There’s so much to do! Our room this year wasn’t as put together as well as it usually is, and the WiFi kept cutting off. The fire alarm also went off twice. Other than that, our stay was great!

Location is prime, it is the reason I come back every time. Ocean view, plenty of pools and good music. But for some reason the hotel owners do not wish to spend money on the hotel to keep it in good shape. It is a little sad to see this. The hotel looks very dated. My room had several issues: the table missed one leg, the sink was clogged, the closet door does not close, the bed pillows smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke, and while the hotel has a no smoking policy, people openly smoke pot and cigarettes on their balconies. One other thing; the showers are for miniature people only. For an adult, almost 6 ft, you have to go through your knees to get your hair washed.

I didn’t want to walk barefoot in our room.

Very close to the beach and pools are large and uncrowded. The only downside was the door lock. Door has to be slammed to close and lock. That seemed to be the norm on all the rooms so there was considerable background noise of slamming doors. Otherwise, the resort is a very good value.

I stay in the south tower in room 607. This particular room was very outdated and really could use a deep cleaning for the amount that we paid for the condo. I felt as if though it was a low budget motel the sheets were smelly, smell like sweat the bathroom was not cleaned. It was dirt in the corners. It was just very dirty, but the pool in the beach was really nice to walk out and go straight to the six different pools or the beach but being inside the room was disgusting.

Our first room was honestly just gross. All you could smell was mildew. I called prior to arrive to make sure we did not get placed in a room that smelt like mildew. After arriving at 10 pm the front desk host was more worried about what was going on then helping us. The next day I had to wait for the manager to come in before they would move us to another room . When I called the front desk to let them know about the room “ his response was oh you called prior to let us know you didn’t want a room that smells like mildew”? At the end room was changed and then they charged me an additional fee because I changed rooms . At no fault of my own. When we checked out they said it was a glitch and I just noticed that they charged my card. Save yourself from the headache there are plenty of other places around that actually want your business .

yes, my room overlooked the beach and the pools. I loved the hotel except that the restaurant was open just until 2 p.m. also, for the breakfast they didn't have a lot of options and you had to pay $20 for the buffet there wasn't any other alternatives to the breakfast price.

Didn’t like waking into the bedroom as soon as we entered the unit and there was a hallway outside bedroom which created noise. Tv was terrible, couldn’t even find local channels. Bathroom was so small toilet right at door and could barely close door. Only one person could get in bathroom at a time. No laundry area in unit to wash clothes ; had to take dirty clothes back home.First resort ever where there not a washer and dryer in unit.Furnace was so loud sounded Like an airplane coming in room .Unit too small and cramped. Closet so small looked like a box.We stayed in the North Tower, first time and the last time .We normally stay in club Wyndham Villas and we thought this reservation for the Villas . If we had known it was for one of the towers would have not made reservation. Owner of unit didn’t furnish anything not even a roll of paper towels. Most owners furnish paper towels and dish detergent . Very cheap owners . We normally have an oceanfront view of ocean from bedroom and living room but this one just had view from living room. Kitchen table was very small and only two people could sit at table and the chairs were as hard as rocks. Worse stay ever at the beach and we go every year . You let us down Expedia . We have used u before but this experience was terrible . Didn’t enjoy this vacation at all and had been looking forward to it for months.TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

The resort was fantastic, parking was very easy, the people at the bar were great, and rather than give you a bad score, the girl in the little coffee shop, she must’ve been having a very bad day, but we won’t ever judge the score on the entire place cause of one employee that wasn’t having a good day

We were only there for 3 days. The resorted is dated. There were cockroaches that appeared at night and definitely don't leave any food or drink out on the counter at anytime of day. The gym equipment was dangerous and falling apart. Pool was nice and a few hot tubs to use. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was nice and quiet.

We felt extremely deceived by the room pictures posted online and felt they were NOT an accurate reflection of the room we stayed in. It was dated, dirty, worn, and extremely disappointing. We tried to switch rooms but there was no availability.

Had a nice stay even though it was rainy or cloudy every day! ! Staff nice and room was clean, in a very good location. Also loved the rocking chair/glider on balcony

Cons: They required a $250 hold on a card at check-in, which was expected, but did not accept tap-to-pay. This caused me to use my debit card freezing my money I intended to use for spending.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. It is dirty and disgusted.

Bathroom needed a good cleaning. No paper towels, no dish clothes in unit.

We had to call for towels,(they arrived 1:26 minutes later with just towels, no wash clothes). The room had not been cleaned properly, they didn't provide dishwashing detergent, paper towels, bakeware, and some utensil were missing (other resorts provide a started basket). The furniture was old and dated. Couch was worn out. the balcony railing's paint was chipping. The pool area was clean and the view was amazing. For the price I paid, I guess you get what you paid for.

The room we stayed in håd previous guests flip flop under dinning table, had previous guests beach towel underneath 2nd bedroom, had big clump of hair in master bedroom bath. I felt that room wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been. Staff was very friendly but had a lot of timeshare presentators in main lobby.

I have stayed at Sea Watch many times and each time it is a great stay. Easy check in, quiet area, great location in beach and to stores. One of my favorite places in Myrtle Beach.

We ended up not staying there because of many issues with room after waiting for hour and half after arriving we saw room and it was not what was reflected online.

Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Pools were great.

The suite I stayed in had mold everywhere. I had to call because the shower curtain was very dirty and smelled of mildew and sour. The people who came in to replace things were friendly. The suite definitely had water damage, which is where the mold came from. Other then that other areas were very clean and i would return I will just check my suite first.

First room we received was horrible, stains on couch, bed and curtains. We had a standard two bdrm on north tower. The king bed also had 2 big lumps on opposite sides of bed like someone had been sleeping there forever. Outdated furniture. Also stains on ceiling. When we went to address the issues the clerk Kevin immediately resolved the isuues without hesitation. He simple have us another room that was like night and day in the south tower. This one was cleaner and brighter. I hate that you don't know exactly what you are getting until you get there. I think they are overpriced, i paid over 2grand for 5 nights and recently I've been getting airbnbs, but i wanted to be on the beach. I've spent less going to Florida. I wouldn't go back unless the rooms were extremely cheaper. The upper scale hotels like hilton etc were around the same or cheaper but booked, I'll make sure to book way ahead of time. Staff was the most pleasant thing and they do keep the pools very clean and the grounds.

The hotel and resort provided everything stated in the listing and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were very kind and professional. The pool and hot tubs were very adequate. The lobby and restaurants were also nice. However if you have more discerning taste, this property may not be for you. I'm sure that there are many great rooms and suites but unfortunately we did not get one of them. I was told that rooms are picked as people arrive; so it's often a hit and miss on what you will receive. I would describe my room as tight in regards to the kitchen, bathroom and seating area. However there was enough space for the bedroom. The sheets were not clean, but the front desk had new sheets delivered promptly. There were a few holes in the bedroom door, rusty areas and loose coverings. Also, one of the stove eyes didn't work and sliding door handle was loose. The aracade needs to be closed until the games are serviced. Overall I felt safe, but I prefer a little more comfort. I would visit again if I was able to pick my room or suite.

Very nice property, great location and AMAZING views! Clean room, clean property all around! Perfect location, not much traffic, yet located close to everything!

The best things about this place were the beautiful ocean views from our 9th floor balcony in the south tower and the central location of this resort, conveniently located between North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach attractions. The unit itself was very, very dumpy and dirty and was in dire need of an upgrade and a deep cleaning. Confederate flag decor was not appreciated by northerners. The TV channels were difficult to figure out, the furniture and cabinetry had seen much better days. The beds were squeaky but ok. Several of the outdoor hot tubs were out of order, as was one of the lazy river pools. The hot tubs that were working were always packed to the gills with an average of 10 to 15 people per hot tub all the time--which seemed like an over capacity problem and did not make them appealing. This was probably because the weather was unseasonably cold when we were there, and the main outdoor pools were not heated. The indoor and outdoor pools closed when there was any hint of lightning. We also had to sidestep around a significant amount of construction to get around the pool deck. Overall, this place needs some TLC, some upgrading, and a deep cleaning. Location and views were really good.

Very clean, well appointed, convenient and quiet, even for spring break week. This is a family oriented resort. I would highly recommend it.

Just the location It was outdated, overpriced, dirty - specifically the towels and bedsheets. I would not return unless it was renovated and that’s still a maybe. Nothing like the pictures and felt I definitely overpaid for what the ratings show and recent reviews. I will not recommend or return.

The carpet was dirty, one of the TVs didn’t work, and the sofa bed was both uncomfortable and broken at the head. Overall, the space didn’t meet expectations in terms of comfort or upkeep.

We love the actual resort, its location is amazing and we love the whole package. We were fooled this time by SUITE, assuming it meant upgrade! No bedroom...the bed is in the wall - in order to open it we had to rearrange the living room furniture! The bed was so uncomfortable, I tried reaching out to booking.com multiple times with no response

Unless you went to get an omlet or a waffle at the waffle station, that was good. The room set up was weird the bathroom is directly in front of the kitchen which seemed odd to me. It was also noisy you could hear everything from the rooms next door. Otherwise it was a good stay.

First at check in your attendant just looked at us until I said here to check in. Get to our room and 78 with hear on. 75 outside. Turn the heat off then turn air on after we unloaded everything went to walk on beach come back hot room and no air. Went down to desk and told him. He repeatedly call maintenance but no answer. I told him we where going to go out to eat be back came back go up still hot not working. Go back downstairs and he calls maintenance again. Maintenance shows up said can’t fix it but could bring you fans. I said I paid and should have to stay in a hot room. They move us we load and go to that room and it had not been cleaned. So go back downstairs and tell him that. So he said put u in 508 and I said really like higher. So he found one and it was nice. Next morning awaken by maid. She said room supposed to be vacant and she was going to touch it up. So leaving for lunch stop and told the desk and he never moved us to the correct unit. To much hassle. He did comp us one morning breakfast. Which wasn’t hitting on much with cold food. But the facility it self was nice and the bar at the pool great and awesome service. Just don’t know if we would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean, location was excellent and away from the traffic and riff raff that’s closer to the Boardwalk. Was located right on the beach and very close to the Apache Pier. Would highly recommend!

This resort was the best! The restaurant was good, the views were amazing, and the parking and getting to the room was super easy. We didn't have our kids with us, but it was definitely very kid friendly.

On the beach so you have all the pools, hot tubs and lazy river, in addition to being able to walk along the beach. Only bummer is any shops or restaurants are not within walking distance. Otherwise very happy. Hotel restaurant was pricey but great food.

The view was great. The parking was easy and efficient. It was easy to get to the ocean and the pool. Having a pool bar was convenient.

I like that it was oceanfront. This suite (605 north tower) was VERY outdated and small and had very old furnishings and appliances, so much so , I chose not to use them for fear they may mess up, and I'd be charged for it. The sleeper sofa was very old, outdated, and misshapen. The dining table had 2 mismatched chairs, one of which wasn't sturdy and it wasn't because it was purchased like that. The bed is the first thing as soon as you walked into the room, so you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the very small kitchenette, bathroom and sitting area. Thank God there was at least a balcony to sit and look out at the beautiful ocean. Loved the beach and the amenities but I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone if this is what the other rooms/suites look like. Just horrible! They say you get what you paid for, but I didn't and was more excited to leave than stay. I've been coming to Myrtle Beach/N. Myrtle for years because the beach is my happy place; it always has been. I treated myself for my birthday but it was more of trick than a treat. Very disappointing! Major upgrades needed! Usually after a day on the,beach and in the pools and hot tubs you look forward to returning to your room. We were trying to find reasons not to! The bed frame adjuster, which is metal, stuck out further than the bed, so if you weren't constantly aware you would bump your leg against it and it was very painful. I have never had a disappointing trip to Myrtle Beach . . . until now! The bathroom, you basically either had to sit on the commode so you could shut the door or you had to come in to one side of the commode so you close the door before you could use it AND it's located in the kitchenette area as small as it already was. Again, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! It was my first AND last stay at The Seawatch Resort!

The property was nice, wide variety of things to do, and various paid opportunities for additional activities. I did not see or engage with many staff. The room needs updating. Clean the nooks and craniies.

Great location- many pools Room itself meeds updating. Light was broken, wallpaper coming off wall. Floors were very dirty(not like we are at the beach, sand dirty, but just dirty.

Always smelled like cat pee on the 16th floor. There was water damage on the floor by the door. Black mold by the ac vent and on the ceilings. The area was good for my family but the rooms and over all hotel was not a hit.

The resort itself was really good. The pools, the lazy River and access to the beach was amazing. The room however was disgusting. I luckily bought Clorox wipes and had to wipe the whole place down. The sink was clogged. The floors were filthy. I would never rent room 1505 and either should you.

Sea Watch is a great place to rest surrounded by amazing pools and the ocean. My family always has a great time in this place.

The grounds were in excellent condition and staff was great. NO maid service at all. No pans in my kitchen. Kitchen light would not come on. The living room had broken molding/ missing. Old secondhand furniture, an awsome bed. Great ocean view, not ocen front that i thought we were splurging on, but a good side view.

We had cockroaches in our room. They did come spray but it didn’t do any good. Also when you’re at the pool there is no bathroom. You have to take the elevator up to the second floor to use the bathroom.

We loved everything except the front door lock. It was a pan to lock and unlock.

I loved the property amenities and that I had access to the beach. The vending machine was perfect for a late night snack and drink. I hate that one machine ran out of water and you couldn’t retrieve your money afterwards. So I had to make another selection. I did not like finding a roach crawling around in my room. That made me uncomfortable the rest of my stay for one night. I was hoping none were going to be carried out in my personal belongings. Staff were friendly and accommodating which I loved.

The condo was very nice

Enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor bar and food area. Did not need to go anywhere in the beach area was absolutely perfect quiet and clean.

I only needed a place to stay honestly. I went because my boy had a soccer tournament. However, we did spend time in the hotel’s pools. They were clean and basically empty- no people at all (i like it better than when i go to crowded pools). They had a jacuzzi and multiple pools (indoor/outdoor). The hotel was clean for the most part for the exception that i saw dog poo on the elevator floor ! The people in the office (One specifically named Mark) was AMAZING! Super helpful! I wish all were as helpful and easygoing like him!

Room was not cleaned very well, door covering water heater was propped against wall. Dishes weren’t clean. Staff at checkin was rude, carrying on private phone call and waited on another customer while trying to check me in.

Great trip overall. Three time going. Only thing to nit-pick I need something to clean the floors with. We had sand everywhere.

Mark at the front desk made our experience delightful! For a quick getaway, it was fine! Nice views, great location, very fair price. Off season it was quiet but I imagine it’s crazy in season as the resort is huge. Great amenities but wouldn’t be restful per se in season. BUT for a quick overnight getaway, the price was right, staff were so kind, it was fine.

one strike against it was not having any food available to guests in the lobby (at least the north tower). If you want to go to a restaurant, prepare to uber or walk one mile. On the plus side, the view was amazing.

The name of the property is so appropriate because the view of the ocean from my balcony is gorgeous, second to none. However don't look down because the pool area is undergoing some major work, but in their defense, this is the time to do it before the summer season begins. I stayed in the building with reception. There is extensive work currently on several floors, so elevators are covered in protective materials. I did not hear any noise but there was a noxious chemical smell permeating my room. Bathroom floor was nasty with hairs and dirt. Oh and the main bed is a murphy bed, I missed that in the description. The bed is worn and dingy and the area behind where the bed folds into is dirty. Pillows were wedged into a tight closet with falling ceiling tile. I covered them with my shirts so I could use them. Everything just felt dirty and that smell, which could also be like dirty mop water was just horrible. I was there for one night and checked out by 8am. The young African American lady at the front desk was lovely, I can't remember her name. I think this place has tons of potential once repairs are made and it's all cleaned up.

I've stayed at this resort many times. All rooms had Washers & Dryers in the rooms except this one. Room was the smallest I've ever stayed in of any hotel, let alone a resort. All other rooms at this resort have been very comfortable. Room floor had small particles on it like sand but softer. It had a great private balcony. Bed sleeps good. Elevators were quick. Parking was good as welll.

Hotel room was clean, ok. My big complaint was the amenities at this facility. You could not use due to maintenance. Out of both facilities, North and South towers you couldn't use either pools or hot tubs. This would have been nice know before allowing customers to book with facilities. I was very disappointed and would have booked with another Hotel if I would have known these amenities would not be available

Room very outdated. Major updates needed. The property is owned by Wyndham and being a Wyndham owner I was very disappointed 😞

It was an amazing stay i ended up loving it so much i stayed until Tuesday Morning the beach was beautiful the room was so warming and comfortable felt like home in a way but overall it was the best trip ever

I was on the 16th floor, so I had a great view of the beach from the balcony and also the passageway to the room.

Beautiful beach! Shower/tub plumbing fixture should be replaced in order to turn the faucet on.

The counter service was slow. Service in the breakfast buffet was very lacking. Been staying at SeaWatch for 30 years. Now will probably consider staying elsewhere.

Booked last minute got ocean front like i wanted but right above the pool. Other than that had a great time would stay thete again. If you have the option get north tower or 5th floor or higher on south tower nice places. 5 to 10 bucks to uber to local bars n restaurants

I enjoyed the view and the kind staff. Fast and efficient elevators. Breakfast experience was no where near what it used to be. Poor food quality.

Hotel exterior looks nice. Interior room was older looking with carpet and small. TVs were small but operable. Not as luxurious as expected.

I didn't like the price for breakfast, and the non daily service for the rooms.

The unit we stayed in was in desperate need of upgrades. The furniture looked liked the 60's and was dirty.

I was supposed to get a Oceanfront room but got his side view instead. The staff was so rude. Not one but all of them. Be laundry room had some of their machines broke down. They had no change machine and the barcodes on the washer and dryers did not even work to pay for your clothes to be washed or dried. I am handicapped in I had to use a wheelchair and it was hard to get through the doors and when you tried to walk down the walkway there was no room to push your wheelchair. I will never stay at this place again. This was my second time staying here and my last. There were other renters that were saying the same thing and we're not happy.

Nice, clean, but dated, room. Beautiful ocean view. Bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. They could spring for some nice toiletries. Had to run to Walmart (short drive) and get some decent hair products and lotion.

Apartments are very small, bedroom is right by the door, could hear every word of people walking by. Overcrowded and not worth the money.

Got stock on the elevators twice and our condo was in major need or renovations. The carpet was ripped, and the coffee table was broken and really worn, only one burner on the stove worked and it was uneven. I know your there for the beach, but you look forward to the hotel room being nice and a place to relax at night and this wasn't it.

Did not like room, no room services, no paper goods(klenex,paper towels.) Only one chair on outside deck. Ice maker broke. Extremely overpriced. will not book there again.

Other than all of the staff excluding the security seeming like they’d rather be anywhere than here, the grounds was super clean, all the amenities were working, and the location was perfect. Would return!!

I liked my stay front desk was friendly staff friendly. Walked out Saturday morning and it was staff everywhere cleaning. Only thing id change would be furniture in room. It didn't match and was like really dated but room was clean, balcony and view amazing!!!

The staff were friendly ; pool areas were useable and fun ! One of the tubs were dirty, wasn’t clean . Ring around the tub. Counter tops were half cleaned. Floors needed sweeping.im thinking it was an older room. One king room other room had double beds . I wouldn’t recommend or I should say I wouldnt book again

The bathrooms were very small. I did not like the clean tower retrieval from the front desk. Also, the front desk was very rude about the pool towels waiver. The front desk claimed I signed the waiver, when he showed me the paperwork...I showed him that I did not sign the waiver for the pool towels. The pool area was very noisy at night. The cleaners were very loud on 2 nights in a room with slamming their doors while cleaning the room next to us.

Not a place to stay if you're looking for relaxation.
