I enjoyed my time

I must say I’m impressed. The staff was very helpful and caring. Checking in/out was very easy. They made sure to have us clean towels when asked for. The pools were clean and easy access. The kitchen was very well equipped. Also the room was clean. WiFi was working. I have understood that they are renovating so I can’t complain.

After driving 12 hours we walked into a dirty lobby with cigarette butts on the floor. After paying $260 for one night with our pup we were given keys to a room that hadn't been cleaned (full trash, drinks spilled on the floor, etc). The issue was quickly resolved with a new room from the manager on duty. Once we got into the new room the front door had to be slammed shut. All the furniture looked like it had been rescued during a dumpster dive. The pictures in the listing did not prepare us for the low quality of the "resort" (genuinely by name only). The ice machine was covered in grime and rust. I would never recommend staying here, but I would give a referral for the manager to find a job of she asked. Very helpful and accommodating.

The room was not what we booked, upon arrival we had to kill a roach in the bathroom. The floors were filthy from looking you couldn’t tell but when I wiped up the water that splashed from the sink the wash rag was black. The ice machines were horrid. Oh yeah and the pictures are misleading along with the fact that the name was Polynesian Oceanfront Beach and Golf resort. Nope when we got there it’s called Polynesian oceanfront hotel. The staff were not the issue, the false advertisement, cleanliness and not getting the room that was pictured was. Please read the real reviews. I have pictures if I’m able to add them. I cried and was so upset when we checked into our room. We are not wealthy but we have made it our mission to make a yearly family vacation possible and this was really important to us. We left before we were supposed to I just couldn’t do it anymore. Last year we stayed at a different place and I should have stuck with that one. They were as advertised, very neat and clean. When we got to our room it was what it was for the price until my daughter was looking for her shoe under the bed and found a meth pipe with stuff in it my brother put it in a bag and we took it to the office and all was said is management would reach out I stopped in several time I tried to find another room as well but management never got back to me.

It was in incredibly dirty. I had to go buy chemicals to clean and a mop and broom . I searched everywhere to bed bugs or roaches but it was so so dirty. Weed smell everywhere was sickening. Dogs barked in ocean front rooms were they are not suppose to be. Ask everyone for 100 cash deposit even though we were paid in full before arrival. Once you clean up it’s manageable but I won’t stay there again Dirty of everything, and weed smell everywhere. I had to put something under side of fridge wheels cause it wobbled so much. It needs a new housekeeping manager and management to want to do better. They had are beached closed down half way they stay and was not informed a head of time that there was construction going on

Since I was only staying one night, I did not complain, but I would not stay here again. The only positives are the beachfront location and the affordable price. Unfortunately, those benefits do not outweigh the cleanliness, maintenance, and security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

My family and I have been staying here for 20 years. It use to be in worse shape than it is now we stay here at least once a month sometimes more I’ve even booked a room two years ago for 20 some days in November I take my own cleaning stuff and my own bed cover my own trash bags even my own pans it’s like home away from home for us. I’ve stayed other places, but we definitely love Polynesian, especially in the winter months.

The front desk staff was kind and helpful upon check-in and check-out. The very first girl I got (very young and very skinny was rude)... but when I came back the other 2 girls (a little older) were MUCH kinder and the guy at check-out was super nice. The people that stayed here were rude, ignorant and disrespectful! Music as loud as it would go until 4:30 am & I had a 10 plus hour drive ahead of me at 6 am. The smell of marijuana was enough to choke out freaking Snoop Dogg!! I got a SMOKE FREE ROOM because smoke makes me sick!!! Well what was the point when the jerks on BOTH sides, above AND below me ALL smoked bud AND cigarettes! I would NEVER stay here again, nor would I recommend this place! I couldn't even sit on the balcony! Oh and they charge EVERYONE that books through booking.com $100 deposit.... saying they don't have access to our credit card information, so if we damage something they need that for a security deposit! The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I book EVERYTHING through booking.com and not once has anyone ever charged me a security deposit! Like I said... NEVER AGAIN! I'd give ZERO stars if I could!! Oh and don't even get me started on the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept/didn't sleep on in my life! In the 5 nights we stayed here, I got a total of almost 10 hours of sleep! Needless to say I slept great once I got home. I'm usually not ready to leave vacation, especially the beach... I couldn't wait to get out of there. Checked out before 7am! In case it's not abundantly clear... I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! IT'S A SH*T HOLE! Our room was NOT cleaned before we got there! I had to go buy a swifter wet jet and cleaning stuff/gloves etc. just to clean because it was THAT disgusting!

Found roaches as soon as we walked into the room. Had the neighbors drunk, yelling and knocking on our door. Also the beach was blocked off and we couldn't enjoy beach access unless we walked quarter to a half mile down. Was also charged a higher amount by Expedia then had to pay extra on top of what I overpaid when I checked out. Definitely will choose elsewhere next trip.

Very old and not maintained. Poor service...had no room service at all. I cannot believe Expedia would even participate in a hotel of this poor quality.

*Security and management were also a huge issue. Someone moved my motorcycle and left it sitting in the middle of the driving lane. Management did absolutely nothing about it. Then the same thing happened with our golf cart, and again, management refused to help. The manager would literally avoid us and run into her office whenever we tried to speak with her. *Parking is a nightmare here. They do not have trailer parking, yet when we arrived at 9 PM, the only option they gave us was a list of storage units that were already closed for the night. Even though the hotel has a grassy overflow parking area, they still would not allow us to park the trailer overnight until the storage units opened the next morning. The parking garage itself is extremely tight with steep ramps, and even our golf cart roof scraped the ceiling going down. *To make things worse, there was major beach construction happening directly behind the hotel that they never disclosed before booking. You couldn’t even walk straight onto the beach from the property. On top of that, the construction continued ALL night Friday and Saturday night, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

Hair dryer is not available in each room. You have to deposit exact $10 cash to borrow hair dryer from front desk. They won't take credit card, $100 bill or $20 bill. That's just minor thing but funny.

Do not stay in the rooms on the bottom floor, we were next to the staff laundry area, the staff was very noisy from 7am to midnight, we had to call front desk for towels several times to get some brought to us

Distance to the beach The sheets were dirty hadn't been changed. Room smelled like weed, carpet was so dirty when walking on it barefoot it turned your feet black.

Location and price We didnt get our room until after 5pm and then we observed 2 of the 5 housekeepers playing on their phones while people were still waiting on clean rooms so they could check in. The smell of marijuana was soo strong on our floor and the rooms were marked as non smoking. I realize it's not the hotels fault for that but it's been that way every time we've stayed here.

DO NOT STAY HERE, save your money!! Where do i start? I had to pay an additional $100 for a “security deposit” obtaining to a plus one under 25yo, was not told until CHECKIN TIME!! Theres no elevator for the three tier parking garage! The kiddy pool was green, photos are not updated or true of what this place looks like!! This is like an oceanfront motel! The first room had water all over the floor and ceiling,and what appeared to be black mold on the bathroom mirror. Apparently the room had been ready for me when I called 2 hours earlier before check in. The elevator floor was coming up, that was scary. The balcony on each side wall had cracks near the floor leading to the room, looked like it had been patched up multiple times. Towels STAINED! Just DISGUSTING! Do not stay here!

2 police cars at property front upon arrival to check in (930pm on a Thursday) and overheard the property security guard saying it was the second report that night “Garage” parking *barely accommodated a standard Toyota 4Runner Exits not secure, carpet in halls filthy, door to rented unit jammed and had to be forcefully opened, room was NOT clean, balcony door was non-functional (opened ~4 inches only and was a huge struggle to close again) Cancelled the remaining 6 nights and immediately booked a different location- had to stay the one night due to later arrival with a small child

Unit was spacious but the beds were small... really not for 2 large adults... it worked for all we needed which was a place to put our heads The pool area was dirty and the elevator was very slippery

How close it was to the beach It was unclean, we never saw house keeping. We originally had ocean front rooms booked, when getting there our group was all in different spots in the non ocean fronts. Then we had to pay an additional 100 dollars a room to upgrade to ocean front. The floors were nasty. The bathtubs looked unclean, the railing on the balconies were loose. The doors were hard to lock. Some of the doors were rotted underneath and could see outside. The windows, frames were out, so when the wind blew it came through and sounded like the whole window was coming out. When we did get upgraded to ocean front the doors to the balconies would not close without a fight. There is hardly any parking. The whole place was an overall disaster.

Bottom line is if you are a clean person PLEASE DO NOT book this hotel. This may or may not be dramatic but I seriously felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack when I understood and seen the severity of the neglect at this hotel. I'm sorry I don't have any photos to post but I really couldn't think about anything else but getting out and away.

They rooms are ok but some of the front desk ppl are not helpful. There are always issues with every one of the hot tubs every time we have stayed there. This hotel could be a great place if the upkeep of the property was better.

Affordable, friendly staff, clean rooms and great location my second time staying here and I really like it. That the hotel only has a 2 story garage level and the garage height was scary driving a wrangle up and down the second level. People were fighting when I arrived. And you could barely use the hot tub because it was over crowded with kids.

Checked in on a Thursday night, at 2am there were still people in the pool yelling and screaming. Cops arrived and more shouting. Rooms are very dated and in need of repair. The elevator felt extremely sketchy. Thursday night a handicap family were stuck on it for 20 minutes. The rest of our stay it worked very slowly . My daughter offered to trade rooms with the handicap family and the hotel staff would not allow it! Beds were very uncomfortable. Check the sheets!!!! My daughter’s room had disgusting dirty sheets with body fluids on them. Sand fleas in the kiddie pool. Children got covered in them. Male front desk clerk acted very shady. Found palmetto bugs in the room because all the doors have open cracks for them to get in the room. The kitchen sink and the tub drained extremely slow. We did go travel around the area and found much nicer accommodations available if we decide to return in the future.

Everything was dirty all the hallways smelled like piss. People were constantly screaming or slamming stuff. The pools were filled with dead bugs and hair nothing was clean. There was burn holes all through the room. Parking was awful. There was never enough room for all the cars that stayed and there parking garage was steep hills and you had to go up and down the same way and couldn’t see if someone was coming up or down and it was not wide enough for two cars. Barely wide enough for one. And if u have any kind of larger car do not go up to the second or third floor of the garage you WILL hit the top and damage your car.

NOT A RESORT BUT ADVISED AS ONE! Absolute NIGHTMARE & the most disturbing hotel experiences. After being assured that the room was clean and free of pests, my one-year-old son woke up covered in bug bites on his face, ear, and foot, my other child had bites all over his arms and legs, and I discovered a live tick embedded in my left side that had to be removed in the office in front of staff. Even after hotel staff personally witnessed the tick attached to me and saw the bites covering my children, management refused to meet with me, showed no urgency or compassion for our health and safety, denied a refund, and left me with no choice but to spend additional money on another hotel to protect my family from further exposure. The property also had an unsafe atmosphere, with numerous suspicious individuals loitering around the grounds and walkways at all hours.

It was good to be right on the beach.i enjoyed n loved that part. But the only thing I can say about the hotel in general. That's the parking deck is very unsafe and the doors to the hotel are very hard to get in.

The pools were clean Needed to be cleaned and outside of property could use a cleaning also the hallways to elevators were flooded my room could have been cleaner because my grand daughter was walking on the floor and her feet were nasty so we had to keep socks and shoes on her because the floor didn’t look swept or mopped a big water spot in the bathroom

As soon as I got there they wanted $100 deposit and I could only get it in cash ( at 1 in the morning ) , when I told her I wasn’t sure if I could, they cancelled my stay I’d already paid for and told booking I never showed up

I loved that it had a small kitchen & loved the oceanfront view. all of the people that worked there were amazing. Yolanda that works the night shift was nothing less than amazing and super helpful my first room had bedbugs & roaches and it was over all just not clean. the second room they gave was clear of bugs but the floors were not clean and the ceiling was chipping.

The towels and wash clothes weren’t as clean. They had dirt spots on them. The room smelled clean. We saw two small black bugs on the sheets but the bathroom was clean. The fridge was clean and it was a decent stay. The area we stayed in was t that great but for the price of the stay we were grateful. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was the worst past 6pm.

Run down and minimum maintenance. You are getting what you pay for: flickering light in the kitchen, low water pressure in the shower, rusty lamps with broken shades, stains on the furniture, graffiti in the elevator, guy vaping pot in the lobby at check-in. Staff ignored us when we first entered, then after standing there awkwardly for 10-minutes asked if we were there to check-in. They can’t say your room number aloud for safety reasons. Our reservation was for 5-nights but we only stayed one.

Room was okay, bed was comfortable but sink stopped up first night, shower head stop working after first night. Curtain broke after trying to open them, dishes was dirty, outlet ports were extremely lose to hold chargers, toilet was dirty. Parking was very difficult and overflow parking was a far walk down the street. But, the staff was very nice and helpful.

The view and room were excellent. It was right off the elevator and there was a lot of parking for it being right on the beach. The biggest problem was the shower would go from cold to hot instantly. Im not sure why I did not tell the front desk, but the entire stay my 2 kids and I could not use the shower. Besides it taking a minute to get my deposit back the next morning, it was overall a great stay and will absolutely be back. Thank you for a great experience!

Very close to the beach My room flooded, the ceiling in the bathroom was soaked. The balcony deadbolt was broken and wouldn’t unlock. If you are an adult under the age of 25 it is $100 per person staying with you as a deposit. Must pay the deposit in cash. So make sure you have cash cause if not you’ll have to use the A.T.M to pull money. A.C was only in the front bedroom, so it’ll be hot as heck in the back bedroom. The place literally looks like it’s falling apart. They need to update the rooms, they’re cheaply put together. The trim on the floor as either just sitting there or hanging by a thread. Told maintenance about the room flooding all they gave us was extra towels to lay on the floor.

The property demanded a $10 deposit for the use of an iron. Really!!???!!!! Also there was a $100 deposit for the stay. (both refundable) The drapery was very shabby and the balcony furniture was very used and unappealing. The parking deck was horrendous (too steep with one way in and out) not mention that it became full with no parking on the second and third levels after dark. We made the best of it and really enjoyed the oceanfront view, the pool and other venues within the strip. It was close to everything that we enjoy like restaurants, shopping, etc.

We obviously knew we were booking a 2 star hotel so we knew what to expect. For a 2 star literally on the beach it was a good experience. Staff were super friendly, checking in and out were a breeze. We had an issue with our AC when we first got settled in and the maintenance man came and fixed it in no time. My only gripe is parking, I noticed a lot of people who were just going to the beach using the guest parking and nothing really being done about it. Sucked sometimes cause as a guest it was hard to find a parking spot. Other than that great experience.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for. The room smelled musty. There was not a bath tub. The mattress on beds were very low quality. The other guests were loud. At the pool with kids and the other guests were playing very distasteful music extremely loud. For so many reasons I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff was very nice and welcoming but everything else was disappointing

The room was okay, not the worst place I have ever stayed. Parking was a little rough but manageable they do have a parking garage but it was bike week so everyone had extra vehicles. Our room never got cleaned during our stay and we had 2 dogs with us, the floors at the end of the week were furry. We had to ask for extra towels and bed sheets to change the beds ourselves. It is right on the beach so that's a plus. I didn't us the pool but it looked nice.

honestly it was good! didn’t smell bad wasn’t loud at night and had 2 pools. i really liked it for the price. only issue was the staff gave us a hard time when we asked about sheets and i had to ask 4 times for new sheets…. which were then dropped off in the room not even on the beds. other then that i liked it though!

The lights didn’t work shower curtain fail. It was disgusting and it wasn’t even a two bedroom. Then they still never refunded me my money back.

That was literally the only good part about this stay at this hotel We had to pay $150 to another resort to park our vehicle even though it fits free parking for two cars motorcycles mopeds or trailers. The refrigerator leaked all over the floor The tiles on the floor were missing and broken. There was saying all under the beds like it had not been cleaned the balcony was dirty the shower was dirty still. The doorknob to our room was broken so it took a minute to get into the door every time we left because we had to lock it and the key barely worked. Overall this was one of the worst hotels stays here I've had.

Dirty room, floors not swept or cleaned, broken door knob. Cob Webs in window sill, curtains and room smelled smokey and I asked for a non-smoking unit. Tub had rust spots and peeling in the bottom. Only 1 tv inspite of having multiple bedrooms. Pet toy was left on floor in the room. Room door very squeaky sounding like a horror file. Rooms are falsely advertised. Looks nothing like picture. ALL of this was told to the front desk. I would very much like my money back and I do not recommend this hotel. Then they charged an unexpected fee of 150 dollars and the rooms were very outdated and dirty.

No kitchen That I booked ocean front they gave me a room that was occupied and I had to get a room facing the road. Yea they added an extra bed but that was not what I requested.

The pictures are completely outdated. Common areas are dirty cigarette butts on the floor, rooms had dirty carpet, old furniture and smells bad police was just leaving as we arrived. Loud music was playing. We did not stay because it was so filthy checked out immediately before even taking our bags to the room

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. Room was run down, quite hours not enforced, I had to fix both doors upon entering. So yeah it's cheap, but you are getting what you pay for.

Staff (front desk) was nice and helpful. Pool wasn’t very clean. Room didn’t have hardly any outlets so I suggest bring a power bank for all your mobile devices. Housekeeping was non existent. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay you can’t beat the price but luxury isn’t in the ball park with this hotel.

This property needs some serious repairs. The shower in our room did not work and there was mold on the outside of the bathtub. When I contacted the front desk I was told they would send someone within 1/2 hr and no one showed. The other rooms our group had were in similar condition. I would not recommend anyone stay here!

Here are the pros and cons: Cons: Cleanliness, privacy, accessibility - The sheets were clearly not changed/washed (ie. potential rodent droppings under the sheet, dirt/stain on sheets, someone’s hair on the sheet) -The patio area had old food on the chairs and was very dirty and old - The floors had old food (i hope) all over. Came right off on my shoe, so definitely something that was cleanable. -Pool area is very small and is right at the entrance, so no privacy from passerby’s -It is motel style, so you’ll have to take stairs outside to get to your room (not a big deal, but just fyi) -Can hear everything happening in rooms around you Pros: Staff, Location -The staff was nice, and helped me get a refund and cancellation within an hour of arriving, even though it is a bit of a hassle when booking/cancelling through Expedia - Close to airport, so Ubers to and from were very affordable - Easy beach access - Nearby lots of activities/restaurants/etc

Checking in was HORRIBLE! First staff member said we didnt have a reservation, second one came out and said come back and try in a few hours or something so we left excusing the attitude for a possible busy day and stress from work. Came back AND STILL NO HELP! Had to wait for a manager to come out of the back and pull it up just so i could get my room (which was apparently visible the ENTIRE time) Going to the room it had hair from whoever was in there before cleaning (inside used tissues on the sink), dust was EVERYWHERE and even more loose hair on the top of our mini fridge! Beds were neatly made, and lights had to be plugged in to see the room. Pools were clean and code worked so kids had fun at least there.

My experience sucked bad so i walked 5 miles to the hotel sick just got out the hospital and i reserved my room for 50 or so and ibpaid 4.50 for payment prediction which was a damn joke on both ends expedite and the hotel the lady at the desk was a African lady and she was the ruddest person i have ever meet as a prof1p

To be honest it was not pleasant. It was nothing like the picture/the room I booked first off. It was so small. The draw on the whatever you want to call it was open & kept coming open. It said partial view of the beach. That was also a lie there was no view of the beach there was a window that we had to close the curtain to because we could see into other people rooms & I am sure they could see into ours their was a stain on the covers on the bed by the wall and the box spring cover on the bed close to the door & I mean close to the door had dirt stains. There were water stains in the ceiling of the bathroom. The green carpet floor going to the rooms were nasty/dirty, & the floor in the room was semi slippery. The parking garage was small & the ramps to the next levels were steep & go straight up, only fits one car at a time going up & coming down. It was a traffic jam trying to get in, out, &/or park. The staff that I interacted with was nice.

Took over an hour standing in line to check in. Two people checking in for two hotels. Rooms are very dirty. Stained carpeting, bathroom moldy and extremely out of date. This is a motel, not a “resort” and not sure why golf is part of the description. Couldn’t find one positive thing to comment.

A wonderful stay really enjoyed the people here got to meet new people. The staff was very nice and it was very clean. Good beach access wonderful indoor pool, hot tub and outside pool and parking was good.

If you want a clean room with balcony staring at ocean this is the place. Reasonable price for area. Walk out to ocean access. Balcony staring at waves and people watching. Leave open and listen to waves all night. Cable TV we never watch and indoor, outdoor pool and hot tub

This motel was bearable. Out dated that a lot of the stuff didn't work. TV wasn't programmed and not many sockets to plug things in. We only had one single one to charge our phones. It was loud with young adults screaming. The rooms they put us in was literally in the basement. Window view was the furnance room. It smelled like old grease. Water pressure was bad. Would not recommend but I guess you get what you pay for $200 for 3 nights.

Well we couldn’t check in at 4pm it was almost 6pm before we could check in. While there house keeping didn’t clean up our room, didn’t bring clean bath rags or towels as requested for both of my rooms. The rooms needs to be upgraded the covers were so thin like a flat sheet. Mattresses are so old and needs to be switched out in room 326 at the main building and the bath tub needs to be replaced as well

There was multiple items left if the room by previous guests and one item was a fork with bacon on it in a drawer that we were supposed to be able to put clothes in. The bathroom is so outdated and old that the tub appeared dirty but it was just that old. Parking is a nightmare and they “offer” a parking garage that is literally three levels and it’s one way in and one way out. There are multiple disabled vehicles that have been there for a while taking up spots. The room I booked was resort view… out one window we looked at a cement wall and the other was a view of the parking garage. Not what I expected. Complaining to the front desk is and was pointless because it was always full of people complaining and those who voiced concerns were just blew off and nothing was done. The only positive part of this hotel was that the staff was friendly and pleasant and we could walk to the beach

Would go back. It’s not a boujee hotel, but it’s clean & safe. Front desk was very friendly & apologetic since our room wasn’t ready until 2 hours after check-in. However, you could smell that it was just cleaned when we walked in the room. We spend most of our time outside of hotel when we visit so we’re never really concerned with much else other than clean & safe.

Aside from the room the only complaint I really would’ve had would be the smell of other guests smoking pot on the balconies at all different times of the day. I probably experienced more pot on a 3 night stay, than party with a theme of pot (being people who are not against it and partakes on occasion, it was just too much for us). Didn’t really help that the sliding door to the balcony was also a fight so if we opened it, it was kept open for a duration. We didn’t experience any trouble with finding parking, but since I have not seen anyone state anything about the parking garage the ramps up/down were narrow and steep. The clearance for those ramps is only 6 feet. One last thing if you are not over 25, you will need $100 cash for the security deposit. They won’t tell you until check in. The on site ATM charges a $9 fee to withdraw. I’ll be honest I was expecting to pay one with how much I travel, it just would’ve been nice to know before hand that they want it in cash and how much before I ever booked.

Kitchen had everything needed to make a great meal, our room was oceanfront (higher floor) so it was the perfect view of the ocean and just down the elevator you’re right on the beach. Convenient location and good experience

I wish I could remember the woman's name who checked us in I know it started with an S , she was very polite and welcoming. From reading the reviews I was nervous at first but I’m glad I booked anyway. The kitchen was convenient, the location was spot on. I was placed in a room right in eye view of my vehicle the room was clean and I honestly enjoyed my stay. Will be staying again!

This property is very old and it looks like slums, and that's why you get the people that come their. The room was decent the view was great. All you smell is weed. The people have no consideration for others staying there. No one came to clean the room the whole week, we had to ask someone to sweep our room. We had to catch someone in the hallway to keep getting clean towels.One day they threw linens on our bed, i guess they expected us to put the new linen on the bed isn't that there job to I'm on vacation. Will never stay here again. You get what you pay for!

Microwave was not functional- we called to report 3 times, asked in person at the front office and called the booking number and finally got a response 2 days later. The bathroom sink would not drain. The property was very dirty and there was a lot of odor from drug use. The actual rooms do not look at all like the pictures- the kitchen is minimally stocked and did not even have a baking sheet.

Room with dog good but hard to get to, only 1 elevator to 5th floor; clean room, bedding, shower & room layout excellent but rear bedroom no a/c so bring a fan; staff very friendly but overcharged ($80 booking deposit & $60 due at check in,,, @resort fee $30+$30 for dog/2 nights) but charged $120=$60 hidden fee so will not be back bc there are nicer dog hotels for $100/night but Thank You Love Myrtle Beach 🏖️😊🐕

Yes the kitchen was fully equipped and I could cook in there easily. The kitchen was spacious and so were the bedrooms as well as the living room. The wifi was good the people were very respectful and friendly. I will go back there again sometime.

Staff was great and friendly but property itself is way outdated. Booking this property online is very deceitful. It states its a resort hotel, and even the pictures matched. As soon as we arrive, it is NOT a resort or even a hotel, it is a MOTEL. The rooms were so nasty for my family and I, but everywhere else had no vacancies due to events so we were stuck. Walking into the room, you would think its been abandoned. Good thing we were full of plans and barely in the room, because the room was disgusting. The carpet was so dirty it was sticky, dog poop smeared on the wall, the bathtub looked like someone was ripping the vinyl, the sink leaked all over the place. They dont have outlets convenient to you, but was made sure there is one next to the sink that leaks everywhere. With how much we paid for our stay, which didn't match what it was advertising for, the property itself should have kept up with itself. Vending machines broken, but it was nice to walk straight to the beach

When I booked the room, I requested a suite that allowed pets and smoking. When I arrive to check in I was charged for my service animal although the policy states that service animals are free. The attendant was rude and short with me. The room that I booked was not the room that I received. The bathtub was peeling The patio area was dingy, the room was very dated, though it was clean, the bedding was clean as well, but there was no actual blankets on the bed, just a very thin sheet material over the flat sheet. The indoor pool and hot tub has no ventilation system so there’s lots of condensation inside causing mold to grow between the tiles in the hot tub. The pool was cloudy.

The cable TV they have is the worst that we've ever had in our travels. The property has seen better days, but the maid service is good; they were very attentive. We believe our room was next to a room that might be used to house homeless people. There were different people every night & they'd sometimes leave in the afternoon or come late at night. During the first and seventh night of our 2 week stay, the people had their music or TV going all through the night & into the middle of the next day. The final night, I was by myself and heard the people coming in around 11pm and they were up literally the entire night, talking loudly... so I was up all night. I tried to call the front desk to complain around 2am & it was a recording that they were closed, to call in the AM. Also, we had booked a non-smoking room, but there was the horrible smell of smoke at least half the time we were there. The employees (front desk, grounds people and maids) were very nice, but the management of what was going on there and the degradation of the old hotel left much to be desired. This trip was off season in November 2025.

I was really impressed on how much room we had. The only issue we had was that we were on the 5th floor due to it was a smoking room. We did have a view of the beach and I was really surprised to see they had a parking deck which made it really nice. Plus we also had access to the pool next door.

The air condition needs to be repaired in the room. And the elevator needs to be looked at because it wasn't working correctly. Walking from where we was parked to the elevator there was food on the floor like people just dropped what they ate and no one cleaned it up. Other than that I loved it. Wish the pool could have stayed opened a lil longer, for my kids.

The place was nice and pet friendly. The overflow parking for a trailer was 8 blocks away. However, there is false advertisement on Expedia, saying the pet fee is 20, with a 50 deposit, while the 50 is a non-refundable pet cleaning fee.

Easy check in, staff were friendly. Hotel is perfect for a beach location and view, pool was clean and great. Over all worth what we paid just needs to be updated.

For starters, the staff was nice but I wasn't informed of a fee until I went to check in and it wasn't in the description on the app. With card it was $16.67, cash was $116.67. The parking garage is really steep and dangerous. The room was fairly dirty still with smudges on the full length mirror and food splatter on the walls. The ac was so rusted and outdated that the heat didn't work and the room was freezing when we walked in. We opened the patio door in hopes that it would warm the room up but it never did. So we stayed in hoodies and sweat pants. We had acs from floors above dripping water down to our balcony. There was water damage and loose fixtures in the bathroom. This place is definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of place.

It was not fit for anybody if you had some kind of respect for anything. I have already sent pictures to you about this place.

She was one call for security guard to walk me back to my room. He refuse told me to walk back by my self.

The one thing we enjoyed was the view oceanfront excellent, service to clean room not once during our stay. We had to ask for toilet paper to get some not once did they change the towels mildew on doors in bathroom bathtub leaking rust in bathtub mildew under sink on wall patio door so rusted at bottom it would make god awful noise when you went on balcony. And for the handicap parking just anyone would park in it handicap or not. No security and the floor when you come from parking and in elevators are a trip hazard overall I would never advertise this hotell again.no srinkler system in case of fire and ceiling was peeling everywhere. Very dirty.

The “hotel” is more like a place for people to stay that are on the verge of being unhoused. Carpet filthy, room smelled horrible, microwave didn’t work, other people smoking weed, woman with a pitbull staying there, kids outside in their underwear. Pool water was green.

Very old, cheap hotel. Old furniture, chipped table, horrible looking windows. It's biggest plus is that it is on the beach. That's it.

It’s not the best hotel everything is old and out dated and could use a real good scrubbing. You have to ask multiple times to get housekeeping to do there job, but there pretty easy to find there always sitting down in there break room off the parking garage and they will huff and puff and give you a little bit of a attitude but they will give you towels when you track them down. they keep a green bin there in the hallway and I would just bag up are dirty ones and take down and I even took our own trash out.

Walking in to one of our 3 rooms, we were greeted with roaches. The room was badly damaged. Floor was lifting, walls were dirty, there was hair on the beds. We decided to leave as we had small kids and our pets with us and didn’t want to risk them. It’s been 9 DAYS and they refuse to answer HOTELS.COM agents for refund. We were willing to even pay the first day as long as we got refunded the rest back so we could stay at another hotel. STILL haven’t recieved $0. We’ve been going year after year for about 6 years with family and this has been the worst experience. It gives motel on the side of highway under a bridge. Not clean, outdated, paint falling off, floors lifting, tub stained….will never return.

First room they put us in the bed was unmade and we thought someone was already in it plus the bed was broke and leaning 45 degrees. I reserved a beach front room and it wasnt. The staff did change out room for us but it too was dirty..

Horrible run down motel that needs close!

This hotel is bare minimum. It is a decent stay for the cost, however all services, including house keeping are at request only. If you want a room on the ocean with a place to sleep, this is the hotel for you. If you are someone who enjoys the convenience of hotel amenities, this is not the stay for you. Hotel room and facilities need cosmetic upgrades as well as several functionality improvements.

Overall is was a great time, location is great. There’s a line to check in at 4 so I’d wait til 5ish to check in. As long as you plan spending your time on the ocean it’s a great spot. Pools are just so-so. Definitely book ocean view for the better building.

Staff was great, ocean side rooms were very clean, air worked great!

It looked nothing like the pictures. It was dirty/had bugs crawling. We checked out the night we got there bc it was so disgusting and un safe feeling.

It was just a walk to the beach or even a short distance to the pier. Very convenient location

There was black mold all over the fridge and curtains. Could not sleep because people are yelling in hallways. Horrible place to stay.

The motel reaks of weed, witnessed a drug deal take place on the elevator.

This is ia 4 star review in relation to other comparable priced hotels in area. Met all our needs. Was very clean, bed was very comfortable, air conditioner was very cold. It's a place to sleep when your visiting the ocean, what more do you need? We were in the "no view king room" but that was fine because just feet from our door was the walk way straight to the ocean. Yes it's very dated, so what, yes i think my college dorm room was bigger again so what, it was clean and we slept very well.

WE had 3 suites they was terrible for the money than required cash at check in for deposit after paying 1500 on line don't really feel like uploading pictures but can show on email respond roaches floor was sweep trash dirty I wipe down and clean the units 225 terrible got kitchen didn't even want eat in there over price and under delivered smh its easy basic cleaning it look like its the shelter stay should been free

The hotel is very dated...ice machines were rusty and old and ice was definitely not to be consumed. Vending machines were all out of order. There was no place to lay luggage to u load but could not put clothes in dresser due to flors being unlevel and drawers would not stay closed. Although showers had great hot water we had to use hand towels due to no wash clothes.

The staff was very nice & helpful but the door to our room was broken it was hard to get in & out the staff tried to fix it but wasn’t Abel to. They gave us an upgraded room with beachfront but the balcony door to that room was also broken. Hard to get it to open & close. The Hotel is very old & needs a lot of updates. The elevators was broken but they was fixing those daily! The staff was truly amazing but the Hotel it self needs a lot of work & repairs. It also smelled like weed all over the hotel no matter where you went.. It made me sick to my stomach. It’s only $59.00 a night so I guess you get what you pay for!

Overall we had an amazing stay. I read some pretty rough reviews before we left for vacation .. fortunately those was not true. We stayed in 403 oceanfront and there was not any bugs! Place was great for the price

Literally the worst place I have ever stayed!

The outside could use some work, the pool doesn't seem very clean, but the room looked like they have updated recently. I was pleasantly surprised and it was clean no insects.

Place was dirty abs had paint peeling in the bathtub

I will never stay at this resort again, they have made absolutely zero renovations on this place. Bathrooms are disgusting and needs remodeling, there's mold stains in the tub. The mattresses are to hard, there is no fan in the restroom so you have to bring scented spray. Parking area is bad, there was barely anywhere to park, I had to continue to drive around to wait for someone to leave before I could park.

The property was very outdated, had roach pellets around, the bed pieces came apart, the dresser drawers never closed, the room was supposed to be partial ocean view but there was a huge vent in the window, couldn't see anything but the buildings next door. I had to reclean the whole room, worst stay ever!!!!

Loved being on the ocean but the parking was really unorganized and was only given the option to pay first night with deposit or full amount minus taxes and fees so when I arrived I had to pay another cash deposit that I was unprepared for.

We reserved an ocean front room with a balcony. The young lady working the front desk in the lobby was professional and kind. There is an elevator to the upper level rooms. But, there is not an elevator in the parking garage so be aware if you park on an upper floor. The view was the best thing about the room. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor was dirty, visibly dirty with more than just sand from previous guests. There was a hole in the bathroom wall above the shower head. The balcony door was VERY hard to open and close, so we ended up keeping it closed and not going out but the view was why we chose this “resort”. There are a lot of choices for hotels in Myrtle at similar price points. I would choose differently next time.

Please dont let the pictures lie to you!! The rooms are so dirty and rusty! The beds are so uncomfortable, rooms need to be painted! We only stayed one night and left the next morning they did not want to refund us! Horrible experience!

So we got this room at 5:22 and it was a mess. Everything was all messed up and it ruined me and my wife’s vacation and I’m still waiting on my refund. This is ridiculous.

It was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. If I hadn't paid up front we would have left. Hotel very outdated. It's Polynesian resort but the sign said Polynesian hotel no resort but you had to pay a resort fee.

Horribly dirty, stinky and outdated. Atrocious parking. Scammed extra money after I paid on Expedia. Wish I could rate less than 0 stars.

The stay was ok. Very dated motel. However for thy money it was fine. Lack of parking a problem. We were told there was overflow parking about a mile or two away. Property is right on the beach.

First room already had guest, next room everything was rusted and dirty. The balcony door would not close. Advised front desk and they stated they would have it fixed. Came back from grabbing food NOT FIXED (gone for 2hours). Called front desk they and the lady was very rude so I went to the office. She did change my room and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and it was dirty. At this point its 1am and I am beat. I asked for compensation she advised there will be none. I am not bougie and will make the best of any situation but this was definitely not acceptable! DO NOT BOOK its a dirty resort!

Trash not routinely removed from general area. No Housekeeping during our 4 day stay. Room was not ready to check in at 4 PM, needed to wait until 5 PM before we could check in. Balcony door frame was corroded to the point it would not slide open/closed.

Property is needed to capital renovation.

Property was sketchy as all get out. Didn’t like how you had to get to the room. Room was not all that clean.checked in but didn’t even stay and checked out the next morning. The property is dated. The whole building needs to be remodeled and the actually have keys real keys to your room like WTH!!! Keep you money definitely can find something way better.

Staff members were great!! But I just didn’t like the amount of people that smoked in their room. As soon as I entered my room it smells like weed. The balcony door didn’t locked and it was so hard to open and close.

The room and the customer service at the front desk were horrible don't believe me check 509 the room plaster from the ceiling falling on the floors the roof is leaking all over the room the floor stayed moist and wet just a horrible experience and couldn't even use the bathroom the tub was filthy

The property was horrible. The pools were not well-maintained. The bedroom, stank, lots of wear and tear. The balcony door was hard to open. My daughter got stuck out there for a good five or 10 minutes trying to get in. The staff was very bad and all you can smell was weed. They were very rude would not do a refund so we end up having to stay. We didn’t have a choice.

Would never stay here again. Smell nothing but pot and urine. Nothing mentioned online about the $100 cash only deposit they make you pay, guy passed out in a chair right next to check in desk. Oceanfront room and we couldn’t even open the sliding glass door to get on the patio. Stains on bedding, floors nasty. Never again. Glad this was just a one night visit or I would be finding another hotel

The staff was absent minded, and seemed miserable to be working at the business. Un expected cash FEES, people fornicating in the elevator. We did not feel welcomed by any staff member.
