Property isn’t as advertised. Beach was closed and had to walk two miles to access beach even though booked for beach access and breakfast buffet but also was no buffet included it’s a separate location with a separate charge as well. No one cleaned our room for the 6 days we stayed we had to take out our own trash which is fine but not usual for a hotel. Only thing the staff did was deliver towels after we placed all the towels out to the hallway to be taken. It’s a beautiful place and has a great view of beach but they should of told us beach was closed in area before spending over a thousand for a stay, also could of said no breakfast instead of advertising a breakfast buffet as an amenities as well.

My room was not the cleanest. Had to get some Clorox wipes to clean it up.the water in the bathroom was slow coming out. When in the bathroom you can smell something awful coming out of the vents.

Having a room on the beach was wonderful.It was so relaxing and peaceful.The staff was very friendly and welcoming.The pools and outside area was a lot of fun.We had a great time and we would definitely recommend spending time at the Paradise resorts.It is a nice place to stay with the family. you will create memories that will last a lifetime.😊

I liked the bar being by the pool and access to the beach Parking sucks , toilet was clogged, microwave didn’t work, didn’t have a broom and dust pan in the room , my 3 year old almost fell thru the sofa mattress , the beds made A LOT of noise , tvs were extra small , at check in he seen I had 4 children by myself and put us on the 18th floor

The premises was very good, pools in courtyard for adults and children, hot tubs for children and adults, tiki bar , lazy river for family use, Sandals restaurant on site, easy walk from patio to beach. Oh and don’t forget the pool on the roof. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was as clean as any top of the line hotels, yes it is an older building but very well maintained.

I stayed at Paradise Resort for 4 days and had a wonderful experience! The 3-bedroom oceanfront suite was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for my family. The full kitchen was great for preparing meals, and having 2 full bathrooms made getting ready so much easier. The washer and dryer in the suite were also very convenient during our stay. The oceanfront view was breathtaking, and we loved being able to enjoy the beach just steps away. The resort was clean, well-kept, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was right there. I truly enjoyed my 4-day stay and would definitely return for another vacation! 🌴☀️🌊

I liked the location, the price and the amenities!! The floors where I stayed were dirty. They needed to be swept and mopped. The first room I was given, the air didn't work and the kitchen table chairs were dirty. I requested another room verses being offered that. I stay at Paradise effect time I go to Myrtle beach because I really like it but this was the first time I had a complaint.

Property was nice. Only complaint is that it is overrun with huge cats! I do not like cats and if I had known that, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Everything was OK just lack of staff around the property in case something goes wrong. Had a ph room and couldn't sleep because house keeping kept banging the door going in and out of the storage closet, which was very annoying. Other then that everything was cool

Overall it was nice. We were not able to enjoy sitting on the balcony, which had a great view of the beach because our next-door neighbors were potheads and it seemed as though every time we went out, they went out and lit up. Also our hallway and in our room stunk like pot most of our stay for the five days we were there. the pothead’s apparently smoke 24 hours a day seven days a week. And while that’s no fault of the resort pot stinks so bad it’s obvious the whole floor smelled it’s obvious when someone there is smoking pot and it’s not legal in South Carolina and in my opinion it smells like a skunk ass and I don’t think it should be allowed on a nice property like that if the potheads want to smoke let them go out on the beach get high there other than that this day was great.

It was very dirty. Room wasn’t cleaned! We had booked for two nights, but room was so dirty and people were fighting police came to the hotel and arrested one person hallways and even our room smelled like pot. So we ended up leaving first thing in the morning after the first day, couldn’t even stay the second day. I think we should be able to get a refund for our second day. Very dirty smell like pot! Fighting police come people were very rude. Did not feel like a vacation will not go to this property ever again.

My stay was over all enjoyable, the place was clean and spacious and had a great view. I enjoyed the privacy we were given. This is my second time staying at this location and I haven't been disappointed yet. I will definitely be visiting there again There wasn't anything I didn't like

The ocean front rooms are amazing; having coffee on the balcony watching the dolphins swim by was breath taking. The facility was very clean, the hot tub was nice and relaxing. The staff in the lobby is very friendly and checks in to see how your stay is. If for-sure felt like home away from home and I’m very happy that I choose this place for my first family vacation!

Very disappointed in the housekeeping staff. Their cleaning was simply picking up the garbage and leaving new towels. On two occasions, we had to remind them to change the garbage. Room not swept daily, nothing cleaned daily in the room. We had to request a full sweep and mop. Trash all in the crevices of the floor, and microwave dirty.

We loved the spacious condo like room . I will never want to stay in a conventional room again

This was the first time we had experienced going thru a 3rd party. My husband lost the key card on our first night, and because we used a third party, we had to cobtact them directly. The hotel could not help with this unfortunately. I contacted Frank, who is the property manager and he directed me to Melody. When reaching our to her, she let me know that she would reach out after 1 pm on Sunday and that there would be a charge for replacement, which I was fine with at the time. Now, 6 days later, I still have not heard from her. I expect not to be charged at this point. Luckily we had an armband that would also open the doors. So it was not a huge emergency, just lack of urgency to help us. Lastly, the room was filthy upon arrival. I had to wipe off the countertops and table before we could use them and the floors were disgusting. You could not walk around with no shoes or else your feet would turn black in just a few moments.

The sheets on the pullout sofa look like rats had been chewing on them. It was a pullout bed on the wall, but it was screwed shut so no one could use it.

Great beachfront view. Pool and hot tub were great. Jets in the hot tub were a little weak but the temperature was perfect. Could have used some dish soap. Main bed was very comfortable. We tried to lay on the foldout couch to watch tv but there was no way. Too uncomfortable to sit on. Couldn’t imagine trying to sleep on it. Nice location and pretty affordable. Will come back.

This time we all seemed to have something biting on us in the room,as well as beds seem worn out that's my only gripe. Staff overall was nice except the one guy (the one missing front teeth) begging me for money when he brought me fresh towels Friday, that was weird. Amenities were good like always just the bug situation and worn bed was a problem. I've stayed many times before without issues

The front desk staff was amazing and so friendly and we loved the idea of the roomkey wristbands, such a great idea. The room was perfect for the two of us, especially the kitchen, and bathrooms. We loved the overall vibe of the Paradise Resort, it made the stay a little more welcoming. Two things: first it was not as clean as we had hoped, the bathroom floors were dirty and in need of mopping. Secondly, the furniture in the living area was very uncomfortable and made it difficult to sit on for very long.

The whole experience was lovely ? ? ? ? The rooms was of great value the tiki bar was lit with ja Friday are host and the staff was great we had a wonderful time I do wish the breakfast came with it but it was great

A complaint was my mattress. It had a big dip in the middle, the sides were soft and the springs were worn. My partner did not offer to switch beds. His looked to be ok.

Only one person working at the tiki hut so drinks and food took forever! Rooms and amenities are old and worn out. In desperate need of a deep cleaning and updates. Beds squeaked and rooms are so old.

Kitchen pots and pans are very bad food stuck to every pan need to be replaced, can opener didn't work, Washer broke down maintenance fixed it then the dryer stopped working unable to fix that so had to bring dirty clothes home. One bedroom with 2 queen beds was very small had to sqeeze between the wall and the bed when shutting the door, tv was in an awkward spot in that bedroom against the only window. Both beds in this same room made a rattling noise whenever you moved around on them even just sitting down. Some minor upgrading needed.

The beds were made but they made so much noise every time I moved ,the shower had hair all over the floors were dirty. I we were there for a tournament so we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or the beach but the room had beautiful views .

The lazy river very relaxing. Loved room and definitely comfortable bed Checking in so late, not much time for kids to enjoy their vacation.

Most people staying there were friendly. And the view was amazing. Our Friday 5 hours there the room was hot because we had no air conditioning and it took forever for maintenance to get out to fix it and we have a toddler and baby that were with us. The next day house keeping never came and we didn’t have any towels or washcloths to shower with. The dishes were dirty in the drawers when we went to use them. The clip board from housekeeping was in our room upon arrival as well.

My husband took me on a special birthday trip to the Paradise Resort at Myrtle Beach and booked the pent house suite from Frank. I give the guy 10 out of 10. He was very professional and made sure our stay was stress free and without interruption. The place was very nice and very cozy. Frank made us feel like we were guests that mattered. Thank you Frank for an amazing stay. There wasn't anything at the place that we didn't like. We loved it all. I'd say the bathtub was my favorite part!!

Would have loved a screen door on the balcony sliding door so we could enjoy the sound of the ocean. Had to keep it closed due to Cockroaches on balcony and also in the unit itself. We were a little freaked out with them in the unit, but understand they are common in the areas like this vacation spot. Notified owner before we left and he said he would have them taken care of.

I’ve stayed at many properties in Myrtle Beach and found this place to be perfect for me. I stay here a lot and am always sad to leave.

Location on the beach Elevators were wet and smelled, room was dirty furniture old, mattresses, dirty, tub looked like it was coming loose in the walls no remote for the fireplace, The color painted inside this god-awful yellow they advertised as a penthouse suite but it’s just a room on the top floor. They’re very misleading. Coffee maker should be a Keurig instead of a Mr. coffee that’s an ancient.

Rooms were clean, housekeeping very good, friendly staff, ocean view fantastic, appliances dated.

We stay at Paradise almost every month in the “off”season. In the summertime we can’t get in for one night so we stay elsewhere. But we love Paradise except during bike week!

The staff were outstanding. Extremely courteous and professional. Check-in was easy. The hotel entrance to the beach was a highlight. The room was nice. Not great, just nice. Door fixtures, windows and faucets were at the end of their useful life and a bit wonky. I’d do it again. Overall an excellent value for the price.

The property was perfect for us. We were traveling for sports and it was on the beach, and only ten minutes from the complex that the kids were playing at. The only thing I didn’t like is that if you needed any supplies the hotel doesn’t supply them because the unit is privately owned.

Did last minute booking, and didn’t regret it. The place is so safe and having cameras all over the hotel made it way more comfortable and safer! Night shift staff was so friendly and nice with letting us choose which floor we needed, and for checkout it was easy and smooth. Will definitely come again.

Of all the resorts in the area this one seemed like the best bet. Located right alongside the beach there were fantastic views. The cleanliness was average and could be better. However the amenities were amazing. A large swimming pool with about 2-3 hot tubs and a lazy river all located right downstairs. The staff was friendly and polite. I would stay here again over any of the other resorts in the area.

I have never been to Myrtle Beach before but I know I will be back and staying @ Paradise. This hotel was wonderful and my husband absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Overall, the property was good and enjoyed our stay. But housekeeping was a bit to be desired. When we got there, we had no coffee in the room and there was no extra toilet paper. Also housekeeping never checked in, even though we did not have our do not disturb sign on the door. Would have liked it if the restaurant was open more hours for accessibility. Our room was clean when arriving and we had a beautiful partial beach view.

Overall, the property was good and enjoyed our stay. But housekeeping was a bit to be desired. When we got there, we had no coffee in the room and there was no extra toilet paper. Also housekeeping never checked in, even though we did not have our do not disturb sign on the door. Would have liked it if the restaurant was open more hours for accessibility. Our room was clean when arriving and we had a beautiful partial beach view.

I didn't realize this was an Airbnb, I thought I booked directly through the hotel. I spent the first 30 minutes of my check-in in complete panic as they could not find my reservation in the hotel. Second, it did not mention it was on the 12th floor. I have a fear of heights and had vertigo the first 2 days every time I went on the balcony or to the windows in the hallway. Hallway was full of marijuana stench coming from the room next door. There were no guest passes as stated and the hotel lobby and doors lock at 11pm, we came back to the hotel at 11:30pm and had to go to the front desk to have someone let us in. Tv would not work with any programs. Furniture is dated. We had to take out all of our trash to the parking lot garbage canisters. We did not spend much time in the hotel as we did a lot of sightseeing. It is a decent rental for a family or group but I would look for nicer accommodations next time I visit.

The property is right near all main attractions which is great if you're using Uber or Lyft. Rooms were decent but didn't like that they don't clean your room daily and change sheets. Pool area was nice. Going to the beach was very easy and kept clean. For the price we paid I would return.

My favorite was definitely the easy access between the pool and the beach. There was a bar near the pool that you could’ve just carried a drink out to the beach and enjoyed in front of the water. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable.

It was a perfect spot and size for our 4 families. Including toddler and tween. The instructions for check-in were fairly simple. The place is a corner unit conveniently located near the trash chute and elevator. Multiple accesses to beach and access to two pools. Close to restaurants about a 10 min drive Barefoot Landing. Pretty much everything we needed for a nice get together, with plenty of room and short walk to and from the beach. The host, Halla, was very responsive and flexible.

Upon arrival I noticed a ring around the tub and also noticed faint spots on the wall and the bathroom had a weird smell once we showered that night I noticed the black mold spots start to appear and a residue from im assuming the spray they sprayed appeared on the wall on day 2 the spots were more noticeable and I did bring it to the front desk’s attention I’ve never had a bad experience until now this is normally my go to hotel because of the convenient location beach access and good food along with good vibes and this hotel has everything at one location but for the money you pay this was clearly not ok and the mold need to be treated before it make some sick

Food was great, love that you can order food at the bar. My son loved going to the beach. Only downside is the bathrooms; there were only a couple of them by the pool. They weren’t cleaned regularly.

The staff was great and responsive but there were a lot of issues with our room, broken closet door, broken bathroom door and no shower curtain. Those are things that should have been addressed before we got into the room.

Third time here. I love this place! Plenty of pool space. Lazy river, steps to the beach, pool bar, breakfast buffet available. I believe it's around $15 per person. Front desk staff VERY friendly and helpful. ONLY complaint I have is the lady running the bar Saturday is NOT friendly. She doesn't smile. Even when asked how her day was she just stared at us like we were stupid. She is rude when she is taking your order. Another customer beside me was waiting to order. Bartender asked what her order was. Customer said I think they were in front of me, and pointed to some other people. She said I asked YOU because they already ordered. That customer looked over and me and I just shook my head. She works in the breakfast buffet as well. She was very short with me that morning in there too, but not as bad as she was serving people at the bar. There were numerous people saying how rude they were treated. She is NOT an indication of anyone or anything else at this hotel. I'm sure they will correct her behavior. Everyone has a bad day, but hers didn't seem to get any better by the end of her shift. EXCELLENT stay! We will be back!

Although this property is older, it was well maintained and the units/rooms were updated since my last stay there 10 years ago. Staff was very friendly. Check in was smooth. My grandkids enjoyed every bit of the lazy river tubing, the 4 outdoor pools, and the easily accessible beach. The fully equipped kitchen was also a plus!! We hit up the local Walmart and saved some $$ by not eating out much. Rates were fantastic also. Definitely would stay there again!!

Parking at Paradise is awkward, get there early or you will be parking across the street. Check in was uninspiring. The big guy was generic like I was checking into a truck stop. The good news is that everyone I met after was friendly and engaging. Housekeeping might have been the nicest people I ever met and the lady at checkout was sweet and friendly. The room was a great location with a great view. The hotel is in the beach and have plenty of activities, which I couldn’t participate, due to the business nature of my trip. Due to location, I’m not sure I’d stay again

I enjoyed the pool and bar area. The property and rooms were clean. Some wear and tear was noticed but overall a great place to stay.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the sleeper sofa was ripped, old, and extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was great!

However whoever owns and does the rentals for Elliot Rentals clearly only care about money: The issues I had: 1. the room smelled so disgusting that when you opened the door the smell came out into the hallway. We immediately smelled it and even a random person walked passed said something about it. That was never resolved and I had to spend $37 just to mask most of the smell with car bombs and Lysol. I asked about switching rooms and in response was asked if we needed an ionizer. We said Yes and it never was brought. 2. The garbage disposal was broken and smelled like fish. Again just walking pass it you could smell it. They did fix this. 3. The furniture was so old but sturdy. Needs replacing. 4. We included all our guest so it was clear we were going to use the pull out couch and pull down bed. The mattresses were in deplorable conditions. A spring fell out of the pull out couch when we opened it. The pull down bed didn’t even close up in the wall all the way. 5. We had to take our own trash or be charged a cleaning fee when it is clear they don’t even clean the property as it should be. 6. Not having a contactless check in and out was also ridiculous. The only good thing is the linens weren’t dirty and as I said the resort itself (pools, hot tubs, activities, food, etc) was great.

Rooms were nice and clean and we had bathroom towels delivered daily. It is a great family resort however as someone who is retired there were to many kids. I just need to find a smaller resort for a little mire privacy. The staff was great and beach had easy access.

Its in the downtown area where you can walk to all the activities. Perfect location and view.

The property was in a good location. There had been many upgrades done. We had a 2-bedroom ocean front condo with a full kitchen, and it was very convenient for a family. I would go back.

It was nice having the place be right on the water, but our room was not great. There were things from the people before us still in the room and it smelt pretty terrible. We also didn’t know that we had an adjoining room and the people beside us kept trying to open the door.

Biggest turnoff was the hotel cleaning fee my credit card was charged after I left (rates differ based on how many nights you stayed and the type of room you booked. Mine was over $15 a night). I have never stayed at a hotel that charges you to clean the room as standard practice. This wasn't disclosed on hotels.com or I would have just booked a nicer place. Other than that, it was a tired little place. Musty smell, squeaky bed. The beach outside was perfect.

Booked a room for 2 queen beds. Got 2 full twins that were broken and hard to sleep on. Staff were friendly but the hotel was dated.

Clean and when we needed something they brought it to the room. Everything we needed in room and in kitchen even extra towels. No blankets except real thin one on bed only sheets for Murphy and pull out. The pools were all nice and clean not to crowded plenty of room. Handicap lift which was able to use with my dad so that was great. The lower level parking was close all the spot were basically for compact only a few handicapped so parking was not good at all. Beds not that comfortable. But the room was in great shape looked nice and clean and would go again. And right on beach. Room had blender toaster broiler pans pots with lids etc most things in a kitchen more than I expected and appliance were all clean also dishwasher. No sponge or dish soap only dishwasher soap. Tall balcony for saftey. Also free extra wrist band key cards so easy to keep up with in different sizes and for everyone in room. Hotel staff all nice. Pool was open 9am to 11pm.

Didn't like the lobby wasn't connected where the rooms are located had to walk thru and around in the parking garage. Only stay 2 nights and on our full day the had drain the outside pool it was very unfortunate. Room was clean and guess service were accommodating with extra things that we needed

A little getaway and it was really nice. Enjoyed being able to walk the water at night and it was really quiet at night.

The location and the stay was relaxing and beautiful but during our stay the A/C turned off. We had someone come pretty directly to fix it. Customer service was excellent but was frustrated that they wouldn't get me a physical receipt, refused, and said only online.

We loved our vacation at Paradise! From the first interaction when checking in, everything was nothing but great service. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Poorly managed facility. When it takes 40 minutes just to get checked in when the line is only 4 deep, second thoughts about our decision to stay kinda develop, and those same thoughts will probably cause us to look elsewhere in the future. One person at the check in counter is absurd.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for the most part. We like the fact that they gave us wristbands instead of door keys and made it more convenient. I liked and disliked all at the same time the fact that you were able to park your car in the garage and go through the doors and were on the floor of your room but I was also a little concerned about security for the same reason. We enjoy the pool area The Lazy River was just a little smaller than what I had anticipated. The only thing I was really disappointed in was the restaurant that was on site was always closed.

Very enjoyable. A few small convenience items missing in the kitchen helpful for family stays (Tupperware, pizza cutter, etc) but nothing major. Loved the amenities and my crew loved all the water options!!

2 spare bedroom mattresses wasn’t very comfortable. Not being able to park in second floor due to work was inconvenient and caused issues with parking plus the noise it made. Allowing guests to blast their music at the pool area was very irritating. One day it was so loud we left the hot tubs early. First night it was blasting until 11: 00 and another morning got woken up early for same issue. Never saw in security around to stop that mess. Only saw security Sunday night. House keeping doesn’t do great job getting trash and restocking supplies and towels. Last day went to the front desk and got ignored while trying to ask something. Don’t see how she could have missed me when you came by me and I said excuse me. Front desk needs some training except guy working Wednesday night. He was very friendly. Nice hotel but needs to address some issues. Made resting and sleeping harder.

Definitely “family friendly” as there were kids running around with no parent in sight, everywhere. Good luck if you want a peaceful time near the beach. We were kept up past 1 am with kids playing in their rooms and the hallways.

It was a great property, but too many children, no authority around, I could not even enjoy the lazy river or the pool. One of the agents was rude, I was standing there first and she took my friend over me and did not even apologize or say anything. I really did not like that.

Good location and great service at the front desk. Staff are friendly and greet you whenever they see you. My only complaint is that I had to ask for coffee bags and cups every day. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Our stay was great. All the staff from front desk to maintenance were perfect. Everyone was friendly, kind, helpful. they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Loved the on site covered parking. The place is older but very well maintained and clean. The room was spacious and view from balcony, gorgeous!

We continue to love paradise resort. We always check them first when we get a hotel. We are sad when we have to go somewhere else.

Check in was quick and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and the food at the Tiki bar was tasty. The bartender at the Tiki bar was friendly, and she made us feel like family. I did not like that there were always unattended children in the hot tub. The hot tub was the only reason I booked there so I was very disappointed that it was always filled with kids. The location was perfect. It was so close to many great restaurants. Being on the beach without the boardwalk was a plus.

I would love to be able to submit pictures of my room which I took before I checked out. It was absolutely filthy. There was smudge marks of dirt and I don't know what on the walls, the mirror and shower were not cleaned from previous. The stove face was filthy and cracked, the microwave was cracked, the refrigerator was dented and dirty on the side, the bottom of the dishwasher frame was broken and dirty. The furniture was gross, worn and dirty, the tables were worn down, there were cheese its in the door frame of the door to the outside deck left from the previous people and the floors were not clean. The woman who checked us in was rude and barely said anything. The hallways were dirty and the pool was shut down the second day we were there. There were clothes and toys thrown everywhere in the inside pool area and the entire place was dirty. I would never recommend nor stay here again. I understand it a busy time of year, but cleanliness is something that is controlled and does not need maintenance. The marks on the wall of food and dirt in my mind are completely unacceptable and the condition of the appliances are as well. The amount of money I paid for one night does not justify the condition of these items. The entire 4th floor smelled of weed. The one storage room off of the parking garage was so dirty and unkept I was shocked. I am disgusted and disappointed.

We have previously stayed at Paradise but never in a condo that was owned by another party. This particular condo was disgusting. There was mold in various places. The carpet was so nasty, that in the 5 minutes we spent in the unit, her hands and feet were disgusting from crawling on the floor. Dust on the ceiling and coming out of the vents.

Room looked worn out. Other people’s stuff was left in the dressers like candy and cookies plus shirts. Would think in the Summer that could become a pest issue. Baseboard tiles missing along with paint around the dining area
