It’s a no for me.

For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. I did not feel comfortable staying here and will never return. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Pm til 6am bright light couldn’t walk on beach was loud and bight lights all night. The only reason I was there was to walk on the beach

Staff was very helpful in everything that was needed, thanks to M . Had an issue with a tub the water wasn’t draining and he had no problem in changing our room. Pool was clean and my granddaughter enjoyed herself the whole week:weekend we stayed. Thank you

I rented the suite but it had Trap house vibe on the 1st floor right by the pool. 2 rm Oceanview balcony I didn't liked rm still couldn't see the oceanfront 5th fl. 3rd rm was on the 3rd floor with double beds. We chose that one to deal with. Elevator must be a freight because the floor was damaged near gone. They need to Renovate asap. I think ppl live there also.

People bursting music loud at the night from the rooms. The room itself had paint all over the floor the drains were slow and there was only half roll of toilet paper. All the linens were dirty and had black spots. There was no place to put your phone on charge either. Plus they have a cord that attached to the wall connecting the tv which is a hazard if you don’t watch your step you’ll trip down. And we only stayed there for a night didn’t even complete our stay. Overall the hotel was 0 out of 100 even if you say nothing positive. Just stay away from here

Not worth it for the money. The building was old, deteriorating, Ì spilled water on the floor, when I wiped it up the napkin was black, which means the floors were not clean. The ceiling above the shower the plaster and caulking was falling down. The furniture in the living Roos was old and stained. The elavator stopped working twice in the two days we were there. The paint on the kitchen cabinets was so old, you can tell it had several coats of paint, and the doors were sticking. The bedroom tv’s remote didn’t work. I will never stay there again.

Place was a dump, i booked ocean front they put me in city view, floor was tore up, ac barely worked, shower didnt get hot. Place reeked of weed, people above me partied till 3am, people were drinking and partying at the pool at 9pm w alcohol couldnt take our kids to pool w everyone smoking blunts openly. Elevators barely worked, not enough blankets, sheets were disgusting and sandy.. was just horrible

Was advised by staff that elevators weren’t functional and no housekeeping available. We had to go to front desk to get more towels. Wi-Fi was non existent- had to go Panera to work. Very disappointed!

I mean sure, it’s a great location, but our bed sheets were dirty on one bed and the bed that was clean, right next to it, there was mold growing behind the rubber pieces that’s supposed to be attached to the wall… but was not.There was sand in the floor BEFORE we had even went to the beach. The lady up front was quick to refund me so there is that, but definitely wasn’t nice about it and you could tell she definitely didn’t want to. I wouldn’t book here, instead go to garden city and stay at their inn. This place was run down, the elevator sounded like it was going to snap at any moment. The front desk staff weren’t “friendly” but they weren’t mean either, just nothing. Like there to do a job and screw you for checking in and out lol. I will attach pictures this was Friday May 22, 2026. We were in room 703, ocean front room. Also adding, this was apparently Black Bike week so all the roads were closed off and turned into one way traffic and the police (state, city, county, beach, and wildlife and game police) we stationed at the bottom of EVERY ocean front hotel. One guy was being arrested and someone loaded into an ambulance while we departed to leave just hours after arriving due to everything. I just wouldn’t recommend here, at all. Save your money and go somewhere a little nicer than Myrtle Beach and specifically THIS hotel.

The room was not very clean, the pillow cases were stuffed with something, not regular pillows. We left after the first night and I was charged 550.00 for what, I don’t know, but I wish I could get at least receive 400.00 of that money back. If you live out of state, I would suggest looking at another hotel

This location was not what I expected. While booking I kept seeing (remodel) nothing was remodeled. The flooring was uneven, the couch were filthy with stains, cigarette holes, and food stuck to it. Mold painted over, doors uneven with flooring (as to why bugs can crawl in) bathroom was tiny. No outlets worked! Sheets stained with holes. Corrosion built up. Only one working elevator and it was falling apart! The flooring, the chain sound like it was going to pop at anytime! 1/10 do not recommend sadly.

The hotel advertised on Hotels.com that they have a hot tub, which they do not. The floor had like a greasy residue, the ceiling was leaking, and in shower and on the shower curtain had hair in/on it. The cleanliness was terrible .

Convenient location to the beach. Price is always good. Our air Didn’t work for our last couple of days but we didn’t really realize until too late. Staff always seems kind. Overall enjoyed our stay. Not a Hilton hotel. But still decent overall.

This property and amenities are very dated, bed was very uncomfortable and with raggedy bed frames that stick out and cut your ankles. The front desk associates albeit very charismatic they cannot hide the fact that their product is old dated and rageedy, please save your money and invest a couple more dollars and stay somewhere where you will be comfortable, safe, clean and enjoyable .

There was a night curfew for minors and a big police presence. A few people were being handcuffed in the parking lot as we arrived.

The good about the property was it is beachfront. And the bed was pretty comfortable. The bad about the property, where do I begin? The property is outdated. The pictures are false advertisement. There were roaches in my room. Was on the balcony and someone invaded our privacy. Was sitting at the dining table and had on no clothes and someone invaded our privacy again by peeping their head over the wall. Asked for management on several occasions. Was told they will be in, in the morning. Once morning came, was told management wasn't in yet. Let them know I would call back and write a review I was highly upset. The furniture was halfway broke. The floor had holes in it, almost fell coming in. The parking was pretty decent. The bathroom was not cleaned when we got in. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Even on Sunday the pool guy was out early and was maintaining everything. The staff was 24 hours and nice and professional. Easy to talk to. View was awesome. Lighting fixtures for room was off cause no lighting for room sink area. Big plus was AC filters was clean. So I appreciate that. Overall nice place. Price decent. Staff professional and kind.

Perfect affordable stay!

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The hotel itself definitely needs an update. The staff was helpful. I was able to check in early and my room was oceanfront so I got what I booked. Unfortunately, the elevator did break at least three times while I was there (I was on the 7th floor) and when I checked in, my room did not have any wash rags. I was able to get rags upon request. I would book again!

There was No beach view. The size view of the ocean is the size view of the building. We had roaches in the room. My grandson got locked in the bathroom, but the mantaince man did come and get him out and did put another lock on it. The phone didn't not work in the room. The parking was good.

Expedia called 6 days before the planned trip and changed us to this hotel, saying that the Yachtsman couldn't accommodate us/ fulfill the prepaid contract that was agreed to. . We were sorely disappointed to find the walls rotted at the baseboard level, no coffee maker, no fitness ctr, no hot tub, and the phone didn't work so we had to go to a different bldg to get towels. Great location, staff was nice but Expedia didn't sufficently fulfill their obligation.

Don’t know why but the room I thought I had was not what I thought I was getting. I was welling to pay more if I could was told they was sold out but there was not many rooms sold that night. Me and my husband coughing all night couldn’t sleep don’t understand why then we woke up with roches something we do not have and we don’t need them to come home with us . We didn’t bring them and we don’t won’t too bring them back home with us.

The ad will say oceanfront room.. you get there for check in, and they say it is a mistake and it is actually city side you booked. The elevator was so beat up, I couldn't make myself get into it to even see the room that I did not want. The place gives sketchy vibes to the max

Safety: Elevators: one was down for maintenance, and the other was SO worn Out it was getting stuck. Saw one couple get stuck on the ground floor, the doors would only partially open then close they pushed the button for the next floor up and the doors luckily opened so they could get off, So we decided it was best to take the stairs

The room that was originally assigned to us smelled of wet dog, the hotel overall is not clean, the stairwell smelled like urine, the smell of pot was thick in the air, I would say that this hotel is pretty nasty. It is outdated terribly. The desk clerk was able to give us a little bit better room that smelled cleaner. The floor had not been mopped in quite a while, as when I wiped up some water off the floor the tissue that I used was filthy.

I am very disappointed in my stay at the Ocean Crest Inn located in South Myrtle Beach . Not only were the pictures misleading looking nothing like it does online . It has Rust , Mold , Roaches , Broken Doors , Stains on bedding and towels and that’s just the half . The staff was amazing ! But the room experience was awful

Card reader to open door broke while it was 100 degrees out and the had to call maintenance in to fix it. Other people were also having the same issues. Would never stay there again.

The elevator to the 5th floor is extremely unsafe and the doors jammed shut and wouldn’t let us exit for several minutes. Found curly black hair in all the towels. Moldy showers. Hole in bathroom ceiling above the shower. Floors are tripping hazards with inconsistent leveling. Extremely outdated and gross. The halls don’t appear to have ever been cleaned. Honestly the whole place should be burned to the ground.

Hole in bathroom ceiling above the shower. Floors are tripping hazards with inconsistent leveling. Extremely outdated and gross. The halls don’t appear to have ever been cleaned. Honestly the whole place should be burned to the ground.

Came in at 930, waited with another couple to check in to an empty desk with no clerk. Waited 15 minutes for a girl to show up and scan keys and send us on our way, walked to the room, tried the keys and they didn't work. Walked back down to an empty front desk AGAIN, this time after half an hour a young man showed up to provide a key to get in. I asked where the desk clerk was and he said they don't stay if the hotel is fully booked...this place is a joke and I'll never spend my hard earned money there again.

The hotel did have a good pool and an easy access to the beach. Overall the hotel room was clean and bedding was clean, without any smells. The view from the oceanfront room was amazing.

The property is run down and not being kept up. People were blasting music at the pool. We were only given two towels,no floor towel or hand towels, we had to ask for more. The room was clean, though sparsely furnished- no chair, no pictures on the wall. However, if you're on a budget, the pool and the location are great. If you can afford better, do get better!

This is the best budget for the hotel we have ever stayed in Myrtle Beach. The front desk pass was awesome and the housekeeping staff does an amazing job of this hotel clean. this is going to be a go to hotel.!!

They had one working elevator and it was in poor condition. Shaky and noisy. When we arrived we had no towels or washcloths in our room. We had to ask laundry for towel and washcloth and they were extremely unprofessional asking me “you ain’t had none in your room”. Uhm I wouldn’t be asking if I did. The facility is dirty. It’s not a “resort” it is like a motel 6 with a pool. The pool was nice and clean. If you are on a tight budget and just want a place to sleep then this is the place for you. Oh and our room key kept deactivating. We had to go to the reception desk 5 times in 4 days for a new key. The air conditioning is awful as well. I put it as low as it would go and as high as it would go and suffocated the whole time. For over $100 a night they could do better. No one came and cleaned our room once in 4 days. And if you want fresh towels or washcloths you have to carry them down yourself and exchange your old ones for new ones. Do not recommend this hotel. Felt like I was in the ghetto.

This property is poorly maintained and not anything like the pictures shown. The staff is friendly enough but you can tell they are very under supported. Also know the difference between ocean view and ocean front when booking. The first room I was in was scary! You get what you paid for though. The pool is amazing and the beach as well. They were the saving grace!

Basic, safe property in the thick of beach activity. Property is adequate and close to the beach and amusement park, restaurants. Huge swimming pool stays open late. Be careful of what they call "ocean view". No breakfast in the AM and no room cleanup, have to ask for towels daily etc. Plenty of parking good location.

They said their beds are queen size and they are full size, for a family of 6 this was not a great sleep. No TV, no towels, no internet, the experience was bad for the entire family. If I can get my 1100 dollars back I’ll ask for it. But I know I’m not able to get it.

For such a large property, having only one old elevator meant long wait times every single time. The room I booked showed a beach-facing view, but upon arrival, we were given a side view instead. While the staff was polite, there was only one person at the front desk trying to manage everything. The property felt very outdated — the mirror and sink were oddly placed outside the restroom, and the corridor carpet seemed dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, while it was still stayable, the entire experience was far below average. The excitement you expect from a vacation hotel room was completely missing.

There was nothing to like about this property. The room door to front and back entries were not secure and needs to be replaced. There are multiple openings in the walls that were patched up with some type of spackle, dry wall or some type of patch work. The walls themselves look to be patched un-esthetically and shoddy. The sink was patched up around the perimeter of the bowl like it was rushed. The bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain and the perimeter had some type of something on the floor that looked very unsanitary so we chose not shower. The room needs a total remodel from top to bottom. Will never visit again.

This hotel smelled like weed, it had hardly anything such as pillows, toilet paper and only two towels. It had no house keeping so you had to go down stairs for everything that you needed but that’s not even the worst thing, the worst part was that it was the third morning there was a man that came into my room at 9 o’clock in the morning and I had no clue who he was. I had mentioned it to the front desk and she said that it was maintenance but why was maintenance coming into my room when I was still sleeping and there was no reason for maintenance to be coming to my room.

The sheets and towels were stained. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. There was hair stuck to the wall of the shower and on the drain as well as stuck to the linens. There was NO shower curtain at all. The hot water did not work. The floors were dirty. We were moved to a new room but had similar findings in it. And the maintenance man was a total creep. He made sexual advances and made us so uncomfortable and afraid that we called the police to come while we removed our belongings and found another hotel to stay in. We are still fighting to get a refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

The facility definitely needs some work, upgrading, remodeling. Everything was rusty, very old, chipped, cracking, squeaky, needs a complete upgrade everywhere. The toilet ran continuously. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking, sneeze, etc. The room needs a good cleaning, not just the trash and beds. There was hair, excessive amount of dust, and dirt buildup in every corner, behind every door, etc. It was "do-able", but I definitely didnt feel safe with touching the shower curtains, standing barefoot in the tub, touching door handles, etc. Would I stay there again? Possibly if there was no where else to stay within the price range. The kids really enjoyed it so really thats all that mattered to me.

The place was absolutely disgusting. Very loud. And the huge window next to the bed leading out to everybody walking down the hall left me feeling uneasy all night. Don’t book here.

First of all check in at front desk looks okay appearance of the building in the office not pleasant elevator is raggedy surprise that it passed inspection floor molding and stuff rotted mildew smell room door look like being pride open previously before that thing can barely open or close it the devil beds one of them had like a broken bed piece to keep it level on one side AC was it cooling double beds the other one kind of cool The crazies bathroom I ever seen in my life the toilet stool is almost in the middle of the shower you can literally sit on the stool in your feet is in the shower crazy crazy it's not on the wall it's literally sitting in the middle you have to almost walk around to get into the shower the refrigerator busted all up at the bottom no rack to keep your stuff pretty much for the food staying in place smell like a marijuana factory there's so much weed no coffee at the front desk for customers attend this lazy on the phone not providing you with any towels saying that the machine was broken or you got to wait until the new ones get dried wow will definitely not stay there again well sorry I even flexed my eye at that booking at that location

Hotel was terrible the water didn’t work neither then the electricity it was filthy non of the pools were open they falsified pictures they put pics of other hotels on their site I’m a small bowel transplant patient and it was so unhygienic I couldn’t even breath there was a moldy smell this is the worst choice for a hotel

No one was there when we arrived, it was dirty stinky and completely nasty! We canceled and left immediately!!! I didn't get a full refund either so be careful! This hotel needs to be removed from Expedia!!!

it was terrible. the balcony door was broken & the front door looked like it had been kicked in. there was a ROACH. and the elevator had no inspection and was shaky. fridge was leaking.

The elevator is broke, there is no house keeping so you have no towels, you have to go ask at front desk for them, no cleaning room so the floor is sandy, we didn't even have an ice bucket!! The view was nice but don't lean on the rail it might break! The outside smells of marijuana, which lingers into YOUR room. It was a total disaster! DON'T waste your time or money here. It's not worth it. Poor management to say the least. I want a refund!!!!!!

First the elevator was out of service, then moved to 3 different rooms due to either standing water on the floor or leaking from floor above all over towels. But the last room took the prize when within 5 minutes of being there we found BED BUGS!! The front desk really didn’t care. Now we are in dispute over the place. We had to leave rather than being eaten by BED BUGS.

It was okay could have been better I expected more for the type of room that I paid for a penthouse didn’t have a broom or pots and pans no dishes nothing I could have gotten a cheaper room with all the amenities but other than that the space and the view was amazing I will book it again now that I know what to expect and bring with me a thousand dollars is a lot for two days without the necessities just my thoughts

hotel looks nothing like pictures. its ran down. chairs had cigarette holes in it... i had to buy bug bombs and leave for a few hours because of spiders... plus side is its on the beach... if i could have canceled and got a refund i would have.

This is a huge violation of guest safety and privacy. I did not request service, and there was absolutely no reason for anyone to enter my room, especially at that hour. I immediately reported this to the front desk and still have serious concerns about how this could happen and what could’ve happened to me. I hope the hotel investigates this properly and changes its procedures to protect guests. Until then, I do not recommend this hotel, If you’re a female traveling alone and want a man coming in your room in the middle of the night this is your go to place luckily my before was with me but this is not accidental it was very intentional and creepy.

So the first room we had the pull out bed was disgusting and we talked to the guy that was working and he was high as a kite but they upgraded our room for free which I was grateful for but then we called the front desk to see about getting some pillows for the pull out bed and they didn't have any so we let that go and made do with what we had in the room but then we called the front desk to tell them that the fridge wasn't working which I wouldn't care but we had milk for our baby to drink and it ruined, they had brought a mini fridge to the room and it didnt work either so the stuff we did have all of it ruined, you couldnt walk into the office without smelling pot so strong and then when my man went to turn our keys back in because we was checking out and heading home he told the manager that the fridge didn't work they had brought and that our stuff ruined she made the smart remark that he couldn't get everything for free and he wasn't asking for anything for free he was just letting her know the fridge wasn't working they had brought up there for the replacement and the stuff ruined we had. The rooms definitely need upgrades so if u want to stay where some of the employees stay high including the manager and where the rooms are for sure falling apart this would be the place for you but if u have a family I wouldn't recommend staying here!!!

Properties are falling apart when we got there the elevator sounded like it was going to fall at any point then two days into the trip it actually stopped working and we had to carry all our suitcases down three flights of stairs the balconies have chunks falling out of them. We see roaches, and the staff was not happy about the event that we were there to participate in and complain about us being there the whole time.

The staff was very friendly but the condition of the room was not great. The structure of the bathroom was uncomfortable and the water pressure was not good. The lighting there was not all that great as well.

Property could definitely use an upgrade. Elevator kept breaking down and sounded horrible. There was a big step up in the room from the balcony that looked like they just kept piling new flooring on top of others. The pool was nice though and the view was good. The lady at check in was super sweet. Didn’t see any bugs and we had what we needed so can’t complain.

Stayed for my sons birthday. Rooms look completely different in person so watch for that. Only one elevator. Tv didn’t work. window A/C units rattled throughout the night. Had to hold handle until toilet fully flushed. No tub. Not even a damn bible 😂

The location was probably the best thing about the stay. The duvet had burns holes in it and hairs were on the covers and in the sheets. Toilet seat was raggedy and worn and the toilet shifted a lot. Saw a bug in the shower. Only thing matched the pictures was the balcony. Definitely not what I was expecting to walk into. Definitely need to do some upgrades

Spent almost 3 hours for room to be cleaned. Elevator wasn't working. Roaches all over the room so we left. Staff seemed unbothered by what was happening. Looked like homless people were staying there.

This property should be condemned. The property was like walking into a horror house. The couch was filthy. The furniture was so fragile I wouldn't sit on it. The curtains was covered with brown mildew. They lamps and furniture was covered with stains. The door handle had a screw hanging out of the handle holding the door knob together. The room smelt like mildew. Entering the stairs the concrete was cracked and unsafe, and the property to me is dilapidated. My family and I couldn't stay there under those conditions.

Beautiful ocean view from balcony! Room needs fresh paint, lots of previous rough patchwork evident. Found roaches in dresser, bathroom/sink area. Shower head not secured well in wall. Haidryer and holder fell out of wall next to sink. Key cards had to be refreshed almost every time we tried to get back in room even though we were very careful to keep them away from credit cards, cell phones, remotes, etc. Elevators out of service for frat two days. Lastly, fresh towels only available from front desk.

Check-in was easy enough and staff efficient. The room was awful! We had to use force to get the door to budge open. On the inside it looked like the door had been kicked in a few times. Layout of the King Suite was awkward with the sink/mirror in the hallway and the toilet and shower opening into the bedroom. TP was on back of toilet because no holder rods to hang tp on. The couch in the living room was filthy - never sat on it. The one light in the living room didn’t work. The door to the toilet was filthy. I wiped it off and stopped when I realized it was possibly dried blood. Burn holes in the curtain and blanket. Saw several roaches. The whole place smelled like weed. Bedding appeared clean and bed was comfortable enough. View was beautiful and pool looked well maintained.

The door didn't deadbolt .. lo and behold my wife is getting out of the shower this morning and the door just opens up. One of the cleaning people or somebody that work there it opened the door up and said oh I'm sorry and closed it back. Wow even though you say I'm sorry that doesn't fix the fact that you walked in on my wife getting out of the shower. She is in shell shock now our trip ..the toilet was so close to the ground that my handicap bathroom was a death trap . No hand rails. Bathroom door opened going in making it right trying to get around to walk in shower.. however the water pressure was nice and it was really hot so out of the whole bathroom experience at least the water was hot that's how I'm looking at it keep from being mad that I had to go to the store this morning before I can even start my day to use the restroom so I can go back and take a shower
